Imagine being a first responder and showing up to an emergency with a vehicle they have never seen before because it runs on electricity. Not knowing if touching the metal will electrocute you. This is the reality for officers and firefighters as they see more and more emergencies involving electric vehicles. General Motors is working to educate first responders about EV’s in an effort to keep them safe while they try to keep us safe.
