We spoke to two community development advocates, Maria Landmesser, managing broker of the RE/MAX Concepts office in Ankeny, Iowa, and Ryan Gable, CEO of StartingPoint Realty in Palatine, Ill., about how they got started in philanthropy, how others can get involved, and why giving back can be good for business.
