[SPEAKER_06]: Bets are in. [SPEAKER_06]: If you're not a member of drinking bro's sports on Facebook, it is a private group and you can see all of the bet slips from my bookie on there.
[SPEAKER_06]: Looking forward to it, and also, Dan Thinney, looking forward to the fact that the Falcons do not have a pick in the first round, so I can kind of just relax tonight. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope they trade into the first round and make the dumbest possible pick. [SPEAKER_04]: That sounds important. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, otherwise, like, I don't even know if I'm going to do the show.
[SPEAKER_04]: If we get to like, if we get to like the 13th or 14th pick and they haven't traded in and taken somebody, there was a, I think, a season two of the league, where they did their draft party or whatever, and one of the dipshits draft of the dude that wasn't even eligible, like he was retired or something. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope they do that. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope they draft Terrell Owens. [SPEAKER_06]: Look, what would be awesome for me is if they draft me tonight.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, yes, I'm eligible for the draft tonight. [SPEAKER_06]: Not sure what's going to happen, but they've got my stats from originally and everything else. [SPEAKER_06]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_06]: That's where the kicker from the Seattle Seahawks came. [SPEAKER_06]: So look, I'm just as nervous as everybody else tonight. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, my parents are going to be watching. [SPEAKER_06]: I'll be live on air and my cell phone will be right next to me all night long.
[SPEAKER_06]: and we'll see if I get drafts in tonight's number one kicker that was drafts in the first round, Bob, you know who that is? [SPEAKER_06]: Jenna Cowsky, Sabo, dude, my boy, love that guy, worth it too, by the way. [SPEAKER_06]: He had a plane like 22 years, he had a great career, great career, it was amazing. [SPEAKER_06]: He was the first guy in King King in 60 yarders.
[SPEAKER_07]: uh... that i can remember no i did that the broncos kicker did it right before genica's key greater jacenilum oh yeah yeah he had the record it was sixty two i think you had it obviously in mile high [SPEAKER_06]: mile-high stadium. [SPEAKER_06]: That was a count. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't think so either.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... jianna kowsky was kicking off the dirt and oakland for good news didn't more nannison have a bunch over fifty five i mean he was up there he was i just don't think you don't get the opportunities back then to kick from sixty he probably can't make it now this record set or was uh... as half time was expiring yep like they were just like afloat it was uh... sixty three yards uh... that that held up forever and and then obviously now people doing their sleep
[SPEAKER_06]: Rainer Aubrey for the Dallas Cowboys just signed a four year 28 million dollar deal is a kicker highest in the history That's a crazy I'm out of my I mean look to be in the difference between games.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know he's changing the game now, so yeah, it's worth it I mean you get the ball of 50 any scoring so fingers crossed that a good drafts and we'll find out join us live tonight a lot of drinks a lot of fun a lot of laughs and hopefully not at my expense [SPEAKER_06]: with the Atlanta Falcons, but we'll see what shakes out. [SPEAKER_06]: All right, kids, let's hop into the news.
[SPEAKER_06]: Shall we, and then a quick reminder, I'll be with Anthony next week and Wilmington, North Carolina as we look at the new studio and all that other fun stuff and take measurements. [SPEAKER_06]: So not too much longer here, zooming back in fourth.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... top story here is ice and dhs were funded very very late last night uh... center republicans pushed their immigration funding plan forward early Thursday adopting a budget blueprint after an all night vote series that sets up
[SPEAKER_06]: billions for ice and border patrol while sideline the democrats and republicans adopted their budget resolution uh... which t's up funding for immigration and customs enforcement aka ice and border patrol uh... and effectively cuts congressional democrats out of the process entirely the first major step towards unlocking the budget reconciliation process which republicans are diving into
[SPEAKER_06]: once again after Democrats refused to fund ice and border patrol without stringent reforms despite Republicans largely being on the same page on the approach Senator Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, voted against the budget's blueprint. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, look, I don't understand why we had this shutdown then. [SPEAKER_06]: If this was your big thing, that we weren't going to fund ice and everything else, and then you could just vote it in separately, who fucking cared?
[SPEAKER_06]: Like we could have caught all that bullshit out for the last three months. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so in politics, sometimes you have to manufacture victories, right? [SPEAKER_04]: whether they're real or not, you just, you, you throw a poison pill into a bill so it can't get past and say, look, oh, they're obstructing or you pick out one minor reason you don't want to do something, even though you know for a fact it's going to get done anyways and you don't have the votes to stop it.
[SPEAKER_04]: And you say, look, we've resisted as best we could and you fundraise off with. [SPEAKER_04]: That's American politics. [SPEAKER_04]: It's really that simple. [SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing else to say about that. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but it sucks for everybody else. [SPEAKER_06]: And we've got to put up with this shit for nothing. [SPEAKER_06]: Just so one side could have one story. [SPEAKER_06]: And by the way, this happens on both sides of the aisle.
[SPEAKER_06]: So Republicans have done some dumb shit as well, trying to vote that Obamacare thing down now, obviously. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, a hindsight that looks really, really great, but uh, they didn't have the votes, and that's the fucking problem here. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, now Elizabeth Warren, uh, had a, a fun little tweet last night because they'd do it. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, we got a super, I've actually, I've actually got a quote right here.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh [SPEAKER_06]: and then just kind of scream out moana.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but we need somebody to translate the smoke signals as well because I don't know that language. [SPEAKER_06]: I do. [SPEAKER_06]: I do. [SPEAKER_06]: I very well. [SPEAKER_06]: Studied it in college. [SPEAKER_06]: It was going to be my main role. [SPEAKER_09]: Cherokee! [SPEAKER_06]: With that Cherokee. [SPEAKER_06]: With that Cherokee. [SPEAKER_06]: With that Cherokee. [UNKNOWN]: Cherokee.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, right now, she says in the middle of Trump's war with a ran, Senator Republicans are keeping us here all night to vote on the most pressing issue they can think of, giving 70 billion more to ICE and CBP. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to fight them every step of the way. [SPEAKER_06]: You didn't list any loss. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: You lost last night. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so did the Indians by the way. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, fans.
[SPEAKER_04]: You should have fought harder. [SPEAKER_04]: Otherwise, you know, you wouldn't be living on those fucking reservations now. [SPEAKER_04]: It's only you can only blame yourself.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... man but look is happy as i am about this uh... obviously because uh... we support ice and in the border patrol and all that other shit and keep in the country safe uh... i just again i don't know why we had to go for this whole song and dance for three months to get to this fucking outcome and why what you know what i think is that republican should start understanding that the uh... [SPEAKER_04]: the left plans on playing with fire here.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, why are we delaying anything? [SPEAKER_04]: This was always an option.
[SPEAKER_04]: Is it matter of fact, Kennedy was trying to get John Kennedy was trying to get, [SPEAKER_04]: save act a couple of the things added into this in a reconciliation which you could have done honestly and it would have passed the house but the Senate rejected it 4850 because Rand Paul these are McCouskey, Mitch McConnell and some other fucking piece of shit said no. [SPEAKER_04]: By the way, there's something that 85% of Americans want.
[SPEAKER_04]: It is an unobjectionable piece of legislation but Republicans refuse refuse [SPEAKER_04]: to use power. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, power in general is not a conservative argument. [SPEAKER_04]: You as a conservative individual should not be trying to amass power. [SPEAKER_04]: But when the people elect you as a majority, it is your fucking responsibility. [SPEAKER_04]: Go to Congress and enact that majority into law. [SPEAKER_04]: That is what a fucking Constitution Republic is.
[SPEAKER_04]: And Republicans fail miserably every single time. [SPEAKER_04]: It's one thing to seek out a weaponized government power. [SPEAKER_04]: It's another thing to get elected [SPEAKER_06]: I just don't understand it. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, this is 85% and that's CNN that reported that of Republicans and Democrats that want the save act.
[SPEAKER_06]: They're not doing shit about that and Nick Freedus or friend had a funny reply to her last night said, well, I'm just spit ball in here, but it might have something to do with last night's vote of your party letting in tens of millions of people into the country illegally. [SPEAKER_06]: So, sorry, you have to work late. [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe next time, don't sponsor an invasion of our country.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's the way that I feel, however, looking at why they're doing it and why they left the border open to get these votes and all this other shits and change the voting districts and everything else. [SPEAKER_06]: I understand, because again, I don't all stand by this, and I said this last year, I don't know what their voting base looks like.
[SPEAKER_06]: If they took away all these free shits, if they didn't have a legal, if you actually had to have an ID to vote, I don't know what any of these elections would look like. [SPEAKER_06]: And then the thing with Virginia already got overturned by a judge, now we'll get to that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we'll get to that later on, but some... [SPEAKER_06]: you know why you're pissed off about this when you're literally just spending money to make our own country safe uh... the iron thing you and i have said the same thing look you want to bitch about that fine uh... but this is for our own country for our own our own borders and then people that are just walking around the streets with us here [SPEAKER_06]: So, what's the other argument?
[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't understand. [SPEAKER_06]: Getting a legal is out of our fucking country and then getting them off the tip of the government because we're giving them fucking free money. [SPEAKER_06]: Like, is good for everyone? [SPEAKER_06]: What's the argument? [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, well, Brasso summed it up pretty good. [SPEAKER_04]: Today's Democrats are a rogue and radical party. [SPEAKER_04]: You deserve better than reckless Democrats.
[SPEAKER_04]: Hosh is taking, you deserve the tools and support from Congress necessary to carry out the mission Congress has given you. [SPEAKER_04]: our country depends on you. [SPEAKER_04]: It's really simple. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, there's some things you can make political, certainly. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't think it's the security of the country is one of them. [SPEAKER_04]: It shouldn't be a least.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it shouldn't be, uh, but this fraud and waste and everything that is associated with illegal immigrants, um, you know, we've seen these stats over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_06]: We played that clip on fake news actually. [SPEAKER_06]: What was it three weeks ago? [SPEAKER_06]: We're homeboy, right off the stats of like the amount of people that come into the country year one that are on welfare versus year 15. [SPEAKER_06]: It's like 62%.
[SPEAKER_06]: So it's not like we're letting in the best and the brightest and they're actually contributing to society. [SPEAKER_06]: No, they're just stealing our fucking money at the end of the day. [SPEAKER_06]: And then I don't know if you saw this because you probably stop watching the show a long time ago. [SPEAKER_06]: Jimmy Kimmel, who, again, is no longer a comedian, had Tim Walsh on his fucking show last night. [SPEAKER_04]: That's because Tim Walsh is about to be impeached.
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought they voted that down. [SPEAKER_06]: I think it I double checked that Bob. [SPEAKER_06]: I think I think they lost by one vote Actually, I know Republicans put it on the table and I believe they lost by one Um, it failed in a party Yeah, failed in a committee vote. [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't even get to Right yeah, and I believe it was one vote if memory serves me correctly.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a couple weeks ago But since we can't play this clip was run YouTube today and I'll get new to I'll just read this quote [SPEAKER_06]: Um, and this was Kimmel to Tim Walls last night, did it take a long time for you to know fraud was happening. [SPEAKER_06]: Tim Walls, his response was this. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm not kidding, word for word. [SPEAKER_06]: It happens in other states, uh, actually, you know what, play the audio. [SPEAKER_06]: Just don't play the video.
[SPEAKER_06]: Fuck you. [SPEAKER_00]: Did you say that? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I will now because I just, it's his voice saying this too that you're just like, are you a fucking retard? [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the answer's yes, but, um, man. [SPEAKER_06]: This is a ballsy move, these fucking people going on live TV saying shit right now, when these investigations are under way and make no mistake, there is actually one finally happening for Illinois and Omar and her husband.
[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, just press play, just don't show the video. [SPEAKER_06]: That's the YouTube new kit. [SPEAKER_19]: been on this is this, these multiple cases of benefits fraud. [SPEAKER_19]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_19]: That were happening. [SPEAKER_19]: Now I want to ask you, did it take, did it take an extraordinary long time for you to know that that was happening? [SPEAKER_19]: No. [SPEAKER_19]: Is that just something that has been spread? [SPEAKER_17]: It happens in other states.
[SPEAKER_17]: We were going back to many of these people prosecuted in 2021. [SPEAKER_17]: He used it as an excuse because it was a perfect thing to do to say there was fraud, imagine that. [SPEAKER_17]: Coming from this guy, he would know fraud, where it was at. [SPEAKER_17]: So he used it to, he's like, segment fraud.
[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_17]: demonized, demonized, immigrant community, especially the small community, and I said what he was doing was, is the programs and Minnesota, look, we are a generous state. [SPEAKER_17]: We're also like California, we're a payer state. [SPEAKER_17]: We pay more in than we get back to support red states that don't support their people.
[SPEAKER_17]: But they came in to try and destroy those programs, and you know, that's, again, rich, destroy programs that don't help them by billionaires who commit this fraud. [SPEAKER_17]: But no, it was an excuse for them to do it.
[SPEAKER_06]: always billionaires it's always it's happening in other states and the fact that he brought up California which has more fraud than Minnesota has this is all because of immigration all of it is because of immigration now uh is it going on with snap benefits and all that other shit absolutely and we haven't even cracked uh the the fucking
[SPEAKER_06]: cork of the wine on that one open yet, but dude, this is, it's just fucking nuts, man, to go out and say this, that's always, you know, it's this is going on in other states and it's just using some always as an excuse. [SPEAKER_06]: No, no, the fraud is there.
[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, we're trying to keep these people out of the fucking country, trying to save some money, try to save some taxpayer money, sorry Elizabeth Warren that you got to go in at three o'clock in the morning last night. [SPEAKER_06]: What, they only work like what 150 days out of the [SPEAKER_04]: It's not much, um, yeah, I mean, I don't think, I don't think it's that much. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's 120.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: So my point is this with, with between Elizabeth Warren and Tim Walls and all these other guys, these are all people who want these votes of these immigrants in these other states. [SPEAKER_06]: They don't want voter ID and everything else. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, this save act here. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, this. [SPEAKER_06]: I was shocked.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, actually got past so that brought me, I would say my hope level, if I'm going with solo here, hope solo behind me, my hope solo level, for them passing the save act might go to 15%, but that's about as far as I'm willing to max that out right now. [SPEAKER_06]: But people are really starting to fucking pump up the volume against Thune. [SPEAKER_06]: Do you think this will come to the floor here in the next couple of months?
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah, I think Trump will force it to the floor at some point. [SPEAKER_04]: I, I, I think it'll get past. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it'll, it'll pass the house easily. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'll pass the house. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, the Senate is what I'm worried about. [SPEAKER_06]: If Murkowski and Paul flipped on this bullshit, [SPEAKER_06]: Um, what does that tell you?
[SPEAKER_04]: Is that a bell weather for this vote then it wasn't just them that was McConnell and somebody else as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I can't remember who there was a fourth repube who voted against it, but you got to wonder like honestly there's there's there's been no reasonable [SPEAKER_04]: There's been no reason why explanation from any of those four people, why they would vote against this extremely popular, especially with the right.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's like an over 95% with the right, but extremely popular, Bill. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, Rand Paul runs in a state that where he's not going to lose, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: Let's be real about that. [SPEAKER_04]: In Turkey, same with Mitch McConnell, it's the same state. [SPEAKER_04]: Neither one of those people. [SPEAKER_04]: Mitch McConnell's going to retire, but neither one of those guys is going to lose.
[SPEAKER_06]: Or he might die in office, another one just died in office yesterday, by the way. [SPEAKER_04]: He had been nice, but I wouldn't count on it. [SPEAKER_04]: Murkowski is to be, I don't understand how she's still involved in politics. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, there's Alaska is not going to elect a democratic senator. [SPEAKER_04]: No, but, yeah, I mean, [SPEAKER_04]: You don't have to tip toe the line up there to get elected.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a fucking, it's not like what's or not's over in Maine, can't remember her name. [SPEAKER_04]: Colin, Susan Collins, Susan Collins. [SPEAKER_04]: That's a completely separate situation. [SPEAKER_04]: This is, these are deep red states. [SPEAKER_04]: Now I can talk to you's got a governor that's a Democrat right now. [SPEAKER_04]: Now he also received a fuck ton of money from the SPLC. [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see how much longer he's at operational.
[SPEAKER_04]: So we put it at Warnock and who's the other? [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, we're not got a Georgia. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's the uh, he's the other. [SPEAKER_04]: There was one. [SPEAKER_04]: There was one other senator who is a who, who most people think is a moderate Democrat, but took a fuck ton of money from SPLC. [SPEAKER_04]: They're getting investigated right now from what I heard from a people that Department of Justice. [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see how it all shakes out.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, these like Republicans in deep red states that are blocking this stuff is fucking insane to me. [SPEAKER_04]: So I have to make sure it makes me think that. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's Markowski, Rand Paul, McConnell, and Josello and Tom Tillis from North Carolina, that's right. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's right. [SPEAKER_06]: He's a shit who's retiring. [SPEAKER_06]: You got him tell us as a piece of shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: Two people who were retiring, who were blocking the fucking thing. [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, he like these, you've got to wonder [SPEAKER_04]: Um, when somebody, it's one thing for someone to have an opposing opinion from you, but when you're entire, when you're, entire politics is identified in a certain way, and you vote contrary to that, especially on your way out the door, somebody's brimbing you or somebody's blackmail you.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't believe, and for any amount of time, to any of these people on the level, including Rand Paul, I think he's a fucking cunt. [SPEAKER_06]: So do I. Um, and I, I want all of them out of there, but that is four senators. [SPEAKER_06]: If they vote against the save act, it will not pass. [SPEAKER_04]: That's right. [SPEAKER_04]: But there are two of them will be gone soon. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know who's replacing them. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't either, but it doesn't matter.
[SPEAKER_06]: You've got to get this through before November, or it's certainly not going through once Democrats win the house in November. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know that that's going to happen, but we'll see. [SPEAKER_06]: You still say no? [SPEAKER_06]: I say yes, you know, one just due to history too. [SPEAKER_06]: I've been looking actually at a lot of these people and a lot of these candidates. [SPEAKER_06]: Bob, one of them is the one you like. [SPEAKER_06]: He's out of mind.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he ran in my district in Georgia. [SPEAKER_06]: Didn't actually live in the fucking district. [SPEAKER_06]: That's a John Ossiff guy.
[SPEAKER_04]: for what yeah he's he's the other one john us off is the one he's being investigated by the DOJ right now that's not public information but I don't give a fuck um he took something like 250,000 to an 80,000 bucks from the SPLC during this time period um [SPEAKER_04]: He, he, I think he was the, the number one recipient of SPLC money is a, is a, is a political candidate.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, but he, the polls just got released in Georgia, uh, some of my friends, you know, a chat and about it. [SPEAKER_06]: So he's up over the Republican candidates down there. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, John Asaf is, uh, he, although he's adamant, he will not run for presidents, uh, allegedly. [SPEAKER_06]: So, um, [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, everybody says that. [SPEAKER_06]: I know. [SPEAKER_06]: I know.
[SPEAKER_06]: They all fucking say it, but that's the only thing that gives me pause. [SPEAKER_06]: Where if you got these for voting against border patrol and ice, I don't know how you get them to vote for this. [SPEAKER_06]: And if so, if these are the four that indeed take down the save act, it jacked them from the country immediately. [SPEAKER_06]: Not only get them out of office, get them out of our out of our goddamn country like, [SPEAKER_06]: it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, in regards to Thune, is there nothing that Trump can do to call John Thune and say, hey, mother fucker, like I will come at you with a force of 1,000 tornadoes or whatever he says in through social and get you out of office? [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that it's a one-way conversation and you don't know that Trump isn't satisfied but the way things are going either.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, this is why I think that [SPEAKER_04]: The all the discussion about the left taking the house in November is a bit premature because [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's safe to say Trump has learned quite a bit from his first term in office. [SPEAKER_04]: I think you learned quite a bit during his time off as well.
[SPEAKER_04]: And playing cards at the right time, like exposing fucking voter fraud, which has happened recently, and exposing all these other scandals that have been a completely fake all the time and holding people accountable should that happen. [SPEAKER_04]: All this stuff will matter between now and November. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm again, I've said this before, but I am told there are sweeping indictments coming from political figures, business people, media people, all sorts of stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: TBD, if it actually happens, I don't know, I can't speak to that, but what I am told is, [SPEAKER_04]: They are all in progress and they're being held for the political campaign season. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, specifically to weaponize them during the season. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm not convinced that the house is going to lose. [SPEAKER_04]: Is it involving voter fraud by any chance?
[SPEAKER_04]: Part of it is voter fraud, part of it is Russia collusion, part of it is uh... [SPEAKER_04]: The stuff that happened after Russia collusion weaponization of the intelligence agency's part of it is censorship The federal government demanding Facebook sensor people. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of stuff going on. [SPEAKER_04]: That's to you again a lot of accusations get thrown around a lot of them get proven and then nothing ever happened.
[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll see Yeah, I actually shit as a [SPEAKER_06]: 36 minutes ago there was a Trump gave a speech on it, uh, one of the, one of the chances here cat he's, he's everywhere. [SPEAKER_06]: Bob go to your Twitter and, uh, and play this clip regarding the save act. [SPEAKER_06]: Interesting. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I don't know where the fuck he's out here. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't recognize his background. [SPEAKER_06]: He's given a speech somewhere.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, he's all over the place. [SPEAKER_06]: He really is. [SPEAKER_06]: I, again, whatever cocktail that is, give it to me, give it to me for the NFL draft tonight for [SPEAKER_13]: We should also add on to this bill, and so what I've asked Mike to do is to draw a new one with these two things added, and let's go for the gold. [SPEAKER_13]: Let's not just get one like voter ID, but it can be given to you by your daughter.
[SPEAKER_13]: You know, your daughter, she has to be of age, like above six years old, she's allowed to say. [SPEAKER_13]: You had to see some of this stuff is so bad. [SPEAKER_13]: They're doing everything possible because they know if we get this, they'll probably won't win an election for 50 years, okay? [SPEAKER_13]: And maybe longer. [SPEAKER_13]: And they're going to fight like hell, but boy do they get killed?
[SPEAKER_13]: Because even the Democrats, you saw the numbers today, Democrats voted 86 percent that this stuff should be passed. [SPEAKER_13]: The Democrats, with Republicans, you're 98 percent, but Democrats are at 86, except for the [SPEAKER_13]: run the Democrat party because they want to try and win elections illegally. [SPEAKER_13]: It's the only reason you vote against voter ideas because you want to cheat. [SPEAKER_13]: There's no other reason. [SPEAKER_13]: They come up with reasons.
[SPEAKER_13]: They say, it's racist. [SPEAKER_13]: That's their number one racist. [SPEAKER_13]: Then you have to explain it. [SPEAKER_13]: They're just sitting there mumbling. [SPEAKER_13]: They can't explain it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: I saw actually a white woman on a... [SPEAKER_06]: I forget would... [SPEAKER_06]: state she's from uh... in regards to this where she said uh... it's not only racist but it's it's bad for women because apparently when women get married they've got to change their last name and they would have to bring a marriage license or something uh... hate to break it to you got to do that anyways with the dmv
[SPEAKER_06]: As soon as you get married anyway, so I don't all these weird lies that are being told in regards to this like make no fucking sense whatsoever. [SPEAKER_04]: I think we should eliminate ID required to buy a house or get a credit card as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Because look. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, you get married and the woman changes her name and now, but that's that's what percentage of women 80% of women get married at some point. [SPEAKER_04]: So 80% of women are now disenfranchised.
[SPEAKER_04]: They have to take the time out of their very, very busy day to get their hands on their birth certificate and their social security card in order a new one. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_04]: Which is fucking him. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's impossible. [SPEAKER_04]: Because nobody ever figured it out before [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, damn it. [SPEAKER_06]: Remember that story we did about Jimmy's famous seafood while back? [SPEAKER_06]: I love Jimmy's.
[SPEAKER_04]: So do I. I ordered some of their stuff on the internet, actually, they sell stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: They sell like flash frozen fish products, like seafood on the internet. [SPEAKER_04]: You can buy it. [SPEAKER_04]: No shit. [SPEAKER_06]: All right. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we'll support Jimmy's favorite seafood, absolutely. [SPEAKER_06]: Not a sponsor, just love them, but he had a great tweet about it said, you need valid ID to enter our bar.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, yes, like, I don't understand. [SPEAKER_06]: But I, this is the big one for me. [SPEAKER_06]: Get this one past and, and I'll feel good about it. [SPEAKER_06]: Even ship, the thing that got past last nine or three, 30 in the morning, this funds it through all of Trump's term. [SPEAKER_06]: So he's good, like, you know, board a patrol budget, ice, all that other stuff, like, he is good for the rest of his term, so he can keep going on business as usual.
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm psyched about that. [SPEAKER_06]: What were the final numbers, Bob, as I know was very, very close. [SPEAKER_06]: What last 1948 it was 5048. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it was it was close last night and I was surprised I was like oh all right and it was close in the house to like I want to say it was two to three votes and that too Which is weird to me, but I guess you know, it's the usual fucking suspects Whatever man.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's get the save act done next and truthfully I'm I would be pretty fucking ants and I think that would be [SPEAKER_06]: The biggest bill that a Republican could pass in their presidency, I really do. [SPEAKER_06]: I know, no Democrat will ever pass that, but for a Republican, I think that'd be great.
[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll see, the clock is ticking though, you know, I hope the Supreme Court comes into without a lot of the June on top of it, without a bringer store for sponsor, talking [SPEAKER_06]: It's a little box right here. [SPEAKER_06]: If you don't believe that I'd take that we got listening to here in the studio today. [SPEAKER_06]: Right now you're getting five free meat sticks with any supplement purchase. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna take the supplements live on air here.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll talk about these micro factors. [SPEAKER_06]: Best in the biz. [SPEAKER_06]: Takes the guesswork out of vitamins. [SPEAKER_06]: 30 bags, one beautiful little box. [SPEAKER_06]: And it's got the big six in it. [SPEAKER_06]: And I accidentally cokey 10's multi vitamins fruits and veggies, EFA's and the probiotics. [SPEAKER_06]: You just walked by camera there, you know. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm taking it live on air for Christ six. [SPEAKER_06]: I forgot to take it this morning.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was in a rush. [SPEAKER_06]: Dan and I had some meetings earlier, but yeah, I'll take some live on air here. [SPEAKER_06]: I take it every single day. [SPEAKER_06]: Let's face it. [SPEAKER_06]: We all don't work out the way we need to, or eat the way we need to, we want to daily basis. [SPEAKER_06]: However, it is important to get the daily vitamins inside your body on a daily basis.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, they're not just about, [SPEAKER_06]: Microfactors, dance and either about protein. [SPEAKER_06]: Tell us about the protein. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I take my pills. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, protein is the building block. [SPEAKER_04]: of life. [SPEAKER_04]: And there's now all sorts of new options. [SPEAKER_04]: So they've got the power pro bar, which is whole food, protein bar. [SPEAKER_04]: I really like it.
[SPEAKER_04]: My favorite flavor is peanut butter, chocolate chip, and that one. [SPEAKER_04]: But there's a coconut chocolate chip when it's also very good. [SPEAKER_04]: And as usual with first form, all the macros are right where you want it to be. [SPEAKER_04]: It's 290 grams or 290 calories
[SPEAKER_04]: And this is the one that I'll eat before I'm going to work out because it's got a little bit of sugar in it too, a little bit of carbs to get me get me wrapped up, you know, I mean, so I got something to burn what I've been there, I've become a really big fan of these actually these power power pro bars, I mean, I've been eating more of these and less of the, the level one bars lately for some reason, I don't know why maybe it's just because they're new, I don't know, but I really like these.
[SPEAKER_06]: I go into those patterns as well. [SPEAKER_06]: I was at my buddy's house, Justin, from Hot Ground Gym here in Austin. [SPEAKER_06]: I was at his house, our kids were playing together the other night. [SPEAKER_06]: He goes, God damn it, man. [SPEAKER_06]: He goes, you keep talking about first form on the show. [SPEAKER_06]: And then when you order it, he goes, you're addicted to it. [SPEAKER_06]: And I walked into his pantry, stacks and stacks of bars everywhere.
[SPEAKER_06]: And they really are the best there is. [SPEAKER_06]: And even he was just like, bro. [SPEAKER_06]: You know, I've got a gym for a living and with kids and everything else and it goes they're great for kids. [SPEAKER_06]: So if you're trying to get your kids off candy bars and all that other stuff, a million different flavors and their level, one bars, all those flavors are available in the powders as well. [SPEAKER_06]: And those counts too.
[SPEAKER_06]: So if you want to get those five free meat sticks, which I highly recommend the sharp cheddar that's the new one, that's the jam, I haven't had the garlic one yet.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... the Italian and the jalapeno cheddar uh... try it for free excellent meal replacement in the middle of the afternoon uh... had one in between shows here got a first one dot com forward slash drinking bros today uh... whether it's gonna be free shipping as always on orders over a hundred dollars plus you get five free meat sticks [SPEAKER_06]: with a purchase of any supplement and that is first form spell with a one.
[SPEAKER_06]: One STP-H-O-R-M first form dot com forward slash drinking bros and then our buddy Christian who is on the show running marathons. [SPEAKER_06]: I saw his posts today where he said they've booked summer smash. [SPEAKER_06]: So they've got the date for it. [SPEAKER_06]: Do you know what it is, yeah? [SPEAKER_04]: Isn't June? [SPEAKER_06]: No, let me look at up. [SPEAKER_06]: It's June 14th. [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, June 14th is when that is and if you've not gone up to any for sellers facilities, they're incredible. [SPEAKER_06]: You're going up there on Monday, aren't you? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm doing me and Moditoria are doing really f together. [SPEAKER_04]: No way, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: That's an awesome one. [SPEAKER_04]: OK. Yeah, well, it'll be, it should be a good time. [SPEAKER_04]: It's live at 7 p.m.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's 7 p.m. Central or Eastern actually really check. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's 7 p.m. Central. [SPEAKER_04]: Can we introduce him? [SPEAKER_04]: Ask him if we can air it. [SPEAKER_04]: I'd love to, I'd love to air that show. [SPEAKER_04]: I think he lives streams on YouTube. [SPEAKER_04]: So okay, perfect. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll ask him for the key. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, ask Andy because Big fan of of his podcast the three guys together.
[SPEAKER_06]: That'll be an excellent show that night [SPEAKER_06]: I'm actually really looking forward to that next up in the news here the 9th Circuit support size. [SPEAKER_06]: And appeals courts on Wednesday, blocked California from requiring federal immigration agents to display identification during operations handing the Trump administration a legal victory over
[SPEAKER_06]: Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, a three-day judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, found California overstepped its authority by trying to regulate like Warren G, ICE. [SPEAKER_06]: agents marking the last, excuse me, the latest flash points in a broader fight between blue states and the federal government over immigration enforcement operations. [SPEAKER_06]: The panel judges compromising, I'm sorry, comprising, she's a surprise, we're almost comprising.
[SPEAKER_06]: of two Trump appointees and one of Obama's appointees found California, no vigilantes act violated the Constitution's supremacy clause, which says that when a state and federal law or in conflict, the latter wins out.
[SPEAKER_06]: Um, their exact quote was, uh, we conclude that section 10 of the no vigilantes act attempts to directly regulate the United States and its performance of government functions, the panel wrote in an order and, uh, Trump's ice agents need to be, uh, rained in and held to the same standards as any other law enforcement agency said new some in a statement right after that, uh, that fucking guy, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, look, he's getting killed left and right here as of late, especially for his wife and everything else. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm actually stunned by this. [SPEAKER_06]: That night's circuit, nothing ever goes through for a Republican. [SPEAKER_06]: So that one was a shocker to me. [SPEAKER_06]: What was the law that was conflicting there? [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what this no vigilante is act is.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: And that is a, I mean, it's a violation of the supremacy class. [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: So, um, Article two, and, and it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it
[SPEAKER_04]: expanded upon in other places but the executive has the power to to govern the country and to run the executive branches to take functions even those granted to the Congress and Article 1 that have been created into an executive agency and perform executive functions right to to be the executive of the country. [SPEAKER_04]: Border Patrol is clearly one of those [SPEAKER_04]: even defining citizenship to some degree. [SPEAKER_04]: But at least, and enforcing it, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: So unless there are some specific federal law preventing ice from doing what it's doing, then local jurisdictions have no right in any way, actually, to stop them from doing it. [SPEAKER_04]: That's just how it is. [SPEAKER_06]: But I know you're not a fan of that, right? [SPEAKER_06]: You say that they shouldn't be wearing mask. [SPEAKER_04]: That's right, yeah, I don't think so. [SPEAKER_04]: This is why I'd like process a procedure matter.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's a way to do things. [SPEAKER_04]: The same argument I had for the abortion thing, right? [SPEAKER_04]: That was bad case law. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not right. [SPEAKER_04]: If states wanted to side that law, they can decide that law. [SPEAKER_04]: I think abortions wrong, I think it's bad. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think people should do it, but I'm not here to let it just sleep morality either. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that's appropriate.
[SPEAKER_04]: things as to drive outcomes by incentivizing and not by criminalizing behavior. [SPEAKER_04]: So this is why process really matters. [SPEAKER_04]: It might be true in principle what California is saying. [SPEAKER_04]: but it's not true in our Constitution and that's what fucking, that's the law here, right? [SPEAKER_04]: So there's a way to do this. [SPEAKER_04]: What they should do is form a pack or something and put pressure on federal politicians to pass legislation.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's how you do that. [SPEAKER_04]: This has to be handled at the federal level because it is in the federal jurisdiction. [SPEAKER_04]: Things that belong to the states, belong to the states, things that belong to the federal government, belong to the federal government.
[SPEAKER_04]: If a state tried to pass some law, [SPEAKER_04]: That uniform members of the military weren't allowed to do XYZ or whatever on post like shut the fuck up got no jurisdiction there and the same thing is true here Yeah, but right now We're in a weird period man where the states are trying to grab federal rights Some of those things get reversed.
[SPEAKER_06]: We'll talk about that's Virginia thing and in the back had lady and all that other shit as far as the redistricting and all that other shit like it feels like [SPEAKER_06]: It's, it feels like this great divide where states are literally against Trump and saying fuck you and, you know, everything that you're doing here and we're going to do our best to fucking stop you from doing whatever it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know that they care about the Constitution anymore because right now it feels like if they don't like it, they're going to fight back against it, they'll find some shit bird judge who will approve it and then they want to drive this to the Supreme Court so that it will go on for two to three years. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, and that feels like it's happening more and more and more over and over and over again with every state to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, sure, but that's, you know, that's the reason we have a court system. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, dude, we're talking about the the night circuit right now. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you know, do you have any context for what that means? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, is the night circuit's San Francisco? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It is it is the by far the most activist and liberal version of a district court of an appeals court that exists.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's why that's why it's done between but between reversal rates. [SPEAKER_04]: When their cases get elevated to the Supreme Court, 70 to 90 percent of the time depending on the time period talking about going back for the last let's say 20 years, about 80 percent of the time.
[SPEAKER_04]: they get their cases get reversed, they have the highest reversal rate by far, no, no other appeals courtes even close to them because they're super liberal and super activist and still this very obvious violation of the supremacy clause they ruled in the right way, right? [SPEAKER_04]: So we have a court system for a reason. [SPEAKER_06]: I guess, I mean, I'm stunned by it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, how many times in the show over the last 11 years where I've said the phrase, [SPEAKER_06]: Let me guess, it was the 9th circuit again, and then it's always the fucking 9th circuits. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, when I was in the Homeland Security, that's where I worked, and we would not prosecute certain cases because if we did, the 9th circuit would create bad case law. [SPEAKER_04]: So we would just not prosecute a middle.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, because once that case saw is in effect, then you can bring it up and on, you know, other trials and all that other shit and sighted shit. [SPEAKER_06]: It happened to me once, man. [SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, there's no fucking way you let that slide. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I'm not going to say where it is, because I'm an A and A's and all that other shit after the settlement, but like, I was like, that's the worst fucking case lie I've ever heard.
[SPEAKER_06]: It was over copyright, um, but, you know, now it's [SPEAKER_06]: into a fact and you could do whatever you want with it because once it's on the books it's on the books and if you can cite it you can cite it and it's tough to go back and change so I understand that it's just all shitty man in the politics or shitty however they might be turning in California.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... which will get us into our next story here uh... california debate was last night where all the top candidates took center stage because the primaries for governor uh... are voted on in June now after last night's debates uh... not sure that you watch them down you were probably doing i don't know anything else besides watching that fucking thing last night uh... but
[SPEAKER_06]: There was a prediction that you had made, maybe two weeks ago on the show that they were that Katie Porter will drop out of this somehow magically before the vote in June. [SPEAKER_06]: Sure enough after her performance last night, they said, hey, Democrats are trying to force this woman out to get that Bacera guy in there because Steve Hilton did pretty well, Chad Bianco did pretty well. [SPEAKER_06]: And California is one of those odd states.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... besides all the other bullshit where it's just the top two candidates and there's a very good shot uh... and potentially a likelihood that it might need to republican candidates he might get a republican governor which would be a huge embarrassment for gabanoo some especially as he continues this never-ending run for president twenty twenty eight for no reason although he still the governor [SPEAKER_06]: of California, until January.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, Katie Porter, if you look up the word Karen in the dictionary, it'll be the exact height, weight, and haircuts. [SPEAKER_06]: Bob, let's go through some of her hits, last night's, to prove Dan's point here of what they're trying to get her out.
[SPEAKER_06]: You can play that first clip that I sent you in regards to what to tell parents about if your kid thinks they're [SPEAKER_16]: or Toby from Costa Mesa wants to know, do you agree with schools not notify parents if they're child identifies as a different gender? [SPEAKER_16]: You have 30 seconds. [SPEAKER_12]: is between a parent and a child when a child chooses to have that conversation.
[SPEAKER_12]: The job of our educators is to teach them to read by third grade that is a really important benchmark to help them make the jump from algebra 1 to algebra 2, which opens the door to higher paying jobs. [SPEAKER_12]: These are conversations for kids and parents to have with each other and their healthcare providers. [SPEAKER_12]: This is not a role for schools to be policing personal decisions.
[SPEAKER_16]: Ms. Porter, thank you, Mr. Mayhand, Ms. [SPEAKER_06]: So, let's start with that one, Dan, and try to unpack this. [SPEAKER_06]: That is fuck-tard crazy, man. [SPEAKER_06]: If a school was hiding that from me from one of my kids as a parent, I would lose my goddamn mind.
[SPEAKER_06]: And the fact that she danced around it, we already know what the answer's gonna be there, because, [SPEAKER_06]: Apparently, that's what they love in that state, but my God, dude, I understand why the Democrats want her out of there. [SPEAKER_06]: Why is this such a a sticking point? [SPEAKER_06]: This is what I can't figure out with a question like this last night. [SPEAKER_06]: Why do Democrats refuse to answer this question?
[SPEAKER_06]: Gavin Newsom was the same way when he was on, I want to say it was Sean Ryan's podcast or somebody else's. [SPEAKER_06]: Why do Democrats refuse to answer this question when [SPEAKER_06]: One, we all know, common sense that kids don't know what the fuck they're doing at that age and they're not going to change their own gender on their own and not inform the parents about what they're saying at school to their teachers.
[SPEAKER_06]: But also, it's not a big enough base voting wise to give a shit about this. [SPEAKER_04]: So why is this such a huge sticking point? [SPEAKER_04]: Until like 1950, the word gender wasn't even used, or if it was used, it was synonymous with the word sex. [SPEAKER_04]: This is a dude named John Money, who started introducing the concept of gender role in gender identity. [SPEAKER_04]: He was a fucking Marxist, Simone, Dave Wolf-Warr, and the second sex.
[SPEAKER_04]: Famously wrote one is not born but becomes a woman. [SPEAKER_04]: It's just postmodernist dribble. [SPEAKER_04]: Thinkers like Michelle Foucco and Judith Butler and all of these fucking assholes were postmodernists. [SPEAKER_04]: right and they try to use tricks of language to replace stable structures of independent interpretation with a constructivist worldview and as a result, the reality.
[SPEAKER_04]: of life dissolved under our feet and all these people that are talking about fucking queer theory and gender theory and all this race hustling bullshit, all of it is about taking control of the definition of things. [SPEAKER_04]: They can't win on an even playing field and it stems from the Frankfurt School. [SPEAKER_04]: These assholes couldn't, they were reflecting on why Marxism failed.
[SPEAKER_04]: And they were like, the reason Marxism failed is because capitalism is too successful. [SPEAKER_04]: It gives people too many creature comforts. [SPEAKER_04]: So they're not going to surrender all of their property and all of their will and all of their all of their agency to the state, to administer back to them, right? [SPEAKER_04]: So here's what we have to do. [SPEAKER_04]: We have to eliminate the idea of reality. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what postmodernism really is.
[SPEAKER_04]: They started to challenge what a human being is. [SPEAKER_04]: But the reality is that reality exists independent of our perception. [SPEAKER_04]: The human body is not incidental to identity. [SPEAKER_04]: If you think about platonic forms, like Plato talking about forms, you see a thing and you know that it's for something, right? [SPEAKER_04]: that you can tell by the way the thing, you can tell, you can look at a man and say, that's somebody who's designed to be violent, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody who's designed to lift everything or do whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: You look at a woman that's somebody who's there to nurture. [SPEAKER_04]: She's got fucking big titties, right? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm being paraphrasing, obviously. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But this constructivism bullshit is what led to this thought. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's captured more, so people often say, it's like less than 1% of people are trans why are we talking about this shit?
[SPEAKER_04]: That's why, because even the trans thing itself, not even less than 1% like five people are actually transgender. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not even a percentage. [SPEAKER_04]: And people are constantly talking about it because it is a Marxist infiltration of our fucking society. [SPEAKER_04]: That's literally the only reason.
[SPEAKER_06]: But it's like 0.008 of the population in I think the United States let alone California I just don't understand why this is the the hill you want to die on here when it it's not going to affect the votes uh... to be honest that i don't think um... even for democrats for crisis uh... go to the next clip bob on twitter um... because she's just getting buried
[SPEAKER_06]: after this was over last nights and I'm real curious to see what happens here with her in the next let's call it two months now actually shit you're about 45 days out from this this thing which one from Katie Porter herself yeah I go to or Eric Dottry or Linden no no go to uh go to Eric Dottry no okay over that is [SPEAKER_03]: I'm a notoriously tough grader, but I would probably give him a B on homelessness.
[SPEAKER_12]: I don't think this has been a problem to solve, but I do give him a lot of credit for calling attention to the problem. [SPEAKER_12]: When he campaigned eight years ago, he was talking about housing when nobody else was. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, by the way, I'd love to be in your class, Katie, if you get a B for Gavin, you [SPEAKER_06]: That guy was on fire last night as Steve Hilton guy. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know much about him, but he was pretty fucking funny.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then go to the one from Katie Porter's self, because she actually posted this clip, which was surprising to me. [SPEAKER_06]: Very odd here. [SPEAKER_06]: She's an odd bird herself, but whatever, press play. [SPEAKER_12]: You were in my class, Mr. Health and you would learn in my bankruptcy and consumer protection class that the majority of homeless people in California are actually working.
[SPEAKER_12]: They're not just people on the streets, it's not just people with mental illness or people with drug or substance use problems, it's also people families who are fleeing intimate partner and domestic violence, it's people who are double and tripled up, it's people who are living in their cars and our college campuses.
[SPEAKER_12]: Homelessness comes in a lot of different forms that if we don't see the whole problem, if we demonize them from one perspective, we'll never be able to solve this problem. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so by posting that on your own Twitter last night, that these homeless people are sleeping in their own cars on our college campuses and our own students. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they're not homeless if they're sleeping in the car, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: No, well, that's one, two, that makes me immediately not wanna send my kid to any fucking school in California. [SPEAKER_06]: What the fuck?
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I was already, [SPEAKER_06]: I was already there, but yeah, I was already there as well friend, but she's she's she's she's just a fucking dumb dumb yeah And then the last one press press play on this last one here, and this is in regards to People being able to speak English in order to get a CDL And this was her response last night
[SPEAKER_12]: I would absolutely fight the Trump administration because the job of the California governor is to protect Californians and right now that includes protecting them from Donald Trump. [SPEAKER_12]: Protecting Californians also includes enforcing traffic laws, and we've seen sometimes a need for oversight in California, for example, [SPEAKER_12]: We have seen that the Department of Motor Vehicles was not enforcing rules around DUIs and drivers who had convictions for that.
[SPEAKER_12]: I am stunned that Mr. Bianco would say to block and brown Californians and immigrants who are being terrorized and racially profiled that you have to get over racism. [SPEAKER_12]: It's not something that you get over. [SPEAKER_12]: It's something that you fight. [SPEAKER_12]: And if he doesn't understand the importance of that, he has no business representing a state with the diversity of California. [SPEAKER_03]: Ms. Porter, thank you very much, Mr. Bianco.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll give you 15 seconds to respond. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, again, that's not even close to what I said. [SPEAKER_01]: What I said is we're Californians, and I'm speaking for them, especially from law enforcement, when I deal with persons of color every single day, Californians are absolutely second tired of our politicians, making race the basis of everything. [SPEAKER_01]: It is not.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this racial divide that they are pushing between law enforcement and the public or Democrat and Republican, absolutely has to stop. [SPEAKER_01]: We are sick of it. [SPEAKER_06]: So, look, Dan, hopefully Californians are sick of it, but I said this earlier on Ross Patterson Revolution, Spencer Pratt is really fucking gaining steam in the polls for mayor of Los Angeles. [SPEAKER_06]: There's a decent shot after last night. [SPEAKER_06]: You might have two Republicans in there.
[SPEAKER_06]: The guy that they want to shove her out of the way for is this Mexican dude, the Spacera guy. [SPEAKER_06]: He was pretty much boring and invisible last night. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't see much of a shot for him to win here. [SPEAKER_06]: This California fucked. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I was going to say this is this California actually going to turn the page finally. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't know about all that. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see.
[SPEAKER_04]: But it wasn't it was not a good sign that styre didn't rise meteorically and popularity, at least in the near term polling after, uh, swallow dropped out because that's what you hope for, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Like if you've got a guy and styre's their guy, that's the one they want.
[SPEAKER_04]: And you got a guy and then some other random dick hole that doesn't have a personality at all, not that styre does, but that doesn't have name ID gains all the fucking swallow votes at the swallow leaves. [SPEAKER_04]: That's not a good sign. [SPEAKER_06]: No, it was very odd, and last night's, he was quiet. [SPEAKER_06]: He didn't engage in the conversation and he didn't make himself stand out at all, so he did himself know favors.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then lastly, Bob, go to the last clip here of Katie Porter, and you can scroll through to a minute and 19 seconds. [SPEAKER_06]: Let's not forget this infamous clip of her, because this is who she really is at heart. [SPEAKER_06]: And it's like, look, we all know that Katie. [SPEAKER_06]: We all fucking know. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'll get about a minute, night scene. [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_12]: That we're going to lose more than half a million Californians dying prematurely to air pollution and other problems and the state could lose. [SPEAKER_12]: Out of my fucking shop. [SPEAKER_14]: and vehicles, it's that, if you don't need to commit this, I do have a couple of hours of time or four. [SPEAKER_12]: Okay, it does, okay, you also were in my shop before that. [SPEAKER_12]: Stay out of my shop.
[SPEAKER_12]: Okay, I'm going to start again with electric vehicles saving us money. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh god, I love it dude. [SPEAKER_06]: It's an actor. [SPEAKER_06]: It's just an actor of there. [SPEAKER_06]: And she knows when to start, restart everything else. [SPEAKER_06]: And that's who she really is. [SPEAKER_06]: She is the final boss. [SPEAKER_06]: She's the final Karen and that's it.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I think I think after last night, she's personally done here and then California is done with her. [SPEAKER_06]: But [SPEAKER_06]: We'll see your prediction might come true here because everybody this morning's saying we got to get this fucking lady out of the race, so we're fucked. [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, it was interesting. [SPEAKER_06]: Bianca and Hilton came off the most likable last night, by the way.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's he's a media personality, of course he did British funny quicky. [SPEAKER_06]: He had all the things all the answers and he's rich So he doesn't really care. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's it's kind of like a British version of Trump and maybe that's what California needs right now [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm interested to see what happens in this race. [SPEAKER_06]: Shit, we might even have to go live for that in June.
[SPEAKER_06]: That might be our first show back in, what do we, We're, I think we're on air June first in Wilmington.
[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, June, June seconds when, [SPEAKER_06]: The primary is I'd go live for that for sure just to see what happens there next up Sponsor wise god or friends over at acre fucking love acre all right this one came for my kids Look here's a question what are you doing with 30 bucks a month right now probably nothing [SPEAKER_06]: You remember in six months or a year, gaker gold that you turn that into real gold. [SPEAKER_06]: You pick a plan, your balance builds every month.
[SPEAKER_06]: And when it hits the price of the bar, they ship you a 24-carot Swiss gold bar. [SPEAKER_06]: Real gold in your hand at your house. [SPEAKER_06]: And over time, you're sitting on something that's been valuable since the dawn of civilization. [SPEAKER_06]: Now here's where my kids came to get me involved in this. [SPEAKER_06]: So they just released their extremely limited edition hot wheels collection. [SPEAKER_06]: Only 3,500 bars are made and they're moving fast.
[SPEAKER_06]: Both my kids asked for this. [SPEAKER_06]: Apparently other kids had this at school and I was like When he came when when Josh came home and told me this and he was just like, hey dad, I want I want this gold bar. [SPEAKER_06]: I was like, what?
[SPEAKER_06]: what do you mean when a gold bar is like oh there's ones with hot wheels on it or whatever and I'm like okay cool so I looked it up and it's this company called ager gold and uh and I was like oh all right because like when you look at the price of this um you're like shit yeah that's a real goddamn gold bar but they put you on a plan where it's 30 bucks a month and then they actually ship it to you and then it's melted into the gold bar so they actually paired up with motel
[SPEAKER_06]: This is licensed with those guys in conjunction with it and whatever, and it's kind of to teach kids about money, savings, and what to do with it, and what she could potentially do with it. [SPEAKER_06]: Also, the only main is certain amount of these, so it's a limited edition. [SPEAKER_06]: She's going to be worth a lot more in the future, and I bought two of them, about one for Jack Sandjager, both my boys, and yeah, 30 bucks a month, that's it.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's real, like shit. [SPEAKER_06]: I see the charge on my card. [SPEAKER_06]: It's it's on autopay and while you're waiting for it to as soon as you hit the number, boom, they just ship it to you. [SPEAKER_06]: So while you're checking them out, claim your free entry to the speed club sweepstakes, 11 grams of 24 karat gold in hot wheels, collector packaging officially licensed by Mattel.
[SPEAKER_06]: That is up for grabs, stat gold for $30 per month and enter to win at getacreGold.com slash db That is getacreGold.com slash db. [SPEAKER_06]: Subscribe today. [SPEAKER_06]: Not only is it super easy, but shit. [SPEAKER_06]: I did it in under two minutes for each kit.
[SPEAKER_06]: And it's just 30 bucks a month and then as soon as I hit the mark boom, they just send it right to your house How many are left Bob of those it was like 470 yeah, but that was the other day how much is it now? [SPEAKER_07]: It's the same look. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna hold you this Bob 433 [SPEAKER_06]: liar. [SPEAKER_06]: Why would you lie on air like that? [SPEAKER_06]: That's 37 more of already sold for Christ's sex, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and once they're gone, they're gone.
[SPEAKER_06]: But I'm a big fan of it. [SPEAKER_06]: And anything that teaches kids the value of money, gold, commodities, all that other stuff, like even better. [SPEAKER_06]: And it's cool that they at least took an interest in it. [SPEAKER_06]: It was my sixth grader initially. [SPEAKER_06]: So I reached out to acre gold, shout out for doing the show and everything else, man, because
[SPEAKER_06]: Trump orders lethal action president Trump said there's a he's order the U.S. Navy to take lethal action against Iranian vessels attempting to lay mines in the straight of Hormuz escalating tensions despite a fragile ceasefire with Tehran. [SPEAKER_06]: I've ordered the United States Navy to shoot and kill any boat, small boats, though they may be, that is putting mines in the waters of the straight of Hormuz. [SPEAKER_06]: Trump wrote on true social, there is to be no hesitation.
[SPEAKER_06]: He said, additionally, our mines sweepers are clearing the straights right now. [SPEAKER_06]: I am here by ordering that activity to continue, but at a tripled up level. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, forgive me, I don't know what a mind sweeper is. [SPEAKER_06]: Do you know what that is? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's a game that used to be on computers back in the day where you click at the squares and if there's, um, a number, it tells you how many of the other squares touching it are bombs.
[SPEAKER_04]: So if it's a one, there's only one square touching is a bomb. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, perfect. [SPEAKER_06]: Perfect. [SPEAKER_04]: Who has this job and who's in control of it? [SPEAKER_04]: Is this like well any and the army we call it rout clearance And you just drive around trying to get blown up basically fucking sucks now you in the in the water They have detectors and stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: I've got to be honest.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not convinced there are any minds [SPEAKER_04]: Bob, correct me if I'm wrong, but this has been going on two months now. [SPEAKER_04]: We haven't seen, there hasn't been a single mine hit by anybody yet, right? [SPEAKER_04]: No, no. [SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm not, I think that might have just been, not that they wouldn't do it. [SPEAKER_04]: I just, where's the evidence?
[SPEAKER_04]: We haven't seen any mines collected or dead or demoed or certainly not have hit any vessels. [SPEAKER_04]: Do they even exist? [SPEAKER_04]: But still, the threat is real and commercial activities won't commence. [SPEAKER_04]: And in certain parts of that water, unless they're de-mind, whether there's mines there or not. [SPEAKER_04]: So that's something that's got to happen. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, Trump is doing what he normally does. [SPEAKER_04]: And making two demands at once.
[SPEAKER_04]: One, we're clearing the mines, two, if you come near us, we'll fucking kill you, basically, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And this is like, this is something that can be done while this ceasefire is going on, right? [SPEAKER_04]: we can do what appears to be a defensive action and if they attack us, then there's a one's break in the ceasefire and we can light them up.
[SPEAKER_04]: So it might be bait, I don't know, it might be bait so we can hit some things as Tehran decides who they're gonna become. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I don't know who's in control over there. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if any of the shit is true and to your point, [SPEAKER_06]: So far, none of the boats have exploded or nobody has hit a mine or anything else, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: And that's the one thing I hate about this Iran situation is we don't really know who's in control, who's making these threats, who's making these fucking statements. [SPEAKER_06]: And I wish there was one guy that you could deal with, who is [SPEAKER_06]: Kind of sane, uh, but I don't know how that shakes out over there. [SPEAKER_06]: The bitch of it is the longer this goes on. [SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, it's not great. [SPEAKER_06]: Now gas prices have drops here.
[SPEAKER_06]: You're in North Carolina currently. [SPEAKER_06]: How are they there? [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't been paying attention. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, crude oil is up, but the US is producing and exporting more oil than it ever has in its history right now. [SPEAKER_04]: It's up like 800% since the the spring of 2022 actually.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, because here it's not about 65 cents You know, I filled up a couple different times which is a lot just within the last I would say four to five days I usually fill up every I don't know four five days and Something's going on so I don't know whether it's what's happening in Iran or whether or not we're we're just producing more or whatever it is [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if Americans will really get a shit about Iran as long as the gas prices are fine.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I know that sounds like a fucked up thing to say, but it's true. [SPEAKER_04]: No, I wouldn't, I mean, yeah, you don't, you want, I mean, those are both concerns. [SPEAKER_04]: Just because Iran is a threat and we need to fucking handle them doesn't mean that life doesn't go on here, right, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if you're like, [SPEAKER_04]: If your, uh, uh, if the bathtub is filling up in your chart and your baby is in the water and you hear a noise outside, you got a fucking tin to the baby first before you can go deal with the noise outside. [SPEAKER_04]: That's how it works. [SPEAKER_04]: So that's a, I think that's a reasonable complaint that people have.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think the better way to say it is that if [SPEAKER_04]: Things domestically, we're going the way they're supposed to be going, not the people would care less about Iran, but they would be more supportive of it generally, because it is good what we're doing it, frankly. [SPEAKER_04]: So I think that's probably the better way to say it, but yeah, you're, I mean, the principles correct.
[SPEAKER_04]: Politico reported Thursday that British military divers are preparing to carry out some mind clearing procedures around there potentially with a multinational effort. [SPEAKER_04]: I think maybe France is helping out with that. [SPEAKER_04]: TBD on that, I don't know what capabilities they have. [SPEAKER_04]: The British Navy has been pretty good through the years.
[SPEAKER_04]: The French Navy has been pretty good through the years, so they might have some stuff that's a little bit closer to the area in that regard. [SPEAKER_04]: Then if ours are back in the U.S. or South China Sea or something like that, and we've got they have stuff here, we should welcome them coming in to help out with that problem. [SPEAKER_04]: I think even though they've been fucking pretty derelict so far.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, the French are really good at giving up pretty quickly, so I think if you send them down first, they would pop up out of the water and just kind of wave their arms and then swim away. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't know if you can surrender to a fucking mine. [SPEAKER_06]: I think you can, yeah, you got to swim up to the top as fast as you can to get out of there and let everybody else know that there's actual work to be done.
[SPEAKER_06]: So I think they'd be really good at that. [SPEAKER_06]: Also, let's face it. [SPEAKER_06]: France has the best mimes on the planet as well. [SPEAKER_06]: So if they did pop out of the water, you would be able to see it from the deck of the boat and they would kind of be able to describe it in a mime situation, you know, kind of, hey, let's get some rope and kind of pull this thing out of there.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, maybe and I'm just spitballing here about what they're good at but look as long as gas prices are down and we don't hear too much bitching about this [SPEAKER_06]: I think this this situation will be fine, although I would love to get the fuck out of there. [SPEAKER_06]: I just I don't know how you do it because all the reports that I'm seeing and I don't know if you feel the same way on Twitter are coming out of these or Twitter everybody else.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know these newspapers and Iran whether or not they're real or not. [SPEAKER_06]: That's my that's the thing that I struggle with the most.
[SPEAKER_06]: So it's like who is Trump responding to specifically who's the fucking guy right now because the gay kid [SPEAKER_04]: uh... is in a coma missing a leg and that's the the one that's supposed to be taking power so i mean it's on him the rumor behind the scenes is that the uh... the mullas have been pushed out of power and it's all i rgc military running the show right now which could be good at right and it will will see tbd on that the mullas are going to be
[SPEAKER_04]: more, certainly, an older, a much older man who's ever legit sell it is going to be more inclined to just go down with the ship than somebody who's in their 40s or 50s is. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: So I think that people have been reporting that as some kind of negative thing. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that I consider that negative. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, again, it's the Middle East and it's poor in policy.
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's always we'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: But it'll be interesting to see how that develops. [SPEAKER_04]: I think there's always risk and opportunities when you do stuff like that. [SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I think, [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to, I think it's from Trump's perspective, if we're negotiating with somebody who can't follow through on what they're sitting, they can do. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't give a fuck about them messaging differently in public than they do in private.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care about that because that's how that process works. [SPEAKER_04]: You say, in private, you're having a decent conversation, and then when you go back to your respective corners, like, yeah, that guy's a fucking asshole. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm never going to talk to him again, and then you're talking right back, talking to him.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: If I'm constantly in the go, like, look, if I was trying to do a business deal with somebody and they keep saying, oh, yeah, I'll get, I'll, I can do this for it and they go like, hey, I talked to my board, I can't do this. [SPEAKER_04]: At some point, I'm like, well, you guys, you're fucking nobody. [SPEAKER_04]: You're a fucking P on. [SPEAKER_04]: I need to talk to somebody that's in fucking charge, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And I think we're getting to that point here pretty soon. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, any truth to the rumors that shadow forces involved? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope so. [SPEAKER_04]: They've got the black Parades, but they ran out of those little glasses. [SPEAKER_04]: So I think maybe there is a logistical issue. [SPEAKER_06]: I've got our Instagram on Dringham Rose podcast Instagram. [SPEAKER_06]: I posted this guy last night.
[SPEAKER_06]: I went, I went to a rabbit hole of his dude's videos. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm a big fan of his. [SPEAKER_06]: The amount of responses though asking if this was real was mind-altering. [SPEAKER_06]: Press play on this clip. [SPEAKER_02]: He seals the most elite fighting force? [SPEAKER_02]: Not even close. [SPEAKER_02]: Shadow Force. [SPEAKER_02]: Shadow Force, what is Shadow Force?
[SPEAKER_02]: Basically, whenever you have maybe sealed guys or Delta guys that lost a stock or something, you send Shadow Force into the suit. [SPEAKER_02]: And the way you identify Shadow Force, whack away. [SPEAKER_02]: So you're part of Shadow Force? [SPEAKER_11]: It was a lot of comments on our Instagram last night of late. [SPEAKER_06]: It was a lot of comments on our Instagram last night of late. [SPEAKER_06]: It's like a ray. [SPEAKER_06]: That's not really a pocket bolt.
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course it's bullshit. [SPEAKER_06]: The guy's a comedian and it was very, very funny. [SPEAKER_06]: But there was like, I don't know, a thousand comments. [SPEAKER_06]: I was like, oh, he shit. [SPEAKER_06]: Dude, that's crazy. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Pretty funny.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a gigantic fan of this company dude and you're starting to see it with celebrities [SPEAKER_06]: You know, Rogan and other podcasts and all that other stuff, but it really is worth the hype. [SPEAKER_06]: Like the hype is real with Montana Night Company, and all of it lasts forever.

[SPEAKER_06]: Next up, Virginia, redistricting, struck down, that didn't take very long. [SPEAKER_06]: A congressional map approved by Virginia voters that aims to help Democrats net for U.S. House seats in November's midterm faces another legal hurdle just one day after its passage.
[SPEAKER_06]: A judge in rural southern Virginia on Wednesday ordered that the results of Tuesday's votes might not be certified on several grounds, including that state lawmakers did not follow their own rules and passing the redistricting referendum. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Tazwell or Tazwell County, uh, Circuit Judge Court, Judge, uh, Jack Hurley. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a fun name.
[SPEAKER_06]: Also called, uh, the ballot language put to voters flagrantly misleading, hurley barred, uh, state election officials from modifying election district, uh, or proceeding with the new maps. [SPEAKER_06]: Now, let me ask you this, Dan, how long is this one going to last? [SPEAKER_06]: Because I feel like every time Trump or the Republicans make something, some other judge shoots it down. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a little different because it's a judge in Virginia.
[SPEAKER_06]: What's going to happen with this? [SPEAKER_04]: This will be his ruling will be struck down in reverse by the Supreme Court on Monday. [SPEAKER_06]: So Virginia will have the right to add these seats. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is, this is frivolous. [SPEAKER_04]: His, his, his, his, uh, his, and junction doesn't make any sense. [SPEAKER_04]: It says that the language was confusing. [SPEAKER_04]: It was not confusing. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, sorry.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's, it's, it's just not true. [SPEAKER_04]: He also this, this guy's, um, uh, an activist judge in a deep red county, and he's done this once before and immediately got overturned. [SPEAKER_04]: He's the right wing Boseburg in Virginia. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, it's not that I agree or disagree with the decision itself, but he went about it in the wrong way. [SPEAKER_04]: Republicans lost the vote there. [SPEAKER_04]: That's how it works.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is our system of government. [SPEAKER_04]: A judge cannot go out looking for cases to overturn. [SPEAKER_04]: This is not how it's supposed to work. [SPEAKER_06]: Gotcha. [SPEAKER_06]: So Bob, check your Twitter DMs here. [SPEAKER_06]: Let's pull up this map of Virginia. [SPEAKER_06]: Have you seen this color coded map, Dan? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, look, it isn't to say that they're not doing stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: and a way that might be this tasteful I guess a son of legal jerry manners not a legal um... there's a fucking uh... [SPEAKER_04]: Florida has the opportunity to add 10 seats right now. [SPEAKER_04]: And they're about to call a special session. [SPEAKER_04]: I believe on Tuesday next week to maybe start that price. [SPEAKER_04]: What I've heard, I don't know if they're going to go through it yet or not, or if they got other stuff going on. [SPEAKER_04]: But they are working on it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got a clip for you here right after this. [SPEAKER_06]: But this is what we're going to be going through in every single state now. [SPEAKER_06]: Because [SPEAKER_06]: If you're looking at it, it was six to five last time, and what am I missing here? [SPEAKER_04]: Well, this is, here's the issue. [SPEAKER_04]: This, this battle measure that they just put up is not, that's not the problem. [SPEAKER_04]: This should be struck down, but for completely different reasons.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think Nick Freightos actually did a whole bit on this on Twitter yesterday. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: The, the people of Virginia voted. [SPEAKER_04]: 65, 35 to outsource their redistricting to a non-governmental agency to somebody that has nothing that's not an elected official. [SPEAKER_04]: Not what just happened, right? [SPEAKER_04]: The government did this and they passed this, they put this new thing on the ballot to get it passed.
[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe who cares that the language is confusing or not? [SPEAKER_04]: Sure job to know what the fuck you're voting for. [SPEAKER_04]: But you're basically using a ballot measure to overturn what was a 65% victory, which is essentially a constitutional amendment at that point. [SPEAKER_04]: That's the issue. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it will eventually get struck down because of that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think, well, at least there's a good possibility for it depending on what the Virginia Supreme Court does. [SPEAKER_04]: The Virginia Supreme Court has been, [SPEAKER_04]: very very consistent in maintaining common law and precedent. [SPEAKER_04]: As much as any state Supreme Court in the country, they've been very strict on that sort of stuff regardless of how liberal the state's gotten.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't think I think they broke [SPEAKER_04]: Some rules to get the vote in, that might be a problem, but this case was decided on by guy that didn't know what he was doing. [SPEAKER_04]: He's just an activist right-wing judge, so it's gonna immediately get over turn, which kind of waste time to be honest. [SPEAKER_04]: That's why you wanna do things the fucking right way.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but when we went through this redistricting thing in North Carolina, this is what I hate is I think it's a fucking cop out, which That's exactly what it is is they hired these firms that are out of states to say, oh, hey, we're going to bring in from somebody from out of states is going to be a fair and honest process. [SPEAKER_06]: They got no influence.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... here in your county your district and all that other stuff but my issue with it was and i said this on air back in what was a twenty nineteen twenty twenty was you don't know my fucking district you don't know one single neighborhood you don't know anything about our district and it was this uh... firm out of a high of that i track down and i said i know i know exactly where the fuck you are and i go you know nothing about where i live [SPEAKER_06]: Same with your town.
[SPEAKER_06]: I go, you've got one light in your goddamn town. [SPEAKER_06]: So like don't tell me about what your town is going through and then come down to mine and make decisions for a place that you don't fucking live and you don't fucking know about. [SPEAKER_06]: I hate shit like that. [SPEAKER_06]: Now, if the judge isn't correct, the judge isn't correct and he should know fucking case law, obviously.
[SPEAKER_06]: But as far as this redistricting bullshit, [SPEAKER_06]: This is going to happen in every single state unless the Supreme Court gets involved. [SPEAKER_06]: I guess Bob, go to this clip with Ron DeSantis. [SPEAKER_06]: This is what you're referring to in Florida. [SPEAKER_06]: Immediately after this happened DeSantis got on TV which is like, cool man. [SPEAKER_06]: We got some seats here that we can fucking change next week if you want to. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, press play on this.
[SPEAKER_15]: has compact districts, it's done in a way that makes a lot of sense, and the reality is is if you look at like California, you know they're doing all this dog and pony show there now, saying, oh Texas, we've got to combat Texas. [SPEAKER_15]: California is one of the worst jerry-mandered maps there is, you know what they did. [SPEAKER_15]: This is how they do. [SPEAKER_15]: They're like, no, we're going to do an independent commission. [SPEAKER_15]: So they do a commission.
[SPEAKER_15]: The problem is, it's like if you truly were independent, it's like you would be immune to any type of partisan pressures, but that commission is comprised of liberal Democrats. [SPEAKER_15]: liberal independence and very liberal republicans. [SPEAKER_15]: I think one of the Republicans is from Berkeley, like not exactly a hotbed of conservative and conservativeism. [SPEAKER_15]: It's just, it is what it is.
[SPEAKER_15]: So they hotwire that independent commission to produce a map that was very much gerrymandered and was not something that was fair to Republicans, even at that time. [SPEAKER_15]: Now they're saying they want to do even more. [SPEAKER_15]: by doing whatever they're talking about doing now. [SPEAKER_15]: So don't buy this notion that if someone has a commission, that that somehow means it is immune from this type of partisan pressures.
[SPEAKER_15]: The California one, [SPEAKER_15]: was a left-wing commission. [SPEAKER_15]: That's just the reality. [SPEAKER_15]: That's what they produced. [SPEAKER_15]: That's what they were supposed to do based on who appointed those folks to that commission. [SPEAKER_15]: And so I just think it's better to just have the legislature do it. [SPEAKER_15]: And if you don't like it, you can vote them out. [SPEAKER_15]: You put some commission in like California and then stack it.
[SPEAKER_15]: If you don't like that as a voter, those people will never appear on your ballot. [SPEAKER_15]: But that's exactly what they did there. [SPEAKER_15]: And they've done it in other states as well. [SPEAKER_15]: And then Illinois, [SPEAKER_15]: If you look at Illinois, so Illinois, if Chicago wasn't an Illinois, it would be a red state. [SPEAKER_15]: You know, there's some dots blue, but like most of it is red outside of Illinois.
[SPEAKER_15]: So if you drew compact districts, you know, you'd have probably six in the Chicago that would be like 90, 10 dam, right? [SPEAKER_15]: But then all the other ones would probably be Republican districts, and they didn't want that. [SPEAKER_15]: So what they do is, they go into the city of Chicago. [SPEAKER_06]: And where he's cut off there is kind of what happened in Louisiana, which that case is at the Supreme Court right now, whoever filed that suit, I forget his name.
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you remember his name, Mom? [SPEAKER_07]: No, but he's just playing gerrymandering in every state. [SPEAKER_06]: It works the reverse indexes. [SPEAKER_07]: That makes sure to isolate the cities because that's where most of the democratic voters are. [SPEAKER_07]: It's just what you do. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's just how literally just gerrymandering you carve out the population to your benefit.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Bob. [SPEAKER_06]: Bob Gotto, uh, go to Twitter like the three hours long. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: These districts are like three hours long. [SPEAKER_06]: All the drive them. [SPEAKER_07]: All the maps are insane. [SPEAKER_07]: They're fucking insane. [SPEAKER_06]: All right, let me get this guy. [SPEAKER_06]: Is this Nick? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Welcome. [SPEAKER_06]: Nick was just on the show last week.
[SPEAKER_18]: By the way, this didn't violate the law when they decided to redistrict Oklahoma didn't violate the law when they decided to redistrict Virginia did. [SPEAKER_18]: And here's what I mean by that. [SPEAKER_18]: For those of you who don't know, in Virginia, whenever you try to change the constitution because oh, by the way, in 20, what was it? [SPEAKER_18]: 2020, we voted. [SPEAKER_18]: We voted on a ballot referendum, just like the one that just got voted on.
[SPEAKER_18]: We voted on it to say, we no longer want politicians drawing the lines. [SPEAKER_18]: And 65% of Virginians voted to say we want an independent or a quasi-independent commission to draw the line. [SPEAKER_18]: So that's what we did. [SPEAKER_18]: And the lines that were given to us were lines that probably slightly favored Democrats. [SPEAKER_18]: But overall, we're [SPEAKER_18]: they weren't horrible, they weren't bad, right?
[SPEAKER_18]: And again, it wasn't politicians drawing all the lines. [SPEAKER_18]: And then you fast forward, and now Democrats are saying, no, no, no, now that we're in charge, we want to change it back, and we want to draw the lines, and we want to make Virginia the worst journey-mandered state in the country. [SPEAKER_18]: Well, if you want to do that, you could, and here's what you would have done.
[SPEAKER_18]: During the normal legislative session, you would have submitted a resolution, a joint resolution, in order to offer a ballot referendum,
[SPEAKER_18]: that would have passed the house, it would have passed the Senate, and if it passed both bodies, then what would have happened is you would have had an intervening election, and then after that intervening election, you would have taken the exact same resolution with the exact same language, passed through the house, passed through the Senate, and then it would have gone to a ballot referendum that would have showed up on the ballot in November.
[SPEAKER_18]: That's what would have happened. [SPEAKER_18]: So is that what happened this time? [SPEAKER_18]: No, no, they didn't submit this during regular session. [SPEAKER_18]: They actually call the special session. [SPEAKER_18]: They pulled us back into a special session. [SPEAKER_18]: and they submitted this legislation, this resolution. [SPEAKER_18]: Now, you could argue, okay, is that still within their purview?
[SPEAKER_18]: It would have been shady, but theoretically, yeah, you could have legally justified that, except for the fact that we had already started voting in that intervening election, which is supposed to take place between the resolution, initially passing the legislature, and then being resimitted the following year. [SPEAKER_18]: Over a million Virginians had already voted in the intervening election. [SPEAKER_18]: I'm sorry, that's illegal, that's a violation.
[SPEAKER_18]: It was Democrats that said, we want to have 45 days of early voting. [SPEAKER_18]: Republicans didn't say that, they did. [SPEAKER_18]: And so we pointed out, it's like, okay, but the problem is you're supposed to have an election in between and that election is already started. [SPEAKER_18]: And they just said, no, no, no, it's election day.
[SPEAKER_18]: The whole reason you have an intervening election is so that citizens can be aware of what their legislator is trying to do with respect to changing the constitution and they can let their voices be heard if they don't like it. [SPEAKER_18]: But if a million Virginians have already voted, you arguably have races that have already been decided. [SPEAKER_18]: And so we pointed out, this is a clear violation. [SPEAKER_18]: They didn't care.
[SPEAKER_18]: We also pointed out that it is right there in Virginia law that the clerks of the court have to have 90 days before the intervening election to tell everybody what is going on. [SPEAKER_18]: We were already within 90 days of the election when they decided to pass this, another clear violation of Virginia law. [SPEAKER_18]: And there was other things that were of concern as well.
[SPEAKER_18]: For instance, did you know that when you actually write the ballot question, you're supposed to use politically neutral language? [SPEAKER_18]: You're not supposed to stack the deck in favor of one side of the other side. [SPEAKER_18]: You're simply supposed to explain in very clearly English what your legislation would do. [SPEAKER_18]: But instead they added this, hey, do you want to vote to restore fairness?
[SPEAKER_06]: So let me get the straight everybody who voted no voted against restoring fairness You're not even that is is it is a legal to use that language and yet they did it So with this by the way, Dan, I don't know if you know this or not, but DeSantis said they're they are gonna have a special session next week And then on Monday [SPEAKER_06]: even with this flip and Virginia.
[SPEAKER_06]: That would still net six more seats for the Republicans if they decided to do this next week in Florida. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, plus there's other places that are going to act as well. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see how it goes, but again, the judge who filed this, if he had filed a by the letter, the law says you have to use politically neutral language and you did not confusing, not confusing, use the foot, just do your fucking job.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're gonna go out there and be an activist, at least do the fucking thing right. [SPEAKER_04]: You wasted time and now on Monday, it's gonna be a victory for Democrats. [SPEAKER_04]: They're gonna overturn this shit because you did it wrong. [SPEAKER_04]: And you're gonna look like a fucking asshole. [SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully, they'll get it settled in the end at some point, but I'm not confident to be honest. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see.
[SPEAKER_06]: The Supreme Court is the only one that can settle this. [SPEAKER_06]: If they settle that Louisiana case, then that will be final, and that's it. [SPEAKER_06]: But if they don't do it in June, [SPEAKER_06]: then what is every state just going to go through this and have a special you know committee that uh... returns all this shit over and over and over again this will be what are fifth state this year fourth fourth fifth state [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, here's the thing, though.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's the Republicans have not been doing this at nearly the same rate as the Democrats. [SPEAKER_04]: If they escalate this, the Republicans will win it in the end. [SPEAKER_04]: If they escalate it in this midterm right now, that's a huge mistake. [SPEAKER_04]: Because whatever, like, maybe the Democrats win the house back this time, but if Republicans start going heavy in jerrymandering and the states that haven't done it, they're going to fucking lose.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's no, the math doesn't work for Democrats. [SPEAKER_06]: That's what I don't understand, and I think, look, I think to Santa's, we'll go through this on Monday. [SPEAKER_06]: I think they'll pick up those extra seats, and then another blue state, we'll try to look at their maps and try to change the same thing. [SPEAKER_06]: Now, there was a very famous Democrats who had spoke out against Jerry Mandarin in 2020, Bob, go to your Twitter and play this next clip.
[SPEAKER_06]: But then he changed his mind this year, and I don't know why. [SPEAKER_06]: trying to figure it out here. [SPEAKER_05]: Press play on this. [SPEAKER_05]: 2020's citizens' voices are being diminished. [SPEAKER_05]: By voting yes, you have a chance to do something important. [SPEAKER_05]: Not just for the commonwealth, but for our entire country, even a former president.
[SPEAKER_05]: joining together to end Jerry Mandarin and ensure that our democracy is living up to its founding promise. [SPEAKER_05]: By voting yes, you can push back against the Republicans trying to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterms. [SPEAKER_05]: And we're counting on you to help ensure a reasonable, transparent, redistricting process that honors our ideal of equal representation.
[SPEAKER_06]: Jerry Mandarin, [SPEAKER_06]: So, even Obama himself in 2020 said, hey, this is all bullshit, so whatever, in my opinion, and this just me, because I'm sick of hearing it on both sides, if this Supreme Court does this ruling, it's over. [SPEAKER_06]: So hopefully, this is at the top of their dock at June, because I don't want to go through all 50 states going through this fucking bullshit, which is exactly what's going to happen. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, George is one of them.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, I mean, we'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_06]: You could redraw that entire fucking thing if you wanted to and just base around Atlanta and then stretch it out to fucking Rome if you wanted to. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm trying to find where [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you could isolate it or you could peel off slivers too. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of ways to do it. [SPEAKER_04]: It depends on what the state constitution say about redistricting as well.
[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, concealed carry in North Carolina is fine. [SPEAKER_04]: They have reciprocity with pretty much every. [SPEAKER_04]: They don't have constitutional here yet, although it's in the works. [SPEAKER_04]: Somebody asks in the chat there. [SPEAKER_04]: They North Carolina has reciprocity with pretty much every state that has a shallow issue permit. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, um, there's a 65 35 come from Dan on a surviving comedy for you.
[SPEAKER_04]: The 65 35 was not this last boat. [SPEAKER_04]: It was the one that Nick mentioned back in 2020. [SPEAKER_04]: Is that completely separate vote. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Bob, go to your Twitter again, DMs and pull up this. [SPEAKER_06]: We got some breaking news here. [SPEAKER_06]: This is for everybody who collects cards and sells cards. [SPEAKER_06]: Byron, this is you. [SPEAKER_06]: I saw this earlier.
[SPEAKER_06]: Helen Keller's one of one autographed card just sold for three thousand five hundred fifty one dollars on eBay Why is it fuck am I just hearing about this now? [SPEAKER_06]: It literally was sold today this week and so what hours ago why didn't I know about this days in advance? [SPEAKER_06]: So we could have bit on this goddamn thing. [SPEAKER_06]: That's it 3500 [SPEAKER_08]: It's a cut auto, so they just cut out a piece of paper she signed and placed it in a card.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't give a fuck to how did she spell her name or Helen Keller? [SPEAKER_08]: She didn't sign this, she's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_08]: Like, did sign? [SPEAKER_08]: It doesn't matter because a blind and deaf person didn't exist and didn't do any of the things she did. [SPEAKER_08]: Helen Keller's a fraud. [SPEAKER_06]: This is bullshit, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: That looks like that's her signature right there. [SPEAKER_06]: It's plain as day. [SPEAKER_06]: It's pretty good, dude.
[SPEAKER_06]: That is a, that is a tops, one of one right there. [SPEAKER_06]: I got sold. [SPEAKER_06]: Somebody verified it, who verified it? [SPEAKER_06]: Who gave that certificate of, top authenticity. [SPEAKER_08]: Top says, are you saying tops is liars? [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just saying Helen Keller didn't assign shit. [SPEAKER_08]: She sure did, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't believe it. [SPEAKER_06]: And it looks great. [SPEAKER_06]: I can read it for Christ's sake.
[SPEAKER_06]: God, damn it, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: How was I not aware of this? [SPEAKER_08]: You're a fucking cardhead bro, because it's a random eBay auction that went off today. [SPEAKER_08]: I was a tweet about it earlier. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, it was famous and we should have known, okay? [SPEAKER_06]: I actually showed Rob by the way, Tim. [SPEAKER_06]: I did a goddamn movie on Helen, can I? [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we could have shown you.
[SPEAKER_07]: We could have fucking, I know you could have, I don't know. [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why there was no press for this. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, I did the math here. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so if... [SPEAKER_04]: If all states redistricted in favor of the party, they elected for president in 2024. [SPEAKER_04]: You understand what that means? [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: Everybody that's eligible redistricts in favor of the party, they voted for in 2024.
[SPEAKER_04]: Republicans would have somewhere between 230 and 260 seats in the house. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: as opposed to 2115 or 16 2116 was they they would have a super majority in the house possibly so why not do that then i mean if this is where we're headed with all this bullshit absolutely should i absolutely should this redistricted shit out of it uh... indiana should recall their fucking entire government and redistrict there as well uh... indiana if you recall decided not to uh... they're like oh we don't want to escalate like oh you weren't escalating your responding
[SPEAKER_04]: Massachusetts hasn't had 40% of Massachusetts is Republican 40% voted for Trump zero Members of Congress zero senators zero in the house for 30 years.

[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, it's one of my favorite nights of the year here, and I'm amped about it. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm also amped that my team is not involved, and it's how many picks of the bears have tonight? [SPEAKER_06]: They have two. [SPEAKER_06]: No, just one. [SPEAKER_06]: Just one.
[SPEAKER_06]: Unless they trade it. [SPEAKER_06]: Which I've not seen. [SPEAKER_06]: They're talking about it. [SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of rumors right now. [SPEAKER_06]: We're getting close. [SPEAKER_06]: Can fucking close. [SPEAKER_06]: Bob, can you feel it, dude? [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: You do you have an NFL team, by the way, now the Rams spurns you. [SPEAKER_07]: No, no, I just watch. [SPEAKER_07]: I just kind of kick back and enjoy it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, just check and do it. [SPEAKER_07]: Just check in. [SPEAKER_07]: I do have a soft spot for the bears right now, though. [SPEAKER_07]: because they have Luther Burton. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but I hate Caleb Williams. [SPEAKER_06]: He's good to do that. [SPEAKER_06]: He's not good. [SPEAKER_06]: We'll find out about his nail polish tonight's. [SPEAKER_06]: Next up is weed reclassification as begun.
[SPEAKER_06]: President Donald Trump, the administration is reclassifying state licensed marijuana as a less dangerous drug acting attorney general Todd Blanch announced on Thursday. [SPEAKER_06]: Blanc signed an order reclassifying FDA approved and state license marijuana from schedule one reserved for drugs like heroin to the less strict schedule three. [SPEAKER_06]: The Department of Justice is delivering on President Trump's promise to expand Americans' access to medical treatment options.
[SPEAKER_06]: This rescheduling action allows to research. [SPEAKER_06]: on the safety and efficacy of the substance ultimately providing patients with better care and doctors with more reliable information. [SPEAKER_06]: Blanch noted that the order does not yet apply to marijuana generally, but said the order initiates a new expedited hearing with said debt lines and to fully reschedule marijuana. [SPEAKER_06]: So what does this mean for weed in the United States, Anthony?
[SPEAKER_04]: It means it'll be easier to get a medical classification and do medical research and shit like that. [SPEAKER_04]: It comes in conjunction with an executive order that Trump signed, that deals with psychedelic drugs and a lot of our friends were involved in this. [SPEAKER_04]: That's the more important of the two, in my opinion, the weed thing is what it is.
[SPEAKER_04]: Trump, once again, demonstrating he's the most libertarian president in American history by a wide margin by deregulating nonsense. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, this executive order expides does the same thing, but for psychedelics, like Ibegan and psilocybin and DMT. [SPEAKER_04]: and expedites the review process to use them as potential therapy treatments.
[SPEAKER_04]: Trump says the executive order I'm signing we're actually signing the executive order today is really a moment these treatments are currently in the advanced stages of clinical trials to ensure that they're both safe and effective for the American patients. [SPEAKER_04]: excuse me. [SPEAKER_04]: In many cases, these experiments and treatments have shown life-changing potential for those suffering from severe mental illness and depression, including our cherished veterans.
[SPEAKER_04]: And the nice part is that we're actually doing this early, but it has been going on. [SPEAKER_04]: Research has been going on for quite some time, but you know, usually with things like this, nothing ever happens, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_04]: Basically, there's a couple of people. [SPEAKER_04]: Marcus and his wife, Amber Capone, who Jared works with at Vets a lot.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wiz Buckley, Marcus the Trell, who also works over there at Vets, Rob O'Neill, who's been deeply involved in this as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Have been. [SPEAKER_04]: funding research, raising money, and lobbying the government to get these treatments made legal for American veterans, especially, but just for in general, because they're wildly effective. [SPEAKER_04]: And then Rogan had something to do with it as well.
[SPEAKER_04]: Rogan texted Trump a couple of weeks before that UFC thing, where people were trying to speculate that Trump was chastising Rogan for talking shit about him on the show, what really went down was [SPEAKER_04]: Rogan told him about eye-be-gain and that it can end a lifelong hair when addiction and one or two treatments in terms of like really and he's like, yeah, and he goes, what do you want? [SPEAKER_04]: Do you want FDA approval for it because I can make that happen?
[SPEAKER_04]: That's basically what happened in that conversation. [SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, it's about time, is the point. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't really care about the weed thing so much, but getting rid of these government regulations is a good thing. [SPEAKER_04]: There's no reason the government should be involved in any of this shit. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, look, a lot of our friends were there and we posted a video as soon as this happens on drink of roast podcast.
[SPEAKER_06]: Facebook and Instagram on it, and I do want to thank Joe Rogan for being there, he gave a great speech as well in the Oval Office and help get in this push through, because it does take a lot of people behind the scenes to get executive orders passed and shit like that, and it's not an easy thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: And if you don't have the right people and the right voices at the [SPEAKER_06]: This may never have happened, so shout out to Joe Rogan for stand it up for this and help and push this through along with Marcus the Trell and Rob O'Neill and the rest of those guys who are there. [SPEAKER_06]: So thank you and it was actually very cool to see. [SPEAKER_06]: Because in my opinion and correct me if I'm wrong on this, Stan was happening like the span of less than a month.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it happened really fast. [SPEAKER_06]: really fast and it shows how fast our government can actually work if you allow it to work and and shout out to Trump for doing it's. [SPEAKER_06]: Mike Frable will talk about tonight, Anthony. [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to be live at 745 for the NFL Jurassic 45. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, 645 Central 745 East Coast time and we'll kind of go over.
[SPEAKER_06]: some of our hopes and dreams, picks that we made, all this other stuff, and then the Mike Rable story. [SPEAKER_06]: Be curious to see if he is there tonight. [SPEAKER_06]: I know he said he was sitting out the third day, which is weird to me. [SPEAKER_06]: Couldn't have started your sex therapy class until Monday. [SPEAKER_06]: That's on, but we'll chat about that tonight. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, in the meantime, uh, the Anthony and I'll let you go.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is the point in the show. [SPEAKER_06]: We get to the drinking bro of the week. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Bob, good at drinking bros.com right now. [SPEAKER_06]: And, uh, and pull up all the new fun flirty goodies here. [SPEAKER_06]: The bro box, we got the chairs back to. [SPEAKER_06]: But there's only a limited edition of these. [SPEAKER_06]: I love these goddamn things and, uh, so do you guys. [SPEAKER_06]: This is one of your favorites over the years.
[SPEAKER_06]: I use this every single event that I have. [SPEAKER_06]: I've literally got both of them out. [SPEAKER_06]: I actually ordered an extra bro box last year, because I loved it so much, but once they're gone, they're gone. [SPEAKER_06]: So sign up for that. [SPEAKER_06]: We have a sweet t-shirt that you guys will definitely find hilarious in this month's box. [SPEAKER_06]: I love it and shout out to Brandon for doing it, but merch is all stocked up.
[SPEAKER_06]: We got phone cases up there. [SPEAKER_06]: I got the crime corner one.

[SPEAKER_06]: It was, it was one of those things where I've won so many over there. [SPEAKER_06]: They come in, she'll finally hit me out.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just like, hey, we can't put all these kids on your team and I go. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm not asking for it. [SPEAKER_06]: He goes, I know, but they are. [SPEAKER_06]: I know you're at yes, I won't shut up your neighborhood But I we we had looked in there actually. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a good little spot. [SPEAKER_10]: It is convenient spot. [SPEAKER_10]: I'll say [SPEAKER_06]: It is. [SPEAKER_06]: They got a lot going on in there. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm worried about the founders fest though.
[SPEAKER_10]: I know that's just going to be crazy over there this weekend. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: I got a flight. [SPEAKER_06]: I got to flight some of. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm heading up to Penn State. [SPEAKER_06]: I'll be at the, uh, obviously we own Penn State for a hardy of shelter. [SPEAKER_06]: There's spring game this Saturday. [SPEAKER_06]: So we're doing a bunch of events with attorneys and sororities and tailgates and all that fun. [SPEAKER_06]: That's going to be a crazy man.
[SPEAKER_06]: No shit. [SPEAKER_06]: I was there last year was a blast. [SPEAKER_06]: And then we got some other meetings up there for Hardy F and Philadelphia, New York, New York City. [SPEAKER_06]: And then I'm going to hop on a flight down in Wilmington and check out the new studio and all that stuff and kind of size it up. [SPEAKER_06]: When we take our sets with us. [SPEAKER_06]: So we appreciate you coming. [SPEAKER_10]: I got to bring something by for you.
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if you can stay on here. [SPEAKER_10]: Like, when's like the last day? [SPEAKER_06]: Don't know. [SPEAKER_06]: I would, if I had a guess, Memorial Day, only because we don't miss. [SPEAKER_06]: But there's an extra day off that we can. [SPEAKER_06]: like I'm I'll be the last one here.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know Koop is driving out the U-Haul of the set and um and then I'll have to drive back and I think Ryan you're gonna drive back as well and kind of help set up Yeah, that's what we talked about last night. [SPEAKER_08]: I was just gonna say June 1st. [SPEAKER_08]: That's what we've been saying That's our first official day at the new studio. [SPEAKER_08]: So in June we won't be here if you show up There'll be no one here.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, but also It might be after Memorial Day so like I don't I don't know but everybody who's kind of taxes and stuff on my [SPEAKER_06]: Hey dude, if you're coming, coming in the next, well, she'll be on next week. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you'll be gone. [SPEAKER_06]: They'll be in Wilmington next week, um, doing shows out of there, but uh, the week after. [SPEAKER_06]: So there's not much time left. [SPEAKER_06]: So good that you came in and get drink a bro the weekend.
[SPEAKER_06]: Right, the wire. [SPEAKER_10]: I don't want to miss it, man. [SPEAKER_10]: I was upset when you guys are leaving. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm kind of bummed because it's nice to have you guys around, you know? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but you see what's going on. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we can't stop the highway.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, you know, when we talked about it with Dan and I, and then obviously with the expansion of hearty f. [SPEAKER_06]: It's been the perfect storm of, you know, the circle K deal happens in the southeast and flying back to the southeast and I was like, do we just live in the fucking southeast at this point? [SPEAKER_06]: Because let's face it, you know, our live shows and stuff. [SPEAKER_06]: It's usually around football season where it's SEC or big ten.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's all in these ghosts. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Texas is that you guys are the only ones holding prop up the SEC. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's right. [SPEAKER_10]: They're trying anyway. [SPEAKER_06]: No, I, that's it. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Texas and Georgia. [SPEAKER_06]: No, yeah, that's great. [SPEAKER_06]: It's for real, like everybody likes arch, man. [SPEAKER_10]: Everybody likes arch, man. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what's going to happen with him.
[SPEAKER_06]: He's got to fix that hitch and his giddy-up or he's fucked. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_06]: You guys have two great wide receivers. [SPEAKER_06]: But I'm not sure what's going to happen. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm sure he's gonna stick around at least I think his uncles are gonna tell him to stick around if they're smart You know if he's smart. [SPEAKER_06]: He's gonna stay in this this is last year You know my choice.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's either gonna happen this year or eight because he's sat for what two years Bob. [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh Did that did one year count as a red shirt though? [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_06]: All right Because one would imagine [SPEAKER_06]: If he has a decent ear, he'll go pretty high in the draft.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: Something about, I feel weird about college quarterbacks though, because I feel like those, they're all hyped up, and then when they get to the NFL, they're like just, does almost like Johnny Manzels, like the biggest example I know for sure. [SPEAKER_06]: Even though he had his problems, you know? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but he had his own personal shit going on there, but as far as spinning the ball, Bok, that's St. Kidd.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm not saying this because as I say, but like the way the ball comes out of that kid's hand is wild His only thing might be his height He's six one whereas I think arch is like six five arch is the prototypical quarterback [SPEAKER_06]: You kind of reminds me of Trevor Lawrence was like, to the Fabio. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Wolfgang, but then I were on the field with him in college and he was a fucking Adonis.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I was on the field for last year's Texas Ohio State game in the second half. [SPEAKER_06]: Orcs is a big fucking dude man. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean so he's got the he's got the physical size Yeah, I can run to like he's I know he's got all of it. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, throw the ball Quarterback has to do yeah, sure so we'll find out yeah, buddy But thank you for for popping in who do you want to give drink bro the week to oh, man This is gonna be a tough one.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna give it to a buddy of mine. [SPEAKER_10]: He's name is Tim I want to say his last name, but he was from around here too, and I was talking to you before the show about [SPEAKER_10]: the organization that I work with. [SPEAKER_10]: Of a 12 Fox, the brewery. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: So every Monday, the veterans in the community meet up there, we just kind of hang out and talk with each other and just, you know, just like a community, you know, hang out.
[SPEAKER_10]: They're close on Monday, so it's just open to veterans. [SPEAKER_10]: And Tim was one of the guys that was up there. [SPEAKER_10]: And he passed away a couple weeks ago, unfortunately. [SPEAKER_10]: He was a really good guy, really fun to talk to. [SPEAKER_10]: And I just found out that, like, [SPEAKER_10]: maybe a week after that or so is because he took his own life. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm sorry to hear that. [SPEAKER_10]: It was a really really bummed deal.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's really infuriating honestly that, you know, it happens every day for veterans and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_10]: It's a really unfortunate thing. [SPEAKER_10]: So I just wanted to give the drinking board a week to Tim, you know, a really great guy. [SPEAKER_10]: And if you're veteran in the drip area or Austin, come out to 12 Fox on Monday, 79 or out there every Monday.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... we love to be honest here by the way yet uh... i we didn't event with those guys for the floods uh... and uh... we went out there donated uh... some clothes water supplies all that other stuff and then uh... [SPEAKER_06]: I think all the proceeds that day went towards the victims. [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, they do a lot of great stuff out there and then the beers. [SPEAKER_10]: Excellent.
[SPEAKER_10]: They're working on a B-House right now, too, for a B-therapy, B-Keeping, and just like, apparently the frequencies that the B's put off is therapeutic for veterans, too. [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know the science behind that at all, but that's just, [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know either when we start Jason's statement moving. [SPEAKER_10]: It's still new to me, so how do you do on a beekeeper? [SPEAKER_10]: I'm the niece weeper. [SPEAKER_10]: Out of beekeeper.
[SPEAKER_10]: That's like all right. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you know, Tim, my buddy, Tim, drink more the week. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, you know, I'm sorry about that. [SPEAKER_06]: Also, by the way, that was part of the reason why we opened up the app, too, was, you know. [SPEAKER_06]: It's got a Facebook wall in there and so you don't have to wait for an admin. [SPEAKER_06]: So like, I mean, if somebody in the other night, it was just like, hey, dude, I need somebody to talk to them.
[SPEAKER_06]: We've got a group on Facebook on Dringham Bros. Maine, and we've also got the app, so like, if you're struggling, and you need to talk to somebody, there's, you know, we have 35,000 subscribers to that app, and that's why Dan and I paid for it. [SPEAKER_06]: We made it free for that reason, where it's just like, hey, dude, [SPEAKER_06]: It'll be open, somebody will be up somewhere. [SPEAKER_06]: So don't do it and just reach out and talk to somebody for Christ's sake.
[SPEAKER_06]: For sure. [SPEAKER_06]: And do like 16 people responded within, I don't know, 15, 20 minutes, like it's awesome to see. [SPEAKER_10]: I love that stuff, man. [SPEAKER_10]: It's good that you guys did that. [SPEAKER_10]: And that's the whole reason that they started the Far Side Chat Support Network at 12 Fox. [SPEAKER_10]: So they could prevent that kind of thing. [SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, if you're struggling, get help and realize that you matter really.
[SPEAKER_06]: And that's why Jared started this group. [SPEAKER_06]: That's why you started drinking bros in the first place. [SPEAKER_06]: You don't have to drink alcohol, drink water, or just have a cup of coffee with somebody, but as long as you have someone to talk to to get you through this, that's what this is all about. [SPEAKER_06]: For sure.
[SPEAKER_06]: And even though I did this personally, my entire... [SPEAKER_06]: but basically my entire family did and you know it's a different generation than it was then because you know my grandfather one was in World War II. [SPEAKER_06]: One was in the Korean War. [SPEAKER_06]: My great grandfather was actually in World War I and [SPEAKER_06]: They didn't have suicide problems like this.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like I feel like it was after NAMM, which my uncle was in, but I feel like it was after that and then the G-Wad era in particular. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: That it really spiked. [SPEAKER_10]: G-Wad for sure. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's got way worse. [SPEAKER_10]: And I've noticed that to like, my grandfather was in World War II and he didn't speak much on that kind of stuff about people having those issues. [SPEAKER_10]: He wouldn't talk about the war too much, you know?
[SPEAKER_06]: But- He never said anything about it. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, unless it was a positive story, you really love the camaraderie and the funny stories Yeah, but he never talked about anything else [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know man. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't either but there is people that you can reach out to and say the name of that brewery one more time in case 12 Fox brewery dripping springs.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, and in his excellence Dan and I have been there and we've worked for those guys and what they do is fantastic He's talking about that little bar Close that is that they open with doors for that one. [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, sir. [SPEAKER_06]: That was my favorite one. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, dude. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a huge it's a huge piece of land.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's a good size property They also do like wedding venues and stuff too, but yeah, it's a good spot [SPEAKER_10]: I'm saying a good hang. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, hey, thank you for coming in, man. [SPEAKER_06]: We greatly appreciate it, and thank you for your support. [SPEAKER_10]: No, oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: I love this show. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm happy to listen to this 21, man. [SPEAKER_10]: It's been really awesome.
[SPEAKER_10]: I used to, like, I used to have a really long commute when I lived in West Texas. [SPEAKER_10]: I was working out there at noon, and every morning I would throw this shit on. [SPEAKER_10]: I had an hour commute, so I would just, like, throw it on. [SPEAKER_10]: Jamie, you guys out, man, it was fucking awesome. [SPEAKER_10]: So that's how I became a big fan. [SPEAKER_06]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, thank you so much. [SPEAKER_06]: We greatly appreciate you being here.
