Sips and Shorts - Gaspare was a young man working in the cafes of Turin, Italy in the 1850s. Italy was a rebellious country, a place fighting for unification and revolution. Turin, the then capital of Italy, was at the center of the energy. Gaspare would meet the love of his life in this city and she would inspire him to create something that would hold just as much energy and rebellion as the Italians battling for independence and unity.
