And his drink Chats motherfucking podcast makes up. He's a legendary queen's rapper. He's said greed, it's your boy in o R. He's a Miami hip hop and pioneer, one

up his dj e FN. Together they drinking up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast and yet number one source for drunk back drinks motherfuckings New year' z. That's his time for drink champs, drink up, motherfucker mother would could be hopefully this whining supery, this is your boy in R, one up his dj e F and this drink chats motherfucking party Happy Hour makes up. Right now, we have the king independent, the

King of consistency, the King of longevity. Yeah, the head front of Strange music has so many artists. The guy toards like a wrestler as he's on toy like Holgan and rocking them. He's out there, been doing it for years and pon years one years, and he's here in the motherfucking Happy Hour with the drink chat. Let's make something. How you doing, brother, what do you want to do? Do you want to Let's finish the wet first and then we go on to the other roses or do

you want to mix it up in between? Just mix it up. It comes natural, you know. So let's let's take it from the beginning. How did you get started? Because I heard you was signing Quincy Jones and all type of ship. Before that, I was a dancer though, you know I was TA was a breakdancer, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, the boy yeah yeah, the car board than the linolean, you know what I'm sitizling on busting my head on concrest yeah yeah, yeah,

yeah yeah. So from from from rhythm came rhyme, you know what I'm saying. And uh that's why when you see you come to my shows, you see me like, you know what I'm saying. I can't. I can't. It's in my bones blo, you know what I'm saying. So I started that and from there I wrote my first round at eighty five, that's how long I've been in it. Yeah,

I was seventy one. I was seventy one, continue yeah yeah, yeah, So, um I started doing it professionally like ninety you know what I mean, And uh, I knew I had some special man. I was already a different type of motherfucker. You know what I mean. My niggers in the hood, Like, what's wrong with this nigg I love them? But crazy again? Ship, you know what I'm saying. And we made that ship work. You know what I'm saying. Your first professional record like that came out to hip hop sottle you got to

drink here. I got a little my first professional take. So man, I think it might have been Um, I think it might have been gang related. Soundtrack questions on Tupac's last screen performance. You know what I'm saying, last one. Yeah, the order that he was filming. That was last screen performance. You know what, I'm sizzling, And uh, everybody thought I was on death roll because I was the only dude

on the soundtrack. Um, that wasn't at that Yeah. Yeah, I was living in l at seven with Quincy Jones and Ship like they're doing musical QT three. You know what I'm saying, Just trying to be helping, Like how did that that that that? It's so crazy to me, man, because I didn't think Quincy would like that ghetto ship, you know what I'm saying. And the song that caught his attention with a song I did in Kansas City uh ninety six called Mitch Bade. You know, some bitch

made back with you know what I'm saying, uh Mitch Bade. Yeah. So that got to Quincy somehow through some chick out in l A. You know that used to do music do business with U two D three had been a at this time. Yeah, my first deal and was in like uh ninety three with Jimmy Jimmy Terry Lewis y Yeah, yeah, yeah, I would go back to that because you know they did they did um Janet Jackson's music, and then I

signed with Quincy. He does Michael Jackson music. I've been like in the little Jackson circle that they saw something special, you know what I'm saying. So, but what a lot of these record deals I had, you know what I mean? When I was with Quincy and ninety seven Quest and Warner, uh, nobody knew what to do with du with red spiked hare and painted face and come out with a Bishops Road. You know what I'm saying, What are you gonna put that? So a lot of that ship didn't work and they

didn't know where to put. My music was a rock you know what I'm saying, it's hip hop, it's the jazz is everything, you know what I mean. But they didn't know where to put me. So after ninety nine um signing with Interscope on J Core, you know, they sucked us over royally. So after that, man, it was like time to show the motherfucker's how to market this

type of dude. So that's what the independent grind can so a lot of people the major first, like the uh in the industry, when your name comes up, everybody always associates you with independent immediately. So let's let's talk about it like the beginning parts of when he was on these records being with Major. My first major deal was ninety three with Jimmy Jim Terry Lewis, and that didn't work, you know what I mean. You know it

wasn't thin Jackson. Yes, I went to the I went to the Velvet I'm sorry story what happened when you met Penny my niggah, Man, it was cool. She invited us to u her Velvet Rope release party in l a Man on the Sony a Lot and Michael Mike Mike Tyson was there, you know, saying Seal was there. Everybody you know, saying Brownstone was still popping, you know what I mean. She smelled like cocoa butter in Hennessey. She smelled like incense like Erica bud Yes, class fair one.

But how was it meeting? Like was you a fan of her? Like yes, yes, I'm a penny guy like from Good Times. Yeah, she gonna shoot me her handshake hug. You know what I'm saying. It was like that handshake first and pull it there, like how are you doing? Like yeah, that's definitely I never got to Yeah, I never got to meet Michael though. Never um met Pop. Yeah, I met Popping a few occasions. I met Big in Kansas City backstage when he not Kansas City, Kansas City, Kansas.

He played at a memorial hall or something like that, you know, saying I forgot the name of the place over there in k c K when Juicy first came out. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. But but let's take it back right um to because see, like I said, everybody always refers to you as the King of Independent, Like I wanted to talk you to to why you became independent, So like let's let's speak about those those

we were in the midst of it. When we were talking about my my major deals, my first one with Jimmy Jimmy Turrylisen, I need three, didn't work, seven with Quincy Jones, doesn't work with Interscope and j Coorey. You know what's gonna after that is when I came back to Kansas City, was there something specific that wasn't working with the majors, like something that they were doing wrong

or the I needed complete a time of me. I couldn't have nobody telling me what the funk I couldn't say or do you know what I'm saying, And they wanted me to copy ship. Now when he was on these labels, were you throwing out projects or these projects never came out? No, no, no, no. I was recording thing like a motherfucker. You know what I'm saying. We're

recording songs and they wanted to. They wanted to, like, for instance, um, the people that Quincy Jones had working for him, I have this song technic and uh Planet Rock to k you know what I'm saying, And uh, they wanted me to do something for I think it was a shock movie called Steel, you know what I'm saying. They wanted to do something. They wanted me to do some poppy kind of music and I'm like, no, I want to use Planet rock. So we would fight back

and forth. They wanted me to do the poppy ship, and I didn't want to do poppy ship, you know what I'm saying. And I wasn't gonna do the poppy ship. You know I'm saying. They were sending me beasts that were not me, you know what I mean. For producers, I didn't know you know what I'm sizzling when they signed you. They thought they were going to completely change you, totally, totally, totally.

I mean, that's that's what That's what I felt like, you know what I mean when the yeah, but you knew what The big has heard me and signed me, just like uh, Jimmy Jimmy, Terry Lewis, just like Quincy Jones. The Bigges has heard me. But it's the people that didn't really know what to do what nine you know what I'm saying that their staff, so um, we had to fight a lot, you know what I mean. And I couldn't do that no more, man, You know what I mean. They didn't know where to put me, and

I knew I had something special. So I had to show them when I met my partner, Travis, UM what strange music is. And since we've been doing that for eighteen years now, UM, we've we've acquired the title as the number one independent label music mother, and we're still going to show tonight Man the album. Years ago, when I was doing a show in Orlando, UM, I saw

these guys on stage. We were opening, right and uh, I remember one of my colleagues telling me, you have to check out the open and acts may Day, you know what I'm saying. So I watched this. I watched the watch their show, and you know, they had this don Nams that came out popping. You know, I'm a b boy, you know what I'm saying. He's killing wa that of the night like this motherfucker's hardcore. So I got to listen to the music, like damn, you know

what I'm saying. It was so good that I asked for one of their records and they signed it for me. I still have it, you know what I mean. They were so good. So I called Travis, like we have to get these dudes. And I heard through the grapevine that Wayne was looking at them, and you know, they did some kind of thing on the lane tooth pain. I said, they're gonna go. We had to heard him get these guys. And we were lucky enough. I'm Coolah yeah, yeah, but we were lucky enough to have made their own

strange music. Man, and uh when other people were trying to snatch them, you know what I mean? And rightly so, because sucking hardcore. Now you being independent? What was the moment? Because being independent? I've been independent and it's hardest. Oh yes, oh yes, it's Oh what is the thing that's the thing? Um My, the Travis was already a millionaire, you know what I'm saying. And when he when I had a meeting with him after I did this, uh, this fashion

show that he was funding. You know what I'm saying. These these this clothing line called Paradise Originals, And I have that song Ti Technoga blew up in Kansas City, you know what I'm saying. I had a few songs blowing up, you know, saying let's get sucked up, and Mitch bade all that ship was popping on the radio at home. So when I had my meeting with Travis, he said, hey, man, I've been following your music for a long time, you know, And um, I just wonder

why you're not bigger than you are. You know, you're better than a lot of people I see on TV and radio. I was saying, man, it takes a lot. He said, well, check I have a lot, right, He said, what do you think about doing a joint venture? Man? Men? You fifty um strength? Like he didn't say strange music because I had it in my head. He was like a record label, you know what I'm saying. So I was like, I know exactly what I want to call it. I want to call it strange music because I'm a

doors fan. You know what I'm saying. Strange days, people are strange, you know what I mean. And I said I wanted to be a snake. I got the snake to be the s and the wind. Yeah, yeah, it ain't say the maskis No, I don't. I don't be bits up or nothing with you know what I'm saying that the snake is the s and the bat wings are the m strange music. You know what I'm saying. And what happened was he got some artists together to get that out of my head onto everything you can imagine,

like panties and belts and car decals. You know what I'm saying, everything has shirts now it's on people's skin for life. You know what I mean? That really believe in the movement strange? You know what I mean? How long before y'all got together did it take for that to really start to pick up what you have to go through? I'm sure tribulation before you found the mechanisms that we're working for in order in order to get me free of everything I was binded to from. Yeah, yeah,

like Quincy Jones. You know that's question Warner. You know what I mean. Swint King Tech, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, they were managing me. You know what I'm saying for the youngest. Yeah, we used to be Yeah, my brother and still doing the morning showing shade forty yea yeah, Swant King Tech saw a lot in Tech nine way back. You know what I mean. It was on the anthem was on the anthem. You know what I'm saying. With

Eminem and uh you know co raps on it. Pharaoh Mont she was saying, x jo Felony caress one was on it. My you know what I'm saying, Like like they did a lot for me, man, So they wanted me to um push Q aside, let them take over. You know, I can't do that, man. You know what I'm saying that Quincy, you know what I'm saying. QT three, you know what I'm saying. He's my boy. You know he was doing this. I can't do aside. Well, you know, it was you know, say, it was like, man, you

know this is a little right. I'm sure it's cool now. Yeah, you know, I say with them, but they wanted me to get everybody out the way. And I brought Travis in and it was like, what's up there? What you do? And I'm like this dude came in like, hey, you want to start a label, and I'm like, I gotta do something, man, you know what I'm saying. And there's like they told Travis, you know, it's gonna take a lot of money. And Travis like, ship, I'm about to

clean all this ship up. So we cleaned. So he cleaned all that ship up, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. And then see I wasn't signed to Swaying King Tech, but we were just a partnership, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, so it was nothing, you know, saying. They wanted to help, you know what I mean. So it wasn't nothing like I had to get off of what they had me on. You know what I'm saying. It was just a weird partners So, um, that was easy. That wasn't nothing, you know what I mean.

And me and Sway remained cool and Tech can Tech whenever he wanted anything. I'm on the I'm on the most recent uh wake up show anthem as well the last one they did, you know what I'm saying. So we're all still connected. But Travis had to do a lot of cleaning to get me free because everybody was connected to me, you know what I mean. I had a lot of people connected to Tech nine. So was

that running through your mind? Was that any worries because like, at the end of the day, you got a guy, you know, pick up the Travis just coming in and taking it out for you, and then you know, maybe these projects didn't work over there? Did you ever at one point doubt yourself and think it was you not? And I don't think it was me. I just think it was me saying yes too much to too many people, know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, just me saying, yes,

let's do it. Let's do it, let's do it, Let's get it, let's get it, let's get it. You know. Um, but I knew that we would get through all that ship, you know, saying four minute there, you know, saying like in the late nineties, Ja, Prince rap a lot was trying to get me out of the Warner. You know what I'm saying, Yeah, yeah, he said he liked tech. We're gonna take care of that. That is gonna be taking care of You're gonna get We're gonna make sure you off that and dang it won't be no problems.

I don't know what ended up happening, but it didn't happen, you know. But you know, there's a lot of people trying to help me. You know what I'm saying, a lot of people believed in me. You know what I'm saying. Now, you're coming from Kansas City CORRCT, Kansas City, Like, how did you? Like? Yeah? Like like how did you? Because you know us, Yeah, because the opportunity is none when it comes to the record business there. You know what I'm saying, Why why do you think we have to

start our own wayble. You know what I'm saying, we don't have Sony Midwest, we don't have death Jam like. I don't even think they were calling it Midwest like back then. I think they were just saying over there that they're saying, there's like, there's no place like home. They'll make it up with jokes. We we could up to. What I'm trying to ask you is like you know, being from Kansas City like this is this is not on for being hip hop, you know what I mean.

I took him out from you look at Miami perspective of New York perspective. Yeah, it wasn't televised, It wasn't. I it made you say, I'm gonna stick with this, and I'm not going to give up because I'm hearing a story right now. I'm done. It's my quick I was with, Yeah, he's all the guys love that, the time to age. So people just give it because of age or whatever. So what made you stick with it? When I had obligations my nigger, I had kids. You know what I'm saying. I couldn't quit, you know, so

I didn't want to quit. I still don't want to quit, you know, I'm still getting better and better, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, the people that they still they still want techno and you know what I mean, And I give it to him as hard as I can, dude, you know what I mean. It's like being from Kansas City, Like I said, the opportunity was like none when it came to music. So it's like we had to build it, you know

what I mean. But don't get it funked up. A lot of artists in Kansas City been working for a long time, and a lot of rappers, lot of singers, you know saying, just a lot of talent, and we got a lot of them with us as well. You know what I mean. There's a lot more new ones that we're trying to work with. Two man, It's like it's it's a hub for music. It just hasn't been televised. People don't know about it, you know what I'm saying. We we we saw we saw nas grow, you know

what I'm saying. We saw Will Smith grow from rapping to a megastar. Same thing we watched j Lo Rides from being a dancer and living being being the master of her own universe, you know what I mean. But see the Tech nine story still being written. All that ship, they're gonna have to go back to it, you know what I mean. And that's what the fans do when they find a new song, like the New Fans, they find like Fragile or word up for Me, the Biggs

song Lamar and Kinda Morgan. When they when they hear Fragile, they hear um want to kill You Lamar's first features. Yeah, the first time Lamar ever told it was with Strange Music. Yeah, yeah, yeah, j Rock, how did that happen? We signed Jay Rock. We got Jay Rock off of Warner They had him sitting, they had him sitting for first artist. Was yes, yes, yes, I heard that. I'm Jay Rock was TV's first artist. Let me see that, man. That's how you come to up and how you come to a podcast. It's called

happy All I got damn it. I might have to hit one of these your own you got your own too, you put it out or you know, you have a couple with you you know even how you can come to the joint. Because I got a flight later to New York, so I thought I didn't pope it. I was like, oh, this on me because hold on this now, this is the pros um phere. Okay, let me see now, Hope, just this Niggs for drinking that Mikey fresh from Vibe

was my witness period period. I'm just he just said, you get peer rear you at Arry ain't listening to the hole. Yeah, so what are you saying? Come on, who's the full man? Come on? What do he said drinking you? You ain't you learned from me or listening? Yeah, because he's saying we shouldn't be dringing that because his white companies black we should be drink I want to taste. We gonna taste it. We gotta taste it. We said we should the whole Well, how does he know about

it if he don't drink it? Because this is the ship you said, you said he said we shouldn't drink it. He said, yeah, because we're supposed to drinking his ship, the Asian ship. Yeah, the space ship. We're gonna get into that. I drink. Yeah, I just made what that is? What's that white fit? Come on like like we're not gonna sper I'm sorry, I wouldn't. I don't know where I went with that one. This is we ain't working with them, No, I I don't think so that's part

of the test to a champagne tasting party. Let's prays. You know what this reminds me of what France. I taste a bull. Okay, you don't know what about, guys, but you know what I'm doing Next time I go to France, I'm gonna take I'm gonna take the bike and I'm just bob mad. I'm not gonna eat its mad bred the look and sorry had a book and I midn't get the baby. I got to do that wins. I've been I've been the parents a couple of times. Man,

you know what I'm saying. I love that place. What was your most like bugged out place you ever performed that? You was like, Wow, Denmark Rocks killed the fast. Sixty people came to the show. I've never seen that many people you or you I was, I was. It was not just me. It was another artist there by the name of l Oc that's pretty big. We were going on on his stage and it was And when we came back after that, it was twenty thousand people to come see us the next time, one of the biggest

tents they be having over there. And I just never saw such love, you know what I'm saying. Um, back then, you know what I mean, it was just so many people with Tech nine banners and flags and ship and I'm like, I didn't think it was gonna be two hundred people out there, you know what I'm saying. I walked out on the stage like Jesus Christ. And then after the show, they took us to this place called Christiania Push your Street. It's like the cops can't come in.

They're selling dope, all kind of crack they sell on everything. Are smoking in the park and it's like we stayed there. You can just go in there inside this place and walking people's houses and everybody's like, come on in, you know what I'm saying. So crazy, everybody's smoking. It was beautiful, you know what I'm saying. We was there in a nighttime too, when they saying it was dangerous. Wait wait wait, I've been to this place. Hold on, Um, it's a

park like painting, But I've been in the daytime. I wasn't as tough as we went in the daytime day till night. Okay, yeah, definitely creepy yea. Like as I was walking out because we were like you said, it's Denmark. Yeah yeah, but it's like it's like you could smoke old over. It's like everybody they got they got different stands. And she walking and I'm saying. What he's saying is like, I know you had to be. Yeah, that's crazy. I've been so that was that was that was the craziest

back then. But what's back then? Like ship? I don't know my niggers, like no, maybe like eight years ago something like that. I don't know. But I actually a crazy place in America. But um, did you did you ever think that your music would would would would would reach that far like in euro up in all these places. I always knew, I keep on saying this. I always knew I had something special and I knew I was

writing my music to travel. You know what I'm saying. Um, I remember I said on the wake Up show, swam tech heard me flow in its sealed. Now I got Swedish women yelling tech nitis Vill you know, Bill is like wild over there, you know what I'm saying. And I ended up going to Sweden. You know what I'm saying that it ended up having a lot of fans in Sweeping. So I always knew that I wanted to travel,

you know what I'm saying. So it's like when they asked Jim Carey, was he like super surprised when he got that twenty five million to be the Joker or whatever, you know, the Riddler, and uh, he said, no, I've been planning this my whole life. And that's what I've been doing. I've been planning this my whole life. And let me ask you a question. Me as a person that for my own career, when things uh got a little south for me, like in America, I would spend

so much time in Europe. Oh yeah, they appreciate music of the hip hop culture that that Europe actually that posted hip hop might be beating a little bit harder in Europe for yeah, for years to the people, I don't understand why that would be because you know, well this is this is my theory on it. You know, once something happens so much like like Technine, for instance, our eminem motherfucker swear, Eminem ain't the same, or he ain't wrapping the same when he's still wrapping his heads off.

You know what I'm saying, People get used to it, like, oh I expect that of technology. I expect him to kill ship and it's not not a whow anymore because they've had it for so long. That's what I think it is with hip hop over here, you know what I'm saying. Everybody's used to yeah, used like yeah, yeah, dools whatever, yeah, yeah. But over there it's like holy ship. Yeah. Shows. People be out there, breakdancing, graffiti right outside. They'll do

a piece for you right there. And I didn't see m op do any any up in Zurich, Switzerland, dude. And by the way, I love it. One of my favorite Dominican restaurants in the world. So hip hop is a lot of yeah, and uh, you know what I'm saying. But tell them the MLP story. What happened when you saw man, It's like we were staying at the same hotel, man, and uh, they just had I don't know, I shouldn't say this, but they had like a trail of fucking

women following them everybody they went there. I was like, damn, We're sitting over to the bar, like, look at this dick over there, and I got be just coming out everywhere. You know, you see them same bites backstage when we were about to go on. That's the same tim that it's a business. For my eyes, what I'm saying, ain't nobody else looking at everybody like hell yeah they got bitches that you know, they didn't didn't get bitches, didn't getting about us. They just wanted to hang with m

O P. You know. Yeah, So now then we go. I want to get into your jiggalo is it? I say it right? U juggalo jug. I was like, like, I just think about that about the business technoga because but we've all been connected. Yea. What I heard is that is that something way I heard that that's how you got your love for the role, like you know, going on on the road with them? Is that correct? On early on? No? No, no, you correct early on UM two thousand and three, I think I went on

a tour with them. They called me to do a tour called the Wicked Wanka Tour. I had some tours before that, you know what I'm saying. I had the UM Angelic Tour and the Absolute Power Tour and yeah, strange music, you know what I'm saying. We had a couple of tours. I don't know if it was called and like I'm thinking it was called like strictly strange, or maybe maybe it was strictly strange. I forgot what it wasn't been so long ago. But then I did the Spread Liquid Mixed Tour with Jay Z and three

eleven and let's make some noise for you. I've never been in my life, I'm saying. I just counted all that money out right. Yeah yeah. Any of our da was on that. That's having that for real, you know, show on that tour, you know, the Spright Liquid Mixed Tour, and I think that was like two thousand two maybe I think, you know what I mean. Nappy Roots was on it, Tyler QUALLEYE Kanye was with Tyler Qualley. You

know what I'm saying. It was a beautiful tour. After that, we were called to do the Wicked Wanka Tour and it opened the juggalos up to me that I c p started. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Now I got some white My motherfucking dude, what the fund is that? Dude? It looked like like donut like glaze or something. Yeah, you know that. You know, I had to wash two it. Let's be got blackbird right now, Jerry, wonder what talk the bottom of all of the films at the bottom

of this is a real club. This is a real club. This is where we started from this. Look, do remember that roof out there is two million dollars. Let's make some noise for that. Yeah, that wasn't here the last time I was here. The first thing might not want roof is on fire. Let's make a noise for blackbird. But so so, now that's crazy because insane clown posse

just just mashing those two up. Like did you when I went on that first tour, the you know what I'm saying, wick relationship with them before, so I think when from from Detroit, Okay, they have to Yeah, I don't blow up dolls, yeah, ok yeah yeah, but uh when I went on that tour the first day, man, we were in Columbia. No, no, no, we was in Cleveland, Ohio. I had never seen that show, and me and Travis said on the start of the stage like, what the

fuck was throwing pop? And it was hiitting bitches in the eye and then they was loving it. Yeah, shake it up and yeah, yeah, yeah, everything I'm talking about. But they always had a hard time getting shows in certain places because of it. The venues used to have to put up like plastic bags over all their ship when they came. You know, it was that serious, you know what I'm saying. I thought that was amazing, man, you know what I mean. So we learned a lot

on that tour, you know what I'm saying. And that's when the bond happened with the Juggalos. Now since then, UM ships went on to where the guys thought. When I was wing on ebro uh, Peter Rosenberg said something they asked me about something about you know, you and I c P are like the same. I'm like, no, we're not the same. We're different, but we're connected, you know, I'm sizzling. And the leaders of the I c P movement, Yeah, yeah, they felt like I didn't say enough about the Juggalos,

like like I just said, like funk y'all. And I never would, you know what I'm saying, because Tech nine belongs to everybody, you know what I'm saying. It started with the gangsters, and then the school kids, then the college kids, then the metal heads and all that kind of ship, and then the Juggalos. You know what, I'm sizzling in Kansas City. So UM I never counted them out because they helped build Tech nine, all the other people that helped build all the technicians at the beginning,

you know what I'm sizzling, they helped build nine. Yeah yeah, yeah, they're probably the story. But they were claiming me whole, you know, saying technolog is ours. And they're mad at me because they loved me, you know what I'm saying, Like they felt like that when they if if your leader says text not showing enough love, everybody's gonna say fun Tech nine. And it turned against me, and uh, you know, I got like a few death threats lately,

you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, when I was on the last tour, you know what I'm saying. So we didn't do the recent gathering of the Juggalos and we usually do it year after year, you know what I'm saying. I even cut my price down to do it because I love doing that for their motherfucker's you know. So because of the death threats and all that kind of ship, um, I didn't do it, and they're mad. They're like, oh, he can do these fucking festivals,

but won't fucking come together. And you pupposed to be a blood and you're scared of Juggalos. Now, it's not about being scared, it's about being aware. I know what happened to dine back Darrel and why you know what I'm saying in Columbus, Ohio. You know what I'm saying That that bullshit ask venue Alarosa Villa. You know what I'm saying. But you cannot discount fanatic motherfucker's. Yeah, like you're not talking my other fans. Yeah, they don't understand business.

You know, mother's motherfucker's will say that about people they think are punks, like that nigga ain't tripping on it, he's a bit and then getting smoke by that bit. You can't discount nobody. So we didn't. We didn't do it, you know what I'm saying. And there's kind of been a wedge because of it and because of my fame, my new fans. When you're doing this ship for so long like I do, you're being it long enough to

become the enemy. You know what I'm saying. The hero somehow becomes the enemy somehow, you know what I'm saying. The outer So yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying, Because it all hard flicks. The hero has a downfall. If you don't have a downfall, they want to create you. Yeah yeah, yeah, so so so a lot of them like fucking win't buy no more records. And I was like, well, if you feel like that and then you do that,

you know what, I'm sizzling. But never have I done anything wrong or said anything wrong, even on the song when I had to address it, you know what I mean, I just told the truth, you know, And you said he started from what like, what was the miscommunication with the I c P. What you mean said on interview? Yeah, because the thing about it, and this is what I

gotta say about that, you know what I'm saying. I don't think ebro Abril got love for me, but I don't think he's really up on my music like that. You know what I'm saying. I think movement or just the music, the music, you know what I'm saying. He just I think he because once before he say your style is like dec and I'm like, no, it's not like you know is my nigga? But no, we might have this, you know what I'm saying. We we might

have the same chin here. But that's about it. And I had to take that from me bro, and I'm like, because I got love from him, like this nigga compared to me to one more motherfucker. So when I went in and because I'm Tech nine, my nigger, you know what I'm saying, Like if you hear, if you hear, like maybe he here's some kind of connection like can that gang gang bang banger stuff. I don't know. You know, I don't do that. That's I wouldn't take that from see.

You know what I'm saying. Yeah, sir, you know I'm saying. So when he said that to me, I was kind of like, you know, you can't say that to a rapper. You know what I'm saying that you sound like a duf c. You know you got your stuff from Douvec right, I'm like, yeah, I love seeing the Mad Circle. Yes, you know what I'm saying, but you know I'm Tech nine, you know what I'm saying. That was the first time

he says something. Next time I came back, he compared me to I c P. Now, when I was going in there, I told my people, I said, I love you, bro, but if this nigga can compare me to one more mother cucker, I'm gonna let him have it. So when he said, when Peter first kicked it off, Peter said, your ship is like I c P meets something. I'm like he would I think he knows, but he said he knows more about Ritz. He's more of a rich fan.

You know what I'm saying. So when Peter said it, I did like this, and then he bro continued with it. So the icy P ship, you know what I'm saying, tell us about that. I'm like, I was just like a mother, Like, are you gonna compare me to another mother? Nine nigger? Nobody raps like me? Nobody, But I don't think they know that. I don't think they listen to Fragile. Listen to Fragile. Some of the people appointed to give

an a pennic and never to get it. I wanted to come up and jim me, that sounds like dove see my name? What then are you talking about? Crazy? Sounds like du see What then are you talking about? He bro and I'm gonna have to see him after this? And I don't give an I'm thinking was I was? I was really beside myself when they because of the d C ship the time before in New York and then when I came back then they compared me to another motherfucker. Sound was like, I know that as fuck y'all.

When it was really I was tripping with these niggas. You know what I'm saying. They didn't know. I'm a nice guy. Man, I'm a nice guy. But all you say it's just I'm different from like like like I'm on the incline, my nigga, you can't just say that I'm other than motherfucker's you know what I'm saying, Like

niggers don't wrap like me. You know what I'm saying, like Twister reps fast, fucking um bone thugs wrap fast and the cruisial conflict and ludicrous and them and them and all them, but none of them sound like me, my nigga. You know what I'm saying, that's all we have in common, Like niggas get you know, I say, that's all we have a guy. Nobody has their face painted, but I CP you know, and that's that's a comparison.

But I've been to kill it clowns and sucking ninety four before I knew who they were, you know, to explain that to the boss, to the jego boss, like my nigga, I've gotta give you a tech nine. Listen, don't go on fucking no. They were don't hunt nine seven like check nine. That's what started the whole ship because of that, That's what I think Peter and repawned into that to that your interview on there, yeah yeah,

yeah yeah. And my brother Chris kind of showing me on the on the last two and I'm looking at they're saying all the wrong things like yeah, like we took shipped from them and all that kind of ship. And I'm like a nigger that tries his best to do his own thing, and motherfucker's a point in the finger, like you bit something. Are you fucking crazy, my nigga, Are you crazy? Yeah, we've seen your fucking uh merch on your tour and we're like, yeah, we gotta step

our game up. Okay. They said I wouldn't painting my face until I got on the tour. I'm like, no, my nigga, I was painting in the night four I met you. Mother's in two thousand three that I was mad, but I was I kept my cool because mother fucker's always want to point the finger at you, like you did something you did the hero all this and after all the time. If if I wasn't in the game this long, motherfucker's would not be able to say, I don't like the new ship. The old ship is the best.

You know what I'm saying. You know, were probably the only act of doing fucking records from the nineties for our fans. You know what I'm saying. I go to Drake Show, I don't hear. I just want to be like says, I don't hear that they're doing this new ship. We go back for the new fans and the old fans. My nigga. You know what we've been in this motherfucker nigga nigga. So when somebody points the finger at you and you'd be like, huh So I wasn't tripping with

the Juggalos. They was just mad that I didn't say more because I was already tripping to these niggas compared me to somebody else understandable, Yeah, yeah, I hadn't never knew none of this brand new, brand new. This is crazy. Can you explain for people who are listening to us and watch you know why you started to paint your face? There was a myth in Kansas City when we were kids that it was a thing called the Killer Clown that drove a yellow van. The kidnapped kids and they

would disappear. Scared the funk out of us in grade school. It lasted all the way through high school. My nigger, the legend of the Killer Clown nigger. When I started getting into wrap, I wanted that mystique because bit just like, oh, Aaron is so cute and he's trying to wrap. I said, I'm gonna cover my face up with the bit and let you hear what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. I sucked my hair up and I had Curly Curly here.

I had the box with the kwam a Street everything, all that ship I just fucked up and like like, okay, y'all looking at how I look. Bit, listen to what I'm saying. I said, you know that, So that was my whole thing, you know, saying, become the Killer Clown. I'm you know, I'm Michael Myers lyrically, you know what I'm saying. And all that ship came together and ninety four of my best friend, Brian Dennis rested, so he got killed back in seven, Um he painted my face

in ninety four. Oh it was his idea. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, And I was like, because he knew about my killer Clown. I had a song called Killer Clown and all that kind of thing, and I became the killer clown you know before you were painting your face or yeah yeah yeah, and then he started he started. Yeah yeah, My first round was in eighty five. You know, so you're painted my face at night four. You know what I'm saying. I was Technine was starting. You know

what I'm saying. It was up and running. You know what I'm saying. I had my first deal of ninety three, all that kind of ship. So you like dedicating it to him now but still doing it. Oh yes, yes, yes, it was always a dedication to Brian Beaesel, Dennis Man. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah and U. And it's like motherfucker's saying that you took it from somebody else. I mean, you took it like you got you got your idea from somebody else. That's that's that's

fucked up, you know what I'm saying. And that's what that's what Peter Rosenberger and uh hebro started and it started it a lot of ship with me and I c PO. They probably don't even know. They probably just getting you know, tell about theory. No, it's about EB. Yeah, I'm talking about they pably didn't even know it. Just probably gonna find out M. So you think you'll be able to mend it with i CP at some point we did better? Yeah, we did better. You know what

I'm saying. It's like we've been about it. You know I'm saying I called nigga. Oh yeah, yeah, ok, yeah, yeah. They wanted me at together and you know what I'm saying. They don't understand, like, oh, but he would do these fucking E D M fest but he won't. He didn't do together and check I'm like nigger. So it's because I didn't do this one because the death threats don't mean I won't do it again. Like it now, what's your relationship with E forty? My family? By that, that's

my family, you know what I'm saying. And when I just say it's my family, I didn't find out that was my family to a recent family. All these years, all these yeah, all these years I've been doing work with forty, doing music. He's a cool cat whenever whenever I'm up there, he showed up whenever he comes to Kansas City. You know what I'm saying, I'm asking this one together. But we've always been connected. We've been on tour together everything, Like two tours ago. This motherfucker called

me like, hey, how you doing tech. I'm like, what's up? Man? He said, put some on the phone. He put my cousin Christopher on the phone, who we used to live in the same house and Casey and when my mom was in a battered relationship, we live out in case Kansas City, Kansas with them. You know, she's running from her boyfriend, you know, saying like that little Christopher. You know, I said, what you doing with a forty? He said, Dante's that's our family. You didn't know that all these years.

I'm like, no, nigga, you didn't tell me either. Yeah, he was at the house, so he knew for years that, y'all. I just got so when he found out because he went to a family's house in the Midwest. You know what I'm saying, and it happened to be my family. He got back on the phone. I said, no wonder, I like your punk as motherfuck crazy. He's not, no, you know, yeah crazy. So what do y'all like third cousins stuff like that? Yeah, but that's cousins so crazy.

Same thing with Nellie Man. You know I'm saying, my great grandmother's name is Maud Haynes. Yeah. Yeah, So when Higgins was talking bad about him, I'm like, don't talk to me about it. Don't talk about you know, because him and carress One had somewhere like yeah, don't think nobody didn't know how you and side. You can't just get over that. I'm saying, this is the mid West. You know when I when I went to So I went to a family union years ago, and all the

Haynes family was there. You know what I'm saying, That's how I found out that we're connected. You know what I'm saying through my uh my Auntie, um ain't Margared and Red and Lamont and all the motherfucker's all my cousins. Just like that's the hand side of the family. You know what I'm saying. I don't like damn Cornell Haynes and you know the Funnies ship is um I don't got an awesome story like that, Like all old stories

is awesome. I gotta, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta like a local story like it was like like a dude, I got wrong with the hood for years and left and left Rack, But man, Bobby were going to the family union. I'm like, what are you doing here? You're like, what are you doing here? Ship? And the whole time, I know for twenty years to think it was my cousin and I did not know that happens like that. But but your stories wait more awesome? What I got on you? Look tech? I don't know if you see

how I'm doing it. One is the pure wales will left, and then one is the more Yeah, I'll put mine over there. I'm I'm gonna hear some of that Prejude I was about the Ashal line. Yeah, son to drink it. I don't know if you know, um, Yeah, I'm possible to go. The whole whole is preaching right now that black should support black. And when he says black, he doesn't mean me, he means Latino. He means he meets white people too. He meets people off the culture like

hip hops and support hip hop. People need each other to help each other up, and that's what because that's what that's that's what idiotic supremacis and all the motherckers don't understand that we need each other. You know what, I'm sizzling see that you're going on right now? Yeah, Virginia, isn't it Virginia? Virginia? Yeah? Ran over somebody, right, ran over some people clashing in the streets and yeah, racial ship looking crazy, like all the white supremacis groups got together. Yeah,

that's crazy. Somebody somebody sparked that ship. You know what I'm saying when they said let's make America great again? You know what. David was out there and he said, and that's always we're living up Trump's ship, that's what he said. He said, what he said something like that, like you we live in this is Trump's wishes, Trump's dream. Yeah, like to you know, make America white again? Was that that's I mean trying to say that. Yeah, that's what

it's called. The rallies called put together the right or something like that. Right something, come on, it's called right, it's called hold on something like it's for the right. Yeah, because one of the books right right to you what right right to the right? Unite so it's like, ah, what they really mean. You know, they don't know unite the right and they're changing White lives lives matter, that's what matter this case. It's just to counter Black lives matter.

And everybody wants to be the chosen one. Everybody wants to be God's chosen you know what I mean. And it's like we're all human beings and ship. You know, somebody's man created barriers, man created you know what I'm saying, like things that hold Black people should listen to this kind of music, and white people should listen to metal and and um, you know what I'm saying. Latino people should listen to this kind of music. But you know,

when everything's integrated, its beautiful. Some people, a lot of people don't want that. I love growing up in New York. Yeah, I had a white person on my flaw, a Haitian person on my flaw. Yeah person on my flaw. Yeah, I had another white couple downstairs. Like we grew up in every if you like from real New York, you can't be racist exactly. It's like you grew up to around too many people of every race and you realize early on that you can't blame that person for that race.

It's just that person is a dick. You can't blame his whole race from that. Like you can't just meet the person to say he's Columbia, he loves a sniff coke, you blame he's back. You can't. Just like it's more divided in the middleway. I feel like, because if you're looking at the coast, but see more integrated in terms

of like different cultures. But in the Midwest, it seems, you know, I don't know, you get to Middle America, that's the Maybe it's just ignorance of mine, but it seems like Middle America is just more separated in terms of racial divide. Well diversity, Well, it's it's diverse as hell states bringing in like literally the people. Be honest. When I listened to camp, when I hear Kansas City, it does sound racist in my mind, Like it sounds like somebody canna call me a nigger. I know where

I'm at. I know where I'm at. When Garth Brooks can come to Kansas City and do ten sold out shows at the Sprint Center, Sprint Center, Sprint Center holes like uh Sprint Center, holes like twenty thod maybe I don't know, maybe morelos out there kicking ass. What the ten shows so that we know where you're at. You know what I'm saying it to change them. Come. You know what I'm saying it don't sell out. You know what I mean, Wayne coming, don't sell out. There to

be a lot of people. You know what I'm saying. Um, it's just let you know where you're at. Wow, you know what I'm saying. But it's all types of people there. But Guard Brooks can come there and sell out ten shows. There's lots of lots of people. But other people like Brooks that out there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know where I'm at. You know what I'm saying. So what was the best year? This is the thing. I did my biggest show ever. Remember I said the biggest one was

like sixty people in Denmark. I did my biggest show in my city when I did rock Fast year after year before last, seventy people in my town. Man, and the radio station was behind me like tech, this is for you man, you know what I'm saying. Because I was getting a lot of pushback like we don't want you. Go on YouTube and see where they have all the comments for all the artists that will come there coming. You know it was me, it was Papa Road, she was um Rob Zombie. You know. It was rock fast.

You know I'm sizzling. So it's like, uh, a lot of people were on them comments. I read them too, and they hurt. You know what I'm saying, like, we don't this ain't hip hop fest. This is rock fast. You know Tech nine is gonna bring all the fucking black people there. I stopped me in the comments. I know my people that strengths been telling me that you gotta stop because I can see when you said that he was dead man. It gives me a fuel. It gives me a fuel. It gives me, It gives me fuel.

So you know, oh man, it ain't nothing worse than world Star Star hip hop for med star hip hop. For me, it's worse than YouTube, Oh my god star be like funk that Niggy corny, you know, like damn yeah, you definitely like I'm corny. I don't think it's a face past Instagram commics. I just I just when I was reading the com rock Fest before I did it, motherfucker's didn't want me there, Like what is he doing

at rock Fest? This is a rapper. They didn't understand that I did not fest with fucking slip Knot before, and I did other ship with Rob Zombie before, and I didn't work with Search talking of since him other down. They don't know I did a song with the Doors before Raymond's Eric died. They don't know all that. They just nigga red gang bangers, you know what I'm saying. That's how they saw. And that's like all the game bangers gonna be. We're not going this year funk that

and don't have techno. He does not belong Kansas City, in my hometown. So the rock they knew about all this. They knew that people were saying this. And Johnny Dare the motherfucker that made it happen, one of them, the big radio guys there. He was like, um, he almost had tears in his eyes when I was about to go on. He knew. He's like tech this for you, man. I was like, don't do this to me right now. Man, I'm gonna go out and kill this bitch. And then

motherfucker's lit up nigga all seventy thousand. I have my band with me. We tore down everything nigga tore down everything. Papa Roach was right there, and nigga Rob Zombie was over there. Seven Dust was up there. You know what I'm saying. Everybody was watching this yo town. Yes, and I was doing this because I never liked barriers. My nigger. We can't do this because we're black. We can't go here. We used to couldn't drink out of a fountain because

it was all white fountain funk. That nigga, you know, saying. We need each other to help each other up. So we do rock Fast, We do summer Jam with Kanye and motherfucking l A. You know what I'm saying. We do uh adim Fast with Excision and all the motherfucker's. I haven't took Molly on show. I'm trying. I'm trying to go, but I want to be in the idiom I want. I can't take. I got Mr Theys, I

can come Mr Mr Molly. Yea, let's right back into After I performed in Fast, all the comments changed, like wow, Tech nine made us see, oh yeah, you're now part of the pretty game. There was a lot of people who admitted that part of the say because it's like my fuel for what I rap about. You know what I'm saying, And I need to see what motherfucker's is saying because I'm still trying to stay afloat my you know what I'm saying. But I do what I do. I'm not doing it for nobody else. I just know

what Mother's saying. And sometimes I say something about in the rhyme. You know what I'm saying. You know, motherfucker's sometimes just say ship just to get a rise out of you, so you will respond to him, and you go to the page and they post it. Oh my god, Tech nine said something to me even though it was fuck you leave me alone. Yeah, yeah, you know what. Yeah yeah, when people waste my time like that, I said you and when I do look at you by mistake,

Oh you said something up block. I mean that ship Ti Tumbo nigger now to block on Twitter? Was iced? You said you can block without lem even knowing you like that, then you blocked them. So yeah, I made my I made my presence felt at rock Fest in Kancy. So that's been the biggest show I've ever done period, seventy thousand people in my hometown Kansas City. God damn it, man, let's make some noise, damn your affiliation with the blood

coming from Kansas City. It always takes people back like it's like wow, because you know, for real, like when we heard in w A speak about Compton, that was the first time speaking from an East Coast perspective, obviously, Um, that's the first time we heard about content. That's the first time we heard about gang banging. So then it comes to sixty a round and then we hear Little Rock, Arkansas, right, how far is that from Kansas City some hours a couple of hours, and we hear about St. Louis, we

hear and then we hear about Yeah. Yeah, it's just like yeah, just like can you describe that from from your perspective, because from our perspective, it was just like oh ship, But from we were like to have from York and the early eighties, some guys from thirty seven Street froughtown brom California, moved into the fifties. I stayed on fifty eight, explained focus. You know, fifties in Kansas City, the fifties of the street, the street number I stayed on.

My brother's um school, uh docc the yes, that's my that's my big Homie Um School, doc Um Texas will short Nitty. All of them were in the area of fifty six and it was this group on the next block from fifty eight called the fifty seven Street Road Dogs. We all went to school together. These are all my niggas. I went to school with seven. Oh yeah, oh yeah yeah yeah seven seven, So seven that's in the family. These are the niggas that I grew up with, you

know what I'm saying. And uh, the blood ship hit our neighborhood early eighties, like eighty four five migrated from the West like yeah yeah, thirty seven Street Foodtown, Brown, Dr Bob, nigga name Troy, his brother Troy, you know what I mean. Um, they were the niggas that had the money and they was the nigger that had the yeah yeah yeah yeah school purposes of coming to the Kansas City. I don't know what I don't know. I don't know. You have to ask my big Homi Big School.

I think they have family there, you know what I'm saying. I think Doc I mean Bob had families. The family there, you know what I'm saying. And uh, whatever it was, they moved from thirty seven Street Foodtown Brown. You know what I'm saying to Kansas City, And that's how to blush. It happened in our neighborhood. You know, I'm sizzling and scooby them. Um, they're in the like the trenches in that ship. You know what I'm saying. Man, I moved away from the block when I was seventeen. I run

away from home. I lived over there from twelve. My mom married a Muslim when I was twelve. Um, we moved on fifty eight and Forest, so I lived there from twelve to seventeen. Is when I witnessed Dr Botting him coming into our neighborhood. You know, I used to have a cock sportief jacket. You know what I'm saying. You never man with the little kangaroo on it. I'm not kangaroo, but con do to do? I don't. But I left my homeboy, Sean Gasaway, wear it up the street and he came aim to my house one day

after schools like man and blood niggas took mine. You're jagging off me because I have read on it, you know. So I said, let's go find him, nigga. So I found when he was skinning. Okay, No, no, No, that's what this is. In the midst of that, I didn't know what. Yeah, Chris was to Ice Tea Records. Yeah, yeah, we knew. We knew. It was niggas. Like when we

were breakdancing. It was dudes that was going back and forth, um to California getting mix tapes and ship are you talking probably like it's gotta be the eighties man, somewhere in the eighties and early eighties, you know what I'm saying, get bringing Iced Tea tapes back and they was talking about Playboy versus the Crip and all this ship before Colors, before all the tapes that they were making. Yeah, they grew.

Well that was later on we got I don't know if if Paru Love was in the eighties though, I got looked at it like you got the tape that on tape gotta be you gotta be. They gotta be the nineties, I think, I think. Yeah, it was right after the Right Yeah, the Public Enemy and yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. So um, long story short, they moved in our neighborhood, you know what I'm saying, and my niggas when I ran away from home, they got deep

into it. The jacket story. Oh we got, we got so we was going to go find Bob, the leader of the blood game. You know what I'm saying. We was all young, you know. So I said, hey, man, that jacket you stole from him shouting gas away. It was taller than me. You know what I'm saying, Bop was shorter than him. You know what I mean, Like Bob said, you gotta buy it back, little nigger. I'm like, I'm not buying my jacket. You ain't getting anything. I

turned away and walked away. You know what we're told. My father he's like, you should be working with them anyway. You know. So I never saw the cock sport teeth jacket to get it again. That's kind of rest in peace for his jacket. Yeah, but the story gets better. Hold on because I know that guy wished he would have give the jacket. Let's have a rescue peace moment. Three seconds one to three the cock sport teeth, cock sport teeth. So it gets better. So after I left, Um,

I ran away from home at seventeen. I want to go live with my Auntie Zither. You know what I'm saying. My stepfather called he's a MUSLIMI like you better get your heads back home. And I give a phone with my auntie and at this time, I'm like seventeen, you know what, and uh, She's like, he ain't going nowhere. My family never liked him because my mom had epilepsy and you know, and they never liked him because they didn't understand the Alla was just a different language for

the for the word guy. You know, arm leg lego on my head. You know what I'm saying, We just turned things turned into ship, you know. Um, they didn't know. They felt like that Ala was another guy, and so they didn't like that. My Christian mama married a Muslim, that's how yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah yeah yeah. So um, you know, my Christian family didn't agree with him putting her in the psychiatric ward when she had seizures, you know something. And I used to go visit her

there and she's like that they hated him. So when I went, when I ran away, they kept me like, you're not getting Dante's back. That's my middle man, Dante, You're not getting done to back. So I stayed with her all that time. I started really working on my rap, you know what I'm saying. My wraps and ship. When I did that, and when I turned nineteen, I moved my auntie Ivy, and I started selling dope for her,

you know what I'm saying. She she was selling little pieces for another naked you know, so I sell thirty dollar rocks when she wasn't there, you know I'm saying for her, and she like that. I was telling, no big ship, you know what I'm and uh, that wasn't from me. And I left there. I was a nomad. I moved in a lot of people's houses doing music. You know what I'm saying. I moved with my homie Icy Rock, a DJ. That's how I got how I got um that deal with Jimmy, Jimmy, Terry Lewis. You

know what I'm saying. He knew a group called Loki who was signed to Jimmy, Jimmy, Terry Lewis, and they got my music to Jimmy and Terry. Like hell, yeah, you know what I'm saying. But somewhere in like Ve we lost that deal. I came back and my niggas that I went to school with schoolby and all them they got with me, along with this producer named Don Juan, Like, hey, man, what you doing then? Day man? You want to do a record? I'm like, yeah, man, we just got off

a perspective wint doing ship. So I went back to my hood, back to my bloodhood, and we started doing music. You know what I mean. But you ain't never tell us how did that? Um? Because you said you said the jacket? How how did how did that hit Kansas City? Because you said they came and all that, How did you like this now when you went back? Is that one? No? No, no, I'm saying I'm saying in eighty five, that's how the ship got over here. Yeah yeah, yeah, and eighty five

and and all those niggas, those are my niggas. Like with so I'm a ride with my family. You know what I'm saying, all right with my family. If my family was that's what we're doing. You know what I'm saying that these are my this, this, these are guys I love, point blank period. You know what I'm saying to this day, Scooby and all of them, whatever it is, it's like I'm with them. Can everybody know it? Has

it ever been like uh yeah? Like like yes, because like when you perform like uh yeah, like talk yeah, yeah, it's beaches all cyah. But they love us though. They love us though. That's that's the blessing of check nine. They know my past and the niggas I'm with, but it ain't never been no ship with niggas like nigga. We don't kill you because of your color, you know, you know saying knock on wood. You know what I'm saying. It's it's like one time you feel all comfortable though,

just because of your affiliation. Uncomfortable with crips, anybody or anybody, anybody, anybody who had bet foot blood because of gang ship. Somebody robbed my big homie school be at gunpoint in front of his kids and tied them up, tied them all up. Oh God bless So we rode looking for niggas after that, and I had to sleep on his couch for the a k in case somebody came back.

And I just got married and ships and my wife was pissed at me and ship, but that's my nigga, and it sounds ignorant or whatever to people, but that's my brother though. And I didn't like that somebody would do that. And I happened to be some crips in the area, I guess, and thank the Lord, we didn't find him. You know what I'm saying. So but on the road and ship. You know what I'm saying, niggas are bang on you and ship trying to put seas on your chest and he stopped. Man, you know what

sound You know what that means. It's like if you yeah, yeah, yeah, I tried to Yeah. You know no, that's just like nigga, That's what it is like. No, No, I know you were you from from It's all loving her. Let's keep going. You know what I'm saying. You gotta diffuse that ship because they could really go. You know what I'm saying, gangshi, it ain't no pump. You know what I'm saying. It's really you know I'm say nig is just trying to

do it because they music and shoot. Oh list on that until they face with it and they were like, no, I'm not that. You know what I'm saying. I'm that because that's where I grew up. My mother, if she was still alive, she died from lupus, and if she was alive, she killed me. And she knew that. I chose a side because I was raised a Christian Boy, and then I had to study Islam from twelve and seventeen. So to choose something like that, we pissed them the

funk off of my stuff. Father knew that he would kill me, you know back then, you know what I mean. But I chose that because I love them dudes. I was so you know what I'm saying, Yeah, I said, back in the music for a second. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Wayne, Yeah, I know you gotta love him. You actually went to go see him in jail Ricker's Island, Man, You went to Rikers Island. Yeah, I'm not even want to see I lived twelve minutes. It was a it was a

it was a real sorry. It was a reason for it though, because when he first went in there, I guess phone Flex was interviewing him and he said, what you're gonna do when you get out? He said, I want to work with my man Techno and Andrew three thousand. I'm like, how does nigga know me? I'm the weird nigga. You know what I'm saying, Hey, you know me? You know what I'm saying. Music music travels, So I would we would do things in New York like, um, we do.

We would do things. Look, that's the biggest roach. You don't worry about it. I'm trying not to be stupid. You went to this stupid so you heard that. Yes, so we would go to New York to do like press week. So my blood homies, uh Inglewood, Mugs, big him hooked up. Wouldn't they get down to here? You name my choke I'm saying, you know my choke. What I'm saying, my chom fat Joan them hooked it up for me to go see Wayne to tell me thank you. You know what I'm saying. So you went to the

streets hook that up? You know what I'm saying. Really love man streets so much loved well, so much should happen even the first I just got from t I on my last record. You're not saying the streets got that? You know some big you and mugs a blood and working together. That's harmony. Yes, you know what I'm saying. Continue. So we got up there to Rikers. What do you say over here? Yeah? You go up there? So we went.

We was up there for doing our press. So the first time we went up there, they blocked us and say, no, I can't get in. Sorry, some ship happened on the inside, some kind of right ship. Understand, can't go we have I'm like, so the powers that be said you can go up tomorrow. Being my partner, Shop has went up there, and I'm like, damn, man, I never met Wayne. I'm gonnaell him. Thank you man. You don't have to say my name. That's a big thing, my nigga. I would.

I didn't expect nothing out of it. I just want to say thank you, my nigga. You know, I'm saying, you're showing some love. You know, what's the real? So um, we got in there and I was I was like, what am I gonna talk to this nigga? They said we got an hour? I said, what am I gonna say this nigga? We talked for three hours straight about everything about how Kanye came up there and did his

whole album for me, was sweating. He took off his jacket, was doing all this ship, you know, he said, he was just watching them like, damn you it's the table like this, you're sitting over there, waynes over here. Were just right here. We get touch woo. You knows it was cool by about it wasn't no window or nothing. So he said, Kanye came in and performed his whole record. You know what, I forgot what record. It was a big record obviously, but he said he did every song

for him a capella. My nigger yeah, yeah, the president. Yeah. So we ended up talking for three hours and the award and I had to say, okay, it's enough. So when we was walking away, he said, when I get out, my nigg gets on. I said, okay. When he got out, he told us to come down here to Miami to hit the factory. Hit factory. That's like, you know, I'm I'm like, yeah, hit factory. Yeah, I'm thinking I'm in New York. I gotta flight to New Yorker later. So

I'm like, yeah, you're already, you already. I'm a relaxed high you know. Yeah. So the engineer was Mike Banger at the time. Yeah. So when I went there to do the reverse, Wayne was in there. You know what I'm saying. I was like, thank you. You know what I'm saying. He gave me the beat. I said, what can I go? Right there? He said, Baby Studios over there is the all Red Ones And I'm saying yeah, like all real little yeah. Yeah. So sat in there for a while. I was already tired. You know, I'm

sharying running in. I'm like hot with the watch with the kid drives with a good problem and not with the bed not only get the reasons for the property creers. I hate motherfucker's better stop at the jil. I'll put up there with it. But you know, I'm writing the ship, you know what I'm saying, like right there, and I got tired and I was like, you write it fast too, No, it's just how I know it now. You started like how do you want to be like like like hots,

what it is? Hots? What it is? Watch what the kid drops? And get the props if you're not with the bid, if you're not with the bill, not only other regions. I really popped at the career. So hating mother, better stop with the jibs. You know, it comes like you gotta think about that, you know, But it's mathematics. It's the hardest thing because you wanted to pop at the pop at the pop, pop at the poper. But you know what I'm saying, it's mathematics. So it took

a minute. So it was three o'clock in the morning. I was like, I walked in the studio. They were still in there. It was Wayne, it was McMain, it was a nigger boo or somebody. Yeah, they was all in there session at twelve at night. They got, yeah, you know're tilling. I gonna stop my sessions. Me too, my early animal let go. But so I walked in there. I wouldn't finish with the wraps and booming. Them was

in there and some light setting negative. Wayne called his brother with DRez I don't know who he was, and it was a chicken there. And I came in and they was all looking I told the story before you know, people heard the sert. They're all looking up in the air like this. All of them was like looking up in the air. There was like some alien ship. Dude. Because I walked in, I just looked at him for

a while. McMahon was looking up like this, and Wayne was looking at like everybody boot All of them is looking up. And Wayne looks down to McMahon said what if I said, clear, does that make sense? And Blackman's here? And I said, they broke it. I broke this ship. Whatever it is doing, I say, man is it okay if I come back tomorrow. Man. He's like, oh yeah, man, come back, and I was like, thank you. That was the weirdest thing I ever said. I don't think it

was getting words out of the sky. I saw this with my own her in Miami. Dude, I'm like, what the funk were they looking at? That is sod? No, so on it. I walked in on I was in the other student did walk in on them one time and they just booke. Yeah. I don't know what they're doing. They were getting words out the sky the sky, yeah, Marshan, he says in Martian right, Yeah, he was in all the galaxy. Yeah, yeah, little Wayne, that's my motherfucker brother. I got a flight to check. I can perfectly do

this podcast without a shot. I don't understand why you are you the guy once to be sold a shot? Who's day? Who's day? Aliens took a piss something? All right, I'll take your shot. I don't shot, but I'll take a shot. Ye. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. You give me yours the hottest bottle on the market. All right, listen, can you get somebody who gave you this bottles? Alright? So I'm gonna do my ice and my shot because I like my shot, right cool, I don't. I don't

do no training wheels. I just take it. I need training. I got things to do to there, but not really. I'm glad it's not tequila though. All right, so you're gonna do the honest support the shot. Come on, is your motherfucker I did Dominican? I want to you're apparently trying to get you drunk. I don't mind. I don't want to get money. I don't be on here with y'all. Man,

The camera's got fale drop fans, he's got he's got a baby coming. You are, yeah, I got six spades. It's like it's the hardest thing of everything. Prep right now, man, get your shot. It's not right now. Three months. You know alcohol, It's just like alcoholic whenever you got the stuff shot three months. This mony Jack Daniels. See,

let's do it. Come on, he's a jack naa nameel. I would like, I'm not respecting the water shot right now. I'm not so you wouldn't none of that. I love you, you're my friend. You can take your shot for you water, so you can stand up. I'm just playing. Let's do it. Let's do one more shot. Come on for may made a shoulder that made it show. You can't have somebody else take your shot, Blackbird, I need to get into this story. What why is your wife

restricting you? Yeah? I just saw that they already mean I don't understand because she knows that Jack Daniels is his water. That's just this is admitted. This is a DREAMT even wanted. I wanted to do a detox and righting around the time we found out she was pregnant, I was like, you know what, the most important thing I could tie a dtox too. He's doing the pregnancy. Yeah, nine months a d to. I mean they need to. I'm pretty sad about a little. We're going on tour

on Monday. I'm using my my drinking partner for two of them. It's gonna be hard. The two months on tour is gonna be the hardest thing I'm ever now drinking. How many more months you're gonna go? Man, bottling is gonna I'm proud to reck. Honestly, I went for a long time. I had to. You're the only one I had to mother to make. I'm not reading all this ship's like that stands my racket. I'm gonna say I am not. I am proud of you at all. I'm saying you're gonna make up for the partner. You're gonna

come on. That's how I would do for them all. That's how I would dock. Are we ready? This strange music? A strange music music? No take nines click? I didn't got a whole blood as a roach. That's a ship. Do another one? They relaxed. You gotta drink for him. He wants to sleep on the plane. You gotta drink for him. Wait, but you're cheating with the ice man. Hey man, listen, I ain't never said. I never said I'm gonna do it y'all way. I'm gonna do it my way because I'm a I'm a different type of

person if I'm ninety seven Dames, thirty seven appnue. It was the cross streets between what's your what's from New York one one six eight. I like to understand. I like respect, the technique I'm gonna make you back today. I got respect, my friend, But today just drink chance. We gotta salute it. That's strength right there, man, that's strength in front of drink chance. Like when the cameras go off home and salute you like you came in here to drink for him and you're not even drinking.

What the fun is going? Mm hmm. Wait, but let's get back to something real quick. I want to go back to when Kendrick was touring. When he was he was so he was the hype man for Jay Rock that he was. It was. It was a hype man before um Kendrick came out. But the hype man that was with Jay Rock first, his name was m j J and he we were in Reno way after the show. You know what it was, you know if we were all connected, man, you know what I'm saying. And he

went out to talk to his girl. You don't say late night, you know, saying after the show, it's like three talk in the morning, maybe yea, and some niggas that was across the street at the gas station. They must have saw he had on a red shirt, but actually MJ was a crip. He was just wanting Jay Rock shirt. Yeah. Yeah. So they walked to was on the phone and to say you're all ready, and he's like, what's up? And they tried to square up on them, all three of them, I think it was three of

them get so cut. Calhoun came from the back of the bus and like you're trying to jump on my nigga, and then the dudes just start. One dude started shooting and hit him six times. He was still alive. I was talking to him like days after, like real niggas don't die. I'm like, you know what I'm saying, I just want to celebrate singing to him, He's like, we gotta do a song tech when I get out of this bitch and a blood clock took him away. So that's why Kendrick had to come out to fill in

for m j Right. Yeah, rest in peace, m j R. The first time we had any lost anybody on tour, Nigga, We've been going to Reno for years, my nigga, that's never happened. You know, it's so crazy that yeah, man, how many? Wait? Wait wait wait, but before we get I just have the Kendrick. What I wanted to get and talk about wasn't. So Kendrick came out, did you did you see? Oh? Yes, what us to come from? Kendred?

Oh yes, That's why people don't know that he was on a song before Fragile on All sixes and seven is called I Love Music. Because after he gave me that section eighty disc or whatever, I went home listen to him, like, damn, let's take it hard. So I sent him a song I Love Music. Nobody didn't know who he was, somebody from crazyhood. I could guarantee guarantee. It's not crazy. I think it's something from Okay. So nobody know who he was, but I knew he was talented.

You know what I'm saying. And that's a little bit. Did you ever think about I want to sign him to Strange? Well, when we signed Jay Rock, we had everybody, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we had everybody. You know what I'm saying. It's like we have first riding refusal all that ship. You know what I'm saying. So, which is which is Jay rockboar Q and Apps? And she said that man, no show on home to What did you just say? What I say? You just said

you had first rider refusal? You know what I'm saying. Yea, which is Kendrick Jay Rock? App? So school yeah music. Well, they didn't have an album, the CD. We were connected to him, so it's like we could do whatever. But then when Dre came in and say we want that, he was like, yeah, do you know give us so many Yeah, we wouldn't get in the way, you know. So we're just helping Jay Rock out, you know what I'm saying, Get him up a warner, you know what

I mean. And that's how it happened. I guess he met Dre at the the l A show on the same tour. He met on the tour, Yeah, when he was on the toy Yeah, but we did we play the House of Blues. We played the House of bluest him that j Rocks sister helped me out. Yeah. So after that, after he signed with DRE, I sent him, uh Fragile and Yellow Wolf was like, no, man, send it to me. Man, I got this, he said. I ain't been feeling music lately, man, and this really pushed me,

he said. Yellow said. I said, I sent Kendrick, but he was on tour. Yea, they sent it. They came to Kansas City to play me beats. Before we had our studio, we were still in fucking tapman, dude. And now they have a city. Yeah. Yeah, so's got a city, we got we got land, we got Strange World, we got strange works. Now, So what then is I saying? Sucked up? So they came to Kansas City and they played me all these beats. I'm listening like damn, and

Fragile came on. I said, who's beat is that? That's ours? But you can have it. I said, are y'all sure? Are y'all sure, y'all want to give this to me? Because I knew it when I heard it, Dude, Like, I got sure because they had kind and yeah, they just playing me beats so off this ship, like, if you want any this, you can have it. And I'm like, what that is so fucking love dude, you know what I'm saying. That gave me fucking fragile. You don't have

to give me that ship. We own this record, right, yeah, you own this record right? What you're talking about your own? I mean because we can play it right now. Oh yeah, we don't get DJH. We don't need to like clear and clear and clear go through in Yeah, and them too. They're gonna say, yeah, you know what I'm saying. It's just hold on, hold on. We all got our first plaque off of this record. Yeah, we did an man Yeah,

first of ago, I'm not the first black and second off. Yes, should have seen me a plaque from being friends strong record. Hold on, we're taking a bad but play the record though, right because we own them right now? To no no, no, no like that. It's a shame. It's okay, Okay, here we go the whole thing back. So Tech, what are you out here for the Mayday Show? All you was out here just because he was out here, I'm out here for this and the Mayday Show mission video as

well you know what I'm saying. Goddamn you take shot shot. Brother, Let me find out, Let me find out you, let me look look at it yourself. Look, I'm trying to go to sleep on my plane, y'all you're gon sleep for she's gonna go to sleep. I'm like, I'm one that's to my three hours of sleep. I had brother, You know, I thought you can't get to help people out. Look at you. I did come to help a little about him. Oh, I'm not gonna lie and look at you about the fly? Play right now the plane for

a half hour. What you use for your h your clean cut? Is it? Because I do it myself and sometimes miss spot some ship know his name is the Oh you have somebody do that. He's got dominic a person. You look like you'll still have your hairline if you grew your hair back. I tried to. It doesn't survive, no, you know, but my ship, my ship will grow though. Yeah I got I got full set ahead. Oh yeah, yeah,

me too. But it was stalking back there a full set yeah out No mean dress no, no, no, you want dress you like I used to drink chat you the wagon to he used to be me Molly. He was still back then, but I don't know if you're talking about he was used to bringing Molly. He is that guy for what's half second in my hand, I got stories like that in the war report. Don't throw me in the port. It was terrible, terrible whatever. I'm so sorry we went We went totally left. Right now,

It's okay, let's just have fun. Man, Yo, Strange music now made it. This is the direct question for you guys. This guy has set up this international independent hustle. How does it feel being a part of that conglomerate. I don't mean it feels amazing much. We're not that rich. I feel like we need to reach even more fans. Um. It feels like we were giving like a blueprint of like how to like make it and ship you know

what I'm saying. Yeah, Like I feel like, um, when I watched when I watched Tech and them, like we try and basically tour as much as he does, and we try and like put out records as much as

he does. And because we see that, like one of the main things that I think helped him was his consistency, you know, and fans could always depend on like a high quality, and yes, because the continuity, because that's a new world I learned personally, I love that I can, but yeah, no, so I mean I think that really

like was like is the learning curve for us? Was like it's huge, you know what I'm saying, Like when we got there, you know, and then obviously being amongst like the fucking best rapper in the world, Like I really think he's one of the illistans. And it's just because we had already been you know, we we go back, we've been around the block a few times, and we run into a lot of people with you know, amazing

talent level, but they're not genuine good people. Whereas that's strange from all the way from Tech to the newest artists that signed you get nothing but like very humbled down to earth, want to work like good motherfucker's that don't give a shit about like y'all let me get in front of you get this shot like they all

want everybody to win, which is just a beautiful thing. Now, let me ask you something because Tech a little too or earlier where he was saying that Wayne was interested in y'all and we all seen the video when you guys, um together or whatever. Well no, no, with Wayne walking the may Days, No, they were innimated they were in

the Wayne video. This is just it just comes to a testament how cool Way is as a person that they invited us there to basically be his band for the video and in between takes, like us not first of all, not being Hella Green, We like literally brought our our equipment to the video shoot, which you're just supposed to in your guitar and that's it, like even not an amp, and like really play, so we brought

all our ship. So in between takes we would just play and he would rap with us, so he would just like have a Really he had a great time just vibbing with us. So he to the other video and then after that, when he saw the shirts there, he just for the video without even had some grabbed the shirt and put it on for the video. His stylist everybody was like okay, like you know what I mean, they had to change every the people at the at the at the label, We're like, who are these Mayday people?

Why is he rapping them? Like do we need to funk with these people now? Because he is shirt and he put on the maida. Yeah, that man, I mean, and again it's just because he's just cool. Lest motherfucker doesn't care, and like I feel like it just goes up and into that story is that we we we opened up, we played a show our center. We opened up for Goodye Mom and nas amazing show. And then that was after the video shoot, and then that was a Saturday. Then Sunday it was Super Bowl Sunday. The

next day we're at to create. Everybody's chilling watching super Bowl. We get a call. They're like, Wayne, he was about to go he was about to go away, and he was like, Wayne wants you to play his going away party Sunday night on the beach, Like it's in three hours. And we was like you know, we were like, okay, we got some time. Plex being the impulsive when that he is ran out like Loki ran out the door. He was like, let's go. What do I need? What

equipment do we need? We ended up playing his going away party that night. It's crazy. He shows a lot of in one weekend. And these guys are so professional. They're rocking with instruments as well, they run. These are rappers you ever met in your life as well. Don't get it twisted. But they're rocking with equipment and we're going to a rap show where they would not expecting equipment at that show. And that was insane that these guys professionalism set up and we're able to do a

show us against the room. Drake was in there, and Drake was just starting to get persis for me right now, Wait the fucking Luis and made it. Were supposed to make some looks a strange music. I supposed to night. You'll listen, man. We did what we had to do because we had to do it, and we love doing it doing it. I feel like it's one more shot.

It's left, and it's definitely shot. One more shot. Yeah, because you gotta stop to relax relaxed, relaxed with yeah again, I don't give me back to chest, stop smoking her. And if you want to like another one nowhere because you know why you don't want that. Mother liked one for me. Yeah. We turned half to Jamabe. You know, you know you do you know? Do you know I did a song when I said we're in a club like that, I did I did that? Yeah, I did that. I forgot what song it was like, you've got like

nine thousand saws. Yeah you y. I rhymed it thought like go out to dine. I got you got you getting naught out from mine? You know. Rhyme's gonna take this in me that man. But I don't know what's there. I forgot what you talked about on all on my song or I have with you and you was like Molly some ship. You and Molly have beet for a little while. Oh yeah we did. What happened? It almost killed me. I like Molly. She never did not even

bad to me. But I say, I got. I got the money to keep it coming in abundance, and you do too, the same. But I didn't want it to stop. I don't want it to ever stop. You know, learn my lesson from Mexico coming flat Bush, I said, wait a minute, from taking singles to double stacks to triple stacks too, for triple stacks and all that kind of stacks. Yeah, I went to triple tacks, you know what I'm saying, triple stacks. After that, you go to pure m DNA,

you know what I'm saying. The little capsules. Now, when we talk about that, are you talking about you? You're breaking pete because look I don't know if you're not chemist right now, take to the pace. Molly back then comes in like like a little capsule, you know what I'm saying, Like you're taking medicine and you can break it open. And if it's a group of people, we break it open and put it on the table. You

know what I'm saying. You put lines as many lines you can make, and you lick your finger and you do your line bound. Your line is one thousand. Let's brought a line cocaine. Guys like yeah, yeah, it's like you know he real with it because he wiped it down like you know, like you Yeah, some people wouldn't like that. Some chips you like, put up their nose and ship like that. I never did that. I know people that they wanted benches, wanted their asks. Yeah, they

wanted there. They want the pills in their ass. But it caused in the linkt and link its, you know what I'm saying. No, I haven't dealt with that. Yeah, I never. I'm just I know this has been just like this is one in the man asks. I think this is want of somebody to put it in their ass, you know what I'm saying. So they would have something in there, so I say, put something else in my ass if you put a pillar in my ass. For some reason, I feel like we've been in the same tour.

I met a couple of chicks that in their ass, and I'm like, you gotta go do it, my nigga. I'm not going to put it in the guys. Hope for you guys right now. No, I never put it in the ass. I never never. It was just talk. I'm like, you never had it in that. I'm like, no, I never got a look at my look cheat, you you ain't get give me small. Let's telling my ship. That's I got you. That's an honor. That's nig pulled. My shot was pop Dad, you got yours over he had.

Don't respect for me, you gotch respect, Vote TV, strange music, crazy hud entertainment, drink chance. This is what we do. We celebrate our motherfucking hip hop legends while they are alive. They flowers where they can smell them, give them their trees where they can help them, give them their thoughts where they can think them. We give them their drinks where they can't drink them. I want to break a lot.

I think I want one more guys, you know what we're talking about, to forget about you know what, because nine they want to salute you guys. We want to respect you guys because a lot of us what happens there. People have success and when they humble themselves down and they gotta go independent, it's almost like, damn, I gotta pay for this. I gotta pay for this. I gotta pay for this, and a lot of us get distracted. Of course, I want to salute y'all. I want to

show respect to y'all. I want to actually really salute y'all for sticking with it, believing in yourselves and going out there and doing what you gotta do to get what you gotta get. To make sure everybody and y'all you know, expect Strom is doing what they gotta do because a lot of people get distracted. I got distracted so many times being dependent. I really hate it because it's because I was so spoiled. I've been you know, flat gold albums, and after we lost that thousand on

our first tour. You have to have you have to have the balls and to get up to say we're gonna do it again, do it again. Yeah, because if you lose that my money be like a tour buses and all that kind of ship. You know what I'm saying. Now we go out with so many tour busters. You know what I'm saying. It's beautiful saying yeah, but we want to thank you all. I want to thank you all for getting funked up a little. By the way, I still have my project. I still have my and

I'll finish these two and we got two more. It's okay, it's okay. I'm so good, Okay, so good good. It's just a quarter Rican Cuban shape. We do listen man, drink champs. We are for the culture and by the culture with a new food book exactly. And then arab and Cameras podcasting and the Arab and came up podcasting, a dj MC got together and we wanted to celebrate our culture. The thing about our thing is we don't bring people here and try to take them down. We

get fun with them. We have fun with them. But at the end of the day, our things about bick en up legends and can making people continue to to funk with our people because you know, they got Motley Cruel and they got entertainment tonight and they got all this, and I always thought, like, where the funk where his our ship? And then the offense the whiz our ship, And he said, we're already making this is what it is. This is a live source magazine. You get five mics

right here time and we're gonna continue. You know, so many people hit me and we did these interviews and say my ship is charting again and that ship, but that's not what we're doing it before. We're doing it because we're sincerely believe in you. Yeah, I appreciate it. You understand we sincerely believe in you. So that's where we continue to do it. You can teue to pick up all legends may day. We love you wonderful. Sure, we wish you everything. I wish I could be here.

I'm going on the right now before we get out of here. Thank you also because you've helped me as well. So it's really and tech is my tech. Um. I just I would like to bring you to this other like form of life. What I mean by that is, I'm sure you're sure seeing it all. For so many people that I know that are artists struggling on majors and they just don't know the other outlet. They don't know it. The thing is, you can't call them stupid, you can't call them dumb, you can't call them nothing,

because they just don't know. They just feel like, all right, cool, I'll make a record. Gave it to such and such Tommy Sussa and Tommy smug, you know, and Tommy gets emotion emotion, and then they say, damn, my ship ain't work. The thing is you just hiring higher help. You're not having a whole structure to see why it works. And the thing is me looking from the outside and I know that's what it is. And the thing is we have to spread that. That's what thing to drink Champs.

We've got to help each other, help each other, no doubt, we need each other. If you got the mastermind to being independent, I think that it's not only a becoming artist that coming see strange music, but it's also established artists, people that's legends and people that you respect. Yeah, you know, I'm saying we signed merge. You know some people would listen to for years. You know, I'm trying to say, we got to continue that because if you have the

method to the madness, let's come over here. We'll be fair with you because this is what we this is what we're preaching, correct, and it should come to you. Why should there be these other independent I don't want to name all names because I got it right here. I don't please you're not name syllable exactly because I'm yeah, you know, but that's what I'm saying. We gotta keep the key, you know, representing that that this is there's a person and I have to say black man, but

I don't want to say that. If this is a healthy entrepreneur that has the method to winning, and there's other people who have the method to wanting to win, they should be referred in your direction of my bucket. You're absolutely correct. Yeah, Hopson came out way. You know what I'm saying, before you fail that you can do his own you know what I'm saying, Um, did you almost good? Mother? I could have swore him was going

to Strange at one point. Yeah, they made some statements like they wanted to write, you know, saying they were interested in coming to Strange, but it never did material life. You know what I mean? A lot of people come our way, you know what I'm saying with it, it has to be one thousand though. You know what I'm saying, What do you mean by that? It has to be good?

You know what I'm saying, it's has You know, everybody we have on the labels because we love their music, we just put them on his own, just be put on his own. You know, it can't be just the name. You have to be doing the product at the same time. So right now, the hottest artists, bubble people people, people have been telling me to sign xx x tinsion or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

how you say it's good? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Uh. Vanessa Vanessa from double XL said you need to sign this kid, you need to sign his kid, and she turned me onto him because I'm in my own world. I heard about him, and I heard about the phone Ki's having and all that kind of ship. You think, all like, I don't want to he gotta stop this is Drake. Other than that he got to stop dicing Drake. Yeah,

I think that's start. Yeah. You know, if he realized that he ain't got to just nobody to get his mother fucking momsy flow money. You know I'm saying, it's like, you ain't gotta do that ship and I think about that. That's a perfect fucking ship. Yeah that strange, Yeah, I mean that's what she said. Yeah, yes, she said. But I've been seeing him with Gus lately, so maybe maybe that's as an empire. Yeah yeah, all day me too.

So maybe maybe that's what it is anybody part of because that's that's the thing that I got from four four four album, right, And I hate to keep bringing it up, but that's I love that album. That's an amazing album because what he's preaching is why should I compete with you when I could eat with you? And he's preaching maturity number one needs. So the thing about it this maybe guys that got him on the radio, but maybe guys you don't guy him on that tour circuit. Yeah,

all of us play a part, play a part. That's a bit of thing. Like to me, that's what hip hop is missing, no doubt. Listen, you know what I you know, one day, all right, I'll tell the story. One day I go to Vegas. Right, So I got I gotta thinks, you know, handling my business? I know him, you know, I don't really So they're like, yo, Scarface wants to go last I've been through that, and I'm my people are like, Na, Mary's going last. I'm in Las Vegas. Yeah, what was wrong with me? He's not

saying relax, scar face to yourself. This is this ecstasy days. This is ecstasy days. So I'm like, I got a story like that. They say some ship and I should have said no, no, let's go on, face go laps. But I'm you're shore alright, cool nigga can't know artists come on at the marry Mary Mary Mary Mary Mary Jane Mary. Man. You can't, Niki, you can't come on after that. Buster Marns might say you gotta relax, ship all you gotta do and say what what? What? What?

I let that motherfuck cool off? I said, scar, I said, who said? This was just something handing me and say that word up And then he came back to me and you a found me. But this is what I'm trying to say. So, how do you go worldwide and you don't give a funk wherever you are? No, that's because you all the headliner. Let's keep it real. You had a story like Man's. It's good at yours keeps your cold. He's the cold body. Nobody don't watch this. She just wouldn't about to have go on from some

nigger in Kansas City like she's the queen. She ain't. She ain't about to go on before no nigger but my town. And I wouldn't trip in, you know what I'm saying. I was like, ship, if she want to go on, let her, you know what, after me, it's cool, you know what I'm saying. I get a fuck, but I've seen it was like she said, and I went through that with rock Cam. I went through that with UM. I went to what got describe like mother fucker's didn't want to go on without me before yeah, yeah, before me,

yeah yeah yeah. But was the hardest because you know, my mom was there and she wanted to hear her saying. You know what I'm saying. So I gave her the slot, but the slot where she was supposed to play, it was just an empty stage and everybody just had to wait for that tour, you know what I'm saying, the spot she was supposed to play, you know what I'm saying. And then I went on after that and gave her

hers after that, you know what I'm saying. And then the security try to push this out and I'm like, nigga, no, we're not moving that my mom want to see. Go get your boss. You know what I'm saying. Even though she tried to pull a rank, you know what I'm saying, it was nothing. It was trying to kick you out. Yeah, like you gotta get off the stage. I'm like, no, no, I don't. This is my mom right there in the chair. No, we're not We're not moving. I gave up my spot

for her. I'm not giving up my mom's spots. Sorry, y'all. Tank. We know who you are, we know who we're gonna know. I don't give a funk about Tech Night right now. I think I'm talking about my mom. Move. Oh just move all our way. So I'm wrong. You know what I'm saying, You Tech mom and mother, we gotta you, gotta gets you, gotta gi thank you, thank you, thank you. What is it? Three Champ shirt and Champs cup. Oh yeah, I'm wearing this ship. That's what y'all calling. That's form

my side, that's type, that's room. We gave two sides just kids. I don't Oh yeah we got ship in here at homes By that album. Got damn it. You gotta you gotta listen to Yeah, this is going down to my bar man. You gotta take a smoke. You smoke, all right, so listen rightstand. I didn't understand how did this thing come off? What happened? Was you like you woke up drunk and cheeseburger, but you asked who would

you ask? I gotta pent this question right now when your wife Okay, I got I got twins on the way. It's my first kids. Trying to compete with call Yeah, I guess it wasn't on purpose, but we got talks on the way, and I figured, for the first time ever in my life, I'm gonna go you know, I'm gonna go clean, I'm gonna go dry, sober. It was you on y'all. Yeah, yeah, definitely life at all. No, no, no, my life never Now she's a gee, but be honest, she challenge the pregnancy you did? You did? You were

the first want to call it? Actually we had dinner and we we we met up at uh yeah yoakies, and you're like, yeah, let's list. Actually I was drinking still then I hadn't decide because it took me a little while to be like, am I gonna do this? And I could commit to this. You know, like I knew she was pregnant that night I was drinking. She wasn't drinking, and then she said, no, I'm not drinking. I got a headache. And he's like, or you're pregnant. I was like, goddamn, like right out the chill, or

you're pregnant. I could tell if someone's not drinking. There's a yeah, you called. You were the first one to call. So are you're pregnant too? You gave me the out of you you gave me and you looked at me too, you look like, look, what is it? Drinks artificially, know, but but for real? So you feel like if you drink it messes up your white that's not I just figured, like my family's British, right, so we are drinking. Is in my family drink? Yeah? So that's you know, that's

where you're drinking. That's where you love for drinking comes from, because that's what we do in England. You drink socially. It's just like when your pipes made. Oh yeah, you drink of pine. You're like, it's made, it's made. Is that that's a gotta Australia. I love I do love to drink. So when when I figured I was gonna if I was ever going to be able to go

a little bit without drinking, because I do. I've been drinking, you know, since I started drinking, and you know, I've been drinking whatever, ten plus a year is easy, and um, I figured the only way for me to maybe take a real detox was to tie it to something that was as monumental as like the birth of my first kids, you know, at the twins that I got on the way.

So I figured I'm gonna tie in to that, and then I'm gon, yeah, I'm gonna pray for the best because I'm three months in now, so I got six months left, respect, and then I'm back with events. Respect when we're drunking high enough for him, we drinking six kids. I just realized as I was telling you this, I'm telling listen, okay, respect, listen, Man, I got six kids. Do every pregnancy for all six kids. I'm not coping with me right now. Really, I don't like, man, You're

the only one to did. Listen. Man, it was strange music. Mayde and my brother right here right burn like we got more champagne even and we got more. Listen man, hip hop. We don't have enough of hip hop celebrating hip hop. So instead of me and my partner d J e. Fen sitting around and complaining and saying people hip, why don't people sit around and you know, you know, salute Norty by Nature and care U's one man, you know,

and Naas or Jay or Marb team. We didn't want to sit around and complain about that ship, you know we wanted to do. We wanted to do the exact opposite and just fucking sit around and we're here. We are showed them respect. So Tech nine, if you never heard it, you did hear it, You're gonna hear it again, your motherfucking legend. Thank you. We appreciate you, dude, for

hip hop. We appreciate you set out for hip hop for everybody that if you want to be independent, it's a whole, a whole blueprint, it's a whole fucking format. Who want to thank you for that?
