He's a legendary Queen's rapper, Hang Sego's a Miami hip hop pioneer. What up is d J e f N? Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in

music and sports. Me the most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts. This is drinks Chip Rate. A Wary Day is New Year's eighty and U d J E F and the Drake Chas motherfucking podcast. First off, off top, I gotta say I miss you guys. I haven't seen you guys. I feel like even in the World tour two weeks right, but you know it's crazy. We have episodes holding us now, so the faus don't do that. But the fans is still one out. There's

there's a confusing voters. We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna clear everything up right now. Oh yeah, like that's clear it up for me. Just tell them because but leading Offensive TV just the problem we keep saying into him. We're thinking it's about to pop off. You know, we're working behind the scenes with Revolt. We got a new deal Revolt. For anybody who doesn't know from previous episodes, I got a new episode deal with Revolts that's gonna launch.

Supposed to be launching early July. Turns out we're gonna push it back for more promotion and whatnot. And we are officially ending our terms with CBS. This will be our last episode with CBS. Big up CBS. Want to shout out everybody at CBS. Everybody. We made history with CBS, so let's make some noise and now we're going our audio is going to be coming out through a new company, not a new company, but no, no, no, we want

to test them house. No, no, we know, just later once it comes out back in first Yeah, just so you know, miss to the hot Bottles, kill people, Hot bottles, the champagne. Then she got a wig on it. This one blows up. So so yeah, that's that's what we're doing. What's been going on in the hip hop hip hop has been crazy, Like I want to pick up every days struggle to Joe Buttons and DJ Academics was crazy. I thought that was a hilarious that was killed it

with the whole means the Prince joints. Yeah, I think I think Joe Button's is doing a great, you know job. Something happened after what everybody saw in the in the video that anything pop off, anything that I don't know, I didn't hear nothing like it ran down Chris Brown. Yeah, but yeah, I gotta show love to Chris Brown, love for his acts. Like he's not even one hund no more.

But yeah no, but Crebl's day. You know, he's like Nina, nobody can't have my old big respect that to respect that listen if it was once minds and you in my industry, you should never go around that like I for one of this, like that I'm that petty, So I got a salute Chris Brown pettiness. I respect respects him, you know, I'm that sunny DBT you got or is that the way he's say, caru cha cow Bunker's all great hold or whatever you want to call a collect if you need. But the thing about it is this,

obviously he felt. It's a certain type of respect. You know, we're in the same industry. You shouldn't date somebody in the industry. So I kind of respect that, Like I kind of think that if I broke you into this game, nobody to know you, and then now we you should go for a wrestler, you know what, who's this me goals and Chris Brown? But she should have you know. Maybe I'm wrong because I like she's cool Jacob Yorker as a manager. But I see where Chris is coming from.

It's like a guy in the same industry, maybe a different genre of music because one is rap, one is R and B, but pretty much it is the same thing. So if Chris is coming from that angle, I gotta understand you know what I mean me personally, but yeah, like I said, she should. Um, you know I got a CEO from UPS. You know what I mean. You gotta relax and stay out the energy. What else been going on in hip hop? I mean, you know, we had some terrible news with the passing the Prodigy friend

of yours. Yes, crazy ship is uh and you know what the Champagne I think? So no, Um, well let it cool now, the Crazy Ship is. Come on, come on your taping, that's what. So the Crazy Ship is uh uh. For those that don't know, I've been filming um food show. Right, so when I'm on the running on the right eating you know what I'm saying, I'll blow up. I think they want to do the press release so I won't say who or whatever. Um, So they had to, you know, get me my dates, right,

the dates that I was supposed to have. So I picked Las Vegas. They came back because it was E d C weekend the Electronic Ship. So they told me, you know a lot of restaurants didn't want to give it up because you know, they're gonna have a lot of clients and all this stuff. Right, So they said why don't we switch it to New Orleans? And I was like, nah, you know what I mean, I want Vegas.

But as soon as I look up the phone with them, I was like, I don't get if you go to New Orleans, like if you know, but I didn't let them know that, so they kept calling back. I was like, na in Vegas. I fought for Vegas, Vegas, Vegas, Vegas, Vegas. We thought we was gonna have no celebrities there, you know. So the last minute, the guy calls me said, you know you're sure you on one Vegas and I said, yeah, I want one Vegas. But but if he would say your please just work with me, like let's go to

New Orleans, I would have went. But for some reason, I said Vegas stuck to my guns. Boom Land out there. Come to find out the auto rap toys out there. We're thinking we gotta get talent um the auto rap toys out there. So I had way Kwan, and I said, your way Kwan. I want you to do my food show, and ray goes, of course, but I want you to do my show if I'll be your set. So the day of the show, Raymonds got caught in the air poured or you know, his phone or I don't know.

I don't know exactly. So we couldn't get in contact with Ray. So when we were supposed to film him, we replaced Ray and we put iced Tea in a whole different spot and we feel nice Tea that day and so that night, I'm still supposed to perform Ray Kuam, we still didn't speak to him. To that night, to the next day, I didn't speak to Ray Kuam, so no so on access to me. I right, because my food show too. So they said they said the same thing. Ray said, all right, cool, you will do the Food show,

but you gotta come out on our set tonight. Being that you ain't coming out with Ray, I said, all right, cool. Onyx came on directly right after Mob Deep. So here's the deal. I wasn't supposed to be in Vegas, supposed to be in the walls, wind up going to Vegas, wind up performing right after them, and the crazy ship is I was on the wrong side of the stage.

So I was one of the last twenty people probably in the world to give Prodac your five real ship, and the motherfucker got off stage gave me a five Sunday was right there. I got a five. Gave up five for real, gave up five, um have it. Gave me the fan five, you know, the fan five. And you didn't recommend just giving the duty five. And then he stopped. She was like, oh, ship, it's like yo, Normy. I was like yo. Noise cues from getting y'all both drunk tonight and proud as he said, I got you,

I'll be back. I don't feel well. And he walked off. And this was the last time anybody ever seen him, went to the hospital. So what I'm trying to tell you is it was like so it was almost like God wanted me to see see him one more time. You know what I'm saying. We hung out in New Year's you know what I'm saying. We got to chop it up. We got to you know, put everything in the past. But it was crazy, man, it was crazy

because I've seen his eyes look white. Now. I can't say that that was a sign, because you know, he has had sickle yes and forever. The heat was unbearable, whole West Coast couldn't It was, yeah, two o'clock in the morning, it was a hundred and nine. It was like I never experience I think at what at one point of the day it hit a hundred and twenty four. It was, Yeah, so we want to say rest in peace. You know what I'm saying the Prodigy man, everybody that's

just all chill, have a moment of silence. Were correct? Rest in peace? Pe man? You know so you know, Um, we had drink Tamp. We're gonna celebrate his life, you know what I'm saying, as if we wasn't before, because we were. We celebrate all our hip hop artists. I see master p. That was people are tagging us on because Masterpiece said, damn, you know, like you gotta get these people they flowers And that's been a slow been the whole time, you know what I mean? And that's true.

Like that's what Drink Champs is. It's like, you know what I mean to me Carris One and it's one of the best artists in the world. So when I said that on Drink Champs, I wasn't like playing around or trying to, you know, pick up something that I don't believe in. And um, you said, you got ice coming, man, I need to pop this though. Now you got skills if you ain't got the skills. I'm not sure. So so yeah, I loved it with master P. You gotta you, gotta, you,

gotta hold it down. It's verious, very very so. For anybody who didn't see the master P thing, Let's explain. He was upset because BT did. I don't even know much of what they did, but they didn't. BET changed the award show just just for him, And he was saying that maybe if this would have been a month ago, a week ago, probably wouldn't be allowed even to go

to the BT. I thought that myself. So he's basically saying, what what our slogan is here is honor and and pay homage to to the legends and getting their respect wile they're alive. Go ahead, guar See, go ahead, Gardee went off out here. That's what I'm talking about. Very proud of you, by the way, guard see knocking out videos and all that ship. What's what's gonna see you Instagram again? That gar Sea his world. Make sure you

see him. He's coming up in this world. He's about to be the next hype Williams Cheeze, Luise Papa Cheese. Let's still it. But yeah, I loved what Masterpiece said. I thought that he represented hip hop. He did, he did, he said it from the heart too. I thought he represented hip hop, right, Uh, And I thought I thought, I thought that that that's that's kind of a bad thing. Where that's the thing about it. When I've seen all of the love and um respect that he's receiving, I

just I just couldn't help but think that that. Man. Maybe I think also it was a shock because it was so unexpected, very unexpected. Hip like hip hop was just shocked by it, you know, didn't expect something like that to happen then. And maybe in other cases, not in all of them, but in some cases you kind of saw it coming, or someone might have been living

reckless or something something happens. That wasn't the case with Prodigy, all right, Na, Man, So we want to try to could we gonna try to call a couple of people, you know, a couple of people from the industry and see what set who picks up? Man what I'm saying, But we're gonna celebrate his life tonight. I'm not gonna be let me have a drink. I should have got Penot Greedier. That's what I should always drink one, you've been on your bid should happy lately? And the beer

belly showing you know, cross fact pros facts. Yes, we'll try nothing to call And that was Yeah. The social media was flooded with just R and P Prodigy anybody in the account a right, I don't following that many people, but everybody had RP account I mean RP shout out, which which is a great thing. Usually I'd be upset with social media of just you know, kind of people following the trends. But it felt real, genuine like everybody reacted and hip. That's what I felt about BT though,

because I think it was different. You know, obviously there's a bunch of people who haven't been to a ward show since two thousand and one. Brother, maybe awards that we went to. No, no, yeah, that was it. That's two thousand four right, that was here in my head. That as the last as the war show I've been invited to. So if something happened to you, whoa you except Marble Terrible got a little? Would it be okay for the show to give you problems? I mean, say something?

What are you talking about? So morbid? What do you want? Man? Listen? Man? About it this day. It's not bad to give a person props when he's gone. It's bad that you didn't give him the same amount of when he was here. That's the point we're trying to make. The point you're trying to make is yeah, the artist. It's it's like, it's like you've never seen a person as a vesu W. Every when they at the funeral, they describe him as this this perfect guy, even though he's not a perfect guy.

But maybe if somebody ever told that guy that those stoughts that he felt, maybe this guy wouldn't be in this position. And that's just the things that we gotta do in hip hop. We gotta start praising all legends. We gotta start putting cool Hurricane care, arrest one and and rock him. I got to see Busy be on the road. I got to see Curtis blow on the road. I got to see you know what I'm saying. I got to see that and and pay how much to them? And I'm saying to me, I want to do drink

lamps And I'm like that's dump. Like I'm like, WHOA, Like you know what I'm saying, Because all I wanna do is just big up the culture. And if if the culture continues to do that, I continue to, you know, say how much I love a granddaddy? Are you? And then people start and that's just what it is. We just have to give love and we have to do that. Why they're here and and and I'm not not to say that it's not to celebrate them when they're when

they're not here, but let's just make it. But to say, way off what you're saying, because we got a lot of flak off of the amber Rose episode and a lot of these a lot of our fans don't understand it, and they're like, oh, you guys said legends only in this time, this is what and this is how I saw it, and I'm pretty sure it's how you saw it. We're more valuable to the legends if we're relevant to everybody and a lot of our audience. We're not limiting

ourselves to the legends. We are just the home base for them. We're gonna pay homage to them, you know, where where we're they're appreciated, but it's not exclusive to them. That's that way. When they come here, we we we brought in their audience. New people find out about them because their fans come to us, you know what I'm saying.

And I just love the fact that, you know, I don't argue with people like when people I know we did say legends only, but you know, at the end of the day, and was a legend in our own right, you know what I mean. Like, maybe it's not a hip hop legends, maybe not with music, but just the fact that she came from not thing and just came and just made it herself something that is. But to me, that is hip hop, taking yourself from nothing and making something out of it. That to me is what hip

hop is. Like. You know, I don't I don't know if an artist who came in this game already rich, but um, that's that's the ultimate story, you know what I mean. So let me let me try to make another phone call. Yo, brob Marks when you live with the drink Chance, what's good? What's good? It's good? Glaurie Man said, yes, Man's going whatver? What up? You know? So look, you know this is our tribute episode the Prodigy, So we wanted to get some thoughts on you real

quick man. I think privacy is one of the greatest, most influencial on sees to ever do it like. You know, what I hope people really understand is that that brother was dealing with simple sell at some times, like and lived his life and pain and the way he articulated, I mean went when he says rocking on your face, staff your brain with your nose bone like that, that that's him taking his pain. Or I saw it as him taking his pain in his real life and be able to describe it to you, you know, in the

most vivid way, you know what I'm saying. So it wasn't just a street. I think people see mar D, people see Pridacy, and they see the street definitely represented the streets. But that brother was a poet to the way he took his own hills and his own life and turned into the soundtracks to our lives. And I hope we never forget that. I hope we never forget that too. But what kind of what kind of hit

do you think that hip hop took from this? You know, I think whenever we lose our pioneers, I'll go to It's a storm blow man, to to hip hop man, because you know, hip hop is just now with the age where we're getting old, you know, like like into the rolling Stone years. When you when you see guys like jay Z still doing it, you know, people understand this is this is a genre that everybody said was a fat and wasn't gonna last. And to have a guy like Prodigy, you know, when he was coming up,

the biggest rappers might have only got three albums. They might have had like a five year career or five year run. I prod that he was on the twenty year month he dropped a new album this year, Um the head Gaileyan dialected, you know when he was still doing it. So you know when when we was a guy like that, you know, it's a major blow because our pioneers now have twenty year careers and prod of his career was not over. He was still creating. He's still doing it. So man, it's a major hit. Man,

We're a major hit. The funerals today, we hope everybody go out there and support the brother, you know what I mean? And so what what what? What? What what should Mark Deep fans do from here? Like, um uh, should we pressure Havoc you know, like to to have another album because you know, I'm sure they got a mad material in the thing or should we just let let let that music die? Um? You know, I think that's for having uh and the pride that she sent me too, you know, kind of figure out like they

know him best. So it's just it's this material, that pride that she would have wanted the world to hear. And if so, then yeah, hold on, I'm still on the bus shout of this New York city. Yes, that's that's what's up. That's what's up. We like people on the bus. Nigga, let's go good hood, you know. But no, Um, you know I think that um, just having and and pro family feel like this material ship should come out,

then it should come out. If it's something that project wouldn't want us to here, we should respect that because he's given us enough material. But you know, I actually spoke to him. He he has albums done, right, he has albums of his own. I know for a fact that he had told me was finished and and and ready to be released. Um, so hopefully we'll see those man. Yea. Well, Well, well, thank you Rob Marksman. Man. You your go in this game. You know, we respect you over here and we appreciate

you taking your time out. No, no, I love you knowing, man, I don't want to have one thing. If I'm baby, then I don't know what you'll discussed, man, because I'm just jumping on this conversation. But you know you're and proud of these relationship was very very important because I think we can all learn your polishes. Relationship is no secrets that you would mind him and and then then you know, and he had an admiration to you. But there was times in your lives like y'all didn't necessarily

see how I I wasn't clicking. Um. You know, I've had personal conversations with you about p and and and how you wish things could could be better when they weren't better. And I had conversations with me about you. And he's expressed to me personally and I don't want to portray his confidence rescu peace, but but he did

expressed to me personally. At least I know that he was proud of you when you went out and did the strict chats that how your career went, you know, and and the fact that when he passed, the fact that that you two guys weren't good standard, you know, and and and it's important so so everybody listening, man like, you don't give the people the flowers, why they can

still smell them. A lot of the problems that we have with each other, maybe Petty and I know you, I know you King Petty Noriy, but you know, when it's important, we can get past the pettiness, show each other love and and the fact that you and him, you know, when he passed, were in a good place and that that means a lot. So so I was listening, man like, getting a good place with your people, man, because you never know, bensms not problems, and a lot

of these problems we can overcome for realm. Yeah, we'll make some morse fors marked and everybody'll think you later. You got my brother Rescupes prodigy world up. Yeah that was that was deep right there. And hold on, hold on, get him on the line, all right. But yeah, that was deep right there. I liked it that. I liked that, Rob. Yeah, you know what's going on, Junker, you live on the drink champ. Make it was good following on the drink Champ. Yo, listen,

you are one of the most requested guests. I don't know if you know that. Everybody always say we need jungle on there and you're coming up there, I'm gonna pull up and then we're gonna chop it up. Yeah, we'll be in New York soon, so we're gonna we're gonna make that happen. But today's show, you know, obviously be picking up a QB legend right now, Prodigy. So I just want to get your thoughts on that real quick, man, r I P. Prodigy man, you know what I mean?

We all knew he was sick man, especially a lot of people that was close on from Queen's Bridge. You know, he was sick. He used to go to the hospital sometimes and we we he used to He used to talk about himself not having a long lifespan. But you know, we knew this ship since we was kids, but we never expected the day to come, you know what I mean. And I should really fucked everybody up right right right right? So, um,

I see y'all on the block that day. I think it was you, uh that was on Twils Street right yeall was yeah, Yeah, I had to go over there with the crew. Man. I went out. I just came outside. I want to see the bridge. I wanted to go on twis you I'm from Vernon forty side. I'm from forty side of Vernon, Man, but I know everybody on Toss You. I knew having since I was a kid.

I knew everybody. So you know I wanted to go over there and get bent on the block on his book, you know what I mean, on the Toil Street, the mab Deep Block. One good time for Prodigy. Man. Yeah, we respect that man. Great night, no violence, everybody love each other. Ship's real man world, Yo, We respect that man. We really really appreciate that jump. And you know, I can't let you get out of here without you're asking you. We keep hearing this NAS album is done, I know

you know, man. Yeah, yeah that ship. Um about John almost he'll grabbing a song with too. We're still grabbing some fire, okay. I about hip hop, hip hop list whatever man or a big that up and big up to them people at Massive Pill Records. We got some secret things going on. Secret. Then we can't tell them too much, Jungle, We can't tell them too much. We gotta relax. We gotta see they're gonna see that. Yo, yo, so yo, thank you for calling them man. Rest in peace,

prodigyally definitely man thanks for having me. No wrest In keeps prodigy. Man, Yo, I gotta get on that show though. Man, man, we we got you. We're bringing mad hitting that day. No I started you drinking. Anybody's down, that's right, That's right, my brother, Yes, sir, yes, sir, I get nothing. Got to speak to you. Jungle talking to h same here all right, hit you up later one. You know what

I'm saying. That's Jungle nas brother. For those that don't know executive, you know over there a massive Pill Records doing some heavy things. You know what I'm saying. Um, I always wanted Jungle to be a full fledged exactly. You know what I'm saying. And I think it's time because you know, when you hear the story, he's like hello, shout, read what's going on? You live with the drink? Chance makes him, Oh, I'm got jesus, He said, is that a T and T? He said, who did I see?

Who did we see in the Atlanta And somebody said they see me? Say he said, you're getting ready for drink? Chance? What kind of show did they figure? That? Shout? He read? My brother in the background, I'm not I'm not a show man. We hip hop like a motherfucker. We're hip hop. That's what. That's what, that's what I like. Man. Yeah, first of all, saluted the whole Jap Chance family. Um pick up to my man laugh even asking me to call in. Man, this is a big up. I know

we're joined. That for me, so yeah, a pleasure to call yeah, Yo. So let me just ask you, what's your earliest memory of Prodigy? This is hip hop? He gave me hire. This is hip hop. This little okay, yeah, crazy right now and I'm sorry when you at the Freshman the Freshman ship EXXL Yeah, vot live on the vote makes sure these people tune in, baby, So yeah, can you hear us a little better? Shout he read? Yeah, it's just perfect. Okay, hold on the last something all right?

So what's your earliest minute memory of Prodigy? Yo? It's funny, man, I was talking to the other day and earliest revery year on that little thing and the and the donatory and seeing ship cons and being like, yo, what the sender? I thtven got there and it was like yo, chillun don't see man saying don't see nothing and just a nine going everything. That's the first time I saw and Um the album came out. I think it was on on the Truth Day. I was in the Genius Peace.

I just wanted to take it to go see the movie Friday. It just came out that Friday, and the album was absolutely before It's Mad Time to Kill. I sat down for the album. They don't pose it like f y E and I was negarized there a like really, I think, guys, it's like you know, so I didn't see it. They take your managination, take your heart. Man. It was like, you know, it was so full in fact that not so full like Michael Jackson hummies, but just so full, like they was just really better in

their soul and you're not in the same Madge. It was like it was just talking about recordtilities. Those are the best albums where I feel like I'm the only man that that that got to say, wow, man, I listened to that, join listening to him to the three D of the movie, even like you know cats answer the movie, I can't Scott can't turn it off. Let me ask you something, Let me ask you something. Shot you think it's too quick to jump into like a prodigy Mark deep bio pick what's it called bio pick.

We need it. We needed then. I was certainly gonna say it because he was such a fact to man. Man, you're looking at you know, you know, you know you were closer to Peter I was, but one of the most adicated that control to you on any level of anything. Scholar, right,

but a street ving. Yeah, he was going right. Hedn't see me at that TV and he was doing to him And you know, everybody, I'm sad because it's like the last tides for like three years, and you know I was much enough to form a friendship with him and have then you know, I'm all sad and all that that he like, he like man to this, you know, all the crazy ship that I did that it caught for He's like it was me. I did it. Yeah,

they do the crazy thing that I did. So the fact that they got me on in here, I didn't stop. And that's how he was, man, he was he was just a just a stroying do man. I think that's why It's death is affecting us so crazy, because we don't want to look at peas being invincible. We don't know about to sit yourself, but were looking at him and just no matter what's going on and can then

stop to do. You know, it's like when something like this comes out of the blue, it's like it feel like it feels like when Biggie got Man, I ain't gonna lie. A lot of people be saying he rece even like pretty much to the same love as Biggie Smalls. So we're gonna we're gonna honor him because you know, this is drink Champs, So we're gonna do what we gotta do. You know what I'm saying, r P Prodigy man shout he thank you for calling in man and

giving those those those beautiful words. Now I appreciated me to tell her to tell her stands real quickly. People that's watching it, you know, Naughty helped me up out so much because they got pe packed away. I was driving, I would stop on the Otway brock All. So when I got to know was, I pulled over and like that said me so hard. I started crying. And Ali

was the first person I thought the call man. I called Laury and I'm you know, I'm meant my parents sad, I'm climbing, and Ally just was just with so Jos. He's like yellow man. He just got an you know, an army you probably had the morning. A lot of people in the world where the way he handled it in perspective, I'm sitting there crying it back, like, man, you gotta put a like see. Yeah, so I say

death that battery and being been in my back. I'm gonna keep rupper for the brother wor Yo, Man, thank you so much for calling that RP Prodigy on the kunt of three one two three Prodigy. Well all right, shot, we're gonna hit you up later. Man, thanks for calling the drink champs. Love man up alright one love? So let me ask you when was it? When was it your oldest memory of prodigy? Like how far back old old is memory? One back? Did you know him when

they when they did out? Did you know that? I didn't know him, but I remember him being in section five and I remember him having toys and we traded toy because he's really from left Frack. Like I didn't know him then though, Like you know what I mean, I didn't know knowing you're seeing trading toys. This is trading this kids, is he? Man? Kids? Real toys, not cars? Toys? Yeah, Like, um, yeah, I remember way before Wrap. This is way before Wrap. I never leoked at him. I never knew he was

a rapper until I was actually in jail. I was in jail and I see I was like, oh, kid, this kid is from Left Frack, Like, well, I should see him in Left Frack. Rather, he says it. He says it, woll damn. Should I have see called too? If he has a memory of Peter, Well, hold on, just the wrong see the home. I'm gonna relax, go back, go back, because yeah, yeah, I mean this is as kids like, and um, I remember, you know, guessing he

moved away. Maybe that's the time he moved to Queen's Bridge, or that's the time he left, yeah, living left he lived in Left Frock at one point. Yeah, he says that. He says that, yeas. So then when y'all finally like see each other, when each other again, he was already prodigy the next time I said you already in No, you're not yet. No. Remember my first record is l A L A so with them? Yeah. So was that originally supposed to be a mob deep record? No, it

was really talked about it a million times. It was originally for a bad boy mixtape. Okay, I remember it was on the Dog Pounds beat. Yeah, but it was we used to go up to Stretch Armstrong so much. Stretched Armstrong wanted to pay us back, like that's how it was, like, Yeah, we're gonna put you on a bad Boy mixtape. Remember bad Boys? Remember was doing some of the mixtape. Yeah he was, No, he had this is this is because remember it was it was like

Clue had one version and do I do? I don't know, but to do I came later, So it was like Clue I think was first, I think, uh, maybe envy and then it was Stretched Armstrong's terms and stretched game and got us And that's l l l A was supposed to be a style at first, and it never made the mixtape. No, because because I got it whitely, because I told you we said the story on him, talk about a bunch of times Big said no. Big said no because he didn't want that vibe going on.

He didn't want that vibe because he knew that everybody looked at him like bad boy. And so when y'all did that record, that's not the first time y'all real nite since he was kids who you and p l A Yeah, yeah, I mean, I never never to tell you the truth. I never bought that story up to him. I never said you was the kid because but I'm saying, when you're going to the studio l A l A. That's not the first time. Don't each other on the

on the block plenty of times. And the thing was, I don't think that they was really downward it at first, but hit him up had dropped. I might be getting confused. I might be getting confused where I say, I think that we did the record and then think hit him up dropped, and that made them want to do the video, not the no, it was the whatever record. It was where Pop actually addressed marb d it was yeah, and

that it was a day before. So because at first I don't think Prodigy wanted to do the video like, but that that pulled him over because his verse was the only one that remember, his verse was n y C you and I very supremacy, having compete queens nigger, so we're seeing to be Mega got word back from Noriega JFK on our way to l A. So his verse was only like probably the only verse it was actually like directly saying something about l A. So now that I'm older. I understand why he did that because

we wasn't. We didn't know if dog was this and us we didn't know. He didn't. But after after they the video dropped, then he was like, all right, that's how, that's how our video. Now when you look at the video, it looks like we always thought they was this in us, but you know we were confused. That's the truth about it, you know what I mean? Hold on, let's see if you could get okay, every pretty much? Hold on, Oh, let's see really again, James Cruise, what's up? You're live

on drink chance everybody makes it? N going on? What's going on? Listen? Man? You know today's show, James Cruise, you're executive at Bad Boy, but people don't know you was executive at Violator. You know what I'm saying for many many years. So I know that you know Prodigy very well. We're right now giving him respect and we wanted you to, you know, say something about him real quick. Man. You know I met Pete you know way before. You know when he was on when he was on was

it pay Days? Did you ben through through mercury Um and he was independent distribute at I used to hear the music, you know what I'm saying, And it felt like when you played the music the right way, like this cat was climbing through your window and with a scheme mask going about to come start he had to do. And then I met Pete and I'm like, look at

this little motherfucker. Like he was tiny, but he had a big, super human heart, you know what I'm saying, Like like he would just command his presence, you know what I'm saying. You look at having you know what I'm saying, Like you put them, you saying, have it go on, peace shoulders. They about as tall as me.

But you had had these two cats that they just had this movement and you had alchemists, you know, and this is when the hip hop, like you know it was you know, you still had always that white impression hip hop, but not from a producer standpoint, you know what I'm saying. So you know, Pete was a kind of cat with that. He would just catcauvy showing you know what I'm saying. He would just kicking with shoe and gun done. You know what I'm saying. The way

he would talk, he had his own language. And then you know as I started working with him, I never forget I started a violator and Mona Scott brings me a stack of contracts for these college dates. They were all my peak college dates, and I felt like Mona has set me up because I had no idea he was ill and when a lot of people don't know too, and do you know light he had that too. Yeah, a lot of people don't know that. You know, he had a less severe version of it, but he was.

He would still getting ill, which I think is what actually bonded P and Lighty in a different way because he was helping Pe get healthy all throughout those times that the heavy had to see and all that, you know what I'm saying, And then when they started to loud, you know, like he was doing a and all with them, and you know he was really creating this, this this real relationship with P and trying to be a big brother type. And you know, as P went on, he's

kept getting sicker and sicker. We have to cancel shows. And I remember Edie be into the office one day and he was like, man, you gotta start taking care of yourself because we can't be losing these dates. Because a lot of people don't know. Once you sign a contract with the college, don't play with that because you will get sued out the ass, you know what I'm saying. And I had to learn that, you know, to to really advise myself through his health, which taught me a

very important part of management. It ain't just go out and get the check. It ain't just go out and get the deals done to get the wreckage played. It's also making sure your client is healthy and taking care of themselves because you don't. You only have one body,

it's your temple, you know what I'm saying. And just you know about I think it was like nine days before he passed, he was at summer him and you know, P and I started choking around because you know, DP says, your crews, that's that's a nice watch on your wrist. And I was like, yo, that's a nice grilling your mouth and he lacked pause and he laughed and he goes, yeah you too. I said, yeah, people got forty on

the risk. We both got forty on our teeth. We were laughing about it, you know what I'm saying, because he got this air of that mob and we were laughing about it. But it was just like you know how you don't miss a step with somebody like me and you get together, we don't miss a step. And we were back, you know, doing what we do back in the days, like you don't miss a step with Pete. He was always himself. There was nothing, there was nothing different about him. Every time he saw him he was

the same too. He had that special queen's thing about him, and he had his own language, and he had his old love. And as I watched him grow from from an m C because he wasn't a rapper, he was an MC straight to go from an m C. And then when he started like later on in his years, he started to become more of an activist and started to make points in his own language still but make points about how you know, we come up as as young African American and Latino man in hippopping on the

grind and you know what I'm saying. Just to see that growth in that transition and him, it was just like, man, we lost a good one, you know what I'm saying. And it gone too soon, you know what I'm saying. And you know we we lost lighty. No I feel about that, of course, you know what I mean, so it's like when I really sat down and started to reflect when I got the news man, like that whole Lighty thing came over me again too. You know, isn't

the way, isn't presaging the same place that Chris Lighty's way? Yeah, yep, tomorrow, Yep, yes it is. So it's like, you know, but you know they probably they probably up in heaven right around in that g wagon. You know, Chris was the hottest cateastry with that wagon first. Probably gonna be up in heaven, you know, talking mom peep. But you know I went to peace thing in l A that Steve Ripken did I hear about that? And I really got a chance to see photos of p like you never saw before.

He pulled out the old photos from the photo shoots, allowed records, you know what I'm saying. He pulled out stuff, and I was just sitting there like wow, like just his file, you know what I'm saying, Like like you know before before we saw a park with the rag around his head, he had that rag around you know what I'm saying. That and that on you know what I'm saying, Like the Armies for Queens, the size ten eggs close, way too big for you know, Tim was

on you know what I'm saying. It was just like just like wow, and I saw these photos and you didn't realize, you know what I'm saying, because you always the great one of the tops top ten verses, sho the top three verses the whole time. For me, we

shook one, you know what I'm saying. And for me to really see how he influenced fashion too, Like I really like I didn't even I didn't even catch that until I went to rift, you know what I'm saying, Like you know that that was Pete And I remember when they was running around with fifty engine and it, you know what saying, was on tour in Europe, and you know, I just I just remember how Pete would

always stay true to his his queen's roots. You know what I'm saying, His Queen's roots has always shoot him the way he rocked, the way he the way he dressed, the way he spoke. You know what I'm saying. So again, man, we lost him too soon. Man, I missed him already, you know, but you know God got another angel up there. You know what I'm saying, They're gonna have a side fling Heaven in a minute, definitely, James, Man, But we appreciate you calling it man. You know what I mean.

On the count of three, RP prodigy one to three, you know, and norry why why while we on it? I got it? And I'm so proud of your growth. Um, I'm so proud of of the man you've become. From business standpoint, you always a great at them. You don't get going. No, nobody's gonna say any difference me. But to watch you grow and to watch you do these things and to your deals with the phone, CPS and all these things, man like yo, man, ain't nobody ever

said it? Man? Applause, brother, because you know what, another Latino in the business doing it the way you're doing it's problems. All. Yeah, man, I've just been in the shot man trying to get it right, man, because I felt like when I first came home, I dropped

I ain't gonna say really in the rush, but I just dropped it, you know, the Independent, and just dropped it really without knowing the game, you know, not knowing what Spotify was but you know Apple Music really was, and not knowing streaming and everything else, and just knowing the game. Who the fund did that? J Let's cool? Let's go oh I look so what got said? Man? Me and prod of hen always have a level of relationship. Man, But I'm grateful that I had had the opportunity to

make a man of the products. That's a man do what because it's the womb of what when you think about use it, when you think about challenge, when you think about ambition, A lot of niggas out here make excuses. Man, The son had a condition, but he rules above that if if not for nothing else, I'll be respectful for that man. You know what I'm saying, That they live more than more than a lot of niggers. Man, and

then the road out. Man. You gotta respect his business, you gotta respect the influence he had autistically, and you've got to respect his life. Man, shouldn't a testament to anybody facing challenge and admisity. Man, you know, excuses rods up, That's what I got to say about that man. But for anything, I want to send my deepest regards to his family, his real family, because you know what that's

gonna affect their lives. After niggas got the Instagram numbers up, after niggas got their motherfucker's social form numbers up, after niggas gonna throw all of them crazy pastuffy, after the faceship, his family has to live with the fact that a father is gone, a son is gone, the grand sun is gone. But I ain't gonna be sad for my duty. I'm gonna celebrates life. Man. That's that's what we life. Trash. That was well spoken, that's what we're doing right now. Man,

No, I want to come to Miami. Smart answer, smart answer, smart answer, smart answer, grasshopper, smart answer. I want to come to Miami. Yeah, I want to get now for the for the twentieth anniversary of the war report that be hard. That be hard. For the anniversary,

that be hard. That be hard. So look look look you know so look I'm gonna hit you off line so we can finish this. But yo, man, thank you for calling in man once again. My brother, welcome me when you're doing Yeah, I hate yourself? Finished? Was I finished? Hate you up? My brother one law picks my legg is the trashy so who we had called me tonight like, yeah, I love celebrated for my name minute. So we we're looking good. I don't know what that eagles. I don't

think that we smoke a bog and come back. We'll come back and talk about the number. Yeah, but come back and talk about the memory. I'm gonna smoke a bog bogie break, remember, I don't want to do it. Actually, I put you one of those things. I got a movie from Back from the Bogey Break another thing that masterpiece said. I want to reiterate, elaborate on elaborate. He said, Um, he's dropping the movie, but he guess his movie might not be good enough. Yeah, this man poured the whole

drink on. It shows the whole drink. What did you do like my action? I don't know. I mean, you know, yo, anytime anybody that's a whole what the fuck? Yeah? Yeah, oh my god, I don't know how you lass on on the run eating heat. That is not difficult. Show the drink. It's difficult. The show is not looking good anymore. Agents are nervous right now, I'm not a drink champ. So that's when happens. You're not what happens, that's right, that's what happened when you're not a drink chip. Okay.

So another thing that that's the piece said was, um, he's had a movie coming out and the guests is not good enough because he's not dead alive, he's alive. Right. Do you think that is a case in hip hop that sometimes our artists actually become more popular. No, I think that's a problem we have in hip hop. Okay, mean, because look, I'm give you an example and I'm not

gonna go to its depth into these movies. But to me, one of the best biopics, I like to say, biopic, biopic, one of the best movies is Straight to Compton and they were are alive and then watched you know, the quality at least quality control, whether you debate how factor everything, the quality of the film was top notch. Because you didn't like the Tupop movie, I thought it could have been better, meaning break it down, I just it could have been better. It could have been better as a film.

I wasn't happy with the Big movie either. What did he really douggy in the movie? Yeah? They told me he had a duggie. I didn't even notice that social media as a character. That is really right? Oh the dude, H know that somebody I've seen him. Man, I just think, like a lot of people, And again does that mean me? Me? Me?

People like they're They're like, Oh, the reason I think the movie is dope is because I'm a fan, and I'm like, well, as a I mean, if the first thing you should be saying as a fan should be more critical of the film. But I'm just saying in general, what I've noticed the films, well, there's only a few. There's not many in hip hop that have been to this level. The only one to me that has lived up to what it's supposed to be is the n

w A film. And these guys are alive, so you are well, you know what I'm saying that somebody from the group, which is more than it was three out of four members, four or five members and Yellow ran Yeah huh no, what I'm saying people alive alive, but live so that that's that's my I don't think if you're alive it makes a difference. It makes a difference, like Frankie Lineman and yeah, yeah, is it who Frankie Lineman? No, No, that's not his name? Was falling on the Jersey Boys, Frankie,

I'm thinking of the Jersey Boys? What's the dude from the Jersey Boy's name? New addition, New additions, new adition. But it was but wasn't great as a feature film for what it was as a TV movie. TV episode was an episode? I think it was when you say episodely to my episode, was it the episodes or wasn't one? There was the episode? It was like it was like the sixth episodes, No three, we have a So I think do you think that would have stood as a

feature film had that been condensed? I think I think so, Yeah, I think so. I think. Um actually, by them dragging it out and made it, it made it actually more interesting because maybe they couldn't just fit it all in the ninety minutes, you know what I'm saying, Like that their career is really really a lot, you know. I say, our BT also bore um Nas by the same way that they did um new addition, and they did a great job with new addition. I can't lie like I

was tuned in like it was not. You want to talk ahead, two sons, Let's go see it the famous director with no sleeves on. Yeah, all right. So what I think when it comes to a feature film, whether it's first off, Tupac had his problems. I haven't seen the film, so I'm not gonna judge it, but it has his problems with just Tupac being so prolific in general, and everybody's old enough to remember what he was. That it was gonna be a real difficult film. I was

saying it for years. It's gonna be real difficult to execute that kind of movie. The same thing with Big. But when you look at a film, it lives and dies by the script, you know what I'm saying. So it's like on a biopic, factual or not. If the writing isn't good, it's just not gonna work, you feel me. So it always has to be a really, really great script first. Casting will come second. The director's job is easy. At that point. It's like a car, you know what

I'm saying. You can have a Ferrari or you can have a body of a Ferrari with a Honda engine. It looks good, but it ain't got no drive, you know what I'm saying. So that's how you gotta look at the film. So the script sucks, which is probably what happened with a Tupac movie or some of they's TV and then. But to be fair, it's only certain people that say it say it sucks like it's other people who I like a lot, you know what, I have seen the artists. It's always subjective, so it's artist art.

But I just I personally think it could have been better personally. I haven't seen the movie personally to judge it. You know, I haven't seen the movie. Who knows. But that also is people had to go through to make this your hang out. We got to actually be with many Booms are great director. What is the after party? It's a whole bunch of West Coast guys that can't perform DJ quick the outlaws. And I actually was front row. I stood right there and and and our love was

in the movie. Well, I mean some of that. And wasn't the son and Kadafi's son, I believe, Oh yeah, that's dope. Booms credit just for even doing them. You know, you know what the thing is, Um, I think that, Uh, sometimes we just look at our legends that passed away for us to critique them as being perfect, like all the movies should be perfect. Ah. Sometimes it's just I liked it the Notorious like I liked it. I thought the quality was excellent, but I felt it could have

been a better movie as well. I just think these this is a thing. Maybe we're putting these people in such a pedestal that we expect, but I expect the saying that we would give what's homing. They did walk the line Johnny Cash, you know, winning Oscars, like we why can't we do that in hip hop? Why can't we have that level of production? And to you that that wasn't the level I felt I felt it was. Yeah,

it was, it was under that. It was it like that, Like I felt like like we just gave the people something because everybody was starving for it, so we gave it to them. And in the Notorious um situation, I felt it was great quality, but I just felt it lacked that just I don't know, I mean, this is my personal thing. I think that I think Notorious maybe came more from the mother's perspective, which which is when it comes from anybody's one perspective, that's when these movies fail.

In my opinion, that the same argument can go against you with Straight Out of Company, because the thing is is that it's multiple people's input. Even though they might have manipulated some of the story, it's still too many people's sides that you're gonna get. Yeah, and the end

you're gonna get. The thing is about I'm going to stand up and say, Cube is so embedded in the world of Hollywood movie making that I think I heard or I've seen him say that he wasn't gonna ever commit to a movie until he saw an amazing script because he already I think he understood. That goes back to my original script is everything straight up and down.

But you know, Benny was an amazing direct. I was happy that he got it because just watching the hip hop music he's done from the done so much s to get that kind of look, you know, it's awesome to me. I just want the best for hip hop person That's that's all I'm saying. So now, being that this show is uh dedicated to Prodigy, is it too soon to think about like working on a Mob Deep or Prodigy. I think that's how how their inner circle feels.

If they feel that that's something they feel confident that they want to undertake. Maybe they're not, you know, when they're ready. I think it's on them. But I think such an amazing movie could be made out of their story because it's like what people are saying, Mob Deep is the soundtrack to anybody, especially in our generation of hip hop. You can remember where you were at that point when Mob Deep dropped, you know, shook ones at for example. We that's that marks the time point in

all of our lives. That is the soundtrack. So imagine the film that could be made. You could make a movie just probably about one album. Take it out. You should have passed me to ship he should I did it good the first Remember I write yourself. I had a conversation with somebody because I was reading this crazy article.

I'm not gonna bring the article right now. I'm not giving nobody props in the show, but this crazy article about Golden age chip hop, and I was talking to someone's like, you know, all these gangster stories out of the twenties in New York like the same could be movies like Mafia movies. The same could be applied to the recording industry in the early nineties, late eighties, and I feel like the Mafia, it's almost like the Mafia didn't die, but it was like the recording industry of

the eighties and the nineties. Well, they tried to do it with that one series on HBO and they got cut. Was the one series that that was in the seventies, and that was a great show and that it was he was a part of that, right, Yeah, they were. They were, Yeah, definitely going I guess who are Yeah,

I think. I think My point is that the eighties and nineties, the same kind of storylines applyed to like the twenties and thirties gangsters in New York, applies to the eighties and nineties and the crack era and the recording industry and hip hop. But it's almost not even about all the rappers, about everybody was around the rappers and all the politics that get involved in it. Bro

a couple of movie ideas for that era. Yeah, So it's just you know, I just think like it's like, I think that that era is really interesting, and I think that the way people idolize Lucky Luciano al Capone, Mayer Lansky there one day idolized Supreme or Leer Cohen how he with the Supreme Star are they are the modern day I mean a modern day to come back down,

I think that's the modern day Frank Sinatra. I think it's everybody that's around see no, because I think even though Frank had the aura of being down with the mafia, he didn't do things these My point is, you know, Frank Sinatra was the recording artist of the Mob. So it's like, you know, you look at it, but these guys try to create and I'm not here to drive to this on nowhere, but you look at some of

these artists. I'm not gonna you look at some of these artists in their history and who's backing them in the names you don't know, but you might have had a glimpse on the record, maybe somebody said something and drop the name were real quick and blah blah blah. Those are the guys that really are the ill stories that if you really get into it, you're like, yo, like holy crap, there's a real storyline there, and it's real deep and embedded and it's just you know, Rackster

Richards always sells Man. America's built on the underdog. So you look at it Man coming from the projects and being a billion millionaire. I got close to a billionaire off hip hop, and he's alive and he came out the eighties early nineties in New Yorker l A. It's crazy. You know, that's a great there's a lot of meat and potatoes. I just hope it gets told right. I think Painted folded a really good assessment of it. Though. Oh yeah, I was in that movie. That makes I

think you just sold his book for a movie. Yeah. Yeah, And I know to Life Crew as well as Yeah, we need their side of the story, but they're also working Bee. No, no, definitely not about Beef. I would like my initial when we talked about Luke, I would love to have everybody you know what I'm saying, you know, Mr Mix for the Marquis Luke um Man down right into shut out. He was originally in the first three we talked about this morning. That's why we didn't get frosts.

We need not at that script. Is not in that script is sould. I always wanted to make a two Life Crew bio biopic. I like biopic, man like bio watching makes more. I hope I hope they called the movie as nasty as they want to be, And I hope they make the whole movie about the court case, and well, I think that's what. I think, that's what that movie. I think that's where they meet and Potatoes is for that film. I don't know the script. I

don't know what they're doing. But if they make the whole ship about the freedom of speech court case, they win. I want to. I want them to go back to the pack jam and talk about that. You could do all that, you could do all that, but if you make the main conflict about them fighting for their freedom of speech, you win. Or give me a documentary because in the footage what you do right there Again we talked about this on the Luke episode, but it was

a club that Luke ran. It was it was like everybody like it was this inner city club that just it was a write of passage. In my mean, you had to go ra jam like that was the spot, you know. But what you do with what you do is you give Luke the Larry Flint story basically at that point, definitely, because the package. All the imagery still applies.

It's just you gotta have that big conflict and the big conflict of his freedom of speech, and that that's where they win and hopefully hope the guy they write that right. But I don't think it's too early about the Mob Deep movie. I don't think you know, it's only as early as the family feels comfortable to do it. Correct. I'm saying that that that's who counts, the family, trying to see that we keep talking, keep talking, correct. I believe that then well they have to be the whole linory,

give a two piece on it. I just support us, keep talking talking. So what happened was remember all right, well, so I'm gonna try to speed it up. Actually, as as a fan of hip hop, I grabbed Juvenile as a cassette tape tape I always do so anyways, I was already a fan of Mob Deep. I had duven O. Hell, you know, Project Halways hit it from the back like I had that, you know that from the back to

that record. So that's another person. So but we saw the showcase that was like the new coming out of Mob Deep, and and they performed Shook Ones Part two and It was at Luke's Club I forget the year exactly, and it was showcasing them and that was the first you know, you see and we were like, yo, this is crazy that no fifty it was it was Coca Bongos, but it was called Luke's, it was called Times, it was Coco before. You don't matter. But yeah, but they

performed the ship that they performed, they killed it. So that's my first like like seeing them, you know, back back in the mix, and it was it was insane and that became, like I said, the soundtrack of our Lives. And then they were on the tour, Survival of the Fittest Tour, but there was a deaf jam and that's I briefly on my Instagram, I posted a freestyle um that that probably he did too. For me, it was and it's crazy because it was over both over your beats.

It was banned from TV and super dug two verses and at the time I was bummed out because he didn't actually freestyle. What he did is he gave me verses for murder music but you know, same ace, but in advance, and I still put it on the taste. But you know, when I heard it later, I was like, oh, you know, because I was just such a hip hop has h But but but now, but the thing is that he did it. You know. Now in retrospect, I'm like, yo, he did it on those beats to to wait, those

beats called him to do those verses. Imagined him on Super Thug spaying some of those verses. I got that, you know, and he's saying, Miami niggas, you know, like it's just you know, and it's not so so much more special unfortunately, you know what I'm saying. It was special back then. I put it on too mixed. Tell you why I do it? Pass fat Joy. Wait for twenty one years, but one day finally he just said, I said, oh ship, I keep doing it years I

have I have a in my head. There's a time in place that I'm gonna smoke in my head too. That's why I keep trying. But shout out to to to Paul following Kings, drink out to my man, Salt my man Jason, Jason, and that's not your real head. Come over here. Let's just let's just talk about that for a second. Listen little with your cat for a second. We see him like leave it. You got you got nice? What's going over? I mean, like page, I guess you know, I just turned forty, so like let me let me

do something. Yeah, my bro, you so what you what you did your hair plugs? Yeah? I feel like I feel like you got the George Jeferson just like, all right, that's my bad. Sald You good. You want kid say with something to drink? Kids in Sald You gotta relax. I gotta get the micro right, say something really? Yeah you know, Jason, hey real, let's just keep you for skateboard. Skateboard. Yeah, that's what I'm d be. Skateboard. Yeah, yeah, I've never

heard of that one. That of my people, that's sal Jason. We still we had the sports grill all the time. You know what I'm saying, you can't do. He can't do? Can killing? Man? Mr? A killer? At one point, that's right, that's right. Mr Lee comes say how to the people missing? Come? Mr Lee? Who tried to shoot my What's Mr? Lee? How you doing? You can't shot? For two hours? He called him, He called him some coming to visit the

food show. This nigger came for two I had to I had to make it, said where you ask were the airport? What are you talking about? Come smoke what six chick? I went to Orlando with my family and then I went to and then I went back to I just got back. That's a noise, I mean, not really understand. Also understand said yeah, yeah, welcome to play a new podcast network featuring radio and TV personalities talking business, sports, tech, entertainment,

Then right now, I want to take the time out shout out all the people that came out with us on the running and first off, but you're not done. You're not done yet. We mean record filming. Oh no, no, we four episodes and there's four episodes. Were about somebody Miami, New York. Yeah yeah, so let let's let's everybody's more than worlome to come. You get a lot of money.

You have no excuse, you gotta I gotta next to Well all right, so what did we have in at l A? I forgot in l A. We had we don't just doesn't mean we can hear you Just ready to my food show that ambrose um. That's it. That's a Atlanta at a Come on, So we definitely had Amber, you know, the only thing this guy remembers. Remember who else we had? But listen, here's the crazy ship we have. Have Amber Rows on the Fud Show again right now. Me,

I'm personally mad at my cousin. He personally embarrassed me. You know, has it a sound studio. He was taping pictures of Amber's ass, and I didn't like on the snap. I didn't like that, you know what I mean. And we're both complained about him. When they complained about this is just throwing it out there. But now I got Amber right, we're in there. You know, it's cool. We do the food show and this this expensive restaurant. The owner of the restaurant did the carline though you got

the hook, dad got squeet shots. Yea interview, it's like the restaurant. Yo. It sucked me up because that's a damn. Maybe I was a little hard on my cousin. I think I think so, And I mind you, I don't peep it because I'm doing my own thing, you know, and peoples taking pictures to all people, you know whatever. She's we love, but she's a great girl with a great sport. So, um, how Secarity peeps it? So I

Secarity lets everybody take a picture but the owner. And then I'm saying to myself, I don't remember if he paid this guy. He gave it to us for free. I don't you know the details and the details. I'm like, I do know he's the owner. So they're like, you can I have a picture of what the older dude or a younger dude. Actually he's younger, probably younger than me. Why don't go about some white open for that one dummy?

But he looked today to describe this guy he had shot, he had him the super Yeah, he had like a very nice sports car, forget what it was outside, and he owned the restaurant. But to see him with the same face it's called the video when he filmed. No, I didn't see the video. I just seen to him come back. I'm glad we got your signatures, so it's all good. But it was shocking to me because it was the same face. It was the same the dedicated were celebrating his life, celebrated it was here right now

what he was doing? Yes, real quick? Really did the times you saw him recently? Did y'all ever talk about him to a drink always wanted to do drink chance, but I just wanted to you saw that at ox Place, Yes, and what I wanted to do. I just wanted to make sure we're just really because you know drink cams, you gotta be really real loose to be on here. Like I think he had a great time. I feel

like I had a great, great time. But it was crazy, y'all in Atlanta day ago, Aliey's makes and he something and he goes tell Nori, I'm getting ready for drink lamps like like like people feel like I don't know what they figures like happen. But I don't think we're gonna relax because people were like you just get just going drink bad have to start the show in this quarter you're listening. So for artists, for artists out there, you don't have to prepare to be on drink champs.

You just you good sports, relax, have fun, be good sports. Actually, the more when you lose or where you gonna happen marijuana and what you do, Yeah, because the scary you get the heart of that. I don't know they're working out their minds. You know what I'm saying. No, yeah, I would give you an ear fit on this one. They're working out their minds. So you know, you know, thank you all. You know what I mean. It's like, yeah, that's dope. Yeah. The flea market for Sunny Yeah, no, same bast to the same place. And he would go every day to the Lets tell y'all something, I gotta tell yall something. Lee walking him back. We downstairs earlier in the morning. We're smoking,

They'd already expie shine, yo, since don't make you feel a little better. I don't know where we were. We were in the

hot ass motherfucking place. Eddie Gigs got baby oil and put it on like it was sunscreen in the world chicken where we asked. We had a two hundred hours winning the b to the female baby deserved that. She went up there, she spit some bars. I felt like that was so hip hop. I didn't care for the fact that you know, she she spoke about um Nicki Minaj, if that was it or not. I just felt like that was hip hop and I didn't care if she

was dissing on not. That was ill to win the award and just spit a verse that there's no more hip hop than that. You know what I'm saying, and I applaud that. I apployed everything that's going on in the hip hop. I didn't get to see the whole BT Awards, like Aja said, you don't get to see. Right. We're busy, man, We drink Colombia, working on it. We're trying about coming home Colombia, trying to finish that so we can make some some of these festivals. Man. So

we're working on it really fast. I'm just telling you, like a lot of people that you brought out, there was s living coke behind your back. It's a lot. It was a wonderfum yeah, maybe because you never that movie was the movie? Um uh no, no, you know it's the He's a pop star, rock star, Oh my god,

doctor fake documentary ship, yeah, pop star. I think at the fake Tyler Creator, Tyler the creator, like maybe I did shop won't stop, never stopping, and that bullshit would do from the little Yallo the League, cop star, I don't know if Alright, dude, Adam Sandberg, he plays like a boy band like Justin Peter pop star and he makes like a fake documentary his career. That's everybody around him. Its real. So like Nas comes out and I was like, y'all. He's like that they got a character on it. It's

like a fake of the creator. So he just all he does is great jokes. This is a scene. He gets down and he has no dick. Yeah, because they they taped ship to the back. So there he goes. He said, Yo, did you pull this trick? Because they pranking each other the whole time? You disrespected they bringing each other the whole time. So that he goes, So they said, did you do this to me? He goes, Maybe I did. Maybe I didn't. I don't think I did a couple of times. That's pretty larious, Like yeah, yeah,

so that's that's what happened. Man, video, I get it. I get it, but I don't get it. It's terrible. They're like talking about the BT wards a second ago. Yeah, I don't know how we got it. Come home come yeah, maybe cop Columbia people do a couple of any back he said, maybe they didn't. Maybe did it. Someone's that's not doing cooke right now? Is that it was called come on going one? Yeah, I got he tell me that you can tell me singing? You canna tell me?

Are you fire? Right now? You're talking about you're on the microphone, but get the cooking phone police. I'm I'm not gonna say anything. You just said a lot of things. We gotta never last wipe that out, you know, but it wasn't You're not the worst the fifth, you're guilty. It was the third or so you're not the fit a snitch. But what does it mean somebody else hectic coke? Hey, man, I saw it on FaceTime. I got about that. I gotta right we say we're talking about Oh my god,

he was on facetop was just doing lines. Hey, nobody said that. Brother. Wait wait, wait, wait, wait a minute, us waiting? He got that? You think crocket and tubs on faceside? It's on on faceside. He saw on faceside. I could have saw on their face. Wait, wait this time we're gonna do it? Wait? Good god? What good? Can I give up? Geta I want to give a memory of pology that never man, but hold, let me tell you something. But you were teaming we have I

want to give memory that. I think there's millions of people that would like to say they relate to his literally, and that sounds so I'm a fan. So I'm want to speak for everybody, because I had an emotion one day, right, pauls right, Okay, he spent running, he spent and I listened to everything he said. But at that moment I was a Red Man fan. I was a Keith Murray fan because because I'm from Jersey. But and then when then when, and then when he dropped the album, he said,

I'm not into that galactic ship. You need to get punched in the face, right, I just recently heard that. It was really I didn't really realize back then when when he said I didn't realize that was a kid where he was like, you know, I'll stab you in the club, and he's like, I'm I'm not on that galactic ship. You know, I'm on real ship. And at that moment, I said, that's real. But I was upset because I was done with Redman and Keith, and Keith used to say that whole and to GALECTI molecting the

way he used to spit. But then when he came out with l A l A, and I had heard component Norri's of songs that was always to the heart, and then when they came up, and then when he said, right now, go outside, man, I'm gone. But when he said that run in l A l A, I was with it and the most of you go through and listen to your friends. I was just saying, don't like what you did in the last time more than on the current albums. I know, and I'm man, you know

what I mean? Something to me, goes Joe Buddy on my first one background, I was like, noise face like ship ship, said yeah, because you know it's like going to the fleet by son for the fleet to day and then you take that ship say signs forty, but it feels like a thirty four ship, so you're going to bring it back in the day and the fleeting either my tumble like no refu. You have to relax. I'm not gonna like how really great? It not real. I'm not even fish my dog man to put everything

in perspective. Because DJ here, we had a group and crazy fool called the Alliance and Paul is a part of it. His name in the group is MC. Name is weird because I never I can never I get h the name because I can't explain play were spread, Bro, you made no goddamn center, perfect sense, dude, the I'm saying, but I know we left. Man. Listen, man, you got what you get what you get out that it's a

coming day. I had it. He's save that he was the prod when he said that about the intergalacting whatever, and then he liked him. Then he said in so why did he just say that because I says he didn't like him when he was beat from a death squad. But then after what he just said that, I don't know he did. But in Paul's language like that, let's just you have fluiding, I want to say I didn't

know product obviously, just your motives. Shook Ones was one of the first videos that ever inspired me to want to do music videos. I used to wake up at fourteen years old in Miami with there was no hip hop on the radio and watch you on two be Wraps on Saturday telling them on it. And I remember watching Shook Ones and watching probably on the old school BMW on the Keenings Queen's Bearers, all the Killers and

a hundred dollar Builders. When he came out in the alley, that's all when I know the video, when he came out the alley with the backs too. He had the blue Hennessey jersey, having had the red Hennessey jersey. I might have that reverse, but they both had Hennessey jerseys. Drinking Hennessey. That was one of the most illness icono because I'm a real fan of the nineties. Just garage hardware, d videos. You got your stuff off the DNS. You heard of us? Richard Queen rich Murder comes to quiveryware

on my Croyd family. Who got up shots and ship? All who of roads are rich? You won in the trees? Does it? Every man for itself? Maybe running cruise running it ain't they come around. They never come close to side of your face. Here the wrong place, Carol's out. You look at your whole body, lays up the bull, the holes and such street the wrong words, man, and you will get touched. You here, put your whole army against the team, and I guarantee you to be here

at the last time breathing, he said the words. You don't move me. You're lighting major your more. Winning the game is don't desert to be your player. Don't only have to call your name out, you little shot to make you left the take Cody nine team on my mind. It's old and went to get a room. That's cold, another nigg of the seats, another story. You're told it ain't not really and you're gonna stop the fairly hear my mind out of yo back there want the love.

I don't don't go faking me. While back and queens of real business validation, and I heard you a better location, he said, by the trade you feel a burning sensation, ain't close to the guard and then a tight situation. Now tell your words backing thing it too over the next time I it might be about you shock and he know, shuch say he's halfway crooks, it's ain't dead. Is scared? Look it shuck because there ain't no such things halfway crooks. Since here the death is getting a

little color. Dree two three hardly what two three hardy? Holleeen dree chance we love you baby? What's hallo open? You take this half point crooks if you don't make them, can't tell you. Kriel
