drunk facts. This is Drinks chap Radi wh every Day is New Year's e Just ron he he says j E f And this is militating Crazy podcast Slash Streak Chest and right now I would like to introduce I'm about to introduce, and before I introduced them, I would like to say that when I hear the best labels of all times, when I hear the best cruise of all times, and when I hear the best anything of all times, and these people don't involve these people that as here with us right now, it actually makes me

mad because duck Down has been here just as long as Bad Boy. Duck Down has been here, just as long as death Row dumbed down, and in certain instances has outlasted death Row and bad But a lot of people don't just say that. A lot of people don't just give them props like we're not. Just seen the emergence of Young m A and a lot of people didn't know that they he was she was ducked down of affiliated, I realized that a lot of people just don't understand the genius a Buckshot, Evil d and Drew

Hall and Joy Badass. You'll have something to do with Joy Badass A little bit that you don't say nothing you want, Charlie, I'm gonna guy yours folded like with you know how you gonna start your middle there? Relax somebody funny in your pillow, So somebody's funny. Not in case, most of my faith far relax. So we got the most luxurious the label that stuck together. You have problems, but you're stuck together at the end. And tonight we're

going to beat this up. We are and we ship introduced our guests, but let our guests introduce theirself first. We're gonna start with the White Man. He ran a marathon, drew high up in there. Let's make h yeah, Tex Smith and Western was yeah yeah, General still Smith and Western DJ Evil d burning that Price Sean Price White. So being that you started as the last last year, the first, So I'm gonna start with you, and I'm gonna say what when you heard that, um, Sean Price

was what ducked down? What was your first in the field reaction? I was like, wow, are you sure you want to do this? All right? Cool? I don't know if that was good or back that was good actually because I've known him since I was thirteen, so he yeah, Sean So you know he would um, you know, say as little raps and be like, oh you're still gonna be around and listen, and I'd be like, yeah, when I'm going you don't want going somewhere, you know what

I mean. And he'd be like, nah, I'm gonna do this, and he would rap to me and I'd be like, you're pretty good. You should get you know what I mean? Pretty good? And basically, you know, it was the starting and so so what's the sean price? You like more? When he was in a coup on when he went solo, When he went solo, I ain't gonnallow me too, because I felt like I felt like I felt like he felt like I don't. I don't feel like I feel

like as as are all fair. I felt like he felt like he was held back in a certain way. So everything he did as a solo artist was like rebellious. It was rebellious and the most like respectful disrespect. I agree, you agree? You know, um you know, when you you're in a group, um Nigga's hand this, um ways you carry yourself. You know, you're carrying your team, you know, and then when you become a solo artist, it's just

like me, you know what I'm saying. You don't have to worry about, you know, exposing anything or whatever the case is, because it's you so you know, um rock rock is different from Sean pri well, so so deep. I ain't go front. I didn't even look at that like that. So now I want to take it to the beginning of Duckdown too Hot. Buckshot came to you or you came to Buckshot? How does this? How did

this conversation start? I was working, I was an intern at a at an independent label, Nervous Records, Nervous, and but I sort of nervous own duck Down. I was wrong, not for a minute the way they they literally on this, but they had us in a situation for a minute. But yeah, Buck Buck was a newly signed artist. Chuck chill Out brought him to the label to Nervous to Nervous, and I literally was like I was right out of college.

There was a small independent label, like three or four people up there, and I just started doing a little of everything. And Buck will come up to the label every day. He would like literally come in to try to, you know, see how he was going to advance his career up, and he's putting the pressure on the on the label and eating five would be there. But Buck was there pretty much like a few times a week and we just developed a friendship. I was an aspiring rapper, right,

so what was your only was I wrapper up? But look the verse? You could go look it up on a song called Many Moons. Yes, I have a song on the Black Moon album on Into the Stage called You the Man With with Mobb Deep Smith and Wesson and Black Moon, so you can it's the ill Caucasian to that album. Back the check the Invasion. All right, So look look I never really you were saying, like you said, right now, he picked the verse. We know

the verse chill out. I know, ut right, people that it was a classic DJ still is a classic DJ. But even at the time he was an influential DJ on I think it was the seven point five and yeah, he's gonna he's gonna check chill Out. Yeah, that's right right. Anyway, long, long short, I've quickly learned my calling wasn't to be an m C. You know, being around professionals, you know, being around certain rights. We could joke around about it, but I often say, like, you know, m seeing a

lot of people like to do it. It's like baseball on the way, like you could have a rect league, you could play Little league, you could play even high school, but that doesn't mean that you should be in the pros and being around professional m c s. I learned quickly the difference of like what I was doing and what was being done, and just for me, it didn't seem the route that I was gonna go. So so you started out trying to be an m C I was working. I had, but that was on the side.

And then so what initially made you say I'm gonna get down with you Buck to make this, I mean, just just the circumstances like we would just it wasn't like it was a grand plan. It was just more we were going through the motions and it was it was really when Buck, when Buckshot introduced me to these two right here, it was underny because that was your

first artist. That was that was the first time that we looked at it and said we could take another group and kind of do what we're doing with black Moon a little bit. And it wasn't even official right at that point. It was more like filling in and doing certain things because black Moon was because essentially it seemed like black Moon was like the new Arab b and rock Camp because they had had had a DJ and then it had you know the artist, but so actually it's two buck at five. Yeah yeah, so far

so he fathers chowing, he's home. I'm saying, okay, so let's subscribe. Let's let's let's suscribe your story. Oh man, listen the black Moon. Um well, first of all, beat minors. Beat minor started day I was born. Because that's my that's my brother, Mr Walker. You know, that's my older brother. And I kind of got into what I'm doing. What I you know, we save you know, we're gonna save it. You let graduate that hell yeah, we gotta graduate. But

I don't know why. He's just he knows we gotta graduate on the day every day over yeah yeah, continue all right. So, um, you know my brother Mr Walker, you know I've seen him DJ and you know it's like see your big brother do something, you get jealous. That's how I got into music because I was jealous. He's getting all the attention and anybody was like, yo, yo, your brother's nice. I'm like, I'm nicer than him, three years older than you know, and he um, you know,

so everything he did I did. My brother worked. He used to work at the music factory on jamaka ab Crost from Carlos and everybody in Queens when everybody in hip popping Queen's winning that store one time or another. And he knew everybody. So when he started, um, produce some music. I started producing music. I started when when I'm sorry to cut you off, but when was the when was the time that you said this is for real?

Well music as of making records and everything, like like women's that moment that hits you and said this is real. Once we once we actually went into the studio, a studio before we got you, you had a head. Yeah, we got the deal and you know, we had a deal before and it fell through, and um we got the second deal, which was nervous rackets, and you know I still was like, Yo, whatever, man, I'm still gonna hustle,

sell these tapes, do these parties. I'm sorry Tom. The first drink, you're taking this tag of bone and now I was drinking some of this because I just I didn't even know what it is like. Now, don't stop your draw I just wanted you're gonna start with tages a. Just if you're gonna start with it, you're gonna start with it. I had some of this, he started with the road who but you haven't finished your roles because it's still in your hand. We're gonna make this court.

You're gonna make this clip. You cannot drink t bone Wabby, I'll be rapping somebody cat because I so so I need to understand that because you guys, you worked that nervous You worked that nervous intern. Buck is an artist, that nervous you are. That's the artist. When Buck got signed, we all got signed. But was it already black Moon the group? Already black Moon's nervous? And you know, we go up a nervous druids in there holding it down. I don't know. I didn't know what the funk I

was doing. But you're not. You don't know. I'm like, but you know what it was we came into the label. It was it was a factor of we came into the label that there was working but nervous record. You just look around and look at a everybody and you just see that one person that you know, yo, that's that's get it. That's my nigga right there. Get it. Drew was that dude Like when we walked in and we gave anybody, yo, what's up? Ya, what's up? We've

seen Drew was like what Drew? You good? And what happened was, um, a situation happened and Drew actually jumped in. He's from into action. Okay, you know what I'm saying. He went from being Drew to do it with the label to Drew of duckdown without even knowing it. You know what I'm saying. And that's what happened, Like YO, believe it or not. I literally put my head down. I looked up Drew a book like, yeah, duckdown. That's exactly how duckdown happened to me. Let's make that sounds

The name was down was always the name. How did it happen to you? Because then I'm I mean that that was essentially it was like over time they had the management, some management situations were going on. We were we were acting and serving in that role. We started doing a lot over when who got of props came out? The props start making the record start going on. It's five ft evil being buck shot. Everybody does never know what everybody does like that right over that for everybody?

Five now make sense? Nothing? Who the problem? Who the problem? We're running around buckers at this point, he's looking for a new monagement, right, and so we're running around, we're doing a lot of things. I actually set up a whole bunch of meetings for Buck with different managers that I knew or that was coming across in Like, I wasn't even seeing myself in that role yet. I'm still young, I'm still I just I just didn't picture like that. We did a few meetings and Buck will come out.

And at the end he said, you know what, and I give Buck all the credit because he said, we could just do this ourselves, like the way we're doing it right now. Let's just keep doing it like this until you know, we see if we need more help. So I didn't argue with that. And you know, at that point, like I said, I was, I was speaking on it earlier, but he introduced me to to Smith and Wesson, so exactly where I was going. And that's that's all it took. Now, that's what it was, let's

do it. So after he said let's do it ourselves, I said, in my mind, well, we're gonna this is at the time, right bad boy, and um, you're starting to get a little bit of no limit. All these things are starting to pop up these these labels, right, maybe it's kind of they just started. So I said the book. If we're gonna do this, then we obviously need the next group. And he he I think he was testing me early because he brought me a few things that were just the noodles, and I told him,

I was like, no, not like artist. Yeah, he brought He brought a couple of things, and I was like, I don't know, he just brought me some desert s called him out on it, and he said, all right, all right, I got I got two guys you need to meet. And he started gonna bring him to an in store in New Jersey. And the next in store we went to, he brings Smith and Western and I'm videotaping. You can look this up on YouTube, but I'm videotaping them. Take a microphone. Evil puts on deep cover and needs

to step up to the microphone in this. And remember, if you got to know what the in store is like, these youngs won't know what the in store right. But it was packed and they're ready to take their heads off in the in store if they don't represent. And he was up above the store. It was a black moon in store. So now I gotta ask y'all, where was y'all in life when y'all met them? Like what was this the focus to meet them, get signed or this was just like I'm nice to live, you know.

For me, I wouldn't even around. I was hissing. I love security. I was still security and fresh were fresh out of high school in the streets, not even one fot in high school about to get thrown out the other foot in the streets in the hood. I'm from bed Style, he from the veil, so it's already tension in the hood. But some was doing mad talent shows

and winning. For me, I always wanted to be behind the boards like an engineer, produce from very very very killer is places after Hill down the Hill, and like he was doing just talent shows and ship and um he had another partner that was rocking with the man last said, all I was doing was just security, just keeping the niggers in the bitches away. So um after that, after we met him riding around and it was the

super ruter there. But because he said he said in New Jersey, is that actually meeting happened or a thing that wasn't the very first time. What I'm asking, did you know that when you met him? And this was like for me, I wasn't on it like that. That was that we used to like before, I guess before

we before we actually met Drew High. Like me and Buck, you spent a lot of time together on Franklin Avenue, Franklin Union and just standing outside talking like Buck is a visionary, you know what I mean, So he he sees he sees the future, this guy, you know. But yeah, I was. I was aspiring to be on you know. And at that point it's just like, all right, these guys got to deal, so we're just gonna ride with them.

You know. We were just shodowing these guys and we was learning everything that they was doing from the interviews, from the end stores, the studio work, and we should we shadowed them so from there yet we just picked up everything. Man, we knew he was next up. I

won't say this um. When we was working on like me, I'm about first off, working used to always go just my man still, my man, still, my man still, And I was like, yo, at the end of the day, let us do it we gotta do first, then you can bring your man still on you know what I'm saying. And it was funny because it would be Still I always knew it still and his man because Tech didn't

say anything. So to see that what I'm still what I what I'm Tech, I had a something like and when he started rum and I was like, could talk. Welcome to play a new podcast network featuring radio and TV personalities talking business, sports, tech, entertainment, and more. Play it at play dot it We're back to Drink Champs Radio with Rapper and R and d Jes. Then, so now you guys come together now Immediately, Drew, did you

did it? Did it dawn on you that you we gotta form this full fledged label or was you more and let's let's just let's just get the production company logo on there and not really be a label. We still would be happy. Honestly, we still weren't even really thinking that far ahead. I wouldn't. I could tell you it was this grand plan, but at that point it was we We brought them into nervous, introduced them to

the same place we were. It wasn't until we went got the first round of, you know, royalty statements, that we were figuring maybe something wasn't wasn't matching up to the work bad? What was every first artist like Rember distributed Nervous. Nervous was independent, dependent distributed. It was bad. We negotiating that between seven groups. And that's when we you know, and now at this point we are seeing other we are seeing other entity pop up, and we said,

you know what, let's go, let's go shop this. Right as soon as they came through the door, Um, it wasn't. It wasn't long before they introduced us to Um Steele's brother um Sean Ruck and Rock and String and Louisville as the Fab five. So it didn't take long. Now, now all of a sudden being a look, it wasn't hard to tell when you have eight mcs that rhyme the way they rhyme, and everyone had a unique style and a unique look and came together to form like

a voltron. Like you know, you just knew there was something special there. Even at that point, I think that's when we saw we could take the outside of Nervous and do our own things. But the first album was into the stage. The first one was on into the stage. Then the Shining. It calls so much disruption in jail, jail. I was in jail. They called so much disruption. Did y'all know? I can't speak on that because jail park?

But did you know? Like, because I always asked people when they come on this show, did you know you were making a classic? No? Because we didn't even know what we were doing. We didn't know what Still and Buck was. The professionals in rhyming and wrapping, I didn't they knew what Bars was. I didn't know what Bars was. I didn't know how to put together a song. You do eight sixteen in the chorus and this and come back.

I didn't know none of that ship there. But you were nice still as soon as you as soon as you let versus that even be evil. You see this empire taking off, But for some reason we heard that evil the just disappeared at one. That's funny as a fan. As a fan, we loved Buck Shot, we loved Duck Down, but we missed you, like we we wondered where were you at? I'm talking about this is not Nori. I'm not talking about Nori. This is fan as hip hop. Because I missed a guy with the ship like this,

and I'm like, where did he go? So so it is the explanation because I really don't know. This is um. You know, we went to go DJ. This is DJ girl. You know, I went on my DJ tour. I had had my Hot ninety seven show from ninety four to ninety seven. Flex flexile um, Actually, um, how do we um? Yeah, say,

that's another duckdown thing. It calls the duckdown. And it was like, you know, I come straight on my on my DJ and then beat Minus you know, like me and me, me Buck and five was going through the whole nervous records thing and you know, like that whole thing kind of left for solid takes and you guys sort of blaming each other instead of looking at the bigger picture. He had kind of like it wasn't like that. It just we just felt it just we just got

jaded by the whole business thing like that. And plus Buck wanted to build ducktown. You know what I'm saying. Five was locked up and you wanted to and I just you know, I got on I got on my d E ship. But we were running around with boot camp. Yeah yeah, I was at the same time. They they was running around. They do they'll do the boot camp on the stuff. But do you look at that Ian Walk. I mean, we're instrumental in those first four albums from from Into the Stage of the Shining to help the

Skelpton's nine turnover to O G. Sesar Storm. I think when you look back on it in a in a you know, a piece of time, it's easy to say where they go, But it wasn't really like that. It was you know, you're talking about from nine three to ninety seven at that time of making records. And then to his point to clarify, like the nervous situation when we when we did our deal with Priority Records, which

was a West Coast based label. Part of what was still going on was the first it was like Brian Turner all the dudes you saw in the con Movi but but he but Black Woman was having that priority they try to we was held up in contract, held up in contract. So we were moving forward with Duck down,

with health of Skelter and o GC. That's like a year and a half, two years a time in the making right there in Black Moon and Smith and Western were kind of they were in this legal battle, were nervous and they were frozen for my thing is I'm not because I'm not just gonna sit down like I was producing other other people. So it was no termoire. It was just like you just won. This is my family,

and we go through a little family stuff. But at the end of the day, these are the dudes I came in to do it with, and I'll never front on them, you know, and I'm loyal to that what I'm saying. Italy a lot of a lot of cats. I thought it was some bullshit whatever. Not. The whole thing is basically we had we was going through the bullshit of the lord of the label ship and you know, and also catch was building their own entities, you know, because because if it was it was some bullshit, trust me,

it would have came out. I'm saying. But that's the only thing. It was just you know, family do another thing. So now now buck this is bucks Idea or this is you and Bucks. No, it was it was bucks Idea, but now Wuchanger had already came out. Just yeah, Wu Tang was we were black Moon was that was ahead of Wuchang because I remember, oh dirty Bastard came to a couple of show. We went camp came after not not not really because it mix of everything bubbling up.

We came and right in a minute. The idea was invented before, Wuchange saying, but I don't think we looked at it like a supergroup, even though because they already had it was just Smith and Wesson, black Moon, there were one. They came out with the protection that as a whole, we came out Smith and Wesson. What actually happened with that lawsuit? Smith and Wesson try to see you? Yeah, the gun company I changed the name is a gun

company who kills me? Super fucking you making us to post the boys they like it was was he was in a consumer one sales music one, sobody see these gun that sells dead? Right? Let me find that musically all the cellsasically. They sent us a season desist a stack of paper as a latal turn. Yes, ceason desists ain't good? Yea the stop. We're going after the souls. We're going after anybody that prints you'll We're going k yeah,

black straight blacklist. Now drew as you being executive, what did you feel with Smith and Western the gun company is sending your emails? There wasn't even emails back then. It wasn't paper contract super you like we are. When you get that, you can't serve. Do I do pluck? In my mind? What I do play? I don't play a cross see playing tennis God comes up again. At that point, it was still nervous to put the album out, so they're looking for the label boss. So they got it.

They didn't want to put the money up to fight what what they knew was going to be a super loan of a lawsuit. We are caught in the middle of putting out a new a new album, and we don't want to get held up any further. So you know, they decided. We all decided jointly. We know that's how we make decisions. Like we sat down and chopped it up, and we said we're not going to stop the music over a name. And they came up with the name

and how they wanted to move forward. And the hood was mad at Coco brother somebod just strow that up playing. I don't know if anybody we love Swipper Western so much that when yes were the Koco Brothers, He's like, no, ye, like, who is that playing? I never said I never said it. I ain't gonna lie. That was I was like that was always something we used anyway, because during the whole time when when these guys was working on into the stage, we was we was bringing the weed to you know me.

We were bringing the choo cho. You know, we just make some figure the funny flaws when they got just sitting come home. What so y'all not to cut you off, miss y'all, miss y'all like, um, it was a wood sign your mother, that's all. Look some most distract we getting quick. How you got was rapping and we all want to be like that's we don't want to from roers Hirsch. We all followed suit. We all don't general still juster still even you were rhyming before you met

buck show actual fact. Yeah, so alright now, describe was the situation where you met buck shot? Where was your lack? I feel like ya was in mass he somewhere. I don't know, no buckets are you know? He eat eat pretty much? Did you change your light? I've crime it was sister Tracy figure, Tracy Figure. I went to school, Um, nice school, you know, I was a nice school, Westerhouse,

and um I had to show at the Apollo. I mean she I had I did a couple of you know, with a variety shows Lawn Alexander, Brooklyn, Niggas Matt in Hollow Um not well, now we would meet up in Brooklyn and shoot up. The first the first we actually met super new or at the handle, so you bet them in all at the follow we had to show at the Hollow. Okay, you before you knew before a new brother was the first time we actually really you know, met but but before then it was just I just

I knew it assist. I was in class with her. But you know, but that was we had no no, no, no building, no nothing before that saying we was on our own twist. So he seed you at the Apollo and he performed with us he whether it wasn't him and five after was dancing music the fucking five Houston also dance for m os t. Most old than I sound Trooper was with steal Me and a couple of people right that was the name before Sniff and wady R. I ain't learned already. Hold on, hold on, let you

get some clarification. Before it was clear everybody was there was a dance used to dance too, but Sean used Sean used to dance to the Yeah what what was? What was for ship? Lay ship? That was his favorite ship. I'm gonna go here, let me get yea no, but you had a show in Tompolo, which is a very big thing. Like Norlan. People don't get shows at Apollo. The common denominated between his Buck's sister Tracy, they went to night school and she was dancing lived in Queens.

For some reason. She might live and Queens my mom, she might and my mom. But that was a common denominator to that was the link between still and from there. From then, that's when, because then if Buck was still on his grind doing what he was doing, but it just happened. She was like, yeah, my sip, my brother rat and he dances so at the Apollo. That's when you know, right there, Yeah, it up back in the days we were dancing in the club, standing on the

wall looking, let's make looks. One thing and one thing I should notice about everybody. You guys are getting loose. I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, so listen. One thing I've noticed about Price was when he was in the Google, I felt like he was held. Now. I don't want to say hell back, but it felt like he was contained the minute he became Sean Price. And I remember he took on the our narchy, the Focused Rapper. It was that ship was true man, he

said the movie disrespectful balls. Ever, while he was claiming the Focus Rapper a lot, I mean, I was just like, you know, you know, I don't know if you know, that was my favorite rapper, Like I said, character mode. When he changed his name, he changed name from rough to his real name, Price, and people still thought that was rapp when let we's see you know, people running to yo, tell Sean Price. You know, I mean that rock is you know what I'm saying, that Sean Price

and he's the same person. You know what I'm saying that he know what? Did you notice that once he it felt like he was liberated, not in a where like like he was bad, but it felt like he was able to beat himself. When you have a partner, y'all work together. You understand what I'm saying. You can't direct the attention that just you. You gotta think about your partner, the team right, team player all the way.

So when you become so low, it's all you, but you don't have I'm gonna stop him for a second six because some people go so low and they don't embrace the character that he embraced. He went solow and he was the exact itself everything around that funny ship and all that. I writed Sean, if he to a barbecue and left front video left, he came through, he said, he said, ship, it's probably dog I can't. Yeah, I

saw your video. I was like, this is nigga motherfucker's now he's on no idea, Yeah, I had no idea what I was doing because when he said that, he had a gatorad in this hand, and I just really did like this, Yeah, and funnies. It's like a natural comedian funny, but at the same time it's being hands would slap the ship out, like where it's just something you either accept it and you rapped with it or you don't funk with him on him with you. So, I mean, I'm so sorry to go in this dark place,

but I just have to be in that. We're here. So how hard was it? Because the hip about community sat back and we heard that, you know, Sean passed away, and me personally, I was fucked up because me and me and Sean have been great forever, but we were getting closer and closer and closer, and it was getting closer to the point where I just we're call him and be like, your foul nigger what I did, because that's just like him to be curious. He was one

of them. I remember old Boss up about you know, price, and he was like, welcome, yeah, and I was like yeah. He was like sure, he's hill And I said, you never listened to his lyrics because I said, you never told me, and was like, I think I gotta signed

this guy. I think I gotta sign. And the week after he passed away and bus kept hitting me, and I didn't ask the bus calls for that week, not because I don't respect the bus, because I absolutely do, but it was just like, I just wanted to deal with the morning as opposed to what was going on. And then and then afterwards, I'm gonna be honest, Sis, everybody seeing how great Sean was. After hold on one second, Sis, one second, how many times did I was trying to

call you? I was like, you tell Sean to come funk with me? Right, Because I really knew how special this kid was. I didn't know what to do with it. I didn't know what to do with it. I know what to do with it now, but it's so many years. But but a lot of people have a lot of people did yes, So I'm just a lot of people did. You have to understand he had put out three solo

albums and those ships. For an artist to reinvent himself, right, that's a very difficult thing to do, especially for what you call an old school artist or um you know whatever the whatever the phrases artists from following. He recreated himself where he was touring, where he was selling albums, where he was he was making a good as living stuff and be reinventing himself. Safrans fans and they kept doing it, and they kept show me when them and when. It was a lot of labels at that time and

point that we're recognizing what was going on. I saw a buster one day in front of Transit on Broadway. I remember he pulled me and sick stickers all. Yeah, him outside trans and you know how a bust of grabbing when you went to Yo and he this is a couple and this is probably like a year before year maybe two before he passed, and he was like you know I'm gonna work with Sean. I want to like, all right, well we already moved him, but everything would

would always come back to Sean. But one thing with Shan is and he had the choice. He never switched teams. Said that don't matter, no matter that he never switched teams. So you've seen you've seen him in the group, and then you've seen him as a solo artist. Where did you think his space was more comfortable as as when he became Sean Price? Okay, explain he was able, you know, um because he wasn't funny at all as a group, Like I never laughed at rocking rock at all. It

was like now Price comes, I'm like, that was the Brooky. Yeah, that's all I want. I always looked at myself like bis Markey with a gun. You see that. That's always I looked at myself and I said, damn this thick. It doesn't turn into Bismarke with two guys. He's got now Sean, Sean, I'm happy. It's like big but actually a lot of sense. That's always looked at myself because you know, picking bugers, picking buggers made me laugh and that and that was the police is that's something like

the police your pride, you know, for that. So but that's how I always looked at Sean because Bis Markey was my idol and everybody hate it Bis and I hate it, and they just didn't, I mean from from my era, they didn't. You know what I'm saying. I'm just saying my people didn't take Bis as serious as pain as Brock came or whatever. But this made me laugh and I always wanted to be entertained and laugh

at the same time. And that's what you show. When BIS came, it was like, oh, that was the ultimate show. And then I'm not gonna lie. I felt like I took on that on our key. I don't know that word. I'm sorry, excuse his homework. So um, I took on that and then I left it alone. And I left it alone and I tried to make club records and party records and all that. John reminded that you like, I'm being this when you know that, and he did that.

So do you think because me personally, and this is some fun to say what, I'm gonna keep it real, keep I developed this perfect personality when I gained weight. After I gain weight, I was three d and fifty pounds. I didn't want people to look at my stomach became so I became funny. Concentrate That's how you can't concentrate on what I'm saying. Come train on everything else but me. But Sean never got big as me. So how does Sean, in your opinion, develop that that that you know personality?

I would say, you know the struggle it takes you there. You know the ups the downs. You got personal problems, you got real problems. You understand what I'm saying. Um. You know, as artists, and I say this a lot um, we have to deal with the world, what the fans want, how people are gonna look at us, how to perceive us. At the same time, you're dealing with personal issues from your family. You want to help everybody, You want to make everybody happy, and all that ship just builds up

you you try to direct your attention elsewhere. I'm saying, Um, you know, it's it's hard. Like he lost his mom's and then he had to get out there and do a show. You know what I'm saying. His mom you know she didn't raise them. But Sean Price, I'm not gonna lie when she got on stage. It's so beautiful, makes a little off right. I don't know if y'all understand. I don't know if y'all know what we do here at this show, but I'm gonna show the Price at

the stage. Yes, talk about it. She was, Yeah, he brought it out, prope that prospect cart that was what what was that show called? That was with us? The stage of them and he from now the first time from but now she doing photography versus everything. You can't stop it with her now, Drew, I got a question for you, and this has to do with Sean Price. And this might be kind of wrong in a sense, and I'm gonna tell you why. This is one of

the most depressing times I had in hip hop. I went to Shady Records, I don't know, I remember the year exactly, and I went to visit Riggs Morales and you walked in and you was pitching Sean to them. He was like yo, and he was giving the illest pitch to them. And I remember Riggs just like not not being sure of what you were saying. And I'm like, because I already know, I'm I know what what he meant to the movement, Like how could why would you

question this? So I walked away from from that office like disheartened the hip hop, like why the funk were they not understand? This is a legend already. Why would you not pick this up? But and then you had to pitch it? I mean I probably went up there for for Paul because we were already cool. We first of all, we have yeah, we have history with them, right, that goes back to a whole other story that we we have at one to remember. I do remember that day.

You also have to remember at a certain point right that we're talking about, like it is a lot of comedy to it, but they're like two burns point. There was a lot of struggle. Also around nine we've lost that glorious production deal that Priority Records, Smith and Western signed to raucous right with me and were sitting back going we gotta regroup and we gotta find new funding.

We gotta find We went back to my apartment, like we went from offices on on in the penthouse with copy machines and all types of crazy ship to the copy machine being in my kitchen. So at the same time we're looking at we got artists that are active and we're saying we gotta we gotta do something for them as well. And we started making deals that that killed us, like we were dismantling the roster. Like literally

at Smith and Western was signed to raucous records. But at the same time that that, I think that was like something that hurts and the beginning when he didn't ran out because you're saying that sign is hurt and hurt. It hurt us because we couldn't provide the home anymore. We couldn't provide that kind of wasn't just us no more, it was outside the outside entity. We made a new deal. We signed, you know, we signed a group like everybody said, alright,

they was our deal. So so Sean was also without a deal. And so at this time, like Rock the partner and held the Skelter Rock, he had a deal with with Priority. They kept him through that deal. So they were allowed, right they were, but it was it was through that contract. But they were allowed to keep one artist from our roster, and that's what they chose. They chose it, that's what they chose. They were in

our contract. They were allowed to keep one act and they chose Rock, And I think that put a huge chip on Sean's shoulder, you know. And so we we went back to finance, we went back to a We went we went back to putting out in singles. And at that time, there were a lot of like, you know, different different labels were called Steve Rifkin called um, you know,

Paul called. So we were taking a couple of these exploratory meetings, like I thought that might be a good fit for him, like if m if he did a deal with him, that was something he would have happened, I swear, But I don't know how hard I was, like, I don't know if I walked away from that so hard. I was like, how could this not work? But I never felt like saying like because I like not makes sense, like why why you have to pitch that now? But I never no, bringer, I never felt like that. That's

why I guess the independent spirit damn. But when I'm siding, I didn't leave that meaning to him anyway, I'm doing the game at that point on so I'm even like like felt in the are just rap, just can't get it already. Family, So you know what I'm saying, You're going to take a drink another one? You are you are you sprossed to be drinks before? Are your bills? Matt? No, no, you ain't. Who's got the hook? He done? No, No, give us the one. We're gonna gonna talk about the

bell their hook next there you go. No, I'm just right over here. We wont sold on, hold on because all the shot. So this is this is where I want to go to. You know how many chishi? Man? Do you know how many people have got shot? Man? That was I think that was got a lot of nigga shot that was. That was in the forefront. I think Nigga's hand right now, shot Nigga's and we're go please and we just shooting Nigga. We're fun the vision

gun class yo. Still you're sucking that tanger nobody, Joe R. They didn't shoot y'all did actually wait, yeah, I'm a right more shot. Yeah, I can't still can't. Can't say it, just say it's always having this out here as you go. So I want to help, I said, No, they did show it was actually it was actually a black moon and they did the joint Actually it was actually they didn't who got the problems? But put up what up? Yo?

And then the shots went out. Shot Wait a minute, yeah, you canna interrupt when you stopped and you see this shot, friend, this is not a shot. This is guy's the worst same shot. But this shot, this is a shot like put on your drink. This good cheating. Still that's light we're doing. Give go them talking about my shot to Russ and I talk to table about it. We turn. We gonna tell Sad for me. Hold everybody, Russ, Russ you. I don't know if y'all understand what we do here

drink Champs. What we do our drink Champs is we support shot legends. And I don't know why phone has any more shots of anything. I'm good. This is like because the phone's gonna sleep on the terrorists. You don't see any any rich I don't seen. I see the last war report. Check coming. It's very good. So he's good, a good deal and he's supreme, check too, I see this very hard. He's by far. He's now we're here to take from Murden where he's still like the father's

guy in the world. But that's my brother. And you know what, we celebrate your birthday too, nice right, my brother kam Vic the Norway Santiago represents for you. I love you since I met you, and we stayed together and we're gonna be together. And I want you to keep doing what you gotta do because gotta does what you gotta do. You gotta stop wearing rabbits. If I don't make it home, you don't know what happened. Welcome to play a new podcast network featuring radio and TV

personalities talking business, sports, tech, entertainment, and more. Play it at play dot It. We're back to Drink Champs Radio with Rapper and R and d J. Then, now let me ask you'll something that's collective. As a collective, to me, you changed the face of hip hop because y'all was the first. People like Wutan came after y'all. Even Master B came after y'all. I said, they want to contain their music and keep it together, But in my opinion,

y'all was the first people to do it. That was the first people to say I'm gonna maintain and stick together and do what they do. Now. Was that was that attitude that all of y'all. Brother Oh, that was just your ball. I think that that that was everybody. That's why after one group, we always went back and got the next group, but got on. He came back, Dot Smith for Western Western got on. We went back and got help the scale to the scaleter got on. They came back and they we O G C. That's

why I was the great, That's why they was that fast. Five. It was that was that was we was used to being around up, being around each other, like we didn't have we didn't have the support of of like we didn't have the O G s in the industry giving that Jews. So everything we did we learned. We was like on the job training like buck was is it extremely smart doing the job training? We don't know nothing about me lea. We learned everything we learned we was doing.

Internet was like yo, we we had to come up to the priority to to to get on the internet and talk to the fans. Nobody wanted to do that, you know, I mean not everybody is on the phone like tweeting and text in every five seconds. And so it's like we learned from each other. So we was used to that. And when we wasn't on the road, we was at we was at home, you know what I mean. He was trying to find the best weed spots in Brooklyn and Hall. I was like, yeah, it was.

It was Les name games to Wilson, head out, every Queen's niggers waiting broking for the best weeds going on. Lewis Lois like seven. That's how I caught a lot of queen's doing. I'm like, y'all, we we're on the corner of my house. School drop. It was at least two times a week I was bump into you and ray at body bag you take? So let me take something this. I see this again every weeks while New York and were just look at it. What you what you're doing here? Damn Hi, I'm gonna see your name.

Were both there for the same reason, but I just want to keep the team big enough. Duck down because it was something that that really bothered me. The other day. I believe the guy that was here earlier, I think he tweeted me and said when is guy No, no, no, no, the guy he said, you know the god that guy other now white, that's your right guy I did. It was Henry who tweeted me and they said we aren't going to have him dunk down on and you know what I said, were ready to get Buckshot. I think

it was time for buck Shot. Where's the guy? I said, he's gonna think the guy. I not only wanted to get dun in don't protect him right now, but I wanted all of you. I want to hold on the phone. I got past. I wanted all of y'all together. And not only did I wanted only y'all together, because I get mad when people mentioned the greatest labels all time, and people Richard mentioned the greatest independent people of all time, and then they don't mention y'all, Like I personally get

mad at that. I appreciate that because it's like I survived it. I lived it, and they're still here. How can you fucking not include them? I mean, we came from we came from We came from a place that that that raised us as warrious man, like you know, going through going through the older labeled drama and you know, um losing people caluties of war. You know, I don't rock open on contracts and stuff like I guess we developed hard skin man. And it's like we've always been

underdogs and we never looked for anything. We always did it ourselves. Like it started as duck down management and went to duck down records when we was when we was down, like any other team, when we was down, fat fire was up. You know when we when we got back up, we got back with the fat five. So it was just us through the whole, through the whole thing that we never looked for. We never looked for anything. Man. I think Drew and and Buck was genius is in the sense that they got it after

a while and said we can do this ourselves. Once y'all got popping. Was there other labels that came into play and said up, down, come with us, let's talk about it. Let's talk about it because Drew needs to feel good. Don't know about it? I got said, Man, we was already groomed, man like we was not. It wasn't You couldn't. You couldn't take from you. Gonna make joke because even Sean Prank made jokes. Sean Press said I would have left for nobody wore from me a deal.

He told me you would take me with him though he said he always you like with that big check, you want to deal with him? Right? He wasn't. I did him. You know, what's the relationship for me? When I did my bid? Right, it was. It was. It was. It was not a lot of it was not a lot of people I could count on, but it was. I was getting fan mail. I was getting bags of fan mail. I was getting a lot of fucking fan man. But I got one letter dud. I was like, I

loved that. I was like, no, this can't be real. It was for fucking rock. And I looked at that ship said death and he spoke on behalf all y'all niggas like yo, I'm speaking on behalf down, like my nigga, We're riding for you. And I came home and I sucked you separate. I sucked you separate. I spoke to you separate. That was the really ship, Yoda. It was not. I didn't get no male from no limit. I didn't get a man from den. I didn't get the mail

from fucking I got mail from y'all niggas. Man put on home and make millions, and did get a male from millionaires. There's really ship of my life. Now we know that we know the better shit of that man. That's what we came from us. We was raised in the hood. I even gave me loving jam like that's how we hooked up with pops like baby, that's real because y'all was fucking possible for anybody. That's what the baby brown baby. They don't got baby. I don't don't

got baby powder in Miami. You know, I got the fake Motimorial niggers. They don't gotta. They don't got they got Egyptian and ship like that, like you gotta get right of it like fake. You gotta have fake coloonna every day. Everybody not gonna do like the Polis. I don't know that once besil starters like a motherfucker. What else? How to day? How is how is that? Because it feels like all right, now you know what all that

other ship. But we gotta make you know what we gotta make this is the distinction clear right, because we're going through a couple of decades of what we've done, and so along the way we evolved and we understood that we had I have to make the distinction too, between between boot Camp Click and Duckdown. Right we can't Click is a supergroup comprised of all the artists that

we're talking to right Down. But then Duckdown is a label still would go on and we distributed a lot of records for some artists that you may not even think that were the distribution company for We put our records from Cares One. We put our records from be Real, from Pharremont, from Black Rob. We've done four records for Statics selected with ninth one with Pete Robe and we we we evolved into a into a label, a consultant company in the distribution company because we had to. We

had to move with the times. It wasn't just gonna be about but see, I'm a be this real careful because you're gonna get me in trouble. You see the videos. Just see the videos. Young and May runs through a partnership that we have when we handle her distribution of marketing. But she's got right now, but she has her own entity and we're very careful and respectful of how we presented because she's not technically on duckdown. But what is

well we work for her people out again. Look and you have asked, she just went three times platinum on on them. Gonna throw up you trying to say, be like so anyway, we don't down. We do that to a subsidiary company called three D and that that's just so so now explain that to upcoming artists who would like to be downright we meet. We made a lot what you're doing for these new artist because people don't understand that new artists have old school people behind them.

And I don't mean you put a good team, you put a good team together. Getting up on iTunes is not going to do it for you. A lot of people can go to tune Core or whatever and think the records up on iTunes and they're good. You still need a good network of people, experienced people that can go and talk to these people and get you positioning and get you marketing things and brands and different deals

and bunch of strategy together. So that that became our role with with with m A. And we have incredible success with her and big up to her. She you know she's doing her thing like she's fully independent. She's fully independent. We handle her distribution and her marketing. So, um, what did you do? What did you do? Because I soaked to a couple of radio people, and a couple of radio people told me you do your A couple of radio people told me that you called them and said,

how do I moved this record right? Right? So we dropped the record. She got the viewers that everything was starting to move, you know, but on radio wasn't only Flex went on it early and we had brought her around. We made many rounds with way before she dropped. She she had a several videos. Static can tell you. We brought in the Statics house. We were making our rounds and introducing them to the DJ's, bringing her everywhere she had to go. And when she caught the record, Flex

had already seen it, you know. He went in on the record. He believed in it, and he started to go on it and and literally from Flex supporting it spread to the other DJs and a good records. A good record, man, it's not I wish we could take more credit for it. And a lot of times even some of our artists around us going it. What did you do? Who'd you pay? What? You know? Like good music sells itself, It really does. When your new artis, when you're legend, you have a great record, you're right

and still times right now people she's she's shot. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to cut you because I want you to don't continue ship um, but when you are legend, you have a great record, and they'll just be looked over. But if you have the new artist hype, and I believe she had the new artist hype. I'm not saying she created that hype. It she did a thing with it. Definitely etatic static. You always come on making this ship.

I mean that's always happening, right like like generically about the caller right now, but generically like calling we buckshot what cold? We were coming from a place where when we like like we shot baby mass from my hood, was it say, you know what, fact where we brought the life, We brought life to the music, Like we wasn't imitating life that we brought the real life to to the to the beats, you know what I'm saying. So it's like, um, what the fun little guys, you're

about to get kicked out. Throw it out there. I biggest fans was due from Brownsville du dudes, from dudes from best star dudes that knew the story. So it wasn't it wasn't. It was not from Brownsville buckets, from Crownhimes, Um East East. They thought the Brownsville Um white plane Bush. I used to be flat Bush, always be straight, jamaking queens, jamaking about all shut up man, you know you get off the brown did you're making about while the clocks

clocks on? Listen dating this right, this is where she used to go, making me spec that's he had, you know, quez to get a He asked so much and all that. Come on. That's where we are right now. They got to my man saw all the south side south side of wings has to bring bucks back and hold that so they can put in the mic in the front front of Mike. You hit me you want you want? You want a baby with the drink? Drink your bucks. Can you hear me? Bos? You know? Can you hear me?

Boks out? You just your boy and a learning we're learning it after finally, that's right. That's what's going on with my brother. How you doing my brother? It's I've been good man, I'm gonna man, I'm I'm back into saying I'm just don't get him covering it. I'm kind. So we heard the thing everything horn and you know we heard that you're fighting a certain thing. That's the reason why you couldn't come out tonight. Do you do you want to share with the people or you don't

have to if you don't want to. I mean, it's it's a good conviction. You know a lot of people. People know that the whole even seeing me staying up for like the medical marijuana and stuff. And then you know,

like Visi Pele thought that was a joke. And then because I started doing like a lot of restas into that because of know, I heard that it helps with epilepsy, right, and you know what I'm saying, uh, just you know me, you know that's something that I was diagnosed with, you know, early two dollars, and you know, and and and and

and it's not you know, it's a real situation. There's millions of people out there that's that's that has the same situation that I know can think you benefit from a from a voice like me, you know saying educating people on in recently to maintain you also down when the in situations where they may not have a consistent inal situation and not only is but a lot of

other physical conditions that people suffer from. You know, it becomes a mentor I provide when you you you see other I guess quote unquote really a normal wish quote normal resident. But sometimes you don't know what every individual omselves is dealing about. Our culte through. So sometimes you know, extra voice on the side to tell you, YOI everything's gonna be cool. Everybody dealing with something, but no matter what it is, you know, he pushing forward. Maintain hold

your head, maintain your health. You know, don't stress, you know, saying staying your regiment things that makes to study, study yourself, make sure you know, because ain't nobody gonna do it like you for you, you know, saying, no matter what, you always got to be the one that staying on the top of yourself. Like the entertainment industry is a real, real,

real stressful industry. And I know every artist who did in this game knowing you know what I'm saying, There's time when I've done the road and I was like, man, I wouldn't wish this one more work anything but what but the love of getting on stage. It's the places at all, you know what I'm saying. So so that combination right there together can become, you know, a rush for some people and a heavy load for others. Let

me ask you something. Let me ask you something before you were you get about it, Describe what epilessy, what does the epilepsy? To describe what that is? Like, what does it do to you? It makes you feel weak. Epilepsy is uh, it's a neurological uh disorder. Basically, um, every everything that we do in our body daily focus actually comes from my brain. You know what I'm saying now, I'm sorry. And sometimes the average person is just say,

you're not that active. People with epilepsy gett nervous firing extra extrass so that it's like a motherfucker that's just stribling on on actual speed, you know what I'm saying. And and that being the case, sometimes when the body stretches out, when it takes on too much, you can know you knock up, you do what they call have what they call ethesure, or you lock up or you know.

People have different forms it. Some people look, some people steer, some people some people may just you know, lock on the way up from who just you know, some people want is out of the different forms of an out there, but basically all expense from the same hyperactive another cells in the claim. So it foundations out there a lot of you know people, I'm pretty sure y'all thought me seeing them and probably walk right by them because people didn't know what that disorder was or a lot relegant

it was or whatever. But it doesn't ressert you that when you don't clive ten cents came twenty ft a dollar or whatever actually goes a long way, man, because I started doing a lot of research in the foundations did that and they help you know what I'm saying that help well? Buck yo, man. Yeah, I don't know if you know what's going on right now. Right now,

we're saluting the whole duck down legacy. Right now, we're here with Drew, We're here with Miss Sean Price, We're here with when you could do that, We're here with tech and still and then a poem wants you to you I would turn you were at than me. You you forgot about okay. It was the time with me, you and the young okay, okay, and we were shunking brock. I think at the time, me and my dude you want Juls like it was due. I think it was like you know that this is the first time, like

you were okay, and I think it was sticky. It was something she said blacks, right, you just say cracks like yeah, someone over the third also get the black subs out and if you fell sleep. Uh huh you did something. Jimmy did something to me. I fell asleep. Buck is this is going one? My bad? Buck. I'm sorry, but you know y'all, but your baby malls in my hood, your baby Mamo from left Frank a little bit. Then you have left Frank Yo want to say something to you.

Hold on, no, no, no this Paul, what's up? Baby? What I heard up? He said? You know, I just I just want you to like to know the people where they can donate that, you know, to epilepsy in orlands. Right, I think if you can't share it shoe because you can't share shoe. Um um, it's shot the uh Epileptic Foundation. Actually it too, but uh I gotta I gotta go your ever foundation, uh Google, Google and your friends getting

I'm trying something. Story story Okay, I like, have you go to truck with store, be with Boogoo telling Boogoo love company. Study. It's a little young lady who she's about She's right, she should be about ten years ago right now. She sat the whole with the research and the stuff that they get to her and all the like the opportunity to dad to be so bad and

everything that they came for her. She has been good for like a couple of years now, so you know, um, you know, and and just you know, just it don't even have to be this because any any other foundation that because again we're different beating in this situation where you just super beating a high food man for broke leg and you see all the even you you just see all the misfortunate and stuff like on you. You know what, your life is a precious thing man. You

know he appreciated. Love it and live it or live it out. Man. That's what I did. Made you see, look man, work down for life, duck down down for life. You see when the man coming Nash, we wanted the last moke that very much of crushed down from many of the rains, right right. That's what that's that's what

that's what we're get into tonight. Yeah, y'all, we're bigging y'all up, y'all, y'all Nicks originated fucking pop Pope gave y'all the most love y'all, the original bad boy, the original death roll hold on which one of y'all had to let them road the pock hold on. Hold on, Let's press the buck and let me coming back. You just don't even know he would, yo, Buck. I just want to thank you so much, my brother who wants you to get you get well soon and you already

know drink chance. We're all about bigging up our legends. If we need you on here that someday once you get well, we want you back. We want you on here, and we want to say thank you so much my brother. Yes, Recipe shaw Price, that's right for one love my brother big. So now I hate to go to this so I hate to after this great call, after we have the beautiful miss shaw Price here, after we have all this, I hate to go to this question, but I have to ask this question. Go forward. How the fund did

y'all cash be for Biggie Small. I was waiting for that one. I wasn't there. I was seven. Got your way a getting out of this one. I know I didn't make somebody like you in the video opposite. Nobody, nobody ever asked y'all all the time, and ain't about then is asking about it. That's just that was my nigger from long time, like big from the stone, from the stars, my brother and um. It was just a miscommunication and misunderstanding what happened. And you know what I mean,

it's it was over get Money. No, it wasn't. It wasn't was it was dean that it was just a was just it was just son that even wasn't this po go down away it went down? It was it was just hotheads against hotheads, youngest against youngest and then the way it got niggets through water runner and the fire was put out and that was it me what actually mean a video dudes had we can't forget that's had that core red that get Money core dudes recorded

that song. Dudes recorded that song, so we had that so O g C had that song already original class right now. We went to Palladium that night we saw Biggie performing it, so it auto magically. The youngest was like, oh they you know, stole my joint, you know what I mean? So because they had a song called get Money. No, they had a song with that. With that, course I

could be asked which nobody owned that? That's somebody else's super rics really, but in that climate, you know what I mean, that climate, that Palladium climate, and then you got then you got the then you got the label. The label was always looking for the juice where they can find the juice act and you know, let's let's let's the label. The label fed the fuel to that was j Clark Kent and Easy LP LP. It was y'all producer and LP was Bigg East producer Eloy Like,

you know, you told us a story. You know, the nothing about Yo, it's not nothing to talk about Like yes, Ututa yo, chill out he want, Here's not nothing to talk about it. Like I said, Big was my nigga and these are my family. These are my niggas. I'm a bad start nigger from birth to the death and Big was my nigger for life. It's still Junior Mafia Ski all of me. So it don't have to be coming up for that ship that is don't know about it. If you don't know about it, then it's not you

wasn't dead. You don't need to know about it. Yeah, I understand that, and I respect that to one percent. But you know what we do is we just we just Yeah, respect to what you do, man, but certain ship and certain things my niggas don't know. I'm not talking about nigga. At the end of the day, this is hip hop his too true. So sometimes we have to talk about but things that the wound is already held, and this is the wound right here. See that everybody

think it's bigger. Ain't here to clarify, ain't no, I would, I would if I would prefer y'all clarified, even if even if y'all were then, But the thing is, the thing is we have to address this because we were I was in D and D when I felt the pressure. I felt the pressure where I'm like, they're like, yo, you can't go there, Like why, like he goes, you know, biggest on my side. I'm like okay, and they're like I didn't sunk down on the other side, and I'm

in the middle. I'm in the middle and we're premo. We're doing primo. And then we heard some ship. And the thing about it is, I ain't trying to general on the negativity in case you thought in case because we think about no, but think about it is this is for the fast. Sometimes the fast. No, sometimes they don't know. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't need Yeah, but you know why they don't need it. You ain't killed big, You ain't killed big. You know what I'm saying,

So that's what they need to hear. So so, so what they needed is you say that misunderstanding like I would be my motor my motorbike, my motorbike, pedal bike or whatever. By even driving through the hood of my car. Big would pull up on your part and get in my car. We would go uptown to every week spot

that's the weed spot that for at least two hours. No, no, we've been sold and it drugs because me Big Money all is up in there or de rockets in there for literally an hour and change didn't come back to the block. So are you saying are you saying and I'm sorry, I'm gonna get a little deep. So all you saying when when the beef actually did happen with Big, you was in like damn, what was going on? Because

describe that moment. That's what I'm asking. Subscribed that moment because because I heard this is what I heard from the streets that Get Money was a duck down Wreckord Big came into the studio. He heard it and he just like, fuck it, I'm gonna just do But he did a different version of it. It wasn't y'all version, but it was the same basis, and he felt like he didn't even like talk to y'all. So and and is that with the beef started from I'm sorry, I mean,

I love it, be man, it wasn't. I mean just just you know the problem through all that. I think what what caused the escalation of the ship was the videos because there was no communication. Because when you love communication, you like understanding. That didn't do a video when y'all was beaten up? And when you went there's no communication, you have three parts and three entities thing, Oh well, well why something? But but Big, that's your man. But

is that when Pop? Because then Pop, no, I wouldn't having that word pocket braced y'all because I wasn't. I don't think that really had nothing to do with it because Park was down with y'all anyway. Yeah, when when we see when party was locked up, Me, Big and Pop, we all all three of us as geminis. So that was our bond we had anywhere June and many strology, but it was that was always but now that was always our bond at we had. Pop wasn't even in the picture. Pop had nothing to do with it that.

I was not nothing to do that it was. But the thing is, I just want to and look, look, you know, you name, you know, but I just want to address it for hip hop history, because at the end of the day, I'm not coming at this as Nori. I'm coming at this as a fan. Your guys came in the game before me, digging and outside looking, and that's how it looked. It looked like Big and y'all have problems. It looked like, y'all you did a video.

But when I investigated, it look like that me and Big was steal in the hood, fucking with each other. That's the people. Don't rob him, that's what we need. And all of them, you know, they all know that. They know it's to this day bang season all me like, Yo, Tech that nigga Big really loved you, and it was the feeling was mutual friend be addressed. The situation wasn't because I think you used about explaining it. Did y'all

they getting money record? No? No, the record was the o GC record, and it's like, that's not that's our little brothers. So you know they told you that Big herd this hook. I don't I don't know how he got to how did they start taking personal with the Why like I said, it was a lack of communication that was there. The video was mad. Nobody until that day came up when it was happening and we got the call I was on. I was in the same studio. Now you told him about Big, like your call tech

to the phone. They call me and Big is on the phone like a TEMs on my hands. I'm like, your Big, We ain't never it was supposed to kick this as man and man and dude like, yeah, you're right, but look who were at Now that's why down let me say, let me this is this is just my opinion. I could be super fucking wrong with this one, right, Like you got these young kids that's on the label, right and when you get like you have the backing of these these industry people, like the industry knows that

the bleeds it leads. They want you to have trauma. They think if they think, if we can show this image, it may look good for your for your for your track record. So you goddamn right that ship paid a part of it. These these kids wasn't going. You know, we got beef with Big. We want to set it with that was nobody was talking about that ship. It's like yeah. So it's like, okay, how can we uh this ship? So this is where the industry comes and

it swoops down and take your babies. And they said, no, you can't even walk up the block because you you said a rat and all that. So that's where the miscommunication is at because we should have talked to the homie that wasn't. It was like none of us felt like that, you know what I mean. It's all of the hold on, hold on, hold on. This is what all the directors and the producers come in and they

start giving a little two cents. They say, well, what if that's bringing this guy's bringing a look alike of of this guy, Let's bring in mont Jordan guy. Like you know what I mean, Like, we're not thinking, yo, we're gonna do this in the video. And when we saw the video, when we saw it going down, I don't think nobody felt comfortable with I'm not gonna lie a queen's guy as a queen's guy, and I'm gonna be honest this is that's the worst thing that we

did in our career. I was the biggest choice. I was the biggest super duck down. I was the biggest happen. Like you know, I had fights for y'all in jail. I just you know, like I had fights for y'all. Like niggas was like, yo, what some things are? I'm like, what, I fights real fights, And when I see the big like you know, like video was just done? Does that? Because like, and I'm a queen's nigger and I only

fought for y'all. It's a big that's it in jail and I fought for older And then when y'all started beefing, I was like, Damn, I didn't. I didn't understand it makes sense that wasn't It wasn't no, it was nothing. So part of the reason why I'm asking ain't even ain't even a journalist, fake man, yo, you know, want to know for yourself. I don't even I don't know where. You don't know about bee. It's never been wins. We need say the communication. Hold on, Hold on hold, you're

live on the podcast, nigga. We got eight million people listening. Save what's up? Brother? Yo? What up? What up? What's up? It's my brother? Do not excuse me? No, you wanta edit? You wanta editing? Yo? People know I love you, my brother, Yo Yo, nigga, I've been writing you since she was eight years old in the pen. He was eight years old. I don't used to go damn righting you God damn and you still you ustill got the iPhones ephones got damn it, God damn. This makes much. I love your nigga.

This hold Ship got shot Judd little section, Thank you, thank you, yo yo yo. You know we love your nigga. When you come home, you're good. We're gonna get you an executive job. You're okay, that's doing time like that, yo yo yo, rich rich rich, Come on, come on, sir, come on, hold on, hold on. The camera's not on you. Relax, Let's get them. Let's get them now. The camera's on you. Look at that. You got them. You gotta he's home. Look look, bitches, you gotta give me your pussy some musy,

come on your pussy. That's my nigga. That's my nigga. Room. I grew up with him. Mr. Up raised me. You know what I'm saying. It's box and now oh I haven't seen woo oh Ship and your wife texts you together. Yeah, listen, listen, so you got a little but listen The bottom line of the story is this that don't say the relationship. It couldn't because embled people on the other side from Browns.

The MLP was the thing from the hill. Everybody else right, Rich it was Brooklyn listen on a little till sun, Brooklyn, because you have a Brooklyn Nick. So you just one of the worst things you ever did was that, you know what that was? You said that. Why do you feel like it was one of the worst things you did because you felt like you're gonna let it go. I don't think it was. It was. I think we should as as as for me, like I look at my little homies and I'm like, all right, I'm gonna

ride with my little homies. You know what I'm saying. And you can give done with so much information. I'm sorry to accident deep at that. What did your little homies tell? What did they say? It's there, it's there, This is their project, this is their thing. I can't felt like big heard their ship and bid it. I mean, I mean I would just say this. They expressed some dissatisfaction with that this is being their first time out.

You know, this is their thing. They want to come out and want to you know, they want to make a little splash, So if they hear somebody performing the song that they know they just finished creating in the studio, you know obviously didn't want to be a little bit uncomfortable about that, because that's exactly how I heard. I'm just saying as an industry perposon, I don't know if these guys heard the song there, but you already know Dand was a hub man. Everybody was anybody on. Everybody

was in different sessions, different people's sessions. How I heard it was somebody said Big walked into one of your sessions. They heard it. He heard the record, and then all of a sudden he had Easy LP, who was also my producer, and pull it up. And I almost want to say I asked Easy Lp that he said, it's exactly how because he was he was almost it was. It was that almost to a point where this was dug in under the controls booths. So that's how it

was going down like that. But it didn't escalate to that because at that moment it was like, ye let me talk to it, let me talk to So did y'all actually work out the beat before he died? I think I like to think that. Yeah, I like that, that last little phone call. Yeah, because if it's times that, like I said, I'm from the stock, so I would be right there on the block and New York from the stop right. So it was when Big was out of town and men season on with me right there,

Big cooler like yo, Tack. It was like your work, like I'm meeting the families of all of them, and Will were not like yeah, like I know what, I know what what could happen, What's gonna happen? But I'm you know what I mean. So it's still there with our relationship as far as me and Big relationship is cool, and me and my family relationship is still cool. But like I said, it was, it was it felt like it fucked up Brooklyn because it was Brooklyn niggas going

against other Brooklyn niggas. It was stop and it was there's always a beat between the veil and the stop. Yeah, that's why you got the Mike Tyson tattoo. You wanted to tell like together now, this is just this is just my warriors ship. This is is my warriorship. Like you ever seen Preda to him once, that's not Tyson brother ship. I was not. You have to say, like it's Tyson esque. But now is this sort of like maybe like a you know, like you said, we're gonna

the game. Never said to Tyson like I used to bump into Mike, like when I was a real, real little nigga where he was shut down the stores on Belmont going and everybody get a v goose bomb or leather. Yeah. Yeah, that was the only time I was bump into Tyson and he'd be like, yeah, yeah, a little nigga is like he was he was because I always now always was told I had the Tyson voice. That's what That's where I never e to just used to be because I used to. That's why I was security. I'm sorry,

I'm sorry, but what was it? What was we talking about? The actual first time I bumped into Tyson was when I used to train and Um and Martha's golfy boxing gym. Tyson and Riddick Bowl used to come through there. We had the champion, Mark Brelan Um Sweetie used to come through there and I met Tyson and this is way, this is right before, right during the time he was training in the cat skills. So let me ask thank you so much relax, relaxing. You take one of these

much that's very like it's your birthday, right shot. Ever, we still have a book you got make life right here in New Life, and he's still gone. Gentlemen, cheers, cheers to life to the us. Yeah, I feel like correct, you need to talk. Let the talk you about set for one second. Hold up, we spoke about big you gotta talk about to put an y you talk about sucking Mike away speak. He keeps saying, yeah you you No, I can't tell you, please guy, all my side safe teemsto which one I'm saying that

like I'm just watching shuk things that came close. Okay yo yo yo know me. Well, let me ask a questions. I'm just saying going, just going I was because you're gonna do it here. It's okay, I'm gonna get him. Hey, ever you did that show once, I'll howl tonight that's hot on. I'm okay. You gotta didn't ask the question what you gotta How did you gotta do? When what he was on the hot wind wings? Yeah, and after

every wing they were taking shots too quick. See um. Now, the thing about it was the thing about it was I watched hot Hot ones for two years straight, so I knew exactly what it was gonna do when it was gonna do it. So I tried to bring tager bone to offset it, but I was wrong about that only made it work. And the highest high Scoville was like you you know, when we was in Miami, I told him I putting norry onto the tagle box. Yeah. He did tell me that it's at that's not a lot.

Put me on that's at story and I mean jus for life. We was going to Judien's for life, and you know he was coming through your right and listen, I know where you're going. You're right. But the problem was I was from Hunt Madison. That's what I'm saying. No, No, that like the problem. That's just like you too, my d the twenty four in Madison. But I stually drinking tyg of mom around the corner for a hundred twenty. You're talking about around around the corner side I already drinking.

But you're right. You did tell me you did. You're right, you did tell me. You know you funk with this, But I had a ready he was used to it. But I never I never said I've been funking with something different times. Because you want, man, this credit, yea, get it to mend. Yeah, yeah, my explanations remember that it was. It was just bring back yard. He had the Newport piece on it. Yeah, what the yeah? And you was about trade and change its drink this ship. Man,

he's not lying. It's not lying now at one point it's a lie. He's not like night. But now let's go back. Let's go back to Sean Price White nonsense. Wait wait, wait a minute, we're gonna go serious right now. We're going serious right now, So Sean other than smoking cigarettes, we don't know why it's Sean. Come on, I'm sorry, he says, but I don't know why Sean are going

to either. But there's nobody here answer this question. We'll tell you that Sean sfort wait um sleep apnea and I want to sleep at sleep apnea is when you snore and your heart stop stop. Yeah, while you're sleep sleeping. I who want to splause? I think all of us have sleep his life, I've had it and I never I mean maybe not everybody, but a lot of talking about it. You know, I talked about it back. I talked about it because like it was one day. I

was just talking the punch and the punches. That's was notcleptic. That's not coleptic, which is different. That's what I mean. The too think that I believe I have. I can say it because you it's when your heart stops beating for thirties time. Yeah, it can't kill you. There's three stages. So what you don't know I'm talking about saying it talks into the brain that's set me basically, yeah, tells me to relax. There's two shows. You got Watermaz White.

Let's know, I came from tin backwards her talk that since five four. I'm that's okay what you do and you're with me absolutely that I feel like they say it what toning like that right there? I'm gonna say this, man, when when Sean passed, I know, he was the first person to call that I talked to, like right after you write, like immediately, I was so hurt. She's one of the first ones. And I was so hurt. And let me tell you something about let me tell you

something about Sean Price. I get cut the time I met Sean Price. I no, he was. I definitely did. But then he gave me a certain amount of love and he just he had hit me and he was like nigging like you're funny, you would he would swim. I was relationship slim Lloyd. He called all the motherfucker's

slim Lloyd has a whole new meaning. And I will explain that after the album driving So he hit me and I was just like, damn, and I love this nigga so much, but I wanted to spread it to the industry because I knew that he would suffering the same thing that I was suffering. During the CNN as far creation you mean, I just felt like like listen, listen, and he's right here. I'm glad. I'm glad he's right here. I remember sample something called don't let It come to

Your head brand brand new. I had sampled it on the War We've called album. That poem came to the studio and set, that's hard. It's like I'm laying verse right now. Trash came to studio and said that's whack. Poem said, it's right, it's why. Yeah. I could be no, but he was right. Trash was right. Was soon No,

he was right there. It didn't fit with the war because ba his word, his wording was wrong, right, and said look when he expressed it, he could have said it don't fit what you're not doing at the moment, right, but he didn't. He just said it was whack. And then when poem came, poem said whatever, Trash sets and it was like alright, cool, alright, cool, that's to what would lead me to I gotta go. So once he go to jail, I knew he was ready to. I knew he was look for the record. Look, look we

want to go back. I want to stay in front of we're talking. No, I'm not no, no, we are Look at one time, look at one time system, At one time I heard stop talking to about at one time I heard trag world chap verse for uh right to one he spent in your down money. Try let me tell you something that's got knock, shut up, start off, let me tell you. Let me tell you that was hold on. We can't. Were not talking about tragedy because hold no cool with him. No nobody an about about damn.

You don't keep it a dah. Hold hold on, hold one thing about Norway that people always got died there like somebody wrote this same time. They might have done about you. Just never I can it's not right for that. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, staying got that I don't know. But listen, I can't. I can't even father to write some ship that he writes like I can't. I can't even begin to think about you know what I'm saying. That ship is not gonna happen.

So I'm never gonna think that I ever wrote trag ever wrote or he wrote some ship from me. He can't rap like me. I can't rap like him. That's what makes us special. Like it's certain groups like I'm not taking nothing away from kiss and and the locks and and just the chemistry him and styles put. But you can put a book down sometimes and say I don't know what funk? Who wrote it, it sounds the same, like it's no differential. But that don't take nothing away

from the styles and Jada. But with men this nigga, come on, that's not gonna happen like for I'm never gonna think that. Gonna think that, but it's not that, it's not that's the talk. Let me just let me. Let me say, I'm gonna get ship. That's how that rooman started. When this album came up, the war reports, I had no idea what publishing. So when I signed for five thousand dollars, both signed five flax, not you, I got you little got going sing everyway everywher, four week,

every Browns. Before a week I was going to separate the back, Azy called me magazine dollars do you have? That's being in the group. You're gonna do you ever get you that for you to be like, I can't say ship, just talk every day every day scared here listen, that's here's what happened, And here's what happened. Me and this thing. This nigger had a deal already when before reported I'm not I'm in jail still he me and him at each other in jail, right, So when I

came home. He said, fuck it, let's do it together. We did it together. Like, what are you doing? That's going on? Old me? So what happened is this? I had nothing, I had nothing to go. I don't know what I like. But tragic stole off. He didn't tell us that's what. But already knew trash. Hood say trash. Wait, Gloria, say trash before. Listen trash every time we got t hollars for events. I'm learning. Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait

whoa wait? Did you know trag before? Of course you know life. Okay, let me let me tell you something. The reason why we even got in a situation was because of me. I was a norf. I was getting money. My man wonderful, was trying to wrap. He sucked. I'm gonna nick this in the boat. He sucked. He was one of them, fuck you bitch ass niggers. Motherfucker. I changed the mother your motherfucking serio. He was wond he was dope. He thought he was dope, but he had

that guapo Lena. I was hustling with him. He said, yo, poem, I'm going to the studio. I said, word but mine new leaders in Troy, New yok. So he gets to the studio, so rest in peace, jam Mr Jay, then Joe Felony, everybody you know listen to New York. This is listen. This is the same studio with jam Mster Jake got killed that. So jam Mr Ja like, um, trash like, oh my man wonderful like yo, my man said, jam Master Jay like Yo, trash like, Yo, my man

wonderful like yo. I funk with capone So trash like, oh I know caymn he for the hoody buzz is gun whateverever. So my man wonderful like yeah, yeah here on top of me. So he put me in trash on the phone. I'm gonna lift the center, but real quick, trash close me, Yo, what do you do? I'm up norf I'm getting money? Who come down? I said, I fuck it, I can't do it. Maybe can whatever? I call them crackhead. Crackhead brings me down. I get to

the studio. We all freestyled me. Jail fellone, trash jail Ja, jail Mster Jay doing the cuts. He's doing the cuts in the move. So I'm trash like I don't even know your round. I'm like, I didn't knock around like put enough for you to see, Like I don't know. So hey, sorry, short trash, Like, yo, I want to funk with you. I'm like, I bet he, like, you gotta stop selling drugs. That's not gonna happen. You give me something, well, I can have someelling drugs and that's

gonna happen. So a few weeks, a few months after that, this nigger comes home trash and something drugs. I said, that's what you get me something? Who I can stop some of the drugs, so then you don't bring nothing to the table then, and and all that process. I'm skipped a whole way. I'm gonna skip to man him because you know, I meant Faith Newman. You know signed Eves who signed the food. Jeez, we're living with her. She got the house in Midtown with the pool and

the basement and all we'd be doing it up. So now he comes home now, Faith, like I got you to deal with with with Columbia, just chill is me and um and uh my man big l Man big l at the same time we roll dog in. So I'm like, alright, Ben, She's like, I'm gonna get you a big Al tight so man, Big Hel like yeah, we god big so. So now we're like, yeah we get nigga. So me and big Al like we roll and we rolled dogs. We're like, yo, nigga, we we got a faith Norman got us and we're fucking with

butt naked tin dog. This is not to the town to come on this butt naked tend to funk with Joe to see and last boys ain't got them. That what they said, y'all suiting them, you know what I mean. So now they're like, oh, ship, they like my ship, right, So I do a song called get the Cream, so it's get the Cream. It's only right. So now they're like, we got ahead, my dumbass. I let Elias Harry that funk with nice from my projects. He gives it d

Hazy Hazy makes shoot ship. I'm like, because I want to shoot at the time, still thing like he's not a rapper, he's a shooter. So now we're going to studio. So now we're going to the studio. So we're like, we're gonna come up with another record. Like so I'm like a fucking whatever, make a long story short. This navy comes home. So now I'm telling trash like, you're fucking my man is home. But mind you, we're out on the lamp ship. We're just in the studio. He

comes to my session. We're in my session, and I'm he's like, yo, you know, I get busy, right, I'm like what He's like, I let it. Let's go rocket there. That's my brother. That's what we let me go around. Were never around together, but I skipped the point. I took the same together. I took him shopping for the man time to n't figure ship. Definitely don't remember that part.

You know, you gotta stand up. That's when niggas got droned and niggas got thrown in the pool when you was he shodow when he came through the house that you was in together. Yeah yeah, yeah. So I'm look, look, look I'm going back. So now, so we're in the studio, so now I'm like, fucking, let's do so together. This was our first song, Pandama Canal My team puts keystro Padama pussing out, Pistol Simp Chris Stas. That's why Jaden Jade with Jade s has that record. I don't even

know how you got that. I don't even know. Jada stepped us like my team puss keys through them. I'm like that America, we're gonna skip, We're gonna skip over. So now trays like yo yah. Nickas is like like like brought and toast your night and day. So we're like we're gonna do it together. And then from there we signed our Solder the Devil. You did trash and then we didn't stretch. Stretch, I'm strong made us. L A l A don't want to use it. She stretch.

We're doing ourselves. He went to his father and got twenty thousand dollars, shot the video and put the record out of itself and you know what, his father. But that's what made us and traged. We got to deal and tried to go off for the party. You say that, say that L l A came out. Cash was mad at me. I was on hot at the time. It was like, yo, you know what I'm saying. Yo, the Knicks had to pay you on to the table or something. I'm like, no, this is a good record. Yeah, this

was a good record. And that's one thing I will say, like, because he was playing it, they thought, yeah, because I was playing a lot. I think the first time I got I played it twice on the show New York was being played. But yeah, I took I took New York, New York off. And that's what I'm playing in L A l A because I'm New York and you know one thing about me, like I represent I represent New York. You know, I don't have nothing against nobody, but you didn't.

It was at the time, West coast. It was quietly. It was East coast, West coast people. It was just you know, it wasn't really just enough when we didn't Yeah, we can't tell or didn't know, so we just see that. Remember that. Absolutely, That's that's what it was. That's the only reason why Prodigy took its first off. Yeah, if you don't, I'm not dissing nobody. When you said, n y C you want to birth Supremecy so seen to be mega, I got word back from Noria I left

that I got. That's why didn't he take it? Verst that's the person nice playing I got. Let me know why I didn't take it verse off. Yeah, let me trying wait wait for a second, you go now, let me talking about Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're all chance. So what happened? All we got what are you drinking? So you happen was after every verse that we spc he was the only verse that actually felt like it went at l A. Now I was the only verse that actually went to l A. It didn't feel like

it was. It was it was mixed down to set the party. You l a story. We dinna take it, no guy. So last we said, we don't know. If they don't tell me, that's just respawn and let's just see what happens. You just keep them doing. This is before the buildings done that. The builders came after we drove the record. Hey man, they keep They kicked the builders over to be man's actually skipping over two weeks,

skipping over two weeks. It was different. What happened was they did they too actually were lying hold hold on, hold on wait wait wait wat laying wait wait wait a minute, wait wait wait wait a minute, wait wait wait wait wait he said Smith and wasn't is on a New Center CNN album. Absolutely, here's what happened. When I say me lying, I mean this not lying though,

no were lying lying. There was a something called the DJ list Biggs back in the days used to be on a DJ list and your album will come out two months in advance, absolutely, and depending on what DJ you fucked with, you would send the DJ this album too months prior to it coming out. The Door Pound dropped the album two months prior. I had a dude us from my hood. His name is Chas. I will never forget him. I love you, Chad Sex with don't

got glass. He just wis, but you don't the Chass and Chazz came but to me and said yo, and he had a Panasonic radio. It was forty dollar supple time. That was the black ship. You put on the game and Chass in front of section to right right coach streeper stop one left for city ship. Because I'm a left right nigger to die che come on, so hold on, let me finish to Chats put the ship in the front of the joint and said Chat said your nas, But Chat was the dust had all right? It was

this one. Why why do you think I'm trying to be funny? Chass from Section too for this one? Nigger? So Chass, you talk to me, just wait, wait, wait wait. I had to do it, bro. It was didn't belong some I need one of those in my career. So as you talk the jazz jazz, I'm listening to ya. Listen, I'm listening to Jass to say to me, Chad is written to me. God damn it. Whoever these people are, they gotta go. So now this time Chadd says, Yo,

did you hear the new dog Pound? Right? Chasses never took spoke to me about music before in his life. He always talked to me about other ships. He talked to me about sea saws. You know, I should take mescaline friends, I should take ship like that. Yo, I'm looking. I got you stay over my phone, so got you for from Japan. So I did that. I did. I started the brother, I said when Chads came back, because Chad was crazy the Chads one street and they came back.

He said, I think them niggas is killing us. It's for the video or nothing. That that's the record. So I was like ship, but now mind you stretch all strong text, all of us. It's not a text and it is a two way correct, so we all mind you. Just I had just did what about I don't want I don't want them. I don't want to claim it. So whatever I did the Queensbridge, I didn't want to go back to Queensbridge, so I went back because they told me to come, so I went back. Then we

went to stretch off stronger. So we're stilling boy throwing stretched man. So we're staying there for two hours. We went through that. We don't know what to do, so I said, you pull up the dog pound now, and they say why and I say because mondayga chash from section to the Panama building and I just Saidama, Panama had played me. He played me this record, and I distinguished it was just this or not. But when we inherited, everybody relax, who's that rob relaxed? So they said to me,

are you sure it's at this? And we couldn't. I couldn't distinguish. It wasn't this coupone did this thing? Was this prodigy canting? Was this happy? This was this tragedy. It's five of us, right? Only you heard said that one hand? What's proud of you? What's prod of you? He said? Jfk on soon as soon the niggas kicked over the buildings and he told them was taking hold on shot in Brooklyn y'all shot a shot, shot up

you bad guy. Your niggas left queens, the niggas from Brooklyn was like, bad guy, hold on, I'm I'm gonna pass it off to you. You know. So when when when Prodig said or anybody says, we sent them niggas versus and we didn't want to deal do business with them and anybody person they're lives. Because no, it's true. I'm not saying that, my brother. I'm saying that yours my brothers here. But I'm putting this great better. But

but I got you. But come on, come on, he says, people said something that's said equipment to we sent them their versus. Hell, that is a lie. First off, we wanted to kill him when he took the pot verse off, but all of us so back because the only person pocket with this was him. This is all brother right here. We never we never did that. The whole ship was manipulated. What's your part? Like you? Because he definitely don't make sense, but I like, what what what are you telling about?

Was manipulated the whole track. Look, look, the whole track is manipulate. We didn't get what was supposed to happen at your reality. We got the original, no way. He explained that some versions out there we got I got, I got the one talking about this yo. I FaceTime Glory last week about it and he looked at the screen and turned around and I didn't hear from them again. But anyway, listening this one with the dog poumpy, which is the lit y'all remade the dog pump because clear

I got that. There is a Molly I second one. I'm not. I'm not talking about three versions of the beat. What we're talking about, no less bring it up versions one because came out on one because Prodigy was the only one took his verse all and guess what it was, pooto right, because he knows not it was. It was the only one that Park went that. If you think about it, Park never said he didn't want that sho he was when that shot back Google and you know

we don't close that door. You know when Google box said fuck bone or no yet never remember it doesn't exist, and then think about it. Even if he wanted to say us, he said, mom did and a mother niggas. I think your fist you could have been another niggas, But so what you say that's time. I'm gonna say this and I'm out. I'm not. I'm a chill right here. But yo, Vibe Magazine did that whole ship bro East West Coast. They created that. No, that would never never happened.

Let me tell you something, let me tell you something that was. That's that's what a Vibe magazine like. So ruin Ever though it was a get him and they killed. That was the fall of Vibe Magazine as a print because you gotta you gotta realize right when you that right now, that ship brought federal investigations. That ship brought indictments.

That ship brother cool whatever cure. That's Coachurabo. That dumb they go and died with that dumb YEA magazine never been to say he has a new he's gone pretty much. You're gonna got leave to that. He've been drinking, tagging bony time drew. It's a bunch of mount like mushrooms. If you have a good like a bunch of black man speak big drinking. Let him say right there, you know what I'm seeing? You are you shot? He cannot

make a chance. Seat with static, you better not she with statics, really static, hold on static you better not. She seat with him. The fun is going to when he none to hold on, hold up, hold up too, He was not hold up once ever really come back swimming. Were going back to dat chap right now listen, you'll see any holy fun boys. So girl, he's all the flying player to the brother that he really can do whatever. My brother now please rely right now. Please, That's what friends,

that's what happened. To come down, give me my brothers, my brothers, my brothers. He said, I'm yeah, I'm gonna have your person. Let me live, let me live, mother, my mother. Y'all were the last dudes that hung out with Park. Yes, tell us that like like the like recording as we're recording, brother, what do the microphone when you add your thousand microphone? Was my bast sham question, asked the boy to question. Yeah, I don't be a ducan and I am dunking the view right now. There

you go, my brother. You know, I wish we had stuff like this back when album Listen to me and listen to me, everybody. If you've ever been at collecting, pull, let you stop. It looks pretty much like this. Stop like that. I'm not dogs like without Cuban being with Cuban. Let him go, he's Cuban beat What rock you just say? Oh he's cute, yo show he was on my album. Brother Pea, you gotta have thank you if you don't trust in God trusting everything? No, guy, what the fun

I want your inspect

Let's go, Let's go, let's go, let's go. We're talking about Park right now, Park and y know it, let's do it some about the relationship with Park and y'all see foods because what I mean for me, I don't. For me, I don't, I'm not when it comes to y'all will see a lot of slap. When it comes to interviews. I mean, I don't know. You don't check because y'all will see a lot of slab. Check check. Let me just say this, y'all will see a lot of slack. At one point, I said, buck, everybody, many

police over what they're asking for? Yeah, call me, yes, two hours, bro, he said, call me in an hour. So y'all, yeah, hold on, you guys will see the lot of slap. Once pot what happened? Let me let me, let me describe the situation. Fox shooting on the East coast. Fox did it and the only people he claimed, what's you? Guys? He was like, swifts, my nigs. There must have been there, y'all done, but you know what happened? Explained that happened. That didn't know what happened was I don't know if

they caught. What we were just talking about in the midst of the rock is but the Let's Play magazine and everything will happen because when we first got like you got Smith and Weston, we was We was not discredited in Black Moon or Ill, but we Smith and Weston. We was all street niggas were on streeting like I'm coming from the style, like I bring my motor bike up to the this one we was just killing ben four Green niggas was this was this one I was. I was in in four Green with resting ju Ju

and niggas. This is I was trying. Yeah, I'm just saying I was a younger who got the glocks when we came on, it was it was for me. For me coming from the stock, I can't I live in a brown Stone. On my brown stone, my family has generations in the Brownston. So coming from the stole to the veil, going to the projects, you always gotta be gripped up. We're coming from We're coming from. I'm coming

from a tree line block. If I'm on a motorbike or a pedal bike, I'm coming up the hill to see my brother Big up the shot Town Chicago, coming to see mountain. We got killer better in this over here. We're coming and I'm coming. Were like, son, what's happening? So when I get to the villa, it's like a change of weather coming because I'm leaving the stop. I'm trying to get from my hood to experience something different. So when I leave the stot and get to the building,

it's like, oh, son, your man over it is. We got it's about to go crazy. We got everything. We got this building that it's only we got four builders and seth flow projects. You know what I'm saying. We got niggas in all the buildings. But when he come through as a best stock cat, they ain't ever seen

the best stock cat. He got love, he got, well he's coming doing the dirt bikes with no himing or she got gets your ripped off and everything he coming to like like that's your man, Like yeah, how you know saying we like from up there hill, we like from up the hill, you know. But so we're proud talking about up the hill, down the hill. That's the same. No, no, because MP is from the ville. So they're talking about

up the hill fill and downhill in the field. When I say down to him, I'm talking about cross Atlantic to the style like yeah you with fat school, we're talking about right now when y'all give us all that, but give us the park side. This the park side, Tupac. We that's what side. I'm like, tart side with a lot of people, A lot of people happened with a lot of people with a lot of people. Um they leave out in his tupoc. My animation is, um the

outlaws Like outlaws is from Jersey. It's from Jersey. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, well we say that all of them is from Jersey, and we write and if you and if you ever if you're a New York you've ever been in New or if you ever been a trending you ever stepping them dirty swamps, you already know what it is. So where we you know what I mean? Like, dudes get money out there and you know you got you got family members out there, So

I think they spawned the whole thing. And then you know, when Tech put that that real kite out two dudes, you know it was so real, Like I don't think motherfuckering understand what we talked about when you said that kite, When Pot got that letter from here, I think, because I think I think I'm the one that brought that kite up, like like like I'm the one that recognized like flip it, flip it trading yea dream chance logan.

But listen, like that kite was so real like and it was like not too many motherfucker's sent kites to pop and got responses back from Pock and for y'all to be one of the few people who had correspondence with independ like that ship. What I want to know is when he came out and he was on his like street like funck, bad Boy, funck, this nigga funk that nigga ship. You didn't give me a chance come

out there. Relax, Relax, Relax, Relax, relax, relax. When he came out, did he ever say y'all my brothers, y'all legs in nah so y'all. So when he when it was fun bad boy, he said bad boy and did a record with him at the same time, conversations whenever you're just you just ain't get between CNN right. This is what absolutely let me out of his face. At the same time when he said fuck New York. He actually had a record of Smith Voice. That's because it wasn't just a record that he was trying to do

with Smith and West New York. It was an album that was in projects that it was a one nation project. It was a one nation project. It wasn't just as it was bug. It was it was Greg nice wait wait right, wait wait wait, question all that your kids

wasn't got here. It was never screaming because we were We was in the crib at the height when it was supposed to be the East Coast West Coast battle like niggas would come up from death row and drop literally paper bag money on the tail and be like, yo, Sunset, meet him here, and meet him here, and meet him here. We get to the airport and probably be like, yo, we ain't all on the same plane. Ripped the tickets that get the funk out of here? Did he bop

right out of the airport? We ain't going. So it was never a time where he felt like he was bigger than us or he was more than us, where he would leave us behind because we would we would pull up into a gas station in l A and everybody be shrouding, and it ain't just be like yo, what the fun what's happen? Why pulling that nigga could be in a coma sleep just coming off the set of two movies. Shoot as the van stopped, he waking up.

You know what's happening? When we at where we at, like we're just coming to get gas and they could do a quick three extep bank bank bank, all right, yo, you know what, let's go. We can't stop here, But nobody understand why doesn'taken mentality is like that. But if you've been hit up five, six, seven, eight times and you automatically stopping it and they just saying, we just what I mean, we're getting gas? We don't get fucking yeah. We never stopped. Why we got Yeah, why all of

a sudden we started to get gas? Supposed to get gas before you got so the mentality be different. But it was never when we was with Pop. It was never a fun New York for big the East Coast. It was never. But it was never during the time. There was like there was before I hit them all. It was actually a record where it was like uh no, no, that's no, yeah, that's prior to that, and it was it was a record uh uh you it was you guys,

I think he was on it. Nah. Now it's like I couldn't have been a year with us because before before that we haven't even recorded with pop, right, but we only got it was red Man that record regular him. I got my mom made up made up. Yeah, we wasn't was it that was your record record? You know what the fucking crazy? What's the rumor is? I was on uh Hail Mary? That was me supposedly been doing the chorus on Hell Mary, No chill out. It would

have been that. That was the room we was here be because music is so broad and the room was make a lot of the music and a lot of the artists, Like I remember when we first dropped, not to say it was a bunch of funny different people. Nigg has been getting robbed in the industry, but we didn't know about it because we wasn't in the industry. But when we got on the street, yeah we was

robbing it. But when we got in the industry, I was able to go back, right when he was able to go back to the hood and tell niggas house other nig was and they was getting robbed, it was different. So when niggas was was was doing them type of records. He was like, no, that's not It wasn't understandable to to to the people outside, But we understood because we was the people that was making the records and bringing

it back. Can I at your question, when when the whole absolutely when when when the whole Asian Jack and all that ship was going on, did you ever get caught up in the mixing? And then then we never got caught up in none of that. We never none of that. That was like, that was like real for Brooklyn because that was real for we are Brooklyn niggers. Yeah, yeah, that's right. I'm not gonna say the names that was there, but we we those were niggas that was over us.

We came up. We came up and gang like Decepticons. Yeah, we came up, and I was we came up in niggas game popped in the stomach or popping niggas at fifty nine shoot train stations. See a nigger on the on the steps with a three fifty seven hole in the stomach even hard like a nigg can't breathe. And when a nigga said you your waves ain't better than mine, I got a touch of that in his mouth, just to prove to him. You know, I'm not a printing at all nigger Like my son was wrong. I wasn't

at the rapper. He was the rapper. Anything that he did, I was riding with him. That's what Sun. You can't touch him, you can't do nothing to him. He was also he was also like a stunt guy. What the fun is that? YO? Do? Ship that nobody? I looked like my body matrix was built. Different matrix, different ship like I would for me, I would hide at the rolling cars and me like called like little brother, Yeah we're in the tournal guard to Jersey. Oh you that guy?

All right? Not we I don't have about the car ros window shot like YO had a shot that times a movie to a not a video around shot. Look, let went through the PREJD. For me, I was how was the sea? That was a game? I was Look, look what our hero. Because we all grew up in the tunnel we were going. I would come through my wildness. I had some funny. Let me let me try make us, Let me let me just eNTRI Let me just tell you what run down for the tun of was just

coming from Brooklyn to go to the tunnel. Every Sunday night. First of all, if you didn't leave with a bitch to fuck Sunday night, so it was wrong with you. Yeah, all right, So from Brooklyn, this is what we been doing. Boom, wake up, hit the gym, workout, boom, get a swollen boom, boom the gym. We go to the barbershop. Line fresh crisp from the barbershop. We're shooting uptown. One. I would seeing when we would see Moga Brassie selling T shirts and they can even buy a solo vascos, some Tim's

or some Iceberg right into Iceberg, see my nigger. Yeah, what's up? So? Oh something? We got the new shoopy. Now I don't want to shop? Yeah, I don't want to Oh we got this boom? I right, match me up. We go, I get the outfit from one five. By the time we even getting nothing to chop up or do nothing. As long as we come out of the store from one police pulling the sofa, whoo whoop. As sure as we come out of one five police pulling us up. What y'all got? But we even got nothing.

We weve in cotton. We came to get close. We came to get close. When the dome bags of haze was like that. Yeah, so I'm buying ten dim bags of hayes this when I was smoking, buying ten dimon bags of haye. Then we go into the other store in the corner on one five by another outfit from there, take it back to Brooklyn, start to see ole game went bout fifteen Hunting Park on the corner of Myrtle Win Clinton And then now we're going on seven eight to nine, ten o'clock. Get a bottle of handing some

bottles and handing boom, boom boom. I think it's just coming out of the hood. Now you know what's up? What's up? You know what time of sunny is? Go to towne. Now we're rolling out four or five cards d to the tunnel. Then we get to the tunnel. As soon as we pull up board the Kabbo block, it's a line around the corner and it's like you know what, something pull up around this way. It used

to be a partner lot. We had to go up the hill into the talk about I was driving the SC four hunt to put the pearl white up in

their fat come back down. How many of you ways, it's only about fifteen, ten of us ten fifteen like yeah, ten fifteen of us the big game even Son, that dude you know my nigger with Son, that dude the dog training now the King Corsos or the big big dude of a father Alpha out there with the who you literally I'm likes ten of us, fifteen of us boom now my first best ship of the tunnel Alpha that I remember. I remember one day we was one night we was in the tunnel. Who the fund was performed?

I'm not saying on I want to say was performing job. But John Rood was walking on the ball a little that was on the floor on the fleet, you know how the ball was set up. John was walking on the ball with no shirt on. Like it's just like, who the fuck? But this is what this was tune And then we were looking at a Bailly were like, damn you run up to the bathroom being being fund man. Women got assaulted in the tunnel and it was different.

It was different, so little was ball. It was different and it would never be another spot like the tunnel. I don't even what city is in what it would never be another spot like the baby moms would beating that all I remember cast to get it popper before it comes just right now, your mom's had you let me take yourself. Don't at us at the tunnel. And

I'm gonna say this lib on air. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, but this was like the time Tom or the tunnel and I had just uh it was a sauce of Wards CALLI and this is the saucer Wards who everybody got robbed and it wasn't sure that if you ain't used to the niggas I was after that. That was when I first came out worser. Okay, when I first got bust around on the floor, I was out that way when the speaking right, so please, I saw it.

I saw exactly everything you guys said. And then moving on from there, when we moved on from there, I've never seen nothing on. All I saw was we were trying to add one. But that what those days. That that's pretty much it. Trying to try I was. I don't trying to I don't try to say. I was like, okay, I trying to do as a foot of fo
