Springtime tips and fun facts from Paul Kristen and Dexter at Total Wine and More. Garnishing your hand with pineapple parent with a delicious Chardonnay to make their taste bud swirl. Deviled eggs are even better when paired with a light, dry wine like a bubbly Prosecco or a Pinot Grizzy. For me, nothing beats recommending a great wine, and with such an extensive selection, I can help you find the perfect one in your budget, whether you're hosting or just bring.

The wine we love to share are always low prices and ridiculous selection this spring at Total Wine and More. Cheers. He's a legendary queen's rapper, hang segues your boy, and he's a Miami hip hop pioneer. What up is d J e f N? Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in music and sports. You know, I mean the most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts. This is Drinks Chat rad

to every Day is New Year's e Round. Hey DJ podcast pensively pluted that man and I heard heard it. He says, say, uh, the eminem is his favorite, and I respected that favorite. Right now, I have my two favorites. Favorite, I'll see who you're going in the building. First off, Steve LaBelle Phone Queen's pictures were run dmc rammer them on toll Jam mr J D m C, Lost Boys, Royal Flush t t VT. Steve Label been around. I heard Russell Simmons say he's the only white guy. Let

him call me a nigger and it's gangster. And you know what, Russell, I agree with you. Then we have my other guy, my brother Scott Blood is bo bo. He's been doing things before you you could be doing things and it's nothing. I've seen him with a seventeen million dollar boat. He picked me up and we win got chilies. That's the hardest ship in my life. Snicker had a what's that she called a captain, had a yachting and we went to Chili's. It was the flying ship I ever did in my life. This is my guy.

I seen him construct albums like the Chronic. You know, I have a piece to do with the Firm, numerous hits and she's going back to the roots, going back to the route. And he's a fantastic guy. Right now, I made you do some Steve LaBelle, Scott Starch my favorite of the favorite. Let's be to loot there now, Scott, you sucked a lot of bitches. Scott, I'm gonna keep it. Is that your girl? Then you're good? All right? So I'm a pop bottom champagne. Yeah, Scott, I ain't gonna friend.

I seen you at the height of the height. I seen you coming up too. Yeah. That's a beautiful thing. A lot of people don't know. And when I left the Roots as a keyboard players writer to become a producer. My first week and soliciting myself to be a producer, I got two clients. My very first two clients was you and campone and bust the Ryots. Let's make similar to that tune. No, but Scott, let me just tell

you something. I'll be looking at the internet and I see it on the internet when you be constructing these beats on these keyboards, and you'll be sitting there and it's like, I just want to keep it. Keep praising you. Don't thank you. Uh if that's a good word. Is that a good word? Praising you? I want to keep praising you because you deserve being praised. Look at that from that fact we don't spell champagne. Look at that you want you want to show you saying you don't

spell champagne from Secon two. Yeah, come on, Happy birthday, so, happy birthday. Happy birthday, Sonny, Happy birthday, Reverend run Yo. So let's take it back to the beginning, Scout. Well, you originated from Philadelphia, you know. I was born in New York Long Island, but I moved to Florida as an infant. And then when I was fifteen, I moved with my fallow my dad to a Philly and I was supposed to be going to school, but I wasn't.

I was cut in school and taking the train into the city and I met up with Quest Love and Black Thought and all these guys described that situation because you started out with the roots like this was n and yeah, man, I just I was, you know, the nigga d f Y. I was interning at this label rough House at the same time. Yeah, they had Cyprus Us the food years. Yeah, and it was like getting the chance to see actual music industry, you know, just

being nobody. And I got caught one day jamming on the piano in the life room of their studio, and I thought I was gonna get fired, and then I got called down the hall to play keyboards on the Killing Me Softly Remix and Hill That's just yeah, and you know it just gradually, you know, I got a record deal with the Roots and from playing on the streets with them, we used to set up borrow power from stores on South Street and jam. We was doing these like little jam sessions with leaders of the New

School and all kinds of crazy credits. What's the Boots like a street band? It was actually before there was the Roots and it was Square Roots. Yeah, and we had to change the name because it was some other band that had the same name. That was the whole band. Thing was new. But yeah, I was playing on the streets. Yeah, I was playing on the streets. And then we actually got discovered on at a block party on cecil be

More Avenue in the near Temple University that is Philadelphia. Yeah, Hill Adelf that's what you could get killed that right there. I was there to kill you right there. It teaches you to be strong, and I think some of that strength and perseverance I learned the Philly helped me, you know, get through have success in so now he started out from the route somewhere doesn't doesn't go right? You know it was right. Everything was right as a matter of fact.

When I left the wind up in LA, when I left the Roots, I actually just you know, I wanted to be more than a keyboard player. I wanted to be a producer. So I was, you know, grinding and listen at and I went to New York. I met you and actually the day that capone came home, that's a that's a fact. Very days mean it's like it's nothing, but that's none. That's a fact. And I remember it

was a good time. But and uh, you know, flashing forward, um, I went to l A and I ran into one of my homies from Philly, this girl Eve, and she was like, yo, I just got signed to doctor Dre and like that's how I got you foreverley grateful and in debt to Eve. Pick you up because adopt that changed my shed. But she stuck her neck out ya for real And the next day I was in the lab. I didn't have no we used that tapes at that time.

We didn't have to see I didn't happen that situation though, Like so now Eve tells you to come to l a. You know, I wasn't that doing a jams already? Yeah, I was doing a jam session at the Martini Lounge. Okay, you gotta jam session. We got dumb listeners, so was the jam all right? So the Roots, I was still hanging with them. They were still the homies, and they would do like these kind of like the you know, three jam meets like music, a lot of Erica bad

type ship going on and open mic. Huh open mic yeah, open mic. It was like a women in the music series called the Black Lily, and it was dope. But and uh, you know, it's a root space event. It was over. Yeah. We were doing them in New York at the Wetlands every Sunday, and we just decided, you know, to do one out here. So luckily I ran in the even and the next day I didn't have nothing to play drags, just sad at the piano, and boom there was like can you stay out here? I was

like hell yeah, wait, said how was that? Said Dre? Just I met Dre and I was like you not even the studio with Dre. I got nothing to play him. So I just get on the piano and I started jamming for him and he's you know, about an hour later, I had to like ten Racks hotel really Cuez and I was my rent with day. That was good to go. And now your glasses is ten Racks. The glass looked smith kind of glasses. Those are portions lit glass front

of glasses. You seated glasses and glasses. So all right, so you're in the studio, what Drake tells you to played the piano or to beat just to play piano because I had no beats with me. I didn't always gonna be seeing Dr Dre, So yeah, and then the very next day he had me work on this UM artist named slim Shady that we did the song just the two of us, and then the day after that we did Big Egos that's on the Chronic two thousands and so on and so on and then and then

life progressed to um. You know, I just got to a place where I didn't want to feel like I have to ask you know, Dre Dre created his empire. I wanted to create mine. So I went to a different city. I went to Miami, and you know, I like got into my own clients and it wasn't really the same type of stuff. I was working with Dre and um then I got introduced to clubs and cocaine and special I'm ready for I'm ready. I'm ready for cocaine. I'm gonna say it for like again, I'm ready for.

But because Scott is my brother, I'm not just throw this out there. I don't know if people know. I know Scott just said it earlier. But Scott is really my brother, and I really seen every way, shape form fashion he ever came, and he's always been my brother, and I'm always going to remain his brother. And ask me who I am? Steve LaBelle, God damn it, you froont Queen's too, Yes, sir, what are you fromming queens? From Jamaica queens? Yeah, look look at he's from Jamaica, queen. Listen,

the first white person you met from Jamaica queens. But that I'm gonna be honest. He blacking in both bars. You can put us moving together. He's still blacking in both bars. So the scribe your comings up in Jamaica. My coming up was the late great jam Master Jay Resting. He was he put you on and the way wait, so how does this happen? You know? I grew up with you know, J and Run DMC and Russell was my mentor. Basically, you know, I was just carrying bags,

doing shot. I was doing whatever. I mean, come on, um, come on. But at the end of the day, you know, it was like around eight three, eight forty five shot, I'm want to talk with another tour in eighty eight just on a PMP public ending. Those tours are like Jerzy, Jeff Fresh, Prince and I was around the Rush Management days and Deaf cham days and Profile Profile Records days. You know. Of course, you know, I didn't know what I could do, so I was just wait, look, yeah,

there you go. I was just around and just doing whatever need to do. I'm an opportunist, you know. I'm from Queens, so you know. But then I was like, you know, I tried old and I was doing all the stuff and around these labels. But I said, you know what, I opened up a couple of bars and at St. John's University, and I brought all the rappers there, Chris mull and Mark Jackson, onyx Jay for people that did St. John's. You didn't turn prect yeah St John's,

you know, the Redman St John's. And then Um, I got to car accident, so I sold everything and then I got a job. Oh j and Onyx wanted to uh start up. They wanted to find a white rapper like a Markee Mark, so we took it to a Relativity. So you told about Mark Warbar Market Martin Mark Mark, but Mary Marks's single, No but Good a Good Librations, Federal, Sticky Want. They wanted to find someone like that, so they used my ball to find you know, fraternity brothers.

So then we took the record to Sony Relativity and the next thing you know, I got a job of Relativity and I was like I never had a job for somebody else. And it was like ninety three beat Nuts, m O P Fat Joe eight m j G three to Mafia. Frankie Cutliss was there, UM and Easy Rest in Peace had ruthless records there. So I worked with all of them and I want to little Fat Joe and Big Poe was his hype man Rest in Bubbles.

I gotta stop you will fast. You said you was there when ice Cube and n w A had a fight. Easy ice Cube had to beef. If you watch straight out of Competence. I was at the tone of the legendary tunnel, the rest of this big cap. Yeah, we went Easy came in town with so that's not a movie. Yeah, it's a movie. There's nobody straight out of Compton. Easy and Ice Cub running to each other. And I thought that was in the role I was in New York City was but it was showed beef. But you know,

that's when he ran to each other. Had a problem. But you know, I was really Easy, so whatever was gonna happen is gonna happen. But and then Easy said he wanted to go back to the hotel and he had to plant along. He walked back to the hotel and am I still getting the limit was freezing? He said, now I'm a walk because you know. And then the next thing, I've never seen him again. He got called age. They said he died but um and then from there,

you know, he introduced me to bone thugs. I've been with both dogs on for like, I don't know, I don't smoke. It's twenty three years, you know. So we did the bone and bigger though, but someone told me today, twenty years ago today, we didn't on torrious stuffs. So you know, I throw I throw throwbacks of that up and then we did Riding Durty a MILLIONAI and Thug level Tupac a whole bunch of collaps on twenty three years.

Tupac and I managed the outlows, stooped the outloads, and then UM eight one and M J G and three six monthful like I said, just a whole long list, like I said, Me and Fat your brothers introduced him to his wife and he's gonna roll. Joe, Yeah, all right, he's got my mascot work with Big I know. I just did a remake. That remake the work. What was the remake? That was the remake? Scott Got too Much eight hundred six, Tupac I of deponing of blues joint.

M So, Scott, you've worked with Little Wayne. I'm gonna

I'm gonna be honest with you, Scott. One time I came to the hip factory to see you, and it was a cheese line outside like it was just mad art, but it was artist though it wasn't like a cheese line because the cheese line in the hood, it's like it's like the worst of the worst for you that's sitting there waiting for the cheese line, but you had like d m X Glory, Fat Joe, Little Wayne, Mean Timberland, like after my outside of the hip factory, just waiting

to see you. It's a lot of work. We used to keep five six rules going it one time at one time at one Now, is that when Molly came in, Lolly? Because I heard m D M A. That was very nice? Yeah it was. It came in actually from Amsterdam. But it's plain to you just before before, you know, when people were just having ecstasy. You know, in the food chain, people introduce you to everything. But yeah, well you know the real ship was coming out here? Is that really

wasn't my thing. I used to keep a lot of that, but it was for the ladies. It was, it was my thing. I liked it, Thank you for thank you for introducing I liked it, Scott, and I liked it too. Right, it's correct. Don't don't give me the eyes because you're white. Ye, like the effected had on women because you was doing like dabs right, it was like just like dipping dipping dad, remember that I do. We just took it to a whole other level. That's so bad. It's fantastic. We just

gotta control it. We got the listen, listen, listen. I'm just throwing this out there. I don't believe anybody has a drug problem. This is what I believe. I just believe you gotta take care of it. Take care of your drug problem at a certain time, and then that's what I believe, and then get so over for two days and then get back this nothings dru This is what I believe. I'm just saying this is my belief because like I might be retarded. I'm sorry, I probably is.

Scott already know that, Steve already know that. But I believe, Um, the M d M A you have is very fantastic Veranta. So Steve, you've been on the road with one DMC. You've been in a role bone Thog, some harmony. What's your wireless road story? A crazy story in North Carolina and we got into a little problem in the club and run DMC. You know years this ship man, I got hit in the head and the Kanye birthday party at the Louis Vatan store. Don't know if you knew

that thirty years his thirtieth birthday. So it was on seven Chell fell on my head was out thirty years ago. You know, he was thirty years old. People. People don't know this, but I was. I was at kanye thirty birthday and on seven Ston Store. So Chell fell in my head. So I sued Louis Vatan. But my memories in and out. But we're in the club in North Carolina, and there was a problem. We couldn't leave the club because the van was parked. We're in the van at

that time in the garage of the promoter. So I stood on this table and m no. I just stood on the table with the concert in North Carolina, like it was like a local club. And I thought I was a kid in the karate kid because I'm like, we're gonna get out of here. Show me and my man would Stoff was running running them. See at the time, we still on top of the table like and made that like some king the club, the last dragon, that little was nothing. They all just thought we have some

fucking martial all expert today. Just we got off the club, got in the van, got the funk out of JA said I was crazy, but who knows, God damn, but this make this makes no steel about Guy Scott. You know, I'm sorry. I gotta go here, yo, youth like you got like you had like Paris Hilton. Oh my god, I heard this Paris in the first first four weeks this conversations. Want to say to my girl, Flower, Yeah you know, nor does you too? Okay, now I can

say anything. So now what's Paris Hill to the first person to introduced you ain't talking about that, say l A. We'll just say l A introduced me to criminal. All right, at the end of the day, ain't nobody hold that ship to my nose, but hand you gotta have of that best niggers in the world. Like that's like that's hard Lesion marry ship that's letting dry. But I told you you don't like Olympics of drug use. Like I

love your baby one more times, my girl. But I literally used to would line up in my bedroom on the island like ten girls, and I introduced him what we called the um uh Miami frost bite. We never heard of. That's what we called the uh Miami frost bite. Yo, Yo, Scott, you're still look at rich as hell. Tell us about this Miami frost bite. What am I saying? Well, let's just say this. The only reason why I'm looking rich as hell. It's because there's no more Miami frost bites

you're going on because I still down. But you know, my man told me that this show you pretty much can just go to the depths of about and you know what, if you can't joke about the ship that you've been through, fuck it, like you know you can't. I know what the funk I was doing was completely wrong and this was really wrong, but I basically used

to um, I learned. I'm just gonna say this, I learned the California frost bite or the Miami frost but I think you've had every state frost I'll just say this. One of the biggest singers I'm not gonna say her name ever in the history of music was on the back of a two hundred and fifty ft y'allt put me in a bunch of people, and I was doing cocaine. I was of the normal way obviously, where you snorted, and this artist said, I want to do it, but I don't do it the way you guys do. They want.

They know they liked it, put up their coolo oh ship King. I got a guess. St. Bart's frost bite Christie. No, no, not give me that. But I'm talking about Big Star Houston because of that level, of that level. But don't evening I took that in a nation that I learned that thing in the same parts and I would basically, I guess, recruit like ten girls at the time and line them up and you frost proably went down. No, you was living some scar face ships. I certainly was front.

You picked me up one time. I was living on Northeast eighteen Street and you was living on Palm Palm Star. When you guys can't pick me up. And I came downstairs and you know, I'm fat at the time, and the like can't jump over the gate. I'm like, it's not big boy, I'm like that. So you can't just jump over the gate. And you're a big nigger. You got it's like one step and you gotta be like, hold on, you gotta suggest your nuts and you get your right. And I jumped up and these niggas had

the captain and then they went to Chile's. It was the most melli and then they got ship. I haven't seen in my life these niggas bitches, but naked, I'm just getting divorced for my first marriage. I'm like, I gotta look up my life and say, I don't really know. I hope I got to do it. Yes, and Scott and Raoul was big and they had the I don't I don't even know how many million dollar boat yeship had. But it was so beautiful and that was the first time I ever experienced that, And it might be the

only time I've been on private jets a lot. But did you see the Miami Frost. I actually don't know what what is the Miami Frost? Like just some of the people that said I kind of dirty, all right, say it again, but still makes sense what it is? I guess essentially. Honestly, Rouil used to say the Miami Frost Bight was with blow and that the California Frost but was with Molly. They crushed Molly. I'm assuming not the crush the thing that goes in the kind of Steve,

what kind of us about you? Ask? Man? You just say something before we passed the guy like, look, all that ship was crazy, but you know what, um, I'm gonna have an addicted person alitum all that drug ship. I had to put that ship aside and now I'm addicted to the music again. You've always been heavily addicted into marijuana. I love it and that never gets me in trouble. Makes a noise for that con joke about all that ship and I live, got a joke about it.

I should have a trophy for the big You don't joke about it. You know what. Some of the scumbad's gonna joke about it. The caravan. No, no, no, we care because we make him up. But we joke about it with you because this guy. We don't know this guy and he talked about Scott. We're gonna have to have one of them. But like the people that whatever reason, there are people walking the streets thinking that a little you know, not like I usually live. I'm still living. No, Scott,

we because we know you rich. You've always been living good. And let me just tell you something, Scott, just in case you don't know, the hip hop hip hop community support you. We always supported you. We're always going to have your back, just in case you didn't know that. You know what I'm saying, because the way you just said that, I just want to just say that and you went through and you know it ain't not a man up to know for real, though we know that's

part of it. I didn't think I wouldn't have been able to rebuild my riches and my success in my career and everything if I hadn't admitted that. I actually felt if you just now, most people are just in denial and they'll just sit in the corner and they're too scared to come out and rebuild themselves because they don't want to have to admit they did fault. But that's like, yeah, at this show, at this show, we have, at this show, we have fun. Scott. Scott starts to

eat ass. That's a fact, right, Let's get it's a factor. It's front Steve, Steve about you. Yes, now I've seen the world man, so just imagine everything against I just like, I just feel like your your preferences asian ass. I just feel like I ain't going I just look at you and say, I've been involved with a lot of tresses with term squad. I can't, I can't, I can't. I can't talk about that part either. You got me

on that one. I'll changing subject because something you know, because I might go down with this somewhere with Steven about tres I might pop off in this. Yeah, all the time. Let's go first, terrible. So now you worked with Tupac. I worked with Tupac Scroop the Outlaws, and you worked with Big. I've seen pictures with you, Tupac and Big. It's correct. You know. I did the Bone and Biggie with Bone Thugs and then um, you know pop we did Doug Love and like I said that

managed the Outlaws. I worked with everybody you could imagine, and um, we discovered Nipsey Hustle. Me my partner Big, you Shaun Kingston following, Yeah, you better check in with Big. You know that's my guy. Um, you know, uh, I s man Shaun Kingston. Uh, I've seen the world with Shaun Kingston. A lot of people, you know, don't understand that pop music get you around the world Kingston and move on. Yeah, right now. Shaun Kingston is a very controversial. Yeah,

but me and Big you manage Shaun Kingston. Now got big. There's no controversy, not not. I worked with Shaun Kingston for seven years. But he gets caught up in a lot of jams. But but Steve, Yeah, this incident is just happened. Did you have anything to do with sun. So now, yeah, Shaun was reckless, but that the reason why Meek or whatever they say told you know, I come from kill shoutout, pistol pick. None of them is drinks, don't drink chan, we don't, I don't snitch, I don't

talk whatever it was, you know, big up all sides. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because but anyway you don't need that. And then I'm blessed me. I'm working with my man Scott, starting on him for a long Scot and not managing Scott, and we're going in you know, fantastic guy Scott story. Now Scott, I remember fact yo, well not only I remember he said it on our podcasts about four or five times. He said, if I would have new every time me and Scott go on the studio, we're gonna make a

number one w never let Scott leave me at all? Ever, didn't do you agree with him every time? Every time? It's crazy, it's miraculous, man, big up to Joe with all the way up right now, that's it's cool and dre and like man for real, cool to dre. Make that bea though, no no, no cool to dream. You know, school school people have been telling me. But I assume that whatever reason, God bless because fat Joe deserves that. Man. He's a hell of a dude. Did your boy? And

Describe you leaving Dr Dre right, and there's so many stories of these people that work with Dr Dre. Dre don't pay them well whatever, come on, let me finish or whatever, whatever, whatever excuse they use, and they leave

Dr Dre and then they never ever ever make it. Listen, everybody can play like one of the only I know a lot of people that have a lot of money and a lot of success just from knowing him. All right, Dr Dre gave me everything I ever deserved from everything I've ever done with him, down to the percentage, Like I think, for real, for real, Dr Dre provides opportunity

for people. But you know, It's like if people don't succeed, and you can't expect that man to just keep people in his doors in the studio if they ain't doing ship like you know, and everything has its reason and every business has its things where other business takes precedence over that person. So they may be salty if they had to wait in line, but they weren't that high on the totem Poland. And you know, my whole relationship with Dre is amazing. Right now. We actually got in

the studio a little bit. We're about to go in and do a bunch of stuff. Um, and I heard you are working on the cart up five? Is this correct? I was blessed man the other day. I was down in Miami and I got in with Wayne and I heard you then avatar mall we had to drop on you. I'm like, he's thinking that happen to call me friend? I worked every day I was down there, so I had to take her somewhere. Big up a white b. Yeah, so you're working on Carter five. I'm working on that.

I'm working on a bunch of stuff, man, a bunch of new talent. I got a record coming out with this kid, pnb Rocked from Philly and that's my guy, big U P and B. Brown. He's got his own Orlando yea, and working on a bunch of stuff. I'm working with Murder Beats on a bunch of stuff. Hopefully it makes it way to Drake and the cant and the only Canadian crew. But yeah, we're cooking. Um got a bunch of stuff. Chris Brown, Chris Brown. Yeah, because

you did Running Running right, you did Chris Brown's original record. Yeah, I was there, was it running? I was there. I was, I was downstairs. Y'all was upstairs and you played me he was. He was upstairs with Tina Davis. Am I correct Mark pit and my Pitts And I didn't see my pitts that day. I just seen you and Tina Davis. I came upstairs and I was downstairs. I was. I think I was trying to bust something. It's you know, I mean, it's back in the days. You know what

I'm saying, Let's go it out there. And and two years later, this kid is Chris fucking fucking Brown. Oh that far back? No, I'm talking about not, I mean back. Scott is in there, and you know Scott is my man. So I could come in scott studio and Scott he'll look at me and be like, you shouldn't really be here right now, but he'll still let me live. Come on. And then I went that back downstairs. And two years later the kid he was working on was Chris Brown.

I remember seeing that, and it feels like it was suited than two years. No, I'm not, I'm not. I'm not describing now saying you know what, I feel like we made the record and at least within a year. Yeah, it was a year, and it was in a year. Remember the day seven, the day I met Chris Brown. I've told this story a hundred times. I like telling this story's over there. Quite tell him the day I met Chris Brown, he was a little kid man. He came in and I told him. I said, Yo, you're

you're awesome person. Just stayed humble and stay just like you are man, And he did, um, And I'm gonna make you a number one song today. And the song whatever we make is gonna go to number one. And a year later it was number one. So a year later, I said, two years, one year later, we took him the number one. He never had a record out ever in his life. But he deserves that. I'm not gonna take all the credit for that. He's a talented young man.

And Chris still talented, and he still blesses me every time. He's one of the loyal ones. That's very few. That's Fat Joe as you, Chris Brown at Rick Ross, but Chris on my Darkest Day Rick Chris Brown always make sure he puts the Scott Storts record on his album with Rick Ross as well. Now, how about kyla Um? Did you work with college Steve CALLI? Yeah, man, I don't know, call it a long long time. Him and d J Nasty. You know, me and Joe used to go to Lando and always used to run into them.

I just seen yeah from New Only exactly just yeah, and you know we go way back, like someone just found some crazy throwback and meet him and Tretch and I suit from the Outlaws like from ninety five. But you know, you know, cal knew how to master the game and stay relevant and use his personality and God bless him man, and God bless his new baby son. And I try to tell people in this game that nothing happens overnight, you know what I mean? So it

takes decades to you know, be successful. When you need a lot of patients, you gotta sacrifice a lot and persistent. You know, all of us at this table got resumes and stripes and for the new generation out there, like you got with You're working. Ship does not happen overnight. But with Scott, we got that game record out with Jeremiah all Eyes number four and the rhythmic charts and um, we've got Shaggy record out and we're doing some just

different ships that Scott never did. We just Shaggy grabbed my head counter guy. I was like, man, don't being managing that. But you know Scott's Scott's going around the world playing the keys with the DJ, doing some innovative ship. We're doing a lot of brand um collapse and TV ship, movie ship and just working with every like new artists from you know, bebe Barelly on Deaf Jam to b Rocks to every everything given, give Nipsey some ship, French

want to everybody. You know. You know, Scott's town never left. Just because someone goes through trials and trip relations that I go through trials and trip relations every day, every day, and these things doubt me every day. You know what I tell them like it's every day. What was what

was the situation with with Steve Gottlie? And and like the publishing TVT I've always heard that in the beginning, what's what's the facts on that story on the which story on the people that that Steve Gottlie had a percentage of your publishing? No, I just had a he had a polaching deal with had a publishing deal. I got my first million dollar check with him, but I didn't. This is a real story that you know teaches you

about persistence. But you know, back in the day my first publishing deal, I got a million dollar deal with TVT Records, I got ad got fired, I got I got a hundred thousand out of that respect for real? What was the who was saying? I got robbed by people like between Lord this and that and then ship that was like corrupt that you know, and it was a million up front and you got a hundred dollars out of it. Heartbreaking, But you know what, it's just

the inspiration to make more. I did. Goddamn. That's the part of the game. You know, plenty of it now, Now, how was it again hot with Lizzy Lohan Hill like he's better than that. No, not because Lizzie I've sitting them around. I'd be like, damn. When I see her, I'd be like, damn, I want to get Yeah, no secret. In my day of doing my dirt and wild out and Paris girls, listen, I had allday list girls and I would take them out and I would walk carpet

that let's please pay all. I would mad at. I would walk the red carpet with them, but when I would leave, I would call the porn store across. But they're way more fun. You bucks. King Kardashian opening, right 's doing that out? Listen the movie like You? That was it? Like you were first hip hop boyfriend. Let's just keep it read Scott claiming claiming because somebody else gonna claim it and it's not going. Do you want Nika, I'll be telling because of sticking test out, man, Scott.

I think right now, as you claiming, I've just got I see. I know the truth. It was the first hip hop Come on man, listen listen. People are different places in their lives now. I ain't trying to them. Yeah, definitely big on the call. I got easy threes that's the way to go. They see me the white jacket. Um, come on, there's a price to pay for everything. Alright, But Lindsey Lohan, how was that? Hunt? Lindsay Lohan? How was that? Yeah? Please come on, just one or Paris Hilton?

Either one? But what could dope? Paris is dope? How about Lindsay? That's what I know. You don't want to talk about Linday. So she was more like a homie than anything else. If I went there with her, I really don't remember it so well. But she definitely got high. Oh yeah, let's make some noise for that. Guys, maybe here listen, listen, let me tell you something. A lot of niggas get high with what people name Jamal, and they get high for people named Jamaica Ja. This nigga

got high with Lindsay Lohan. Paris helped him. His first girl was Kim Kardashian. Let's let's praise this nigga's sucking nose and his dad. Damn it, you're my friend, Scott. I gotta beg you. I don't know if you know this is a platform we big up all legends and see a lot of people don't give you the credit for busting it wide open. A lot of things. Come on, Scott, do you think about it? I look as think about it together. I don't want to look Scott, and I

want to praise you for that. He was the first nigger I've ever seen with Star Island. Star Island was very I did a lot of first a lot of first Bugatti. First Tom, Tom, that is a CRS the first book. I didn't know what the funk he was saying to me. He said, I, Nor, this is a Bugatti. That's a fact you're talking. I don't know what it is this listen, this is a true story, true story.

The first thing I did when I got that card delivered, I rememped the plastic off the seats, m and I sparked the backwood in the front driver's seat in my driveway just to drive them, you know, sit there. And I just christened the car. Yeah, did you bust a nut as well? There's probably some DNA of mine left in that, Scott. Let me tell you something, Scott, I'm gonna be honest. At one point you was like scar

face to me, Like, is that respectful? No, I've seen you in your career one day and you closed the draw. It was like it was like when Lebron I said, listen, you go like Jack Nicholson and departed. Think about it. I don't remember of that part, but I definitely remember when Lebron like that and I said, Yo, Scott, you had and it was the pure paris of the parer and not listen, let's make any Scott stories being living. Listen a lot of y'all nigga seeing Scott face the movie.

Y'all never seen a scar facing real life. Just makes a scarf facing real life. I said, I said, Scott doing it, Scott going on it. This is real ship and I respect you. Scott. Just want you to know that from the bottom of my heart, You've always been a great guy and I'm always respect you like that. And Steve LaBelle, we're gonna get back into you. Last time we had you on the phone, we asked you a jam Master j story. You didn't really want to

get into it because we was on the phone. So now we need you to give us because you know jam Master Jake, real Queen's guy exactly. We have to pay tribute and respect to jam Master and to the fucking bitch ass nigga who fucking shot him, and listen to the first white guy. We allow you to say nigga, come and say you know Russian Simmons rust say you you're allowed to say nigga the override ruffle, I want you nigga. Call that nigga nigga killing what we kill him? Man?

You know, let's go look at it. Don't see you do it? Four belong. By the way, we're an apartment four B. Yep, shut out before man looking out. Let me let me pick up my man again. Let me pick my man. Come over, come over, come over here, Apartment four B, please shout out, Sign up the Graham and all that for B followers at Apartment apt dot four B. Queens, we're in l a legend that going down your Scott being this to me all night. You see his shots and see my shots. Shot. No, No,

like I said that shot that. I feel like you needed that to blown some blow jobs. Finish it because, like I said toever, the motherfucker bitch ass nigger out there, kill j fucking I did. I did. Maybe you and your family rotten hell. Yeah, it's funny because you're from Queens. So every fourth of July, Jay would call me. He's like, Steve, call your Italian buddies. Let's get some fireworks. We go

to Speendycok Spaghetti War. You know, you know, you know the first time I've ever seen John Gotti was in Spaghetti Park when he beat his case. I'm like maybe six seven years old and I'm miss Spaghetti Park and John Gotti beat his case. So when you said that on on on the podcast when you hung up, I actually said that story right, And when you said that, I knew your official limit. Let me see kah let me. I just took my dad to Lemonize King when I was in Queens. I'm going back to Queens next week

for my birthday. Be fifty one. Man gone, i'thday. Hell yeah, no, no, go to Vegas, no one, I'm Vegas. What are you? What are you calling it? Mathews frost bite from let's Vegas for us? You gonna eat some molly ass. Let's not. I'm going home to the tip of my father o g ted. But you know you always want the fireworks to bring back to to third in Hollis and blow up all the fireworks for the kids. And we st always get the fire works and go over there and just you know, I just got so many stories man

from Easy to so much ship Man. Now how we go Western Peace, jam Master Jay. But it's the first of them. Mind, you ain't manage them at that time. Yeah, you actually, that's just it's the first that you ask me. Yes, look, so let's listen. Listen, listen, this is Students and Healthless Records was distributed Relative. I worked at Relative Civity. Easy we did his album, We did mc ran, We did app band Clan which was will I am from a band clan Bloods of Abraham. There was a White Wrap

group which was Jerry Heller's nephew, Terry hellers Um. There was so many, all the signed to Ruth's you know, Easy was a you know, real businessman, so I was a and R there at the time. So when Bone Throws came into York, Easy had died so didn't really know anybody but me. So I was the A and all I would did the solo projects and did the more Thug label that we had so many hits and then I just started managing them. So I wasn't around the first of the months of thuggas Ruggish for love

of Money, Keep it right there. Yeah, it's the first of the month. This guy, you heard that record and what did you say? Shit, you knew you know, yeah, but you know Bone and very innovative, creative man. They're singing rap man and you know we're salution. They sat Rocky Solution, Kendrick Solution rights this blank Dogs. But I

feel like Bones Dougs don't get their dues. Um. He sold fifty million records, which is all for a rapper, fifty millions, and they collaborate million and you see the fifty millions and you're always touring and at the end of the day, the only rap group No MP No MP three that did songs with Easy Pock, Biggie Jam, Mr Jats mentor Damn after Easy died to the record with pun to the records of you know, so many people, Um Tupac Doug Love, but you know, I'm still with them,

and shows you the integrity of myself because all I know is longalty and integrity. So twenty three years later and yeah, yeah they're crazy, but that's still melodic ship a K nigga. I need, I need the beginning, at the beginning. I wish we have to keep we listen, we keyboard. But you know what, I figured, that's what every other interview was gonna try. And I said, you know what, this is my brother. Queen's guys would do.

They don't follow that because you know why, he ain't gonna sunk with them like he hate sunk with me. So I said, at first, I was like, you know, find the keyboard and all that. And then I said, you know what, I looked at him on the internet seeing how he killed it, killed every I said, you know, I just want to speak to my brother. But now for our listeners, how did it's still dray day nigger? How did that happen? I'm gonna tell you right now.

I remember, as clear as a Bill dre I'm getting it with program some drums every day, like we were sitting there and he would come up with a drum pattern, and that particular day was separ And then he went and need a sandwich, sadway in the kitchen at Encore Studios. What does he eat? I don't know he was having

a sandwich? Was it turkey and gees? It could have been quite likely, definitely hand The kitchen is obviously within earshot of the control room of the studio and he just left the pattern, just playing, and I got on that joint and I said, hang ling inging, ding ding ding ding, And he walked in with the sandwich in his hand and he said, that's it right there. Because we was down to the wire. We had been making record after record, making a hundred records, and we were

looking for that single. And he said, that's it right there, that's it. And by the end of the day, and you did that on the piano. I did that on the piano five minutes later. We put everything around that ship. It was just a base on a little string. We didn't do nothing to it. It was just three elements. We sent it off to jay Z. Was that that was your idea to send it to jay Z? No, that was not that. I mean, obviously it would have been a great idea, but quite certain that came from

Dr Dre. He's a visionary man. I learned so much from that dude. I'm not trying to be a dick writer or nothing, but for real, that was how I learned how to do what the funk I did. He's watching him bring the best out of artists. The beat is made, he said, sending it to slide. Yeah, standard, we respect you. Man. As a beat maker, we like to have high standards and be like no, no, we're gonna scrap these joints and and ship and look for that magic ship. But Dre takes that to a whole

other level. I mean straight fire where we're all in the room like this ship is crazy. He's like, that's all right, let's keep going. Now that's that level level ship and it's up, City boy d. How you doing, man? What's going on? Man? You text me back? Now back man, I'm going there. So do you do? Do you think? Because now you came from the roots. Not the Roots is a musical bad That's like if you listen to the like trial called Quests album just came out, love it.

You could hear it loud, you could hear it and the speakers, but then you can hear it on a little headphone and that's when I know your album is though. Of course rest in Peace so but so is the Roots. The Roots is like a musical band. Funny you should say that because the Roots we got our tone center from an instrument called offender Rhodes, which is an electric piano. Let's say it again for it's a electric piano. Used their most soulful music in the seventies now Trial called quests.

A lot of their samples were samples from old records like Herbie Hancock, Bob James, all these different people that played Defender Roads keyboard. So when everybody was sampling it, I started playing it before anybody. Everybody's on the Roads is Dick for the past twenty years, but nobody was working with it when I When I got on it and I was like, Yo, this keyboard is that's what they're sampling. So I said, I A bought one at the time, nobody wanted to keyp what it was two.

I got it from the old church. Yeah, it was giving him away in Philly. In Philly, so I had this road. It's the size of a coffin. He imagined toring on the street with this big gass keyboard. It's like moving a fucking real piano. So whatever, you know that that was what I was able to do, and that's what I do now. I'm able to take whatever the vibe is and I do everything live. So I've you know, hip hop is going through periods where people

were sampling and playing live. Ship I was able to persevere through all of that ship because I play it live and if if samples are in, I played live in such a way where I'm making sound like samples. I had dirt to it. I had records crackling underneath everything. Filter that ship and just manipulated. Now let's get into that Lean back, baby, lean back. What the funk happened there? Raoul, A mutual friend brought Fat Joe out to my crib

in Western Florida. Okay, let's describe to people with Western Florida in the middle of nowhere, guys, because I still don't know where western I was. I was, I was trying to I was. It's Western fort LANDA. It used to be the swamps, but now it's nice everything out there, mosquitoes and three million dollar cribs. And then what happened? So you out there? So Joe comes out and he describes to it what he was feeling because he told

me he beat box this ship to you. He kind of you just know, he don't think he didn't know. But that's okay. But there's a whole other story about a girl named beat Box. My girl has to do with a are squad Trizzy, but that's a little story from I don't want to get into that, like let's let's go there, but around a corner from that. But no, it's real. So he described what he wanted. Fifteen minutes later, he had leaned Back, and then he says, Scott, I

need an intro. I need some real hardship. So I said, and it just happened, and boom, they thought I was a musical genius. I just got lucky that day. It was likely you didn't say that again. And you didn't say that again, You're like, Scott Storch is a musical I just remember from that. In uh, two thousand five, that was the MTV Music Awards. One of the Scott Storch moments that was just lived this ship. In two thousand five, the MTV Music Awards was in Miami and

I had very first McLaren SLR. They're joining the wings that go up and so ignorantly I left that ship on the red carpet like, and I locked the way with the doors open. We had parents, Hilton on my arm, and I went and I performed lean Back, and uh, I remember we had I looked out into the audience and I've seen Bruce Willis leaning back, and that was one of the coolest ship I've ever seen him. And I thot that's got Joe, say Bruce Willis and say

lean back. But Paris, that's the first person to introduce you to cocaine. Is that's crazy? Los Angeles didn't hear man, I didn't introduce myself. I'm like, man, people always point the finger to anybody else. I put that ship in my nose. Ain't girl. Send him a girl out though. Listen, I'm gonna be honest with me. And I had that gang of fund though I'm from the hood. I'm from the hood. Every person that ever went there, it's a grow you know what. The combination of cocaine and pussy

is a motherfucker. It's a motherfucker. It's the first one sky, just one it was. I think I remember that ship. No I heard it was Lindsay. Was it Lindsey? Stop parents? The sky is my man. You don't give a funk. You know, not to sound corny or square and noting, but for really, I'm having more fun right now. And I smoked so much weed and make so much music, and I hang out with my girl every night. We bug out of your girl. No, she's the ship. She

got me on for the fucking bullshit. That ship ship, But that's the ah huh, let's talk about where you was on. That's more fun, right, it's a little bit more fun. So um. But but but Lindsey gave your coke before I heard that what I read it in a magazine. And listen, why do you bring up all these girls stay famous? No, but I'm saying, and they like, I know when you've been with Jamaica, But I ain't gonna bring that up because she can't remember. Jamaica is

way more fun. But not to all any day, not to all listener, because your Scott starting ship, you're going not to pic Let me ask you a questions. Would you walk all these anglist girls on your yacht or would you want ten bad South American mommies with fat as? Now I'm a born nigga, Scott, I go to Coscos just hanging a picture. Listen, I'm going to cost nothing.

We'll keep it real ship though, yo. You know what it's crazy, you know listen, Scott, you hang out with me, you never hang on me again in Miami, like listen, like like if I go with you the club you'll be figuring. It's almost awesome. I've been through a lot of ship with just doing right, no telling in the daytime. Alright, can I ask you a questions? Do you remember being a fugitive at my house? Yes, I was harboring the fusionist. Give me five strothers. Yeah, and you know what now?

I go to Costcoals every day. Yeah, if there's time, cocles, I don't want to buy wine for one bottle. I want to buy eighteen? Did I say that a lout? Like maybe eight maybe a couple of trips. Yeah, so I buy I bout mad bottles. I bout mad bottles and I go to costcos all day. So Steve Labello, I'm boring. No, no, no, no, we know she's not cocaine. Story too. That's why you stop. Get never my life, That's why you're stalking hot. Let's keep it only god

coul judge. But can I say something about Steve Labell. I'm living great right now because I got this motherfucking managerent and I'm just talking about financially and that's great. But I'm just saying like I'm living a good life. Look forward to every day, I get a text like, Yo, this motherucker's gonna show up and he pulls it out the woodwork for from Queens, but we kill it every time we're working for real hate from Queen, like she's shut.

He's doing ship that he wouldn't do because the game has changed so much and it's different from back when he was doing a lot of stuff. So now we're living in the Spotify world, digital world, so many new artists getting signed. It's hard to keep up. But you gotta go with your gut in your ear, and you know, we lead as we're not followers, so we can go in with a lot of people. But sometimes it's good to break some new artists that are about to break.

That kid PNB Rocks were going in and then Thursday Scott's going to a bookie with the hoodie from New York. That's that's the showing some stuff to Davis. We thought the movie. Yeah, so we're throwing stuff to m new album everybody. When don't we get into the studio and I try to get that James, So Jay Scott want to work with you. Jay Z's got and we're gonna do it a movies do something to m now you know we're throwing things out. You can't just say that

we're throwing a very point. We're throwing things out there. It's eminem are we officiently saying that on drinks? And I'm just saying is back in the studio. I don't know. Let's makes a noise, but I spread in the room up everything when we stay stuff here. We don't think Lizzy Lohan is gonna be there. Scott is making the beat, Let's make Maria, and we're about to work with We're working with everybody, and you both of you guys, both

of you guys in my family. I'm gonna just be honest, and I'm so happy that you guys came to let me bug out with you guys, but you got information about him and then being back in the studio. Everybody's back in the jay Z's back in the studio. Everybody's and people want substance and people on real music. So did you have the trial? Because the trial, did they hit number one? Because I know they numbers. Hopefully do dayl Soul hit number one? You know, feel like it's

coming back. I think you think it is, Scott, Yeah, And you know what I'm on the heels, all these young producers and you give us he's working with Metro Boom and he's working with Murdered Beach. We call out when a lot of people, can you give us something? On that car to five, you're gonna see some ship. It's crazy. Yeah, I like this. I'll just look at I like it. I love working with people that are hungry too. Now you know you don't want to thing

about you, Scott is um. I always tell people, I say, if the producer sent you to beat, I don't think you're working with him. And you've always been a guy that come over here, come vive with me. That's the only way against dumb man. You gotta vibe out. You gotta make that. At the end of the day, it's

really can you agree with me? That's the reason why music died is because everybody got rich and everybody said I've seen you know what, and you've seen this ship, and nobody got back together like think about it and at a certain time and day and I don't want to put put it. But when we all got to the student together, there was no rack, there was no

but you were in the studio. Wasn't like, oh, send it to my email and you don't even know who you're collaborating with, just because someone's hot at the moment. That's what's sucking up the music industry. So on the business side, and the game is twisted, and I feel like nineties is back and people want substance and real music,

you know, bone Thoes work on a new album. But at the end of the d you know, at the end of the day, like there's a lot of great talented autists out here and the Internet is a gift and the curse, but we got to use it for advantage and always safe. To the younger generation out there learned the business side, like do you know about publishing? You know, asca being mind, you know about ancillary? Do

you know about anything about touring? But the newer generation, they want to do it to be cool, do it to like make history, you know, because money come and go with us to be stayed. So I don't know. We're just working with everybody, and Scott trust me to bring generation in to work with them. And if Scott breaks the new generation, Scott Storch still Scott starts what she never left. That little I looked at it, man,

I don't know if you don't know, gonna lest y'all that. Yeah, but that's all you could do, is that, you know, nor I feel like loyalty and the integrity called me um and principles of morals are throwing out the game right now and it's out there. Yeah, I don't know how to do slime. It's come over there. You ain't gonnah to do with the ship. Come on the side podcast, by the way, do let me get some of that.

Let's make it to us. My man Revern runs birthday today, birthday coming up, Scott's birthday calls that's how you know, really France for a long time, and look at that how it's good. That's because little little little a little severing my nigga is that nigga still ain't got dream on and she is to all the real ones out there to health for cottiness, Scott, listen you, it's a hardcore drinker. I'm gonna quit on taking another shot with you. No, I'm not, I'm man, I'm man. I'm like a kid.

to Drink Champs Radio with Rapper and R and DJ. Then, so tell us, I want to tell us some big Punt story Steve about man rest in peace to Big Punt like, it's just crazy because he was Joe's brother, But he was Joe. He was Joe's hype man when I met him, right and we would get in the van, remember Fantastic back in the days in Massa Peka. Unless you did told to me like that, why, because I've been speaking about Fantastic for the first podcast Fantastic. Yes,

that's a long island. I don't know what you said. That's a long island. Yes, okay, my back. And we used to go out there and red bands and every label used to do it right and we get the vodka Netly put me on. So I wasn't even on the label because you talking about ninety six. Man, that ever you told about right now is ninety six and ninety seven. I ain't even tea earlier than that. Ninety Yeah, I was in jail, but right as I don't all that, um you know, and shoutott, I can tell you. So

the show he's still in down is crazy. But you know, we would go get the van right and and it was me Raoul, Me and Raoul go back ups me Raoul uh flex full flex resting people. Crazy thing but a great man can he raided all. No, you don't rad it all. And then Joe and Punt and we were getting that fantastic vantag Joe would not fly back then and he would not fly. Yeah, but when Punny was just as hype man, he wasn't part at the time. Up. Once Pump blew up, he was first class every day.

Joe still van and it to first class and we went to do Mix Shore Power Summit, Rest in Peace to Justa and Bahamas and as a picture of me and Cam and Punt. I threw up the other day and Joe took a boat there and we flew there. But anyway, so Pun used to be Joe's hype man. We would drive around back flies. We would drive to Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit when we health stores existed, like George's Music Room and all that stuff, and radio and Michel Chicago. Yeah,

but we just go to Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland. The way you talk exactly, so many facts. There's so many independent retail stores back then. You're gonna put up pop and brif shirts and doing stores, give cassette samplers no thing, and and do radio only had vinyl and going the stations and Joe and pull with Joe's hite man. And I used to have the old motor roller flip right from the label. But they didn't want us to spend no money and have forty dollars a day per deem

for us here and two fat guys. And I had those hit phones, remember back in the days when the dudes used to stand on that long expressman take numbers and hit the phones. So I had to throw away phone and on the road and punt Man he used always want to use my phone, and we would all get him like, Punt, I gotta call radio, I gotta call retail, I gotta do all this stuff. He's like, I just want to call my family and my kids,

so I let to use my phone. And he would just always call his kids and set on that phone and say how much he loved And that's why when he passed and all that stuff in the media said he didn't take care of his families. Yeah. So anyway, at the end of the day, you know, he was Joe's hype man and next thing, you know, blew up and then he was just off to the racist man and um one of the biggest Latino artists ever and

rest in peace to my brother. And I don't know, I just Cuban Link Triple says, all getting back in those days, you know, to sunshine came then you know, like I said, man, I've been around a lot of dudes in this game, and I feel like so on and I'm from the original Terror score change. Let me just get your story. It's my nigga twin. He went to Vegas and lost four went to Vegas eighty dollars and came back with twenty. Right. You like that story? Right?

Just say you like that? Sorry, say yeah, I love it. Came back. We have a better story tonight a night. Twin is twenty is my little guy. Right, here's the reason why I want to get to heaven, because they said, in order to get to heaven, got to do things for people that can never do things for you back. And that's my guy I love. Even if he can't be able to do something for me back, I'm never gonna take it because that's my guy. That's my little guy. Like I look at a lot, that's you know. So

Twin goes to the airport this morning, shape beard. He hit me, I am early because I'm my early bird, because you know, I um um, I used to be in jail and I got kids. With that combination together, I can't wake up after six thirty, right, so I wake up. I just hit my little nigga something nigga Sunny Sunny never been um calle in his life. So Sunny Sunny hit me four thirty in the morning. What's up, nigga? Come than we took my flights. I laugh, relaxed. So

I hated my Nigga Sunday says she's coming over. Earlier. I said, you're listening, Twin is coming Sunny. He's Twin. I gotta go upstairs and shower. Sunny hits Twin, he says, man, twin wire you at twist. She's proud. He said, what are you talking about? He's like, my sister couns of my Fightough is this true? What is this? Come on Sunday, Come on Sunday. He wants, like you want to So this sister was keeping right because you know, I give it all out. She bought it, and my my palms. Look,

I bought the flight. You know what I'm saying, I'm negative in the bank. So I gave her the money. Some the teams in her car. Pause. But then she had someone. I went to the you know, commonly to get my little check in. I'm happy as I'm gonna you told us niggers. And then you know, the lady told me I don't have a flight. And I was like what you men have a flame? And she's like, oh yeah, your mom called and canceled your flight. It's like, oh, I text my sister and I was like, oh you

had a good laugh. She she said to call one of my rich friends to book my flight, and I was like, bitch, you better get Actually I know you got your flight. This is what happened. So it's just a book. F Twin is my little man. But it sis sucking the homies. It's okay, we understand it happens. Big of your sister said listen, and he blew hard for that. That's me of beef on my homies because she's beefing with him. I told you I'm sexual that ship with him, and these are my and I have

a brother. This yashing my friends, I don't say like sash like she wanted to snitch on my friends, Like I almost. I'm not snitching on my nigger cause you're breaking the chee cold. Why you're breaking a man cold? I right snitching, bro, you know what I'm smashes. I don't know where not saying this, but I got not really doing that ship, all right? So she catching my flight. So he go to the airport and he check in.

You know how you check in, You put your put your shot on the day and they'd be weighing your ship. I don't check that. I don't check that they weigh this ship. Know they waited ship was it over pounds? So I don't know, but I know it was over nine to seven pounds and they sent them out of the yakta mean. So now I'm gonna stay a shower and Sunny calling me like seven times, I see two miss calls from Twin. I said, damn, sh it, real downstairs.

I don't know what I'm doing. I don't really know what I'm gonna do, but I'm gonna make sure I smell good. Grab my card. Yeah, Tom Foyd, you know what I'm saying. Let me sure. I came downstairs and Sunny he was trying to like he was trying to serenade you, like in a good way. I don't I don't know serenade was the right word. But wait, relaxed Twins. So bottom line it's twin. Sister told him your dad, nigga, you ain't get you don't know for like all I

heard went to Sunday. Open the door. He said, she's trying to take my dreams. Yeah, talk about it, man, don't this your sister. Though we didn't want to do that way we do on this woman, but it's voice your opinion. What happened today. What happened was since and casting my flat only because we had we beefing. You know what I'm saying, this was you know this happened. We started beefing after the flight was so she wanted

to get me back on your homies. Yeah, man, you think Scott Storm just throwing out Howami Blizzard I sucked everything in Miami seven years ago? She probably I probably did. I don't know. I don't recall. You don't interfere with my flight mine. Come on, man, but what she's talking on the homies, Yeah, that's not right. So that's not right because she says I'm not Louis. I'm like you

not Louis. What you start making me look bad? Man, you may get you know what I'm saying, Like Scott Steve, Yes, sorry, yes sir, it went't laugh, Yes, sir, it went laugh it off today. But you know what, that's a bit of a thing. I made it. I made it, he made it. This is all guy, that's a guy. Listen. Sometimes you gotta take care of people. You gotta get back. That's what you gotta do. Talks about that's what you

gotta give, not taken. Yeah, you show a little world your first time and that that ship over there now that's a second. Last time was the eight dollar story. Okay, you changed about his life. You gotta change. People look bad. So what's so? What's so? Scotty stories? Tell what is next? What's going on? That's your artist and looked like hell artists right there with the dress for some reason. Your name is Lulu Oozy bell out. What's next? Yeah? What's

the natural? Scott Um? You know what? I have an artist, this girl Tyson, eighteen years old. She's a singer. She's dope. Um working on a whole bunch of different ship right now. Man Um being a freelance producer. You know, you want to work on the top projects that's out, and you want to work on the newest ship that's out, and you know touch the the you know the culture and and I guess I'm trying to like do everything right now.

Let just be universatile and just be everywhere now where you in Russia and all that, everywhere doing a movie, doing the TV show, doing I'm doing sound packs a kai right now, I'm doing all kind of doing performing live and I'm just doing the stuff that you know, I'm hungry again. You know not not in terms of the money part of it. But I just I'm feeding for that spot right now. And you know, like I only know what it is to be at number one on the chart, So I'm gonna stay there. That's where

I live. That was the next state. Um ship, I'm just living life, man, you know what I mean. You get caught up in this game thirty years and you do it for the love and the passion, and time goes by and you see a lot of things. Um, but I never got to enjoy myself in life. So I'm just enjoying myself. I don't want to do and um, you know, going hard with Scott. You know, we're gonna win some Grammys together and we're just gonna keep doing innovative and creative stuff that he's never did. You know.

Um he said, we got a reality show going on, you know, just I got a bunch of stuff going on. Old times. You know, I got a consultant Businessteveal about consulting. I'm doing a bunch of TV stuff, reality TV stuff, working on new Bone, Thugs Out, and we're about to go on the Snoop Dog Tar Puff Pluff Past two. Talk of December, always trying, Yeah, bunk dugs, y'ell. We got a book in the anc uh you know, Shaun

Kingston stuff. Just just doing a bunch of stuff man, like on this my Instagram is we're working because all I do is work, you know all you do? And then we got a merch line called hip hop don't know you. I just feel like for like, I'm not gonna stereotype. I'll stereotype this situation right now. You know, you meet a lot of young white kids, right and I am white, um, And you know there's sixteen seven

thing got their pants up. There's fake ten half backwards saying they love hip hop and doing it to be cool, but they don't know who the best boys are. Third base hip hop don't know you. So you can't even conversate with me, like learning and big shout out the mc searches in the l A right now which to get up practast But you know, if you're fit the Midwest and you don't know what the Dayton family is all proof from one twelve rest in peace of mc breed.

Hip hop don't know you. So I learned to learn the business, learn the forefathers, just learned about the culture and the lifestyle is deeper than just Instagram and social media look cool. So I'm the guy to preach that. I do a lot of motivation to speaking in ju and our hall um, drug rehabs um and uh high schools and colleges about the music business, in the music industry. So I do a lot of stuff like that. I go and tour and do that. I don't know. I

just I don't know. God is great, man, man, thank you so much, Steven. But but before we get about it here that asked it's going home relaxed, and I thought Bowie had him. Now cut mas scenario. He said, jam Master Jay story, we needed, we need a jam Master Jakes. Who's my nephews. That's my nephew, because my nephew, Queen's jams j was the realist, you know, and the clue to run DMC. This swag one of the best DJs ever and it comes from one used to bring crates and stuff and a lot of people look up

to him. But like I said, man, me and Jay did so much. Another story used to go to you know, the Giants games and just watch Pepper Johnson in front of us hours and watch the Giants game, Go to the next game, watch Mark Jackson playing just like just cool stuff. Man, Jay was just the coolest man. Wish that everybody got to see him, meet him and whoever did you know? Then they understand whe is. But you know,

I don't forget where I come from. So every time I talk about the industry, I talked about jam Master J and Jason Marzellen and I said, I know when you're trying to go positive or negative or whatever you want to say, but I always salute jams J because he was the realist to me, my friends and the police did a terrible, terrible job. And like I said, whoever killed him, you know, and there's people who do

know that he rotten. Helen and family get fucking raped and all types of ship just cremated and staff just every nasty thing you can imagine, because man, J is hip hop and it's sad, you know, like other other accidents and other people I killed in the industry, you know, it was different things for that reason. But for Jay, come on, getting killed playing the PlayStation. You know, Jay was on the really so I take it personal, and

that's it. I've just been blessed to work with j and punting, Biggie and pop and Easy, and not a lot of people could say that. A lot of rappers describe Easy before forget about it. Marketing businessman, crip um, real one, Um, fear nobody and just you know, if you go, I'm show that movie was inaccurate. Ninety percent in that movie was real, like you know, and everybody was from what I heard. Should never got at him

like that. And at the end of the day, like come on, you asked, you ask Cube, no matter what you know, Easy he put the money up. Easy was the marketing guy. Easy was the businessman in California right now. He signed Bone Thugs and Harmon. He signed ap band Clan which was will I Am. We wouldn't have a lot of gangster rapp and anybody was real from the world. It's a little Easy. Listen. His wife owns, you know, one of the biggest catalogs in the game. So that

was Easy Ruthless Records. So you know, Um, he was innovative brand ambassador, uh, creative marketing genius. Come on, man. So at the end of the day, you know we we like I said, I feel like Easy don't get what he deserved. I don't think um Bone does get what they deserve. A lot of some of this side they don't get what they deserved. But you know, I've been blessed to work with just you know a lot of legendary groups three six of my feeble on MG. Like I said, the Outlaws and Bone. But you know,

we need we just need to keep the culture alive. Man, That's what we're doing. Really. Yeah, City Boy did. But listen, before we get up out of here, your relationship was Sugar Knight, Scott. Want to start with you first with Sugar Knight. Sugar Night, you know what he was somebody had met a couple of times and in Hollywood. And then years later, I'm moved into a very exclusive neighborhood and Beverly Hills, and he was my neighbor. And you know, he was struggling with a lot of things, um his

personal life as well as I was. And you know, he never did anything to me other than show love and and you know, I got nothing bad to say about the guy. And I know he was there for Tuo Puck when nobody was and he you know, we all in life is a is a crazy journey. So you know, whenever he's been through and he's going through and you know, big up to him, and you know, yeah, I mean I call him Simon. You know, I know Simon a long time and I judge people off the

way they treat me, and I live off respect. And she has always been cool with me, you know, And um, I don't get involved with all the other stuff, he says. She said, by the end of the day, whenever he saw me, show me love. And um, you know, he's in the county right now, and I feel like a lot of people should step up and put some money on his books. I know one person who does Alan Groenblack for me. One Entertainment does me and a little queens and at the end of the day, like come on,

he's as as a queen's answering. Just so you know, the biggest catalog and hip hop history is death Row Let's eat one owns And but you know what, people need to go put some money on his books because the end of the day, like there's always three sides to a story, and that man helped a lot of people change a lot of people's life, so he wasn't dead.

You really can't, you know, say something about the man but like I said, I judge people off the way they treat me, Like ninety percentage music industy is a lot of fake ones and they're scared and they hide behind stuff and they call men. There's a lot of rappers get robbed and they call the white Jewish guy from Queens in l A. But at the end of the day, like, don't put it a salt on, be real, don't be fake. And there's a lot of fake people.

But you know they're all smile on your face there, you know, back So everybody't there who should have made rich and you know, discovered and help go put just because put fifty dollars on his books. You've been in jail, so you know how much that means. But no one's even giving a funk that man's going easy. Sun just came out the county said he's song and he said look bad, you know, and if if had the opportunity to go visit, might go visit him. The leasy was

in the county and he saw um shouldn't. But they're like, you know, if you don't even know him, go put somebody on the man's books, because he did a lot for this culture. That's true. And that's that's what I'm just saying. Like if he disrespected me, I would say, you know from but he never disrespect him. You know, we showed me love and I know him for a long time. So on that note, that's big up name. Yeah, I mean teachers on man only got to judge, right,

motherfucking right. I don't know. I love it. Ship keep going, that's I love it. I got no filter, So I'm gonna tell you the truth, keep the questions going, like I ain't like shows, make some noise. Let's make some noise for chill forgot. It's funny you got that number of positive things to saying. We at different time, and that's beautiful. A't ain't ain't nobody gonna challenge you or judge you. So yeah, yeah, we got a problem like

it is what it is. So I just want to thank both of your brothers for being here, Um and the drink champs for militia. You're doing what we gotta do, like we does gotta do around the corner from the percolat to keep the percol percolator on fire. Drin Ecres Walter Scott smell same backwards I did the first the first time it was ya gotta meet. I've been thinking

languages that follow it, broken soul. I want. I can't thank you all enough, diego, thank you for putting it together, thank you for having Steven about Scott starts coming in here and just sitting here talking. And you know what I've seen, you know, every other interview and they want to have Scot. You know, we already know Scott guy still dope though we know we got me doing it. You guys The Morning Walking invited over to Scott's house and watch him play grand piano in his living room.

We're gonna we're gonna do that. We're gonna do That's appreciate it. But that's another episode right now. It is holiday season, so we gotta thanks l A. Without coming over, I'm gonna no, no, no, no, no thanks. We're we're coming back to all birthdays coming up. And you live in l A. I live in l A and New York. Because we see we're seeing your fathers swimming. Man shout out my daughter as a queen's my dad. My dad's eighty three years old, and it swims thirty laps, literally

real swimming. Eighty three years old. Man solves around were gangster from Queens, and um, you know he knew Jay, knew Joe, he knows everybody. Um. But at the end of the day, you know, I go back to see my dad, man, because you know, I lost my mom a few years ago, and I regretted it because I'll traveled so much in this game and chasing my dreams and chasing you know, the history and in the in the passion of this industry. So sometimes you forget to

visit home and go home. So now I go home, taking my dad to the Mets games, Yankee games, Jets gihnts next and that's all that, and just spend time with the Lemon, Nice King Corona, just different ships. Man. Yeah, because you know, like we don't appreciate sometimes what we really have until it's too late. And you know, so many people don't even appreciate a dollar bill or a toothbrush, you know, and there's people over the world starving and funked up. So I appreciate life. So I just go

back home and see my dad a lot. Man. We stayed were straight right where we grew up in Queens, and um, I'm going back next week for Thanksgiving, So you know, I don't forget where I come from, nor you already know that. Man, definitely not going back for things giving. But go ahead, Scott staying in Miami science here here this with something to leave with. Uh um no, just this is this pleasure to be here. Man. I'm just so grateful that you put this amazing show together. Man,

I'm so proud of you. Man. God blessed, thank you, God blessing good people. God dank God damn it got them because I wonder one podcast and other fucker. You know, let me tell you something. You know what they always say, they say, oh this one, this, this one that, But you know what, you can never count knowing out and and everything is dead man, because they don't say this. I want them to count me out. We'll fun them

because everybody counts a lot of people out. But you got the hottest podcast in the world, and you do. You're shooting on a lot of people's stuff, a lot of You're being real with and innovat him creative in them. People don't like that. They like the bullshit. They don't like. So you know, if anybody, if anybody deserves success, guys like yourself, who has a resume in stripes who put in a lot. Of course, JF my man, James used

to work with us all back in days. Now you know James, but you know at the end of the day, that's the street team history. Ye yeah, I don't even know what it was, but it's out the fly. But you know, you guys are innovative, You're creative. It's real and thank you and you put you you know this what I swearing. Man. Everybody wants to skip the world and you deserve it because you put the working got

the strips. Man, you're not skipping like you know what it is to go to fantastic but then you know what it is to get on the private jet and and and and exactly the tall bus and a car. Whatever you need to get done, you're able to get it done. And you're still relevant. I tell people I'm a dinosaur but on fossil fuel because I stay relevant. So as long as you have a good car, I'm a dinosaur, but on fossil fuel because I stay relevant.

And if you know, and I always try to tell people, man, on a business side, less is more, less is more and quality over quantity. And to the younger generation that's listening, to this. Money comes and goes, but history stays. As long as you make history, you're gonna make money. Rollings don't define us, bendes don't define us. Money don't define real ones. So just you know, just work hard, man, hard works, and to really pay all And this is proven.

This is proven right here. This is hard work right here through child relations and still going. But respecting, that's what the key to everything is. That's the real key to success. Respect goddamn makes a fact. No, I know it's gonna sneeze early. I know it's gonna sneeze earlier. But Scott Steve, thank you all for hanging out with the dream Champs. Thank apartment for b s picked them up.

My fellow Queen's na the sounds has it? It sounds of course, uh Queen's ship, my nigga that just dropped the cold cold and John D and you got your button on like we think you Chicano. We don't think you Chicano at all. I'm just throw my friend now talking about Tito. Get my friend. Y'all just looked at my left and I see my man's shirt right shout out flavor the flame. I'm looking you're my nigger. But you're from Fairfaxts right now. I knew, I knew you

wasn't from Cali at all. He's the one that connected us before. Yeah, I know, but he got he got the button up like like, don't look at me, little puppet. We're yeah, So listen, Scott, Steve, They're listen. The thing about our ship is we want to pick up our people, the people that have been in this industry and can and continue staying in this industry, and we want them to feel great every time they step in here. You know,

we have quote unquote a million listeners. Well I don't even give a funk, but we got him every week and they tune in. And we want to pick up all legends because in our generation, when you have ten years a better, people say it's over for you, they say fuck you, you old fucker. Let they say say ship like that. But in rock and roll, in jazz, they praised these people the more years you have, and I want to change it. So I single handedly I didn't want to say you know what, uh, look at

what they do. I wanted to show what we do. So eventually, you know, drink camps. We want to have our own verging a Hall of Fame. Action speak a lot in words. That's what you're doing, you know what I'm saying, And this is what we want to do. So drink Camps. Every A lot of people ask us why you interview such and such and such, and we we we we we love the new generation as wow, we're not this enom in no way shape formal fashion.

But they got the radio stations. How about the people who've been around forever and nobody patted them on their back. That's what this is about. And it's just like, you know, Scott been one of the richest people ever and he still is, but he's the background guy. Where's the guy that continued to pass God on his back? That's who we are to drink Champs, Steve, You've been in the game, you ran with everybody. You may not now I've never got a pat on your back. Honestly, That's who we are.

Little way the people to say we appreciate ate you. That's why the Champs is important. Drinks is one part of it, the Champ part of it. It's the real importance. We respect our legends and we want us to continue to keep doing what we're doing, Like he does. We gotta do around the corner from the percolator to keeping the percolator percolator and on the fire and that equals wall though now it's real ship, you know what it is.

We just we just do. It's behind the scene, so to speak, being humble and just being humble, and that's really what it is, just being humble. Never forget where you come from. Never because just be confident. And we don't need the credit. Man, I really don't like I'm about how the scenes type of dude. Man, we appreciate that. This is what we do at Drink Champs. We give our legends. Scott. Don't you ever think we don't know how much money you made and you was coming out there.

You picked me up in a sixty million dollar boat and we got the sixteen dollar mills. Just that that was the hardest thing, right, And this is what I'm trying to say, a lot of people listen. For the rest of my life, I will always respect the boat for you, brothers, Thank you Black West. The boat for you brothers. I will always what did you sober drink?

I don't like it the drink Champs called you should have just hit it from the agg Now now you gotta put them some book audio there, but it doesn't matter. I really appreciate you brothers coming hanging out our apartment four B. We appreciate you for letting us, you know what I'm saying, set up Scott Starts, Steve Labell, you guys are wonderful people. Thank you for letting us bug out with y'all having fun, because that's what drink championships. We bug out, have farm with our legends. But we

never forget to pick up all legends. We never forget to make sure our legends walk away and saying, these niggas understand what I did in life, what I did in this industry and what I did and that's what that's what our whole ship is about. So we want to say thank y'all, thank you, and we still drunk, and what we're about to do, we're still I'm still gonna get your drunk. Scott, Let's take their flick, all right, Thank you so much.
