He's a legendary queen's rapper, Hang seges your boy, and he's a Miami hip hop pioneer. What up is d J e f N? Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in music and sport. You know, I mean, the most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts.
This is Drinks Chip read to where every day is New Year's e. That's right, yo, y'all, y'alla YOA this is your boy? What U d J? E and his Dream Chance podcast. Right now, we gotta start with the lady. She's legendary, she's Brooklyn's own, she represents. She has been holding down this media again far so long. She is a queen broken Barrius Black and Asian. What a persuasion it's going down. She's my sister. I consider her a sister,
a friend, and she's excellent at what she does. Right now, we talk about Angela and right now we not only have a radio legend, we have a mixtape legend. A person that personally helped me in my endeavors, in my you know, struggles in life. If I didn't have this man in my life, I might not been where I am. He used to pick me up, take me to his grandmama's crib and that rhymed in the basement he is Now he's a mixtape lacking didn't cross over to radio and now he's a part of the number one showing
from the past. I don't know up teen years. I'm proud to announce my friend DJ. We got to get we're blowing up, so we get gifts now. Boys, Yes, yes, we gotta step it up because y'all never give out breakfast y'all don't give about breakfast. You got it from the what it is my personal Yeah, that's responsible. Yeah, alright, solo appreciate that we're having drinks. This is I always love to do. Yes, I always love love when I don't interview artists because artists, you know, mainly in the
show has to be always predominantly be about them. I'd like to sit down here, you know, I'd like to sit down and chop it up, like you know, um, just speak about hip hop in general. What um evy did? Did your buttons go at you a little bit? What happened? I don't you know, I don't know. Somebody told me. It's something that he says someone I think on his podcast, but I don't listen to his podcast. But you know I did hear that, and if he did it is it's really fun that we coun curse it, right, you
can say as that's not a curse, that's a blessing. Okay, Yeah, you know what I mean. I think it's a disappointment as a person called you got your phone number? Yeah, you know, we we we see each other a lot at the barbershop, you know, and it's certain things that I respect from people. And if he's that way, I understand that's in his blood and that's him. He can't change that his blood. Like like you know him certain things with certain people. I respect. He was one of
those individuals that are coming up. We came up together. So yeah, Clue put him on women Dy actually put them on in Yeah, if there was a problem or situation, I would call him first, you know, for instance, you know, since we're here, I'm not drunk yet, but when we get drunk, I'll tell you something. What I think makes a disappointment is he's a runner. And when I mean runner, if he gets pressed into a corner, he runs. I'm saying, like, you know, let's do the history, shout the tax stone
tax on his head, tax on the bump heads. But if I see him, I still approaching. We still met, not like if he if we have a difference of opinions, we could as a man, we could have a difference of opinions. But when he did that podcast when he was about Joe's career, when he was I remember what it was, but I just remember him leaving him walking out. That sounds I didn't remember that. Then when he went to what was it hot ninety seven interview bro He
ran out when he was asking questions. You can't, you can't. You can't live your life like that. You can't live your life where you have a hundred percent of your life out there. But then when they ask you about something of your life and you don't feel comfortable, you run. That's not grown man ship. And you know not to talk about him because I don't want to, you know, talk about this so much. But got uncomfortable when tax asked him, did he sit on the bitch titty? That's
what happened right now? His his answer, it was horrible. Let's let's just be honest. I'm not gonna use you. But under yea's under yeas titty, under yeas titty, it's her stomach. So you said I didn't sit on the stomach right now. I know that's a horrible answer, but you my god, so you're horrible answer. I ride with you. I'm not gonna say that. I don't know that. I don't know just when you can't ride with somebody because you're cool when they're wrong. You still got his hand.
You never say it in front of people, you see it behind the scenes. If you feel a certain way. Now, no matter what Charlemagne says, if I feel like he's right and wrong, I'll never say it on air because that's my guy and I ride with him. But after the showing, like your son, you know he was wrong about that that I just agree on the air all the time that when it comes to certain things that
that is is personal. You knows, violence like domestic violence, like for instance, he says something about the whole stopping Frist thing, when I had the whole stopping Fris conversation, right. But the reason I had that conversation is because a day before they shot out my Rolls Royce tried to call Jack me in my call four times. So at that point I was emotional because I got five kids and a wife that depended on me. I make the money, you know, and everybody say, way, we should be so flashy.
I've been this way since I was sixteens. I've been driving bends Rolls Royce since I was sixteen. I'm a grown ass and you gotta bends. At sixteen, I didn't, I work hard going. And the thing about it is, you know, people like, oh, it's fake, look at that right there. Look how much it coosed to fix that car. What's that say? Let's say too much? Say it, say it. I want you to eighty works work, God damn work when he is working. So for him, I just feel
like he's a disappointment. I mean, I love him. I think he's literal cool. I think he should have been a lot bigger and better than what he is. But that's his decision. I still love. But really, because you guys had a pass, you have a history basically because if it was somebody says tax Stones in the room. You can't get mad at Taxon because it's not like y'all have history and like it's not like he's gonna call you and winning the fight. Enva Joe body. But
I just need it's life skin. You gotta get it. But I don't know. I don't never talk about fighting because people say it on the top of people don't know you box. I know, I know. I used to go karate school. So now I'm back in the boxing box. If you post a video of your boxing after this, I'm done. I don't want to do you don't somebody music. I don't like to fight. Yeah, I defend myself. I've got five kids in a wife. I don't gotta fight no more lass box too right, I don't know the
box in the stage. I got a conversation that wasn't fight. But if it got to a point where I got to defend myself, I tell to myself, nobody fund, let's stop, let's keep, Let's keep the piece, man, keep the piece in the Middle East. But that's what, that's what, Joe. But let's go to another subject. Yes, yeah, you are the first lady to ever come to drink all exciting. We always have all pool sticks and no pool pockets, Paul,
is that notice? Put the pocket? But you know, you know, any gotta work early, you know, you know, yeah, you know he told me the time. How does it? How do how do you feel like being on a drink chance? Because you know what, I'm gonna say something that I probably only say on the breakfast club. But y'all kind of like the reason like y'all kind of let me come up to the breakfast club all the time, all the time. You let me do what the funk I wanted with so it developed a love for me controlling
the room. So how do you speak about that? Why would you always let me up there. First of all, let's even before we started on the Breakfast Club, I always was like, Man, Nori needs to be on on the radio, like speaking. But I know that you have your other career as an artists, so it's hard to tie down. So that's why podcasts are perfect for somebody like Nori. You can travel, travel around, do you. You You got a lot of history with people, You've got a
lot of great stories. He's a good time you partner right now. And by the way, he took good care of me. He got me my Hennessey excep. Make some noise for me to being classy. He gets up at six and don't matter what, even if it falls asleep at five, it doesn't matter. He'll tell you about the interview. He'll tell you when you're right, he'll tell you when you're wrong. He listens to the show. He respects the game.
He understands radio, which is dope. That's why I've had some classic moments when remember when we did um patris O'Neil was on No man, Man, I wanted to do a project with him too. Man, that's crazy. I thought about him the other day because Um, I wanted to proof we descript it's comedy script and um I thought of him first, and then I thought of T. K. Kirkland. You know what I'm saying. But Patriso neil Man rest in peace man. But like, how how did you guys
come together? Because Envy, on one hand, was at Hot ninety seven, you were as serious Satellite, Charlemagne was in Philia is unemployed at the Unemployed and it was that power already. That was before I went. I went to um Power and you had like the five o'clocks, five o'clocks. I'll be honest. I don't know if I should be honest, but be honest. I didn't necessarily want to go to Power. I was kind of trying to use and how I
want to get more money. So when I went to EBRO, I was like, yo, son, they offered me some money. You know when you match the money. Me thinking Ebro is gonna be like, bet will match the money. We can't afford to let Envy go. We can't afford to le go. He was pretty much like, you gotta do what you gotta do. You can't get this on camera came. So when I left Hot, I didn't have I didn't
I have a job. I was kind of so you didn't have power in the I didn't heard how in the pocket they wanted to be, but I was kind of stuck. So what wind up happening is when I left Hot and I went to Power, they gave me like one of the worst contracts ever because I don't yeah, because I didn't have nothing to do, Like, I signed that contract with no loyal Now let me ask you who was the first one from Hot ninety seven to
go to Power. Feel clue? So he went before you clues looking for me, all right, and then I now described this time. So now I signed the Power and it was probably the lowest amount of money I could possibly make. And I said, they signed me and I signed a contract because I you don't know, not that I'm feeling myself, but I was like, I'm out where anybody that's there, I'm gonna prove to you after this two years is up that you have to pay me.
And the first year I worked my ass off, busting my ass and they respected it and then they needed a morning show. Now my contract changes. Now could stick you up because I already showed that I could work and bust my as Now did they have this plan of y'all together? No, actually they was. They wanted me to do mornings, and I didn't want to do morners. I didn't go to shampoo in the house y MBS. Definitely, definitely, I'm sorry. I didn't want this with Ms Jones and
I hated doing mornings. I hated waking up. I you know, I hated not taking my kids to school. I just hated that time. But they made an awful but I couldn't refuse. I'm like, this is gonna set my family
up forever. How about you, Angela? I think for me, I was as serious and you a show called lip Services because doing so Yeah, I was doing mornings with Cifer Sounds, and ciferd left and went to High ninety seven, and they did try to get me to come with him to High ninety seven, but I decided to stay and do my own show as serious. I had my
own show, yeah Shape in the morning. By the way, I was the first woman on that station, my first So when they approached me, I had been as serious already for almost six years, and I was kind of looking for the next thing, like what's gonna happen? I had got an offer from Philly. At the time in Atlanta was interested, and the day that I was leaving my meeting from with Philly where they made their offer, they tried to get me to sign a contract on the spot, which of course no one should ever do.
I was regular radio, but it was Radio one. It was Radio one. I was walking back to my car and that's when they called me from Power one O five Life and was like, hey, would you be interested in doing morning now? No? But g Spen was the one that actually initially he had not spoken to me about doing mornings. He wanted me to come to Power just to do like fill in spots and do weekends, while I was as serious and so I was down for that, but then seriously said I couldn't do it.
They wouldn't let me. Yeah, they were like, no, you can't work some of us, but when everyone else does it, So what's your first start? You like ship, they want me to do mornings? You know? Envy I we both worked a seriously and then did you know Charlotte I kN Charlotte Man, Charlotte Mean and Envy and Charlette Men had both co hosted with me as Serious a few times on my morning. So what was your first starts was you like, like, listen, my first thought is always
let me hear everything out. I'm not like make a spontaneous decision about anything type of person. So we sat down, we talked about it. I got my offer because family, he just walked over and Jake when you know, he know he family, you know he knows he I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But you know, in this business, until you
have a contract, it's nothing. So people could tell you anything and say hey, we want you to do this, we want you to do that until I have a contract and my contract is signed, which Envy learned, it's not a done deal. So I was just laying low until I had my contract, had my contract looked at, and then when it happened, it happened so fast. I
was at work. They sent the contract over. They said, we need this contract by later today because in radio it's like we get rid of who's on now and you're on the next day, Like you have to have your contract signed before we get rid of the show that's there now. Then you so you're saying to yourself, what was the moment y'all knew that this was a hit. It wasn't for a minute, was it? For a while? We always got right? Yeah, like a year was a pivotal moment that ray J was that pivotal m Oh
wait wait wait time my hold ho. So you're saying in the beginning it wasn't working. I've never I always thought your pop from the beginning. I think ratings wise, it's a funny way that they do ratings and everything. So you know, it's that it's a matter of finding your group. Like I'm sure when you guys started doing the podcast, it's a like a double dutch. When do I jump in? When do I jump out? We still
don't know everybody. Yeah, but it takes some time to find that rhythm, and it also takes time for people to know that you're even there in that market. You know, people are so used to listening to ninety seven in the morning. That's that's that's that's that's what was shocking to me. Was I remember and this is real? You could ask Mike Kaiser we have had something happening from the hot ninety seven or some type of bullets flying whatever. I don't know. I wasn't there, but the story you
step away, it wasn't there like, that's serious. So I was banned from Hot ninety seven. What happened was when Power one of five came into play something to take off of that band because they like, we don't want him to go to the other side. So I literally was the only artist that couldn't say I made the switch. Remember how every thinks there's no fucking archives of me saying that, and if it is, it's like recently, like but during that time, Mike has was like, you can't
say that. Can you say, now, well I made the switch? Yes, I definitely made this. So so you say in the moment when that ray J call, I didn't think that was the yes. I mean that was the maybe it's one of them. That was the moment because I remember they were keep me tell when you're when the program directed, and he said he got indoor pools, outdoors, not looking at you anymore. They just walking by the studio, they're not really paying you no mind. And we was just
getting nervous. We knew what it was. And then when that ray J call happened, Now I set up this score, had a fake fight, had a fake fight at ray J Cole. I'm gonna tell you what happened. I was I had just left Vegas, and I was, yeah, the night before, because that happened in Vegas, it happened in Vague. So I'm driving to work in the morning and somebody calls me, Yeah, they'll remain anonymous because I don't want to give up my sources, and they say, hey, you know,
ray J and Fab just got into a fight. I heard, are you still in Vegas? And I was like no. So during rumor report, I was talking about it, like, yeah, I heard ray J and Fab got into a fight. So that's the six o'clock in the morning. In the morning, so you know, the show's going on, going on. I'm not really seeing too much about it, but I'm trying to figure out what happened. You know, I don't camera envy,
come on, what he's doing right now? Okay? So anyway, um so then ray J's guy hits me up, Billy J, and he says, hey, um, he was asleep. He was like, ray J wants to call in and clear some things up. And it was the end of the show. I was like telling the car right now. And we never put people on live because you know what they're gonna say. He's the reason why. So we put ray J on live and he's like, Okay, we're gonna put you on right now. Don't curse. Don't curse the first thing you done.
What the fund is up? Y'all? Y'all fan, when I see him and we just went crazy, was like, it's like that bit in Corner ray J. And then that's when he went into that legendary rat and it was funny because I texted fab I was like, I have no idea what you're talking about from the tweets because father is a funny dude. If you know fath you knew he didn't mean it like that, you know what I mean. He continue, So he started, you know, he started with the indoor pool, outdoor pool, and it just
went everywhere. It was. It was outside and this is when TMZ really didn't do much urban. It was on TMZ. It was on everywhere you could possibly imagine. It was there. So program directors around the country started hearing it and it was like, on your breakfast club is really doing well. And that's when I think the station was like, well, we're gonna give him more. We're gonna gi him a shot and let him rock. Out a little longer, and then that's when the tide chased and we've been running
and to keep it real. After we recorded that part, they called me. Billy J called me back and I was like, oh man, he's going to tell us to pull it. We can't play it. We hadn't played it yet. He was like, yeah, I just needed to take one thing out. I was like, tell him to tell him now. Now you're go on that phone with the homies. He was like, you cannot name because he had named the booty name the boy guys. He was like, I'm gonna have him fun. He try to that's his crew, that
Fox other dudes. That's really actually a horrific thing. Threaten somebody with you punched me in my face. I'm trying to me, what can I do? What are you talking about? Drink chats we name them name serious Serious. It wasn't famous people. It was just like his crew. They're real people. Actually, we probably shouldn't see that anyway, because we could have been held liable for some you know, you never know, right.
Sometimes something I'm drinking, I like the fact that I'm drinking brown and no one's really touching my boat, you know, you should know is anybody wants some to X and I want to go in the beginning, but that Birdman moment, break that down. The line is two minutes and radio history. You know his name, and they kept saying wants to come up and Charlemagne said the day before he said he gonna come up here. I'm a fan of the show, right but you know he Burnman reached out to me
and said I want to come on the show. And when he said he respect my name that he didn't know, he didn't con't mad when he asked, and he was. I was like, you know, it's not gonna be light. I said, we're gonna ask you everything. We're not gonna holding back. He was like, I'm cool with that. So I said, you show, we're gonna asked about you even gonna ask about way we're gonna ask I was trying to tell it's melt holes Bault. He was like, I'm cool with that. This is burd Man saying he's cool. Cool.
The day before he went to the club and he was like, Yo, we're not going to sleep. I'm gonna stay in the studio, going straight from the studio to the radio station. He's telling that he on the day before the phone he called me on the phone and told me. So, I'm like, oh, this is gonna be amazing. Nobody's really gotten this side of Burdman. This is great. So I'm excited. So he walks into the studio and uh, you know when when you come to the Breakfast Club,
you gotta do revolt drops first. He wouldn't do the revote drops. He was standing outside. I remember I looked out in you know how you can see people before they coming out. Was like, and me and Burdman was cool before that, like we don't you know, I don't never really say nothing about Birdman. But so it wasn't you who didn't have respect man and had man. But I looked through the window and he was standing it with arms. He's rocking like that. Like, but you didn't
do the drops, not because he has people revolt. He just come in. I think he just came up there. Ain't got mad. And then he walks in. When he walks and he don't speak, that's not burn Man. I'm like, oh, he didn't nothing to me nothing. Nobody just went inside in the chip he always being real like cool like and then a part of you want to say, it's just Charlotte Mane, like, just keep it real, like he was just Charlotte man who going at him? Correct, Yeah
it is. But you know what too is is the dudes burn Man came with is my people's from New York. So I know nothing back there, you know, I mean Buck was there, so I knew nothing was gonna go crazy. No, nobody was gonna get shot. The wody was gonna get pointed. So I knew what it was. So I just knew he was pissed. I thought that the conversation will be good. Charlotte Agnet go back down, and you know me and he you know, I'm an alive I'm an when I'm alive,
done a lot of research and introspective questions. So my job is trying to control. You know, I'm trying to control. I'm like, right when he right, when they're about to fight, I put it back. So how's the album? Angel asked about this, and then when it gets too easy, Charlemagne goes back. You know, I'm traffic controlling. I'm gonna tell you. The funny thing is that the cameras were rolling, because those cameras are always rolling like cameras in the room.
I don't think he realized that, so he's thinking nothing started yet. The conversation that to her was like pre interview, and then Envy goes, all right, let's talk about on the air. Let's go okay. But when he said y'all finished, Oh, y'all done, what's the job me? I'm an English major, wadd I was like, that's the same thing. In my head, I was thinking that, and I was like, I'm not gonna say nothing, but I was like, that is the same thing. Are you finished? Come on, come on, do Americans.
We've got to relax. You got to relax. And what is what was your What was you thinking, Envy? I was, honestly, I was thinking, this is gonna be on the internet and we're gonna make some brain. I was thinking about the hits that we're about to get. I'm like, this is amazing, this is real radio, this is not this is his real true feelings. That's the best thing about the Breakfast Club. We don't care how you feel. If you like us, if you don't like this, we do.
We just want that natural reaction, whatever it may be, like being e segully of the day, whatever you feel, we love it, you know what I mean? You know? And one thing about Charlotte Magne, like him, love him, hate him. Whatever he says on that air on his podcast in the street, you're gonna say to your face. So now it's just your reaction when you see it in your face, and sometimes it's just priceless. And you wasn't there for the being okay, so envy did you
think it was gonna go there? At some point when the point and he just kept pointing absolutely. But you know, remember I know Beans from Rockefeller days, from punching people in the face, from pulling out guns and people like, you don't lose that as a grown man, you don't get old and stop that. So again Beans called me a couple of days before It's like I want to come to the show. And I was like, okay, you sure, and he was like, yeah, I want to come to the show. He was like, I'm gonna give you a
disrecord every date until I get there. Right, So I was like, all right, So I heard the dis record. As you listen to the dist three of them, Beans has bars. His voice don't sound the same, but his bars hasn't changed. So when he said he was coming. I knew what it was, and I knew Charlemagne has been setting the platform up for the last week's saying
I don't respect him. He was on tax that broadcast and Beans was saying he had shipped on he said something about Charlemagne like yeah, yeah, so I knew it was gonna go. Let's get to it, right because I want to. I want to finish that. But wasn't you that made little Mama cry, that's not angel because I was like, legit, that's what I let him put it on me because it makes him look bad. But I'm gonna tell you what really has. Let's let's get to
that and then we're going right back to Beans. Go ahead, all right, Charlotte May will make a lot of jokes about little Mama and to bring you into this, Envy's Wikipedia it used to say the Envy was married to little Mama World. But that's because he calls his wife a little mama all the time, so he'd be like, yeah, little Mama's this, this and that. So it was on his Wikipedia like Envy's married to little Mama. It says he's a gardener. Also, I just want to say everything
in the breakfast club and Charlemagne does. They stepped to me because I'm the only one album. But what are you talking? Anna tell you about Little Mama's pop pulling them on me? And so where little Mama comes, I tell them in advance, I said, listen. I told her. I spoke to her. I said, Charlettagne is gonna have a lot of jokes. You know you can Are you sure you can handle? That is not gonna be cool, because I don't you know. She's like, no, I'm good. I'm gonna come right back at him. I was like,
all right, so we bring her in. Charlemagne was going hard. He was calling her. He was saying, she looks like struggle phase. He was saying some things that would really mean. So I was trying to I always try to shift the conversation. That's who I am in this show. Who would win the fight everyone want to bring. So I was asking some real questions about her mom, and I think that she was already feeling kind of beat down
from the whole conversation, and it just got overwhelming. And that was before after she jumped on stage with Whole. This was after after this. This is who set up the seating arrangement in your studio, because it seems it seems like Mane is like it's set up for a fight right there. You know you didn't Mad it's a queen's nick. I know, he let me be on the other side, became something to produce. I can run the
boars and run the box pro and all that. You even know how to run the boards since Hot Night seven run the boys. But that when when at first I just thought you was just going to be the DJ, I had no idea your personality skills was that usually know what I mean? So look back to this Beans. You thought Beans was gonna snuff I didn'tink was gonna snuff Charlemagne. But I knew he was gonna have some words from when I knew it was gonna be tense. See, one thing about Beans is Beans is Back in the day,
he probably would have swung on Charlemagne. But now Beans is a businessman. He knows what his beef has gotten him. I mean, because you got kids that didn't know who Beanie Sequel was, but now they know who bean He is. So now he knows he has to deliver music, so he's gonna play up. He's gonna do what he has to say. So I knew he wouldn't necessarily swing, but I didn't know that it was gonna get to it like it was gonna get tense. And I think it's a bad idea in the studio. I mean, who's gonna
swing on somebody inside of our studio? That somebody's gonna swing on somebody and don't getting twisted this weapons strategically placed all over the studio. Somebody, this man, police downstairs, Let's just keep it. It's not like, listen, you're arrest You're not what kind of weapons is actually right on the court. You're not listen, Listen, I'm scared of depth. Every time I'm going to the Breakface club. You're not
gonna down Why the police downstairs? Just when good? Give you a frank like he got the hammer right, not gonna make it out. But I'm not in a good position if that happens, because you have to go past me to get to the door. Yeah, so that's an interest that you bring that up, like like y'all do piss off people like when when whether it's just Charlemagne or whether whatever, or if it's envy, your piss off people like, how does it for the girl because they
can't they can't. You know, they can't do nothing to the girl. But how is that being in that heat that just watching observe and be, I mean, listen, if I can try to make things a little softer, I will. That's what I felt, And I really am like that in real life, Like I'm like that with my friends. I'm not a type of person that likes to have a right and I feel like that always happened. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, turned the whole audience on Post Malone. That wasn't right.
I'm not gonna lie that day that I wasn't there because I had to leave to go catch a flight. Post A lot of people was tweeting me like, hell, you should have been there, man, you can it helped. See, I'm a breakfast club I fan, Like you gotta tell um, well what happened? Like you see, the thing about Charlemagne is you can't you can't avoid him, Like if if he asked you the question, it's best to just I
mean that's what every interview. But you know, Post is a new artist, so you gotta know how to deal with a radio personality like that. You gotta go through different layers, you know what I mean. And I don't think post was just just went there and you know
he wasn't ready. It was a joke. It's like kind of like yeah, that's the main thing I think that people don't understand, like you can't get mad, you have to have some great jokes and come back, and that's that you don't got to get mad, and that it's gonna make it worse for you, Like you know, the perfect example was Dave Dash. He Dash is gonna out joke you. He's the guy. He's gonna he's gonna make you laugh. He's gonna talk about your head. Ye interview
did Charlemagne? What did you care? Z legend? He came in, he said the vibes don't feel right and the door was balling. He was like, the vibes ain't right. It there he started out. So you think, in your opinion, you think he wants to piss you off. Plans in advance. What am I going to say to get this person? Anybody false nose? So how is that having a partner that you know deliberately wants to piss somebody off? Is that is that the perfect balance? Because it's good card
back up, you know. I mean, you gotta know when to take it from the tents to bring it back down. And it's kind of like I'm the nicest one in the room. You put somebody in the face and then they're about to punt you back in the sides their back a little bit, so they put their hands down and then you put the faint. I don't want people to think that's what an interview is like on the breakfast. It depends some time like that. People people your kids
too much. Every good question ask good questions. There's a good question always to cause drama. Believe that. I like introspective. The purpose club is the most funnest interview. You just gotta have fun with. Yes, someone coming to drink chance and they absolutely don't want to drink, and they're just made you, guys, because you're not even drinking, and this is drink chance, drinking drink time. Let's let's say it's
not even a shot. Listens t you're not talking about to wish this on noriy, but let's say no refund the training right, what the regular ask and the question you're not supposed to ask him. I'm saying somebody else but me Jesus shot glasses. But if if that is regardless, we have to ask. It has to be a question that we asked. We're not gonna beat around the bush. But there's some things I think that you know, here's
the thing with the artist. If there's a question you don't want to answer, you can say, I I don't really want to answer that question. But see, I heard there's times people would tell you can't ask certain things, like if there's a legal situation going on. But I heard when Federo Star came up there that he said, ain't this something like that when you're not supposed to ask certain questions? Y'all said Federo when I saw it, and y'all said, we don't do it right. Absolutely, So
it is that is that the rule. You can't come in as a label as a person to say you can't ask that. We ask everything. If that's people, we can ask that. It's just how you answer. We can ask whatever we want to ask. They are heart radio. That's that's all. If you go there, that's it's open to anything that's opening, and it's up to you how you answer a question. Nobody could force you to say something you don't want to say, and nobody could force
you to answer a question. Absolutely, yeah, and that's all. I like media training. You gotta be slick, y'all might know how to lure somebody into answering when they don't want to. I have no media training. We know he has been training. You don't know, but you went to school when you Yeah, when I was, I got journalists credits. That's more right, you know, right, This guys the media as I don't learn it on the job. He's the
smartest guy. First media appearance, listen, my first meeting as apparents as a media depth jam hit me and said, yall, I'm going to this. Jez Dinner said, purpose you didn't invite Remember you told me that I did that because he wanted me to be here for the part. Yeah, that's that makes sense a podcast part, because you gotta have you know, he's the one on. So I go there. I go there, and Fat Joe walks in, ang Lee
walks in, and they said. I said, I just want to let you all know I'm here as media doing here. You gotta flip it. You gotta flip it. You enjoy doing. When I see Noriae, I like making him late for his application. Always you made me late the taxtone ship. It was you, it was your Let's be clear what happened. Okay, what happens. Okay, it's not involved. Yeah, but I'm glad Laurie as a person calmed down. I don't know if it was his kid. Ahead, tell your story, mam, goddamn.
So this is remember this might have been nine. So this is when mixed tapes was heavy, and and Nori was releasing an album and in the album leaked to the DJ. So I called Nori, no, can I play a record on my mixstape? He said, Envy, just wait because this is my album. I said, okay. Cool. By an hour later, Nora calls. Nori calls me. It's like, yo, sorry. Absolutely. He was like, I got DJ absolute hanging upside down right now, and Envy and he says, I've been keeping
this story. As he calls me, he goes, yo, um, he was like, absolutely, said that you said it was okay to play this record now, Envy. If you said it's okay, I'm gonna let him slide. But if you if he's lying to me, I'm I got I gotta touch him. So I'm like Nori, I can't lie to you. I didn't give him permission as a name to speak to him on that phone. All he was, you listen,
you're gonna do that. I've been avoiding in this story for years, and then everybody for sure I was too, and they've even been trying to get the story out for years. But okay, this is what happened. I've never even heard this. This is like a true story. Put up the War Report album? How many tracks is on the War Report? Hour? Oh it's war reporter. This is War Report. It's not you're rich War reporter bro. So yeah, you're difference, give me already, right, how many tracks is
on the War Report? No, it's like how you let a song go? Don't break it down to you right now, gonna silence. First, they had like twelve mixtape on his mixtape that is facts like this, and mind you, we already had l A l A out, you already had teo and wyow uh. So that ship was detrimental like it was. That ship was real, like you know, it's like album and like you know, there wasn't downloads and
streams and ship like that back then. So that ship really did mean something to me like it wasn't just like I just you know, jumped out the window, you know what I mean. But absolutely I apologize man like that, yes, my nigga, I mean that she was good, but that but he realized that that was disrespect, like he didn't out the balcony window. It wasn't a balcony. I don't know. You didn't do like he was screamed, you can do it, Tory story. Come on, that's my last just because somebody,
let's go somebody. It didn't happen every then on the Instagram. I was bad and I didn't argue with him. So I picked Nora up because I used to have this blue caravan. If you know conne is in Conne isn't at the light blue caravan? No, that was all I could have the van with two thousand a year, and they gave you the van for two thousand. I had the van. I picked up Norady to do a freestyle, so I take him to a studio in Queens and then my mom's trip. In the studio, it was two floors,
so upstairs was Lost Boys freaky tie. Downstairs was a scenario. This is when Lost Boys was kind of getting be coming at the same time as Freaky Time comes in. Got rested the guy rest of death. Freaky Tie kind of has an attitude and is real big headed when he walks in like disrespectfully. I had to talk to Norri for an hour because Norri wanted to shoot him, like no, no, you don't understand, Nori what he don't try to play me. I'm like, my sensitive vir don't
know where we're going this. We got this sen right here the question it was a bam, great Gus. Now let's talk about what happening at fat Burger. I was there. I don't even explain it. He did a patty plane at somewhere at a kid. I don't know where this blood hair kid. We just got the skateboarders like we got sponsors. Okay. I was like, that's how did it happened? Is bad? Listen now it wasn't. Nowise fall actually to
be question, No, it wasn't. It was Tattoo's fault. But what are you doing this at the breakfast club and the club bad? This is drink chances. They're trying to make us lose sponsorship. This ship was bad't not? This patty plant at a blind hair kid. What happened was this ship from what I from where I was saying, I was having my burger. I love fat burger, by the way, and then I think you went into the battle. You went into the cath right. The kid is regular
kid with her skateboard. The kid and I guess he's high PCs, Nori or whatever. But he's talking reckless because the kids drunk too. Can we get shot glasses? And we wrote with this dude want to show up? You know, So the dude, the kids just talking about to the dude just he just throws the first punch at the kid to do this rolling with us, and then he
just decided. I jumped into headseater, went to jails, went to jail to im I just finished my I'm gonna tell you the funniest ship about that story, right, who is it? Me? Boris Eddie. We went to jail talking about that we can't do. We went to jail that night and I don't know what happened. As soon as we walked in, I'm like, you know, it's mad, theying sleeping on the bench and my Ni is looking at me. I'm like, this is how we do it. I want everybody up. You gotta get up our bitch. Five deep
in here, nigga, we run the sprints? Do I make every every cell we went in? I was like, you got but keep it real. At first, when they ain't know who I was, I turned straight into a jail. Nigga? Is that a fact? Like I said, listen to five Deep, we running every cell they put us in until we fell out. Woke. These niggas ut me, dope. You listen, you get you what five of us? What you're doing? What you're doing? All right? Move and nobody ships? Who's fun?
What's the fun? Spran the jail for a day, that's how you gotta do. You're gonna claim in the media. But he was on the holding cell at that point. Listen, I don't even give a fun. Were running with a deep that's that's listen. That's you get. Listen. We're running the house. It's five us better reading. We're running. So I don't know how we went to jail. They're not get yeah, see we see your fa This is norry about I did be our peak South thing. It was like, yeah,
I ain't gonna front. I had had I had different types of sandwiches. Too, ye sich. Yeah, it was like that's normy. They started laying it out. I said, I'm sorry my name. I like y'all, but they want me to be up. They told me this is when you were talking about. Let's y'all want the juice ball, right, so both cha juice So you gotta be very careful with these. We need to do that down here. Yeah, we're gonna do the drink Champs juice ball. I don't
think that's gonna work, all right. I gotta poor very little. You want me to pour because I'm bad. I'm Chinese. Yes, you just working on bank ball. Okay, now you ask you some more questions. Get ask him? Did you did you in component again? Fist fights? Yeah? Yeah, he's talked about one clearly always we need to compon to make sure you just want just compon. Was never gonna say why wouldn't he say, all right, hold on you cherry picking? All right? Cool? Did you pick this? Yeah? I'm I'm
passing it down. Okay, you can cherry pick though, it's okay. Checking one now, this is, this is this is Oh you don't spell that right, don't spell tiger bone on you. Now we've got to show you how to do it. It's out, I sottle. I can buy a big bomb tastes like what if cat let it taste like wes Wow, that ship is horrible. Wet down with this exso bottle. Welcome to play It, a new podcast network featuring radio and TV personalities talking business, sports, tech, entertainment, and more.
Play it at play dot It. We're back to Drink Champs Radio with Rapper and R and d j F. Then U the first woman and listen, I'm very honest excited to be the first woman here on Jake Champs and I'll drink y'all all under the table. Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait gos, she gets busy. I've let's do this. You know what. You know why Angela is a dangerous drinker because she could be dead drunk and still be like that. That's why. And she's dangerous.
I talked to myself in my head when I like, she's like drinking it in fact drunk right now, just calmed down. She drinks like a sailor man that some Chinese blood in. Yeah, drink hard. We can handle it now. I heard that it was an artist that came to y'all, and y'all had thought that he said he wasn't going to do a good interview for y'all because he was cool with the other stations. Oh yeah, that did happen. Yeah, I'm set this up because this is why emotional and
he's very sensitive. I'm not gonna like envious. She's more sensitive, really steady. That's that's why we get along again. Let's envy holds grudges. She's petty and he's sensitive. And if you send Enva text and you say what's up, he's going to read it as what's up? And she has told me off the ledge mad time and will call me and be like, yo, I'm not going on. I'm like not, I was like, read me the text. I'm like, I don't think he meant nothing wrong. Yeah, because you
know the tone of a text message. If you read how you perceive, it's how you perceive that. Somebody can say something like, yeah, what you're doing tonight, and they'd be like, Yo, what you're doing tonight? I'm gonna rob you're reading Yeah, you're reading it the wrong way. And that's envy. He reads everything the wrong way. The other day we interviewed somebody and he thought the person was coming at him, but the person was just very passionate.
Tracy Morgan, you called it, Yeah, I don't seem like he was stabbing up for a little bit at first. I don't think yeah telling that. What was he saying? What happened with Tracy? I was like, you know, I didn't know you had that many injuries on you, you know, on your body. He was like, you don't need to know, but he wasn't. He was this man in general like the public doesn't need to know, doesn't need to know that,
you don't need to know. You know, I'm healing, and and he was like, yo, is he coming out like let's do that? Yeah, I'm like, not he called me down at you'd be coming me down. I'm a very calm person. I don't really get mad about any day. I'm just you know, now, how about Charlemagne again, Like he pisses us off people and then y'all get the beef, Like don't he have beef for Lebron James son's moms. Jesus Christ, it's Lebron james mom's boyfriend, his son's mom.
Is that why he ain't coming Tom? He just don't want the problems. You don't want the trouble. But you know, it's crazy because most people see me, you're not gonna step to you. So they skept to me. You know, I'm not gonna lie. When I was out here Lebron James and his umm, yeah, he tried to come out. He tried to I'm at me on social media, like I posted the picture with my friends at the pool, like hey, we're out here in Miami. He's like, where
you at, bitch, and he went disrespectful. Damn. You know. He he came to me, he stepped to me. I was I live and I was there too. I was with me and my wife was that live. He don't step to me, his wife and it was like it was like twenty of us. It was like twenty of us there. But you know it's it's there's a bunch of Queen's niggas in Miami. So when I'm there, everybody's there and they all they all Haitian. So he came up to me, was like, what's up? And I didn't
know who he was. I'm like, who's up. You know, I'm thinking he's a you know, a fan. One of the picture I just want to say what's up? And he was like, yo, was your man that? And that's when I figured it out. I'm I'm a man who Charlemagne. He's like Charlemagne. I'm like, he's at but we're about to do a broadcast. You want to walk me over there? We could walk over. They're gonna have a conversation with him. And then he kind of got like a kind of
like a tough talking. You know, I'm a queen's nigga, so I'm gonna die with it, like you're gonna have to kill me. So I'm like, who's suck? And it's funny. My wife is drunk, right, and she's all hand feeling on me, and I'm trying to be like, yo, stop feeling. I'm trying to still running my head. I'm gad. I'm trying to be tough. Don't I'm trying to tough. That's what it was. So, so you know, we went back and forth, we in each other's face. But he was like, yo,
I respect you because you didn't back down. Back down. It's gonna be a problem. You're gonna fight, but you silly, right, But you know, everybody stepped to me Mace, but holding before we go to Mace because I want to big up earlier. I want a big up little mama, you said, little mama's father. How did how did he pulled up? I went to go a little MoMA. That's my people. I went to I had to go. I was I want to know what I was buying. But I was
at Louis Vatoon buying something. So I had the car parked on the side and I was sitting there on the phone. And it was a construction site. So I'm sitting in there and then I see the construction workers come out, and I guess they had lunch. So I see one construction work look at me. He goes upstairs, comes back down and there's like two three. So now I'm thinking that they you know, they're fairs. I'm thinking that they you know whatever. So I get to the
point it's like ten construction workers downstairs. I'm not paying it on mine, and all of a sudden, I see one construction work could come down. He goes to the car in front of me. I guess it was a truck. You could tell he be. He picks something at the bottom of the car and pulls it in his pocket, walks up to the calls now one of my piece of ques. I'm like, who's up. He was like, yo, let me talk to you for a second. I'm like, what's up. You're talking to me from there. He was like, no,
let me get in the car. What no, no, no, you're not getting my car. He was like, yeah, little MoMA's dad. I'm like, okay. I'm like, but you're not getting my car home. But like, what's up? He was like, Yo, you know, I don't like the way y'all. Y'all treated my daughter when I was up there, and I was like, ya, don't like the way I treated your daughter? He or Charlemagne treated your daughter. I know you'd be saying that. And he was like, no, I'm just saying, like when
you treating I said you. First of all, I had a conversation with your daughter before she came in, and I told her what it was gonna be. I told y was gonna get at us, so y'all need to go back and forth. And she was cool with that, and then he kind of just broke down. You know. I noticed when when you stand up to people, whatever it is, whether there's v for the problems, they understand that, they get He was like, NA, get it. That's my baby girl, And you know it hurt my heart when
I've seen the crying, you know what I mean. I just want to make sure that that we make this right and that she doesn't feel that way. So it kind of broke down the barry and we had a conversation after that, you know what I mean. But yeah, Mamma came back on the show after that. Let's be clear, she's good good. But he pulled out. No no, no, he didn't pull out, but he had it on. How did you know he had I've seen him pulling out his truck and put his pocket. Okay, so you peep
before absolutely, I look at everything going jis. I can tell you what tax on this right now in the corner, like I look at everything tax on tax playing with himself over there. But that's what it is. It's like you know most people, like even with with Mace, you know may Day st k. I offered him a drink, and my foul preacher he's drinking like he was the fun Holy juice. Was like, but you know, I got everybody that that coming to me because of Charlemage. They
don't see him, so I'm nothing. Then the next thing, so it's like, all right, I've seen Mason. You know, he wanted to have a conversation about what we went, you know, whatever happened to the breakfast club and what happened came into the club. This is actually have to revote music music converence free years ago. The funny thing is we arrived today. Who's the first person we see in the lobby, Ma Mace. But you know he came
in spoke. But you know he was mad at some of the comments that was made, and you could be mad. And my whole thing is, don't have a conversation with me in the street. Come to the breakfast club. Tell me why you're mad on let's chat with it. And if I'm right over the set, right, but we could have a conversation and he got it after that. But you know, the first thing is, oh, I'm gonna see that nigga, And then when they see me, you know, I'm not gonna back down, like what's up, Let's let's
have that conboy. Oh my god, this is you gonna have these issues too, because this is a lot of that as we weren't supposed to have these issues. You're sucking up our ship. It's me he loves the dn't come out here and talk a lot. I'll get them druscause the lick at the star on the show. Absolutely realized that shot shot and shout to Columbian wife, Shout to Hennessey shot energy shot Energized is the only va. Now why did you make the switch? You made the switch?
This is your second time switch. Listen, listen to Envy. You need to break it down because me seven switch the power went on right, It was like the first was the first. I'm gonna tell you. Raing with Diddy, you know, dealing with the rock and dealing with Diddy is you're not dealing with actual ditty. You're dealing with Diddy's people. So it's like when you need need something done, you gotta go through the side man that goes to
the side that the man. And then it seems like people are always scared to ask Diddy for something, you know what I mean, whether it's product, whether it's this, whether it's that. And the checks were low, and they always wanted you to do extra and oval like what you mean, like what do they ask you to do? Let's just break it down. Um, let's say it's a party. They want, you know, stuff in the party. If if
I want to have stuff, I'm gonna tell you. If I want to have album released party and I say, hey, I need to rock to supply this and I need this, I need product, I need money, sponsorship, I need Diddy to come through. It's a problem. You gotta go with Diddy's salary. You gotta go, you gotta go, you want, you gotta go through different people with fifty. I could call fifty right now. So you're like, this is how crazy Fifth is, right, But besides the baby shower, this
is how this is why I love Fifth. I'm in Miami right now. Fifth norm in Miami. He'll call me me like, Yo, got niggas meet you in the club to make sure you're good. He's that type of nigga, you know. If if when they when they shot up my CARDI of a night, Fifth was mad I didn't tell him. He's like, how can you tell me? Nigga got niggas everywhere? Nigga like he's that like he's protective of his people. And even if if I'm doing a club, if I'm doing a spot, if I'm doing anything, he's
there and he supports. If I'm going through something at home and I'm talking about it on about my wife, Fifth calls and be like, your son, I just want to make sure you good. That's the type of nigg I want my car. He can't. He's your nigga, you know. I mean that's different than I don't care if they say you I don't have no money to help me promote this. I'm gonna help him because he's that type of nig the niggas you run around you. And then he's also the type of person and he's like, you'll eat.
If you got twenty dollars, you'll eat. Put it in this because it's gonna help you make money. He wants to see you make money. I don't know. I don't know if everybody's like that. You don't feel like that way about Puff. I don't know Puff like that. I know him from his music and him coming to do interviews and him having us on revote, but him personally and supporting me and me supporting the liquor. I don't
know him Fifth. I could get Fifth on the phone right now, but like Fifth, I need this personal I need I could say fifth is the type. He's gonna retweet me and pust put me on Instagram to get my father's up. He's gonna put me in power to help me with myself. He's gonna say, you'll eat. I think your family should do a reality show. I want to shoot it. You'll be executive producer, so you have control. He's that text person. He thinks that way. There's a difference.
I see when he puts it that picture in me in the velvet blazer, I was like, Oh, Cassie, I'm trying to still stabbing me deserved some noise. D to be on drink chat so much. We want that efference sparking ship as well. The resource room that you were at the top for another shot. That's who you' that's I'm gonna tell you this on camera. On it, you tell me what you need and I'll make sure that sponsor should come through. Yeah, I would like that. This
gotta be the only vodka head. Now we're supposed to get a little botel. Dn't do that. The only the only drink, the only make it happen. But I'm telling you you should be drink funk with left frack. I funk with forty Pride, me too. I funk with Queensbridge with baside. I'm a nigger that can go through all. But I'm saying, if you want this money, it's only effing on this table. Vodka. That's an alternative. It's gotta be a certain kind of sun. We got a little
bread over here. We have a little bread over We have to know main sponsor. I'm just telling him, which is crazy for us. She's gonna be handed when she pulls heavy hand. All right, ye, crazy ship, that's what we're gonna do. This is my people's I gotta thank y'all. What you mean male potency, that's what it's fall on my dick hale, that's what it's for. I'm gonna be sending pickure to my work. I don't know your clickmaking in case anybody. All right, you know the rules, right?
What's the rules? Done? Right? Yeah? Yeah? Come why no, no, mother, don't fill the tiger ball. That's not that's good. That's good too much? You want to switch shot at No, no, no, I come on, I got the use cup. I got the cup to switch with. Anybody found me out right now, let's wear lix. Everybody, Twitter, I can tell you feeling nice, t take a Shott's how real niggas do it. Look, there's not real niggas doing. He don't give a cup take a shot, Twin that you know it's my man.

Right when you said, I mean at CBS, you heard Elliott said, that's a lot what he's about the liquor dropping that he complained. But let's get to that. Okay, Wait, so tax Stone does our John with Charlotte Maagne and then we we we hang out. Later, A tax gets on twin Snapchat and says, I don't use condoms because

How are you gonna follow my richard own? Rich own? When you get you know what happened to your your niggers that you used to be with. Mo's amazed? Um yeah, I mean everything is good. They doing anything I'm doing me. You know what I'm ship. Everything's good. When you take that ergy, I don't know everything's good.
You know you involved in life and everything gotta keep moving. You speak to the people in the old block and help them out. You don't call me to the wet called me I love flush. I mean, I mean at the end of the day, at the end of the day, you gotta grow with life period like level spell backwards level. You gotta balance it. You know what I'm saying. It's backwards already spelled. Baby, you know what I'm saying. But you know what you gotta do, like in life, man um,
and you gotta respect other people. As well if you want to go certain places like there's sometimes you want to want to jump out the window, Like you know, I'm gonna give your real life my neighbor, right yeah, my neighbor, my real neighbor. I went downsta during the hurricane. I went downstairs, I smoked the bowlie and then came out. He walking his dog, so be kicking in. He's Everything he said to me was the opposite of who I was.
He was like, you know, I'm gonna go sky diving as soon as this ship is over, and would you go sky diving? Never? He said some of the tip to me, and I was like never, And then I realized everything I asked him, he never said never. Like I was like, yo, you want to come smoke some weeds and ship whatever? He was like, I mean like, and I'm like, you know that's and I don't want
to get emotional, but that's the reason why. Like I kind of credit my wife, Like you know, many times I've been to Paris and I didn't give a funk about Paris. My wife, baby get dressed. She made me go to the Eiffel Tower, Like this is truth, right land. She's like, I want to go to the Colosseum in Rome. When I go to Rome, right, I've been a round fifteen and I've been at Rome, you know. And she so she goes to the room. So we land and I'm like, living room, put us off at the Colosseum,
you know what I mean. And my wife is like, what, Nika, I'm not taking a picture here. I have an outfit for Rome. I'm like what. I'm like, yeah, we're gonna do it. Like I'm like, babe, we're at here. I gotta performed later, it's like fuck that I came to Rome and and it's real, Like so she showed me the world. So sometimes you gotta be willing to say, shut the funk up and just listen to life, and
you appreciate the other things in life. And certain people if they're not with that, if they are with that, you gotta move on. You gotta do what makes you happen. And my wife the same way. Man. Whatever she says the outfits and you know what, I'm seeing that your fab got beef and family outfits and I didn't. My wife does this like she does this like she matching outfits. But you know, whatever makes it happen. Envy's wife need to set a company where she helps others do everything.
That's my little mama. You gonna take a shot of patrol too. You can't do that, Envy. Your nighted finished. I may not doing that. I'm gonna tell you this about envyb fake drinking. I haven't done it here, but I usually do any through drink over his shot. You're coming with empty. No, I don't drink. I have a drink of fifty take kids to drink, right does But the guys in the room right, No, it was the last time you cry? He just did? Was the last
time I was just keep crying right now? Cry cry, cry on impulse someone whatever you need, an actor, whatever you need. I'll do whatever that boy. But I know where this was going. It's the crime question that men in the room. Last time I cry, you asked me when I watched the Thirteam, that was just so that just happened like Friday. Yep, I cried like a three times? So what did you want? Emotional? That's what you know about the emotional man, because people always act like Men
don't cry like that. Men hold it until they can't know more. They frustrated and then they let it up that time you cried. I can't honestly remember. I'm not gonna tell you I don't I remember. The last time I did was probably because I was about to get into a fight. I was frustrated when I was stressed. Do you know about his ex girl? We brought this up in plenty of episodes. We got to do it today. Let's go nobody. I mean, she's not important. You said
you're petty, right, super petty. I'm petty pet But he's gonna say the story wrong. I just want to say that I'm playing with the facts. Okay, that's what we're called facts. We called drunk drunk racks. Okay, this is this is my friend forever, right, But he's one of the most stubborn. I was the first dude to bring him Miami to do a show mix tapes. I was the mix tape. Do the nobody knows? No, no, no, no, definitely not. That would make the story way worse. It's
way worse. But listen, damn interacting you. Three is my lucky number. So we had to. Okay, so he got he's dating this girl. She wants to be somebody. I'm mad. You who don't want to be somebody. Come on, he wants to be somebody in the industry. Okay, she's using him. No, no, she wasn't us started. I'm taking my early twenties, like eighteen whatever. So she does videos and he says it's over before I tell the video. First of all, you say it wrong. I told you. I told him get facts.
Wait before I say was video? Is he petty? Just one just saying it's over? Not one. I wanted my girl being in a video shaking it as like Star didn't meet her that way. I didn't hear that this were gonna do went down. We were both young people. What was she doing? She was doing? She was in high school. You've been a video shoot? You know what happened in the video shoot? So much? I think so much. That was a street tream street team rep for a
lot of steam. Hello. I was spinning like and then she's like, I want to get into the modeling and I supported her with modeling Lane. But when she wanted to go into the video room, nothing wrong ain't there? And I see what happened. The video was video. The first was the Thong song reading you did you made the right made this is where that was that big song, the dog that's a big that's a big song. I don't know if it was Yeah that was a fox bro Yeah, no beach, No, that was big Pipers. Person.
Who's the person I don't expect. I don't say the champagne Like it's not the one that the champagne it has to be. I didn't break up with her. For the record, we split ways like equally. We both went our different ways, right Okay, Like I'm not I'm not putting it on me like I broke up with her like we were. When are you ready? Nobody else got any more about the big Pimmin video? What other videos?
You no? I got it? Just one more? O you bring up the Belvet devote video up to guys, I forgot about, but that one won the last the last videos you know, I mean never really I wasn't at that point. This thing is still listen. We went to the Bad Boy Reunion tour in Vegas. He still didn't speak about VOT time I started the club. That was the first on the first one, skinny name. Yeah, that's the first one after after they broke. I don't know if they content not. I'm saying, but after they broke up.
That was the first one she started digging, right, was the vote. They're not felting people, but that is all great. Though she went up, she would be obvious. You think are upgrade from at that time? Yo. Still, let's see that shot from that time. The poison, poison, poison, poison, it's how is that up? But poison? You don't know this man. You can't beat poison. You can't beat poisoned. Beat down, well see that smacking of flipping, rubbing down. She wasn't, but she ended up me baxtays at age
we had too. That was too. Yeah, three is my lucky number. And then we we can wrap it up. Let's get the one more shot and you part again. I don't care. We reckless people, man, Yeah, come on, and we thank you for joining the drink chaps. We are Yeah twining you wanted, were trying to make twin facts to com okay, twin a little bit. That's the new slogan. You gotta we want to pick up the corner in the house as well. Let me do myself. Nine out the A and nine shout the rich blanco
done And he didn't even drink his last shot. That's not he didn't even drinking tabone, making him nervous. He didn't built the boat dance. He's good and he can do whatever he want. That. No, you gotta hold it do She was like a drenk tip right now making that's right. I like that. I like when people take over the show. I drink that. That's not don't drink. Don't do that. Time you got color and you be a real whack right now, tea nah do that first?
Give one straight? All right, that's cool. A hold on, don't drink, don't don't wait right everybody, that's cool. I'm gonna take my glass. Let's go. Oh yeah, motherfucker's I couldn't do that a goddamn it. We usually asked, go ahead, this is a good question. Usually do they as gonna be some other ship? We usually asked our guests. Do they he asked? He asked you you're a beautiful sexy chicken. Yeah, guy to do that. How many rappers have offered to
eat your ass? Nobody offers that? Yeah, everybody wants anywhere, said up, wait because this real ass eating niggas, that's what the that's the game. Come here, come here? How would you offer that? How would you offer it? I mean now that we right, Hey, Holie chass as a woman? Wait, did you like that? I don't want to. I don't want to think that you just run around eating everybody's gass and you haven't. Yeah you already Ena, she's saying. No, I don't want to think that you eat everyone's ass.
I want to think that you eat maya you want I am to ask eat it though? If I like you, I eats That's what she said. She just turned off by that. Every day you know, he said it nervous though, like that, like you want to eat a panther. He's like he's shooting shot. He's like the superd He's like the superhead of ascid. Would you change your shirt? A shirt changing change his shirt? You want to know how to listen? We had a show on what was our
show on serious end? Though? Serious? We don't need it? Yeah, we had a show. We had a three year show. He had serious sex. He didn't need her just completely told us she had salad for lunch. What's honestly, I don't really I don't getting my ass here. I see Eddie, I was dead like change that don't you like it because I think that I don't think my ass must be wet. Oh, she don't like your ass even had it done like that, He says, he comes with the white I put it. I don't really like that. He's
that serious. To look him, he's like tiger bone. He might be no real drink chance. Right now, he's looking at it like nothing. I don't want around. How many you'll like to get your ass? If it's my girl, don't with him my way anything, it's my lady. I will eat her as it was ready. I wasn't ready. I just wasn't ready. Just don't put nothing in there. You good with you? You different now, Nori. I'm sing around him, yeah yeah. And he cries when his wife he's his as I do not cry. I need not
cris He going to fall. I love you, I love and I tell you that. A real story. Me and and was on a flight. We were going to l A and so we were both fortunately in first class. He was sitting to cross on the next row. We're watching Creed on watching Creed on the TV. A glance over. Andy's watching Creed also. He is bawling. His little eyes made it out. I look over here in his blanket wrapped.
He's going ahead. Cried the other day with many story about his brain being out the side of his head and how he felt and him losing his man and his wife saying his wife crying when she saw him for the first time, and it feel bad. Story out on the thirteen too, Yeah, one thing the thirteen, Ye man, Like damn. I wanted to call niggas I know I violate it to be like yo, I just wanted to sound be the first person you call. I did. I
did call him answer, don't say you don't know? This is real ship, so like not, I did make the phone call, like I just wanted to be like, yo, my bad, my nigga, Like I think I was wrong, Like you know what I mean, Like, and that's cool. Like as a man sometimes if you're wrong, it's cool. It's just gonna it's just take it now. You still take it person to fuck you, right, you know what I mean. But that's how you like. That's how I feel like I'm gonna make that call. Is there any
beef you won't let go? I don't about beef, nigga, Like I'm trying to sound like I don't about about nigga mostly everybody. I'm very cool man. You know there's nothing you won't let go. No, I don't think I'm won't let I don't think I'm good with everything I think um in life. I just think it's about doing you when you when you, Yeah, I think you gotta let ship go though envy it just like everything because everything I keep it work. I keep it a hunting
with you. You know. You know the reason why that even thirty thousand never even came up. We just be honest with you because I never said that just to give the background. I don't even know that had got into it. And I felt like Clue because Clue is my nigger, and I don't I don't ever want to you know what I'm saying. I'm like, I'm saying that sincerely, because you know, when you was on the Clue tape after time, who had to be number one too, three four five? If you ain't one two, three four five
kind of it didn't really matter. Sometimes you can make it to the top ten. Very likely you won't. So I had a single. It was with job Rule Rule live next door to me at the time I got the five Honey bns. He got the may Back, I got the drop Lexis, he got the drop Sas. I got the big Hummer. He got the Hummers. I'm like, damn, John, you get a lot of money. Like I'm glad, I'm gold and I'm living next to you. I mean cool,
we do a record together. I give it the clue first, I say, clue, I need Ain't that top five spot got you? Nigger just sent it to me. Give clue to record. Clue put me number twenty one. Damn. So when that happened, I said, damn, it's whole so and that's a mid album, your album, and you're hitting me. I'm like, because I'm thinking it's a joke from the beginning anyway, Like why has envy hitting me? Like the clowning you like they're clowning you know, I'm about this
ship on clue. He just shipped it on me. You understand something like that. It was this, This is breadful. I don't I don't even Maybe I'm exage right, but I'm telling you what number five one, top five don't like slib Clue said, man see me on the street. He told you that. Yeah, ain't noticed. Clue told me see me on the street. I said, damn, lie, there's two way pages, Damn lie, because I'm a good nigger. No, I don't know. And then when Envy hit me, I'm like,
this is funny business right now. Same team because that's the same team. You didn't know. I never jumped out the window. I never flipped on none of us. I never got Hollywood on you. I never did that. I'm at powering on five. I'm at the breakfast club. Clue was the first you just established. It was the first person that came to Why would I blow that up? Why would I say that? You know what I'm saying. Why would I do that? But that was the reason. Like when you actually hit me, I was like, damn,
I think they're playing. So that's the reason why that number came. I got you. Yeah, So so that's what it at. My mad at Clue. Hell though I love Clue. Please let it go, Envy, please let it go. It's been let go. Man. You were brought it out, Nori because we needed you to play. You understand, and because you know what and you the things you did for me. I can never pay you back, like literally, like I know that you physically came to me, I was like, what would I go out there? I'll come get you.
That was real ship. So I really did appreciate that. But at the end of the day, when you know, it was a certain situation and I still ain't saying the situation that happened. But when I felt like Clue violated me, asked my brother, Clue, I have no problem with you. But that was then, and I'm just that's my brother. The only reason I asked my brother too, I think, and I said that about you. I said, if it wasn't for DJ nvyment might be not being an r E. And it's if it wasn't for DJ Clue,
they went't being r E. But what happened. But what happened was that was it? That was my only problem. It was like, damn please, like this is deaf jam I'm on I'm on that line and J Rule lives next star to me, this is my single. I'm giving it to you first. I'm not giving it to this guy. I'm not giving it to this guy. I'm not giving it to that guy. I'm giving it to Slim. That Clue tape mattered. If you ain't top ten, get the funk out of here. It's a B side. You're the
B side. I don't know if y'all know what a fucking B side means. Stream and and clue and the clue. You know that meant it meant the world to me. And it's the first time you hear this. No, no, okay, but nobody knows. I never understood that. We just let that out into that, you know, because it was dope on the brothers. A lot of money. No it was not. That wasn't he was getting that. But that's a lot of come on, that's a lot of Let me let
me Webber Nitty for making that thing happen. You know me clue, we parted, bract everything back together, animal, bigger, bigger, everybody, big up, five eight studs everybody you know. Murder Unit, Yeah, squashed, it was squashed. Desert Store still a thing like as a company or in crewe. Yeah, well things desert Storm. That's clue. But you were part of the family. I
was signed the Desert Storm. But that that's my family, like Webb the Nitty is my nick that's my that's those my brothers like that didn't type like they here like that's why you manage your last. But like they type that they were hearing something on the radio and they'll call me be like, yo, you want me to set that up? And I'm like, no, it's not that serious. But they all my brothers, so you're not a part
of it. But they still absolutely that's my family. That's why I said, me and Joe can never have beef like that. That's we started together. It's not it's moving, man, But she said, get out of here, get out of it. I'm just a kid from Queen's man, that's my it's moving. It was a co op op. What's happening with that? Um well, you know what shot the red that's my I'm gonna tell a story. I shouldn't tell the story. I'm gonna tell the story. Maybe I would say about
fifteen years ago right in Miami. In New York, it was leaving a club and Brooklyn NYGGL try to rob me. Put out the pistols, trying to rob you. Without getting into details, it was a shootout in the city. We chased him, We called him, beat him up, put him in a coma. Who cafe know me and me and the dude to try to rob a person's trying to rob you try to rob me, caught him, beat him up, caught him. This is why I don't respect stick up kids. When he woke about the coma, instead of just saying
what happened, I didn't press charges. At the time, I thought I was a streeting. I didn't press charges. And when he got out the coma, the first thing he said was and he tried to rob me. Oh, he flipped it. I come out of the radio station one day, cops out there waiting to arrest me, saying that since I didn't press charges, and he said that, they try to press charges on me. Basically said, I try to rob him. But the reason I don't funk with a lot of people is because when somebody tries to rob
you and they shoot at you, two different experience. I don't know if they shooting at me in my life. They're trying to scare me what it is. So now I'm a queen's nigger. So something happened to the queens and you called me. I can pretty much find out what happens if it's in my borrow, you know, I mean, I gotta call left Rack, I gotta call south Side, I gotta go up north Side. Can find out what happened.
So when I reached out to my people that I think I'm from Brooklyn, you know a lot of artists, a lot of people that say they down and they're tough and they street, they kind of turned it back on me. So I was hurt by that. These are the same people that I break bread with, it I hang with all the time. And Red was the only person that was a stand up guy. And that's how me A Red got cool. And there was a lot of different artists, a lot of different people that kind
of turned it back on me. And that's how my Red got cool. And from that point on, I said, just for for you being real, I'm gonna make sure I'll make you as big as possible that I can't And that's why I started promoting Red Cafe and we became friends and everything like that, and and that's how my Red got cool, and that's how we did the co op. And that's why every time Red come a record, I don't give a funk how that record sound. I don't even ask I play that immediately moving. That's that's
real ship. Because when everybody turned their back and didn't want to put their nose and the ship he made sure it was good. That's crazy to shoot us like, no, you shot at people have been cool with them after. Why what is going on? Right? I listen, I am a podcaster. I don't know. I don't know anything. He's only shooting shot to tie your bones. I don't even know anything you guys are talking about. I live a very honest life. I have a loving wife. I am
a great person. There you go. I don't know this guy you're talking about talking about. Listen, y'all talk about Superman. I am Clark Kent. Can you imagine shooting at somebody and then being cool with him after as long as your I don't know. I don't know why I have this conversation keeps turning on me like I say you
feels like thank you? You know what? It's crazy, you know envy us that when I announced that we're just having you on, people think that we had like we had like have beef, Like I don't have your envy man, in case I never told you. Man, I really appreciate you know, I appreciate it. Keep appreciated Angela. You know one time I said, man, these things that nobody are gonna play my music as I will always play your music.
I love people, but listen, I got just play one thing because Dolori noris me all the time and a lot of people hit me all the time. The Breakfast Club syndicated about sixty seventy markets were just trying to do a podcast. We work card we work hard. So when people send me music and send me records, they different markets expect me to play the hits. People going to work in the morning. They want to hit the pits.
So like I tell Nori, I tell any artists that send me a record, I will play your record, but I need some support, meaning I can't be the only neck out there playing your record. I need other people to play. So a lot of people don't want to invest in themselves and say, Okay, I'm gonna make sure that I got radio people like Shampool. Wherever Shampoo is pushing the record, I'm gonna make you deserve he left shout out. I'm gonna make sure his records neither right.
I'm gonna make sure people are actually working the record. So I can't play a record that nobody else is. It's not one city playing record. I'm different now. Now I'm different I'm gonna come on, I'm gonna listen. I got, I got, I got, I got a future record. I'm not even records. How are you like us? Do? God, that's the old Justice League. They know what we got, the Big of Justice League. I gotta this is my first time. I got like a little stash. What the producers?
I never worked with? So yeah, Big of Justice League. I don't know what we're gonna call it. I want to see this firm reunion? Can you firm reunion? I would love that. Queens too, you've been talking about. I don't think no that has happened. I tried. I try to do a Queen's I try to do a Queen's birthday part. I'll try to get Nas fifty. Nori seeing it going to happen, Nori said, yes, Capone, I couldn't get Mob, but I couldn't get Nas. I thought that
would be dope. Just for a Queens is out here tomorrow. We're going to go to his dinner and Prodigy's out here, so we're gonna try to get previously issues with people and he's good. Now go to dinners as media man. Just for anybody want to get it missed to school because maybe I didn't take it too far with certain people and certain things. But at the end of the day, like we've grown, man, Like what the fund is wrong with you? Like the Havoc ship was beautiful when the
Havoc is Havoc is a fucking man. That was respect Havoc. I love that guy. The way he came out here. He stood in front of us, he smoked her stand up. He didn't like motherfucker happen. Like you know what I'm saying. I think more Havocs for the Prodigy. I try and listen. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I don't know what. I don't even want to do that everything because he got mad, you kept saying. He he called me, he texted me. He was mad
about that. I think me and peace good now. But you know what I want to I want to announce on this podcast that anywhere that's another baby, no no more babies. Shower, baby shower. But after what you don't write me your baby showers because a miambie. Yeah, but if he hadn't hit me like next coming, I'm not having no more babies. I can fly. I'm doing an album. I'm doing that. I'm not you're you're I'm not gonna charge you. I'm doing an album. Nothing the name of
the album. You want to che just a kid from Queens, that's the name of the album. I mean even with three food, that's where you're three four songs done already and hopefully the top of the Yeah. I just I just announced this is like I haven't done an album like fifteen years. So I'm doing an album. Excited about it. I'm working hall and you're doing a podcast too. Yeah, I'm doing a podcast to start with us. Man starts

But when I said I sit on the wood. It's what happened anywhere to direct you right now up the Tito in five. He's absolutely in love with you. Against look at that spilt it and cought it. Did you see that? That's skilled? Yeah, that was you. You're like Twin. You
on the fucking phone, get some kind of fun. He just puts, we're gonna do to go fund me, Twin We're we're trying to go fund me. Twin no fund me. This nigga is my favorite broke nigga. But I told him, listen. When it's great to be bro dick on the craft table, the ship is hard. Don't listen to him. Get listen, man. Man. The only people in the world that are miserable with people who don't travel. You can have nothing and travel. You can have everything. You can backpack. You gotta you
gotta understand. Look, somebody came today and they said, oh my god, the tree has burgundy in it. I'm saying I see that every day. You boo. I don't know what. Let me just tell your story about my nigga shampoo. Shampoo, come over here, shampoo. You set yourself up forgot about that. Listen, this is one nigger. Shampool has a different kind of cut from everyone I know. It's actually somewhere look like or my little a little bit, a little bit. So listen,
we're in Memphis, right, I'm on tour. I'm on tour right, so I see shampoo. Shampoo does the casa blanca. We're in Memphis. You know what casa blanca. It's when you kiss a girl. That's that spanning ship to stick. Let's beautiful. I'm like, I'm like, shampool, let's leave. Shampoo goes, No, you got some birthday. I'm gonna stay with her. I just met her in the bar. That's not the shampool. We're in Memphis, in Memphis on main Street, I'm on point.
Tell shampool, let's go. Shampool say slime. I'm okay. I gave what the puppy shampoo. I'm okay. I go to the room for to sleep. This excide knocks on my door in the morning, cold, big, I'm cold, colder, and now some my door in the morning is like, yo, you don't know what pops is. I'm like, oh, I'm like, damn, I don't know. I don't know what the relations you know, I know I know, but I like, am I a boss? Just tell him that poster smashes something else. So I'm like, street, still,
this is Memphis, al right, cotto Rican on Memphis. So I say, I don't. Now look at my phone. Nick, I got the weirdest text messages ever. Yo yo yo, I make cups. This is illegally to kiss white girls in Memphis. It is so happened. Was just to be clear, you know. Nor It was like, yo, Pool, let's go. I'm like, nah, you know Memphis, We're going hand We hit what Willies, we took over fifty, took over what Willies. We're going ham We were ball hopping, bom bom bog.
I mean the girls. She's like, it's my birthday. I'm like, were buying oysters because it was the Oyster spont everybody. We're going Hamton credit card. No, it's Shampoo's credit card, time credit card. Because the deal was then the deal was like was in the beending. This is right there, You're right, You're deal with North was like, yo, Pool, I need somebody to drive for you for me. I said, I'll drive if you let Conan open up for you. Feel deal fly out of Texas we go, he picks
us up. I take over the wheels in the driving win. We're hit in every city. We're doing great. Everything's fantastic. We get the Memphis Jonathan Volta, I'm dancing. I'm dancing. Everybody gun yes me the white girls. She's fucking fantastic, fantastic. I never met a guy from New York. I am there. I'm the guy and waking from New York. So we're kissing. They're like, yo, we have some like now, I'm good. First off, you see, let me just stop right there,
because see, black niggas don't kids, but Puerto Rican. That's why Puerto Rican niggas win Spanish niggas because Spanish niggas that kiss you and me reaching right now when you don't continued, you're black. At that time, he's like your pool, let's go. I'm like, no, I'm good, you're sure. I'm saying good. Look when we're in Memphis, I'm saying, let's go. So what happens? They bounced? We're good, right I go. You know, she's having a good time. She starts crying.
We go outside, She's like, good time, good time. No, she's like, my safe with me I'm want to smoke. So she's starts crying like, oh my god, I've never had a great time like this is a thank you, like like this is fantastic. Who has happened? Right? So I'm shocked. I'm I'm hugging her. I'm like like, aready, I'm sucking tonight down like happening. She's white's going down. That's when you went wrong. She's not going The cops pull up, said why did you hit her? She said,
yes he did. No, she's she's shot. She's still crying like, no, you didn't hit me. Shut up, you lying, move, put the cuffs on me, search me. Of course, I got a bag of weed of absolutely slipped on. You got it. So so the cop searched me. They put the weed on on on on the cup car bomb. She's like, oh my god, oh my god, I don't know. So now I'm looking at you like, yo, fun is going on? I'm cuffed up, like what are you doing? What happens? I go through the system, I mean jail now in Memphis,
Puerto Rican and Memphis. The officer it's only me. The officers like, yo, who are you? What are you doing? It? Like I'm out here with Noriega, like Noriega from Queen's Yeah. He's like, you got money on you? Like yeah, I got fifteen on me. It's like, you want to build yourself out. I can do that right now, like please, yeah. At the same time, you don't respel deposit money, No, rebuilds me out at that time, and I'm building myself out at the same time, went gone, no, No, he
got his bread back. So but what happens I get out? I called him like, yo, I'm out here, like I know, I bailed you out. You're talking about No, I just built myself out, And he's like, what, I gotta get my money back. But the fact is Norrey was right there for your wife. You get a thank you for you. You got sid played too much, play too much. But I hate to look just case you already know. That's what I come to you. That's the Elliott Wilson train train.
And whenever we get deep into an interview is a train to come by. It's Elliott Wilson. He's for you. I gotta I gotta do what you but I gotta p first. Oh, we can do a p break. We gotta we get pree breaks all the time, all right, I need that the you're gonna stay here and once you get back on this Joe Button ship, I feel like you just want that fair one like I feel like you just wanted, like stop pressing to get that ship out the way. You're not gonna, man, You're a
good dude, stop that. She said. It's a pinion. I said, My great guys just want you to get the man. Why would you do a whole podcast about you? That's what I heard it, brother, brother. The reason why stopping frist is fucked up is because they's stopping first anybody. Let just finished. And the thing about it is when they stopping first anybody. Sometimes I could look like whatever I am, but I ain't never got nothing on me.
I live in motherfucker's sunny owls wherever I'm and if I go jog or do whatever, that's stopping that's that's that's up terrible. What was your argument with that? After what happened? I was actually again stopping frisk at first. But then when you get robbed and you and you see that the area where the pistols are coming from, the guns are coming from, and probably some one of the worst areas in Jersey. You just want to get all the guns off the street, because now I'm not
thinking about me. I'm thinking about the little seven year old girl let's walking to school. I'm not thinking about grandmother's going to church. I'm not thinking about anything but getting them guns off the street. There illegal guns. You know,
I mean, you forget about where you came from. You know, I mean, because it's a moment of almost done, you know what I mean that it could have went through that one You'll hit me in my head and my daughter would have woke up the next day like where's daddy. Daddy's dead. So you know, you get emotion, You get a moment of emotional which which is understandable. But you know, when you come down, you start talking and you realize.
But at first, well I was sucked up, like you know, but you know me, I sucked up is because if it wasn't for people like Supreme L L Cool j Nas driving through the hood, Clue driving through the hood in their cars and give me motivation. It gave me that feeling that I could make it, you know, I mean, so I do the same thing when I come to the hood in a Ferrari or Bentley or Rose Royce. Them kids come to me, they never see them type of cars, and then they look at me like, damn,
this nigga made it. He was from queens Let nigga made it so to have a coward come and try to rob me at gunpoint. So, you know, you change your views, you know, and many so I want you to continue to do what you gotta do. When you think about what you're doing and how you did it and how you doing it, so you are fucking successful. Man. I don't want you to ever stop doing that because you pulled up in the yellow obo. I didn't like that.
You know, I'm not listen. I want you to continue to continue to live your life, continue to be that that that guy that's will inspired and its world. Niggas like me that support you. I always you, and you know, I know it was it was a big miscommunication. I don't care, but I always really supported you. That's why I know every Breakfast club interview you can bring up you want to. You want to just test me. I
don't believe it. Like you hit me. You don't want one thing that I hate about our community, and I'm gonna say this, bring it up we have a disagreement or different opinions, people take it personal. It's not it's not debatable, which I hate. Let's see everything should be debata. But we should be able to have a conversation. Our community is if people feel a certain way, they'll call you all, you're fucking own all your fucking uncle Tim,
and that's whack. Like like when Dame Dash came on the show, Dame Dash had an opinion about a boss and people working for people and we went back and forth, you know, and people are like, oh, that's fucked up, or yeah, I agree, But we should be able to have that conversation because what he said wasn't wrong. He was just encouraging people to be a boss, to be a leader, to be a better person. But some people are not putting that situation. Some people can't be a boss.
They can't even interpret what Some people can't interpret it. But what he said is right to own something. What he said was right, but how he said it was a little fund up in my opinion. He says a certain way, But we should be able to have a conversation, even with people mad at Floyd Mayweather for the All Lives Matter ship and ship he said, But I'm not
mad at Floyd. Andy get dunk in today. But I'm not mad at for the reason I'm not mad at Floyd because maybe he doesn't know, Maybe he doesn't understand. Maybe he's been rich so much that he's out of that that that way of think it. So you gotta remind him. And it's not a conversation where you want to make fun of somebody. It's just a conversation because he might not understand what black lives matter and what that whole movement means. You have to know where someone's coming,
so you gotta explain it to him. Then when you explain it to him and Danny doesn't understand, then you could have that opinion. But we gotta be able to have a conversation, dialogue, dialogue it to you. Absolutely, the dialogue has to be there. Like legend. It was John Legend, and you know what it was. I had to do an event in south Side that next day. So I'm in the south Side doing an event and shout the south Side cous A lot of people don't go They
say they're out, but they don't go out. I'm out there doing things. So I'm out on South side. This lady comes up to me and she was like she was a teacher seven. She was like, teaching. They don't call the South Side anymore. They call it Jamaica Heights. Now I just wanna tell you, I'll call it whatever the Smu family out there. But the lady was like, come on. The lady was like, Mby, I heard you this morning on on a breakfast. I'm talking about stopping first.
She was like, let me have this conversation with you. All right, let's talk. She was like, the reason stop of frist don't work is because my students come to school late because when they coming to school, the cops used to stop and frisk them all the time. And now they're late. Now they miss what I'm trying to teach them because they don't have nothing they like. She was like, these kids are getting pulled over. They might
have a little weed in their their pocket. Now they're getting arrested for weed because the cops looking for guns. And then it clicked back with me, like I understand that. But these are the conversations we need to have with people, instead of embarrassing people, instead of shipping on people, instead of saying you're uncle Tom maybe people just don't understand
we need to have these conversations as a community. If you feel a way, That's why I was mad at at Joe at first, you know, because you know me, just like you know you knew me, you feel a way, called me nigga, I don't believe in this show I feel this way. I respect that more because now you're not trying to get some likes or some Instagram followers. You really care about the community, you really care what happens. I respect that more than a person trying to do
something for some fucking likes. I don't respect that, you know. That's just how I feel. Like. I think one of the most dangerous things in this medium is that when people are afraid to speak their mind because of the minority, that might backlash. And that's the thing. I'm not afraid. I'm financially secure, my family loves me, and it is what it is. But if I'm wrong, talk to me. You know, if you gotta say, you gotta be able to have this conversation without people judge you, like, oh yo,
fucking that closed. Like well, I mean, I'm using an example, maybe a bad example, like there's bipartisan or partisan one way. You gotta be able to have a conversation absolutely and maybe change our mind. Absolutely, we gotta have that conversation, and we gotta have an open mouth. It's like argument with your with your girl or your wife. The first thing you want to do is you want to be right. It doesn't matter what she says. You just want to
be fucking right. But then if you really sit back and think about it, like, yeah, I was a little sucked up, my bad baby, I was a little fucked up. You gotta be able to be like, damn, I was wrong. You know now you're not drinking that rock. You're drinking his My nigga, you're not drinking man. You convert me like you converted and we were seven. Fifty said he was gonna send us a little pendulum thing. Yeah, yo, I forgot man. You know fifty please, man, I'm drinking.
Drink the whole episode. Appreciate fifty over here because he gave us. Thank you so much again once again, can't fifty to fifty the queens on, I need salsa, I need I need Trey. Now you're same, Yeah, you're proud of him because he was like what in the nasty I think I'll put you on a nasty shop, the nasty start you got Molly Molly guy. See, but I appreciate your guys happening on the podcast. But I really did you for coming back. You can what is she doing?
Shed see what you do? I got with the bathroom and just that that's how it happened. Now it's nice. I like the time. But you know what, I just really want to thank you before you leave, because I don't want you to ever think that I have a really funning on you, because I really did. I just played the side I played it. I played streets the same way I played the industry, and a lot of times when I look back at it, that's why I always said sorry about that. I get it. I mean,
what happened. What happened, man. But you my brother, my brother, and listen, I want to keep rooting for you. I wake up almost every fucking day I listened to you. Whether I hit you or not. I support what the funk you're doing. Breakfast Club is a great fucking idea, appreciate, great blueprint for all of us and one of the things that I could never I wouldn't be here unless you guys kept accepting me. Well, how long have I've been going to Like? That was like a strategy for me.
I just go to y'all every year, once a year. You were going to time every year, sometimes a couple of times. Yeah, I mean, I mean, I mean you you're the guy, Noria, and you know the fact that you listen and what most what most artists don't understand is the relationship is better than any song. Of course, you know what I mean. You you're staying in touching. Being able to touch a person, to be able to contact a person, will be beneficial more than anything in
this world. You know what I mean to this day, you know, I mean I'm a fan of Nori, like the person as a person, as an artist, you know, I mean, like I've been trying to get him to do Body the Truck Part two for years. I love my Part two for years, Like these are my joint Youndy in the Trunk Part one video soon would be amazing. We're doing old videos. That's that's I'm doing. Um what video? Damn? I just locked it in. I'm not gonna blow it up,
but yeah, I just locked in. Oh I'm not gonna saye for telling us nothing right, body and Trump, body and truck, amazing cocaine business. Yeah, I'm yeah, I'm gonna because that's what my thing is. Like I wanna, you know, we create those moments without trying to live off for those moments, like I'm already good, Like those moments is great, Like the nightties is good. But I do accept the new generation. Yeah, and he does not. That's not true. Don't say you gotta like I don't like. No, of
course I do. Man, Yeah, he's with no. No, I don't listen. I don't know. I don't know. I don't listen exactly, say but you know, you don't know what you gotta do. It's like when people listen to certain music left you got to understand that you always it's not meant for everybody, Like Little Yahti is not my It's not what I grew up listening to. But I respect what he does. I support his music, and I play his music because my kids love his music. You
know what I mean. It's like, you know, if not, we become that disgruntled parent that you know when we go and I'm like, you listen to that hippie hoppy ship, I'm on the tip you gotta embrace all music. So I embraced the little yahdi easy, the little boy purposely hold up. I just want to know that he got to start DJA and again, tell him playing these niggas, no envy. Now he's trying to take it. Shut up, man, envy. Tell him that he got to start playing these young niggas.
You know what he DJ, you know what you do? He just played like you can't please tell us? Can't you shut the door? Please me? My whole thing with the new generation, I just want to make sure that when I hear it, I feel it's authentic, because I feel that there's so much music now, so much it's authentic to them though, That's what I'm trying to say. I don't care. I don't care what it is. If I don't have to understand it. DJ and I come from, I can tell it's got to play. This is the
thing though, right like Curry Miami dude. But to my to my experience, people all this stuff about music right here, but I can't tell you where. I can tell you what music was created, but I wasn't into that. I can't tell you about the Furious five and the Treacherous Threat that wasn't my time. But we know about them. I don't know, yeah, but you know about like body right now, I wouldn't understand because we're dug in the creating.
We knew at least we knew about them. We knew their names, you know what I mean, because when I started from there became the nineties. What I'm saying, So
they look at it the same way. They're not gonna know necessarily, and nine of course, gotta respect that, and you gotta you gotta respect you to say the only thing I care about is authenticity, as long as they're not doing it to be like because I never like going into the studio and artists be like, I'm this is my club joint, this is my down South joint, this is my New York. But it's a little different now because now they're making records for the club, you
know what I mean. I think they're just making records sometimes. You know, that's that's you know what the sad thing is. The first real word I was able to play from jay Z in the club was Kalid Keys, maybe a little bit of Paris. Because other than that, jay Z really I couldn't play me allowed me to reintroduce myself in the club. Really no, I couldn't play might be different clubs, change clothes and the ship club. I couldn't play hole in the ship club different. And that's when
the ship club culture is right. But now when I play a record, think about it, when I when I book a show and I'm booked three or four nights a week, three those like some of the strip club and the records that were. And that's why I'm so happy with Young Emmy because she has a New York. But you can also play in the ship club. And but that's why I was glad Kali did the record it hover like that because it put Cat and put Covid in a different way of hearing him because we
don't really hear hold on that. So I'm wanna say something. And I come from Miami, which is a strip club culture, and we build all records off the strip club. But should hip hop records be solely off of strip club like acknowledgement? Like positively not. But it's all in trends, you know. I mean, like you go to New York, like Common would never been the strip club record in the world. When's last time you been to New York. Then it'd been in New York club and what kind
of club was it with you people? It's only strip clubs are ram Yeah, there's no more club. People don't party in New York normal, they go to strip clubs. So you gotta make the records it sound. So where's the balance. That's what I love about it's the sad part there is no I mean, you got your you got your J Cole, you got your can' drinks, you got chill, your vic got dose people, and then you
got people that make recast. You got your designers, you got your your futures, you got your little Yadi's hell, that's what I think. We're talking save seven. It can be one way or the other, because then we lose right right. Your Sunday DBT come over here and say, you know what it's on from Haiti. You gotta do short. It's not a feedneck. Yeah, come on Sunday, dB D. You want one of mine? That's there's two dollars a bottle. I'm going angel le bottle and she left it and hey,
I can get it that for five bucks. Yeah you want to say, but you have to act like her ship. Yeah, you know? D Envy. That's my brother. We love DJ Envy. We always did love it Envy. I've never explained this to Ari, and I love I appreciate you can spending explaining that story too. Now were cleared up everything, man, absolutely, yeah, and just keep going. But the bird Man again, he's like, I gotta go to the bathroom now. I'm good. I'm good. I'm gonna go. I'm going out tonight. So that's where
are you going? What are you going? It's too tone? Birthday right to toe birthday? Hit me damn my phone tone for a little bit. To block block Warriors. They used to be block Warrior Jersey. Yeah, yeah, maybe I don't know ye gobble at school. But why did you laugh? I don't even I don't understand that this is crazy? It took it took a little crazy turn right now, that's it's a little crazy. What's good Man talking about
for everybody? Podcasts coming out? Yeah to Dominican Dominicans one Puerto Rican in one eight show to be named later next stopped me coming New York. Gotta bring the wife. You gotta come on the podcast. We'll talk to some marine relations. So now let's bring let's let's big Up me a podcast, right because so now speakers Network, the
Casey Crew. It's based on me, my family, my wife, and we're just talking about relationship, just real ship that people get an arguments with, how we deal with arguments, how we did with bullshit, how we deal with we know the bicker and the beef and and everything you know from to keep it this side again and loudspeaker, we just said that, man, you don't like if you would have called me a month before, I would have did it with you. We're not ready. If you would
have called you, we wouldn't have been ready. I wasn't ready, But yo, I felt it. I just didn't think out the blue. I was like, yo, y, I want to sign your podcast. He's like, well, you knew before he was saying that. You knew he was into the podcast, and he never said it. You never said it. I guess I just had a feeling. I just had a feeling. I was like, hey, come come back home. I'd love to do it too. That day when it said it would have been a partnership, he wasn't ship. Yeah, your
damn dash an amazing. You know it's amazing. Big up, damn Dash, big up Fat Joe, big up to Harry pick up Jack Thriller. You know the drink Champ podcast we all have. I mean, I respect him and I let a podcast. Man, Yeah, we had we hired moving things. I see you don't. You don't want another shot. I'm good. I'm good. Back to the hotel, change and the head to the club. What club are you going to? Let? Big up? The club you're going to? I think we're on the wall right the walls sits on party tonight.
You're doing anything tomorrowcause this is gonna come out early tomorrow. Tomorrow night, you're doing some more. Of course, we're broadcasting from Revote Music conference that I'm flying to Michigan to do a show that I'll be back Saturday morning. Back to my getting mad money. I got five kicks and I got five kicks kind of takes that check Envy and I just want to just be clear with the fans, because you know when we go to the breakfast club.
But you know, we always joke around, we speaking about to but Envy, even if he ain't playing my music, he supported me from the background. How does he support you without playing the music? Just I just want to know, I don't know that like in text messages. Okay, no, that envy. I want you to know you, my nigga. I love you, my nigga. I know in the beginning, and I did funk up because you know why, you
know why. Let me just tell you something. There's no manual for when you go for me making five hundred dollars a day to five hundred thousand dollars a day. No, not really, that's a lot of the same. That's a lot of money right there. But that that was the difference in the timeframe which which which we saw each other. So I did with go with Tartar. Everybody goes with Tartar.
It's cool, it's good, and we're talking. It's crazy. Get now, let's talking amout that because so but if you ever thought I'd never have a front on you, you're a great guy, my god man. And so I want to no, no, no, But I just wanted to say for a drink chance fans because they wanted to get to the bottom of the story. Now tonight we got to the bottom of the story. We love you, we love Angela, we love Charlemagne and God, we love DJ Clue Power one oh five.
I just want you don't let me before you close out, let me say one thing right, and I'm proud of you. I'm gonna tell you why the interview of me, the person that does the interviews, and people don't understand the roles when it comes to the Breakfast Club. This reason why people do what they do and how we conduct the interview, and that's why they come out the way they do. For me, I look at myself as the assistment. I ain't got to dunk it. As long as my
homie dunks that we all win. I just want to win. So sometimes when I sit black, sometimes when I sit back a little bit, if I'm gonna keep your hunting now, Sometimes when you sit back on the interview, you allow people to do what they gotta do because it comes better from certain things. But that's what we do at the Breakfast Club. We allow people to shine. It's like I know when it's Angela East time. I know when it's like that. You know I'm saying, I know when
it's um Charlotta Mage's time. But what I want to say is I called Nori earlier today and I was like, Nori, I'm gonna send you questions to ask me right, And then I thought about it. I'm like, Nori's a mother fucking journalist. I'm gonna let him ask me. Nick called me a journalist, and you asked, and you as you asked everything so at that I appreciate your respect with you. Don't try to take my mother fucker job down. No, I'm not going to start wrapping them all Envy. I
really appreciate you. I just want you to know that you guys, No, he listen with queen's things. That's what I'm saying, like a queen's hug. You want me coming at you, you come right, we can go, thank you, yo. Yeah, what was your longing visit of you? What you three? We don't have a long keep. We just we go forgever and we have to stop and take piss break, smoke breaks, eat breaks, all kind of and you gotta take one shot for the people that could say will
get off with drugs. It's just this one had not smoke at all. That's hard. Stop trying to make him do that. Man, that's me, that's that's that's that's the whole you're like, yo. When Nancy Breaking said say that the drugs, she was thinking at you Nancy, Yeah, Nancy reag you woke ahead a bit trying to yes you like that. I know, Trouble podcast. You're coming to the coup to that you ain't coming the club told the birthday block word right, whatever you want? That were I
supposed to be here? Yea. So how you like revotd Revote school. It feels like you don't know that is what it's gonna be. I'll be honest with you. The people that work Rocks just give that lighted ship out. They got nothing to do with Rock. It is the fact that I feel like a lot of people don't really get to see revote like they should. They haven't
