And it's drinks, motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper. He'sagreed, it's your boy in o R. He's a Miami hip hop pioneer. Up is d j e FN. Together they drinking up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast. And your number one sorts for drunk drink is New Year's z that it's time for drink champs, drink up mother mother? Would it good? Be? Hope? Should should be? This is your point? And O R? What up is dj e FN and crazy One drink chaps?
Ya makeup when I tell you I'm a fan of this person? Um uh numerous counts of movies, comedy legend, comedy queen, comedy icon and a sex symbol too. Just not forget that that part. And she will be out here. She got she got deals with Yanna, y'all. She outside, she's doing it. We are so so happy to have this queen in our presence and we're gonna this is how you set off a new Year. And in case you I don't know, we talked about the one, the only,
the impeccable. Who now what's going on? What's you're going on in your life right now? I mean, where do I st okaying? First of all, it's my honor to be here you guys, I am. I had been watching for a while and I think I've reached out to knowing okay in the d m s and as a great Noriega okay, okay, the great no and anyway this you know, you manifest things and they can happen if you work towards that and make your manifestation of reality. And I was like, you know, they do you do?
Dedicate this show to leg And I have not used that term myself, but that has been said about me because you're icons. But but regardless of whether it had or not, I just wanted to come here and sit in the seat and so many people little sat in and motherfucker smoking turn. I didn't have this sound pick up time when the sound was gonna pick up with Mr le left off. Thank you. So one of one of my favorite movies is I call it Donnie Burger. That's my boy? Oh god, how did you get that? Call? Um?
What what was it? You're going through? An agent? Is it out of Sundon cole in? You direct houses work? Let me remember I do believe that I had to audition that through my agency, who have been contacted by Sandlers people. You know, I guess to have me read for this part. Now, Um, I don't know what it is about me that they keep calling me for the prostitute roles and uh, you know, the sexual stuff. But because as I you know, did clearly audition, they get
the row. You knows, as you know from seeing the film, you know my titties was out hu of the move, which I didn't really know about that when I signed up. You know, I feel like I'm in this place in Hollywood where they'll say, like, you know, we need somebody to jump off this building into a Vada Jello. Who we're gonna call. We're gonna call only Davis. She ain't gonna do it. We're gonna call uh not letting know tonight. Not I know we can get to do it. We're
calling l do any fucking day. Jesus. But those those those wasn't your real breast, right, No, actually they were not, because as you also know from watching the film, I had to hang upside down on a strip of post and egg and had they been my real breast, they would have been in my mind. Okay, so they made it. They had this braw thing that they you know, they
made a cast of my breath. Then they made this brow thing like that, and then they they made they it was like this rubbery stuff and then they died into my skin tone. And you know, everybody loved it. And she Ever was playing your daughter. Yeah, was that the first time? Yes? Okay, how was she? Okay, goddamn it we outside my favorite noise. I don't know about you.
How was it your first time meeting? Well? You know, I wouldn't say at that time that zero was what you call a warm and fuzzy type shake, but you know, sometimes you have more. As I said, I wouldn't say she was all warm and fuzzy when we first met. She was certainly pleasant. You know. I'm sure I was more excited me than she would have been to meet me. You know, so you have to warm up to people,
and I think that we did that, being honest. Yeah, because we sat here on Patty La Belle's out here I saw and we asked her as anybody like ever shaded Hallever and she was like, oh man, honey, this is just one girl. And she wouldn't name it, but a girl name of Rega Franklin maybe she's talked about. Well, yeah, that's documented on that. You gotta talk about it, you can see it. But how about you. Have you ever met one of these young up and coming comedians and
they thought they were too cool for school? And you didn't, um, you know what I mean? Yes, you remember a certain time that this happened. Where was you at and what was it? How did it go down? Well, I'm uh, you know, backstage at the comedy club. And just like cocky makes me my skin feel like fingernails on a chalkboard when somebody cocky, Like, don't be cocky, you know what I mean? And I just made a particularly cocky person.
And they were um successful in their genre so to speak, so they were a hack or anything, but um, I didn't know them ship and so I just felt like, you know, there's a whole lack of respect, not just in a comedy world, but just a lack of respect period. And I think there's a chain of commander where to conduct yourself. When I used to be around Paul Mooney and when I used to be around you know, people like that, and and and and did Gregory and stuff. You know, I sort of like didn't come at them
like I know every motherfucking thing already. You know, I was like even to learn even to listen. I want to hear what they got to say. And when people don't do that, I just felt a certain type of way. But we made a man's to it and everything is fine and they stay and their motherfucker lane and I was staying okay. So so um comedy. I recently learned that, you know, because in hip hop, you know, to come out of hip hop and you don't have a hit record off top, you have to go through like a
chilling circuit. You gotta go through, you know what I mean, You gotta go through these uh a phase where you're basically working for free. Is this And I've recently learned that rappers, we didn't we didn't have it. Um, we didn't have an easy But comedians, they said that comedians might be even worse when it comes to that when you're on to come up being a comedian, it's like you'll get like five hundred dollars a night open open mics with won't even want to pay you. Is that
something you related to five dollars. Where the fund is that? Let me tell I don't know open micaels making like that. No, um, see, things have changed so much. Okay, they literally can't start making money immediately now now is it gonna sustain them? Are they going to be able to have a thirty year career where people are thirsty to be with you? That is yet to be seen. But they certainly are able to make money quicker now by social media. We there was no social media and there was no money
for long, like years. That's why I always say, I don't feel like you should do comedy unless you feel like you're gonna die if you don't do it. Because this is not no motherfucking that was the word, because there's so much, you know, or there used to be so much struggling. It wasn't nobody flying, no goddamn where we was packing up for comics to a car, driving to like Chicago and ship like this and sometimes staying for in a room you know what I mean. And
it was. But there's beauty in the struggle though, because if you look back, Noia, what you went through in the hip hop. I remember about starting, I remember MTV starting, I remember all that ship and and and video soul and and and all this ship I remember it's starting. But before that, you just had to be popular in your burrow, in your spreen, in your hood. And then the word was spread word of mouth. This nig is nice,
so we're here go see them. But this takes really funny like that because so um tiffany How, it says on the show once that she said that comedians was getting arrested before rappers, like for being launchy and being on stage and early early on, I had didn't know that. Is that something you ever went through that? Have you ever gone on stage and said some ship and they
tried to arrest you? Or since you think this record public record, I've been arrested many times from the cave, many times from anything, but not for anything I've done on the stage. But of course, if you look back at you know, beginning comedy, Lenny Bruce and you know things that used to you know, did Gregory used to say maybe sometimes there certainly were comedic arrests, um well, because comedy was around before rap clearly so. And I read somewhere you you robbed the bank? When do we
start drinking? Were drinking already drinking. I don't even know what this is, and trying to sabotage me. I don't know what drinking. What you're drinking right now, it's some lemon and some ship some ship lemon. Talk to me, goes, I don't know. I just came in to drink chaps. I don't even started drinking. I don't know. Let's get some champagne though, I would my own bottle, okay, and I got a monster cup. You gotta give her a classic cup. I like a monster Okay, Okay, we're gonna
get your that not from my champagne. N yeah, have our own bottle of champagne, you know. But your interviews. Uh, here's the thing about the show for me, Um, I like a place that looks comfortable whole, yeah, and where you can talk reckless if you need to. And that's the way you really talk, you know, not putting on air, and to express yourself and in places Scott Liquor and um something to slow and you sit around time because see, tables like us are usually reserved for the guys. It's
always a guy thing. But you know, to be a female to be able to come to this table. And I saw you have Patty. I'm like, they're they're progressing because it used to be just guy. We've always wanted to women. But I okay, but let me tell you about the drunk in this episode Melissa for a money left. I just seen a list award. This is, by the way, Joe Biden, hilarious, my other favorite drunken episode. This motherfucker tried not to get drunk. He tried not to be COVID,
he tried everything. Shout out at the end of the shot, he had that mask. He was like, pebble, Hey, done right, right right? That are really really fun. So while you're doing Quicktom with Slim, I want you to periosity name a movie that she was in. Let's say Borat. You pronounced his name right, Yeah you did? So how do you get a call or something like that? Because that was what is what is bo right considered? Uh a comedy,
that's a spool a parody. Almost did you even know what it was when you read the script or they called you for it? No? Nope, nope. Um once again, I had an audition. Now this is fifteen years ago.
I didn't even have a car. I had to get my girlfriend give me ride to the studio, and I had seen Sasha Baron Cohen before, but only as Ali g so I hadn't seen him in his regular Sasha Baron Corn every day guy, look right, and when I would have known something if we stood up, because he's very tall, but he was sitting down when I went to the audition. When I went to audition, it was Sasha and the director Larry Child. I didn't know who.
Neither one of them was character. Larry Charles was the director. Sasha Baron Coin is bored, was encactered, but you never seen him like keep up nor because I'm wonder where, like was that like a method acting? Like when he started acting? Is that meant no? No? No? She telling us, I'm telling you what do you smell? Let me hit that we just got diamondsed it. Maybe she don't want this diamond. I know what's proving slanking. I'll be like
not again. I'm very weird about pre rolls anyway, but okay, okay, it's organic, all right. You go to the audition. So I go to you audition, and before I got to audition, you have an idea of what they want you to do. And the audition breakdown was that you need to be able to play Oh thank you baby, get me a white girl to your nig anyway, but I'm beginning to get it. I think I get it. I wasn't ready.
So when I was so they said that this was somebody that they wanted to be able to like fabricate a story about being a hooker at a fancy Genner party. That's what they want. Well, I know how to you know, tell stories and stuff like this, So I said, okay, they said, and where some attire dressed like a hooker. I'm like, well, I just go and what I got on. So I went to the studio. I went into this room. Now this is the real, honestly, God true, this is gospel.
But I'm about to tell you. So enter the room and it was Larry Charles, Sasha, and I sort of sat next to Sasha, which this ended up being the kind of dinner party scene in the movie. This was just for that, and you know, he was like, okay, just you know, tell me up some wild story. And like you're a hooker and you had a fancy dinner party and you want to shock the guests and just
tell a story. I was like, okay, you know, I just ran off to my you know, I was this guy and he was looking my ass and that over and all this ship. Right, they did that. They laughed like they did that, and then so I don't know, some more conversation came, but I know at one point I took Sasha's hand and I took his finger and I sucked at like that, you want to see me do it again. We're gonna put that in slow mode. And the next thing, you know, I got the part.
I mean, go figure. But if you knew what the German folk the Sasha was, you would know that that was really shocking to him. And now looking back and cover the ship, I'm like, why do I think this fucking finger? So as you as you're feeling it, right, A lot of people say when they're making music or they're making albums, are making a great movie. They know they're making a great movie. This isn't like this is like a parody, but it's pushing the comedy because he's
doing things that's a little crazy with the guy. And then on throngs and people don't know, right, did you know that this was going to be like here as an international classic At the top blockbuster, blockbuster? Did you have an Academy Award nominated Thanks? Wait a minute, is this a blood I don't smoke? You give him a joint? Don't endorse the back up? Sorry? Yeah, I mean I can keep it in case of emergence. Thanks. Yeah, it's got diamonds. And you think I can't handle my clearly,
clearly I can. So so okay, so okay. So so what what it was was there wasn't like a script per se, And I only knew about the the stuff that I filmed when I saw the movie at the premiere for the first time that I saw all the as crazy ship that had to do with the movie. But what the movie is really about, it's what people racist assis say when they think nobody's looking, even when there's a camera in their fu faith, everybody wants to be on TV, and so at least people signed releases.
If you didn't sign a release, they just didn't use you in the film. But they knew was some kind of documentary. And then they got all piste off when the movie came out and who got the suit? Hey bitch, we're not some fictitious character. You can't sue a fictitious character, and I guarantee you ain't got the money to go up against his motherfucking movie production. Vin, sit down and shut the funk up. Racist assid is busting, and that's what it is. Now your friends know, Oh that's right,
they're racists too. So some of you you under the question that some of these people did not know that this was a joke. Most of the people didn't know. Nobody knew, no, no body no. The second film. When he came up with the second well, yeah, but we're not talking about that. I'm not in that about that. But that's when I heard people complain about it. Well yeah, but kind of Cavin's already out of the best the first one, noble nobody, Oh no, and then look how
genius he is. You know, there's a scene in the movie where he takes a dump in front of Trump Tower before before Yeah, that was pretty profect. Not what are my busts to do with this? Rubbed my motherfucking days, stop firing, don't you like? I like it for you, But if you would have rubbed you like to start fire, that would have been interesting. And I don't like these guys is ones. I used to smoke crack with Okay, okay, hold on, hold on, we gotta go back to you,
gotta go back to the bank. Bank rock. Oh that so many crimes coming to, so many crimes? Are we talking about the bank? The bank that I think that was re market You said you didn't use the gun because you worked at the bank, you didn't use the guard. I didn't need a gun. I had titties. That's how I committed my crime with my titties. So what did
you do? Help somebody? Listen. Now, I was in the bar, I took the money and put it in my titties and continued to work the rest of the day and walked out the dough with fifty racks and my brother. And this is before they had cameras. They might have had cameras, but they didn't have none on me. And
you never got co infredible. Sure I got caught. I went to went to jail, but went no. Okay, listen, don't pity me because I had a good run because I took fifty thou dollars and this is all, you know, documented, and I've done my time, and I up, you know, restitution all that ship, so I can talk about what I wanted to specifics to do with me. So the reason I took the money in the first place, and I've spoken about this before, but the reason I took the money in the first place because I had been
working in banks for years. I knew what a good bank was and what a failing bank was, and I knew this bank was on this way out. Also the teller, I was a tell, but I knew everything in the bank, new accounts and bookkeeping and all this. Ship still do but because I was a teller. The tellers are the greeters of the customers. The tellers are what make the
motherfucker want to even bank there. You'd be a back teller and run people money out, or you can be a nice seller and they want to come there and do everything. So being that we having said that, when you worked two weeks and you get a paycheck that is so incredibly small, yet right over there it's little. Now, you don't go into vault by yourself. But the bit turned and I just was mad, and I took the money,
especially knowing that they was gonna go out there. So of course you know later audience this, that and the other, and they jammed me up, and I coped and said, yeah, I did it. I did it. So I went to jail that day, but I was able to get out of my o R because I didn't have no prior that day could find and um I went home and they said, okay, when you come back for this court day, we're going to sentence you. But I didn't come back for that court day. Yeah, I went back to Oakland.
You even on the run in Oakland. That's where I was from. Okay, I think from Arkansas, born there from Oakland from and I lived in the crunsh'all district. I'm freaking right, So when what happened? Okay, if you take under a certain amount of money, it's a felony. If you take over a certain amount of money. No, if you take under a certain amount money, it's a misdemeanor of have you take over a certain amount of money,
it's a felony. I had taken the felony amount, right, had I not taking that much money, it was over ten years before they even caught me, so statute of limitation would have got away with that. But because I took the felony amount of money, there's no UH aspiration on when you know all you motherfucker's know what I'm there. I'm saying, you know, there's no aspiration date on a felon. You can get arrested eighty seven years old from felon
you did, you know when you're twenty two. So when I went back to Hogan, I was scared because her name was in the paper all the time because I was doing comedy stale and I was really popular, and I'm like this mothercker's donna get me. But what happened was I had a fucking baby. I had a baby, and uh, when you when I applied for Wick and and all this stuff, and when I applied for WE, the social Security numbers crossed. You went into the system. There.
I was just trying to get the milk in the milk. So they came to my door and they, you know, knocked on door. I heard him. I jumped out the window the whole ship and my girlfriend was there and she had the baby. It was gangster. I ran around the building in my pajamas that they got me on the other side and I went dead four months in the eighteen days on a year thing. Because right here to do it right now, and that that figures now what is that? Ten Like, I wouldn't do it again,
but it was kind of worth it. And I mean because I got away with it for so long. And you don't have to give back that money, did you. I mean I had to pay restitution, but gee, how do you pay restitution to a bank that don't exist no more? Oh? What's the name of this bank? I'm just curious? Um it was? I think it was a Security Pacific? Was Security Open? I think we're Security Pacific on Ocean and Long Beach. I think that's what it was. They don't exist no more. So I can talk about
that holy ship. You gotta write a script about that and make a movie. Well, they're doing a documentary on me actually, because my life I got a whole bunch. That's just a day in the life of Lunelle Ship. Every time I walk out to door and some ship. My my niece used to say, I'm til you can't just go to the story and come back. It's always gotta read some ship. And I have, you know, happy happy moments and tragic traffic on and but it is
definitely a story. Is the story of perseverance and redemption and dedication and and and dog it, motherfucking you know, I know what i want, and I've been knowing what i want, and I still know what I want one and I'm gonna I'm gonna die trying to get what I want. And that's it. Let's talk about your experience or coming to America too. NORMI. You know, I feel like you're just reading these questions off of something, because I think what I said was, I said, these motherfucker's
this is not I'm a comedian there hip hop. They don't We're not in the same. I said, no, they don't know nothing about me, nothing because you got a quick time with next because because I'm like, you know, you can take that paper, just ask me something important, like what's my bronze eye? Something, asking something that means something. You know, coming to America's okay, coming to America. What I will say is this A lot of people talk about coming to America. They thought it should have been
the funnier. You know, I had a lot of comedial that was my ship. I had an argument with Charlemagne about it. Charlemagne kept saying that it's sucked, and I had to actually calibate station or went to the radio station, and I defended it. That's the turn on. No, you are motherfucker up. And to me, that was full black excellence. To me, that was hall them nights again. You know what I mean? To me, this is how I felt as a girl from Arkansas Villa, Oakland Villa, the Crenshaw District.
Who's about to be in the sequel. It was one of the most iconic black films for the culture. Right. Um, First of all, it was my second Eddie Murphy movie back to back, So you already couldn't tell me ship. I had already done dolar mine that's gonna do. I'm like, and I thank you, Beaches. I'm in too, Eddie Murphy movie man back and so you know there's you can always pick apart whatever. I think that the storyline was clever.
I think that we're blessed to have so many of them still be alive, looking good and am able to come back. I love that they paid on mister Matt Sinclair who was the there and they put a clip in there. I think that the uh Ruth Carter who did the wardrobe is the only black woman to win the Oscar for wardrobe and been styling Eddie and filming personally for years and years she was a goat. To
be styled by her was amazing. To come onto the lot every day that was owned by a black man, Tyler Perry when it used to be a military base and like a Confederate type military base, anybody hold ship. And to come to work there and see Tyler Perry Studios, you know, huh huh uh huh. And then to come onto the lot and to go pass these sound stages to say o C. Davis and Ruby d Sydney, Foyd Gay Whoopy, go for Oprah Winfrey, you know, all these
sci every day. To see that every day was empowering as you think, think about how many movies Hollyberry I'm made for Hollywood. They're not a sound stage with her motherfucking name on it. So shout out to Tyler Perfin giving the flowers, like what y'all do. And then to to see all these people dressing African guarb every day, beautiful ship from the head to the makeup to the outfits to everything, and and it's just it was amazing.
And then yeah, I'm paling around with Rick while I'm sending ship and I'm sitting here and Eddie and I'm sorry had leaning on that. She co funk what nobody thought about that. I wanted the people. First of all, I'm so connected to coming to America because the first one I always told you, I ride my bike to the set, couldn't get on set, couldnt get a picture with Eddie, can get a picture with nobody. But still wasn't mad. Still was sitting there watching magic happen. Obviously
are you watching film? Yeah, the block that McDonald's switch on Queens Boulevard for those that don't know, right next to up May season An. That's where she's still from. You know what I mean? Um, And I used to go up there right my bike and I would go to the set almost every day. And if you look at the movie, they actually saw showed my hood. They showed left. Remember when they're throwing the ship out the thing. If you look to the right, that's left Rack. Was like,
he's throwing the ship out. My god, motherfucker's that's the building this left Wrack right there and it's like, good morning, My day was like fuck you. He's like yeah you like so. I was one of the people that was adamant about this this remake. I was you know a little mad that it happened twenty years later, but I was still you know, I think it happened, and I think that I think that it got so short because
they had to get released during COVID. You know, we would have had one of the most massive Delicious premiers in Zebras and Giraffe and we got jimped out of all that had Yeah, we got fired. Was it released on Lord and now we had Yeah, we had to do virtual premier and they send us all a bond said, we all, I'm box at the same time like that. You wanted to be up and down the street with the dam and all that, But we got funked out of that Amazon. Um it was amazz Yeah, I forget.
I believe believe it was Amazon. It was exclusive though exclusive. Just I loved it. I enjoyed it. Thanks that went to the prevail when they had it. Our heir with was in New York wherever they had no No, I did not. They gave me the living for your you mean for the with the with the ship on it, like this is for you, look like if you boot leg just motherfucker's right right right right, had the watermark like fair They just did with Fair. Yeah, let's get
some more Champigne. You need some champaig and then we're gonna start a quick time with Slime. Okay, okay, all right now, this is a game Quick Time with Slime. We're gonna give you two choices. You could be politically corrected answer and you have to drink, or you can you can pick one one and we're taking from they both are neither? Yes, please, I'm not only too. You don't pick one, we're drinking and we drink. What you
but let me get a rule. Damn choices. If you don't pick one, if you don't pick one, we're drinking. So if you say both are neither, we're drinking. It's not like we're drinking anyway. But you might pick one. You might pick one. You might time. It's not the champagne. We're gonna do shots, you guys, Juan of you like no, you don't want no, uh rock, it's refreshing, delon, you want the Deli drinking this? First of all, let me tell you something else. I think it's funny. This is
what's so funny. Everybody comes on this motherfucking says I'm not getting drunk. They're not doing it to me, I'm already knowing that I'm not gonna win that. But I think the funniest thing to me is to watch the slow progression of the person. I'm telling you, motherfucker master, oh my godmother, and I don't want to be right. Then later he shot talking like this, right, came like this and like the bull, and I'll tell you something funnier than that. For all made this is right smack
dead in the mineral COVID. We all made all of us take a test. Yeah. Then the motherfucker walked in here and sat down. He didn't even take We're like, motherfucker, you can be you can I think the blood test? Blood test? Yes, okay that wait wait wait, I'm good. Okay, thank you? Are you ready? Okay? Red Fox or Richard Pryor to do what like what whatever in your mind? I'll see I don't play for you, ain't it? Okay? Richard Prior, Okay, okay, Tupac or DMX pop okay, Eddie
Murphy or Martin Lawrence, Eddie she picking away. I wass get drunk. I'm not getting drink, okay, Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle Chappelle, Monique or Wanda Slikes taking a shot, take a shot for women empowerment. Okay, m hm. And you can't be like Steve what his name? Steve, Steve a Smith out here putting the sisters against each other. I don't play that game. Gotta ask you about how
about that? That's the next question. Rihanna or Beyonce for me? Rihanna? Okay, puff Daddy or Dr dre go ahead, you do that next one. Tiffany Harris or Leslie Jones, prow me another dream? Oh ship? I like that? I like who that? Ma? Ma Juna is like Bernie mac or Robert Harris, Robin okay, Laura Hill or ms Elliott, missy Okay, I'm burping, might father to be burping. You can do whatever you want. Believe me, you would rather me burn okay. H Adam
Sandler or Sasha Barry Car where you go? Oh um? Adam? Okay? Because the check was big, I'm saying no, I did more movies with Adams, No shame Sasha? How Fox with you for real? Oh yeah? M hm? Okay. Snoop Dogg or fifty cents Snoop coming to America too? Or Hall them nights, Hollom nice more more iconic stars around all the Knights. Okay, Kevin Harp or Chris Tucker, Chris, Okay,
you're gonna take a shot taking a cool solo. I feel like there's some I'm so glad I had that Taco oh Man MC light or cream Latifa oh Man? Wait a mine shot? Shot? Shot? Shot? Where going through that part of the show, right, MC light? Queen La Titha worried that you know, I got a story about this shot. Okay, what's the story? We need to hear it. I was in a club in Inglewood called Savoy Inglewood, California, not Inglewood, New Jersey. No Inglewood? Is that Inglewood? That Inglewood? Right?
So this guy was talking ship to me and I was feeling myself and he's like, let me buy you a drink. I said, nigger, you can't afford to buy what I drink. And he said, what are you drinking? I said, Crown Royal? And then motherfucker said to the bartender give her ten shots to Crown. I said that ain't ship, motherfucker the first look. Now, just when I was starting to like it's on the saven time, that's what I say about mentioned up turn on? Okay, So
so the guy gets tim fucking shots. We're at the bar, right, So I drink the first shot in my my bam, nothing boom. I pick up just a seconde bamn, pick up to third? Work hot in here? Fourth? How many more is it left? Fine? M oh? Can I have some water? Maybe six? See how that fell out? That's what just about happened to me. I took number six and then everything went dark. I think I drank it too fast, like you're trying to do to me. Oh, but now I'm wilde a little bit to sabotage. She
quick too, okay, asked me something else? Okay, go ahead. Did you pick em ladder? Queen Lativa? And we thought that story has something to do it. I was about to dream it was about the drink. It was about Queenland people, Okay, okay, keep up, alright, alright, So okay, yeah you didn't pick I think you think I was trying to actually distract it. You got us, okay, the queen lie we went with queen? Okay, all right? Now
I love motherfucker empty light, all right? Or Robert Williams, oh wow, George Carlin, Okay, so Cat Williams or d L. Hughley at Williams, I love you, Jal, but got got everybody know Cat for me, Steve Harvey or Centric the entertainer. Oh my god, taking a shot. You just got a little one, right shot? Because I don't I don't. I don't really fun with neither one. No, I need that fun with me. Let's take the shot. And I got a question. It's a few. If you pick neither, you
gotta drink too. Who made hold on? And by the way, audience, this is what they don't take drink. Tell's got a lot of drinks here, and they have some really good weat. They got a motherfucking thing to eat. Now, I think that's sabotag. How are you gonna get somebody drunk? You know they'll damnitly eat the copping off the fucking floor. You can ask the motherfucking hot cheet though or something in this bit noriy. That's what they don't tell you.
But I'm here to tell you because I'm a truth teller. Luckily I asked somebody I have food, But go ahead, No, you don't know. Let's discuss these snacks. Why the fund did y'all don't have a box a little you can get a variety pack to cott your mom used to put on top of frigerator, so you can reach a little, a little something for about it. Sometimes we got food here sometimes sometimes let me tell you something about the next time I come to this one of the day,
No problem, I ain't on my own. I'm not hungry. You guys forgot someone with Jim Carey. Alright, Lenny Bruce and my caps Letty Bruce Friday or next Friday, Friday. And then it's the last question with this, with this, with this segment of this segment of the show. So you ain't gonna take shots no more if you don't want to. But everyone things a trick question, e FN don't and things. It's kind of simple. Some some people answer this complicated. It's totally up to you teach his
own loyalty or respect respect quickly quickly. If you have respect, you're gonna get the loyalty. Okay, you know what, you didn't have to drink, but I'm gonna drink to that because that was a great hand. I don't care grant because I'm just kind of until I feel like it again. Okay, So so many people you know, always say how hard it is uh to maintain in this game, and then a lot of people say how hard it is for
black woman to be in this game. Do you feel like it's it's it's it's harder being a black woman, or it's something that could um, because right now I just read a statement that they said the most intelligent people in the US is black woman. Yeah, Trevor Noa told you that a couple of weeks ago. Oh no, I read it on Instagram and you should have known it. Anyway, everybody should know that. Um, I mean being a woman in any sport, career, choice or anything bush out. Um.
But that can't be the excuse. So it could be, it could be the reason, but don't let it be the excuse. UM. I've been in this game for thirty years and I've never UM I think that. But was I see for comedians is to me, the um you have to be the continent continuity is is what gets you the notoriety and stuff. You have to be good all the time, not most of the time, not some
of the time, not on average. You have to slay all the time, and that's what's gonna get people to talking about you, and you know, you have to be able to be relatable to all types of audiences. You know, I could, I believe and what I've been told, I could kill audience and not just Mississippi as well as I could kill an audience that the Jewish, you know, Liberation Foundation, Gala. You know, because the things that you talk about should be universal to everybody, because everybody wants
to come and laugh. You know, if the world could be like inside a comedy club or a cruise ship, because everybody puts all the racism aside when it comes to a comedy club. You could have a Arian Nation brotherhood, white man sitting next to a Muslim in a comedy club, right, And so that that's why I just feel like the comedy should relate to everybody. But isn't that changing though, isn't like cancel cultures sort of say, changing that dynamic?
I don't my question, that's crazy you said that. I don't. I don't. You don't care about cancel car like it doesn't exist to you. Well, sure you can if you do something raptured enough for up, ugh, you can be canceled. Yester like that, mommy, But yess it like that. But I think that if your heart is in the right place, you've been doing the work, and the people see the struggle and you're for the people and the people are
for you, that just stay in your mind. I've always had a rep you know, if I came out, if I was like, what are the oldsan Twins or something, and I started talking to all radical, that would shock people. But I've been this way all my life, so nobody is surprised that the ship to come out of my mouth or the things that I do are the places I turned up and the ship causes I get behind
because I've been the same way continuously. My friends would tell you, you know, like some people were talking the other day how some people have um alter ego, like Yonce has Sasha fears and you know, and you know Mariah's got her lambs and all this, But I'm the same way, Like this is me. There's no I'm going
on drink Champs. I'm gonna be like this, There's no I'm going to the e T. It was I being like, I'm like the same way all the time, and um, I think that I connect with with with people, you know, just regular people. If this isn't in your heart. Just like rap I think that rappers are so fucking intelligent because your mind is thinking about what you're gonna say
before you say it. Like if you're battling somebody and you're listening to them, you're already thinking about the response in your head before they've even finished talking to you. That's the mind I believe of a rapper, right. Comedians pretty much the same. Yeah, Like, if you're saying some shitty ship to me, I already know what I'm gonna say back to you. But what about the idea that people now they go back into people's old sketches and
bits and it doesn't age well for whatever reason. Oh, I don't know, because I don't you know, i'd give a funk about any of that. I don't know. I don't deal with that. I just, you know, do what I do and of what I'm doing, and that's it. And if if I cared, that would make me stop being who. That's why I don't even watch my Ship. I haven't watch That's My Boy, but maybe try something like I can't. I tried to watch bor At about a month ago. I got five minutes and I'm i
can't do it. This ship is Yeah, I watch the ship I do. I wouldn't do it no more. I would cringe. So I just have to go forward. And just so, does your does your does your your writing process or your um comedic skits? Does it change because of cancel culture? Do you think about what I don't do skits? I don't have the opportunity. I would like to do skins. Guys like doing little plays, but I don't you know, I don't have the opportunity right now.
Some people asking me, I don't have time. And so right now Netflix come to USA, we want you to sketch comedy. You don't give a fuck. No, I mean I would do sketch comedy. I'll do any of that ship enterprises. But I'm just saying that. And I don't write either. That's another thing. I write down bullet points and then I just riffed, just like if you're a rapping in comedy. No, but I already know what made
it funny to me. So that's why I don't have to like memorize the script, because it's what really happened. I can recall it. You know, I'm in my mind. Okay, So let's suppose you you you had a family picking it your your gay cousin makes a funny joke about, you know, eating a Glizzie, right, and you take this material you say, man like that was that was the gay cousin and he kind of killed that and he
knows what he knows he was being funny. But do you take that material and then do you use it knowing that you know everyone in your family is gonna get the joke everyone, but there's be somebody be are you talking about? No? I don't even understand what So I got him confused? You know what? Like like, because you might offend somebody in that community by having a joke about someone that you and your cousin always joke up. What about is it something like that that you My
family is funnier than me. My family we are what we like to call shitty funny. We're like, if you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen. Like we say funked up ship all the time. The time we say funked up ship to each other about each other and all that ship. And you can either spend your time getting piste off or you know, laugh about this ship and say something fucked up back. You know, that's where I get this ship from. I mean, my family is funny with a very sharp tongue. Well, okay, I
have seven brothers and sisters. I would say that three of them are not as vocally ambracive the rest of us. But the rest of us are downright, like in Celtic hurtful ship. So Thanksgiving as different. Oh no, it's not the Thanksgiving for my family. It's the family reunion. Yeah, it's the old family family barbecue. Yes, the fish fried barbecue. Lots of liquor because from Arkansas, everybody, Okay, where I'm at from toltt Arkansas is a dry county, so you
have to go out of the county. I'm about to go to Arkansas's dry. That's where I'm going this weekend. Dry means that means it doesn't mean dry. They don't alcoholic Sunday. Yeah, Bensamville, I'm going. I don't know why you're going wrong. No, it's a it's a film. My boy's doing a film over. There had to be a very good reason, a vacation destination. But but so saying all that to say that everybody's got a truck or a van, in that truck or van. Is what cooler?
What's what? Your beer and your liquor and your mix. Every car is a rolling motherfucking bar because and then there's the bootleg guy who's got all the points and ship and they were Bill Clinton was getting it in or that's where he was from to he was, you know what it is, he was a governor Arkansas. I think let me find out you and Bill got history with each other. Monica Lewinsky, Oh my god, how did
you feel like that? Stephen a recently said, Um, he was like he was trying to say that, you know, Yana is dope, but he was the way he said it. He said, you know, she's no Beyonce, And it felt like to two people that we honest, not trying to be beyond say, I think everyone knows that you do. What did you What did you think when you read that headline that Stephen they did that, and everyone saying they're always trying to put the sisters against each other?
What did you think? Oh my god? At first I don't even pay attention to stephen A. Smith number one, but um, when I the glimpse of the things I have heard him say, I think that they took it out of context. You know, he's a cocky motherfucker. Cocky motherfucker's sometimes say ship to sounds cocky because their motherfucker's. That's what makes cocky motherfucker, That's what it is. So you know they lovel to say any goddamn thing then
have to read track. You know, I rarely have to backpedal because I stand pretty much tin toes down and everything I've said, But sometimes you have to be like, you know, I didn't really mean like that, So I don't think he really meant no harm be yancey, but that be high. They give up, they give us. Why do you say, mother, mother, Yeah, they're trying to get him firing and everything. God mother, I know lot to be high, have you got? But but this was this
was the Rihanna Finty gang too. That when he got double dosed, it wasn't like he got it. Just want to be hog, don't have nothing to prove the no motherfucker Okay, shout out to Hay Sap rockets and tapping that, yeah I didn't put one up and got you got you said you ain't going to stop pulling off my club. We gotta get into the Rihanna deal. And that's exactly what I was going. Now, Where was you at when when someone approached you instead of Rihanna wants you to be?
How did that manifest itself? Because we see you manifesto, You're a manifesto. You know the phrase, it all goes down in the DM. Right, I didn't. I'm here, don't don't tell me we arena DM. No, she did, but I've gotta tell you how it happened. My friend Damien shout out to Damon. My friend Damon is a tour bus driver. He was my toy bus driver when he was on tour with Cat. He remained my friend after the Williams. Just in case people don't know who's talked
about who don't know about Calais smoke like that. It's still sucking, Okay. When I was on throw with Catt Williams, Damien was our toy bus driver. After the tour was over, he remained a toy bus driver. Huh, they sent you a brother just to get watch She watched this is they sneak up ponies never know it? Okay. So Damian continued to drive to a buses for Reba McIntyre and
other people like this. So one night, like eleven o'clock at night, he called me FaceTime and I'm like, what's up and he said, hey me and my client was just watching you on the bus. I said, well, who's your client? And Rihanna popped on the screen. I was like, I'm gonna broke my nail trying to screen shot. I got a blur. So um, I told her no, she's a comedy fan and she's a fan, was a fan of mine. Go bigger and I said, thank you so much. I said yeah, and you know, of course I love you.
And um, I said, my daughter is a very big fan of your lingerie. I said, I wish that you made it in bigger girl sizes and she said I do. I said you do? I said what hell? I wanted to be a model and I want to be linger model, and she said, let's make it happen. I mean, like Kikikiki got off the phone. I thought that was it a dream? Then she hit me in the what and she uh said what's your email? And I sent her
my email? And having contracts started coming, catalogs and stuff and you pick out, um, what you want to wear? That month and then you get it. They sent it to you, and you take pictures in and then mind you, daddy, he think a lot of things. Have you subscribed to? My only fans is now he's your only fans, you know, my only motherfucker. We don't don't don't break his spirit,
you would break myself. So um um. Now, when the ship came and I realized what I signed up for, I'm like, oh my god, I gotta really take the pictures in this ship, you know, because I mean, there wasn't no you know, no shade rainbow. But this wasn't for rainbow. This was from other fucking Rihanna. I literally wrote what they say, wrote checked that my mouth was about to have to cash. Right, you're legit gonna be
a model right now? Yeah. I had already been a model, because I had already done Penthouse April edition is April fools edition. I had to have a six page spread in Penhouse magazine. I didn't bust it up. And so I don't think you're gonna see that if you meet my pussy, you got me to face to face. Should make some noise quick hand for this story. So okay, So now you gotta take the pictures, and we found
a classy, artful way for me to take them. And the response was very very good, like oh this sisters was like ship, I'm gonna do a fucking photo spread too for my own self and I'm gonna get some of the Ludrede. A lot of people got it, and so it was did it for a couple of years. You know, I got some great photos and stuff. The pictures are great, they look great. I know I recognized you all my own the pictures. Really it's really small, but I knew it, and I imagine it was a
great chuck for you. Correct. Yeah, it was a very nice check makes noise for young. And then I got a chance to be in the Savage Finty Lingerie uh fashion show on Amazon Prime and stuff, and it was me in Paris Hilton and Willow Smith and a bunch of other um people and that was an experience because that was during COVID too, but we shot in great choreographer Paris Global and it was just a wonderful, um wonderful time too. And then you know, I did that for a couple of years. Do you not with them?
No more? No, we didn't break up or anything, but my contract conspiding. It's just as well, because I really those photo shoes take time, and plus I don't like wearing songs. It makes my vagina heard you put one on and tell me I was not I was not ready. I wasn't ready for I was not all right? Cool, Okay, there's one part of this part one part of one part of the movie. That's my boy. This was funniest part that. Yeah, when the soldier guard came in, he goes,
he goes, um, I didn't. The other guy next to him he goes, I've only seen two vaginas its whole life. And then you said, well now that was your third. Yeah, and then he said that might be four and five. How did that read when you read that scre How did that read? Like? What did you read that and be like, Okay, what I took away from them it w was you know that maybe I had exceptionally big vagina like I do. It's a very visual show. This
is the first time I thought it. I can come out here and made my motherfucker to get and a black woman. Everybody wanted not up. You're never nor the black guy. But let's yeah, shut the whole room down. Come over here. No, goddamn mother, that's really good. I saw I saw you was in the in the movie, um the Rock. Yes, what was the rule? I remember that movie? Sean Connery, right, Nicholas Cage. I just came from I just didn't do What were you doing on that? No?
I was driving by it. I mean I was using the baby Yeah, yeah, the baby bridge. I stayed in San Francisco, but I had a show. I don't know. I felt a little weird about that, like why don't want to see an ex jail with? I mean, but that's like a story. But I understand you might be trying to try. Yeah, but but yeah, what was your role? And I understand you might have been trying to try. No, I was just just, you know, just like one little speaking role. I was almost an extra. But I was
an extra. We're just speaking roll. But what they didn't know and I had it? That's I gotta listen. I got so. I gotta say it for the book. Give us something, show us, show us what well you gonna look at that? Oh my god, we don't have to have anything. Passes Dominican of Colombian people's phones around what are you looking at? You looking at port? They just shot me. You gotta play, oh play. You ain't telling me that I see what you and he is over here ship. Yeah, that was it. But a lot of people,
what is it you? I M D M M dB be. You know, I'm gonna be so room kids, because all the movies you've been in is fucking crazy. I know. I'm like a pop up queen. I keep popping up every aware I'm gonna pop up. I'm trying to be the next black woman in late night TV. That's I don't want to do. Day we ran out of the air. Wait wait, wait, I'm taking a shot to that. I thank you. I'm taking a shot to that to see you on late night. Thank you, but hopefully hopefully drinking
a late night not Oprah. So it's a drunk drink. Don't put that on. No, no, no, no no, I'm gonna tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why I want to have liquor on my show because Johnny Carson used to drink drink on john on the show. It's solutely on this show. Him and McMahon in the coffee cup, they had booze and they served it, and there shows that third booze backstage now that you may or may not know, and they're really it was also a quick lose too, and they tried to talk about us. We're
just doing Cosby Show. Yeah, that was my next question, and I just put it. She said, the Cosby Show. Hold up. I just put that on the group chat because I'm did you come with me Bill Cosby? Yeah? Did he have jello? Put it? Did he have jello? He was working? How was it? Me and Bill Cosby? I get mixed stories about him. Oh. When I met him, it was at a book signing in the park in Los Angeles, California, And you know, it's just before any
of the ship came out. And so I was standing in line about the book because of course you have to buy the book first to get automat and so I was saying that in my book, and somebody shoved me, and I looked and it was Bill Cosby and he looked back and like laughed because you're like, you know, shoved me not I don't know if you knew who I was or he just wanted to shove me. So he showed me that it felt like you were already a working comedian at the time. I've been working your
meeting for thirty years. So he and and one of his assistants was a comedian and new me and stuff. So I don't know if you knew me or didn't know me, but what it felt like, it was just like if you had a father that you could play with, you know, like a leg like that. It felt it felt No, I didn't have that. I didn't have a father like that, so it felt like, you know, it's like my heart has Bill Cosby, like this is amazing. Like he shoved me, you know, and looked back and laugh.
So we had a moment, and then he signed my book. And then one time, hm, I saw him in the airport and he and I sat next to each other and flew from l A to Las Vegas, and I got the pictures. But what I did and I had to take a one picture just like adoring him and laying on his shoulder. But of course, in light of what happened, I reposted it and I said, then I'm sleepy on foul. Did you see the documentary? Mm hmmm. I just think that Bill Cosmer used to be fine as fun. He used to run, he used to run
track or tempo. He was an athlete, He was buffed, he was fine as fuck. He could have got any of them bitches pussy that he wanted and did and did and did. So. The fact that knowing that and still preferring to drug women is like you want to just one heart beat away from necrophilia, Like like you don't want to make love to somebody who's making love to you back. You just want to a body. That's
some twisted ship. Okay, right now, Bill Cosby's going on to your agent care you and say, Bill wants you to open up. I can't do it, Bill, I can't do it. I can't trust you around my cocktail, shade. I can't trust you around my cocktail. So I don't think I'm gonna go no. Everything is, you know, I am. Luckily, I'm at the point of my career where I do have the opportunity to turn down ship that I don't
want to do. You know, when you're really trying to get that bag and you're coming up and you're hungry, you don't even have the opportunity to turn down what you don't want to do. You gotta get that money. You're trying to live, you know, but um, I wouldn't do it now, and I do have the opportunity to say. I mean, I'm not turning with nobody right now to myself, so I don't have to rely on nobody to eat. You know what, do you prefer stand up or doing movies?
Stand up? Because of the media reaction. Yeah, it's like a drug, for sure. And ask me whether which one I like better movies than television? Okay, no, you ask your motherfucker's which one do you like? Movies and television? No? Which one do I like more? Jesus Christmas? Which would you like more? Challenge? You know you want to drink and show, motherfucker, I'm here to challenge your intelligence because
I had edibles. That's what they don't know. Um, I prefer television because movies you're expecting to show up and then they're gonna shoot. Television you have rehearsals, and I need rehearsal. I'm the type of personally rehearsal. I need to be in the space you know that I'm saying this when I'm walking over here and make it all makes sense in my head. I can't just read it off the paper. And go act it as I can't do it like that. So you want me to give
you some more questions to ask? Please? Can you write him and sentence to both of us. We'll give you text. I'm just trying to get you to take the shot. So I got on the shot. Oh my god, and let me ask you before we take this other shot. Yeah, and she cat you lined up before. We've never worked with Harvey Weinstein. That the way you feel like if I had worked with Harvey Weinstein, my motherfucking jet would be at the airport right now and he'd debade me
out out of gave him what he wanted. A nasty motherfucker that's sucking a rich She's like, Harvey, Yeah with me, No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding letters. No, but I'm just saying that there's sucking somebody rich, and there's some fucking somebody rich and powerful and in the business. At that time, I guess Harvey was really rich and powerful. But see if you just look at the motherfucker's you know the people who get holes. He oh, quite nasty fat.
I don't know, bitch, won't you? You just got money? Any bitch that sleeps when she was a total whore. Because you're old and impendent and nasty and disgusting, Harvey Weinstein looked like fucking ejaculation. That too much? Just right, take a shot, Take a shot another holy motive. But have you ever been through those stories in Hollywood with these people? Think that like that? Or if you ever heard of these Sorry do you live at you because you said you live in Crisshaw. But so that means
you don't adapt to the Hollywood like style. I really don't because I was popular before I ever came to l A. Because I was on TV in the Bay Area before I ever came to l A. So that's that part never affected me. Like you can ask my friends, I'm not I love I love it. Sometimes of it, I don't like it, but uh, you know it didn't. It hasn't affected me because I was popular before I ever left Oakland. They said, even think they felt up Terry Crews. He said that, Well, listen, I am a
bit who was down the fun. I wish that somebody had approached me that could help my career. I'd have been up. Nobody. Never fuck, they don't want me because they know I flips on and got a bit mob. You know you pissed me off. I'm gonna talk about on take. I'm high risk pussy. They don't they don't want it. I'm ready to you. They don't want it. I mean I give it to him. They don't want it. I'm trying to have got I need hose in different areas areas. I oh god, but let's let's make a noise.
Let's let's take it all the way to Nate Dog, rest in peace, Nate Dog. Let's take it all the way back. Where do you get the bug for comedy? Like? What's who's inspiring you? What's inspiring you to to be a comedian? Is your family member like you said? Or they were definitely a training ground for sure, But to
take it serious, like what inspires you? Um? Well, I think a lot of it might have to do with being the eighth of the eight children and not really being paid attention to in the home that I was raised in because I was raised away from them. And then I actually it was theater that I started in before any of this ship, yes, and ended up in Oakland Open That's where I did the theater in Baltimore
in Baltimore. But I'm just saying, you know they have that, Yeah, for sure, And you know that teaches you by not having stage fright in this and move around, being able to director, working with other people, being on time, which I'll wasn't. It was me today. My fault, My fault. I wasn't on cubic traffic. Traffic. I'm gonna give you a past cousin traffic got his the NASA. It's crazy. It's they're trying to keep you with l a day. In New York too, it's really congested. But you know,
probably you'd pay for being in Miami. Yeah. Hey, do you know pit Bull? Yeah, that's our bud. Can you call him please? But he's been on the show. I didn't see that one. You gotta watch it. All the rappers ever came here, Pitbull might be the only one who walked in by himself and walked out by himself. I mean, he's from the city, we all know him. Came so No, No, he came so but started drinking immediately. We told him to calm down. He kept drinking, finished
his drinks, left with drinks to go by himself. I'm here in the did it once? He's driving? No, No, no, what the want. But because I love pit Bull and I'm gonna tell you one thing he said that I'll never forget. They save they gave pit Bull the key to the city, and he said, how ironic I used to sell keys in this city? Did you give me the key to I remember back when he used to wear a little French phrase in its head. But he's a total boss and I like him with a little
tight hands. That's something you said earlier, is what I was saying. Okay, you texted, you should have said, take my penchion, texted he'll recognize me now, I send that to Okay. So one of the things I was telling my friend the other day, I was like, everyone who kind of like grew up in the late eighties and early eighties, they actually smote crack before, right, But she jokingly said that you did you mean that Nick? I could crack. I could cook a rock right now? The
worst thing ever, worst ever, worst worst thing ever. Look at noriing googling met her because I know you that, I know you got nothing. No the crack definitely didn't know about the robbery. But were you even interested? Crazy? We are here, we are, let us we have you here, but he didn't like this. He was like, oh no, because trying everybody else he does all the time. I'm trying to be on point. I'm trying to be on point. You're president, I hearing google you was president of the
United States. So but back then, a lot of people used to think a lot of people now when they think about people that smoked crack back they think like, oh, they were crackheads or what that. But back then there's a different era. Like one some of the most drug dealers, people I knew had the most money I knew, was smoking crack because at first it was looked at like cocaine's cousin. Right, it was as cocaine's cousin. It was like this was kind of fly. Oh no, that wasn't
when you was doing it. Now I'm looking at look at trying to say, man, so what was it like in your experience. But first of all, let me just say what nobody says. Crack was azing. You say you don't get you don't get hooked. Coin sucked up that ship. That ship was amazing. It was amazing. Nancy Reagan was wrong. But now I said the reason she said, just say no, I said that bit I never hit a pipe in her life. She wouldn't just be able to say just now, no,
thank you, Nancy, actually listen to you, Nancy. No, it was it was amazing. Yeah, it really was. This is the eighties. This is this is because I don't think the first for drink okay cool. I remember when um first started, when people was like using ether and all this ship and everybody was cooking their own before you could buy it, already cooked, was ready rock, ready rock, which was amazing too. I was like, you know, I ain't gotta cook it, just damn um. But you know,
it's absolutely the devil. It's the thing I regret one of the biggest regrets of my life. Away sted a lot of money and a lot of time, but at this time in Oakland, California, you couldn't even have a friend if you didn't have no doubt, Like nobody would come over your motherfucking house unless you had a rock. I was doing comedy, I was getting paid in cash. I lived in a little area where everybody knew me, didn'tnew I was coming out with some money. They started
to the nail. Let me have three dollars, alright, bitch, and bring me one too, you know. And then it started to lonely, you know, didn't have nobody because I get off work at fucking one two o'clock in the morning. Nobody comes home from work and go straight to sleep. You know. I wanted, you know, staying me, watch TV, do whatever. I can't talk to nobody on the phone. Nobody want to talk to you. Nobody saying they're working. You want to talk to you too, dirty in the morning.
But the dope man, well he'll come over, so oh wow, probably right there. So uh, if you ever smoke crack, no no never, never to put it in a joint, no no, no, no, no no no. But I took Molly, and I feel to say you comparing Molly, yes, never never. So we had ascid and shipped Back in my day, people asked, we have paper, asked, but mine was. I liked were orange sunshine as well, but mine I like purple micro dot. Baby damn. That was some fun and what would it do? It was? But this was mescaline,
let's kill I took. I messed that before was yellow. Um, it just was a fun I don't like drugs that ain't fun, like cocaine. After a while. That ship ain't fun. But crack is fun versus just regular cocaine. And it wasn't. This is let's let's call it early crack, only crack chemist organic. It was fine. Could you like, we can make a pattern to a little rock and look this as a maze like a magic trip. Three weeks later, but you don't try. No, don't try to set kids
three weeks later. You don't come on three weeks later when you were likee, you ain't been out to have I still got all the same floor that on that picture three weeks ago. No, that wasn't me. I'm my I was. I was like a high class drug user, you know. I mean I didn't miss those shows. Um, I was like picking up to kill a couple of times. I'll be right and right there, miss Johnson. So you don't, honestly seriously if you don't think you developed a serious habit. Yes,
it was serious. Are you sing kidding? Get out getting serious everybody's drug habit on back and get serious sounds very funny. Crash happy hour, You gone something? You can see him looking when you said crackers, enjoy Nick, start thinking like, well, like everybody like I want to I want to make sure before Crack make comeback. He was like, I'm trying one day. Just you know, it's not for everybody, It's not. I can't be speak of it in a
comedic way now because I have overcome. But it was some very dark days and some very stupid ship was done, and a lot of money was motherfucking fucked off and scandalous ship. I did all that ship. I'm not above saying I did all that ship, you know, and I regret things, you know, But the redemption is when you turn your life around and when you end up winning what I'm saying, it ain't like I guess. I just
got back from Oakland. I just literally I was driving through the streets and that's the last time I've seen people straight up smoken Crack with stems right up. We'll go to Kensington Park and Phil. Don't don't do Oakland like that. They got plenty motherfucking places. Yeah, yeah, I drove through. They got plenty. Say the funk out of there. What are you doing? North? What was you doing? And what was you doing? That was the birthday party? What was you Yeah? We had a great we had a
great time. Yeah, I got something scar, and you know it's crazy about us. To be clear, they all told us take everything out the car. You can't leave nothing in the car. It's a smashing grab capital. Smashing grab capital. But she'd be surprised who's doing smashing grab Well that too, but you'd be surprised that something people just leaving the car, I mean, and sometimes you have to leave you in the car, but you don't get god to get cads slipping. I didn't want to go to dinner because of that.
I was. I was going on the dinner the last then bringing a little man bag in the restaurant with you. Yeah, you're right, probably no, but you right, probably we don't want to. We don't want to take that chance, he said, he's giving dinner, staying in the hotel. Go straighten it up. Uh, but you know where we ate that. We ate that mot what is it? Moto? So to Italy it was fantastic and then we ate that. Um, look, Brenda's, Brenda's heard of Brenda's. It's soulful. She cook her ass out
to it might have been her spin. And there was nothing but homeless people outside. It was like whoa. And then they said in front of the spot, I said, be aware of pickpockets and loose women. I had never seen that type of side before in my life. What's that pickpockets? That means straight up these and then loose women made straight up? That was like, I was like, oh, ship different to loose the level. This is a different
type of city makes it said. Let me let me, let me take this out of man god, I want to ask them quite since that the people in the audience would like to. Let's go, okay, Nor, you've been married a long time. How many years we've been together? Six? Two years, I believe, married eleven? Did she got to get that right? Or what you do? U? Did she from what bro are you from? You? From queens? From
queen or your wife from Jersey in Miami? Okay? Okay, okay, okay, and then you what's your relationships that you gotta feel He didn't propose and didn't tell none of us. You can put it on. I guess two kids with her, You got two kids. You got two kids from your baby mama. And now you have done the honorable thing, and you're gonna man, man, that's good even from some good motherfucker's I know now now, now, you're dju and so who have you Jane for before? And how did
YouTube link up? That's a long story, but making sure I like it. He came down here to promote component Oriega. Yeah, I had, I had a hip hop store, I was a mixtape dj was a DJ do not things out here, so that they brought him to me to promote, right, and we connected and then we did a lot. How many years ago it was seven? She trying to let us know how old we are. We not taking a shot for that. That's beauty. We thank you for that. And look, by the way, look it all my shots.
I took my sides once she took it. Yea. Every time I take a shot, I put it there so I can know how many times I'll tell you all that ers chers No, but that's dope. So I'm going for her late night and do thinking we would producing it. Yeah, we see it, We see it, Yo. We got, we got, we got, and we got back. Yeah. Play We're gonna try. No, no, no, listen, all you gotta do is have me spin off the
motherfucking uh Draak Champ. Spin off motherfucking the Female. You know what I'm saying to flip we will come over the girls saying because somebody gonna stop. I just want to ask the question, you know, because then just watched the Drink Champs too, and they want to know things to you know what I'm saying, You're gonna be the first guest to get with yalla to come out. Let's speak at two eight assistance. Let's speak at two assistance were you want to be the first one to get
with y'all to come out. But she does like me, let's go, I need the super Bowl. You're gonna be the first one or maybe that's the pilot off rip pilot need to do. And if it's raining, we're gonna have an umbrella. Oh my god, but I'm not sending with my questions. Sorry, go ahead. So you're from where by where in l Ae l a Miami Cuban family, Cuban parents commit nationality? Okay, okay, yeah I love that love killings. Yeah that's a black Cuban. Cubans are black. Yeah,
Cubans are black. Thing. This could dance his ass off right there were where was that right next door? Right next door? That motherfucker started out himself like this and don't play me cheap. Daddy. He looked like being still in a long cane, Paul, that's what he killed that. Yeah no, but you know that's what I love about being in Miami. It's the Cubans cause you'll see black people you think, just a regular a black person, and say what's up, player, and you're like, hey, Mimi, Oh
I got so much fun. We almost done. The next bottle of champagne. Iron skirt, iron skirt, not on a regular night. What do you drink? Okay? I got a
present for you guys. Okay, So some people know I have a website Hayley Neil dot com, and I have merchandise and I just bought y'all one of these Cristo you get taken out of the flask, taken for the photographs better and mean, It's gonna be found on my website and I want you to wear them somewhere and put in the next episode that episode weird you don't play with? Look at that bench is flying out the back? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, so luck that's bomb right,
goddamn you wow you like it? Next episode? That makes any for that? So let me know I'm not fining ahead. So then at what age did you start DJ? And how did you? And uh? I love I love the gangster name that you had when you you know, you go yes, So when did you start? I started officially DJ and when I was eighteen at house parties, I couldn't I couldn't afford turntable, so before they had to tape decks and I was I was a positive. Yeah.
It was a post tape DJ becusette. Yeah, and you would be able to take had hand me down tape decks and I could pitch it And that was hard work on that, on that because and Nori, what about you when you started rapping? I was rapping in jail. I mean, it's the truth. I tried to wrap. I had the worst rap name ever in hip hop history. What was your charge? First of all to the murder? Okay? And okay, don't you want to talk Oh we can talk about my bank robbery, but you don't want to
talk about that, okay. But I had my rap name was m cy y'ahoo with the ball to be And that's my that's myridulum. It's horrible and none of my friends, none of my friends had to occur. Did we ever say, how did you get that name, I just made it up. How did you do that name? Because I wanted like Grandmaster or such. So all of that you came up with yo who with the board because I don't want to I want to wait. So he was like up and see, yeah, I wanted to stre I wanted to
stress like grand Master, you know how they masters. I didn't want to use this yeah who? And I always had a ball head. So but when he was when he was moving with because I used to drink, Yeah, didn't drink the drink you who you? Yeah? Y'all from you to yeahoo yea chocolate milk. That's cricket. It was the era. That's how he was creative in New York. And that's right. And it was like it wanted to have a long name. Having a short name was you know. You know this is back with the cardboard box on
the ground. Yeah yeah, I still will hip hop hip hopping fifty years. I know, hip hop years happened. You noticed the first time he said happy birthday the hip hop on this show fifty years. We gotta we gotta, we gotta thank hip hop for giving us all these opportunities, so many opportunities. They taught hip hop would go away. Well, the white pros used to wish that Rock and Road would go away, and everybody wish that hip hop would
go away. But I mean hip hop is spread like motherfucking Corona and it's everywhere, and there's some of the greatest. I mean, you know what, what would the world be without a bus the rhyme? You know what would it be without a tribe called question E, P, M, D N, Public Enemy, No God W E, forty Hey and now and now Mount Westmore, Mount Westmore we got coming up. I think we got like the three of them as cool with it. It's usually never snoop usually, and I
was just short a couple of weeks ago. Two weeks ago we did a thank tank but okay, so we don't know what that is. Hold on, thank thank me. A lot of the thing we did was because he's from Oakland. I'm from Oakland. We both came through the SOB Television Network ERA, which was a black owner and operated television station in open California before B E T or anything like that. So that's why I said it was popular. Before I came to l A, I was
already taking pictures. I was already signing autographs. I was already doing that ship before ever came to l A and Short as well, and so we played a part of that. So they're doing a documentary on that. So we were at Short Studio and I did my part and then he did this you hit that's that thing? Thank Like they say, you ever hit a corner like they say my column, You hit the corner like you spend a corner like ghost right the web? Yeah, you know something? Yeah, is that the same hit the corners?
Just widing out? You know when the East Coast people try to use West Coast like we always try, just like when saying and we're from l A, right, so don't try to you know what. You know what's crazy. But when I'm thinking about the West Coast and the East Coast, right when I go to Oakland, I feel like, like just like New York exactly, Like it's like it's like there's there's bumbs there. Yeah, and it's like it's like it's it's almost the same thing. You gotta the
same way. You gotta be on point in Oakland. You gotta be on point in the city. And where I moved from into Oakland and where I moved to in l A. Is the same because you said you live in the Crisshow this right? Break that down for people who don't know, because everyone thinks of Chris Shaw and they think of boys in the hood. They think a bit of South Center. Actually they think of Nipsey now when they okay, yeah, and I'm like three older, I'm older,
so that the younger generation think of Nipsey. The older generation think of these old movies. When they heard Chris Shaw and they drove past Chris Shaw, they see it was graffiti. This is the only sign on on whatever the highway is that had graffiti on it. When you passed through Chris Shaw. Clints got a bad rap. No it's not. I mean it used to be let like. It used to be used to be fun letting. Then they used to be violent and it let as well.
But when I moved there, that was pretty over you know, not overfed. Um No, it wasn't it beginning to be gentrified now they got hope fools. Um. But they did close the Ralphs, and I take offense to that. Um up, they closed the I like Albertson's just saying, so, yeah, what's that other? Should you guys got public public public when Dacy that's country, you say, but Oakland. Um, I'm glad that you have been coming to the experience. I glad you like fab fabig, got shot, gotta shopped up.
I stop Fabia hold on? Oh yeah, because I get mixed up, Belie. Yeah. No, Queenshaw is you're saying this nice neighborhoods and Quinshaw really is Chris Shaw City. It's an area, a district, okay, like we would say a barrow. Yeah, you could say cres okay. The Crenshaw District encompasses uh, you know different areas within that as well, like you know the Parkist and maybe the in Show district and other little uh who's the Angelists a sort of in
the Crenshaw district. It's a little you know, it's an area in in l A. Is so big and it got so many different areas that crazy. Yeah, but I'm I'm I'm okay because I'm not one to live above my means. Number one, I'm very comfortable, very safe when I'm at my neighborhood. Digs me, I dig them. I've
been there for many years. My kid grew up there, and you know, I also have multiple other sort of like little residences and offices, and I wouldn't be able to have that if I was trying to prepay a mortgage in a place where I really don't even spend any time. I'm on the road so much that it's only like a very little time I spend at home, So I don't feel the everybody like my house, my house,
my house. Just well, when you're single, you know, it's easier to just say, hey, come fix your motherfucker water heater player then it is to buy a new water heater. You know, my roof is they can get the funk over here and fix it. If you are a single woman, you feel me if you don't have a man that could do it, and you gotta get contract, you don't know about it, they're gonna take advantage of you because you know, so I just read bade to be somebody
else's problem. In the meantime, I came in for five places for what i'd be paying for money. Now I'm not saying this is the thing to do. I'm like, yeah, you know, people be like you shouldn't be telling people. You should be telling to telling their own ship, and you should. But on the land, not the building. Come on own ship if you don't on the land. Word now one of the one of the craziest things I've seen going to late because people bought me the ball
within Hills. Right, yeah, wait a minute, and let me say something about that. One more thing. If you buy a house and you don't buy it out right, like if you're not fucking goose you man or something like that. Now you are bragging that you got a house, but really the motherfucking bank own it. And so I don't feel until I can buy a house out right, I just don't want to be. I don't have a morbid fear of loose. I've been evicted before and stuff, and I have a morbid fear being put the funk out.
And I don't want to be in a house that really to bank own and that some ship happened. I could be put the funk out depending on the circumstance. That's just me. I don't I don't assist my thing. So about Baldwin Hills though it is a black Beverly Hills, I'll kid you not. That's like I forget. Yeah, they brought me to it to it first, right, And I
remember me thinking like it was so nice. I almost thought they were lying because I was from New York and I've never was used to black people having houses, let alone land, let alone property. And I remember people bringing me to that about five years ago, maybe two years ago. I remember me going to that recently and saying, not only is that neighborhood sustained, it's even gotten better
and it's beautiful. And they had a TV show, didn't have a TV show called ball there about the about the black elite kids up in bothering Hires And I loved that show and um, and they used real locations simply host them all this type of stuff, which is I was in that that new movie, Eddie new movie. But um are you people? Yeah, I George Show. I loved it. I got you know, I got some things to say about that. But the area, it's where like I continue attorneys to have a house. I think, Um,
I think some temptations used to live up there. Uh maybe Johnny Cochrane, I don't know. It was some very um amazing black folks that used to live up there. A lot of doctors and lawyers and stuff like that. That's why they did that. Baldwin Hill Show. Yeah, but I mean it's it's dope to see that because a
lot of people. You know, one time I went to Turks and Cackos and um, I remember going there and me walking through a whole black, rich neighborhood and I was like, this is Wakonda, Like holy sh it, like this is real life of all of us things. We gotta go to do Bo to see that, or go to to do You Radio or Wakonda. I'm glad to
hear that. I haven't been. I haven't been there yet, but the one but I have been to Africa and the thing that blow blows my mind or Jamaica is to go to the hotel and the hotel manager is black and the concert it was just black, and then the housekeepers are black. But it's not just the housekeepers in the cooks, the executives of black and charge of
tourism is black. And to see that that makes you go, oh, you know, you sort of feel like this is what it's supposed to You really get that feeling like this is what it's supposed to feel like. Okay, yeah, even like and god bless what, Like, I know, a lot of the Black Islands is probably maybe I'm wrong with this because so I don't want to say this because we always get slacked being wrong. Um, but to me, I felt like the richest black in the in the Caribbean.
To me, I could be wrong. It's not fact. Well, this is how I felt to you. You precluded that by said I felt to you. But I kid you not. I was there one day and I walked on the block, and then I walked on the next block, and I walked to the next block at every single family looks just like me, and I was just like I had never seen that before. Lot of beautiful, black, opulent living outside of this bunk bitch has United States? You know,
there really is. And if we didn't have such fears of the unknown or of leaving our grandma and Grandma, we ain't gonna leave, you know. If we could uproot everybody we love and take him there, maybe that you know it's hard to leave with and go somewhere where you don't know. I believe you know. And you got your relatives here and you know they don't you know Grandma, don't you want to leave her two bedroom motherfucking house, let alone go to a different place. So how are
you gonna do that flying back and forth. It's very hard to leave. But motherfucker say hey, niggers, go back to Africa. We'd be like, please can we how can we do it? You know, how can we do that? We got Michael Black's been coming up and he built the whole school. I know that. That's yeah, and that and that's why I forgive him for doing all little stupid ratchet reality shows that he did. You sadly had a bag so that he could build a school. I forgive you mine. Come, yeah, but he took all that
old reality bullshit win build. That's cool, and that's why you know I don't have no foundations and nothing like that. I would like to be able to do that. So when I get my late night show that I would give me the Well Chappelle is supposed to be producing my Netflix special. Goddamn that. I think I'll be able to make some more moves, you know after that, because I don't need to hit licks no more. I need a lump some of money. I need a lump which count I need? I need a lunk. Oh, I'll be
talking to them. I should be talking to you. Why you didn't tell me that y'all full of chip let me know, but doesn't come over there. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but you're talking to Sunny. Sunny wants to talk to you. I'm sorry for neglecting the people at this angle. Take out my best I ain't even looking at Mama edited that out. It's my favorite phrase. Okay, well I'm back. So yeah, I'm glad that you like I lay. I'm glad you're like open. I love New York. Now I'm
not made for it. I'm not built for New York. Why you say that, because there's a lot of walking. I'm way too bood you. Motherfucker's New York got the tightest asses. If anybody in the United States, you just like you, I said my act you bit just be like, oh, it's just two blocks down, half a mile later. I like, what the fuck you know? I'm gonna tell you a secret. I'm gonna tell you a secret. It depends on where
you're at in New York. There's certain people with certain boroughs that don't even have elevators, and to them, to them walking, it just doesn't seem like my motherfucking nephew it's going to dive when he sees it. Used to live. I think in Manhattan, right. I said, I'm gonna come visit you, nephew. He's like, okay, and kith that's how he talked. And so I get to a spot, I get out of the cab. Not at uber. That's how
long ago. Just wasn't got the cab. Yeah, okay, he's from what's that grandson to the grand Yeah yeah, And so I and so we get out there, we get my suitcase, everything. We go inside the door of the apartment. I said it was the elevator. He said, oh, we don't have an elevator. I said what, And I said, what fucking Floyd do you live on? It felt like it was a fifth motherfucker's floor didn't go Yo, they didn't go one to three one. That that I'm like that.
I don't let you pay two hundred dollars of my play. It was the tiniest ever been. You can sit on the toilet and frying egg on the stove at the same time. That's how small this motherfucker was. The shower was in like a closet, like and the motherfucker at tempted you sit in the office share you got your rock, yo, I said, how do you do your laundry? How do you carry that ship up? And what do you do? What about groceries? Like when you come up and down
the steps with this you live here voluntarily? Uh? That ship. That's why I know y'all the baddest New York Listen. I know a dude right now that has the apartment like it's twenty eight hundred and they're about to raise its tool for three thousand, and he has to use the community shower. That's why when I say, no, know, what you're saying is it's just like on the floor, five people, that's on the floor. But you gotta wait, you gotta wake up and actually like like you gotta go.
You know jasp that's jail shower three thousand, gotten down three thousand. Why but he smacked dead in the middle of everything. That's not that's not your forfeit. I mean to him, it is. He's crazy. He has no complaints, he has complaints. He has no complaint, and we have the internet right now for that ship. He's gonna be smacked an he's stiff in his dream. He's not far from the Empire State Building, not far from to the top.
And then jumped and fun out and when he catches that herd fees from that dirty as shower, it's four four four. I'm gonna go take a pistol crazy, take it to five. No no, no, no, no, no no no. That was bullshit. So I know you guys have a little tricky apartment like that out here. No, I want to take it to the shot with you. I was gonna ask, Okay, well, let's do it now. You know who I do like like my my other nephews and queens,
but I like I like Jersey, Jersey. Yeah, I frequently airbnb this house in Jersey, and I really I really like it at this Airbnb type of person. And you know, for my team, like if I'm coming be in town five days, why paying from five hotel rooms one the Airbnb and my assistant got coups years over there. It's also a chef like BUTTI five certifist double he got he like a Jamaica Yeah yeah, yeah, he got like
nine jobs. So you know, we just uh what you cat instacot the food to the house and he'll cook for everybody and it's more of a family type thing. And I like that. And do you cook? I cooked like a motherfucker. But the only thing is that only two things, three things. I cook soul food, right, I don't cook like Italian food. And you know what I mean. I'm a soul food beast. I can make whole Thanksgiving Christmas dinners by myself. No spicy biga ton huh No, I don't know how to do all that. I can
only make soul food. Spaghetti that's Italian, by the way. I know the battle how you make it, whether it's Italian or not, how you make here. But you know, I make spaghetti and and a good, really great breakfast and ship like that. Motherfucker maga's need so tell us, tell us what's in the Christmas dinner? Okay, my Christmas dinner. First of all, I held daddy even even watching me. I know what happened. This went over my head. I do a turkey in it's a family recipe, and do
a turkey in a paper bag type thing. It's not fried, it's not fried. It's like black magic. I do a turkey I usually do a primary of and I also always just have one small ham from the honey baked place because my daughter likes it. I don't want to hear from nobody about my motherfucking honey baked ham. We get the little one. We don't even have ham left over. The don't funk with me on the two days aufter year alone, don't talk to me about the two days
out the yere. Okay, there's the meats two days years giving the Christmas fun with you about your hair don't continue. But it's not even me. I get it from my daughter. Okay. So there's the turkey, the primary of the ham. I usually have gone. And I have you got sauces in your gumbo? Yes? I do? Yes? Out here being a while, Okay, take the park sauce. You're talking about. Give somebody a option without the porky. I even give him option without the seafood. So I do do that, sorry, okay. And
then dressing and gravy, mashed potatoes, um my greens. I called my super greens because my recipe is college curly mustards, mustards, kale turnups, back choy cabage. I've got all the greens together, and you got pork in there too. It's the color green turkey next turkey in your greens? Yes, annoy, I have I have, I have a ham hog in my green. I can cook a punk bit other polock greens, but
not greens without I can do that. I've done the smoke turkey neck too, But now I'm cold confused, not for me, and it's my holiday and that's what I want. I don't. Don't you know I've done. I'm done all that. But you know when I was growing up, we didn't get all this custom bullshit. It's like, this is what it is either to be hung and I don't eat a bit. Shut you gonna eat this? Howay? You know? These kids got all kind of requirements and ship like
your mama is a short order cook. Bitch. I made magpritat it meed low and cabin eat it the dog give a fuck what? And I don't do cereal in my house. I would never fed no cereal, never fed my daughter no cereal hot breakfast. I'm from Arkansas. We do eggs and ship like that. Okay, So let's put this to Christmas? So could so? Then I have my macrooni and cheese. But my macaroni and cheese? How many cheeses hold on my macaroni and cheese has been bombed?
Un Tell my chef assistant made macaroni and cheese for me. I caught this last and it was sort of like you know, Patty LaBelle got a macrooni and cheese and got like seven cheeses in it. This motherfucker was like that I'm talking about. You take the spoon and going, yeah, I'm getting hungry, just so you know, like that macro and cheese, some sweet potatoes as well, and I think that's it was maybe a sweep potato pie or a red velvet cake, which I did not care, so I
don't beg Okay, let's break down the spaghetti. Spaghetti first, I do start with a name brand spaghetti over here, but over here in this pot, I'm gonna take some olive oil with something. I saw this in The Godfather, very thinly sliced garlic. Let's see. I keep garlic marinading and grape seed and grape seed when they did it in jail. Yeah, yeah, and they had to raise the blade and he say, this is crazy. You said you didn't do Italian. This is exactly okay, But I said,
I cook forgetting that. Okay, okay, okay, let's continue. I want to say I take that, I take the garlic and oil and some onions, and I do that and then I will mix that. So no, and I asked some mushrooms and sometimes some black olives, and I'll mix that together, and then I'll mix the sauce in with that. I let that, man, and then I just drew my you know, my my bostock. And I like angelo hair a lot. I like the way it fields in my mouth. Okay, here possible? Alright, my man, the last one you said
it's breakfast. I'm interested in how you're gonna break down this breakfast. I hate to tell you right now there's more pork involved. No, I can tell. I can tell. I can tell. So you don't bacon if I could find it. Okay, I've only ever had one turkey bacon that I can eat, and it was an oscar my microwave with boscar mine. Because turkey bacon is more like beef jerky to me. It's showy. I like my ship crisp. Even when I eat pork bacon. I don't like it rom flimsy. I like my ship like a potato chip.
About chicken sauces. You ever tried that chicken sausage I eat? But I don't like that ship too sweet. I don't like that, you know, apple chicken. I don't like nothing too sweet. I don't like when they wrap it around. Right now, there's a different I'll be like, listen, I don't wouldn't be different with me. I'm not nabs. You are a lyrical let's go, let's go. So you don't don't focus your sauces neither. No, but I fun with chicken, okay. So all right, So if I come over your house, right,
no whatever, I don't eat porker beef, eat chicken. Okay, So I would maybe bank you some salmon or maybe syriut uh, you know, because love language pan syriuc sun, you think, because he got lost at that point. My only fashion because you ever had somebody come to the
house that don't eat porker beef? Yeah? Okay? And so I w was do fishing grits and maybe need some potatoes onions as well, some wheat toast from the because I buy this bread from the it's called the Black Bread Company, and it's a black bread company and it's called the Black Bread Company. And they probably got to hear the shot shout out to the black bread Yeah, And so I have them send me my bread, and so I probably make your toast. Now that's the Amazon.
She's like subscriptions, but uh, you know, just maybe like like that and then maybe your eggs however you like them with cheese and green onion with a little sauce on top of avocado on the side, you know, or maybe just maybe make you a little omelet egg white omelet or whatever like that. Oh yeah, once you eat my food and eat some other things, you ain't going, no man my food telling anybody what are we on fool? Right? But we're on fool. This brother right here, it is
our director. He's everything. If he was to come to your house, he's vegan and he's jamaking vegan too, so he's gonna ask no whattereez no cheese. If he said it like that didn't get any motherfucking He's like. So if he came over the crib and they're like it's thanks Giving, he's like, we're back when they're giving and we're like, yo, we just did drinking chairs week. Great. You know, he the rector is coming over and he want to eat. How do you cook for a vegan?
And this is my man right and here are you like are you jamaking it all? Are anything okay? So that he knows what parrot fishes? Yeah, you know what parent fishes. So I would probably make it my business to have because this is a holiday. This is a man I love, so I'd probably make he's vegan. I give your bus. I don't know what serious, she said. Some serials you know, paid for a vegan, cook for a vegan. I've never cook vegan, but I'm sure I
could if I brought my mind to it. Let's think about it, right, if you make degrees without without any paltry tripe bros, and just use like maybe a spring water, right, the part is vegan. And then cocaine is too. You can have cocaine, man, it don't some cocaine. That just me just as a vegan, she thinking outside the bar. You are liberated vegans. That was a vegan Christmas l We're about to have a new vegan revolution. Vegans. We're just playing around. The vegans about to be around. Boycott
Tom and the cocaine's vegan especially would do whatever. If I was in love, I would do whatever the fuck it was I could do. If we couldn't get home to his mama, I would do whatever it was I could do to make something for him to feel at home holiday, even if I had to cater it. And then I sucked the ship out. Done. Merry Christmas, Champaigne is what's going up? I ain't never said no. If you can come down drinking right, you know, I ain't gonna lie. This is everything I thought it would be
and more. I just want you to know your a legend. You are somebody that's got to be saluted. You're somebody that you You know what I love about you? Everything about you is comedy. Everything about you is you. Yeah, I I don't whenever I'm asking you a question, I don't expect what I expect. I know you're gonna say something else. And that's so beautiful. That's so beautiful to see a person to live in their own self, you
know what I mean? So many people, especially nowadays, especially in people want to be what they expect the people to want them to be, and they don't want to be who they should be. It's just so much easier to be yourself, to be as just so much easier to be myself. I just if you try to be somebody else, you get you know, you gotta lie, and now you get caught up in one life, you gotta tell another lie, and it's like being hard keeping the lines straight. Yeah. So I just like you know, I
don't try to do nobody no harm. I try to stay out to mess. You know, everybody got them at the house, but I try to stay out of the mess. And I tried to bring happiness and enjoy the people in such a hurtful world. You know, we are in post traumatic stress every day, you know, with the news of the day as murders and killings. You know, day after tomorrow, I'm going to be involved in the Trayvon Martin uh activities, you know, with his mother, Sabina Fulton. When I told her what I met her, I think
she came to one of my comedy shows. I was so honored to have her come see me, and I said, if you ever need me for anything, I'm there, and she finally called me and I'm here. So I'm here to do this show, but I'm also here to you know, my get with Trey Vin and you know, host the celebration, not in the park. It's gonna be food and all that stuff. And for her to give back because none of us, you know, shout out to my very different Ricky Smiley just lost his son, ant I'll live your
children is a pain that I can't imagine. Like there's no more comedy for me if that would have happened to me. You know, I don't know how people go on, but if you keep waking up and keep reading, you have to go on. So Sabrina asked me to come. I'm here to do that. You know. I like doing I love doing what I do because I meet great people, and I get good seats at restaurants, and I um fly first class and all that fun ship that go with it, you know. But mostly I just get to
talk to people. If I never get a motherfucker award, I've got I've got awards from the people, you know. If I never get a Oscar, never get a I'll be hurt. If I never get a soul Train award, I want what the black one. I want to soultiate. Yeah, I want to train. I gotta be to you. We gotta be. We have not physically gotten it yet, Like you're being black and the black while we almost a yeah, I think almost yeah. We check in. It's not be man.
We don't. We don't. We want We appreciate it, but we want one, and I wanted within a year, but no, I just you know, just doing doing this and just the opportunity to you know, one of the biggest things that happened to me when I moved to l A was that I started seeing people that I adored from TV in person. Like I met Jack Hay in person. I'm like, wow, this is really her. I met Marley Gibbs in person. You know what I'm saying, Andy, Andy Samberg,
and and and and and and Adam Sandler in person. Well, yeah they did, which is always you know, a mind lord to me, because I don't just walk up expecting people know who the pretty here again, and so a lot of them do. And I'm like, you know, I'm trying to work. I think I'm gonna embrace that legend thing and trying to work more more. You are a legend. I'm not gonna lie to you. And you have a Drink Chance Award now as well. Those are gold roses. But when I'm fairs at people, I still have me
and my team Google. And when I was doing that, that's why you kept seeing me look at my phone I just kept seeing they just kept seeing me more and more and more and more, and I was just like, you know, of course I know what you do from what I saw, but I was it was so much more that I didn't know, and it was so much more that I wanted to praise you for so that so I wanted you to know that. And what's crazy about it is you deserve these flowers. You are one
of the goats out here. You have a great spirit, great mind, and great you know, great, great, great comedic and and by the way, I we all anticipated this. We needed this in three we needed a comedian, we needed uh this and it was everything that I expected plus ten fifteen hundreds. No, I swear to God, we love your spirit. The spirit is kind of been coming. I'm gonna take a shot to that. You got a shot, were watching you. You got two shots. She wants you
to be double fist. But this this All the other shots we took, what's that, everything else? But this shot here is for you and everything you do and everything you continue to do, and we want you to know it. Don't go recognize you are queen and we love we we love you, and we're gonna respect that shot it let me you ain't cool right now? Ye? Holy those are like four hours okay, so asked about were not? They said, your twin that did you see that? Of course? Okay,
that's what you call viral that. No, I had nothing to do with that, but apparently Jock had died his hair blond and somebody you know that, you know, the internet is undefeated. They are the funniest writers ever. If any of you out there on the internet, they'll be writing some virally funny ship. Think about doing a career in comedy writing that, that could be your career. And somebody somebody said John out here looking like Loue Nell right, okay,
so the best who are man? Literally? So then I wrote, I saw it on I don't know, somewhere um onside of something like that Hollywood luck maybe, oh yeah maybe that Yeah, Jason, and my episode comes out next week. Okay, I'm so um. I wrote him and I said, what's up? You know he was he came out. I was on my phone. He said Young Jock is live. And I clicked on it and I was like one of her people on it, and so I said, good morning, twin.
That little statement right there everything went everywhere, and you know, everybody was circling it and screenshot it dead and and then me and Jock I was in Atlanta and then I was like, Jack, you need to come to my shot hit him in the DM and he saw it late, but he was like, yo, I want you to see this earlier. The came so we cool, you know, because like it's like it's like flavor Flavor and um on boosey. Oh yeah, and they did the movie. Yeah it was
the Flavor was the Father? Yeah, yeah, Well I'm just suspected. Motherfucker's that like the color? They answer much? Your suspect of them? Wait where did we go? Just? She says she thinks it sucks you think Jock is suspect. I'm asking this is you. I don't want no problem with Jock. You don't want no problem with nobody but you. Now, but i'd be like waiting, manute, that's all. That's Wait a minute. With men color their hair, it's a little crazy. What do you do? He color his head gray? Yeah
that's what I did. Okay, But Yourselver Fox, thank you ain't color ship? Would you dye in pink? Would you die in Lappert? He would you turn it blind if I wouldn't do it? Black ones? You know what, that's a lot of fun. That guys, a lot of fun drops, a lot of fun and plus, by the way, that motherfucker, Hey, I can't name two young drop songs, but that motherfucker won. That's the forever fucking bangers going down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's a lot of Let's take a shot for that. Yeah,
I'm taking a shot for that. You know what, you're evil. You gotta shot right there, you gotta show right there. Looks she brought you a shot conveniently. Okay, blood, Hey, you know what, your evil plan is not working. You think you're gonna get me drunk, you know, but we're doing air click air click. There gonna be like in the comments and be like trivia question. How many shots did lu Nelle have during? Okay? Do we account minds that she took one cup? What are you taking away?
Who kind of my shots? Even watching? Even watching you nine so I feel it's like ten or eleven we're on you're but thank you, Oh my god. Okay, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, No, let me just ask you right every time we already asked you about the stage and um with comedy, right and we already asked you about you know, um edited, so right now with this upcoming Dave Chappelle supposedly Netflix documentar of me, what do we? What do we? What are we? What are we doing?
You know? One day and I first of all, um, he had me come out to Yellow Springs. We've been We went out there to the corn field by the way, shout out to y'all from coming to Snoop Compound to do the show. You're like, we don't drivel for nobody, but if you did, but how about you did car the couple we we went too. They want men like that? She definitely because I thought that's some was got some baller ship. That's boy, any means necessary ship, go get it.
You're gonna pass up a Snoop interview that he go. That's our second. By the way, he did go. He was in Florida. He was the floor early on. Okay, see, because this is one I'm gonna ask you out. Did like y'all do this with places? I thought, didn't you had it? Just one stables. Miami's our main spot where we record, but we've traveled. Yeah, but this is not. Is this the maining spot for the past two years? Okay, yeah, yeah, okay, Now what with the question Dave Chappelle? How did you
Dave Chappelle? Okay, so, um we knew each other. We had uh been in each other's company and seen him do comedy, was in Canada, my comedy festival and see me Canada as a criminal? Yeah, but you Drake back to us? So I wish I knew Drake? Do you know Drake? Hey? C Did Pitt Bull answer you back? He didn't, but he hasn't. He hasn't yet. He hasn't yet. But how how did you get in Canada? How's a criminal? You might not be the contry? I can't what happened?
He didn't answer. Oh, you're not as close as you No, no, no, no, okay, I look, I said, tell her right, tell me anything, but you got into Canada? But I don't know, umu. He had me out of the blue, like things happening out of the blue. Out of the blue, I got, you know, summons to come out to Yellow Frings. I was like, oh my god, gladly and it was you know, private and everything like that. I'm the jet and my daughter and I went with me, and I always say
she didn't come to support me. She didn't even come to with Chappelle. She came to me on the fucking jet. I was her in the selfish I'm god, I'm not gonna lie, make some noise to your daughter. That's what she's supposed to tell me. And my daughter went out and um I performed for him, and he told my daughter that he was gonna get me a Netflix special. Now, let me tell you something about black mamas and things that you tell our kids. Serious, don't don't lie to
my baby. Don't do it. I don't give a funk who you are. Don't play like that, don't tell don't tell her something that you're gonna do for me and not do it. You can tell me something that you're not that you're gonna do for me and then not do it, but don't tell her. So I knew that he wouldn't do that, and so I believe that I believe him. He's gonna get me Netflix special. And then we did a show and San Francisco. You know how
he always has musical guests. This particular show, you had E forty, Raphael, Sad, Little John and uh and somebody else on the Bay too, Tyler quality symbol symbol I think was no, no, no. But anyway, it was a bunch of us. And he announced on the stage that night to everybody that he was gonna get me a Netflix special. Now that's twice right. And then so I just did a show with him and Chris Rock in front of twenty thousand people and he said it again,
you know so. And then I talked to him the other day because he asked me, you know where am I most um, what are my top two choices to well, I want to take the special. Of course, one would be I would want to do it in Oakland because that would bring, you know, a whole full circle moment for me to do it. Let's hit the drum roll for the number two. Let's drum I think we all come on. What would number two be? What would number two be? Vegas? Oh, lunell life from Las Vegas, because
I would say, I already have my residency there. You know, I'm there. When I leave Florida, I go to Vegas, I'm there every residency in Vegas. Yes I do. There was a whole thing on ABC. Um it's on streaming on Hulu now uh called Solovan Nation Blacks in Las Vegas and does the history of Las Vegas. And then as people like us share and me and George Wallace
and Neo Um talking about Las Vegas. I'm there every Sunday at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club, Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club, every Sunday night at nine thirty and hopefully I think that after Valentine Day, maybe in March when I started doing Sunday Monday. And you may say Sunday Monday, because I always thought that would be a hard sell. But let me just tell you, Sunday Monday in Las Vegas, it's like any plays out and blessed the tickets and cheaper in the rooms, and she run those days. So
people always come in on those days. And our conventions start maybe and people have to come into Sunday evening or Sunday and started to convention on Monday or Sunday night. Did ain't got nothing to do, so they come see me. It's been a lot of fun. Wow. So and obviously you ain't living in Vegas, you're flying in. Yeah, I'm the only black female with a comedy residency in Las Vegas makes a noise for that, but hopefully not the last.
Hopefully not the last. The closest I came to a residency was when I had my Latino record and a dude ready to be out for every Wednesday. He rented you out. He did not rent you out, man bro. He booked me. He booked me for every Wednesday for May and July. What is it? It was a residency. So it was like, that was like a Wednesday, and I would no matter where I'm at in the world, and I was just like, at first you'd be thinking like, well, I'm too obligated or something. But it was spring break,
so spring break I've never seen the same crowd. So it was like you you think you get bored or something like that, but see, Vegas is all tourists, so it's the same thing. So so you're having fun doing this. I'm having a wonderful time doing it. I also feel like it's um I got some having the only sister in Vegas with a comedy residency, and I had one once before the SLS Hotel and Casino. It was Eddie Griffin was money Wednesday, Nico, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and I
did the Sundays so now, yeah, that's a SLS. But um, I urged people to check it out on Hulu. Um you know Sulivan Nation Blacks in Las Vegas. Also, you can check out the um Fact Tuesday documentary p H A T F A T. That guy and Tory put together. Not amazing, amazing. I got that name on the wall. Now, basic, let's noise to that. You know it's crazy. I'm sorry, sorry to cut you all. You know it's crazy. I never knew how legendary that was until I've seen the documentary.
I never knew how underground that was. I never knew that some of you guys are going there. Your names wasn't on there. You guys just rocking out. That's that's what I kind of the comedy store. Yeah store, That's what I understood. Like hip hop is one thing, right, but hip hop is performing live on stage. But you could you can get over without having a good stage performance in hip hop and having a great record and people not knowing that you're not good on stage. You
know what I mean. If you're if your record is too big, you can't do that comedy. You got to be able to bust up a mother for well, you gotta pay those legitimate dudes and come now, yeah you used to have to. Now you really don't have. The media is changing that. Yeah, you don't even have to really pay dudes. The TikTok comedians now, yeah, But I'm just saying it doesn't translate from what you see on
the phone to what you see on the stage. Career one, you know it's what Then you can take the same person off TikTok and book him at the improv and people will come to see him, but they may not, but it might not resonate. I think one of the funniest things was we had Mike Epps out here one time and one of our our friends that I forget his name right now, and he came on here, it's two, it's two comedian. Mike epstaid his other dude and then the Instagram what was his name? Please put it up?
Was his names? Frid his ass huh? I think he said? He said, he said he's funny, Holdy's funny too, he said, we do? We do? He he come up on social media and Mike, So I thought, David, I'm thinking everyone
is a comedian. I'm not knowing that this TikTok comedians Instagram comedian, I didn't know that at this time, so I invited them all obviously after I invited my gaps and I just said in the episode later as soon as he broke them are Mike Gas looked at him and said, man, God looked like he wanted to make you a midget, but said I'm gonna make you a little bit, a little bit taller. Oh my god, I did not, Oh my God like. So that's why I
don't do those roasts and ship that insult comedy. Like I can dition it out, but I can't take it if you say something up to me now, bitch, I'm talking about your mama, and your mama putsy in all that ship. Now you're mad. Now you want to shoot men. So I don't do roads. It's so comedy. Now, I don't really do insult comedy. That's why people like I don't want to sit in the front. I'm like, I don't have to rely on you in the front for my my comedy. I had shipped you know when I
got here. But if you come to the front, you're wearing like a lime green three pieces. I mean it's your obligation to the something to say something about it. Look like Bishop don't want a little bit. You can't talk about my friend way goddamn, that's my brother. He gave me. He gave me the let me tell you something Bishop don't want, gave me the famous player board. And I was nowhere in their player So after players ball, so at that night, I'm walking around and then I'm
because I've been around these guys for two days. So some white girl come up to me. I said, you gotta choose, and she chose me. I was like, I didn't know what to do. Say, man, say let me let me knock your socket pocket because let me take if she was I didn't know what to do. I didn't know. After they chose up, I said, all playing around with this you it ain't that t all Like that part is some real cold you gotta be a
cold mother pimping. I mean, but you know there's another pimp that we associate with that was doing it before the Bishop magic one, and that feel most slim. You don't feel more slims from San Francisco. And I don't know he had he had, yeah, all those books they had a a story out. They said, feel Mo Slim was somewhere with like nine eight or nine bitches and all his bitches got pulled that night by some other players. They said. He came back the next day with eighteen.
Oh all that street film magazine is and yeah, that's where that's a fizzle territory. Yeah, yeah, hey, noriay, do y'all do y'all know? Um rock Camp? Eric being rock Cam? No just rock Camp. There's a lot of rock hims in this world of Eric being MP Okay, yes, yeah, okay him, call him and tell him I love him. That's you guess hosted We get him on him? Did you guess call him? Nori? Now you gotta text him.
I don't know no one who can call rock him like that was like Jesus, Jesus, you got to send him something, ascribe, don't even always you gotta get a picture you white pigeon to fly Yo. Let me okay, let's talk here about talk got Okay. The motherfucking wasn't just soul trained? No, what was the awards? Motherfucker? When we saw Shine for the first time back again, Shine, did you recently you mean yes? Yes? Yeah? God? How happy was me? To see. But he like baby Obama too.
He sounded great. That was dope. That was dope. You know, he did the whole thing. I was like with it. You know what's the dope sh about Sean? He got like three different accents, American accents, and he had the Biggie accent. He's believe it's one of the biggie accents, the Beliegian accent. It's the Caribbean. We are bigging him the Caribbean accent. Can you can? You can maneuver it a little bit to listen, so I'm not gonna let you change this up. We are bigging him up. Said
that New York biggie and a belief. Yes, I love it. I love every one of them. Shot wherever you shot you. I'm a couple of beliefs. For no reason. We gotta go. We gotta go drink chance beliefs and we go over that belief That's where I want to go. Let's do it. Let me call host. I'll do whatever you want. Take
a shot for that. Yeah, and cousin, I have another question. Okay, I got she's like the dentist, you know when they come and give me that little bit of mouth wash and washing, and it's gonna it's gonna numbers, not a cheka. You gotta say that a cheka. Okay, now let me ask you this, Let's do it. This is what I have a theory about. Go ahead, So okay, I believe that you can manifest like whatever you rap about, you can manifest that, right, just rap, not just rap. Well, yes,
we're talking about rap. Like if you make an album call ready to Die, right and if you start and if you you're wrapping is like you know, gas and ship like this ambitious then but then you have other people who are doing you know. I just think if you rap about something else, maybe you can manifest something else. You're wrong, like you if you don't start out. Because I was watching this new show wrapped about women and he got a lot of money and women that he
never rapped about dying, that's for sure. He rapped about he made rapped about gangster ship. I just think, yeah, yeah, you know, and and and be deatty Kine and slick with and they didn't talk about busting the cap and nobody and mind you they were gangster in their time right about that ship. And Daddy came with finger popping a lot of things. I know that he imaginefested more of the finger popping. Daddy, Big we're friends in the damn too, Daddy being your dam you got stopped. You know.
We see each other the ward shows and we're talking. You look great last night. Ship like that. That's my friend. He was out here the other day. We had dinner. Really, I want to I want to go to dinner with Big Daddy. He is a legend of legends. I was around when Big Daddy did the motherfucking penhaf or whatever he was talking Madonna. Yeah, when I get out of it half the culture and I was spec outside, did you get would you hit it now? Your wife was
before you were married, before I start. Man, let's start sattering and ship. Come on like your antics are not working on me? He man, you would for good n this is the shot, this is not this is not the drink. Wouldn't you know? Would you have cocked Madonna? Would you get Madonna of the business, You have took it down. What would you have taken this? Well? Not to end up with nothing little, but if she broke
me the funk off? So that's a yes, I said, if I if I If I do that, sleeping with Madonna's gonna end up with me loving a better lifestyle than I left before. Ship let's go, but not to end up with nothing. So so now you wouldn't cock, and you were saying I wouldn't. I'm not no plaything. I'm not Madonna back in the day in the eighties. Come on, bro, I was a shot there guy. Come on, don't lie. Don't lie any Lauper, youn't cox CD Laber and I like said, I want to cock Cindy Lauber.
I was in, by the way the last year, said Madonna. But she had Dragon wasn't that? Wasn't that vanity? Vanity? Yeah, that vanity. I wasn't understand, coming right now for interview. But he wasn't into Sydney lap and bandana? Why yeah, because banana wasn't a part of the banana. That's what you just said. I mean, I get it. It was cool when Fox was around her. I was like I was around yeah, But like I mean, you can't. My childhood was different. Like I wanted the last Dragon girl.
He wanted motherfucker. Let me see. Um lost boys? Remember them, we lost boys? Remember the whole girls home? Girl, The Lost Boys know the movie, the Vampire movie, The Homegirl. Elliott Google's son was in it. Who's that, uh Keeper Southerland, Yeah, he was in he was in. No Keeping Sutherland was in it. It was his son, wasn't it him? No? His son Donald Sutherland sun Keefer we getting off. I love this. I ain't known wrong with that. Who is Sidey a girlfriend? Cyndy Law you know you know who?
I think you're still very, very beautiful. I'm sorry people say Heylen New if you can swap places with somebody who would use swap places like beyond? You know who I would swap places with. I promise you. That is this the last thing you want to say to your faster now? I don't know what she would
saying something. You would say something very introspective. I was saying that through all the bad ship that's going on in the world, it's a blessing that through COVID and ship, people have been able to create their own content, find their own lane, find their own fans, and really, um, they're only fans too fans to sorry, and you know that, I really really think that this is really like one
of the hot things. You know, this is drink chaps, Like I was like, go when I hit you in them like I want to come And I said, well, I'm not a rapidficionado. I hope that they can find things to talk to me about. And I know that we went long and all that kind of stuff or whatever. This is a highlight for me, Like celebrity will of fortune and drink chaps. That's the highlight of us. You're a legend. Let's give you your flowers again before we
wrap it up. Your legend. We can't believe how how how we knew how we knew how much fun you was gonna be, But you exceeded our expectations beyond and there more, and um, you deserve your flowers. We really appreciate that strongness. We reacually appreciate the womanhood everything that you do and you always you that aspires me. You know what I'm saying, because sometimes I even were dumb
my shit down. You know what I'm saying, I've done my ship down because I'm around this person or this person. But I'm just trying to be respectful. But comedy, and your version of comedy always reminds me. It's like, you know what, just be you because they're gonna accept you or say fuck you anyway. So your monocle exactly in BC. You work for yourself and people can fucking follow you and not follow you. And for every mother sucking you that's him people behind them, It's like, yes, this is
