Speaker 1

Welcome to Drink Champs, the production of The Black Effect and I Heart Radio and his Drink Chats motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper, He's Segre is your boy in or he's a Miami hippop and mioneer. What up is d j e f N? Together? They drinking up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast and yet number one source for drunk drink is New year' z. That's time for Drink Champs. Trink up? Mother?

Would it good? Be? Hopefully would have said me, this is your boy and what up is DJ e FN and his drink Chance? Motherfucker? Yeah, Yalla makes up a fend. We understand and we know that these two brothers right here, it's not only our friends, our family, our homies, but they are super legends. When you can talk about bar lords and you talk about people who put projects together, and they are legend with the group, they are legend together,

and they are legend individuals. These guys have stood the test of time. They're still out here looking twenty five, still just left a goddamn video ship and came right here because they still grinded you young niggers, don't understand that. In case you don't understand who the hell we're talking about, we're talking about the legendary, the impeccable, the supreme magnetic springs killing ghost. I want to start with you, uh recently, because you have my homies, I still want to do research.

So I went and I watched the documentary. I watched everything I could watch, but recently, Um, the baby. You know what's going on with the baby, and it's a controversy the baby. No, not the baby. I'm buging, um, Travis Scott, excuse me with the concept. So you hear what's going on? Yeah, people got body that day, right, right?

So immediately I go on and I look at the documentary and one of the parts of the documentary is Ghost coming out saying fun got ninety seven, Right, I merely related to I'm like, that could have happened then if y'all would have said fun have mighty seven and Nicks was said, you know, we're walking off, and y'all would have walked off, it would have been the same type of like, I don't know if y'all know how important it was, like like, because if you look at

that for this. When you say funk Hot ninety seven, the whole crowd agrees with you, Like your whole crowd is like word like you're going to say that. But you did it in Hot ninety seven at their event summer Jam. Let's let's do it. Oh yeah, let's let's get that habiki gone. Get ready one too. So let's subscribe. How did according to the documentary, right, let me let me just help out a little bit. Quart to the documentary, y'all want to rage against the machines exactly. And so

this is the only date you're not getting paid. You're getting paid for the rage against the machine. You go to come to New York. This is the hand the land of this is your home. Yeah yeah, and he was gonna strip us. Reggie kept saying, like, Yo, we don't make that event. They liable to take us off a radio you know mean yeah, it was like they take us off the radios. So we we had to make a decision, like, yo, leader event lead to lead the toal or just come and just come do this.

And yeah, we went, we left, we left, We left the fucking rage. I don't think that was I think that was not so much of a good idea to leave that because you could have went straight back on the tour, the Rage tour, right, you could have. I don't think so y'all all together, like I think that you're coming back to him. I don't recall even jumping back on that. Did we jump back on that? Right? No? I think I think y'all call that shit right. But then again, now I think we had some ship going

on but then jumped in and jumped back out. But I don't know. I might have been yeah, yeah, but I remember it was a big debate because half of us didn't want to do it and the other half was like, yo, it's politics, because I believe in that same tour, um, you have a them party, and in that platinum party, y'all go to the hood because y'all want to raise it against the machine to I believe his residents said, yeah, we went platinum and we're on perform for the White Boys, but we had to come

here tonight to celebrate the product. How how is that like? Because um, I kind of never I never was on tour with Alternative Act other than like more than two days. So how was that? Because did y'all realize that y'all was like, y'all still hood but y'all commercial now you know what it was. It's just that we was blowing up so fast that we were still looking at it on some young ship and not really realizing how big

we was. So you know, when you you know, it's like you know how it is when your career first started. It's like you're going where you're going, and then you're starting to really take a look and say, yo, this they got us on this now you know, but we knowing this big, but we really paying attention to you don't appreciate that time. We didn't appreciate it like you know what I mean. We were just having fun, you know,

covering ground. But like you said earlier about really not paying attention to mainstream how important it was, I said, we would have really knew how important mainstream was. We probably would have really got to act together even better and really handled it. But Yo, knowing that we had so many, so many people of color, like especially white people just coming out for us, it's like it was like, oh, ship,

this ship is different now you know. It's like, yo, they embraced you, you know what I mean, Like we still had the hood though, but it was like it was like we be changing like rock stars playing with that side, you know what I mean? Like they said, we didn't really understand because we're like what like that, Like it was on like like yo, you're gonna do this ship or you're gonna do this, you know what I mean? Did it just went a wire over there

and ship? And it was a big debate. It was a debate about going back, no, going to go through the hot nineties seven ship as something. Did you actually have that in your mind out? Nah? Because because because I think I think we was wanted. I think we wanted to go on last, but they put bad Boy to go on before us, and I think that's what it was. And didn't you know back then, I was wild.

I just it's just wild out, wild out plan. He was about to say seven or na, na, we just wanted to just everybody so anybody had your your back on stage or how did that mean? At that time? It was like yeah, it was like what you gonna done of the stage is like nine nigga were hit. Yeah, So I think we I think we was more or less like that that he wanted. He wanted, he wanted the bust shots and yeah, pe it didn't do it. So it was that and it wasn't really playing us

like that we got the triumph. It just it seemed like it got like I don't know, man, it was it seemed like it was a force behind us, gonna seem like, Yo, they speaking the truth? Why these niggas you know what I mean? Cut their ship down a little bit? So when we dropped trying, that ship went double platinum whatever at that time, and it was like, yo, not, why are we not hearing our ship like that? Like

why are we not you know what I'm saying? So Yo, all that ship was combined, all that ship like that, and it was could be sometimes yeah, man, fuck it I was so felt. Yeah, but you know, but it's like I remember when we first started and it's like nine seven is down for us and we was down for them, and it's like it really yeah, it took off and you know, we was blowing together, you know what I mean. You know we had something to do with that. Then all of a sudden, you know, um,

the dynamics changed or whatever. It's like a lot of motions involved with business and you know, next thing, you know, for some reason, they just really stopped supporting our ship. So now we're still blowing, we're still doing, we're doing, but still looking at it like damn, why we ain't getting no love back on? You know what I mean?

What's going on? What's what's really going on? But at that time, the game was just it was it was changing in its own way, meaning like you know, now people that's up there that's really excited about the music, now it's like now everybody's playing chess now, like, yo, what you bringing to the table? Now? You know what you mean? When we're bringing to the table, we are

the table tables because we were speaking the truth. But you know what I mean, you got you got brothers coming in as guards, and it's like, yo, y'all coming with the truth. And I'm thinking, like that's what I thought, Like it's a power that somebody that did on something like Yo, slow Nick's damn like this is that and we're not hearing our ship and we know trying for his banging at that time, you know what I mean?

So Yo, it just it just happened and that fund us up though, Like when I didn't say play your records, like what you had to be friends feeling yeah, because because of that, that's why they didn't play the Regor saying, because what happened, we bout shout yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, holy ship. But we gotta love for High ninety seven. Yeah he had to build that ship again.

You know what I'm saying. You know, it's crazy. I just had dinner with Steve Ripkin, and Steve Rippin looks to me and I'm telling him that about the end of y'all and I'm telling him, I said, one of my first questions is I wanted to ask Cools. I wanted to know this for myself, that this ain't even like journalist or this is me for myself. And he goes, you know what, nor how many seven was almost built for Wou Tang And I said what, Yeah. He said

that it was a rhythmic station at first. It was a crossover station at first, and y'all Records was being so much that they called him and said, we're gonna change the whole station in the hip hop for woo did you'll know some just currazy. So when he just said that this now, I was like, I knew he didn't know that. Julie just hit me with so I looked. I was just like, all right, cool, let me keep

that in my registry. But that that's that's crazy for it to go from from one extreme to the next, like them literally saying like you know, Carest wanted to being the voice Woo Tang's gonna build it before them, and then because it wasn't you know, from what I heard, it's not too ten years ago. That number one station is like, you know, the number one station in l a number one station in New York. Start paying they artists now for their summer jams. For years they were.

They was like, yo, we're the number one market. If you want to be played, y come. But meanwhile they're playing Rocket and Tops. They're playing like you know, the dudes, it's not from the coach and they hired a number so it's it's it's been a it's been a it's been the dynamic has changed the radio now, but radio don't really matter. Like I think y'all proved that. I think that the band on wood Tang never affected a

wood Tang fan. Let them let me explain to that a real ru Tang fanatic wasn't going to Hot ninety seven and listen to your ship neither anyway, who's saying that? What's going out to go see? And remember you had to go get the albums at that time. You want to know who produced that. You want to know. This is math what I'm saying. So I think that y'all, y'all transition from that because y'all was the people that

were still successful. Like you said, Triumph was two million and probably had just a couple of spends on any seven. So did y'all feel that effect that y'all feel like, did you regret it? Because it was you, you the leader? Did you? I thought, Wow, it's like you're not hanging your ship. You're not hanging your ship in your own hometown.

And it's like, yeah, it was like and then we we've sitting meetings and Rizzon will sit there and explain, like, Yo, we funked up, you know what I mean, and brothers just like, YO, we should have told you we shouldn't stayed on the tour, and it's saying the dirt. And then it's like yo, like you said, like saying you and yet with like yo, we couldn't get on you know what I mean? So yeah, that that that kind of like sucked us up. But what's crazy is I

think you said it earlier. It's only a couple of groups that transitioned like you guys, that's that's state exactly who you are. You do guys, don't change, don't compromise, don't compromise. But y'all cross civil group. But just but just like DMX is the same way, I've never seen DMX calm rest in peace piece he you go to his shows, I would go hang out with him, go to the shows. It would be nothing but white people there, and I'm like, whoa, they don't They can't relate to Timberlands,

can't relate to Yonkers, but they did. So it reminds me of y'all because you know, y'all was like the first like hip hop would stock type of group. Like what I mean by that is I would look at your shows and y'all started out and look from the outside looking at because I've seen reason on the rapperence clubs. To him all, you used to do shows for nothing, but then for me live from the outside look at then it's all seemed like y'all went straight to festivals

Like it wasn't like that, Nah, it was longer story. Yeah, we we was up in them more joints all that. Yeah, that came a little. It went fast, though, it went fast. We had our spots, but it was like for some reason the whole world was just gravitating to it and before you know what, we wanted up going these fucking festivals. But it was cool though, But but we had to

We had to go through the mill too. At the same time, fighting in clubs doing ship were out there in the in the in the in the Midwest and the down south and getting shot. He's pulled out on us, like you know what I mean, like just all that ship getting jerked for like a hunter of bill. He was giving us fake hunt of bills, all that ship, all that. So we went through that ship. But it's just like it seemed like overnight we was in them fucking big ass fields out there perfore for like look

like means of people, you know what I mean. So at one time we went somewhere, we went to this hotel. There wasn't nobody in the hotel. I'm talking about, no people. Maybe that spot we was at it we somewhere in like fucking Scandinavia or the cat running around. Nah, the ship was crazy. You remember we watched the fight in the arm We watched the sad Judah fight. We was down in the lobby like in the reception office, like nobody wasn't there. We was on the phones and there everything.

Like if somebody came in there and they got a bone, it was like he was right there, like, yo, what you want yo'ing off? Yeah, we had the whole fucking old child originally when your first trial for the first nine, right, but you didn't then you had the ball, then you have mook you yeah, yeah, ye goes to the two others that wasn't a part of the group that travel with y'all. What I'm saying that they was part of

the management team. Okay, so you know there was like the road managers and you know, making sure that niggas get to what they gotta go, you know. But yeah, because that must have been the worst job to manage all y'all. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, because to be honest, like and you know this is how I talk about y'all behind your back, there would never be another thing. There will never be another nine. But with everybody with daggers, like everybody shot like everybody like I love how risive.

In the beginning of the documentary, we describe each one like I believe he called you. I don't know he called you because I broke this down. Ghost Face Killer in the Karate Flip was the most dangerous person in the Karate Flip. You missed me a chech boxing, Yeah, mistery, It's like, yes's what I got my name from. It was they had front on him like earlier in the years. His son came back like twenty years later and just

started doing damage, you know what I mean. But I fell in love with the name though when I went because had his watching all that ship, you know what I mean, like like just just flick at the flick. But for some reason, they just had a ring to it, and it was like, Yo, that's my ship, you know what I mean? Yeah, yea definitely. And and and the msterr chest box you in that video you had on I had on yet you had Yeah, I had the mash on stock And Cat's on the right being seen.

I don't want to be seen. He's on the rock. But see that he was wearing it. He was wearing it because you know, he was fresh out of the Street, so soon you know, we knew ghosts. We know his name was ringing and stating now crazy. So even around that time is like what you was. You had to keep you, you know, you had to keep you going you and yeah, yeah, definitely Snip was just in everything. So we are young thos are young days, you know, I mean, ask you, do you ever think that M. F.

Doom took that from you? Because when I spoke to Doom, he didn't say he didn't say that, but I think a little bit of his Ryan pattery, you know what I mean. We want to play close to each other. He just dude, I love Doom Pete. He's like he was because I'm telling me him, like yo, we should do like a two or five thing, like just trying to move these you know the music, you know what i mean. Yeah, music, I give you that, you know

what I mean, these little tapes or whatever. It caps me a little five piece of little five record, you know what I'm saying. So but he was, you know, chicking in this ship and then he just wish thories like you know, I got my ship from you, you you know what I mean? You know what I mean, Like my aunt said, I'm like a word and it was just all love. It was love though, but I didn't know. I thought he was talking about the style of his rat like you know both. I think he got an

image here. Yeah, but you know what I mean. But uh, and that's that was it. So I'm like, oh, ship, ain't no doubt, no doubt. So let me ask you what's the difference between him? And asked that Bronson, I know this was coming Nazi. What should mean the difference? Like the different because obviously buns right, So Bronson had the voice right. Uh, as far as the style, because I created I went to Africa and I just created a style that yeah cool, I created a style also

like it let me create. Well, this was no music because I was dead in the village. So I'm like, no music there, whatever the case may be. So I'm like, I'm gonna just create somewhere. It's like, just come with a bunch of words that really they just sound good together. Really didn't really mean ship. It's funny because motherfucker tried to decipher the ship and it's like, Nigga, I don't even know what the fun is. But so when I did like nothing made and wanted all that ship like that.

It's like, yo, and that's what led to that ship. But then you know, it started getting back to me like y'o, my fucker's don't know what you're talking about and it's not in the thirst. So I said, you know what, I let me just calm down on this ship. You know what I mean? If I out putting me someone else and ship, you know what I mean? But yeah, but action he had the voice like I played something like my man, my engineer played me one thing one time. I'm like, Yo, who the heck? He's like, Yo, I

thought it was me, you know what I mean? It was me. I thought it was me. You heard him and you thought it was me? Yeah, Yo, But I don't remember right now. Ship, That's what I'm saying. So I'm like, oh, ship, But you know I bumped it to him one time a few times in your at fucking uh the ship south by Southwest. He was cool. He was man cool with ship, like like like yo, dat each other up? He choking like yo, Yo, I don't. I don't mean the sound like you like, I'm not

doing it on purpose, you know what I mean? Exactly, And that's how I always shook it with him, you know, like how how what's this money? Name? How Shinn and Gorilla Black was sounding like big you know that like that. I just thought, you know, sometimes your vocal course could be that way, but I didn't. I just didn't never knew that he was gonna jump out the window on me, right, because what happened after that? Um? Someone asked them ESPN but exactly and um maximum um yeah yeah yeah exactly.

But what did they ask him? And then he said something and he just like yo, lost it? Yeah, he said, ghost don't do that style? Yeah, yeah, some ship like that. Like I wasn't all no more. So I'm not like because but you play. But it's like I don't even know what pushed them to go over there, like that did you play? When you when you? When I responded when newss I played, I just went to you know what it is? It was it was m P. But

I didn't have nothing funt listen, he said. When I'm on the road with y me and very on the road, it's sit and I just get the call like yo, the sneaker went in, So I'm like, well work, I get back to the hotel like later on that night and you know, I just got on ESPN and I see him go in on me. But we couldn't get the studio time or nothing like that to get ahead and do whatever they do. So I'm like, yo, I just told my man, like, yo, just o this ship.

Then I listened to fly Ship, you know what mean, Me and Ray we stay there, you know Old Jay's flash it like that whatever whatever. So that was just one of the tracks that just happened to be going off my ship. So I told my man this in the morning time to but I was in the morning when we're about to check out, so hold on because he came to get my bags. So I'm like, yo, listen for called this, you know what I mean, and just spit whatever. That was not rehearsed. I just threw

it at him, you know what I mean. And that was it. And it was the hardest reply ever in hip hop. You know, I ain't nigga from our generation knew exactly what he was talking about. It's like it's like that was then, you know, because the pressure was kind of like a little bit too, you know, because I heard everybody was on on on him, you know

what I mean. But um, I was expect him for what he do, you know, as a man, as a person, you know what I mean, and um, sometimes we make mistakes, you know what I mean, and um, you know, and even if I see them today, it's like, yo, I'll dab him and show him some love. We never smoke at that, never speak up spoke after that though. Probably know that was raised man. Yeah, but your bet because I've seen one ship. I've seen one ship a picture

we were soon where we've seen him ray. But you know, I guess he was talking to you and the picture got me laughing like like, oh, like look at the Nike of overhead and ship. I think even I think he's seen that, and that's probably what made him saying I make to me, you don't make because yeah, like like like like like if I'm laughing at him, at him while he's talking the ray because I'm in the background over here laughing at something else whatever it was,

but it wasn't about him. So I'm thinking that that might have been or whatever that made him go out like that or whatever. But no, I haven't have it out for you. Yeah, I have a spec phone. Didn't have it out of no way, like you said, I think it was just that he got caught up and got tongue twisted in this, but you don't bring me in there like that. Oh yeah, you know. Yeah, it's like y'all, come on, man, we this is this is real life around It's like, yo, it's like I've been

chilling for a minute. But it's like he hit me right away too. I was like, man, you don't fuck up. I said, you don't funked up. I said, yeah, I'm gonna try to fix it. But at the time, yeah, yeah, yeah,

he reached out. He reached out right away because like he said, he knew I had a relationship with him through through people I was fucking with, and you know, honestly, I really felt like he just you know, he got caught out their word wordplay wise, and I'm, you know, I'm trying to let him know, like y'all keep telling like, yo, you gotta call him, you gotta, you know, speak to that man man on man and and apologize based on that. But at that time, I don't think the communication was

was getting back to you. You was just already lit up, like just from the shockness. Like he because when I met him stop by Suthway it's like y'a ma, chef, I do this whatever, whatever, whatever, And I'm like, yo, listen, man, this is rap music, bro. You know what I mean. Sometime I'm motherfucking Mike look up to you, or even just like I said, your tone might be the same tone, you know what I mean. It's like what you're gonna do, that's how God made him, you know what I mean.

So I looked at it like that, like I said, Sean and and and the Black and I'm like, yo, yo, this man, it's that's hours Ship came out, and then you got brothers like nah ghost na na, na, No, he's not trying to go. And I'm like, damn, I'm saying to myself and they you gotta be a comedian, say me five sibility doing ship like that, you know what I mean. So, but it is what it is. Like I said, Yo, alls shout out to action. You know what I mean. Love is love. I see him

out there, you know, doing this thing. I would not to do music. I would not to do music, but you know what I mean, And that's it is over with man, you knowing, man, then listen. So another part of the documentary identified with you immediately was you was the only one from Stapleton. Everyone else is from podcast from the Hill? See everyone else who way to everyone from Queensbridge. Hope thinks I didn't realize how much I related to you. I was like, wait a minute, me

on the low, I always too, I was waiting. I probably amn't raiding in other issues, but from that, I'm like, damn, that's like so but Risid and just as your cousin, that's Richard cousin. Oh, just as Risider cousin when you were rising his cousins. No, okay, where did you get start child? My sister? Okay you what I got children? My sister? Okay I did Yeah, yeah, exactly, yeah, so dirt dirt Rizard and just the family right yeah, but yeah we're from the state though, from the Stapleton from

the Hill. And and how how far is that a way? Walking? Is like what? Right? Like but like Sam minutes ten minutes? I'm like that, Yeah, you don't went to the same school. I'm sorry you said to stay to the park else for team minutes away? Just moving over here, that's walking. We didn't like five minutes. If you let's than that you're driving so so so um, yeah, we went to school night centers and all that ship like that. But like I tell people, it's like, yo, it was just

something about them in the eighties. They just had that. It was some flashit about them like Park Balleys, Clark, Silk Song, Go front slide, you know what I mean, Like David they was getting. Is that where the Wolf Store winded up being that woof stores on the first few stores on victims. Yeah, yeah, it's a bunch of yeah. Yeah, that was a victim. Yeah. And you're too oldest to your two brothers. Yeah yeah, so you always have the

hold of that. Yeah for the most part. Yeah, because you know we were those are the all I got is you days, you know what I mean. Yeah, that was the days of real life days right there, Like you know what I mean. So so yeah, that that that was very important part of my life right there, you know what I mean, running the streets being the oldest and you know, having to check your brothers, you

know what I mean, family and ship you know. Now I go, yes, household was crazy, you know me, But um, at the end of the day, A long had another plan, you know what I mean. That's where we have right now, so let me ask you out both of this question. Right, you're both trying to come off. Just a video comes out? Do me? Come do come? Yeah, come doing me. When I came out, yo, I was happy, Yo, and I've seen that. I was like, this came out after I

came or this is before. This is like the first. Yeah, he was the first though, But when I first heard it, it was like because we already knew he knew how the round. But when he did the shop, when he did the video and all that, and he caught the deal, I was I was already on the same page with Rizen them, like really just watching them niggas from the side, like way before the woe days. I'm watching these niggas like these niggas especial right here, you know what I mean.

So when jess you know, he did the video shoot Riz it called me then, so he was like, yo, video huh Riz, Well you know riz Riz risen from stating, you know, but jess is his first cousin and you know them, they always had that relationship. So it seemed like Rizzle was already paying attention to what Jessu was about because he taught him out a round too, you know what j rizide irund, you know what I mean, and he gave him knowledge or shelf. So it was

like that was somebody who he really loved. And it's like when he caught the deal, it like Rizzle was coming back to the neighborhood saying like, Yo, you know my cousin is in you know what I mean. Boom boom boom. But at that yeah, he was in yeah Brooklyn Kit. So you know, we knew Jig from the block. But Jiser never really hung out like that and stat down because he had a sister lived doctor. So it's

like watching watching Riz and j a connection. I'm sitting over there like a fly on the wall, like, Yo, this name got a record deal. Like we see the album. Yeah, we wrong lobbying and we canet lobby boys, you know what I mean. But at the end of the day, it's like big up Jim and man, you know what I'm But it's like, you know, for us just to see somebody that we know from the community, you know, with the record deal, that ship kind of like I

was like, oh, ship, you see the album covering? She let me see the album cover, you know, looking at the credits and oh this ship is for real, This ain't no no floozy ship, you know, and automatic glee. You know, it was a certain attraction that I had to both for them because I felt like, wow, I think just did something that nobody has stat now and never really did. On the rap tip, you know, we had to four some ds and all that I did,

so they was already raining. But on the rap side of things, Jesse was the first one that we've seen that really accomplished something so automatically. You know, Rizzi he felt entitled to it because his cousin what was that. Yeah, but you know, just just being able to see them had their own you know, creation made from a hip hop side automatically. I was intrigued by that. So they invited me to come to the come do me said,

you know, yeah, I was Nigga. I was there, Nigga go back to the ship again, you know, but I was the painting that like I was hating. But they asked me though, because it was like I remember, it was me dirty me dirty showed up, you know what I mean. It was Rizzin me dirty and Rizzen going to just sh So they asked me. I remember they actually said, yo, you want to beat them, one of the main dudes in the video f and I was like, of course. I was like nah, I was shocked. Nah,

I can't do it. I ain't even anything like that. So I was like, fucking, I'll played the painting role while he yeah, I picked it. It's dirty and dirty, did the role that they wanted me to do. At first, you know, you're dancing all in the middle of the video, but um yeah, that's when I was really just just wanting to just watch him from the outside in. But at that time, it was like I wasn't even really still trying to check for a record deal. I was

watching my niggas do it to their best ability. So you know, but Jesser, he opened up the door for all of us to be motivated like that, you know, because once he passed the church to u rizer Rizon, once we knew he was fully in it. Then now sparks start flying now, you know, because that reminds me a story for me when I was in jail, I've got to see I canntly come out. I can let this from my neighborhood, from seven Street, I can at

this from ninety nine Street. I believe it. If I got it wrong, sorry, but I Fleeve's Night nine Street. And one thing about I was I was in jail, so my appreciation might have been a little different. One thing about I was came out with the bomb baby, then he went straight into some vagina diner ship, and I was just like, that's not us, like, you know, that's not left right, that's not what we represent like and so it was a part of me that said, you know, minute I get my chance, I'm gonna do

it my way. Was there anything that came across because both of those records, come and get me, what's it? Come and get comes? You come to me? I love your king right right does not reflect Wove Tank at all. So and there's the eighties when they came out right right, no, no, no, like so we love people kam ship right, what's one he did? He did off of the other Denise Williams joint right? Did you do that? Yeah? Before that came out, we used to be in the credit because Riz we

used to go there and record. He used to made all the beats for like all the hill niggers, you know what I mean? Me all of a ship like that but he had to o we love it used to bang out like, oh we love you. It was fat over that barn, you know what I mean. Din he swings, so so I wasn't mad at him when he when when he did that, but he just didn't get the feedback like he wanted, you know what I mean.

He was to record. He was on time, me boy, yeah, and I think that was the last time he was one time to remember at that time though, you know, Kane and them was doing anything heavy and Kane had that female you know, he had that support. So a lot of them labels were still trying to follow that trend, trying to make jisser that way, you know what I mean, not really paying attention to these niggas really being skillful.

They're looking at it more like, Yo, we need somebody to come out on that on that lot, you know, Yo, we need you to be this radio king. So even though these brothers knew that they had the potential to do that, that wasn't really what they was there for. That's not really what they wanted to do. But you know, getting the record deal back then you're a blessed man,

know what I mean. You know, so, yeah, so at that point, it's like, Yo, there ain't nothing for them niggas to write those kind of rooms and do it. And it's like I remember up in the hill we when we set and when he's like, you get the funk out of here with that ship, because we already knew he had the potential for some other's ship, like he had takes out there. That was yeah, I'm telling about residential. Both of them niggas like them niggas. We

knew about their rhymes. So when they came with those records, we was like, this, that ain't going you know what I mean, not hating, but just being honest because we knew that that wasn't them. So I think they had to walk that path to be like, you know what, We're gonna try to do it they way, but if it didn't work, we gotta do what we want to do. Because that's my next question. Right, you got two of

the two of the head honchos of the crew. They had a record there, but it actually doesn't work for the most part. I mean, they do come out, they do have a video, they do have a single, but they're not out the hood. What made y'all say I still believe in y'all because any most people, most people would say, you're already you already failed. Wa Like you pack bags. As soon as you got off the store, the bags broke. So it's either looked doubleing up on

the bags, bag bags. What made y'all say, fuck it, let me double up on the back. They was ill. It was especially this ship. I heard it, just the just the rhalms along Genius and Resid. I'm a fan, yo, And it was like they were saying ship, deadly ship. Especially Genius he was saying deadly ship that could have hungay chaining them. That he just y y'all never knew that that they offered them to gonna be a part of the Juice crew just turned it down. It was like he was in he was in God dimension on

some five percenting ship. But it wasn't like he was signed. Yeah, so you know, he was right there, but you know they wanted them to be involved, you know what I mean. But I guess for him, he was just in his own world and he was, you know, five percenting to the fullest. So you know, but we always knew they potential. So, like you said, when they came back around, what they You know, I wouldn't call it a failure. I just call it a They didn't that was in day Land.

It wasn't a failure. But for us, it was like, yo, they represent Staton Alan, you feel me. Stat Allen was one of the last boroughs to even be heard of because Niggas was scared to get on the ferry and right across that water to come see us. So you know, our think was, Yo, they set it off. We got to hold them there by any means so they could come back. So we was. We were so happy for them, just because of the fact that you know, Niggas got

a real certified record deal. You know, were in the streets still, we still running from T and T and you know, detectives coming up and down the block chasing they get. So to see that, it was like, oh, ship, whether you lost some one, you still want the US. And when I think my research, they said that they technically called stating on the most racist barrel that it is. Don't get locked up them, don't get locked up. And my mate, my man from Canada, not to cut you off.

They locked him up for some weede right, And it's so crazy because you know he sat now and cops. They're funny. They're like, yo, you want to get out and work. There's a small ship. I'll worry about that ship. They had him like for like three days and ship. So you know he wasn't you know he for my Canada. He was like, yo. When he got out of it, he was like, Yo, I'm calling the fucking I'm calling the government on these things. They wrong, not right, he said, Yo.

They put him in the cells and ship and piss. Oh yeah, yeah, he was writing right in the right in the precinct. They was ragging him and like, you know, you know my brother that just came home, right, I got him with me. I want you to meet. Yeah, I'm so so so. I had one of my layid some man hand trying to come and take his case. Man lawyer came to stand down and and had to

face he stand down and niggers. Well, yo, he said, yo, it's a it's a circle, a circle of them where they was like they was treating like ship would let the sneak get him getting there for nothing, like you know what I mean, like yo, disrespecting him sat down. Yeah, a different way. He just gave my man twenty five years for body he didn't catch. He just came home, like he just came home literally like a year, and

I had two years ago. So it's like he did all that time based on these niggas lives on nig He got generated, he got some actual innocence, innocence he didn't then wants you to say he gonna give him, Yo, what I mean? Yeah? He Yo, motherfucker's through an evidence away. The killer draft has hat. They picked up the hat you and the hat contained DNA. It's like, Yo, all of a sudden, they lost the hat. They lost the hat, and it's more ship than that. That's just the ship.

I'm like, Yo, what the fuck you got the lady or the cop the lady on the ship talking about Yo. Yo, we're chasing him right now, nicking five five in a certain amount of waves. My man like skin is skinny, you know what I mean? He ain't fat, you know what I mean? Like Yo? Yeah, that now, and that's that's great system. The system. That's what every cop in the fun up cop. Yeah, you know what I'm saying that. But you know, back then, them cops show they was

wearing their hats backwards. They meet you in the steadcase, like four thirty in the morning, they're smoking with the niggas parked. They fucking they scooted this and ship like ten blocks away because they know that. You know, if

you see the schooter, they know they're around. Like these were these were different kind of cops, Like you'd be like, yo, this ship is parked behind the school and ship like SNI got his ship over there, sneaking up on niggas and there on the roofs and you know, being real bold with it. The cops is different out there, but then you had some nice cops too, you know what you know. But it's a system though, yeah, it's system, different system, it's all the system back then. Yeah, yeah,

but back to the resident is a thing though. Like we said, we just we're just seen flowers around them, like yo, y'all golden. You know, y'all might have had to take those shots to really come back because me, I always used to tell them anyway when they was doing anything, like y'all, when y'all get it right, you gotta run through these blocks with us again because some of us that yeah, yeah, we was you know, mess

my so goes deck. Niggas had tapes out in the street already, so it was like Rizzard knew about it. But at the same token, he was like to us the king of it because he had that situation already. So he knew about certain niggas because we was hearing yes ship when coming from Stapleton and they could be walking through with the radio. Yo, that sun, that's that stuff that sun. God. Yes, they had to weed up there and y'all projects had problems, right oh yeah, always

always always always, So how the fun come close? Like this? How did this happen? It's like, uh together and them, Yeah, just like Rids brought it together because I knew they was nice. When did your first meeting? When did y'all two?

First we were in the same school. We was in j J Junior Junior high school and all that grade nah, junior high was like yeah, yeah, yeah, we was like not in the dumb class, but we was in the class after the smart niggas after was yeah, because we was in like a yeah, we was writing in the middle. But now yo yo. Was so funny because because the school was like right across the street from his neighborhood, so you know, we all up and then ship the

teacher and ship Niggas is snapping on the teacher all day. Yoda. That ship just made the teacher ill snap after that, like this snig he knew how to get busy, y know. He was saying crazy ship like nick come and looking crazy like yo, man, I had a shirt like that one soon and my mother got a job saying like that, like you're looking at him like she was like, go get your father, get your father. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah that's that's what's his name was, yeah, Mr Foster. Yeah,

he's following him home. Yeah yeah, definitely Black teacher ship though one he was live. But me and ghost you know, like I said, we was in the same classes, laughing, you know what I mean, going to the lunch room. Niggas is showing what they're wearing, gelling and doing all those other ship. Yeah, I remember, I remember a ghost

man and ships. His name is Sane. The Niggas came off with with um with a bag like a Brinks truck, like a Brinks truck at the corner and the bag fell out, the bag and Niggas can't I remember that ship clear his day because it was like it was it was like normal. It was like six staple ten niggas that came in with sheets his on the school like yo, yeah, niggas get this money from the nigga bag. How you know how you fold the hunting out the bills, make rings out of him. They came to school like

that Gazales Big Puffy Goose song. It's like, yo, it was listening listen like I said it was. It was a bank on the corner right over there by um By, Um what's the name in the back of um Stapleton. It's a bank right this CNB Bank. And it's like, yo, the truck used to come through this they got the money some ship like that, but um word, I remember asking saying about it. He was like yo. He was on the corner wing for the busting company. He was

like yo. The truck came swinging around the corner and the ship just fucking bust open and the fucking trade fell out. The niggas win and grabbed the tray. It was about like thirty grand That's what the niggas came to school first to day. I'm talking about VS. What about V goo sys Like you gotta remind you you know, this is like eighty four. You know she skin ship. You know if you had the sheepskin with these niggers had the mintens, nigga said, he said, he's thinking that

had the socks on. Yo, he's y'all remember Beaver's Yeah, you know Suavee fronts. You know what I mean. That's when we was looking at these niggers like, yo, niggers that got me. They started, they got me stealing this ship. Then there's two different stealing rob Yeah, I didn't get money. Take one of these more lives. It's that good for the whiskey with it's no, not no, not no whiskey. I'm not ready to gluten heads whiskey. Baby, I don't, I don't. I don't have man drink. Yeah, so ken't

we talking about your can the other shot? So tell us about the video that the shot. Yo. We just shot this video for my record, um my album coming out called Scarlet Fever. The song the name of this song is called green Haven. You know what I mean? Just yeah, just thinking about our niggers and ship. But on the video is about it's like a poker game going on that I'm at at after I was spot and um, you know I'm I'm winning. I'm creaming him, and I get a drink, I get a complimentary drink,

and and somebody puts something my drinking. Yeah, I was kind of funked up for a minute. So I'm trying to get back to the vehicle to kind of like revise myself with with some um, with something I had in the car that would help me, you know, rehabilitate myself. And you know next to you know, I didn't make it, but you know, some female that was up in the spot, she went down stairs with me, I guessing, you know, her own little way, and we can't revised me. She was able. I was hit me with the ir V,

boosting me back up. So now I'm going back in there on some other ship, but still playing the game, like trying to figure out, you know, who did this to me. But um, it's just really like a combination. So it's called green Haven. Yeah, so um, you know the combination of the video is like, um, like a Casino royal mixed with like a good fella's robe, you know, pick shoot dog yeah, don shoot you know he can't through for yeah, but um, yeah, but you know, like

I said, it's just something that. You know, I'm about to throw out, you know, just to get back on the scene and give Nigga some different ship to look at, getting some different ships to check out. So let me. Yeah. Look um, So we watched y'all do the verses. Okay, cool, y'all brothers, you gotta take shots to each other really, like dad, did we see these other brothers? We see them your dip session, the locks. You see the Fat Joe, the j'ab ruth, and they can take shots, still be friendly.

We're still guarding each other. My question to y'all this with two men with y'all like to go against m HM in verses because y'all going against each other was it was beautiful? But we know your brothers. Yeah, you know, you know what. I don't know what happened because the origin promire with we were talking to Rigind like Yo, listen, you gotta do this and do that and do that thirties and you gotta be beasty up there. This COMMI

is fucking crazy, you know what I mean? So Ray hit me with the ship like yo, I guess what wherethy was over? He was like, Yo, we should do it. We should do our own ship like you know what I mean. First he was like, yo, we should do it, We should do it on our own platform and should like go. You know, I'm like, you know what, that might be right, might be right, you might got some might you know, gut got something right there. So, um,

I had check, I had check. I told check, and I guess he reached out to to Swiss like earlier before, way before we did this ship, you know what I mean. And then um, when you're saying tech DJ yeah, yeah yeah, because he DJ vote us two you know what I mean, South to check locks Rock Yeah, they did the fat Joshi Yeah exactly. So um, you know, one day I just got the call from Swiss. From Swiss, I'm like, yo, salon lagom. He's like, you know what it is? You

didn't got that voice sometimes Ship. I'm like, oh thick yeah yo yo yoo yo. Bone got right on the phone him and Rad shouted it up or whatever and then he got back to or something because the time it wasn't right and Ship around the time we did it. It was around that time he got back and Ship. So I don't know, like who we really would go going to ring with? I wouldn't I don't know, like ideas, I gotta tell he got I know who who that

we had to go after? The locks man sticking too much in my mind right now, I thought, no, but why didn't come down? I was like that lot of styles and the locks is all three want to be a duel against. But it don't even manage it, you know. To me, it's like because at that time, I thought you couldn't come back again. I thought you I didn't know that because we're making up the rules just came about. I didn't, you know, I didn't, you know, because I just thought he just did fast and then and that's

over with, Like you know what I mean. I didn't know you could come back again like they just said did like you one as. So it's so I'm dead. But he's right though, because he's right yo. Yeah yeah, that's I'm saying. He came he came back, he said that, mr. Yeah. Yeah, but that's the only you know, because other than other than them, I don't really I'm gonna throw something out, yeah nah, you know, on different vibes, but that's not

but see, you know, that's why he said. That's why, that's why you're thinking like a right, the locks because it's that same vibe, you know what I I mean, So it wouldn't need I don't see, I don't cast. I'm probably outcast. Is ill, don't they they're stupid ill. But you know it's a benefit the Dungeon family that gets brute. Is that the benefit because that probably would be ill old old up to somebody. The bug is right now

going against three six moms momsy does are groups? You deal with the claim, you with the group, but just me and Raid, just me and Raid. I think you might gotta find like New York pieces. I like Styles and Kiss because it's like their unofficial group. That's not an official group. That's that's an official group, right, just like y'all group. It does really rup right, there's an unificial reservation that we should we should make a group.

We should be a group that makes no sense and a lot of sense of the same time, because people going your ready ghost forever, we are never addressed. You're coming to fly nig or something like something. The strongest ship I mean I always I always looked at us is as Gambino men. You know we're Gambinos because it's like we grew up under that cold in the street, like the same way to mafia was and stat now because we we live like maybe like ten fifteen minutes

wait for them niggas. So you know when I said who Gambinos, it's only because it made sense because I haven't I haven't knew this man enough to really love him at that time. But we do good things together. We know how to excel, we know how to grow, you know what I mean. And I just looked at all my niggas like that, and that's what made Wuchang to me, was so ill because of the fact that you know, you had niggas that was doing their own thing.

It wasn't even paying attention to connect them. So it's like, you know, you're hustling with niggas that you might not really love, but you love him now because y'all share something. So to me, it was always a crown family, like like, Yo, we knew this niy was dangerous, you know what I mean. It's like, Yo, you might not even know it, but niggas is in the back of you, like check the snag out right. You keep an eye on him because he's want of them, you know what I mean. He

could creak a snap in a minute. You know, he was looking at you like that, you know what I mean, same way niggas is looking at everybody else. I remember one time Meth was mad at me and you know, he said some ship to me that he brought it back to the block and I'm like, wow, you bringing that up. You know what I mean, like you can bringing out. He was really tight with me and ship. He took it back to like, yo, Niggi, you was gonna do this to me? Like y'all, I would never

do that. I love you, but did I have to think about it like you're frightened right like you would have probably wanted to try. And so you know that's what may gus a like a mobster click. Because everybody had their own walk. We had our own walk, and we came together. We all walked in that room together and agreed on something. So to me, We're gonna always be Gambinos, always be Gambinos, you know what I mean?

Back to like the same, you know, and you know back to what I was saying about, you know, like he said, Yo, we new York, Maika. So for me, I like to see real battles. It ain't about it, bet I got weird. Yeah, that's and corrupt. Oh the mag it's dangerous, Toots corrupt. That's it. They're dangerous. Danger just made the match. I'm gonna get thirty per left like that. But so I love I love the lots Man, the Niggas. The Niggas is like us all we love

him in real life. The box still makes me go right, yeah, it's like fired. I don't get inspired by like rat no more, you know what I mean. But at the time when Biggie and Nas and you know what I mean, Mom, you would all the way, you know what I mean, come on, Like it was like, okay, let me go and I and I'm looking forward your brothers albums coming MP hole. But that's all New York. It was. It was like that conglomerate. It was just like that conglomerate.

But I don't I don't get it really that much inspired no more, Maybe because I'm not really hearing it go off like that because a lot of other ship is floating away or whatever. But um, when I hear a couple of pieces coming from Lax and all that ship like that, you know what I mean, It'll be like, oh ship, you know what I mean, and just you see in the garden like that, I can see. I can see y'all going against that isn't corrupted to I can see it because they got a lot of hits

to anything is the opposite to track. Okay, I never looked at it from that lest yea a part of the whole rowhole. They could They can pull out a lot of things. Yeah, it's a lot of niggats to pull out. Yeah, it's a lot of niggas that could do. Ship to me, honestly, like, it's only about that list. But one thing I'm the one thing about the versus anybody could win if your list is right. It's all about your lists. So it ain't really about you getting

blown your head getting blown off. It's just all about you being strategic with what you think he may come out with and encounter, you know what I mean. But it's changing also your showmanship now because like, yeah, but I'm gonna be honest with you. When they was doing all that, you know what i mean, whiling on each other, I respected because it was a knight of battling, you

know what I mean. When you're battling, you battling, even though it's friendly competition, Like, to be honest with y'all, Me and this man set it off with that because we was the ones that came before everybody else. So me knowing how important it is to see real competition, I knew I had to start talking ship with this dude because I needed him to know that, Yo, this is what the people want, you know what I mean.

So we're gonna give him that at its finest. And when I said I'm bringing my knife is because I know this niggers, I'm bringing my knife. I'm coming to cut you. So it's like you're getting cut and he's like, yo, you're getting shot. So we kind of like started the whole beef and atmosphere. But when I see everybody else going out and it's like it was interesting, it was fun.

I knew they all loved each other. And then the day I was just hoping, like like Style said, nobody don't talk no Frank stand ship, you know what I mean. But the old hands like just in case, just in case, like the locks is overdone right now, it's mp a possibility, said, just a case of lock, because you know they did Jan Releasa and to keep it in New York just in case they don't like the Dazzer. It's mop options. Listen, everybody's an option. If you ask me, if you ask me,

if you ask me, he said, he't battle anybody. He don't care if you But but but it's like it's it's for hip hop and it's and it's really just remembering the joints that we made that was moments. You know, I don't look at it like it's a hundred percent threat. You know, It's like watching the Cane and Caress. It's like, yo,

we love both of them. That's how I look at us with the lots like yos, Like you want to have people, you don't have people say whatever, whether we battle, whoever we battle, but it's all about that fucking list. So you gotta make sure your lists like like a machine gun, especially for certain niggas. I want to see those fights. It's like when we go watch UFC fights or you know what I mean boxing. You want to see this ship. I want to see a nigga fighting

nigga out man. I want to see the ship. So I know that you know that type of ship, you know what I mean? How about being in a freeway, the basic freeway, who never thought about that neither officially that that's that's yeah, you're saying it's like big up to be the he out there right now. You don't say I hook that up. Yeah yeah, but too so you said being's freeway m O P or like what are you crazy? It's a lot of fun, that's a lot of love and ship yo. It just it just

makes the sport more better. Like you know what I mean. I love with kissing them, man, I love it. I love no saying it gave me a battery, gave me a battery, like from that ship looking at that ship. I even told Casted y'all went and like I told both of them, she think, like I go, like three dots, four dots just right after that, like you know what I mean, But it was like they shook the building,

they showing them Joe. Yeah, everybody, it's making that ship more in But it's but like how Race said, it's the list. It's the list because your list, because if your lists, I had this, I spect I was going at the sneaker for his lips because I had then to be start you know what I mean, you know the other ship. Then he got Crimmy. Then he got this one and that when it was like, yo, I know I got records, you know what I mean? But Audi playing with Dad, you know that pieces still like

Cuban Lynx is a motherfucker. So I'm like, what the fund can I do? I'm looking at him that every album ever did? You know what I mean? Real? You know what I mean saying real though, Like though, yeah, but that's the reason why, that's the reason why going a gainst each other, it's probably super harder than working

with each other. Working with each other, right, it's still stopping sick what I'm saying, Like, obviously I've seen you do a show by yourself, ready to do a show by itself, and then I see y'all do shows again, and it's just it's something about you. It's just the same thing when I see Styles, it's the chemistry and Jada. That's exclude she sometimes, but it's just sometimes Styles and Jada just fit like a just fucking glove. And I watched some verses and when they did bad from TV,

I watched she know when to fall back? He know exactly when the fallback, say a couple of Atlas and I'm sinking to my records I'm saying back, and I'm saying back like damn, she knew to fall the fun back and then kissing and went back and ship went back to back when they do it, and I'm like, waiting, superhero ship, this is some real superhero ship. Like yeah, so that's the reason why it's not money though, the money, but Joe, there might have been the realist names I heard,

like come out the bank. So you know, I'm just saying, yeah, you know what I mean. But y'all, y'all to man, you win, yourn is me and pols over nay Man. That's so a little bit. I'll say you come on as a group. We're friends of matter. You can come back to your friends. This nigg let me tell y'all, let me tell drink chance. This ship, this nigger discography is dangerous. Like we said, it all goes back to that list about your wife. You know what I mean.

I thought you, I thought you would see you gotta check coming. I don't know, I really tried to ye, that was a beautiful one then, but I was a beautiful one, good proper. He's on the bigger pastors. So Joe Budden's watch out, smash it must smash him. Always always a member. It's like going to the fights. Man. You want to see a fight, man, like you want to see spicion cross. Are you saying just you just get to the point. What y'are saying is I'll smoke

your o. You can't with you. Let's doing fifteen times, you're doing fifteen times that It's okay, it's been not gonna just play with you. But yeah, actually moving off. So the Arizono Bridge, which you both sold papers on the arrison the bridge just you yeah, probably just me the paper. That's how long I knew Rizard, like because

always we all. I probably might might have been what by like fourteen and some ship we were standing on the Arizonal Bridge, like you know, Nigga's got their bundles and ship and word for like fucking a dollars, some two dollars or some ship. But niggas yeah, like just you know, just trying to have a job and do something. But Nigga's to chase some money back then, you know. So um, you know, like I said with really he made me attracted the risen Jesse because Rizzin had a

big family. You know, I don't have a big family. Like that. You know, I have a smaller family, and you know I always looked at them niggas like brothers, you know, big brothers and ship. Yo. Niggas always had ballets and ship, you know, swave fronts and you know we're going to school together. You know what I mean? Yo, Yo, you went east and ship you know, vice versa week. You know. But um, I've always seen the potential. Potential

was there. But that's why their names are so close to Risdon and Jesse, because the niggas both those blades, they you know, and and eat and they own a little way. But it was it was this other dude that was so special. That was the heart of war. And that's rest in peace, old dirty bastard. That's the heartest I'm getting to that I won't us that's the heart of that. I'm getting to that we're about to get We've got to give these these these ball Okay,

hold on, we're gonna do that. I'm gonna do that before Okay, But I want to get to you, Grease. What's your favorite movie? What was going to your favorite? Oh? Yeah, that was the ship. I didn't know that ship. Oh yeah, of course, you know when we're going there on that lane. I still I would die. I wouldn't said shout out ray rayby watching some different ships raise a different nigg bro's nah, but you know that. You know, my favorite movie of all time is definitely Once upon a Time

in America. You've seen that. You've seen that scene that that ship is like two scar faces right there, you know, I mean Mexican joint, that's yeah, yeah, but that one kind of yeah, that kind of inspired the Purple Tator, that inspired that. That was one of my favorite joints right there. But but what did you like about Greece? It's just, you know, I was a kid watching Greece, like just the whole fun of the way they was acting, you know what I mean, like Happy Days like the

movie and ship you know what I mean. He wasn't watching the Happy Days. Yeah, it was nigg It was the first thing I've seen with a left on and jam. He had a ship cocked up to let's let's be real. He was. That's why I like Greece because it was like the niggas was like a crew kid. Then this ship, this nigga bag you know, turned out though in a good way, so it was like, I don't know, it just was. It was a dope movie. It's a kids movie if y'all want to go there. Ship. I like

The Wizard of Oz Niger which one. Yeah, Stephanie Mills and all that. You've seen that, Diana Ross and yes, I like black You know what was sty Mills in the one with Diana Ross? Nah? Right? Nah? Nah? Diana wasn't she wasn't. It was dying. I think it was Michael and Diana the one and Jones, Ussy Jones, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and um who else? Like that was the Nips Russey? Yeah, yeah, one man. There's a lot of great movies out there. Man, fucking man Cooley hot nigga,

you know me, don't make it? Nah mean different about breaking breaking, breaking, break treats the better word through ship amer American, American blood, blood out actually fire Listen. We don't know if y'all know right, We know you know it your third, your third time on this show. We really appreciate this your first time on the show. But act you to know this that our show and any other category and any other genre of music, there's no such thing as called washed up or being here too long,

it's only in hip hop. So we want to change that trajectory. We want to change that. And we wanted to give people their flowers. So when you hear people saying giving their flowers, we made that up. Now, we made up the statement. We made up making that famous because we wanted to look at the brothers in their faces, tell them how great they y'all, and not be ashamed of that. And we this is what we're doing with y'all, two brothers, We are not ashamed. Y'all two are the

greatest to lyricists by yourself and together. So we wanted to get y'all, get you from us. You know, I'm saying, yeah, your motherfucking flowers opening up to your faces, the flower flowers trying to be a flower, and what the flowers organic food kings we gotta look at from bestball likings. Yeah yeah, at what the flowers? We asked the question, this is candy and sexist feeling flowers. Flowers, flowers they play,

They last about five years. Yeah yeah, So in our eyes, it's like a prop you that we want to sack, thank you, because we don't, you know, let me let me keep with my emotions, like none of the thank y'all for joining us. We want we want year, We want y'all to really know because in all honestly, you know, yeah, my peers, yeah, my brothers, you're my friends. But that

doesn't take it away from your greatness. You understand I'm saying, I didn't do this interview saying that you know goes to my friend and raise my friend and then my brother. So I'm gonna slack in no way shape form a fashion. That's not what I wanna do. I wanna I want to When we started this show, we wanted to say, you know what, our legends deserved this. You know what I'm saying, like a god bless you know the new dudes. But they can go to Anti Martinage, you can go

to you know, the breakfast club or whatever. That's their platform. But where's our platform for after we we bought an ass and we're still looking good. We're still out here shine and we still got the best watches and the best jury on it, and we surpive where the focus to go? We are God blessed that because you know, rock the bells, uh follow suit and then so many other platforms that's following a suit of us. But we're

the original. We what we wanted to do. We wanted to be here and we wanted to you know, give flowers to all yep, salute to prove your brothers. So we got a game that we play. This is where the story goes out after the flowers comes. So we gonna play a game. It's called Quick Time and Sun. No worry about it. We can play the game with y'all. So this is how they play the game. I'm gonna give you a two options, like I'll say watermelon or coconut.

Just say coconut. Just say watermelon, no shot? What if you say no? I like watermelon and coconut, Did me take a shot? What you say? What if you say neither? Neither? So you just pick one? And did we move on that? Ready? All right? Cool? Let's not both questions, right, Just one and the one right we were always sucking out? Don't work? All right? Go on both of y'all this question just a or expected that. Here we go? Um, I go first? Yes,

damn yeah. She let me tell you something. Senius Deck is the best leadoff man I've ever seen them on heard in my life. You know what I mean obamatonically, Trump leaders a hippoper even get yeah, hal philosophies, genius, he's the fucking New York Times. Yeah you really look with swords just like yeah, let me tell you his word play. I always wanted him, and not as to to getting there, you know what I mean? But who are you going with? It's like it's like Deck is

a young jessup number one. Okay, you know Deck is very powerful when he has to be, you know what I mean. He's dangerous on the mic, Jess, he's grandmasters, he's a monster. It's ship that you know, we still haven't heard from him that he come around. And just as the scientist, it's like his word play like who rhymes about animals? Like you don't rhyme about animals? That makes songs and concepts and this and that and then

don't get me one. Ain't taking nothing away from aspect to Deck because like you said, he's a full time shooter. Yeah did he If he got to hit something, he gonna hit it. It's gonna get hit. But it's like whose word play can go deeper? Who got words? I wasn't never really good at words. That's why I'm like Damn mustil have just been in school just paying more fucking attention, you know what I mean? Like it because

it's my vote capitary. Wasn't it like that? And it's been troubled for a lot my motherfucker's you know what I mean? But I would have to probably on this one been Sugg. That's just yeah, you're doing the same thing to see him and Paul kill nigger. So deck is a Paul Kill nigger, but nigga territorial territorial. That is dangerous. Man, y'all go back and listen to some of the ship he did on the first album. It's like we always knew he was strong. He got like

that too once he came home from jail too. It's like it's like that bid did something tune. But you know, yeah, I probably would go with I would probably go with what's her name? Man, you don't fully want to say it. I got your back, I got your back. Let's take a drink for that. This one is a little easier marb deepo m o pa. It's easier for the wolfs drinking what whatchever way you listen to like no, because those are those are just like it's really like it's

your preference. You know, empis fucking this is like stop the ship out. That's sometimes say like streets of streets, the lots of streets is just like yo co buck mong you know what I mean. It's gotta be a good battle boot, you know, yeah exactly. But it's not like you're taking the shot goes in MOKEI in mar b shot. Yeah, I got t take a shot. Shot here. We take a shot with you. We take a shot

with you. A baby shot, yeah, baby shot, baby shots, just walking shot, baby shots as well, because shots to shot don't have the baby shots. This is half time right here, because it's like solo alright, no down. So I was love a little love is love al right home m hm see you're coming up with interesting ship, so you know, make it fun. Man, that's with their brainstorming ship. Really he's trying got big pun or bis markets. Now when you get that from rest in piece the books,

your preference, it doesn't matter. I always gonna go first, right, I don't know why. I'm sorry, you got sorry. I mean, I'm sorry, right, I'm sorry. I'm coming for you doing that, damn you know what I mean? I might I might got taken another shots. But you know what, Pam was crazy lyrical ship like road ship like you just roll roll Rode. Favorite ship was Italy No damn. But you

know what, I'm eighties. I'm eighties dude two at the same time, so it's like big bids like getting my soul too with you, like like like like you got I got more moments, you know what I mean, because that's when you're squaring all that was ringing off and you know what I mean, like you know all that. Yeah, it just just when you was out there hustling, it was like when you heard doom doom doom, Doom, Doom doom, doom doo doom doo doom. He's it's like it was moments.

It was more, it was moments. It was moments. It was moments. So who are you going for? Coming home? Listen? I love how the game. I gotta go bis okay, I love pun. I love just moments though, it was like growing up, like they're like you more men the vapors because you know what I mean, I know people still have the vapis like exactly Pump Daddy or Shug Shug s Puff. You know why because when we hit that Social Awards that that year. I ain't like that

ship should pulled off. Ya was at the Social Awards when he said, yes, wrote black down like two niggas. You know what. I've never had anybody that was actually there. Yeah yeah, but he was this. This is in the scene.

He was a wardship. Oh damn. I'm so sorry. It's called quick times, but we need to hit it stark, Okay, what I was in jail, yeahs because regardless of what you know, when you RELs came and I said that skit on there in all this other ship like that, that kind of was still in the A and ship, you know what I mean. You said, y'all a bad boy the same level. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you say that a little out of I'm gonna be a bad boy.

I'm a bad boy right there, Like I'm uh. At that time, I was waiting forward to get set it because you set it off, like yo, funk that you know me, because you're in New York now right doing that ship, you know what I mean? Like yo? And then you know they did what they did and nothing jumped off. But I was there with that ship like that, like you know what I mean, like fucking yo. I mean, we was in the building, had everybody came black down

just because you know what I'm saying. But respectfully, sho this new y'all. He didn't hate this a particular part of me. Yeah, but at that see him different. Like I'm just thinking to my heart, it's like, Yo, nigga, you were here, nigga, you know what I mean. And that's how I was like, you know what I mean, But I get it. He this, you know what I mean. But then after they Snoop came down and kicked the

buildings down and ship you know what I mean. But math is on that same hour, right, so you know, but yeah, which is that? Just because that's it? That's it was all. Remember I did L A L A. So that's it was all bugged out to me. You did it after before but the buildings Yeah, no, the song came out he did we did L A L A immediately they dropped New York, New York. We never so they kicked the buildings down first, then they keep the building. But the song, the song your wasn't necessarily

this wasn't just lyric It was video. The biggie said, these dudes are shooting video and what was it? No, it was willias Burg. It was in Brooklyn where they got shot at. It spread up, excuse me, spread Hook, So this is gonna happen. So the boys from bread Hook let it up. That's when the video turned into a bad video. That's when we turned our video to

a bad video. But we just responded. So it was a little differul But I was a day at that sort of wards I've never were and it's not the same social wards where our casts just want to say South has something to say that that's a different one, a different it is. It was oh man, that's the story goes five five. Everybody felt some kind of way. Yeah, we smoke, were smoking weed in there, like in the in the in the ceremony joined they's just over there

blowing in the corner. Security. It's not security, Yeah, everybody's security. Everybody's the old security. It's not that, y'all. There's no one whoop na. But we was in the building, dough Oka. That ship was kind of bugged out. That that day

was kind of blugged out. Okay, moving on nineties Verse two thousand, Hip Hop m nineties and the reason why I'm saying that is because it was a lot more creativity going on, you know what I mean, meaning like, you know, you had niggas talking tough and slick and all that, but everybody had hit records. You know, everybody had hit records. Like we could swing it, we could spin the bottle. Everybody was really raining at a certain time.

But you know, two thousand hip hop, you know, it became more mainstream faster than what we did because we were still covering a lot of ground just being created. First. We wanted to be creative. Niggas believed in the albums, Like Yo, we wasn't trying to get over with one joint. We wasn't trying to come to the show lives singing,

you know what I mean. It was like it was a certain gladiated school that was, like he said earlier, Yo, certain niggas that inspire you, like when we're saying listen to you know, Nori and the Reunion and the Wall Report, and it's like, Yo, nigga's run back home and start digging in their own pens. So that's to me, I don't see that that wasn't really the chemistry in two thousand and more like the like they shood, but didn't get a lot of them, wasn't You're born when he

was out right, So you can't can't. You can't take nothing away from them, But you can still have your own opinion about it, even because you say that I'm looking at the tunnel. We need a tunnel, baby doing anything like yo now, you know, I mean, it is what it is now, But it was just a certain aura back then, like certain ura, like you know what I mean, So you know, just nowadays it's cool. Don't get me wrong. I'm not just the younger cats because

that's another generation, right, there's generation. Nothing will never stay the same. So this is what we're dealing in right now. You gotta learn how to be amongst them now. At the same time, still be yourself, like you know what, So you know that's why you dropped jewels on him and work with these cats and do what he's doing. But but as far as for me feeling, I was feeling like however, he was saying like yo, dots is going yo ship. Nor we just dropped nines and dropped

me and that ship. You know what I mean? I see you always you always got those dudes that look for those you know what I mean, those trail Blazers. You know, it's like how we love the Knicks forever. You know, we're doing good this year. We're doing good

this year. It can't stop so far. You know, it's not every time I say we're doing good this part in fact, um Snoop or Buster and what whatever category you wanted to be bust machine, they both machine, but Snooper's like, yo, what do you mean, starpower whatever whatever. There's nobody beating bust and perform. I don't. That's why I agree with you. Motherfucker's scared to go against bus even the right now. Like I tell you, I see, I don't know who could go with the bus. Maybe

you miss Elliott meeting, you know what I mean? I said, Wow, I knew somebody, but y'all was like, niggas was like, I don't know. I said a little Wayne said, Little Wayne is my Nigga's a clever fox. You know what I'm saying, Oh you be records. I'm saying just going out Just al right, I got you hits, Just stay creativeness. They they creative ship. I never put L two oh l la. You know I would have put I would have put can arrests against Buster. No, I would have

put arrest against l L. Yeah, that can arresting. L L did that and let King and figure it out. Kane Rock Kim was the battle everyone wanted to see, even though we set on spencing. It was great battle. And Kim is the ward of the words. Smooth dudes.

I agree with you. I think Caro said, and yeah, but let's stick this stopid Snoop and and and and and my god, I'm you know what I mean, Like I said, ain't nobody messing with And I think Snoop even know that when it comes to like as far as performing, you know what I mean, and ship like that, but star power. Snoop got star power. You know what? Nobody more favorite that Snoop. Yeah. Snoop is like one of the most biggest fucking bus. Corona commercial, Corona commercials

and all this other ship Snoop did he said, Corona convercial. Yeah, he got the busts that thin coronavirus. He had a commercial ed the Corona for the help. He went to him, right to Na. So you know, I don't know that's why it's paints man. And if I got to you don't know. That's the shot. Shot. And if you don't know, you think you shot to no problems? Yeah, yeah, no problem, no problem. Shot. Okay, you had to take a shot, right, but that's hold was strible. But why you don't gotta

take the shot? No, because because it's you I've seen. I think he does made that up. I was talking around Stolottle, my brother st Little Stottle, selling don't soon, man, eybody gotta take the shot. Yeah you yeah, look at you Latifa or Light and I love them both. Light at the four you take your baby shot. Go damn, man, that's the baby shot. Goes good. That's a hard one. Yeah, your teeth for our teeth. It was a voice mag like when I think a lot of teeth. That was

in my mind right there. Just you know, you know, Light was hard as a rocking Now. I was locked up. I think I sixteen. I heard when I first heard of a cram to understand you that was the ship. Yeah, you know, he placed impiable of oar where I first saw the niggain he tried to play, y'all. That was that. I meant my scene in the rooftop back in the days.

This was the Cookine and Polo Google stays though. You know, like we said, we used to stoop it up there to um up the hall of a Huntred fifty used to be the school for the rocks, right yeah, right there, the rucker we was in, the rucker before the Rutger was the rucker we was up in the each is just cooling out up there, just getting high before we

gonna win the route, you know what I'm saying. And we used to be up there nigga's be getting right and then walk across the street right in the roof top. But now I remember the first time I've seen um mc light doing ship. She had of a law suit on chain on. Her voice was ill, yeah, but I'm I'm gonna go with light light. But the queen is the queen though two, so I don't know what the funk. Matter of fact, I got, I got a lot up. I gotta press that button back with that. But I'm

looking at both of them. Is love cheeking love? Um, I might got I might gotta agree with Ray with this with the light. Yeah, I gotta rock ya gotta get a rough neck, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, rough neck. And and and cram to understanding. You can't cram the understand you Yeah, self destruction and all this ship right all right on? Yeah getting good? Okay, excuse me DMX or Tupac he said, then Max a Tupac, But come on, like what else like like like like

like and what like who whatever? You want to be in your mind because Tupac, you know, he was like he was like he was sitting here on something. The vote for scenting will get me wrong because because X almost had me prime one day, you know what I mean, but always had me from yeah like that, you know what I mean. But his records when they ring off in the club, it was bigger. I never got to see pot perform, ok. But Pop was like I gotta see experform because he me not I got Sepopo. I

never met never met Pop. Yeah, I met him one time at the source of Wars. We're walking. He's walking past the same source of ward. No no no, no, no no, because they had a cage up there on some free pop shot. Yeah number But now I walked by a pop not at that, not not the short was we're talking about, because remember when they was upstre performing,

there was a cage up there. Yeah, I wasn't even Yeah, yeah I met the n Yeah you probably met him, but you got another another, another, another event, probably because ninety five wasn't the first one, right right, Nah, I think ninety four was the first one. We finally met him in there. But yeah, we just met on the walk bottle. You know, I'm gonna drink to that. We met on the ward by Yo, we suping up one boom. That's it. Yeah, that was it though. We're just moving

in all respect. So who are you gonna do next? No as a hole? No, no, no, So when did you pick? Yeah? Whatever, that's no to that. Okay, take a baby shot. You gotta go crazy. Hey, I got to gird you. Take a baby shot. You ain't wet, have to go crazy. I think you know what? Could I take a ship of this one? Cool salute cheers, solo soloect hold on moving up, motherfuck this this should be easy. Evil missy miss And that's no disrespect. You

know that. I'm just looking at everyone knows that catalog, catalog, that ship, just like that. I love missy missy though. Okay, yeah we're funny. This this is for you, Ghost, Marvin Gay or Stevie wonder. Oh, I'm sorry, were trying to get you to drink. In case you don't know, I'm figured you about it. I'm gonna took it out. I'm gonna have to go, Steven Stevie, you know Stevie Stevie Catalogs. It's crazy, right, it's crazy. But Marvin is that naked over But yeah, it's like I can't but but I'm

I'm gonna have to go. I'm gonna have to go. Steven. He minds is just pulling me a shot. We all drinking. It got you gotta you gotta hit it because yeah, but I feel I hold one. Do it quick time up Stevie and Steve. I'm wanna show you exactly where we ship after Stephen all that ship. Can you get out of that chair, this little side of the slide alright, already hold on, hold up, so now that we're going to executive talk Steve Rifkin and Russell Simmons, you know what,

two good brothers and two good brothers. You know, I don't know if I Steve put a song and ship you know what I mean. You don't want to make it seem like it's just like that, but you know what we got history. I gotta take a ship to that or something, you know what I mean. Because Russell was sucking death jam you know what I mean, Emmon Reuben, So yeah, I was there, you know. Yeah, see so so we're taking a shot. I don't know. I was like, you know what I mean? But you know what, I

know what I know. I know, Ricky, I learned from Stephen from Russell Russell like they like the golf offers and Steven absolutely, yeah, of course, I mean, Russell is the Bluepriner Exactly. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go for Russell's only because they've seen something that created a movement in hip hop. They was the pioneers of that. They bridge that, you know, and Russell he had a lot to do with believing in it on top of knowing his brother. You know what I'm saying, this baby brother

get busy. You know what I'm saying, is his brother get busy. Yeah, you know, so they hold vision back then was so ill that it that I don't even think they knew that they was gonna create a job where that was gonna be the way it is today. Because we're talking forty years ago, thirty years we talk about to us. So I'm going for Russell because of the legacy that they created for us. Okay it was manic are ready to die no matter that fact. No,

you aren't gonna say that relations because I'm coming back. Okay, we come back to me. Yet, I'm gonna go with all mannic I like major or independent yea, m h nowadays, whatever you want mm hmm independent, independent. What's up right? These majors robbing the ship out you to keep your fucking masters. They're doing all this other suckers ship, you know what I mean. Now, maybe if you maybe if you had a he was on the major and they rock with you, like one year just to get your

name up. It didn't go indie, you know what I mean. That's kind of even. Maybe two years, you know what I mean, get you too, just too two albums and you go to the major to take advantage of that ship and your favorite. Why would you want to do that? I'm saying, the deals in your favorite or that boy. If you're already good, right, right, right, if you go then to get what you think right? You know, Andy is always good, but Major is just a lesson, you know,

It's a lesson. It's a lesson that comes out of that. It raises you to be intelligent and gives you a blueprint on how to learn about business. So I probably to probably sacrifice that way just to learn a little bit more, you know. But independent is my ship. So at the end of the damn a drink on that one, I don't mind taking a drinks that. I don't expect that now you ain't gonna okay, you ain't gonna because the first except drinking. Yeah, oh yeah, no no, because

I'll let you get away with the two. Okay, our Green or Teddy pennograph slaps Green and tandyman the broken Heart. You know what, I'm gonna go Teddy. I'm gonna go Teddy based off the catalog and based on come in woman, that tax that nigga, That nigga is scared to ship out? You be you, Nika said, turned off the lights man, Oh ship scared to burn off? Like that said, Oh I'm gonna go my mama, you said, henna exist all right, this one. I don't know where you're gonna go with

this one. The box or video music box, d box, video box video or video that was easy rock mana Rolex. Yes, that's that was that was playing on TV out of out of New York. You ain't order the box was actually the box V. No that's what I'm saying. It was New York. No, no, no, that's what we're saying.

You order your own video on the box. Na. I never said what you have that w HT and some box playing like like videos and no. Ship was an order of that ship and the labels were dumb mad money to Yeah you're going with Ralph okay, yeah, okay, all right, Biggie a big out either one of you big okay, yeah, big Scarface, ice Cube Scarface. Who see

he's a great contentment man. This Yeah, that's the type ship you're about drinking all right now, Now do a baby shot, do a baby shot and season yeah, hold on, let me come on, come on, come on, give me a season of that type of ship. You know. Man, that's a good one. That's a good one. Yeah, come on, I'm minded to take a shot. Look, it's a good one right here. We heard here exactly producing your supreme clientele too. Kanye Off a real for real talking about

the speech. I mean kind I'll eating some something like yo, who got the bigger name or just beats like you listen you to Iron Man, whatever the funk you want to take, We're gonna go. I'm sticking though, But you know what, I might because he did biscuits for me too, Mike, I might gotta lean tru. I might lean true Okay, but it might be a fifty forty nine split or something like that. You know what I mean? Nine? You know what I mean? That's fair? Yeah, okay.

The Killer tape or hard boil mh, but too much hard boiler was that was the same killer was, but he was American. I say, oh boy, you right yeah, Mamber, that ship the Killer was the ship. I'm going to killer Killer Killer is stupid Killer? All right, Miami or a t L right now you and Miami and Miami and eat a little respectum Miami. Okay, all right, now here's here's where we go. Like what is this mouth? Movie? You said? Riso made y'all watch the movies. He didn't believe, make it make it felt like it was a part of like the book. He just no, no, no, no, it was boot but he was he made no, he

ain't forced because it was around. It was like it was like anyway, that's the spot and all you just you don't see you see it's like you know what he wanted to comfort flu even the game or flick, you know what I mean. Around, And that's what it was. Yes, make it beat Yeah, nah, but five Denly Villains was crazy. Let me ask you a question. Okay, hold on, Bob, not finished your do you ask me already? Alright? The mac of super Fly I'm going to map wait for

super Fly was ill too. Ain't that super Fly? When the he had to fishing? Fishing and ship? Oh no, that's called want you probably joke. That's a comedy movie. Again. I'm gonna get you. Yeah, I'm gonna get you something. Break breakup alright, alright, because we're almost done this this this is it, This is it. This is it. Loyalty or respect that is there is the correct understand. I don't know why you say that, sitting back and saying you like you can't really have one without the other.

So yeah, so that yeah, that's he is respect, babe. I've been trying to say that too. Respect comes with loyal as well. They both come together. It's not one without you. Like the first guest, everyone may be sitting there in comfer place and they give us a great as great, we love it. But honestly, yeah, now you're right to go together like it's it's it's it's I'm sorry because what you want to say, I want respect

over loyal to. Right, so you don't want your men and your woman to be loyal So so you want reserver's roommates. Yeah, you guys say you're saying it like that now because it't like that he was up to the c roommate said like's coming to then It's like I don't even looked at it like that. I just trust the man. Sick mates. Yeah, you stew it right. Well, I'll tell you my research. I really did my p S three company. I definitely didn't do as company at all.

But alright, cool a right, cool, moving on. I felt like you answered that, okay, all right, that's not quick time. No no, no, this we we we're done with a quick time of slime A right, his his hiss. One of the questions, all right, yeah, this is this is this is one of this is one of my questions protection that I don't remember what part of the jail I'll wasa what year did this come out? Hast? What is the name? Three three h h I'm in jail. I feel like we got twelve niggas from Queens nine

eight hundred thousand from Brooklyn. H tech, your neck comes out forty eight hundred niggas is from shot overnights overnight. These dudes claiming they're outside there in the yard. They're showing their phrases niggas like, who is this nigga? I think? Stand now, where was this nigga I had yesterday? Niggas is outside? I'm talking about standing down on Muster. In

that time, the protection net came out. You can ask any nig that was in the jail system at that time, any nick started down, I was put in the world m That record changed the trajectory of hip hop, but it had to change the trajectory stating like I'm outside looking at I don't know you yet. I don't know you yet. I'm a fan of y'all niggas, but I'm sitting back and I've never seen quite this happened. I've never seen people not go from not even talking about

the town to the next day. So being so proud of the time because they had people to identify with them, did y'all know y'all was yeah? Because because you know why, because it's like it's a lot of dangerous sniggers from Staton Noling, right because stat Nlan was a place where everybody felt like it's a lot going on out there in a great way, but you had a lot of dangerous niggers that lived in the communities that was getting busy.

So when they went to jail, it's like niggas knew who they was based off the fact that when they've seen the nigger that they felt was from where they from. It's like, yo, we gotta stand up and now to know that yow out of two of those niggas, one of those nigga one out of two been in those live towns, and stat Nolan, one out of two, they're gonna show you exactly where it's at because it's probably gonna be maybe three places that's and stat now and

you're gonna be like, yo, I know somebody. But the bottom line is when we came through, it was like seeing the rise of the rise of what you want to call the rise of the machines, Like y'all, it was it was time, like I said, stop now. And always felt like y'all like like like the five bros Are trying to front on us, like we won't kill you, like we're gonna get you, you know what I'm saying,

Like brothers they't recognize our slang. None of that ship that's all now and ship so like all that ship wait, you know what the difference. You know we came with like the rods and cloths. You know it's all right there. You came with the rod Yeah, eagle's all that ship were dipping them to be like what's the guy the blonde guy, um from the mafia? Um you can't vine the champion? Yeah, man, the one of that insane guy

was a vision. That was a vision, like I told you the brothers up where he was that was doing it, big Julie on. Like birds don't change hanging down and they dig the low feeling. I sweats with feeling like doing it, you know what I mean. And I always see myself like that with a robe on and the birds on my arms, and like, yo, who get the truck is? You know what I mean? And and and

and that's where they came from. But it don't stemmed up from where he was when he had this ship like that, you know yo stating then and like you said, like Yo, Nikkas was in Brooklyn house doing it, you know what I mean? You know myself and like that whatever, But like you said, when we said what we said, Now you hear who the blue Like no, I lived that, Come on man standing now And when that ship came out, but um, it's a lot of angels. Yeah, and it

was shot. That was it was saying, state knowledge and took your net came out. They made it because it was that final get only for your barrow. So he was laughing, but it was last, should be what first, right then. But it's like for us, we wasn't even worried about the papers, worried about the reputation, you know, the representation, like y'all gonna get it one way or another because you know, we've been in spots and it's like, yo,

you keep having it's Brooklyn Bronze queens. Yeah, we ran with the niggas that was mad about that, Like, yo, let's go stick to the the DJ let's go different, you know what I mean. Yo, we could just dig them just you know, surround him in a in a clever way and just you know, yeah, it mad. You just got sucked up. Seriously, you just got sucked up the tunnel girl, Rob we're taking anybody coating the tongue, like don't put your coat in the fucking back over there.

It's gone. You know what I mean, you ain't leaving out with it. Uh. That's why I stopped going to clubs after a while, because they wasn't let me in. You know what I mean. I'm out. I'm outside with a blind of people and ship them over there. Like yo, so listening to you know what I mean, could talk to you, talk to him, yo, he come out there. Yo, he's over there. He's ripping his shape. He don't like when he was. I don't even know if you were

working the tunnel, but he was working. Yeah, Yo, listen. It was dangerous in the tone. The tone was like right, yo, you know what I mean. So that's why I said before you said nineties, it was different, you know what I mean. A couple of my niggas chopped some of them niggas in there. Oh yeah, definitely the tunnel. Yeah, the bounces up. You know, it was like you write a passage, like if you made it to the tunnel, you got through, and he rocked the show, you rock anywhere.

I went to tunnel one time. I'm sorry. I don't want to make it about me. It's all about y'all, but I had to suspend the car joint song. So I walked in the bathroom and see unit sex bathroom. I don't know why they felt like they just fly, but it's actually a bit right here, squatting them ping door open. I'm sitting there at the car. I see, I see. I don't know. I feel like these niggas from Brooklyn. I'm sorry for them, just just being like

su presidente because I'm just feeling these things. I'm like all these things. Think I'm myself like cool, I got the y'aller right there, but I got to suspenders. One. I can't take a piss without going like slip go like this. The niggas is looking at me. I'm looking at them like, yeah, I have a thing on me. So I go like this to go to my suspenders. About two ways just dropped right in the joint as I'm pissing on because I can't stop my bis so I'm beeting already. Two way just look at me, just

laugh at me, like and it just broke out. Never see these things again. I hate these things. I'm gonna kill them back. But that's that's how crazy. The tunnel was, like, like you go to the bathroom by yourself. That ship is reard like you gotta tell you tell the homies, you'll stay right there. And it could be four pitches in there, but the four chicks in theres telling you telling the homies like a good yall he got. Yeah, Yeah, she was crazy, she was. I see, I see bigger.

It seems to see leave seas leave. Yeah. Look I've seen bigger than one night. We see east and I brought the big L A l A. I wish she's was here at the coast on this story, but obviously we know season. I wouldn't be saying. And I gave big l A l A before it came out of this, before it came it was for stretch off Strong bad Boy, remember bad Boy, Let's do a mixtapes with different DJs. What gave it just before the video came out. This,

this is before anything. We literally recorded recorded it Thursday night, all Thursday night. And I've seen big Friday night when I see them the tunnel and I said, your hicko l an, we're coming back and these dudes big hand me back in the CD. I said, Nope, we ain't got this, these dudes we we I ain't do what they accused me of the time I was too young and comprehending, right, something like biggest Big, Ain't that dude? Bro?

Like big, ain't that guy? Man? Like? As I got old, I was like, damn, this nig was wise it and all of us right. But then I was like, and then what your wife? And it's like, wait a minute, they ain't take my ship. But what I didn't realize as I got old, Like I said, what's big was really kind of innocent of everything. They kind of addressed it, so he didn't want to address them. So I say that to say, it's a very famous kit ghost. M hm, I don't want no nigga sounded and like me, no,

none of that ship. It's in the past. History is history. We can't change history. So we can't change history. We can't change it. We can change the future. We can make the future shake, but the history is history. I just like how you educated? You know, it's just like you know, it's like he's like, I don't even know anybody like he's when he's like, how would coach sound?

But Queen's version? But this is it's real skip. When this skip comes on, we all kind of getfused because in all minds who is at the top of it told him Paul, Yeah, there's nothing that who could be mad at? There's nothing now? And then we here ghosts say, I think it's been nah ship, I don't want Niga sound like meal no album, and everyone relates this skin

to the bad boy. Ever, what was going through your mind and how did how did you how did you come up with this or or did you actually really feel that's what happened because Nabs didn't have a child on this cup and Big got a child, right, I mean, first of all, I love it, you know what I mean? And I wish like before they did what they did to him, Me and ray Kat was up in the club there was the Key Club or something like that, remember, Yeah, and we funked around, I shook his hand, met him

and all that said. Because I was like I was done with all that that. Yeah, I wanted to get in and just make pieces like yo, come on, yo, you know what y' listen, let's get in the booth. Let's let's go do something, you know what I mean. So we see him, we give him dad and everything, whatever the case may be. And and that was it, and I wound up by here that day. They murdered him probably the next the next day, and nobody knew

that neither nobody knew that story. Yeah, yeah, that y'all actually met up and seen on the first first time we've seen Big the night before you got ever spoke about. I shook his hand and a New York I never never shop. I've never got a chance to ship. I mean we've been on planes together and and you know, at that time it was like, you know, damn like nothing being said because of my mouth on what the funk I said, smashed both in first classes, y'all in

the first class. But I didn't really each other. Now back then it wasn't It was just the whole funk wherever you like fruit type of ship. Yeah, like that, everybody was was on plane, on every fucking body. I guess you might be coming from Jack the rapping on the rapping role on the plane. I said, Jack the rapping,

that's better Google. So it was like we never really said nothing and ship like that, and you know, we could we could be the last two brothers out there, meet him and his man and me and moment and it's like we went for all cars to come in it's nothing to me and said but that night that night when when um, when we met him and ship, like you know that the mother came in there she could saying race you. The said cats in his head.

It on my mind. But even before I seen him, I wanted to like talk to him to squash that ship. But as you know, we're doing that ship. He bounced, broke out. Whatever the case maybe he said, but he said with us like that was it. It was no conversation and like it was something never was it? Like then I hear about that, But I'm trying to say, is that, yo, that's ship. That's I was fucked up out.

That ship hurt me like I love pop too, but big ship it just hit home more for some reason, like it hit home and ship and um and know all that ship like that. I never got a chance to tell him, like, yo, listen another Paul the self. You know what I mean. I'm out there, you know whatever, because at that time when I didn't let ship five s like yo, who wanted but let me you're just doing I'm doing super ship. Let me let me tap into the year old goes, which not who who you

are now? But what made you say that because back then, you know, you know what was crazy? It's my favorite rappers. Granddaddy at you, right, that's like really my favorite top rapper. But but if you listen to my style, you can't see Granddaddy at you and me at all right. It's and it's not because I don't respect granddaddy of you. It's because I don't respect granddad. In our error, it was meant to be the exact opposite. I'm gonna just do me. I love you and I love your style.

I love what you do, but I'm not the number two to you. What? What what made you feel like that? Alright? Cool? NASA album was was a hit? He had a kid on it. Did do you feel like Big was doing that deliberately putting putting a child on his album? Because what made you what? It's fired that skit because how I'm looking at it through a twenty five year old mind that don't give a funk about whoever, you know what I mean. While we was doing the skin, It's

just it just it just came that way. It just came. It wasn't playing the natural competition. Yeah, because I'm like I'm like, first of like like we don't really like fighting off nobody's ship and it's not in the third or whatever the case. Maybe it just changed and you did say, how do they seven? They had came out before y'all bad boy So that that was report I

was on. Yeah, was it? I blame it? Now? That's that was the nineties seven when they when they when they when Bad Boys ship was like that because that's science science just skipping out on the right corn album. That's ninety five, you know what I mean? So so so, but being twenty we was wound twenty five, so from stating down like everybody, Yeah, it's like, yo, you have I just had to tell me like like yo, like I'm hearing you out this, you know, because he was

moving bricks only I heard you. You gotta chill, you know, mixed park with beef, you know what I mean. I remember that, Like Yo, I had to leave. I had to leave that ship alone because you could have went left anytime, locked up or got killed. So I made the assistem to lead that ship and just stick with

rap music, you know what I mean? But we were twenty five, yo, and right now, if I had the chance to tell I'll be like you're big your listen, bro, I'm sorry, be hard and me like you know what I mean, Like i't mean that ship like that or whatever, but whatever, I was thinking that it was street ship. It was three ship and and I know, and it was so fucked up, That's what I'm trying to tell you. Because he did the song with Metha and I'm like the funk like you know for him, Like we're still

on the street. You don't mean doing ship playing with ship Nigga is still getting dusted over. Yeah, it's like we're outside, you know what I mean. So yeah, but me, I was looking at it like when you said it, it was more like we had a relationship with queens niggas, you know what I'm saying. Like me and nos we go back a while ago, and you know, I brought him to statn Island, had him up in the Chinese restaurants, you know what I mean. He loved us, We loved him,

you know what I mean. I remember at the time we was in l A when niggas acting like they want the front on Nis and we came in like super arrows and what you mean this is this is this is what it was just you know, this is the young young, the young nineties. Yeah yeah, and then what's happening. But you know it's just it's just that they was, they was being tough on him. You know what the crowd of the audience, Yeah, the crowd, and we just you know, you know, that's our little brother,

you know what I'm saying, not calling him. Yeah yeah, I remember that Clear's day, you know, but at that time, it's like we love we love nas since since um this sense something he had to fucking tape, right, yeah, yeah, he had like six songs before a matter given came out. I don't know how these two French chicks got it, you know what I mean? He said, friends came French friends, some French girls. You know, we have to get to say you know what I mean. But he was a genius.

He was taking who was saying everything. But you know how hell that is to know that the way we respected this nigga gun and know that today he would be the nigga to everybody respect we was the niggas that so so that's to what I was saying, This is yeah, this is how I'm yeah, this is this is yeah, this is you saw But but like he said, we had a moment where we heard more joints from him and it was like, yo, like six is a little you know. I remember hearing one Love and was like, wow, yo,

we spanked that letter. That's a letter from a nigga from Queens, you know what I mean. Then he started three years he started out. Yeah, it was like yo, it was like it was like I was like, it was the love form that we had and then when we met each other was genuine and we seem the same in each other, and you know, yo, we would

we would have jumped out the window for him. So I think that around that time when Big came with the album, it's like it just snapped back in our minds, like, Yo, my nigga did that, you know what I'm saying, Like honestly, So really it was like we was just rooting for our nigga. You know, we're rooting for him. You did something different, you know what I mean? You didn't. You didn't he did that. So it just was a moment.

And I remember, I remember when you said it because like you said, it wasn't pre meditated, It wasn't pret medicate. It was just you know, he was in there kittting it up. Like but when he said it was like everybody nobody said chill gools, because that's that's the funk up thing, because nobody said, no, that ain't going on. But we knew that we were still connected with the niggas he was connected saying, you wish somebody was there,

say somebody somebody still the set. I don't, yeah, like yo, I don't know that that was what I wanted the money had done it because he may be putting with us. Maybe you're right, I'm listening to hip. I mean happened, you know what I'm saying. He's saying that if they wish that somebody was there to persuade them not to talk, not to say that, you know, because I'm listen to me, I'm asking what do you listen though? You know what

he said was facts. But like I said, at the end of the day, are we trying to charge it niggers that were because at the end of the day, I didn't, you know, I didn't get a chance to look at it, like yolet nick a funk with you, you know what I mean? Or what exactly? You know what I mean? It's almost like but it's trouble again. It's facts store, but they come out with the projects behind this ship the same way how you did it. And at that time and when hip hop was so

real to us, it was it was a protection. But it was like, yo, you know what, Yeah, that's how we took it. But he could have been like, yo, you know what I've been at that something. Yeah, well I respect nas like that s to like, you know, he might look he might love NA sick, you know what I mean, and did that, but we don't exactly but we don't know, you know what I mean. But I'm just going on for the fucking like, Yo, I'm outside moving brakes. We're doing this and we'll give a

fucking one in the moment, in the moment. And it was ninety five one of the best years of my life with this thing, you know what I mean. And I got my you know what I mean. My brothers are sitting around it was like who you know what I mean? So you was going to talk your ship, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's this way, yeah, yeah, talking about it. It's like yall coments the way it fucked me up when they did that because we were still outside we were still out there and just lost it. Listen,

we just scoled. I didn't know I touched it washed that night, and it was seeing the nigga. It's like seeing the nigga that you know that you had something where and you're like, y'all, no, I really fucked up. Let me go be the man. And that's how we're walking over to That's how I like, yo, you know what I mean. He looked at us. He looked at us like, nigga, I have a drink, nigga. Man like he was like, yeah, that's that's what. At the end

of the day, fucked it all. What funked it all the way up because it was like we knew he loved us, he loved our nigga. Matt math never knew. That wasn't even gus skin. He was like in his feelings, like yeah, because y'are on the board album. No, not even that's my nigga though. That's expanse of the family everybody. The old thing going on. If you don't introduce Normy to somebody, I don't necessarily mean nor we gonna respect that. If you don't introduce him, that's how I look at it.

It's like Yo, if I don't introduce you to a nigga, don't mean nothing. So for us, it meth never introduced us. Too big for us to even be like, Yo, what up? I never met that. I never met big. I never met him to never matter, like never matter. I'm like like yo whatever you never never like yo? What's up? Yo? Yo? Yo? We never did that did so it was more easier for us to talk in them because we didn't have no common cause with him. It's like when me and

goes board nas around, you know what I mean. It took other niggas a minute that really respect no, but that ain't that ain't mean ain't respect his gun. It was just that si men, you know what I mean? Everything you know when I bought up on a round, you know what I mean. He was the first person to post of yo. I've seen it in him like but you know what we're saying is like, y'all, I think the love was just so strong for naas that

it just hit him. It just hit him at that moment and it was like, damn, do you take it off? You know what I mean? He could have easily say, Yo, don't no, I don't go there boom, But it made sense because that was, like he said, we was in our run twives and he was saying, what the fun we want to say? Way to say? You know what I mean? It was Big ever responded to interviews the ship names the seven and ship I don't I don't move, not musically though Big wasn't musically saying nothing, but you

could tell it was bad in him a little. You know, it was bothering him to a degree. You know. Um, I remember one time songs like you know what I mean, salute and I'm moving it feeling like a day you know what I mean. The act is like it's sinking in like yo, like damn, Like what the funk? To go my mouth again? You know what I mean? Like the hot Nanny seven ship. There go my fucking mouth again. I killed us for ten years, you know what I mean? But like you said, it is what it is now

and we're here. Like I said, I want to his death hurt me more than pox, like I felt it because I felt like Nigga took something devils from home and I'm moving on the coast of the same ship and we didn't leave. I see Nika skate the funk out on planes getting the photo. You sit out here, you know what I mean, Like nigga, what we are like? You know what I mean? Just get I finishing my work, finishing them the sec A cit who ten City. You finished that ship out there. We did the whole ship

out there. So it's like, yeah, so let let me ask you because it's always been Math was the guy who did a record wait big right then, at the moment where Pocket is dissing the whole East Coast, there's a record that comes out with Math, Dog Pound red Man and Pope. Okay, m h no, Reggy Chalk Mountain. I've heard method Man explained this, but I would like to head from y'all. I heard that you never heard this.

You know, I heard of it, but I never really I might have heard the song like once or twice, because this is smack Dad in the middle East Coast, West Coast Beef and I think Pop did it on purpose. And those records are probably old records. Actually I heard the records just for duck Down. I actually heard the records that met and Brad actually give me just don't do it. But the thing is, we don't have Twitter back then. We don't have anything. We don't have confirmed.

We can't deny this again. Was there any like you bugging you know what it was that It's like we always felt new triling situations because to me, it wasn't really like no East and West Coast beef. It was just a facade of that, you know what I mean. Certain niggas wasn't just pressing niggas like that. You know, we know what it is to get pressed, you know what I mean, because we you know what I mean, we pressed niggers too, So it never was that way that we really felt like it was really that what

it is. You know, we just walking through whatever. Niggas paying homage on both sides. It's like you might know crips and bloods and it might be like y'all were both. So I saw we was taking whatever is going on. We just knew that it was an altercation on both sides, you know what I mean. When Pop, when Pop passed away, you know we felt it too. We felt it, you know what I mean. He was a stand up nigga. He was outspoken, you know what I'm saying, and um, you know, we lost, so we lost a warrior. He

was a warrior. So you know, like Go said, it's like yo, back then, it was a different time, man, you know what I mean. And a lot of times it's like you may meet you may meet a nigga and be like, I love a nigga, but his niggas might not love you. And and now you're in a situation with him and his niggas because his niggas is convincing him to go this way or go the way

they're going, you know what I mean. Or at the end of the day, it's like, yo, man, them niggas was real niggas, man, like they really paid you know, everybody chalked about it to this day, Like yo, who's in a big opock? It's like pop was more revolutionary pop, you know what I'm saying. Big is more you know what I mean. He's just when you see Big, you see New York City like bright lights boom new York. But is it bad that when I see Pok I

see New York City too? Sometimes? I mean, I know, if you ever see his record, ain't nothing about the like the old school, nah, because somebody cause somebody pull this record up because look, just for a second, please, who got the playlist. Who's on the playlist. I just want you to hear this record because I'm outside walking one day, so I'm listening to this record. It goes, ain't that like the old school? And this is pop describing all New York City ship. Then the very next record,

you know what comes on California. No, that's not it, right, yeah, another but the old school? Yeah? Please you're Tupac. Please just not someone just take it to the to the verses. I just wanna ready to hear this ship. I want you to hear you're a real New York City officially not on. I want you to understand. Please go, please come on? Who got it? Who got it? Alright? You read big chance? Baby? You still we got another bottom.

Don't worry about up, you know, hold on? Maybe let me you can't go to what you finish that ship? Please on your please listen to this. This is Tupac. Okay, you always bring this record up and ship fun me up. There's nobody listen to me now, whole record. Let me use the back from ya. Listen. You cannot make this record if you're not really from New York. Listen, anybody

from New York. That's the argument you're making right now, I'm gonna make it after this finished, because we just had digital money be you know, with us and all of New York. And there's no way Nikas don't know about Skelly when he say, yeah, Mr Magic Flash got over, Bro, I gotta get you never heard this record? No really? Wow? Yeah?

This early pot Yeah. That sound that she's going like this had to be one of his probably, but pop he was sucking in his mind, not his mind, but he was everywhere like he was like he was in Baltimore, he was in New York, like he was born I think New York, New Jersey, right, what New York? Right? Right, New York. He was born in New York and right yeah,

and then he made his chops in Oakland. We had money be talking about that, and I think he felt upon genuinely had part of all these places, and that's what he's trying to always liked d No, no, he y'all said. I was with sig Ball right right, Okay, okay, stop, we don't California love sir, No, But I think that's way you're you're pinning those things against each other. I know I never heard that ship, you know, I don't. I don't think that's the way he's gonna pin it.

Go ahead, do you think don't California love, sir? I mean totally everybody knows California love. But all right, go ahead, everybody knows old school too. No, No, they never heard of their life. That's their fault. Damn, that's it. It's all. That's not that's that's definitely not coming love. That's not that's a love person to Can you get your life together? You're embarrassing me in front of all right, please get your life together, please, sir, and go to Fox verse

Gray verse. No, not like that, Dreys versus the first can't go straight up? I think he said, and we were Chuck's and not board. It's not Ballard right right right, But that sign probably knew because he's from here. But he had but he was, but he was, and he was raising Oakland too. Man. He adopted. You can't take away apted. He adapted, and he was from everywhere in his mind like he adapted, adapter every spot he was. He could probably go to Baltimore and tell all he

knew Baltimore. I'm not I'm not disagreeing with you. You are you do disagree me on that. I'm just saying this nig is a dangerous guy in what way and the way that he is. He made me believe both verses. He was truth to all the ship. He was saying. That was his truth. You can turn it up U. And I felt that Park was one of those dudes that he felt loyal to. Whoever he felt that moment was most loyal to him, so he would ride all the way he was going. That's called the dapting, that is.

But see, you know what you can't never take out of him. He's an East Coast nigger. Can't can one thing again. I think that that's one takeaway that we should honestly say everything you've been saying. Maybe you're not accepting the fact that maybe he was most hurt because he's an East Coast dude and he felt that East Coast hurt him. But he was wrong. Maybe not. How can you say that for him? I can't say that now.

I don't think you can't. I think personally that the the the not fucking when New York came because of what happened, right, he was not fucking with New York. This is I felt like it was it was. He wasn't because of what happened soon period, you know what you mean? It was completely to New York. Yeah, yeah, he was working with boot can't click attend of the

day because he something happened. So I think he was just loyal what you mean because he's saying ship like yo, when we say I'm weird chucks not balanced over here like that. I'm just I feel like, you know, he just mom me is I think that could be real loyal like you said, if you heard him, you know what I mean with his loyalty, Okay, then he wanted them over here. That's not a good thing, you know what I mean. So I'm just thinking like someone was just you know, he a little nigga with with a

big heart. Think about what you say that. You guys have been saying this. You guys are the whole time. Y'all been saying this the whole time. He was twenty three, and we stopped thinking about how young Park was this whole time. We stopped thinking that we're thinking an old man age now, we we were the age we are at drink champs right now. We put them in our

mind frame. But when he get shot ninety six. But let's be clear, like it's like it's like it's like, all right, let's do a short short that's that's a long term, right, Let's do a short term. Prodigy never really was from Queensbridge at all, God bless, that's what I love Produgy, love him to death. But he adapted that, right, so many people being from Queensberg saying he adapted saying

he's from Queen's Grace. He adapted that, right, it's actually that hood has to actually co sign that that hood has to be like that's like from Stepien. Term you're hanging out with that doesn't make you from parking it, right, Like I don't give a funk how many times you came eight year olds and lucky charms, Right, it's still safe. I don't gonna how many times I hang out Queen's Bridge. I just washed my clothes and poem crib because poem was the only thing I knew in the projects who

had to wash and dry. But I never knew washing Thursdays is Sundays. I'm overhead. I'm not coming with the coins or nothing, because you know that's how you ever washing? Yea, I was fifty, right, I sound like the candy man, I sound like the tin man from whichards I feel stick, gonna washer and the dryer. Right I went to far, I don't I don't even know what the point was me up. What I'm saying is it never made me

for Queen's Bridge. I can go out there to three times a week, I can take her of beef with pone is not there where his own moms would hit me and I would whatever. Still never made me from Queen's cred And even thinking from Queensbrich who loved me, and I woke out and I broke night with them niggas and and and was that ship the graveyard shift? And I was so cracked with me? But at the end of the day, I was still a left frack right right, got you. I got a certain amount of ship.

But as soon as my back turnament is like frag Nick, I had to accept that Pocket is the only dude in the universe that did that with a coast. He locked down on New York. We love him in New York. We still love him in New York. I don't want of the dudes and still claiming him. This is my whole point, is say nik from New York. It's my whole point of this hard but not even just a coach to remember what money was here. It's even California,

because California in the California, they two different regions. So when guys on here and this underground said, oh well, let me tell you something. The way Pop was rhyming on that record right there, it gave me an extra extra um which one California love or before that, it gave me an extra slect for him because they never heard it, and I'm most of them, I'm necessarily what he's saying. So that's crazy, you know what I'm saying. When the nigga started talking like that, that means he

knows what it is. But like I said, you could take a New York nigga anywhere anywhere. And if a nigga feels you loyal to him, like you said earlier, how loyalty and respected. You know what I mean. The nigga shill came and got him out of jail. He did something that niggas at the end of the day and the good nigga had him jammed and they said, yea, I got you. He loyal. He went loyal after that

straight loyal, you know what I'm saying. So to me, Pop always just represented you know, a real niggas tail in its own way. He got hurt, you know what I'm saying. Nigga shot him in the face. You know, whatever happened happened, and he never got to the end of it. It's like, if you're coming in a situation with respecting and you get hurt, Yo, that ship could turn us in the enemies. It's like, it's something happened to me leaving Drink Champs. Nigga and y'all ain't got

nothing to do with it. But I'm gonna be like, y'all got something to do with it. Coming from Drink Champs. You can't expect the negative forever. Be faithful to that, you know what I mean. And you know, like I said, I know Pop love Big, I know Big love Pop. We can we all saw it on stage. But them two brothers, for real, It's like those are martyrs to

us in a game. Almost like Jesus said Moses. Jesus said Mohammed, Like how mom is so yeah, I sent you to the Islamic religion, and how Jesus, that's that's how, That's how but that leads me to um to y'all, jesus, y'all ossireous. From the moment I met Mutang, from the moment I see forget me me meeting Mutang. Excuse me, Let me remain the fan that I am. For the moment I see Mutang, I knew it was special. I didn't know how it's special. I didn't know what then

why you're special. But I knew this is We're never gonna see this again. I also knew every individual zone marksman, but it was one guy who kind of stood out. At times he stood out for the wrong reason, but at times most of the things put out for the right reason. When he interrupted that awardship, he said, for the kids, that's the right reason to be. No who is even though everybody else somebody be like, what you

know is m hm, you know who he is? Man, I'm gonna take a sip of this real quick, brother, brother, Oh dirty bast I don't get out of I tell Nie said today. And this is a fact because I know this for a reason. He was the vessel for the motivation. You know what I mean? He was the make rizzle see right what it is? You know what I mean could see Rizzard. One thing about Rizzard, Riz is a shot due. So he needed a ship leader that was giving him ship that he needed to realize

he had. Dirty. Dirty was the one when when we was at our lowest moment and not believing in this ship, Dirty would come in the room and to take him two point three seconds to get back up to be like, be the best nigga, the best I don't know would come to you like in the world, say way early. And it was. And Reason was the type of dude to be flattered by the accolades, you know what I mean. But when Dirt was saying that, yoll, this group is gonna be this group. He's seen a vision, Rudy, he

knew that that was needed, that was needed. And Yo, he trusts your production wizard. So we trusted Dirty, trusting him. We all trusting each other. That's why I said, it's like a mall man like he's coming the Reason, like he's a true I'm gonna shoot up. We don't know each other like that, but we're coming together because we were said you being the gun, No the gun, You're gonna make the ship ring. We just was never met a nigger like that ever in my life. He was

I'm y'all. He was, I'm like ya third yo. He was everything Yo. Yeah, he gave me my soul. He maybe not really like give a funk about nothing like I met him with Risen. I'm meeting the hero Pastrami and cheese, ship, hot and all that. The first day you meet him. First du met, Nigga said to me, Yo, God, get a piece of that yo. Never never never met like na be like Yo like yo, and it's risk cousin like you know what I mean. So I'm like, I go ahead, boom my game half of the ship

and ate it. While was eating the piece, and Nigga said, Yo, ordering my babies. God, that's the best thing I ever had in my life. My babies and hard Yo listens said my baby because everything was word his babies with him everything. He's what's my quarterborth my babies shouting my biggest the best ship Yo, Yo. That was just ship all the time, his babies. That's I got. Gave that ship. And I started listening to the niggas like all the time and ship. But you know my movie should drink

you know what I mean? How her friends and ship like that, and I bring dirty to the crib and they all in their singing fly slow Jians, ROBERTA Flack and all that. Ship. You know, listen pass hold that we can be he over there with my mother, and I'm like, this is the tension, But yo, go with he ain't doing ship. I said. He never listened to rap. They say, all he listened to his soul and listen. The moments was his favorite group. The moment, the moments,

and he like flies ship like he going there. He just he was just nice with But it was like this man has so many ways so him like yo, like even when he got girls to this and that and third I remember one Tithing said, Yo, we did a show in Philly and and and and you know, I'm about to go to our room. The lobby flooded Philly girls is the easiest girls in the world. We already Stolo and Gilly. They agree with me. They agree with you, right, says you might be right. Let me

say something. The Niggi king went like, fifty girls by self mcg by myself. The Nigga said, and and and and a lot of yo right me and a lot of you. I don't know if he was downstairs. We're in a lot. He like, yo, he came with all the girls. There's right behind them, they're all backhead. I'm looking at this nigga. He got Yo're like yo straight, he say you straight? Whatever? He was just straight. He'd be like this, this was him, right. You go with him, You go with him, you go with him, Like he

just quarterback that old ship. I'm like, oh sick, but I've never seen it the way he did. It was so he was unique and that was his name. It was. It was a unique unique this about him that was like you're never ever ever ever see this ship. Like I say, like, yo, man, this nigga he didn't give a fuck. Like he didn't give a like nigga wears socks and a few days in a row, the nigga jopp is sandwich from the floor, picking up, blowing off

God made dirt, dirth, doing hurt. He was that type of real nigger like that, like you know what I mean, Like yo, I could be with the could be up his nose, plugging his buckers and just going like this with the ship like this. To give him a five. He was, he was like that, like what's uping on.

I was wait a minute, right right right right, oh yeah, and be talking to you just like ship like Yo, you know what I mean, Like Yo, he's a picnic y. It's like y'all stop doing that ship man, Yo, nigga said one day right and the mall, he said, Yo, he's like bags chicks. The nigga said, Yo, Yo told him her name his name, didn't know who he was. He said, Yo, no, you don't know me. Smoke dirty Yo that but now you really don't know me. I think he's just busted like me and Mra Yo got

the bitch. I'm like ya this Nika Yo, I'm like, how the fund? Could you just go out and say some ship like that? You know what I mean? Like but that was dirt, he keeping a buck like you know what I mean. Like I even seen when we used to be on stage and Math used to be doing his ship and the crowd going bonkers for Math and Dirt. And I know Mobou I know him because you know, before we started this ship, it was like

we was getting busy in other places. This ship you know many when he's like Yo, he just watching them and I'm looking at this nick looking at the method and then when Dirt going on stage, he wonna go up there and say nothing, Yo, Dirt won't see nothing. He just put that one in the air like that, and the crowd of just go crazy. Like It's almost like he was almost Chille. That's how I like he was battling because Dirt want to be first, he want

to be the best, but Methods already fired. So now it's these two and I don't even think that meth because Nep is going on stage and did Dirt will come on next? Like but for me and him having a relationship, I'm like, yo, my brother crazy be yeah, b But he was that like Racia. He was special. Good yeah good. Now every time I mat I met Dirt, it's always been great. I meant him in an actually Neptune studio, he was in there with the next one. But let me um slightly serious, but you know, just

to hey, you brother's reaction. There was one shooting that happened in Best Stop right? Was that a warning? Like, because because y'all the top of the world and Dirt still hanging out in the Best Stop, right, He's still hanging around, and there was a shooting that happened now is that something that along the aill y'all did y'all all say, you know what, maybe it's time to get security.

Maybe it's time to you know, not hang out and park Hill hang out on the staple to him, maybe it's time to hang out and Chelsea peers that never came across the hall. Nah. See, you know what it is, You know what it is. It's like nah, only because it's like you gotta remember, like I told you, he was as symboled. He was as symboled, you know what I mean. That's the first top something that happened to

like AOL member. Yeah, it's like, you know, but it's like it's like having a brother that you know, at the end of the day, you can't you can't. You can't try to make him what you want him to be. He gonna be who he is and you gotta accept everything that comes with him. You know, we love him, you know what I mean. You know, it got to the point where it was like, you know, even if Dirt we knew he was sucking something up, we loved him so much that he could get away with it.

He can get away with it. But yeah, it's like, yo, that's him, you know what I mean, Like he said, because we knew it was hard, she sunk. We don't judging man by his character, were judging by his heart, you know, and he had a big heart, and he just you know, I just felt like we should have been there a little bit more to kind of like show some kind of support in times where he needed it, because you know when he went away, When he went away, it's like, Yo, we were on the road. Yo, your

sharing is still in it. You still you were hand me. This is important, right, Your shares is dead. We're making sure that everything we're doing, the cut is dead. But nobody never went to go see him. But we went to go see him one time as a unit was an HDM and something as a unit or as a unit, you know what I mean. I know we went to the jails. You remember, we went to the jails and we before and we jumped. They told us, they told us, don't jump in the crowd because they think it's some

other ship. And we're like, yeah, cool, cool, And then we jumped in the crowd, you know what I mean. But and I remember that day because Dirty was eating be finish it. He at the cheeseburger to say, laughing, independ independent, you know what I mean, but you know, not being there for him through his situation that we were hear stories like, yo, they got my brother in the hospital, they got him in the g building. Do you know what I mean. They're giving them this, and

they're giving him that. And then you see him when he come home and it's like we grab him, you know what I'm saying, which when you're supposed to like you know, but at that time, he already had me his decisions on where he wanted to be and he couldn't and he had the right to feel like that due to whatever you know, how it is. Well, we talked about Rocketbeller, right because when he gets home, he

went to Rocketeller. But the thing about it was looking at his story because I went and I did research on his story. His story was I've seen ghost lead, seeing great league. I've seen you got leave, I seem mastercular league, I've seen method man lead. So when he came home, he was planning his escape. And this is according to leave the right description. I don't want to

leave the rightness. I think that that was into what y'all would do like to go and do your own deals and its descriptancys on that because some people say, I believe it's you that's say we left on our own, and then I think it's you to say, now I had to fight for that. I did have to fight, and you know, because I was executive other ship, you know what I mean, And I'm deal with raise your shop over there at the joint, you know things. But

when you say executive, what do you mean executive? Yeah, exactly, you're one of the executives as well, exactly because I'm I'm like a founder, you know what I mean. I'm the one that that that really gave Richard the wood chain, the CD you know, all that. Ever on how he he I'm gonna make a group out of this, right, yeah, wou tage very Charlotte, you know what I mean, the woutang name from that about the Wog movie. Actual, yes, yes, you music could argue me down, but I know what

it is. It makee f time with this, you know what I mean. Exactly, I'm doing the documentary. I think he said, you know what, whatever, you're shooting it. But anyway, it's like, um, yeah, you know, yeah, but you go through ship, you know what I mean. But dirt was an important piece. You don't mean of the of of of you know, other claim like Race said earlier. Um he was he was the soul you know what I means, a strong would could the heart of it or whatever.

You know what I mean. He's like a Draymond green on On on the war, you know what I mean, Like, Yo, it's one of those like yo, and then given gonna give it to you, bro, you know what I mean. So so um yo, that was that, you know. But like he said, at the same time, we was young, ye, you know what I mean, I didn't know like I'm out this student. We still run of the streets and taking care but we gotta take care of because we

still signed and ship. Yo, ray We didn't know like really to be like Yo, come here man, yoa what's wrong with you? Man? And this is not in the dird because like he said, he got a good heart and we're funk with him and he had laughed with you and do all this other ship, So it wasn't really like we don't really know how you don't know how serious it is until he gets took it away, you know what I mean. But let me ask you. So when he went to Rocket Feller, right, did that

hit you in the wrong way? Could it be in the wrong way? Uh? It was, but it was didn't go to other competition like you went it was the epic, I believe right he Yeah, no, I was on with Razors shot. You know what I'm what I'm trying to say is I went to death Jam a little bit. Yeah, Rockefeller and Wu Tang would be more competition than it would be Epic in Colombia. Or you know, he's right

because you're like, you got Dame over there. Your Dame is like the divine Yeah, you know what I mean, Like, yo, he's split over it's like that or whatever. So did y'all ever feel but when because when you know that's your family, right, But y'all most of you are probably not communicating with him, not not not in a bad way, but it's just like you know when people in jail, like I couldn't communicate with Poe. Just send the money, that was it, right, But I couldn't communicate. But because

at the time he didn't have cell phones. I don't have cell phone. But he comes home, he I imagine he's not sharing this information telling y'all, I'm gonna go fuck Rocket Fun. So y'all hear the information at the same time that the public kids, this is what I'm imagining. That's not right for me? Yeah, just what is that? Is that true for you? Was the something that because because I remember him saying, JESSI called him even though Jesse was out of the root text on Jesse said

what are you doing? Put on the Rockefeller Jay or what are you doing? Was that anytime any of y'all felt that same way? Now for me, it's like I understood why he felt that way, and I wanted to see him win the best way that he felt he needed to win. So I was neutral with it because it's business. You know what I'm saying, Nick coming home looking for opportunities, niggas is showing love in respect to that. I'm a knock him because he wanted to make a move,

you see what I'm saying. But at that time, it could have felt like, yo, everybody was doing anything because it got to the point where we all felt like, Yo, you know this ship is solid, but YO, I still own my my my territory. My territory is my territory, So you know, I at the end of the day, you can't knock and make it trying to go feed itself and feed his family, you know. And I never really crossed my path to look at it like you're a trade up or whatever the case may be, because

I already felt what he was already going through. You know. Um that's when you start with chard. You know, if I was stetting younger, if I was a little young, I probably, but it took it like you know, something else. But um, you know, you know what I mean. You can't look at that film and look at it. Everything is being accurate, you know what I'm saying. We know, we know. But at the end of the day, Dirt, he had to do what he had to do. But I just wish he was a little bit more closer

to him, you know what I mean? Whatever that a little bit more time to kick it with him and ship see right now, be older. So you know what exactly I look at them. I want you to finish it exactly exactly what I really looked at all the old for this, y'all. Like when you say yeah, I mean, y'all say he was the heart. I hear, y'all. But I see y'all wall and I hear y'all when I saw you know, because like I said, yeah, my family.

But I didn't want to short change this, so I went and I just kept looking at this footage and I'm looking at it, I'm like wow, Like O, dB was really like, what's that ship? The nucleus? The nucleus means the middle, right, So although you got Ris over here, smart as hell, you left the vall and you got you got moved, you got you know where he goes.

You got it. But in some crazy way, it felt like dirty was it was it was him, It was it was him, yo, listen, and he was mad them don't let when he came out of jail for you when he when when when they gave all that medication and made him all slow and blew his face up and all the other ship like daddy had a time, like he don't the way he was at I was hurt, like yo, like the funk that ain't unique what he was saying, likee right there he was saying when he

came home, he was a different person. Of course, Yeah, of course I've never heard that he was shaking and all that ship like like us seeking a little six in Paul, Come, I'm out head. I'm out head watching beats and my brothers up, you know. And then it was like, yo, man, that ship just broken, like no, this saint unique, Unique Unique was out there like he

was a fly motherfucker. He was into everything like yo, like we don't both got shot at and doing ship, like just doing ship like you know what I mean. But that wasn't him. He was slow. So, for lack of a better term, goes a lot of people. They're looking at boutie man, they're looking at the booty and they're saying, this is a cloned version. You didn't feel like that about O. D B. That was not because I knew that that was I knew that was a because you know, I just when you know somebody all

your life, I'm not all your life. But you know, we was close. He was close, but it was just that job, that medication in there, and you know, because he started like going off his rocket a little bit before you even went in a little bit, you know what I mean. But it was like, yo, faces fact, this is that in the thirty slow Nah, it wasn't himself. He wasn't dead and I was and I was fucked up for everybody to seem that way like that. I

didn't die after that, you know what I mean. So yeah, Also, this was like I was a kid when I saw it at first, when o dB escaped from the rehab place, and to listen, by the way, I'm thinking my child's time. So when I'm watching this, I'm like, just obviously they're acting this out. And then I'm looking at that and I realized, as I'm older, Dirt mcgurt would he escaped from the rehapp place, jumped on stage with a boot thang what a women are bottle in his head? Oh website,

It's just like that. Yeah, so classic, and it gets all right. I can't do too much at least looking for me. Yeah, just like a real journalist. I'm trying. Let me, let me, let me listen, but listen. When he did that, it was the first time we realized there's no difference from us in the streets, us wrapping. There's not not one difference. The man stood there and

niggas just like you walked bold. We haven't performed for you for three years, three years you haven't been around, and Dirt is looking like I gotta hearry hup right right? That was him. That was that. That was him. Like y'all remember one time he had a warrant and ship and they were like you said, they was looking for him and ship, and he was like, we had a show that night, so you know, it's all of us there.

So we're like, damn, don't even missing his dirt. Well he ain't coming because you know he on the one right now, y'all remember y'all he walked in the spot nigger. It was him and his mother nigga and they were then or his mother, Adam and his mother. They walked in on some fly gangster ship to the stage and all that. It was like everything went slow motion after that. But he was like, yo, how you walk in with your mom's you know when you gotta warrante? Dirty? See,

Like I said, he was courageous man. He was. He was everything made you know, and a lot of times I always personally took it like he loved to entertain people. If he know he could make you laugh, he's gonna make you laugh all the time, you know what I'm saying. Being around him when he's sober, it's like, go said, like, yo, he's a serious, dude, you know what I mean. He got you know, he really loved what we was doing

and he wanted to be a part of it. But he knew he couldn't hang with this because it was like we all ain't on the same way, you know what I'm saying. Like, you know what I mean. Prime example, he was the you know what's my niggap on the Temptation's name on David Ruffen nigga. You know what I mean. He was the Roughen nigga the crew like he was moving and searching on his own and and and figuring

out his own way. You know what I'm saying. But at the end of the day, he loved niggas, but it's just that he couldn't really funk with niggas like that only when after the money came. All this happened after the money came. Yeah, you know what I mean, when the money was When the money was low, niggas would be like this, you know what I mean, because we don't know the choice. But speaking about the money.

Who tanked Forever Hip Hop's first man dollar video Di Dirt Dirt That video right there, you see Dirt Net. You know why Dirt wanted to get paid. He wanted some money. He's like Yo and niggas. They had that money on the set. He was dead. He he didn't give a chalk, didn't show so falling off the roof. That was Papa Wool. That wasn't dirt, you know what I mean, that's what you had a mask that wasn't dirt. That was hiving dirt. Want that bread? They had a

phone Brett mcnick having fond fuck you I did. That's sick. I don't want it that bread. He was dead. Yeah, he was dead. That's how Dirt was fun that. But they also said the re crast for the Man out of video was you, Oh yeah, I was down with that. You wanted Why did you want a million dollar video? Nah? We didn't look at it like a million Now we had a million out of thoughts. Didn't do a big video. Just came out to them. You know what, you know

what that was a million that I loning million back then? Yeah, that was you know, that was around the chime where you know videos was serious of the time. Nah, we went, but he wasn't popping yet though we have none of that out yet. He wasn't on that wave. Like making movies. He was just he was nah, he just had a good recommendation through Steve Rifkin, you know what I mean. The video actually the video wasn't actually a million. It was like like eight hundred and ninety thousand or some

ship like nine hund you know. But but it was just the way the song sounded it. You know, me and wizards thinking, you know, fucking um you know, just some other ship and um word. We just had all these visions and ship but you know, deck being Spider Man on, you know, putting a bunch of ships inside one video or that we felt was like, yo, it's gonna be something crazy, and you know that came out to be the number. Okay, this is the only wood take video I did not like ever. You want to

be flint Stones. Flint Stones he called the flint Stones. I mean yeah. The name of the song was called gravel Pit It's a great record, and that was rizis called it's a great record. But the true you know what I mean, you gotta do it on the day, you know what, because I never liked it that right there the record back the videos you ain't on the head was out on the I think that remind you like a flint stone, you know what I mean? That

was that way, you know what I mean. We we was out there and two hundred degrees brothers in first Oh my god, Yeah, seating my fur out so much, A shrunk because if you can't sweating fur like that, because it was shrinking when you I didn't know that ship is back in that city again. Later on, I got to give it to my son. So let me ask y'all. The first deal we signed, he signed this Deep King Live Records. I believe you the one that said you got a G out the deal. I believe

you don't even remember if you got a G or not. Yeah, but if you got when I got you go, you mean one case one makes a noise for one k, but one case you can be like rain goes, this is taking one came. Yeah, I took the five k. It was terrible for me because we took the g off for what off the first because no, we got like thirty six thousand nons for that yif first. Yeah, yeah, we got thin and piece in the restaurant to fucking making the wreck the record. Yeah, that's money in it,

that's humble. Yeah, we took a chance on risking, Like he said, I a prompt, you'll take a chance on us. We took a chance. We just heard. We just said that yesterday, even just heard that I can get your risk on us, take a risk. We did hear that, right, So that's not a relaxed yo. Let me tell you something, man, you have my family and my brothers, my friends, but it doesn't take away anything that we did tonight because I'm still your fans, and I will never stop being

your fans. Like I will never stop being your fan. I would always play. I would always you know, I've seen a part because I did studies on y'all. And one thing the Wizards said that I really loved, he said, I let him think that the only thing that I wanted was when I put the flag back down for the brothers to come back together. And I don't know if y'all believe that or not, but I know that sounded great and it's beautiful for a person to say, you know what, we all got together. We all did

what we gotta do. But when I put that whoop there back down, let's all comestom vote tron right. So one of our last questions is Martins cruciality because that's also a little hold on, let me get this one passed on that. You know what I mean us You could say I can say fucking out, he can't me all right, but we won't never talk about nothing. We don't not the album, not none of that. It's nothing until about. But I want to say this so just to get on some positive ship. You know, being in

the business for like twenty seven joints. You know, I'm proud of my brothers because we're still here. You know what I'm saying. I got brothers in the movie world, you know, you know, brothers still being creative. You've got brothers, you know, being professors. You know, shout out the chess are running to doing things. And you know we write books. You know, your brother got a book out. This book right here, something like a do you know. It's some memois.

It's a memoir state case the stage. You know what I'm saying, This is a book that I wrote. Just that's crazy because but what the moral of what I'm saying is like we're still here, man like do thick and thin, being around each other and just getting to know each other more. It's just like I love all

my brothers, you know what I mean. This might be the closest one semi based on the fact that we had three careers, you know what I mean, Dylan, We know, having one with the Woo, having our own personal solo, and then having our own situation. But at the end

of the day, there's three. Three is three. You've got three careers and what I'm saying too solo doo And so for us to still be in person and still doing what we're doing, still killing shows because we kill shows, you know that, Like really, you know what I mean. And it's like it's fun. It's like, you know, we do it, of course to get paid and take care of our families, but we do it because we love it.

You know what, I love it. Make it's still and that's why whatever we go through as a family, we always come back and make it make sense something I love it. I love somehow. It's very tough to keep a group together and you told me that a long time agouse by saying, Yo, we ain't the only ones that's going through We go through you know what I mean, Like group's been going through ship for years, so you know it's a dynasty. Man, you know, um, it's gonna

be here forever. You know, as times we do shows and next thing you know, you see sixteen year old, seven teen year old, eighteen year olds, nineteen year olds in the crowd singing this ship. So it's a duty for us the kid keep continuing the shine on these nicks, letting them, letting them get it. So anything that we go through is like you gotta put it to the side for a minute, just for a minute. Google serve that that you was in USIC backroom. I got two

more questions. That's it. I want you to say, suching my brother real quick, they're coming back, because yeah, yeah. Let me ask you all real quick though, because when y'a are talking about being in junior high together, the y'all, how could you imagine what would be happening today in this in this age of y'all live right now? Would you even imagine that? I didn't. I couldn't imagine it.

It's too far fetched because it's like, you know, like I said, we was just brought together to do something for a second that we felt was gonna benefit each other, but not really, no one. This is gonna be like a real brother to me. A brother that I never had, That's what I'm saying. So it's like it's like that now. So whatever we do to each other, it's always gonna be a brotherhood, regardless of what. You know. What I mean the year is that we spent together to the

NICs being broken. Yeah, you know what I'm saying in the bus cramped up like this. It's like, that's why niggas made movies about us, because you know what it waits we make our movie, don't gonna get a chance to see. It's gonna be a rare ghost movie. Just just know that before we even go there with it. Just snow, it's always in the makings. It's a thought. It's really deep to us, like you're just only seeing the painting right now. One pain exactly, all right, so serious.

Two questions left, it's most part questions of this whole interview to man. Yeah, two first solo albums. We'll start with you. Purple tape already comes out, correct, it's time for you go in. I am man. M hmm. What's your thoughts? What's on? Went on? What are you doing? Every it's everyone from the clan members turned this year time. By the time that got to me, I had a rig came to me. It was like, yo, it's that time, but you only got like a couple of months to

do this ship, you know what I mean. But mind you, I just found out that was like a diathetic at that time, you know what I mean, because when you look at me and the ice Cream video, my face is all fatter everything like that, you know what I mean. By the time I got the Iron Man, it don't slim down like you know what I mean? And I beat the sicking damn right. Um, I was in a bad place at that time. It was dark because to me,

I ain't mean it's super dark. And when Riz played those beats for me on the land, I just picked out the Fattis ship that real quick because we wasn't working with other producers at that time, like taking beats from Premier and this one and that. When they're all that like that, I just what risk? You know what I'm saying. So, but spiritually I wasn't really there, mind you. Coming off of the ride with him, Yeah, listen, I gotta get that energy and better. But it wasn't dead that.

It was a little bit a little bit because I was hoping that my mind state would have been there like that to do that, because that's I was so fucked up just what happened or iron Man. Besides it being dark, I didn't rhyme on two records. I let him do faster played by myself an assassination day. I couldn't even get on it because I couldn't even think. I couldn't even think, like my pain game wasn't really where I wanted to be after leave him, win him, you know what I mean. But but I had to

harry up. That's why I don't do deadlines no more. You know what I mean, Like rushed me to get and do this when this is an art you know, take trying to bake your fucking cap man, you know what I mean. So I had to learn that, had to go through that ship. But I ain't man, it is so dark to me, RACI it is. Let I picked out the best beast that I could take from Risin at that time, and to this day, that's my first joint. But I don't really feel it like that. No,

it's not in my soul. I just want to you know, he's crazy, crazy to safe. I'm not telling you it's a classic, But you do agree it's a class. If I was in my right fucking state of minds that I didn't run one of the records because of like that, I didn't. I didn't do that because I couldn't. I couldn't, but I had to get the record done, right. I had to get it done. That's crazy, you know what I mean? I was. None of your fans will agree with you, but I understand. I understand that's you. That's

I understand. Listen. I was was going through ship. It was dark, best friend left for twenty five years. Joe, did you? I mean do did you? We can do that flame on Supreme Crowd of Town. It started to come back. Yeah, it's come back to me what he said though he's making iron Man, His man is right here, man. That's how I found him. Shot him pissing every five minutes,

losing mega way. By the time I got the triumph, if you look at me and raising that same video back to back, my neck was so fucking skinny, bro. And that's when you went to Africa. That's after that's after that, ye go after that to try to go find a cure or something like that. At way, I just think. I think I didn't get the funk out of here. I had to get the funk out of here, you know what I mean. So it was all of that like that, like gonna just go. It was dark

for me. It was dark. It didn't this is some funny ship. I got the delve finals and the shoot out on Sat Dowland. They need to shoot that with me, the Delfinings Delfin, Yeah, the niggers in shoot that with me. Got the niggas in the fifteen fast and I'm blowing out this change this chick playing games. I started shooting at this nigga niggas in the back of me, and the fucking then you know what I mean, and and and money hitting back and those other ships. So we

riding right like yo. This it was crazy. So by the time I got to say sorry to these niggas and ship, you know what I mean, dude, These niggas was like Yo, They're like Yo, don't worry about man. I said, told me to bring my knife and ship. Remember these whole men now like know me like, but they like nigga cool because I'm thinking, like, damn, what the fights there? Filing to the shootout like a crazy. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, oh, ship, this is

pretty way they feeling this album. They feeling niggas. Yeah, it was on my album. They might did that record that night after the circus clip. Oh my god. I'm like, Yo, I got to the studio like Yo, were elevated like you, I'm sorry, then Yo, the fucking sorry. I'm sorry, Yo, Yo, worry not. And then so tell me to bring my knife. Told me to bring my knife and ship. So I'm like, fun, I felt so fucking bad for like, you know what, I need to shoot out with the delta. They backing

me fifteen passengers. They just see me blowing that to snigger, you know what I mean? Because Nigga was like in the front of me, in the front, the Nigga listen. Then Nink in the front he playing games and ship. So he see me through the fucking red view. So we in and whip and I'm like, yo, he's I see Nigga smiling looking through the riff, looking through the ship. He's spelling at me like Yollo like that, Like yeah,

Nigga taking real slow, real slow. I'm like, oh ship, so del fund us in the back fitting white dad something like Yo, just nicking playing games like Yo and I had joint. So I'm like, I don't know. The niggas just kept on going slow stopping, so we gott stop behind because you're right behind them, like yo, the sticking throughing ship. As soon as he turned off the eyes good ship like that the Laurel ship, like you

don't come down. As soon as he made that turn windows back windows, yea, I got the dude, they're following us, and check it out. They followed us in the room the other shooting niggas. They turned around that ain't back in the big man, Yo, racing through the ride down they see this ship, well they turned off. I guess I ain't see him when we got to the studio and ship. But I was like, yo, man, I'm worried

about these niggers. You know what I mean, like go hold on by came to the record, you're listening, there was you. I was like, the best ship I heard about a lot at the ones, La La la the record. When you see it was a record, Joe, I think we might did the record that night, you know what I mean. But I'm telling you, but but but I'm in you know I just wasn't dead for it coming off when it would have been if I was in my right state of mind. Oh listen, and it have

been beautiful. It's not crazy because as a fan, just say, you know, most of us didn't see that. Most of us do. Let's do it again. I gotta I gotta listen listen to that. It's dark, especially when he gets to the last last couple of songs, three full songs, and all us it's like it's like, I'm gonna listen to it. I'n't do that, or I gotta you know that ship, that ship is like that's that's like a dark record too, like me think about it, But I don't think about it like that because the record took

me there, you know me. But I was going through some much ship at that time. It was like it just had to come out. It just came out like that. It ship, Yeah exactly, But nobody never really knew that ship. They didn't really know that ship. Ain't so ray. But I'm just saying, like I didn't rhymin other records because I couldn't think I'm losing weight and nig I'm thinking like a some WLD ship like it's just too much.

She was gonna, you know, on like that or whatever and ship like yo be and you know, and I mean, it's what it is. You know what I like about it. I like that I'm covering you know what I mean? The best album coming to me in the world. You know what I mean. He's colorful. You know what, man, you got the Cuba in King's up here. It's like, yo, you know how much money clocks made? Man? Man, we can give it a couple of Now, I gotta ask you the same as that question, because the one thing

that I believe, I think the von said it. The ball said I am mad made goes. I stopped. He said who he said, I am man made you a star? Oh, and then he said, only built for Cuban links made ray call a star like outside of utank. So it's kind of a two part question. One do you agree with that statement? And too, how did like only built for Cuba had you go in to make a massacre like that? Do I feel like how he felt it made me a star? Yeah, because all eyes was on me.

I was I was leading the ship. It's like it's like to come in the captain of a crew you know what I'm saying. It's like I have my own crew now, and I know it was important to drive everybody into a world where the niggas have feel like, at end of the day, Yo, he did enough to support the next nigger that's coming out us. You know. It's like it's like going to do your job and do your job right. So yeah, he passed the tests.

You know what I mean. Yo, Now you go to this man, he gotta pat Now we're looking at him. Is you next? Now you gotta pass the test? You know? Um, you know, like I said, it was, it was fun, just just just kidding it in because we was young and we was couldn't believe we was what we was at. We was making a lot of money. You know, he's able to take care of our family and pod cars

and ribs and all that ship. But I know, I know it was a serious time making that album back in ninety five because I never asked you this, what does only built for Cuban links? Man? Only built for Cuban links? Just like I think of a link, it's like certain chains can never be broken. You know, mentally, I don't even know if I go At the same time, do y'all ghost. Y'alls got cute yaing's got bick cuman, so let's stick with y'all. Ship. You got a baby,

you gotta toddler. That's very anyway up in me because the only people are cupid lace At this time, you're talking about the jury, but you're talking about your click. Yeah, I mean just the just the mental page of it. Like when you think of a chain, you think that it can never be broken according to that size of the chain. The way the links connect, you know, the way we feel we connect with our brothers is that way,

like nothing could ever break this, you know. So that was that was my thought on it where I felt like, Yo, it's only built for those niggers, slot nigga niggers. The end is that dude and niggs that do also We're the big ship that come out and earned that the weird that you earned it, you know what I mean. You might have had a couple of scars to show your medals on who you were, but you had the respect on the block because everybody can win. Those nigga come at you for a little air ring with a

rope in your ear. It's like, Yo, the nigger came up, you know, we we came up like that. So when it got to that level where it was like, yo, you win big Cubans and your mentality change because everybody around you're supposed to trust, supposed to love them. That's what that's what Cuban links meant. Only build for those niggas that stick together. Let's getting to the album now, because, like Ghost said, I think said this Earliday, it's like a scar Face record. Mm hmmm. I don't even know

how to describe that. I don't. I don't in my mind if I had your budget, your lifestyle, I would have definitely been in like the Maldis and so because you're using that project elevator exactly and I'm looking like m But the concept of the record incarcerated Scarf, Like what what what? What's going through your mind? Is this is this? This is your preference for the single? Like just just just just bring me back to that for a second. Sorry, Um, you know that record was Um,

that record got made quick. I came up at Rich the studio one day, It's probably like early in the morning. I heard him playing this ship Automatically. I fell in love with the beat right away. He's playing for somebody else now. He was in his crib. He was in his crib like playing and making beats or whatever, and I just walked into You know how you just feel his energy right away? Boom yo oh ship. I just ain't even say that until I just started writing to it.

But I wrote the hook first, which I don't normally do you know what I mean, I don't really write hooks right away, um, you know, just really vibing with it. I just felt a good energy and I did three verses, but my verses was more like freestyle versus. It wasn't like I had no concept or no thought to really aim at something particularly. It's just yell, let me just free style rhyme over this ship, yo. But it was

a quick rhyme. And the reason why we did in the projects is because we, like he said, he was still in that project mentality. I wanted my niggas to be proud of of knowing that we're doing it in the hood again, we're doing it with our niggas. And I had a lot of niggas that was locked up, so you know what I mean. I was thinking about that at the same time with the hook, like all my niggas locked up because we lost a lot of

thiggas around that time. You know, I could name three niggas that have forty years three just three niggas forty years worth of ship they gotta get back. So you know, I just wanted to do something for all our niggas, like I gotta make shore on this album that we touched those niggas that ain't here because they had so much to do with. You know what we're stand today for is you know what I mean talking how we

talk here fast nigga. When he right this nigga, I've seen him making the back of milk cars, brown people bags like he just do ship like like damn bricks like this, writing like that, like fuck fast, I'm so snicker, you know what I mean. You know what I mean, put his ships that I gotta think. I think too much what I'm doing my ship, you know what I mean? So I know what he's talking about because I wasn't

even there for that session. A lot of other sessions I've is dead for you know I mean, but when he did that, uh spot, now I was dead for spots, just sucking. Uh the Green Rock, the Green Eye what's that one that ship north Star, north Star and all that ship like this's the slow ship. It's like this when his ship go off, it's like if he didn't win, that got me spitting, like how I how I spit like you know what I mean, like getting caught up in his ship, you know what I mean. So that's

why I'll tell him this ship dangerous? But what does it concerrated scar face mean? What does that mean? It's it's just representing those niggas that didn't make it. It's it's for those conserrated like jail Custom and you got Star and you got you know what I mean. It's like it's like fevery nigga that I got a scar. It's like whether it's web on you, you paid your dudes to have that scar, you know what I mean? If he was an athlete that you worked hard and

you damn man, crush your whole ship. You work hard to get to that level where that you sacrifice that, so that's always going to be a part of you, you know what I'm saying. So it's like like he said, they had a lot to do with the mentality to the niggas that woid you know, what I mean. Some niggas got hit with scars and now that ain't stopping nigga. It's like, yo, that come with the terrotory, a gunshot wound,

you know what I mean. Niggas that war ship for the right, for the reason to get them when they had to them. And yeah, let me tell you something. Niggas dropped the albums. But we had errors. He had errors. What a s can you say? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I couldn't tell if you were saying for the people that with a fucking ask yo, be you know what I mean? And that and and and that just showed the strength. That was strength, like he said, it's it's a bunch

of us instead of third. But we had ever. It was just like, yeahlet's stay whoever right there, whether it was like six months, seven months or whatever. If that brick beaming, then with us fool solo ship at the same time and still continue when the to hold that flag, you know what I mean, we was dead with that. He was dead and you wanted to throw that at the end one tithing. You know, it was one of the most beautiful moments. We could end this one of

the most beautiful moments. It was in the documentary, y'all all sitting down. It's all, y'all, it's rezis over there. I think Rays at the other side of the table, and I think you eat spaghetti and y'all sitting there and you're just talking to each other and and it's no business. It's just y'all talking to each other because and I'm just thinking as Biggie Small as lyrics and it goes, did you ever think of hip hop to

take it this fall? Because you look at the beginning for this, or y'all and then you look at I don't want to say the image for this because y'all, y'r legacy is continue to grow. It's gonna always continue to grow. So there's not the ending for this. But this is the later footage and I'm sitting there, y'all, y'all all and raised it's it's you. You went at

the head of the table. You're saying because I'm guessing this is a business men, because you're like, yeah, because we want to just make sure everyone all the business strike. You say that, but then you also say, I'm enjoying being here with my brothers, and I'm enjoying, you know, getting to know who y'all are. But then you also say, I want to know your babies. You say this, it's kind of whacked. You know, you got a baby, You got a baby, and we don't know each other's babies.

And I'm telling him, I supposed to call you and tell you this, you know, off the side. Cry Like I literally cried because I was like, damn, you know, as much as me and poems speak to each other, I don't really know his children. See that's something that I wouldn't never think though that I don't. And what's crazy is poem busits me more because Miami's just some more lit placed He come on a younis for excuse, he really comes to see me, but you get to

me my seeds. I don't really go to South Jersey. No, they just spread to South Jersey. There's just no reason for me to go to South Jersey. So I don't really get to see it, sees. But when you said that, y'all said there he said, Yo, listen, I believe it's huge, Like yo, yr sees ipposted to know your seed, you pepost to know my seas right, And I literally just like I know that you ain't trying to do that to me, But I literally was like like I couldn't hold it. I was just like, wait a minute. I

just think it just set my whole life. And and it's because we become important. We become important in our world, and sometimes we forget what's happening in your world. Get what's happened in your world, but all our world that stuff Rice Engravy and four ticket Wings motted us together. Mr Childs. Several ships. Yeah, sometimes ship for what it

really is and not when it is to be. We gotta put certain you know, when as you get older, we know how to put certain ships to the side, like you right, right right, because the seeds we still don't even know all each other's sees like that. We still don't you know what I mean. And that's and that's important because when I told you my siege went with his sees and sees, that's how you make That's

how you said that I make that. You see. Jay Z took it recently and reiterated it and said, he said, I remember where Wou Tang said, yes, sees, so and that's how I'm supposed to Ben, That's how it's really supposed to be. Roles to be going. You know what I mean. Really how we don't get too much time here, but you know what I mean, golf forbid something to happen a week from that, a little tomorrow, you know

what I mean? And ship like that. That's why I always telling my brother I love him before I break out for me, you know what I mean. At least you could take that with you're something ever happened to meet, you know what I mean, or whatever, like yo, But we gotta start thinking like like that, you know what I mean, because you swear and for you to give us this right here be it's like y'all give us you know what I mean, word is born, all praises is due. It's like, yo, man, it's like this gave

us flowers me, you know what I mean. Just to sit here like that with my brother and we talking to building, you know what I mean. And for y'all let me just let me just say something, bro, because we family. But again that doesn't take away from my fan and what y'all did to the game. But y'all brought what'll continue to do what you mean to the game.

All we can do is can to you to salute y'all continue to respect y'all, continue to show y'all how much you mean to this game, how much you mean to this this generation, how much you mean to the public. Would they say, whooped tang us forever? And it's true, man, it's true. Man. So I just want to tell y'all face to face, man and man, and I think got this is at the law on his bottles. That's how you know he's a different nigga. I never see the law on any liquor anyway. Come on, come on, come on,

super shure this this niggers know me. It's being goes right hand. This is goes golden right hand. It's like gold part of that. Come second, what's going on on? How are you going right? So I would understand that understands for understanding true. Third degree to the math matters. Now I'm supposed to understanding. That's right. So don't tell us, tell us, tell us, tell us. How proud of you all? These two brothers, I don't know. I'm sure you see,

Oh yeah, for sure. You know what. The many decades when I was up in the camp watching my brothers grow, I was happy for all of them. Very goals math on TV. I used to being the representating like that. Right, there's my people's man, you know, because I felt like once they made I felt like I made it because you come from the same claude, and I see you got the wave caps too, you wave your waves to spending. Thank you. Yeah, you know one of your people's too,

talking about light and part of that revolution. And when all that ship was going on in the in the prisons, and like you said, niggas was being parents. Yeah, and he was around the time, you know. Yeah, well it was a dude from around your way and there shot yeah, yeah, yeah the glasses and yeah yeah right here in the hospital right now. Man ain't fighting for his life right now. Yeah yeah, pick up shot make wherever you are. You know, I love you. Man shot out. Yeah the glasses. You

hit it right on the nose. So yeah, he in the hospital right now. You please, please, you know you don't get well, get back to it. Man, listen, let me just ahead, let's cut you off. Yea. They gave me that that that shorty five I told you for for a chroma body that he never even go he had to do that. But he's he's in the books now. It's being like the first man. For like, actual instance, I truyn, like nobody don't five didnated. Yeah, what's the

different between exonerate the innocence. Well, let me just explain it to you, right, So when you get you can either get it in an interest of justice like they probably got at the Central Park, you know, draggers, and you can get it under actual innocence. The reason why they don't like to give it under actual innocence is because everything that you advocate within your emotions and you submit into the court, it's facts. There's no argument. They

really can't oppose it. So that makes your civil suit strong. Oh yeah, sure, that's that's the lawsuit is strong. Yeah, because now they're saying that they know you didn't do it. It's an actual innocence that you didn't do this crime. However, when they give it to you with an interest of justice, they're not saying you innocent. They three that you didn't do the crime, but there's a possibility that you could have played a part in your own incarceration or whatever.

So now they have legs to stand on when they go in civil court, know what I'm saying, Because they're not really oppolsed and they still want you do have to still go on civil court and prove your innocence all over like O J. O J. Beny criminally and funked up, similarly sucked up. Similar happens about time. I believe O J innocent. I don't know why he's laughing. Remem Old J. This whole time. I never switch sides. I had drinks Old J. Yeah, and some wings. He

and the killer, I know, accident killers. I said, it was like murder you. He's like he's playing games. It was I'm sorry, yeah, listen now, I just like to spread my story, you know, because what happened to me, what's the injustice that should never happened to actual crime was a Custer murder, murder the second degree. I was employed the Wolf Tang at the time. You know, we all started, and that played the fact that my conservation

rather and my conviction. They was trying me and they was ad on you because he was affiliated to because that's you know, you know, you know you're gonna see it all on the documentary. But it played the factor to where asked the guy that whoever he was that committed the crime, dropped the baseball cap and had to w on it and I was a toys there trying to make you know, I don't know everybody know that.

So that happen is being sold all over though, because you had the wool where you remember back to North the people, so everybody was buying these cops, so you know, so they made a big thing. I only worked. They used exhibit A and use my records and they used documentations at the same time the kid died and st onland. Yeah it was murder. It's bird from the police. No no, no, no, no, no no yeah, because it wasn't no, no, this is

twenty five years ago. Just at the same time. Now I was locking up on le talking about Eric Gardener. Wasn't there another kid kid spot Yeah case case case that I don't no, that was maybe like when came out. Yeah right, yeah, that was the dead case was before kids before his case was like okay, and you do have a laws on y's okay, yeah, bro, how's the lawsuit looking that? No problem, you know, but but you need your justice oh yeah yeah yeah yeah. But listen right,

I don't care how much money they give me. I get my thirdy, you know, I get my therapy boy sitting here speaking about what happened to me. That show I get to feel better about myself and you know I could deal with it. I spoke to a therapist on the phone. It's guy, I'm listening now, listen. I'm telling When I went to college, I educated myself. I helped you know, my LAYD with a lot of emotions

on getting that person. I learned the LAWD. So when I'm speaking to a stranger and you know he's a therapist, he went to school for it, I and I feel he's psycho analyzing me. I started to psycho analyze him, you know, like, well, you know what makes you think you could? You know, So now we're going like that. So I said, he's useless, you see, because he fell into my trap. So he's useless. So I get more than that. People are sitting there speaking to the world

tunnel what happened to me? I'm doing? How much of money I got. I'm never gonna stop advocating that. Just want you to know it too, Yeah, I want you to know yo, you know what I mean. This man was on the Purple Tape too. You know, he was a part of that movement, and you know, cheering me on and goes like he's seen the collaboration. He's seen Paul killing Stapleton. Here Stapleton naked, you know what I mean. He was like, Yo, that funk with that Hill naked man, y'all.

You know, we had that relationship for a long time. So it's like when the glory came, it's so crazy, no, because when the glory came, goost lourst his man to the system, and I lost my man to the system, you know what I'm saying. So even I'm talking about everything that we rhyme about, we talk about it, we laugh about, joke about, and cry about and all that. It comes from being with the niggas that you went you know what I'm saying, the niggas that you hang with.

So it's like it was a deep depression, but it was still a success. It was like why we was missing them niggas and talking about them in records, It's like they was up there getting strength from just knowing that we we didn't we cared about. We were thinking about the lad get them niggas strip and it worked off the yard the strong and and it worked, you know what I mean. You see how I go there, We're wishing my nigga. Yeah, he's like, Yo, we in because you did so. It's like the loyalty, the the

you know that's important to us. Man, if we're nigga to go away for so long for something he didn't do. And then, like I said, you know this being a man, I don't know too many niggas that take Krey man for twenty five years, twenty three years and make sure I see let's see that. That's that's the solid shop everything I know name understanding his light skin. I'm talking with you, I'm thinking for my whole name understanding his lights because the mother bocuse that's why you just sucking

me up. Yeah, but listen, man, Yo, thank you for sharing your story. My brother. Um they said it earlier. I didn't realize how deep it was until you sat here in front of us. And I appreciate that. I appreciate You're going to really appreciate your honesty. I appreciate Um. You're just being a part of what we salute it right now because we're saluting we're saluting Ray, were saluting Ghost and for that to be a part of the story, that's phenomenal. Man. So I want to salute you as

a as a brother. I don't see if you've got anything more else to do. I think we're gonna take some pictures, and we want stures with you too as well. We'll take some drops and then and then I said, man, Bo, you know what great you know Gray? This is your third time on here, this is your first time on here goes. But I want you to know something. I want all of y'all to know something. Me and I f N did not know what the funk we were doing. We just realized it was an outlet open Dad. It

didn't have no outlet for veterans. They didn't have no outlet for people who put it in the time. They didn't have no outlet. What is that's called for people? What they see our dates, people, that's already they have no outlet for that. So that's what we wanted to do. But what we wanted to do was big up people who deserve it, big up people whose legends, Big up

people because a lot of people don't understand. If you're a construction worker, if you're work at McDonald's, she's working in the doctor's office, you could take that ship off and you regularly you can never be regular. It's not one day of your life you could be regular. You go to Hallmark, I don't even think it's a Hallmark open still, but you go to Hallmark and get a car. They're going, good night, We're gonna be on the stamps. One. You go to Radio Shock the ball, I know, radio

shocking open. I'm saying this on purpose. You're listening, But the key thing is it's not over. It's not you know what I'm saying. I always start back in the days that when you get to a certain level of success, niggas forget you. But then I realized that the only way they forget you is if you allow your stuff

to be forgotten. You see what I'm saying. We twenty seven eight joints and niggas is still getting money, still looking young, still networking and carrying in a humble way because, like I said, you gotta be humble today to you know, to adapt the ship like unsaid, he said, the really ship, like, we don't do this for money. You do it for money, but we don't do it for him. You know what I mean. It's just yeah, it's like that's gonna always be there. But when you got solid niggas. It's like

in the game, we still gotta be solid. Don't let it, don't let it change the dynamics of who you really are because you're thinking you're hide in it. But niggas can see it. Niggas canna see it, you know what I'm saying. So you know, I salute y'all just for creating. Like you said, creating sold that you felt like, Yo, we gotta pay hamas and the niggas that did it because the niggas, you know what I mean, they need something to the game. See. I remember y'all have a

conversation about forming a um A union. Were still with it. You feel me, We're still right here is the type of ship I think about, and I want to be a part of that because it's only right, you know what I mean. At some point, it's like, we're making so much money in the business, but how much are we really invested into ourselves to make it better for the next hundred years? And just think about this. Have you ever acted a movie? You acted in the movie right, yeah,

you acted in the movie Befoul. You acted in the movie before. That's the real Anybody who ever acted in the movie do you understand that they make you pay a union feed. You don't even know that. You don't even know it, like it's just a part because it's just say, let's just say they're giving you, just greeving you a ballpark Numberlet's say they give you four hundred, ten, ten th dollars. It's going to what they call SAG. SAG is taking that until our actors union, screen actors guilt,

screen actors guilt. They're figured that in the union. So now that ten thousands might feed ten in families, that's only getting paid a hundred dollars whatever, whatever. Right, But what if we did that? What if we said, all right, cool, every five shows, we're making this, this and that, let's take fifteen grand and let's put that to Brianna tell us family. Let's take that ten thousand, Let's put that

towards George Floyd, Let's put that towards whatever. Whatever. You don't think we can do that, Or let's build, let's build more recreational areas, you know what I mean, Let's do things and let's take care of cool. You know what I mean, Let's take care of everybody, like, yeah, take care, Let's take care of like sometimes and co works. My man. Sometimes we look at co work and I'm like, fantastic, and it's something I'm like, wait a minute, let's let's

let's give him the help that he's not asking for. Yeah, he shouldn't ask who herd is? The Bill Russell and rap Man, every single one of those architects and you know what I mean, everything that they get from the coach right right, And I feel like we should do that, But it's like, like you said, it's like it's like brother, pay, there's no freedom room, money there fault, so you gotta

do it. Go fund me, you know. It's like, yo, you're supposed to be you know, I don't give a funk if you're getting seven hund hours a month, if you've been here over twenty years or something like that, over five five, it's like it's like veterman. But it's still like, you know, it's just like what I said, like, do you know, dud, dud? Do you know how home coverage? You know how harder this to walk to McDonald's as

a as as as a famous nigger. I guess imagine how hard it is to work to McDonald's as a famous nigger, that didn't make it, like a nigga that's that that got the read lagger, spend a million on you. Everyone knows who you are. You just don't make it. But you a't being walking and mcdownd niggas like Nick like you ever be in the bullpen like people like what you're doing it here? Like like what you like, nigga? Why you think I'm in here because I got I

need this seven under seven dollar meal too. It's real ship. But if you put put it in at work, I feel like you should be taking care of I feel like when it comes to the hospitals part of the flowers man, that's you know, you know, the only sport that don't take care of you was boxing. It's rappers, Bluto was boxing, Baseball hasn't. Yeah, I have something to take care of you. And football, football, the most brutal sporting fucking world beside boxing, has something to take care

of you. Basketball and do something to take it, you know, a rap car us. If if I fall off and you won't answer your phone, I'm funked up. That can't be right, man, right, that can't be drug dealer's got a better union. They just sit around and say you're listening to stack up for your lawyer, stack up for your bond. That's somebotter union in hip hop, like drunk dinas sit together and say, you're listen, you gotta hire

Bob Kleiner. Bob Clean is gonna be a hundred fifty So you put a hundred fifty thousands together for a lawyer that he's not from your community, he's not from your your nothing. But we save that hip hop. We don't save ship. We sit around and say she didn't watch, she didn't the new Richard merely looked good. Yeah, I went to fall right though, right needs to think about that just sometime, think about Let just just just think about it. Um. And so every show show we take

thousand thousand dollars. Not it's a billion doledge. Right. Then Mellie Mel gets sick. It's like a trust fund. You golf of bid, this never happens. Golf of bid, that's never happened. But Mellie Mel gets sick. Ray called me, I called Ray, I called ghost, ghost called ef ef and call understanding. You all say let's do something for me, nah, but see the east do something to say something already, let me say something. The easy thing is, it's already

in the system. It's got to be a system already, and it can't be nobody calling nobody man and everybody's a man and he has it all. You gotta be a part of the system automatically. Let golf face he's face right here. That's said. It's all he said. He said, my son is giving me a hard or kidney, whatever it was. And I sat there and I was like, great, beautiful, But scar Face made too many almost for his son to be the victor. This should have been somebody out there.

God bless me. I understand that. You understand what I'm trying to say, Like scar Face made Mary Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary, and Mary. Somebody out said, Scarf here, take much here, give me your kidney. And it's supposed to be a union that funds the snicker right, excuse me that finds this person says you're ready to give Scarfish your kidney. Yeah, he signed this wager. He goes your pop. Let's go

save Scarface. That's what I felt, so as much as I was honored that his son stabbed here and his son said, Yo, I'm giving my pops this kidney, and he said, for all the sun, that's beautiful, that's automatic. Let's be up, not one million percent. But scar Face gave too much for this community. For for his son. There's not even really part of the community to have to come in. It should have been some dude named Joe Corey but from Nashville that's said, get a boys,

changed my life and take my ship. She cut his own kitty out here, y'all, that's what I thought. I'm sorry, I would let's go, let's go for that's that's just what so I want to set up that union. Shut it up, bro. Actually, the first time I actually kind of got through to anybody was yesterday when I supposed to Kanye West and I and I said that ship, and he was like, what are you talking about it? I just said, because fun me, let's think about us. One of the best things Puppy said to me one day,

he's trying to get us a sign. He said, because I'm cool for me to we And I said, that's hard me the week taking that fuck Melet just think about we mm hmm picked them m put it upside down. It becomes a week we yep. If we start thinking about we, we don't ever have to think about me again.

M hm, you know what I mean. Lives you saved by doing all that, you know what I mean, I'll be thinking that's just should come through like an acide check or something saying like yo, every fucking money, yeah exactly. Didn't like finding the month some things get three a hundred a month, you know what I mean, or whatever the chase it may be because this show ship, like you said, send me twenty years, so now you might get one of these new niggas that's funked up in

the game. But we didn't do nothing to a stop that. From these names, they could be a chance, you know what I mean. They stept to the game like you know what I mean. Yeah, that's right. Though we're still going to start the union. We're still gonna do it. And the thing about it is, um, I don't want to be in charge of the funds. I want to donate the funds, but I want a David Banner to step off, like I want somebody that retrust, like I

want fer to step off. And they're like, yo, we gotta do it like how they do it, like the government do it, you know what I mean, the same way like ships transparent, That count is transparent every time. Yeah, I like that. That's just ship there, bro, Like, let yo up. He passed away. Everybody proved that ship Yo, let it go improve, you know what I mean. That's that's that's that's exactly what I told it. Yeah, you

got to be a commission for it. Yeah, like tomorrow, I don't want to wish it on nobody, but small somebody something having to somebody if we sit down, God bless, I'm just giving it that. But it's the first name that came about what happened. You never Curtis Blow, especially having to Kirk Kirk works, and now Curtis Blow sitting in the hospital saying thank you. Hip hop took him my life. Yeah, he don't need go. He on need right, he'll need Nori, he'll need IF, and he don't need Understand.

He don't need miss to lead. He'll need r roster. He need hip hop because hip hop is the old two ultimate nationality. We're not really black, we don't really white me up really liked you know, we hip hop? And if hip hop is that, how many more fucker's around me right now in the industry? Too many motherfuckers like how many do you think million? Two millions? I think two point five mini MILLI And I'm sorry, I just motherfucker's you think is on right now? Like that's

that's who's on. It's a hundred thousand at two point five man, just like yo, yeah, what's s point five million? Like we're they want to get into the to the union, you know what I mean, they gotta pay. They got It's like, you gotta wait, motherfucking pay the dollart me fucking money. That's a dollar you got two point five montherfuckers there like that. You know you gotta do what I'm saying. It's educational campaign. You gotta education. You just say,

that's good for you. And point five a month a dollart me fucking month. How much that go out to? It's a lot swell months, Yeah, swell months. That's a lot of bread. And let me and let me just tell your something goes. Here's a crazy ship. As I spoke to all the higher ups, like Black hire ups, Hit Pope hire ups, they all would it. They just don't want to leave it because that's all they don't want to. Like I spoke to J and I'm like, it's like come on, look at me looking at um.

I can't Green. That's that's my man, such a great guy. I'm so sorry to use you as example. Hockey and I just looked at your face. But this motherfucker represented for the cannabis culture represent not doing a smart man is There's no way I kid green Ship have anything to ever come in his life, right, and him have to go to his family, right, that's not his family.

He dedicated his life to this fan. M you dedicated in your life to this fan, like the only like I said, the only two blessed dead five life, you know what I mean, Like if you didn't, like, could have been prevented, right if you like, Like I remember, I was sitting there one time before he got his kidney, you know what I mean. He was a diabetic. She hadn't funked up. But then I heard his girl gave me, gave you it was a diabetter. And then I heard his girl gave him, you know what I mean, hug

kidney and he like that. But I don't know what happened after that, like the Kiddy family or whatever whatever the case may be. But it was like yo, looking for the kidneys and and things like you said the money is did yo? You know much a hot Courtrey seventy maybe you know what I mean, something like that Knight Court somewhere around the ship. But yo, listen that it's south there, it's south there. It's real talk, you know what I mean. But I got you real talk

because because I wanted. I want to know that. Yeah, that's what my heart is like. Because I kept continuing in progress and I was like, you know what what if I'm okay? Me being okay is not enough. My wife being okay is not no, my kids being okay is not enough. I didn't sack him. I didn't come home when Thanksgiving because of this coaching. I didn't come home with Christmas. You know what I mean? Christmas as I missed because I had to go out and perform

and seek my fucking asks. You what what what? What? Who? Boy can do that I'm missed? And me Holiday? It was because I was hot. I had advantage of co Chris Lightning. I said you might not be hot next year. Taking everything, so every little chroblem with the table, I smoked it, ate it. I did it for years later, I'm like, damn, did I only think about me, you know how you feel like there was people who came

out the same time with me as less fortunate. I'm sorry, I'm long with it, but I just want to just be clear because I really sincerely believe in us taking care of us like we That's why I really loved what Kanye was saying. And he did say some crazy ship. Let's just be clear. But when he said, let's start on the stop, let's start owning the whole communities with our community. So let's suppose ghost Face has a community, you can actually kick motherfucker's out who they obliged with

your ship. So the person to say, man, I don't fun with Green, well, you can't leave his face community. Just get the funk out of here. It's legal. I'm sorry, I'm fucking thinking yea, yes, because he got he got me fucked up. But what all I'm saying is we should take care of us. You know, I remember seeing Papa Woo, remember coming out of so Be Live and Be just coming out of me seeing Papa woof just

standing there talking to the young girls. You hike, but I immediately had to take him Papa Wole immediately because of y'all. Soon as I up pieces of gold. You understand, God bless rest in pieces. But that was my first time actually thinking about that. That's that's reparations, reparations, reparations, reparations. Like you understand, how hard of this have your job? How harder this to have your job? You can't go nowhere, Bro, nigga's gonna play your right whom space golf, These golf

your supreme crime test I am. I'm gonna start asking you questions. You're what your mom's You're what your lady? You what your daughter? You're with your son? You can't tell these niggas fuck off. He's telling you number seven is ill. You don't even remember number seven. You're sitting there like I remember number seven. You know you don't know what number seven is, right, You're sitting there just

it's a hard job. Thank y'all for joining us, dropping the reat of them, salute just a picture, dropping the red of Thanks for joining us for another episode of Drink Champs hosted by Yours Truly, d J E, F N and n O R E. Please make sure to follow us on all our socials. Let's add Drink Champs
