And your number one sort for drunk drink every day is New Year's z Drinking Champs. Drink Up? Would it goold be? Hopefully you would to super This
is your boy in O R? What up is d j e FN And it's still militating crazy world podcast. Drink Champs, Your motherfucker yap yaur make some And right now, when we're talking about a legend, when we talk about ball lord, a ball warrior, when we talk about a person that went to war for his whole team, went to went against the whole other team with that on his back. At this time or from from his state,
all we heard was Will Smith. We didn't hear of all that he came and he changed the trajectory that in Junior Mafia, I'm talk about the real dream of my field. Um Uh, this guy has countless repeated hits, repeated classic records, repeated classic albums, has still the test of time and it's still here. We've been waiting to get him on dream Chat for five years. Since day one, we've been kind of get him so he for some reason he wouldn't come out. But then, you know what,
I had to tell him, come outside. He's been outside ever since, and that it's a beautiful thing because he understood what I meant by that, And you know what you know, Um, with everything that's going on with you know legends, now's the time for the legends. You know what I'm saying. In any other genre and any other music, they have the uh, they don't have a word called washed up or have a word called bend over. Hip Hop is the only genre of music that deals to
even have this terminology. And I want to change that trajectory. I want to change that concept. I want to change that perspective because when you got these years in the game, you are seasoned. Use a motherfucking legend. The person that's sitting behind me is I'm sitting to the left of me as a motherfucking legend, and it's about time that
he gets his motherfucking flowers on motherfucking drink chest. Even if in the case you don't know what the funk we're talking about, we're talking about be motherfucker's see cross, then you definitely need your flowers. Man. Um you know, um, you know, just going through your discography obviously because two reasons, you know, one because um, we're doing this interview and the other because I want to smash you later. This
is no, but no, no, I'm that serious. No, because this is about giving your flowers on some real ship. You know, you are really like you really like one of them scarface type of guys. Like, like, what I mean by that is you don't drop an album unless the whole album is entirety. How do you come up with something like that? I don't know. I just it's a feeling you are feeling. You know, all my music comes from and here, so it's crazy because it's funny.
You I really think, you know, the only out of my albums that I did, it was the only one album that I really felt is though, that I really completed you know, Yeah, yeah that I really I was. I was, I was I was saying I was happy with and that was the becoming really yeah, so not the truth, not no reason or the be coming, but the be Coming always kind of reminded me of like your album to State Property too. Yeah, no, no, no, no no, because of that, that's crinture was from the
State Property too. Yeah, movie though, right, okay, okay, get the album covering. Yeah, but when I was doing it becoming R had a lot of legal issues. Yeah, so you know, I was on h I was on House and Rusts on prea trout. You know, I had attempted murdering the state and I had a federal gun charge, so uh yeah, I was. I was. I was on House and Rush for pre trout for I think about, and I was using much to becoming. Okay, cool, that's the one you said you feel like you didn't plea Yeah,
ok yeah, I'll tell you. I'll tell you a funny story. Know if you remember this, I'm sure you do. But at one point Dame Dash got everyone to come to you. I don't know if it was your trial over, it was a court date, and I'm talking about everyone went run up, Like I guess he will provide vans or you know, service and we will all go up there and we will go to your court. And then one day after the court. This is like some real this
is this is some real, real Needo Brown ship. We went to your house and then your house you had a goddamn alligator. You had an alligator walking like you know how Needo Brown didn't do the Tech City with
the dog. And I'm sitting around the beast smoking around us as I swear to God with a little alligator and the alligator just a big, big face cat, and I'm thinking like, because you know, they're saying it's a baby alligator, so you're thinking like, okay, anything baby is leaking and I'm like oh, and then they were just chilling. So I had to act like this was normal. Listen, I've never seen like this in my last what the what the hell? Like, this is some real Nino Brown ship.
What the what made you get an alligator to my brother just because I could get it? Yeah, that's what something just your Tiger King Joe exotic ship right there. Yeah remember that night, Yeah that was right before we went in. We was all in. Yeah, so um yeah, so yeah you want to speak about the uh that it was crazy? Who else was there? You remember this was your house, right, yeah, it was. It was at the crib. It was right before I uh at the term myself in do the year in the day, we
was all in there. I think I did two records that night too. We was in there and yeah, I remember you being there. Yeah that was from Huck got Trunker to me from the bathroom because they you know, alligated only get this big, this this environment. So I had to the fish tank and it was it was a little but it was good. And I told him they see me handling it, but I handled Yeah, they're facts. So I told him like, yo, don't play with it. He like, Yo, this a little bit more. Ain't gonna
I said, all right, go ahead pick it up. And I'm like when you grabbed him, you got to make sure you grab behind the net thing like so he won't swing back. And you know we this was the the day before going so Mari we were drinking and that anything. We're like, we had to afford it. They were, so we is in there. H I think guy was playing around with the gator. He keeps sticking his face on the tank. I'm like, yo, don't do that. Like I ain't feed him in like a week. So I'm
like me, like, Ali ain't playing with that. They keep messing with the tank. I said, all right, So I told him go ahead, pick it up. So he got the gator. He prod my grabbing bond. So when he snapped on a guary, so all muscle again. So he's like, oh, Ship, he couldn't handle it, so he like trying to get it to him. I'm like, nah, because I usually keep you know, I usually keep the runner bass on his mouth. So he thought it was funny, you know, Gary bleeding and ship. So so I just let him go on
the floor. I just let him run around. So to was like, man, he wasn't scared of the gator and all that. He tried to grab him, and when he tried to grab him and around, the snap on him. So when the snaped on he he fell. Now the alligator chasing him. So it was like the bath from me scooting back and try to lock itself in the bathroom. It was, it was, it was, It was crazy. I
remember that night. No, No, let me ask you something because immediately when you google you right, yeah, these movies come up and in these compilations, Uh, what was that was that was your idea from the beginning was like, yo, let me get myself on because like I think, we had other people who stay property and they said that that Rocketfeller made y'all group. Is that because we've never got we got everyone else's story. We didn't get it
from the motherfucker's horse's mouth. Well, to be honest, how we came together, we was all I think I was the only one signed the Rocket Feller ropers and uh at the time, you know I was doing again like I was. It was just it was a litt I didn't look at it as like a career. And so I had got I met Free probably a week or two weeks before I got signed the Rocket Feller on the streets. On the street. On the street, I met Free and he just was like dope and ship. We
got an ill story. Uh you know on my corner seagull. It wasn't cool to be a rapper, so I had to sneak and you know what I mean, like spit raps both both er. Yeah, you was whacked, like, okay, we was. And that's because of the gates all because of the musselm No, it was just it was the block we was We was doing us, you know what I mean. So I'm trying to beat not see wrong. I get you with you with you should be statue. We was doing us, you know what I mean. We
was grind soon touching my brother, my brother. My guy used to be like, man, yeah, what's up with pet? He was good. He's good, He's good, he good, he got he got trucking company doing this lord doing this thing. Yeah, he's good. So he was wrong with that shie. Man, I'm not trying to hear that rap ship. They're gonna back with that dumbass book. Did he get out there? We we get money, so I'm trying to pull all my almost like you're risking to this list. They're like, man,
we're getting this money. So my man Pocket was like, Yo, you got Poco, Pocoka no word black nicknames po Poco makes a noise of black nicko down. Okay, Yeah that week we well it's we're calling Poco because everybody named Pocka. Okay, That's how it was on the block. So you couldn't see no body name you would be Poka. Yeah, that would be Poco Poco. We got rolled Pocket, So you know the names won't uh flowing. He just kept pushing me like so we used to be hustling in the spot.
We grave yard shifting it. Man spade with me. Please, we gotta do it. We gotta do it, and Devil's av we gotta do it. Okay, continuous story, continue the story, my brother again, is this part of my case? Kidd want you to remember your story? But beans, like I said, man, this show giving people their flowers, and then I really wanted to give your flowers even more than I want to bout you. I want to give your flowers because you know why, You're a part of my generation. You're
part of the real that's left. And you know what, if we are here doing things, you should be out here doing things. So I told you to come out, and you came outside, got coot. But what you say, continue that? Continue So and used to be in the crimp time doing this ship. I might have been like, uh maybe nineteen when I first started, uh you know,
really taking this serially but not taking this serial. Uh yeah, late nineties man, nine probably like nineties seven, like nine seven what I got signed at nine eight, So I'm gonna say between nine six and nine seven. So you got signed pretty quickly when you started. Yeah, yeah, that's that's that's the years though, nine six and nine seven, So that's that's not that's my years because well I came out of jail not six, but nine seven is
when the war report actually dropped, so not seven. Yeah I'm not six, not seven like you Damn that's crazy. Good Okay. So we used to sit in the spot like we had our thing every night. We grave our ships from when the when the crack house, when the crackhouse. We we have what called the trap house. Let's crack house the day the trap house. Yeah, it sounds like you want you trying to get caught, trying to get caught.
You want to go with we're being the spot and our night we'll ordered uh we's you know, are running Chinese store because we're gonna be up all night. We used to get like twenty ways five rice five six pep season because we're gonna be up all night. Get our backwards are are weed Pako used to roll all the weed up. That's when you used to be eating the pack. Now they robbing us back with the backwards
and they used to be eating the packs. So we'll roll up and we had a little radio in the in in in the spot, so where he he was damn Lo mixed tastes. Was that, uh Ryan J Ryan G mixed tapes. We used to listen to them joints every night. That was our our thing. So I'd be sitting there and I'd be writing ship and Pocua. Every week he riding in New York to go find the new mix six to bring him back down. That was I think every week. So we had this little ass
radio and we used to sit there all night. So we used to run now instrumentals, so we used to turn the base up all the way on the little radio and turn the trouble all the way down and take out the vocals to take out the muffler. Yeah that's like I'm god. Yeah, So we used to So that was that was our Yeah, And I used to wrap wrapper for other people's ship, like anything that was hot at the time. Like That's how I started writing like there and he killed that. All right, I'm about
to write to that. I gotta gotta top that. So when you guys went to see Jay and damon him um in New York words, the other guys were stayed property already there, you know. Okay, well nobody was there, but how do you even get to that point? How do you get to them? Wanted to see you and me? All right? So uh it was it was a guy from my herd named murder Mill. Artists who artists artists murder Mill. He wound up being signed the violated on
the Christie. So me and murder Mill had battle when somebody I knew, uh Ryan, he knew that I knew how to wrap, and he was like, Yo, it was this kid, Ryan. It's named murder Mill. He nice. So you know, I'm going a loa with it, but I'm running through everything in Philly like smashing it. So when I met murder Mill, battling battle. So I go around there to meet murder Mill and we wind up battle one. So he was the first person that I ever had to think twice like damn. I asked my man Poco.
I said, you know, I think that Nigga might have got me yo. And this is this is this is lyrical car back, no beat, no beat, no street. This is the only year. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're going right right, We're going we out there before DVD ye, before all that ship. So we both leave and you know, nobody would say, like who won. They was like, no, they got. It was like it was like nobody was saying but me. I felt. I'm like, damn, I'm us run through people. So I'm like, yo, you think this
dude got me? He was like, yo, he nice. So when you didn't ask the questions just say, I'm like, damn, that's when you start taking this serious. You don't want to lose, don't want that was that was something to come outside, like that oh ship. So I started digging then right and ship and then on the flip side, I got I wrote about ten. I ain't not account bars none of that ship. So I got like ten raps.
I'm like, yo, we're going back around, and we're going back around and we're going for the money to the battle almost the name again. Yeah, murder Mill. On the flip side, murder Mill was thinking I was thinking. When I met up with him, he was like, yo, you nice. He was like you the only nigger that I felt got me. So I'm like, damn this nigga. Yeah, we both felt the same way, and it was just like we messed and it was on in popping so He called me one day and was like, Yo, it's these
kids from Southwest. These boys they talking crazy hens like I ain't gonna lie. They nice stuff, but they're talking about they want to battlem okay, and that's Philly's most wanted. Okay, most wanted. It's not that's not Gilly and them. That's the other dude that ball ball had just like Gilly, right, Yeah, Bubani didn't do yeah, okay, it was was a part of them too. No, that's part of major. Yeah. So uh, we go to battle. Uh most wanted. So we supposed
a battle for some money. So we take the money up there. We go up there. But at the time, I think they management was managing them. At the time, I believe they was in King Koon and they was with Jake. They was had a meeting with Jay, so most waters management. Yeah. So we wound up battle and in the crow we I don't even I wouldn't need to call a bout. We just started going in and Bubani was crazy with it. But my man murder Mill,
he had a he had a thing about them. So when we wrapped and it was over, you know what I mean, he pulled me to the sign way exchanged numbers. I'm like, yo, you hot. So he told me. He was like, yo, we at the meeting with Rocket Feller. I mean they had deals on the table like black and white and Rocket Feller is the only way to being Rocket Feller this year. Yeah, but they really got meek maybe a mail at this time, or do they
even got the mail they got the couldn't know. I think it was just it was just me and Bleak when it's just Bleak at the time, and I think when I got there was Bleak and it was a group called the Rangers. The Rangers, yeah at the time. So when men Bux changed numbers and he was like, yo, you hot. But still at this time, I'm not taking rap like serious. It was just something that I knew I could do. Like I wasn't trying to be a
rapping He's showing me contracts. I mean they was at yeah this they kind they have offers from like four different labels. So he was like, yo, we said, pullosed to go up there and go to Rocket fell of Rockets To me and Jay, he was like, yo, you should take this ride with us something like all right, yeah, I take the rock were exchanged numbers so the day that they was going to uh go to Rocket Fellow Rockets,
murder Mill had a dog named Mikey grand Chat. Okay, I'm about to say Mikey seemed like a legend ard. Mikey was killing ship. Mikey was biting so hard he biked the dog. When the blood come out hit the ground, it's blue, then it turned red. That's how hard quickly. Yeah, that's how it was. Bike. So I just, you know, got something from my foods, and you know, I'm like, this is a short shot. I'm trying to go back this money on Mikey the dog. The dog, I'm not
even trying to do Yeah, I'm like yeah. So a car was like, yo, come up, come up. I'm like, all right, I'm gonna come up. But I'm trying to duck him. I ain't trying to go there. I'm trying to go to the Stark fight. But like, I'm trying to back to my short shot. It's a short shot. It's a short You're going to New York and the New York Throude signing you come on, man, that's probably like nineties. Are you saying it's just for the rod? Ye oh, that's right, it's not my meeting. That's why
they would even invite you though. Yeah, yeah, that's why. That's that's why. You know, God work work. So it's like so when Boban he offered it, he was like, Yo, come with me. I'm like, all right, I'm gonna come. You know this part cutting you off, you know the crazy ship is That's how I got one too. It was Compole's deal and then he bought me. And that's where the cars. Yeah, I even know this get to you so long story shot. I trying to duck him.
I'm trying to get out the trip. They're sitting down and say it's waiting. I'm like, oh fuck, they outside the crib. So I gotta take the ride. And I remember one interview. I remember saying that, uh, they was all at Bubonic. Wasn't there? Bubonic wasn't there? Was It was Mr part of the group and it was nice. So we go up there. It was some other dudes that was in the studio at this time. Jay was recording. Uh it was all good. A week ago. We're too short.
They was in the studio. I think I saw this story. You said you want to be too short? A much more than you want to meet Jay at the time. Yeah, at the time, too short game. I mean, come on, Jay was my man. He was more my brother was I was Biggie Dout my brother. Yeah, he was jay Out like that's he wasn't had nothing else but jay Z whenever reasonable doubt drop like for yeah, he didn't
playing nothing but that. So when I come in him, like you know, I get to meet the rippers, I'm not a rapper at the time, so too short in there. He got two bitches with it. He got no reason, no, no, no, he was cool. I think he had on like he hadn't like this creaming like burgundy pitch striped suit with the with the burgundy gators. Yeah, the goold preside all bust down with the burgundy face and he just want some chill ship and he got the two bitches. I'm like, damn,
that's too short. And that's New York. Yeah, New York, New York, in the New York living like here New York nigger. He's not. So I'm not, yo. This ship too short, like all the music all that ship, like, oh ship that ship. So I'm typing my man, I'm like, yo, that's too short. So there was some guys in there. They was wrapping, uh, most one they was. They was going back and forth, back and forth, and it was about the end of the joint. They was like, all right,
it was the end of the ship. So one of the other guys they said that they ja was like, that's it. And one of the guys uh started rapping again. Then he said like he said some Philly some some line about some Philly ship. One of the other rappers that was in there. So I'm sick. Yeah. So at the time I'm in the back, I'm just smoking and I'm just what was he from Delaware? US all, like, you know, he's f New York, from New York, from
New York. He had turned into like the New York Philly thing with them, and moo, I'm always be wanting to turn into a New York Philly thing. It's not a New York Philly thing, y'all. I gotta relax. So they so they started going back and full so me, you know, into the New York I was, you know,
he said some ship about Philly. T suis. So I'm the whole time, I'm like, but this day's ship I'm just here and you you want to tell more the guy's name, most wanted, the most one, you want to tell the Okay, you want to tell them to fall black. Now it's your turn. No, I'm sitting there and I'm thinking, and I'm like he's holding back and I'm holding back like Bondick was head, this ship would have got different
because he's bonding. He's different. So I'm sitting I'm antsy and I'm like, it's nigger than than than saying some slick ship. So when Ja was like that's sick, and he said it again, Doug, Yeah, I got something, so he looking you know what I mean. I stepped at be like. So they management was like, yo, that's who is talking about. So I'm like okay. So they're not like like yo, Homie saying your placed ain't on that type of ship. They're okay homie stepping up, step up. Okay.
I'm like, no, I got something. So Jay was like who the fund is that? Like who is this? Because he knew he was there for you know, most one thing, and he like the fun is that? So they managed me was like uh said, he was like yo, this kid, I was telling you about so imbody you was telling him about. So I'm sitting in the back mind you you know, back to jail ground. I'm not. I'm from South Philly. They most one of them, they from Southwest from one and they management and all the day from
North Philly. So I'm the only South Philly negative. So it's jil we super geographical. Got beef North Philly at the time. No, it's just that South Philly is hard put like this. If you compare Philly to New York. Uh, West Philly would be like West, I said of West South or up Town. That's all. Uh, South Philly is like Brooklyn. Okay, all right, yeah, it's it's the Brooklyn of Yeah, let's keep get Yeah, Okay to y'all, I speak her language. Okay. So Jay, like, who the fund
is this? So I stepped up when I started rapping, and it was looking like I stepped straight to the balls like winning and dan No, I don't know if one of them had him are bottled and I winning again on it. It just was the elephant in the room. After that, I'm gonna ask you something, and you you you you tell me if I'm corrected by when I first came into the game. When I first started rapping, I didn't know how to exaggerate. I didn't know that
other rappers were making up ship and they wraps. So a person has to tell me relax, like, you can't be putting all that ship. Did you go through that? Because I listened to your early ship, I feel like, damn you, you went through the same ship. Yeah, I thought. I thought. I thought you're supposed to write everything that you went through. I didn't know that. At some point you get you're supposed to still do that, right, I
think you're supposed to still do that. You know, at least if if you ain't going through it, at least you got knowledge first hand or or next to it is. Everything is a facade now and it's no substance in it. Like I believe in music is supposed to, you know, resonate to people. You're making these music, like we grew
up on music. No matter what kind of music it is, whether it's wrap, R and B, whatever it is, it's it's supposed to be, you know, some sort of message in there that you can you know, hold on to. You know what I mean, you gotta drop you know. I come from where people was dropping jews. Even when Ship was exaggerated, it still was jews in the music. I think it's just you're just going and just say anything.
When you put scar face at Biggie somewhere, it comes yeah you like you know what I'm saying, like your flow, you flow attribute to Biggie, like how you put words together and felt like melodies and and and and you're breathing methods. But but I didn't. Uh, I didn't like how you dropped the jews. And he could be just as hood but still say like a scar face, don't ever come off as preaching. You understand saying do you think?
Do you think it's accurate or something of you? Um, it's one person I'm missing when you I think every rapper is mixed with three rappers. So I said, bigg East scar face if I if I m hm, big and scarf is definitely too super bigger influence on it's the people that's locked up nah steady b Yeah yeah yeah nah Ship. I mean that's that's that's that's like my top top two. Uh I would say, uh, I would saying kr ress wow on on a justistan the word playing right and that the simplicity. You know, still
be okay, I can see that. Let's make some noise for that. God damn. Now you was on one of the illest tours ever. Yeah, one of the first tours not only the illest tours, but it was one of the first successful tours that actually there's been other successful tours never run by black people, like this is the first time. Like if this, do you realize if this
tour would have funked up? None of us, like because everyone had the height of the day records and just how it wasn't like because you know, I've never I never did a date on that joint. I've never got to come out, got to do every other joints. I was like, I was hopefully God blessed. I was busy, but I just wanted to experienced that. I wanted to go the method man and then was climbing through this. Yeah. So, I mean again, I've been on plenty of tours. I've
never been on a tour like this. Did you know what you were on at the time, or or you were all right, cool, that's that's that's a good or something. I don't know. I it was the norm. I thought it was the norm, but it wasn't the norm for me because it just was like this makes some voice of your door, the hold on time, hold on, hold on. So you thought that that this was just I thought that's just how I went. That was my first. Really, I'm thinking this is like your your seven or something
like that. So no, hard knock, this was your first. I didn't have an album out. Holy see, I didn't peep that together because she was the one coming out. Rob and I compella, Okay, I I got thrown to the wolves like that. That's what was crazy. It was
that was okay, some method. Mahan is already out, Red Man is already everybody in the middle or a Jay show, he stops and says, I got this kid from Philadelphia that I just signed and ain't being mat you got something for him, And I'm looking at seeing people like oh ship and this is in the same round every night or every night, no one time. I remember I switched it and Jay was like nahow because I didn't know,
you know what I mean, I didn't know. I'm like, yo, I don't want to keep spitting the same ship like I got a lot of ship. I want to get here like nah, this, that's the routine, Like you gotta do that? Like, how is that hard? Like because you're coming out after hit right home. Yeah, that's sir. You don't understand like dm mex perform, then Red Man and Math performed, and j performed like it closed it up.
I don't even got a album out nothing. I think I might have been on clue mix tape a few songs. Uh and they there, how that ain't correct? Like and it's like all right, and they gonna get out there and I'm like, oh ship. So the first I'm gonna say the first three nights it was crazy, like like the shaking, not shaking, but like damn, I'm just like, yo, if I get boomed, it's over. It's over. But you know, you can't blame but DJ, you can't blame nobody. Ain't no,
it's just you yourself that's going in. That's like the fair you're going in. I just have my you know what I mean, I have my shower shoes, my child. You know what I mean. You're like, you're walking in and do that big you know what's you against? The jail. It's like I just stepped in the population. I'm walked on the yard fresh Fish and that's how it was
that night. And after the first three nights and the reception that I got from it, it was like, oh ship, it's about to be on and they just went crazy and I knew that that it was. It was. It was. It was a good thing because I remember seeing like when I came out, I remember seeing rand Man and Meth and I'm at one time d and Max and it was like these niggas can't like they wasn't watching watching Jay show, like when I was going on. They was coming on stage to see and it was like,
oh ship, that's crazy. It was like, oh ship. And then one one day I'm in backstage, Buster was it that self? The deal for me? Well, I was wanting to drink and Buster was like he stopped me and just shook my hand and just looked at me. Was
like yeah, And I was like, oh ship. But I'm gonna tell you something, brother, uh because you know, you know, you know, took to hype this ship up, you know, just so you know, everyone knew who he was gonna be, everyone knew who you was coming out, Like you understand I'm saying yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I used it against you saying the band from TV ship, but I was very proud of your motherfucker dropping two thousand
balls and thirty million balls on that motherfucker. So um, but we knew who you are, like we we we actually the hip hop like, um, you know, it's like not. I don't want to say a secret society becase I don't want people to be like thinking like we're on something like you know, some illuminaity types, because that's what I'm saying. But it is a group of people who sit around and say, you know what, we're gonna sunk
with a young man. We're gonna sunk with this. We're gonna work with this, you know, saying It's not that they got the power to push it button, but most people and when you came through, trust me, it was like wow, wow, this this, this is this is alleged. So let me let me switch around, let me bounce around boone. Al Right, so you guys are signed the Jay now state prop you know them now? Um, this is I knew free Okay, So uh I was crazy people the Rocket Fuller Records. You know what I mean?
I think I ain't know no better. You know what I mean, I didn't care, not even sign right, No, just get on anybody from Philly. Let's go, come on yo, these niggas. So I'm just bringing people up. So I knew Free at the time, like so, and I told Free our story. Ill so uh we're me and Free Matt Uh. I believe it was. We was at a club in Philly hip hop. It was called Dances. So they had h that's what Gilly and Waller used to
strip out. They set that on here right there. Yeah, like I ain't trying me like they dances, man, Yeah they did. Man, we got to figot footage of it. Seriously, my footage other I'm saying that he's a dance. They stare at least like what kind of dash they was? You know, it's okay, yeah, so here, where's that Bobby dancer? So it was like a lot a little contests or whatever. Was for some money or whatever. So uh, one of my youngest they told me about it. It was like, yo,
come down, like you should go down there. So I think they was I think the projects, like five thousand or whatever. So we had a spot, you know, on twenty first three, and we was making that in the shift. So we we we finish up. We we're supposed to finish up. We had our margin, so we go down there. We he loaded in this pocket. I'm loaded. I go down there, so I'm like, yo, we're in a crowd way, so I asked some I'm like, yo, whoever beat that joint? I'm gonna match that draint and I want to battle,
and who won the five thousand? If he beat me? He got another five thousand. So I got on stage. It got goofy. So I look up. I'm battling like three people. So I run through one dude. I wrote through another dude. So another nigga pull out some money. So it gets crazy the brand. So I'm like, yo, make sure that money right. So the one dude, but he he didn't want to put the money up, so it's in the crown d going crazy. So I look up. I'm battling three four dudes at one time, but I'm
running through him. So then it was another lord nigga. I'm looking he's going crazy in the crowd. He got his hat off slow, so we like he pull out some money out of his pocket. Bess I ain't like so I can see this. I can see the exactly dude you're talking about. I'm like, yo, you could get it too. So I grabbed put him on the stage, like you could get it too. So I'm like, da,
I gotta I'm a battle this nigger. But he stood right next to me, so he started going that another niggati that was battling and went crazy on that is. The whole club went bananis. So now we booth on at him and we're like, what's up with the bread? And they got a little goofy we had to do. But that that dude that can't out pulled on stage and still next to me. He was like, no, I'm gonna rock with you like and that was free and
that was free way. So that signed me in freeway freeway Matt, okay, So let me ask you right, so you guys are down with JA right boom freeway. I believe this is young guns. And he asks y'all to come to the radio station. Yeah all right. Does he tell y'all it's time for war? So he said, y'all listen, I want y'all to go out the best of MC that's other than me. No, that was that was I mean, because like he has to warn you about you guys are about to go out NAS. I don't think he's
gonna tell y'all to like my surprise. He got say you going the world? You had seven when y'all I'm sorry the first year when y'all wrong, No, we just was up there. I think, uh, like I said, all right, nobody had nobody signed the contract fell at this sign. Damn you went to Fastide. So y'all just got a relationship with Jane danea. They can't smoke with nas. This was before. I don't because before, because it's before the
NA situation. The first time we went to Hot nine seven when y're wrong, then you was robbing off the Queens beat and Yah, I believe that was the first time. No, that was that that. I don't think that was that was before. I think because we was offended because we attion. No, ya was offended because me was Bernie, all right, stop me if I'm wrong. It's too it's too sick. It's it's so you say the first time you went to
Hot Night seven ft. The first time we went to Hot Night seven it was just it was it was we was at Baseline Studio. So nobody uh at that time, I think actually signed the contract. Chat Okay, I was signed. I believe if anybody did sign a contract, it was Freeway. Okay, one of those I think Young Guns and O'skeino and Sparks was signed to Black Friday Entertainment. Even the manager people right, okay, cool, So they was Black Friday Rockefeller.
But we was all together. So when I was recording my albums, we used to just come up and just recording records because I was used to be fast. I go in and do three records complete and a couple of hours. So I'm like, yo, we got twelve hour blocked out. I didn't did what I came to doing four hours. I'm like, yo, we got eight hours. Let's go. So we just started piling up music like crazy. So one day, you know, we just started playing ship at the at baseline and we was Niggers was just scoring in.
So J just made a call and he just made the call like fun that we're going to the radio station. Okay, So here, you're right. It's just it has to be two different times. One time y'all went and y'all destroyed it. But then one time it was like deliberately where it was like, all right, Jay was really going at NOS. I don't think I was going at NIS, but I think I was just going at the moment anybody around. I think it was a couple of shows. Anybody that
came at Rocket Front of Records, Yeah, everybody. They called me. Listen, listen. They called me because one of them said, we want to run and uh they said something like we want to run nor And then I went, let me tell that story. Let me let me while you wear your queen's shirt. Yeah, I said about my Philadelicia. You up. But um um, so Jake calls you and says, y'all want you to go at NAS or I just want
you all to come on there and just while out again. No, Jay never made that call because he was with y'all when y'all know not when I'll get these stories mixed up? Jay was when is the first time we went to now okay, second time when we went up there, when it was it was just me, Freeway and the young Duns, and that was against not Nos, against Jada Jada, nicebody, everybody think some stories for everybody got so wow, wow, this is this is, this is this is this is,
this is where were that was your story. You're gonna say, Okay, no, all right, boom. This is why it's either I got it mixed up or we both a little been sucked up in life. I know because one of them was. It was one time when Jay was up there and they roomed up all queens beats and your mind have not thought like that, And na As I took it like it was like, yo, that was that was fat. So he called him money bags because it's a dude name on their name, h money bags. So now I
sold the money bags. Money Bags happened to be in left right in my projects at the time. I smacked dead in the middle, so he called products. He came, and then and then nature came and we all went to Hot nightty seven. We're supposed to be respawn and Flex actually pulled me to the side and was like, yo, they're lying to you. They never said nothing about you at all, you know what I'm saying. So I was like, all right, cool, But he was still there and he
just never let us up. So but that would have been some ill history. It could have went like that. No, it looked like you have never really didn't know. That's what I'm saying even like saying, like, I know, I know you used to say about it because just like we wanna got smashed, because that's what I think about it.
Jay might have used y'all like that, and you y'all didn't really know, like that's what you trying to say, Like he might have said, yo yo yo, to flex your put on shook ones put on till and why I put on it would have been flex playing the record. Yeah,
it was FLEXI paying the record. So what I'm trying to say so, so yeah'll probably was robbing on these beats saying ship you know, because you've gotter wrapping is anyway all and you're saying it and it's like okay, and it's it's resonating, like oh, that's this in that's this in the homies, you know what I'm saying, So like that's I think, James, that's smart. I think yeah, But I'll never looked at it like that. That would if that's how I went down. That was but that's crazy.
It's okay, um hard knight life till then you you beat up? Clue, how does that happen? Nine? I mean, I'm just looking at the footage beas I'm saying, I ain't make this up. Brodn't you down like that gown years. You know, we're all cool. You know what I'm saying, it's all no, let's go down that clue, my man, that didn't go down like that. So what happened? He's just we are not like tour. So clue got this.
I don't even know what the fucking call them. Joints. Uh, the slack jack ship, the ship that you the little metal, the little drink and when you swing it, so we should be left backstay he keep doing that ship, you keep doing that ship. So he was saying, like what he would do with something, I'm like, clue now allegedly yeah, because we didn't see it on Yeah, allegedly. You know I'm situated. I'm like, clue, you get one swing off because I'm you know, I'm young. I'm wow. So you
know I got the big ass drawing on. They don't nobody no so on tour by the way, you the biggest tour ever. Yeah? Ok, yeah so history, Yeah, this is run DMC and you have a half on you let's make let's make the best change. Not only had one, but I had just Yeah, so I remember they was mad as ship too? About that? Uh, because I used to put it in the van that the promo what's my man name? Man? He used to be hot. I'm like, man, this you won't be cool putting the box. But the
promo guy was Lenny said, what white lines? Dan, what's my man name? This is my man big showing. No, he worked for rocket Feller, but he was promo so he had the turtle top row on the posters and all that. So I had one on the bus and I used to stick one in the van like hes gonna get there, and I used to go chat. So anyway, no story short, uh, so cool to keep playing with this ship and he swung it at me. So I'm like a clue. I'm like, you only gonna get one
swing with that? Somebody? Do you dirty? He's like, now you're crazy. This ship reached. I'm like, you swing that drink. I said, I'm gonna swip that drink and I'm gonna take it from you. You're like, how you I'm not easy? I was, so I didn't know that he was gonna step in, and I'm like yo, I'm like all right, go ahead, swing that. So when he swung me it. You know, I just moved to the side. Just yeah, but it was just it wasn't it was attacked. It
was hands open. It's like, you're crazy. It was like and he walked into it and so I didn't get to you that he went to It's a they called it on a little joint, so it's just a little tap and then you know, but that's my man cling lord. Yeah, it was crazy food a man. That's why we get best terror and we're trying to cry. I don't want to be because I don't want to be an organic food. Can't God damn holy more? That was that was um And I know you're married now, he wasn't married in right, Okay,
I asked this question. This is before he was married. How much sposed you got back then? Because I'm married to so you know what I'm saying. But I mean, but your wife your hand see here. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, queen, I'm so sorry. But this is before, Like listen, my wife knows how to access before we rephrase the question, this before, so respect, my wife had to go through this. No, my wife knew. My wife knew what she married. We're good, but it was. It was wild back there. It was
a while. It was wild. It was wild, it was wild. Okay, I'm gonna change the subject. Yeah, I like being married. You like being the best thing that I've happened to me. Man, make you stay home and just make you cut out a lot of ship. You know what I'm gonna see if you tell my test you if you stay home? Come, what's your what's your what's your shows on television? Dirt doing? Dirnt do? Thunk? Thank thing? What's that do do? What's that? See that sound? Just my wife just swam home this way?
This is what I gotta watch. I don't want to watch she see that side for forensic files and and all that. And I've been thinking, like, you want to kill me? Watch trying to get away the killing. You know you're not in short spots. Keep watching and I should be into it and talking to stupid dummy. She should never did that. She should have wiped that put the nut like I know that. I'm mad. Wow, But um, what shows we watch? I'm a documentary boy, I'm a
documentary guys. I don't really do a lot of TV. But you know you want me to recommend the show you fire. It's called the shot. Oh yeah, I ain't get the shot the mayor. The mayor, black dude, But I'm talking about this was a hit, like a hood hit, like shot the Mayor. Like, come on, bro, what show is shooting the mayor? Come on, man, getting shot? You gotta watch that property three, take property. Hold on, we're gonna get to that. Let's get hold on. Hold on.
But because that's how it's either video games or series, that's how you stay home, you stay loyal. I don't play video games neither. I'm recommending a series. I watched my kids play video games PlayStation five. I don't get it. Yeah, I don't know. I don't get take my kids out to eat. They they don't even order. They're just like this, Yeah you're like that. I'm like, well, i'd be taking it from like I have to while I'd be like, oh goddamn, like it's crazy kids from whids coming up.
We couldn't wait to go outside. I gotta literally like take all the devices and kicked them up the house, like go outside, go do something. Yeah it's different. Now, okay, you're ready for quick time and slab all right? You know what this is not? Come on whatever quick time slave is. We actually just want one. You gotta hear. But if you you could ask either way. But if you say none or you say both, you gotta take

I don't know what you have with it. D Mexa tupac X. Okay, okay, they don't want some Japanese um call Yate or Jess Blaze both. You don't wanna take a shot of this specif ship in the Japanese. We can take a tiny shop that again. It's okay, No, it's not that took that shot. Cool, I owe you about him. Come on,
come on, cool, that's good dah. That's an double for me. Let's go back. That's made back. Okay, got n a k A tv C. It's TV's up, it's up. Make some Morrison tv C. Buel. You can't see it. Look when I was a fat boy, that that was my stunt double. I just made your famous. I've been famous famous. Tell god damn you know I used to work with Cosmic cav Okay, hold on, okay this I have to ask you a question about this later. But Meek mil or PT crack oh stop only not big personal style
style only not in personal pet crack hands down. Of course, you know, I didn't know what the rumor is. The rumor is that a lot of people say that Meek style is mimicked from PT crap. No, so not at all. No, No, okay, glad that he can say that. Okay, no, not at all. Okay, I'm not super but crack they don't have no yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, super bad. I mean that's what that's what that's what certain people say. No, that's definitely joling. That's the donod thing.
Nobody can mimic pet okay he just okay, so Cassidy or Freeway of course, Freeway Radio or podcasts, farm mass whatever whatever whatever you forever you think is podcast okay, just CEO just as far as Ceo Farmers. Yeah, give you a multiple choice, just far Ceo, No other not wrapper, other friends or whatever, Dane or jay Z m hm shot just Ceo, just CEO. Can I like take ship away from ship? Okay? You can break it down. You want to break it down, as you're saying, yeah, you
can break it down. Were like you were like you break down. Okay, I'm gonna have to take a shot on no, because but I want to hear the breakdown. I would love to break down as well. I'm gonna take a shot with you. Man. I'm gonna say Jay the way he moved is just if I could say Jay is super smooth, like he's he's super smooth with day like night and day. But Dash, because I feel like it's a black coming. I T I T Dame fas tenacity like a fighter. Yeah, Dane Dame is an
l CO. Like Dane, if he believe in something, he go hard, super hard and nine times out of tim Dame be right, but his delivery be fucked up sometimes. But he's he's a he's a super genius. So in my perfect world, I would take both of them. But I would if if Dame had j demeanor and his savviness, Dame would be the illness nick on the planet. My mom me to get back to get back to that question. You don't have to get back to the beat male,
get back to damon ja. Yeah, because we don't have to go back to the beat male, because you can answer the beat, pretty crac I thought I thought you would say something difference. Okay, um, oh, this is going million dollar versus mien dollar worth a game or drink chance million dollars. I love stick together. I can't. I can't even front I love it. Man. It's good to see me personally. You know what I'm saying. Okay, loyalty, your respect, But take a shot, take a shot. You
know why? Because that that you can't answer them. No, that's that's a true question. It's a tru question. It's super because one kid you respect, if you love him, you gonna respect him. That's a lawyer. You gotta ask some kind of respect. Cool, but you couldn't respect someone not be loyal to them. That can't happen. Yeah, that's true. That's why you can respect someone and not have loyalties to them. But you if you're loyal to someone, you're
gonna respect them. Bam. All right, cool, we're ready. Na. No, I don't think something. I don't think you could be loyal to somebody and not respected. No, no, no loyal You're gonna automatically respect. Respect, but you might not be loyal. All right. You can respect some one in the streets and to them. Okay, Philly most wanted or major figures. The figures, Okay, this is gonna be easy for you. But the sixes are the net Nicks, of course, the sexes. Okay, Eva, Bahama, Dea,
Eve max Is, or Isca Bibbles neither. Take a shot, buddy, you're gonna take one and take one and take them tick take one with you. I took Look look take a tiny one for ten for ten that's teeny see. This is that good ship. Just in case y'all. Y'all know drink chap shows about giving people their flowers while they alive. We have being make that statement up. We
invented it. I mean, we made it famous and Beanie, Beanie Matt, we want you Mac motherfucking Broadstreet body wants you to know how much we appreciate you now while you are alive. Are you out here kicking when I told you to come outside? I want you to come outside because there's a lot of things going on and I want you to be a part of it as a as a fellow brother. There's a fifty cent tactics and how I did it, but forget how I didn't
remember the remember the rest. So people if every day like I'm like, yes, because it's it's it's time, because you know what it is time for you to come outside this it's time for you the motherfucker claim what the funk is yours? You know what I'm saying, Like like I said, like I said in the beginning, and it's like, you know so some of us we get old, but we gotta never act old. You Known'stand I'm saying not because you as old as it fun you feel,
you know what I'm saying. So if you're gonna come outside like me, I'll be front like I got bad knees, but I really do. Up I'm saying is kind of us so, but I don't want to let that ship deterve who I am. I'm still getting up like a twenty eight year old. You know what I'm saying. And me, I want you to play You said play ball. I want you to play ball man, not just this battle boy life, my brother. You know what I'm saying. That's really okay, But let me finish. Let me got more Creektown.
That's some good ship because this ship is hit me now, this feeling warm. I'm feeling woman like you do. Remember BlackBerry branding? You remember BlackBerry branded back in the days that literally I didn't have I can't afford the co So that's where we that says I'll come, you know, funked up, you know, saying it couldn't afford the coach. So we used to drink BlackBerry Brandon with two sweaters and that was like a goose facts. Okay, um said
even Bahama Dea. We said that. Yeah, okay, okay, Max's major or independent? Independent? I need the explanation farthest me right now? All independent? All right, blessing, because I'm going with your answer. But you had the most fun when he was on the major. Yeah, okay, let's not have the most fun, but at the same time, I believe. I believe right now with me, it don't make no sense to go with a major. I'd rather do independent
and have a major support cash behind me. Oh uh, that's kind of what Rocket Feller was, um Will Smith or Kevin Hard Camera that's Fire Miami r l A Miami Good Choice nineties or two thousand Hip Hop nineties, jadea off five Jaded, Dr Dre Farrell, Big your Plan, Biggie too short, Ice cu Q, it's the last one, Guy Lebron or Jordan m Ja. I know he's just gonna say that you're support to give me some No, I ain't get a lot. They slipped up. I gotta
gotta start easy stop monitoring and the ship. You know, you remember this is the story that I've told here a couple of times. Don't play. Did you know there was someone that impersonated you out here in Miami? You never heard the story when you said, Philly, that's the same ant lever that was Rockefeller that was doing promo. I don't know if he's there was no there was someone that what whatever I was working def jam Rocket Feller. The street team is probably amazing had a store Crazy Goods.
That's where you came and that's how we met. The ninety seven and I was the mixtape dude out here. It was a dude that was rolling around. This is when you was just doing mixtapes. Nobody had seen you yet. Oh that's how big a dude came. You come around. He was going to the clubs and at first he wasn't say nothing, and then just he just People just started like yo, who's the dudes? And he would get on the mic. He was spill a little bit and he favored your style and he started to say He
would say like ship like. He wouldn't full blown stay he was you. He would just insinuate he was you. Listen, but no, it goes deep, it goes it goes crazy, it goes crazy. Listen on the radio. Hony went on the radio in person, naming you Callet. I think I told you, I think he didn't want to go. He went on the radio. He was just when cal was on Mixed ninety six, but that was our station at the time. He came to my store. He dropped freestyles
and something didn't feel right. Something I I was gonna bring let me just let let me let the see. So I got these freestyles, I'm about to put it on my next mixtape, and I'm like, this don't feel right. So I call the person I dealt with that rocket Fill. I was like, yo, what does Beanie look like. He's like, here a big dude, this is skinny. I said, there's somebody out here right now saying he beat. And the next week he was gone. But he had did radio,
he had did club appearances, he was hosting parties. It was a mixtapes, the Rockets in the building. I did the freestyle. I was like, yeah, I called up and he was gone. I don't know what happened that. You remember dream was there. He was and you didn't know neither. Every full calendar he was to stay at the station with Canadar. Holy shit, I remember you were telling me this story, but it's never be since just right now I got I found the pictures. I had to bless
the internet though, like God, bless that. Just think about it. Back in the day, you know there's people who did that to us North Carolina. My mom's called me one day it was like, yo, I gotta show on Friday, and they showed me pictures. It was not component angle, So I'm glad to have it to you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry with your pay so much, but I did. That's crazy. The internet has been Have you been able to utilize the Internet. I'm nah, I'm still getting used
to that ship. This is while get out of here. Yeah yeah, I don't in that crazy. Yeah yeah, in that. I can't do it, not by my I can't. I can't do it. I got to hidek somebody do that? What you mean like an assistance like a post that, Yeah, just to keep all that I can. You don't keep up with I had. I had an ill experience with it, Like right when uh ship? What was it? Was it
Instagram or Facebook or one of them? In the beginning, like I did a uh guy set me up with it with the with the Graham and I'm like, how this ship work? So no, I was Facebook? Was one of them? Facebook? Twitter? So I put up something on it and then this is something you named murder homicide one eighties seven started going in on me your DM No on this ship. You can see it comments, the comments on the public and on your post like you post, and I started going back and forth. What Nick pull up.
Then I'm like, what the I'm not, man, I ain't fucking with that ship because he found out who he was. No, he was a dude named Kennedy from Kennedy Strob somebody from whatever. But I didn't. I couldn't grash the concept of it. I'm not sure I could put this up at anybody can say what they want. Yeah, he was like, no, I don't look at it, and I'm like, what you mean this Nike talking? So I fell into this ship. Nobody puts you on the block button. No I didn't.
I didn't understand none of that ship's up. No, not to block. This was always subsisted fresh. I don't know how to use this ship. I'm like, what is it like? No, everybody got it. You gotta get on this. You gotta do that. You're like, I'm gonna set you a page and I'm gonna do all. I'm like all right. So he did everything and every day call him like, yo, you gotta put something out what you want to say. But but you know what's so crazy beings And I'm
gonna just tell you something. This is us coming from the environments that we come from. I bet you that one dude that you're talking about. There was ninety other ones who gave you compliments, but you didn't pay attention to that because you know why. It's like, it's like going on up the highway, and when the highway is flowing, it's nothing to look at. But if it's an accident, your shock and your look you understand I'm saying. So
it's pretty much the same thing I thought. I thought, I said, thinking, just like you like your own fucking fucking yellow shirt black pasts call me and like yo, Norman, shut the funk up, and I'm like, okay. But then I realized you're looking to due profile yellow certain black Pass. He's really fucked up in the game. He really he's had a hard time in life and he's just want to take it out somebody else. You understand, I'm saying. But yellow Shirt dark Pass rule where you at? All right?
Come to come to Windwood, man, This is where the food is. Man. We got Beanie secure right here. Save some beanie. Sekre makes some noise. Come on, maybe you're talking about the hard night life to it, man, Come on come in here, man, all right then? All right, one love brother, one love brother, all right, so, um, what we're talking about was into that about the internet and blocking people, yet he don't know what the and look,
so what Willie. What I discovered was that we pay attention to the negative part of what's happening with us because it's just attracted to us. We just can't help it. We were used to prone the violence, were prone to, you know, reacting, We're prone to saying you know what I mean. But then if you look at the same comments, out of the hundred comments you had ninety that was like, ops,
you the motherfucking man. And we we we were so caught up in that one dude that says something like and he's a bolso, he's a bows Oh, he's a Boso Leano. Listen, the first for that boso was the first. The first time I remember murder back with some murdered killing, the first time ever. I'm standing, I'm I'm with my man, Alex. He set the page up, I put the picture boom as soon as I put it up the first time. So it's going off. You're like, you know, somebody commenting
on it. This side work. He's the first person the death comment. First person. You nigga, you're about to go to jail, nigga, don't nobody fu And I'm like, what I'm Yo, the fuck ain't with that ship? You think it's a real killer. You're thinking this is I just didn't give it. I didn't know it. Jeffrey from Nebraska. Yeah, yeah, no, I feet for the same ship. I was done right there. I said, Man, that God damn. So I'm gonna actually, I'm gonna actually one word when I describe your albums. Yeah,
the truth one thing you describe. You don't even have to give you one word. Whatever you with the truth to thousand, I respect that. The reason uh fingering that out, it's very mature, it's very mature answer to be coming. I died it complete. Yeah, I gotta complete the Solution. I'm done. I need expation. I'm done. What you mean by that? I thought The Solution is gonna be my
last album in life. I was. I was when I was doing a Solution album, I was just making a transition in my life just you know what I mean. I was, you know, working on myself spiritually and everything, and it was like, yo, I'm done with this. Just I was leaving the rap period word. Yeah, that's well, Okay, the broad Street bullying a character character that's deep. Yeah, this time leftovers expecations because I love left overs. I'm a doggy back type of next. Yeah, yeah, I'm about
to say my thing is giving food for four days. Yeah, this time, that project, it was, I was so light. It's like I was wrong. I knew I had to go to jail for this tax. Uh the tax situation. So you have two different situations. You had one situation. I had a lot of situations. I had a lot of situations, but you had the tax things. So that was just like, Uh, I had a bunch of hard drives with a bunch of music, and I just was taking stuff that I didn't finish or whatever presented to
somebody like yo, take this project. Let me get that check real quick. So this time wasn't an album that I really worked on. That was just the only because I thought it was bullshit. But you know, looking at your face and seeing your expressions, you really telling me the Biggest Coming is the only album you really felt I really, yeah, that's the only album I would. I wasn't finished the truth and I wasn't finished the read. Like once I did the Truth, I said that's wrong
because that's I'm learning. I don't know how to make an album. I didn't know. I don't know how to do I'm ship Ja had to show me how to jump bars. All right, let me ask you. But when you go back and listen to the truth, yeah, you realize that's the truth wrong. Okay. I can accept that it's raw and uncut. Okay, because after you hear it, you realize you didn't know how to make an album though, right,
Oh no, because I felt like that with the Warrior Portram. No, I made it with guidance, with guidance, but I still made it. It's still your album, you understand, years my own. But it was a lot of uh yo, wrap on that wrap over this beat. But you're not ashamed of that, that's everthing. No, I'm not ashamed of it. But it was just, you know, I don't know. I thought that's how I went then that time progressions, it was like, all right, wasn't all the way you? Yeah? Why not
all the way? It was? No? It was good. I was like, now I accepted a lot of them. Everyone that was on there was just you gotta people, you gotta think about the people. They were suggesting to you just Blaze probably wasn't just Blaze at the time, but guess who just Blaze is now? No, I'm just Blaze first placement. That's that's what talked about. This that ain't better nothing, just but what what working was that? Who the funk want? What? Man? Believe? Damn? You know, I
got an ill story about that. Let's go, let's go get that. So are we here got that? Let's go, Let's go, let's go, let's get some more at the cop don't worry about it. So uh, I think I walked into a meeting that Dan was having with the A and R S or whatever, and it's supposed to be you know, listening to new sticking getting beats, and he was grinding him up, and he was like he just was, you know, being dame and was in the
storm ship. And I happened that, yeah, CDs, you know what I mean, in the trash and all that, and just make that normal. I actually picked It's crazy where I picked a CD out out the box that was supposed to been discarded the trash and it and it just so happened to Ben just bade and when I pulled it out, stop stop yeah, it was in the trash. Wait a minute, so you in the office, Yeah, and you just it's in the trash and you have been pick out the CD and this is just it was
just dream not like in the garbage trash. I don't josh, it's next to it's not in the garbage, but it's it's next two weeks. Yeah, I was you was in the garbage beating and save your life. I'm sorry. That's that's my assess of Jess Blaze. That's it. So I picking joints out and it was a joint that was city and hip hop and and I don't know if hip grabbed that. I don't know if I grabbed it or hip hop grabbed it. But we was listening to a nigga's like no, and I'm like, Yo, no, they tripping.
I'm like, play that other joint that and it was who the funk want what? And it was like, Yo, I need that because I was vicious to go there and get with the and no, I'm like, Yo, what y'all gout? I'm trying. I want to hear everything. No, man, play me this ship. That's y'all statues all the time, No hip hop all my di all my albums. Yeah, and it was it was Jess Blade, So shout out the Blade. So just put you on man, Simpson Flowers got damn it all right now? So so all right, bom.
But what he said said, play me the ship that you're stating for ja, Yeah, after you can pull to see the out, that's what you're told. I don't believe that if it was me or hip hop, but we was together, and I think hip hop. He was like, you know, and I'm like, no, what's that joint right there? And it was it was just Blaine ship. I feel like Jess Blade's had a Nintendo bad Dad on. Yeah, you know, he's a weird though. Let begin just to be clear, I don't know, you know, weirdo. This is
good ship, man, you know what I mean weird. It was a good ship. You know. It makes a noise for weird those weird to be part of it. I'm a part of it, you know what I'm saying. I think for will describe me as a weird though. I swear to God, I think if you asked for he like, you know, it's a weird though. Hanging around dudes and smoke bud and that's weird. I think you know. Let's move on. So you said you want to get back
to Dame. Okay, Damon j There was a time in death Jam history right where I wasn't privileged to this information. You would probably proposed this information. And I don't know if you were or maybe well I want you to answer. But it was a board on death Jam. Dame and Jay did not say they were breaking up, but they were breaking up. It was clear, and there was a list. It was death Jam Rockefeller and then d d G,
d d MG Music Group, Dave DA Music Group. And when I walked in the building every day, it would be my name on the Dame Dash Music Group, but your name on the Dane Dash Music Group, and it'd be a couple of others in the Dane Dask Movie Group. And everyone else who didn't have to say so was under either Rocketfeller or death Jams. What happened was for me, Chris Likedy was not having it. Chris Lidy just kept erasing my name. That's how I wanted them kind of
getting out of it. But how did it go from you your name being on Dame Dask Music Group almost every day till I believe you went on your own after that. I'm believe I was in jail. I was locked up. Okay, So when all that was happening, I was, I was I was away. Whoa damn I didn't realized. Yeah, I was. I was away. Also when that to the chop More hole ship oh ship? Yeah yah, but it looked like so the outside looking in, which is which? That's that looked like I was wrong with with with
Dame Day. Yeah, but that wasn't that wasn't the case. So okay, prior to you going to jail, Like right now, I have a business partner. We spoke today. We truting to speak for a couple of weeks, and they and I was telling them, like, you know sometimes you know, with certain people things and certain things, I'd be wanting paperwork moving forward because I've said such. And he goes, you know, these are my these are my friends. And I agree with that, you know what are my friends?
But I said, but I said to him and said, yo, bro, Jay and David suing each other right now? Yeah, Like I had to tell them. I was like, yo, maybe you didn't see their relationship back then, and maybe a lot of people didn't see the relationship back then. But to me, I saw a little as brothers, like real, real brothers. I'm outside of looking at me. Did you ever think that it would be where it's at now? Like, yeah, whoa,
So you knew you see discrepancies? Yeah, okay, okay, what was the first discrepancy you seeing that you knew this is unfixable? Uh? Damn, I don't really want to Just the personalities you de scrapped earlier. I mean from that you you just you just knew, you just knew it was. It was people less frequent in the office and in the studio, and it just was wearing what was was it attributed to dip set this is always a room
or always I think it was deeper than that. I think all of them was just like thorns in the side, like this little ship, you know what I mean? And I think, uh, you know, sometimes you outgrow people, you know what I'm saying. And when you locked on your mission, you gotta stay on that on that mission. Everybody can't go.
I learned that over there over the years. And uh, besides all I think all that little ship like that's nothing, the depth set ship and all that ship like if ain't nobody sucking nobody wife or or doing this ship. I think everything should move like it's something. This is the mature beas that's talking, and I respect this. But
back then, was it something that bothered? I mean, come on, like, you know, you guys were there putting in the blossed sweat and tears and their dame just announced his camera is just the president? Like that feels a little funny. I think it was where it was where you no phone cast was. Man, It's like, yo, what the fund
is that? Because no phone calls was made prior to that anah at that time, if anybody that I believe, you know, if it was something you know, I wasn't in control and none of that, so that wasn't even my place. But I'm like, damn, like I believe anybody. Just just me thinking if anybody was to you know, if it was something that you know, it was being passed down to somebody, I believe Bleak should have had that before anybody. Well, I think you're gonna see it.
So nah, Bleek was there. But for me, you know, besides all that accolates and the music and the success anything we're talking about, we're talking about the crew and squad like he was next in line. You know what I'm saying for me even though I came, I did what I did, But Bleak was that, you know, that's w he was thereble for me. So that's how I'm looking at it. So it's like, you know, what the
funk going on? Like ship like that. I was like, yeah, it's about to get goofy because ahead, you know, not knowing what you know what I mean I ama to do with that shot. So because I think Cameron came up here and said, um, that you stepped to him one day, right, yeah, And he said that because he because he said on one of six and part excuse me? What do he said? He said, it's like, yo, you're the president of death Jam. How about the other people? And he was like, yo, you know I just handling
in eyes and whatever they do and they're doing. And I think he said he stepped to him. My baseline, it was like, yo, yeah he said something like I don't know. He said he said something about mail whatever, uh not uh, not knowing the business or something like that. True, but you know, I just told him, true that you didn't know the business or true that no I didn't conversation. No, I ain't. I ain't not so uh yeah, cam came through.
I ain't know so, but when he said it was like I felt this or whatever he said, it ain't had to go you know what I mean to the public. So I just it was I'm trying to answer this because it was it was converse because I saw the cam interview and Cam was right like it was when he said he came room and people were talking. He was they was talking. So I'm just the type of person like when he when he went it when the interview came, everything he said was correct when he say,
you knew people was talking. The reason why I said something between because I wanted them to know, like I'm not with that like anything I said, I can repeat it, and I wasn't with no bits ship And you know, it's up to whoever that was in the room, you know, to say what they said. Nobody said nothing, so it's like anybody's gonna say nothing to it. So you know, I'm still I'm a soldier. You know what I'm saying. I'm I'm if you if you put it in that
like you know what I mean. I followed orders That's why I felt that my job wasn't It's like, all right, what you want me to do, I'm gonna move out. That's how I can. That's how I thought it was supported. That's how it was. So. Yeah, it was like damn when Cam came in and it got quiet, like he's not gonna leave and be like, yeah, I'm making it's something that everybody got quiet when I came. Now I got to do say something you know, may listen, Yeah,
so what's up with this situation? You know what I'm saying? And it just I don't know what what I said or what what's said. But in getting left, just to let him know, like yeah, Nick, just talking about you cause yeah, keeping it honest, you know what I mean? But or me and wasn't on on Miles Tip, not towards Cam, you know what I'm saying, Not towards because for real, for real, Kim used to give me a lot of fucking game that I didn't know if Farthern swent that how I should be moving with my squad
was stayed property. Like he used to tell me a lot of ship that now you should do this, you should do that. And I used to watch can make a lot of moves that he was to make. He was like, I'm telling you get your niggas. So so I function with cam No. One of the famous rumors is the reason that you and Ja fell out was that this these famous times with Dame Dashes bringing people to the court, to bring these famous people to the court. Believe I may carry came one time or maybe that's
the movie. I'm not sure, beyont who I'm not far off. So there is this rumor at one time that Jay I don't understand or whatever, and they asked him, um, would you be responsible yeah for beings? And he said no, Yeah, that's the truth, absolute truth. So what my state did that put you in? Did that put you because there's two things that I'm thinking. You could think, damn, let's do this foul. Or now, as an older person, you could probably say, you know what, I was a little
out of control, Maybe I gotta take accountable. But at that time, I'm sure you wasn't thinking like that. What what was going through your mind at that time? It was all right? Put it like this rocket fellow Recus was the only thing that I've ever been a part of that I thought I was honest, this is just dope. Ill, Like niggas really fucked with me for what it was like, I ain't gonna lie. I was. I'm from South Phully, so yeah, I mean nigga smiles ship, Yeah, you know
what I mean. Praying next to you, turn around and blow your head off like he said, smile, take your hand, pray next to you and all that vicious. That's where I come from. And kill you, wash your body, kill your son and for the kid with your daughter. Yeah, that's where I come from. That's the world that I that I lived in. So me being with Rockefeller, the
law familiar. I held onto that. It's like I got something and you know what I mean, And it's like these niggas got me and they don't want ship from me. They just want me to do this this music. They got me, and that's all I asked. You got me. That's where I came from. I never looked at me having a career. I never looked at the business. It was lie familiar life, familiar life, familiar, We have family,
all you have to do. You got me. So at that time him, when uh, you know, I'm going to court and we all were about to be on tour. We're on tour, so hold another tour. Yeah, we want we want to hold another tour. So you know, I'm I'm going for my bail hair and the fairs. And the judge asked, Jay, you know everybody's saying all these good things and all that, you know what I mean, the character witnesses, dame and you know mind everybody saying and even Jay said a whole lot of good things
about me. And the judge was gonna let me go monitor, and she said, you know, would you be willing And that's the part that people wouldn't. Would you be willing to be responsible for his whereabouts, not be responsible for my actions just as whereabouts? Would you be willing to do that? Provide us with all the information, you know, saying that he's gonna be here and there, there there and after all that good ship And he said no. But it was like the way he said it, and
he put his head thing. He was like, no, I've never been crushed like that in my life, because I'm like, damn, this is my man, like hey, and I looked at it at the time. I looked at it like all right, no, he what if I had to get the funk out of there. I mean jail, I'm still tall all my ship, But what if I really needed to go? This was going in my mind get like yeah, like, bro, I had attempted murder and in the state and the federal gun charge and all this ship the forty years it's over.
This is our face of forty years. What if I hey my mom, thinking like damn, what if I really need the rule M be on the running go like I'm from like this is my man and I love him. If he skipped that, no, I'm getting my man. I'm getting him out by any means necessary. So for need to look him in his eyes. And I'm sitting I'm shackled rand the whist ankles and everything, and a man was like no, like that was that that? I don't even like? That was just funk. That was that sucked
me up. It took everything in me not to like let when you go like that was like that was that took away a lot of ship that I thought that that we had, Like that's a big bro. Ja was the only person guy I ever we had had. We had an incident at Baseline Studios and uh, I was you know, indulged in in my leisure pleasures, say that I was in dogs and that South mad intellectual love. Yeah, I was like dogs and I was in dogs and in my leisure pleasures, and you know I was feeling good.
You know, and Lawrence, my chain. Somebody took my chain off my neck while you were sleeping, because yeah, I was like somebody took the chaine. So I just came from like Atlantic City, like two days and it's like fun that we're going to the studio. So I just to a c The cracks probably went like being something, so I got like a hunt. Let me assume that you automatically thought as Brooklyn Niggers. Now I didn't know who the funk. So so it was harder could be
in the air to anybody. It was somebody. Somebody had his baseline. Somebody had to let somebody you hadn't know the cold to get in this sort building like ship. Nothing commissing out of hisstum. So my chain. And when I when I when I wake up, I'm looking on the floors and all these other out of bills on the floor. Money in my pocket. Your money is money. So they I'm in the bat room, so I dip off in the bat room do my thing, you know.
Uh So this is like maybe six and six in the morning, six thirty in the morning, and ship you're waking up. Yeah, but I've been in there for two days streight recording. Okay, two day straight recorder. Not two days straight. No, I'm in the two days street recording. So I you know, I'm gonna go down, take me a little that real quick, and go back at it, because that's how used. That's how I record. Like I go in the studio, I be in there for days. So uh, I come out, I'm looking and see all
the money on the floor like that. So that's the first thing that I'm thinking, Like the fun I'm thinking, I just dropped it out of my pocket. So when I started counting it, they went into your pockets. I'm like, money going I wake up, Like damn, So I asked me. I'm like, yo, that's some momside. All who came into who came in the bat room. Everybody see I'm waking, Nigga's up, everybody's with me, everybody's sleep. So they're like, man, my uh, somebody say, Mac, you was drawn. You probably
win your pocket or something. You dropped that money Nigga's trying to go back to seat nigga. When is we leaving? That's where everybody want to know, because I you know, I kid not nigga. Yeah, I kid not said when is we leaving? Something like man, where the funk? I'm like, yo, so I can't like no, like it was like six seven thousand dollars missing out my pocket. Bro, Like I ain't trumping, I ain't down. So then I looked at him. It's like like, are you sure you got all your ship?
I'm like yeah, And then it hit me it was like but where you put your ship at? So now I looked him like, you know, I ain't paying the mom like yo, who got my change? So everybody like no, I an't got to change. So I'm like oh. That's when it was like, oh, I'm like, nah, hold the funk up? I wait, everybody up and the studio. Who the funk came in here last night? Nobody don't know nothing. So they got they was on the same ship with It's YouTube they were they were sleeping too. No, they
just was there. They weren't. They just was sleep because I had him up for two days like the studio. Long story short my ship got missing. Nobody had no answers. I know for a fact. Can nobody come up this elevator. You gotta have a cold, and not even cold, and it's camp. You can't show me no footage nothing. And even if you got the cold, they come up the elevator, you still gotta get buzzed in. All right. They had a remodel baseline. Yeah, everybody, it just got crazy in
that joint. So I remember Jay, they must have called and was like yoways got goofy and all that. So it's before he was like, Yo, what the funk? I'm like, nigga, somebody just took my change, like came in and they ain't telling me. I ain't trying and none of that ship bu my hung up, Barny and he called back, and it's the first time I was like he was like yo, he said he checked me, like yo, since
don't you remember. I don't remember exactly what he said, but he was the first person like that ever like put me like in my place. Just before all of the trial and all that. He was like, don't you ever hang up on me? And I felt it and it was like damn, like that's big bro. I couldn't do nothing. I felt like so, so I'm sorry that bond. So it's the first time he didn't feel like a big girl was It was no that right there, like.
But the reason why I'm saying that story because I took that like big bro, like he fuck on Jane me, not like he was like, and I'm like, damn he checking me. Everybody I can checked sometimes everybody not a ball to that. And you know what, some people just write you off. You know what, they ain't gonna deal with you no more than I let you wild out and do all that and just write you off. No, he was like one like I didn't take it as like he. I took it like you know, the big
homie he checked me. So I had that law point like any anybody couldn't do that. Fuck what you say, well, let's get it. But it wasn't like that. It was like, damn, big homie checked me. I wore that, So I'm thinking, like they't do that. He fox with me heavy. But that situation when he was like, nah, I had to go back to that cell and I know the same people. You know, it's saying, yeah, but you was wild and
live by But you gotta understand the facts though. Okay, so what what if I was what if I was bother was tripping and I needed to get out of that jail the brig would you do that? Say? If you put it like that, get in the sun. I've done, you know, Yeah, I've done. It's different for me. I've done it already, but I've never I'm not, you know, helping him out in this situation. I'm not telling them that what he should have done I didn't do. But
ship like I got federal problems. I got because one of them, one of one of my man's was going to get the triple homicide. He was when the first person to have the death penalty, and the FATS came to me and told me not to testify on his behalf. Like when your name come up in the case. It's two different things that they could testify that they could they could testify you be the state's witness, or your
homies can make me testify on they behalf. And I did that, and trust me, I've received all the consequences for that. Now. In your situation, I was, I was with you all the time, But as I got older and I realized how out of control. Not only you were me were a plunn were like we were just young people at that time. I do understand it. I understand yeah, but you know you know what I mean.
That's why I said what I said. I when I told you, like everybody can't go like I believe at that time, like Javis thinking like I was too like unpredictable because there's anything that happened, Like I'm on tour, I got seen guns and I'm leaving pistols in hotel rooms under not under mine, under rocket full of name and yeah John John mcmilli a piece of ship because yeah,
this nigger called me one day. I leave uh a four or five Kimbler, and I don't worry if I leave it leave it's guns hold allegedly Allegedly it was. It was it was. It was a gun that was and the and addresses drawer in the hotel and weirds on tour. It's nothing in it. No, I didn't want it back, but I received a phone call and from somebody and was like, and I knew somebody else was on the line, and I knew, like after two states later, I'm like, fuck, I'm like, I'm asking my man like, yo,
you get the gym. It's like no, well, I said, oh ship. So I get a phone call. So after I guess the house keep become clean up the room and ship they must have find it, I get a phone call from Johnson Nelly. I have no idea. I mean, like, ya, I think you left something and and it was like, no, only nothing. You're thinking the police on the line. So I'm like he was like you sure about that? We got you? He was like, yeah, I think you you you left something, and uh, I ain't need nothing because
you know what he's trying to say. Yeah, And it's like, yo, what the fund is you trying to do? But what why the fuck is you calling me asking me about a pistol that was left in the old town room and you keep talking about some hold on and you're talking to somebody. Yeah, so all that ship playing part of it. You know, I was I was bucking. I was budding, he was bucking. You is doing that? You ain't think it? You know, I ain't thinking that ship
like uh freezer. So you know I'm saying all that to say I know I was out of pocket, like I was uncontrollable, and and and I'm saying you touched on it earlier. Um, and you think that it was because Lean to me, right, doesn't seem like an addictive job. And my bucket is it me that? Yeah? Is it? Is it? What a? It doesn't seem addictive to me. It is what you take with it. Okay. See a lot of people don't understand, all right, Lean, The only narcotic and Lean is is cod which is this? You
gotta take a lot though it's cold. And where these kids is going now? And they I tell them, like they're not really drinking lean, y'all, y'all drinking lane, but y'all really addicted to the pills. They addicted to them thirties and them rocking sets. That's they take it with it and take it with it, get add to it. But all of it is goofy like all of it is just I wouldn't suggested to nobody you hear the
mute first time you're sipping, you might get addicted. You don't know my eyes Peah notes, did this guy out of hand? You were going hard at one time? Yeah, super hard. Yeah, and at that time I think he was drinking yellow Yeah. Um, that was called scissor no shirt, but the same ship, the same okay, all right, because because the first time I heard of it was April m j G. And then the second time was Monia, but I never got to see him. But this see
in Philly, Philadelphia, y'all. I was really really up on that Originators, Originators before Texas and before Memphis. I mean, win, Yeah, he breaked down the story. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you know the break out some foul ship. But if originated it, man, you gotta take the favor. Nah before we Jay Street if you know your history used to typen up. It's one of from tire. But I muna say that for something else, for a documentary for four or four movie. But Ship, well, I was that because you got me
all over the place. Philadelphia was the first people that um the Jay Street and you said you said something else enough, But it was Philadelphia before Memphis and before Yeah, I didn't know. No, I heard that a couple of times. I thought it was just a Philadelphia thing. When I heard it in in They in They music. When it came out, I was like, oh ship they down. It was like shocking to me. Yeah, but it was it was Memphis in here and sipping on some sisters like
I don't even know. Yeah, yeah it was. It was weird like like they but the way they do it is different than all that they mix it with the shoulder and all that. It's wrong overall straight up. Yeah, okay, she's the use cheese, make some noise, some sis. No, I don't mean so sorry. So what made you stop? We made you? What made you made you say? I'm not working with that. I mean, you know, you grew out a lot of ship because I mean, I guess the first time we ever kind of started taking this
serious was Prempcy. Yeah was that a time where you was like, wait a minute, because like we try to ignore it, but most people say that that is attributed. I mean some people. You know, I can't speak on uh Like I said, that was just one of my leisier pleasures. Like you know, you you you anything you're indulge in, you gotta know your limitations. And I think right now we're in a we're in a space where people just just ages. It ain't no limitations or nothing.
There's no rules, there's no parameters, there's nothing in place, and you know, you got we were in the uh no boundaries. There's no uh, there's no repercussions for your actions. Nobody nobody's being held accountable for anything that they do, and everybody is I think we're in a space where people is lacking an identity of who they are, so they just following you know, everybody else, and there's these
things like this. That's why when you say about these devices, these things, I can't really get with because I believe we're in the space right now where don't nobody know exactly who they are? And that's the question I think you could ask, You should ask people on your joint, like who are you not only that these things make us stupid? You know, back in the days you got locked up, you knew everybody's everybody. I can't. I don't even I don't, I don't know. I just know, mom.
Yeah you know what I'm saying. I just know, mom, And you know what I'm saying, like, oh, this ship and the smarter, Uh, this ship gets the dumb my we actually because but um, okay, so moving on right boom um this thing happens in court. Yeah, do you hang out after that or you don't? You don't really see him? Back ninety Jan so I got in jail and what what what? What time? Is this? What album?
It was probably by like h to add this was like oh see let's say like oh far okay, So do you have this conversation like do you put them to the side and say you know? Bit on me? I felt a little you know what I mean, Na, it was, uh we never had that conversation. You know, do you wish you would have had that conversation? Yeah, like I wanted to hear from like you know that I wanted to hear it from him, like where would you act? Like who's up with? You know? You want that?
And I think that that that was a lot that uh, that weighed on me, just a lack of having not being able to had that conversation that was like funked up to me, like the again, what's up? Like when you can't talk so and I think lack of communication is it's it's key man, You've got to have some type of communication, Like I don't want to hear a message from Lenny Es. I felt it's though, you know what I mean that I can have that conversation, you know what I mean? And I mean I couldn't right
but after he said, no, yeah, I felt entitled. He was calling shock, he was calling all these people and they just like, yo, what's upping like? And I couldn't have that. But you know as I got, you know, old, older and pastic like that, that entitlement thing, that's a dangerous joint man. That's that like entire like me, this is just my pep and my experience it entitlement. And I want to say the entitlement is like the thief of hard work and prosperity and grind like when you
feel entitled, that could fuck you up. That could suck you up more than that lean ship was like, yeah, yeah, it's the thief a hard work and progression man. That's facts that ain't nothing like that which goes with question. That ship can leads you to the Prussia, all kinds of ship that that tileman thing is a dangerous thing to play with. It all funked you up like in life for real, like and you know I had to
learn that soon. Me understanding that and then looking back and then watching ship like I said to continue what I was saying, like, you know, I look back now and watch it and it's like that everybody can't go what's meant for you, You're gonna have it. What ain't meant for you? Gonna miss you all day. But I believe Jay was on a mission, you know what I mean,
And I respect him for that. As I sit back and I watched, and I said, man, Jay was on because I remember I started revisiting some of our conversations that we would have of a dynasty. Yeah, I ain't like that. Join I hated that bull love the movie. I hated how they watched a yeah, because you never watched it. Oh no, you should watch it. I'm gonna be honest, Well, everybody need another year. I'm not gonna lie.
They're so accurate and playing with with they're playing, but it kind of winds up being not accurate but close to it, and it's like it's like, all right, cool. And that's what I was trying to tell my partner the other day, Like, if you look at that movie, they made that movie because they thought they would never break up, So they're making fun of something that would never happen. You think about it, did they really? It
was too close? They think that's like that's like that's like me and you say, you know, we're gonna break up. Let's make a movie about it were doing. I mean, just the way he's even talking about seeing it from before. This is before, before, This is before the before, This is before, This is almost right before the private jets. This is it was pretty close, man, It's pretty close. But I'm telling you, they were that cocky that they made a movie about something they knew what happened to them.
In my opinion, they knew wouldn't happen to them. That's how cocky they. Well, I'm just telling me on my outside of looking at it, he could tell me no one, yes, right now, I think it's accurate. I was. I'm in the all of the movies too. I'm in Paper Sold just something. I'm in all of the movie. So I'm telling you so like, because it really was a dynasty to us from the outside. Then so and I'm sorry,
I'm like beating a dead horse. But what was the moment where you realize I know you said it earlier that you. I said, yo, did you think that they would be where they at right now? And you said yeah, But what was the moment the exact moment that you realize damn, this is old one like? And you said It wasn't dip set. You're already cleared. I don't think. I think that just was part it was. It was. It was a lot of things. You know what I'm saying. You know what I mean. I don't know, like, uh,
a couple of years ago. I tell you everything. You know what I mean, But say what you came to that ain't my business man? You know it is because it's it's I used to think it was my business. Oh well, when it's pertaining to you, pertaining to you, it's it's your business, not the overall rocket Feller. No, this was a lot of things that this was happening. And I believe, like I said, Jay was on the mission where J now j j J was on the
meant one nothing stopping it from getting there. And you can't. You can't let nothing get in your way when you gotta gold. You're trying to set a goal sometimes you know what I mean, you gotta do the like I'm a perfect example with keeping the world go wrong. Like when I got on, like I was trying to bring everybody with me, come on, let's go, Yeah, everybody, you can't do that. You can't do that, like it's impossible to do that because dudes gotta wait in the car
get Some dudes got not even get. He didn't getting the car. You just gotta stay in the crib and you gotta send something Dad. You gotta not even even figure it out from the south, even if you got lovers. You just gotta understand that when you want a mission and you handling business and you gotta go, it's things that you gotta that that takes steps. Like you know, I come, I come from the nigger world. You know what I'm saying. I'm I'm you know, I got family.
But when at that time and rocket fell it, like you know, I I didn't have no kids. I had children, but they were small, so I didn't understand the whole thing about the the parent ain't and all that because I come from a broken home, you know what I'm saying, And so it was just me. I was just living for me. That's how I was. Like I left my
home when I was thirteen. I was out there. So when you got missions, you have set shut up, like when you gotta go to your accompanies, like first and foremost, family come first, and then you gotta understand and realize there's a difference between family and relatives. So you got that part right there. I had you like twisted. So you gotta comb through that ship. Then you can look out with the homies and all that as you do.
But a lot of people don't understand, like when you want the mission, like everybody just can't go because it could be something that can be innocent. But if you're this part of the entourage and something happened, you could funk up this ship overhead, and we can't fuck that ship up because if you fuck it up, you can say, all right, my bad, but you're sucking it up for everybody. Y'all steps in line too, you know, benefit off of your hard work, so you know, like everybody can do.
I think Jay was on a mission. He was trying to complish something and it was just a bunch of ship that was in away of where he was trying to accomplish, Like even within the business, you know what I mean, ship was getting funked up. You know, rock and were was it was a lot of it was. It was a lot of fund state property stay probably closed. It wasn't a lot of funds that I that that that was being used for a lot of ship that wasn't a part of a part of this. Let's get
back to that, to to that estate properly closed. Mommy, if you can't, please but um feeling in the air, you said one of the craziest lines that ever. You said, your hand shape ain't matching your smile. Yeah, it's an amazing line. I know what you mean, but you're not even though you're talking to me, you're not talking to me talking to millions of people. Can please explain that to the people who don't understand that everybody that shakes
your hand isn't your friends? Nah, but please can you can? You can? I mean you just you just say that every body that ship in you know, you're knowing that bad. Everybody you know smile and they wouldn't shake your hand, and they want to take you to DNA. Ain't eat. I don't want to eat. I don't want to go to now and I don't want I don't know. I'm cool,
I don't want to do that. You know, after while, you start seeing ship that ain't for what it is, and it's like, oh ship, and you know what I mean, you gotta watch for that, you know what I mean? The windows, the souls of the eyes. So I read between all of those that your eyes is the windows to your soul. What I'm liking, I just called a dyslexic moment. Like you, I'm just like yell. We just read people like you know, you know, handshakes and all that.
You know, somebody might give you to make you write that ball that's a specific particular ball when handshake ain't matching, it's was that someone someone specific? Was that someone specifical that it was? It was I was talking to a lot of people, a lot of people in that like, all right, uh that I think I did. I can't go on. I think I recorded I can't go on this way and fill it in the air. At the same time, I was doing both of those records. So if you listen to them, if you listen to him,
you know something going on. I feel funny. You can't tell me nothing different. My nose switching, my intuition is set. And then like Steve vision, you know, he can't you know, man, I still close my eyes, I still see visions. Still hear a voice in the back of my mind. I mean, is I'm the breakup is coming? Oh I didn't know, Yeah, it's coming. It's there like and can't go on this way the biggering, trust, honor, devotion, you know what I mean,
Krmer Team US, rock solid, damn the Evils. Wow, I can't go yeah with no union you know, and and no benefits, no dental plans. I can't eat off the underground cavities that need feeling. I can't feed the nigga peanut shoes. Put your feet up in the nigga shoes. I lack of green and giving nigga blues a sip of that purple and make a nigger rule. It will make a drunk person speaking sober too. If you put
puppies in that oven, do they're making bise kids? You put horree dogs in the kitchen when they eat the kittens? Do you hear me or you listening? It's a big difference. Do you catch my lines of the looks? That's why I don't know why you even called me off for drink. Yeah, like that ship, like when I sit there in the Evils, it's like that. You listen to the Evils. With Jay Rocker, it was like him and his homie, you know what
I mean. They used to fight over you know what I mean, building blocks that ain't fighting for blocks for buildings that make it killing. It was him and his homie. It was tight. So I said the evils because it was it was this and then it fell apart and then it was ship and it just was like, man, I don't care when that back. That's that. That was the best thing I've ever been a part of. It's
besides my marriage, you know what I'm saying. It's great to hear you say that because you know that explains like most of the descripacies that you had with Jay is because it really wasn't a described ship. It was
you know what it is. It was. It was because I wanted to talk somebody, big brother, Like I said, this is the first person that I ever really liked, Uh checked me and could check me like that, checked me like want some And I loved it that the fact that that made me love Jay Moore that he would you know what I'm saying, Nigga, don't you ever? And it's funny because my man, uh, because he was just like like like, for lack of a better term, every beef at that time, Rockefeller had everyone knew if
you had people Rockefeller, yeah, you gotta beef. For bees. Yeah I'm coming, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm coming. We can't say nothing about big brother. So how did you go from there to um, you know we know the court thing, but you've seen each other after that. Yeah, So what was the part where you said, you know what, I want to go in and I want to just make some records of going against him? What was that bar made?
What made you go there? Depression? Uh? You know, anger, not ass niggers in your air, you know what I mean, A peanut dollary lifting you up, making you seem like you're bigger than entitlement all that dumbass ship. That's real, out of pocket, that's real ship. Your growth is crazy. Your growth are so crazy, super card like you know, Um, you know, I know you. I cherish you, I'll foxed with you. Yeah you know, but to see your growth, man, you know what I mean? And to see our growth,
you know what I'm saying. Because it was all boso, We was all young kids. Um yeah, yeah, good, it was all yeah, it was all Nory trying to get me need no, no, no, no, I'm trying to get you nice because you know why, you really really deserve these flowers. You really I've been trying to get you on this show forever because your story is really really important. Um, you know, you're part of the rocket fell. The legacy is really really important. And I'm gonna tell you something,
one thing that I learned from a long time. If you don't tell your story, someone tell your story for you. So uh. And we come from the era where you know, we avoid cameras, we don't want to be on and you know that makes us old dudes, though I'm just being honest. We gotta learn how to adapt to this new generation which we're still us. We never want to jump out the character. We're never gonna you know, as long as you still you, we we we can dominate
this field too. We can we can do I'm telling you because I can only be me, man, I can't be nobody else. They already them because there's a bunch of dudes. There's a bunch of dudes that don't give a funk about us. But there's too many people that give the funk about us. And let's not give a funk about people who don't give a funk about us, talking the ones that's sucking with us because they fucking want us. You know what I'm saying, Legence just sucking
something dope right now. And to be a funking I'm something good, I'm not. I'm not gonna let hip hop say because you know we've been in here for this amount of years that we're washed or we're old or I can't allow that. I can't. I just can't do it. And this is the reason why we invented this show is because you know, this is a whole different life for us. You know what I'm saying, Like I love what Cameron is doing, what Pink Horsepower, Like the motherfucker's
selling viagra. Let's just be clear, that's fucking dope, like you would think Carolin and something Viagara, Like come on, bro, like Norway's fucking media Like, how fucking no. So there's an afterlife, you know? Um, this is what was that Life after Death Biggie Names album. You know what I'm saying like this that isn't because you know, for us, to a certain extent, hip hop is death. And I'm
gonna tell you why hip hop is death. And I don't mean death in the sense of but I mean definite a sense of something goes away, your private life leaves like like me and you everyone else here, you know, besides the fen as well. You know, there's a couple of others. But when they leave work, they can take off day, they scrubs or whatever whatever, and they go back to the regular life. There's never you will never go back to regular life. Do you know that? Never?
You will never go back to regular life. There's always Yeah, but there's always gonna be somebody you're thinking, what, Yeah, Yeah, So what I'm trying to say is we never take our mask off. Our mask is on regardless. Yeah, you understand. So like when Jim Jones sometimes said, you know, being a rapper is the most dangerous job on the universe until a certain extent, He's right, because we don't know the enemy, but the enemy knows us. Now they see
the face of things and I mean chased this dream. Yeah, got them, got them. So you know, I'm gonna wash you up up, start out. Let me tell you. Let me tell you one thing I did. Let me tell you what. Let me tell you the one thing I did. Let me tell you something. Besides Queens, the most undivided place in America. You know what it is? What's not Philadelphia? Yeah, you know, the only time in the past ten years
that Philadelphia so solidarity. When it's when it's on, That's when I challenge you, brother, you'll lina tak me man. Everybody doing Philadelphia hit me represented from you all old rocket Feller niggas hit me represented. So you know what I'm telling he's taking on and we're super fast. You need but lit the camels were looking now the camera said, and now I'm gonna You're not gonna take nothing from a man. You know this love, it's nothing guy's love. Love.
If any of y'all out there, the super facts, no bullshit, if y'all believe nor it's gonna wash me in the first I'm not gonna wash you. I'm gonna win. I'm not gonna wash You said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no different, it's gonna win. I'm not gonna wash wash you. Yeah, that was proper Ganda. You know what I mean listen for this is real life. You said, I'm trying to get I'm trying to get I'm trying get the check. He didn't talk crazy, he didn't. No, I don't donna win.
I'm gonna win. I'm gonna win for sure. What you mean and mean what you say, stand on that standing on that you called me p M. Don't come out. I don't nobody don't know who this I don't and I'm saying, back night, why the fund is movie doing this ship? I know what stands but I'm right. But he's like, chill get here. I did say chill. I say, you're listen. Let me start it up and me do what I can do. Let me get bringing to people here.
But it's too late though, because they got nigga. I got people and like I don't know, Nori got some junk, he got some joance. But we with with Dre say we're gonna see. Okay, I'm taking are all back. I know for fact out of hunted k large all cash right now, y'all gear me keep it a big we can go get it a right and scrow put it up. It's nothing super facts that's on the brin. It's you know, it's really not a bet because the thing is no no,
no thing about. There's there's no winner. There's no winner. They don't class a poser. No, that's not not between us. But to the mom when I grow rights versus at the end of the day, like when you see look at Bobby Brownie and you actually will I'm just telling yourself and I'm in Listen, they're not giving up the real numbers. Bro, this is what I'm trying to tell you. We say it's Spanish, eat that. What that means is listen to my brother, trust me, trust you, listen to winner.
Yeah yeah, but what I'm saying is the streets is not only talking about the botching there that shot slide through. They the Delpia. It's only for the Delpia that that one little sexy in America. W they got your back. I ain't gonna lie y'all the better you're getting the Rock Nation invite this year exactly. Please read ship. Please come on, come on the other the other white man, come on, come away for my case. I don't know I got a case for you. Listen because I'm gonna
wash you up. So I got I'm talking about the movies. But let me just say something because this is what it's really about. I wouldn't challenge nobody that I didn't think it was a credible opponent. I don't want no suckers on my motherfucker. Thank you for taking yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I really yeah, I'm going down with trans and I'm attacked the backboards or ship. Yes, my brother, I really do love you. I really got love for you. Man with you, and you know when you listen, you're gonna
finish this up. But and then we're gonna we're gonna handle our business that night. We're gonna also celebrate that night because you deserve celebration, just like you celebrated tonight. We're gonna up. I got lost, I got all right, okay, but then stay property three. This is really okay, let me ask you this one crap. This is one question and because we're gonna we're gonna wrap it up in this with then ten fifteen minutes. But this is one question right now. There was one time I believe you
just came home from jail. I think me. You and Dame got on the phone. We spoke about oh, stay property three, and then Dame hit us with the let's go to Japad China. You would not feeling that to filming Japan. Yeah, Like he was like, yo, let's just take it over there. That's call of crazy. No, it's not gonna wearing it out doog like state property. I didn't notice, Like even when all the movies, it's kids that know me as they don't even know my music.
They know Stu from Paper Soldiers liked that Bennie Segar who being from the movie Stay. They know the movie, and I think one of them movie Like when I was coming out, we had we had Juice, we had boys in the hood. Then you know its generation. Come on, you know they got Belly, they got you know, state Property is one of them, all Property one. Let's just see I didn't hate too. I like State Property too, because we were saying, I just I think the director
could have been better. I think it was more funny than Howard. Yeah, but that's how you know. You know why, you know why I appreciate it being more funny, It's because Belly is a great movie that's not funny, and the Hood ain't like that. The Hood got crackheads, the Hood got fucking frogs. You know what I'm saying that. You know what I'm saying, Like, so why the fund is they I didn't laughing Belly, not one time. So
I can't tell you Belly is a bad movie. I can tell you Belly is not or reality because when I'm in the hood, I'm laughing more than you know what I'm saying, like most of the time, like even if there's some smoke, like most people like lean norri alone, but I'm always laughing more than whatever. So that's the reason why I didn't appreciate If You and if You compare it to Stay Property one, which is a phenomenal movie.
I think it's up there with Belly. But it was the more of the funniness that and that's the reason why I felt like it got more more theaters then. Yeah, but what I said, A boy funny like I think I think I think Dane watch too much. What's that ship? Just lockstock and smoking barrel like off the overseas movies. Yeah, that's that's what I didn't like about, like the funny ship, like when we reacted, but I was walking like the directing part, like he was doing too much. The last
time people saw us together, you shot at me. It's very yeah, technically the last time you think. That's why when you posted to when we hung up on you, I said, he's not thinking you're supposed to post that you're supposed to post when he was shooting at me. Yeahs that next week, we got fres that next week. We used to give you the classic one, though, I gotta take him out in Philadelphia Freeway in the building.
It's a free rate. We was trying to get your roses too, man, Yes, yes, yes, hold one, it's still on for you. This is like the way, this is like the way in hold on, hold on Philadelphia. Where is the tiger bomb? But we got we got Japanese whiskey. Come on, let's do it. Come on you No, you want them when you asked for it, bro, come on you on. I wanted to see maybe. Okay, they can't be listen Nori. Man, you know when when when when I bought crap. I'm like, yo, you gotta funk with right,
That's right, that's right, your rea crap. It's the only two hash Spanish. They Nicka Riquez that really don't know Spanish, these little shot yo. Anyway, it's all love. We're gonna talk about the battle later. Right now, it's about giving motherfucking beatings his fucking flowers. That's what this show was. Yeah, yeah, I'm listen. Don't worry. I got jokes too. I'm gonna save me for the new You know what, I said, but um, but listen, man, I'm giving both of y'all,
you'all flowers. Hold on, hold on, hold on. You took the shot. Damn. He was right over there. Come on, hold on, So look this is your last shot. Don't worry about it. Yea, it is. Damn the scream. But we wait, we're getting drunk. We're getting Come on that half, just take half. I don't take a shot with you since Gator, just tack. That's what's on the long No no, I that night another one. Hold on, yo, pretty way. We're gonna give you your brosers. Yo, god, damnit, man,
thank you for checking in. Man, we got this on camera right boom. Yeah, and we're gonna have you on here too. Hold on, okay, so I only wanta keep them on alright, cool, let me tea freezing You know you're too bro see you in a minute. What I'm saying right now one of my favorite You're joint. I'm still giving your flowers, taking wear your flowers to that night.
That's what I'm taking back. Okay, let me flowers too, But I'm gonna remember okay, but we remember them days The Tooth album feature, Yeah, what was in your mind. What was you thinking about side? Remember them days? Ship, Remember them Days? It was good. It was like it was weird because that was like one of the last records I recorded on the Truth album. Wow, it was story about that rocket God damn Yo. I really was out of get a little bit. Yeah, because all right,
I turned in the album. So we gotta meet with def Jan Kesle. Okay. I don't even know if I still stay this ship's okay. So we're in the meeting. I turned in my album everybody there ja. I think my man Pocle went there with me. Poco, you shot out the Poco Yeah, my eight one from day one. He yo, I got a lot of stories. Poco. He's like Mr Lee. Mr Lee is a Dominican with a Chinese name, a black guy. Little Pocles, a black guy.
It's the same ship. Were in the meeting, Uh, So we turned in the album and playing the album liar your snaps and see he starts twee you can admit it, like all right, like I want to push like I didn't. It's weird because I didn't want I didn't want the Truth to be my first single. I wanted with your Life like or Ride for my Niggas to be the second, and it was like, nah, you need to reading on record. I'm like, but that ain't me, Like I want what's
your life like? Like that's the first let that come out. No, that's that's me. Okay, that's me on the truth. I want to with your life like. It was even a to me between that or a record that I did call right for my niggas. So, uh, we did the truth. They with Kanye my man did that bet easy. So we returned the album in but Lire said, I I didn't have no ready on records, so he started tweaking out. He was like, I got nothing that I could play on alreadio, So I don't know no better. I'm like,
man funck the radio this he's gonna love this ship. Man, what's your life like? Or right, that's the one. So I'm going for eve a guy, what's your life like? A rod for my niggers. So Leo starts snapping in the joint, so he said, uh so damn. It's like, no, you don't understand this. That in the third So they're pushing for the truth. This is the one. This is the one. So I'm like, all right, you know what I mean. I'm thinking that's just how I go. Whatever
they pick, that's what I gotta roll with. So lire and like, he don't got nothing that I could play on the radio. I need to radio record. So I'm like, man, I ain't you know from hearing the language radio driven up? Yeah, So I don't even know about none of that ship. So I don't know the language and none of that. All I know is that man funk that crossover ship, you know what I mean. I'm yeah, momoking, Yeah, I'm coming from the hood. I'm like, and I'm not crossing over.
I'm not doing that ship. And he was like, listen, I'm not. So Leod was like, you listen, I don't want you to cross I'm not asking you to go hammer. You know what I mean. Ship. I don't even know if you could spell hammer. Yeah. Leo's a hardscoy, So I don't know who Leo is at the time. You don't know. So when he said that, I looked at my man Poco. I'm like, you know, we're about to roll. I'm like, you gonna go start the car. Oh, PoCA ain't about the plugger, huh. So when he said I'm not, Yo,
what you mean. I don't know who lee or is. I don't even know who the why are we even talking to him? So it's like, I'm not asking you to be Hammer. Should I don't even know if you could fuck the spell hammer? He's about mc hammer. Yeah, he said, I'm not asking me talk to you like, let you know, I don't even know. He said, I'm not asking you to be Hammer. I'm not asking He was like, Ship, I don't even know if you could spouse him. I said, you're gonna start the car, so
I was were leaving up. I'm like, yo, what the fun are you talking? Soon? Like, I don't know, but it's not Leo pulled out. Oh yeah for Thedelphia. Niggas is horrible days. I'm just just going you pulled out on Leo cold. Yeah, No, they're super fast. You talk to me. No, no, continued, It's just the story. This is the man literally trying to save it. Left and I didn't know he was talking a little bit crazy. That's why Jay was like, nah, I ain't never sped.
They don't want to be a sponsible. I don't just say okay, it's my last question, Like I'm not my damn like, no, I see what you do. You need to buy life right now with you because I'm thinking like you disrespected me, Like I'm like chart, like I'm like you, I just didn't know nobot, Like come on, bro, I'm a I think it's him out take me the rock and fo I'm trying to go to your dog fight, right. Uh, I ain't never no better, I ain't know one of
the craziest. This is the craziest, right, And then if we're gonna ended it with this, I apologize Lee or I was young. It's not the first time we all got pulled out on them, to be honest. Yeah, you're about that life all right? But um Uma has it right, jay Ta Dave Pepper, spray all Kelly, this is what happened. This is this is selectively right. I don't know if just the truth. I don't know, if we don't know, if that you but then all of a sudden, being's
got a single Kelly, Yeah, what what's what's that? Like? Was people looking into the office and Manuel well because I know she chief helped produced the video, right, Yeah, so that situation, um I was rocking with some producers for Philly super super super producers. I don't know why they don't get the credit that day or out there, Dre the dial um got a big, draming dialog. This is this is the people that gave y'all that produced
Confessions album Butterflies. Michael Jackson, Uh, Confessions, Yeah I should, Yeah, yeah, I should. Yeah, like super producing. So I'm locked up at the time before you know, are like, I'm big. R Kelly fame, you know what I mean. Kelly was Home team before he was locked up. Yeah, they was going on. He was home. I'm this bestable girl. I'm like, that was the tour that I had to sit in the jail like funk I was don't have money. Yeah,
I missed it. I missed it. So at me, I'm not thinking, you know, I got people like, yo, you gotta get a record, you need a record that So I'm away. I don't know about what's going on with them on the road, with R. Kelly and and all this ship. I'm locked up. I'm not thinking about you know what i mean, I'm five seving six one three zero six six, you know what i mean. I'm gonna I'm gonna joy. So whatever they had going on. I
don't know. I don't know why. There's no like Instagram back there, there's no gram is no none of that. So all I know I would you know, I had an opportunity to do a record with R. Kelly. I didn't insult like he sought. You know, I had an opportunity to do that so bad. We recorded the record so in my perfect world, and the people wasn't around, like, Yo, that's big. You gotta record with R. You flew to
Chicago to the front video. Yeah, the role, so you got a Rockefeller didn't want to pay for the record. This trade that I remember going back and forth on the phone with Jay like, but it didn't hit me there. They had the bullsh going on. He got a case on him until afterwards, until afterwards when he dropped the album, and it was like, oh ship, I fucked up? Because JA was like, uh, what he's saying? Man? In one
of the drinks, she said, huh he said. The singer Rob called the police on me, and y'all went out and cop to see them. I didn't catch that, catch that. I catch everything. What record is this, sir? Uh? One of them? Uh? What the funda? You got me? Threats, but you don't do you talk about you because you ain't copy see did you or no? But I did a record with him, but you didn't. Do you talk about you? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, like just not in not in a mollest way, but like Jay smooth like that,
like you know, yo, dope ship. Um took me years to understand that. That's why I said, you know, I smile laughed by my damn my funk because I hold myself accountable just for what I um my ship. But still, you know what I mean, I don't, I don't. I don't regret anything. I don't take nothing back, you know what I mean. I'm a man. I stand on what I stand on. I still got principles and ship that I lived by. And that's just how it's come up. Jade so slipt, he's so smooth with it like and
for exactly. That's why I say he was talking to me when it's like he said a line on the record, right, Uh, And I was hot for a couple of years, like he said, Uh, one of the blue prints and beings. I ain't trying to change you. Just give you some game to make the transition from the streets to the fame at that time, I was I got that in my notes. That was awesome about correct question. Okay, something you're going with it is now you're like NASA John
mr me. Yeah. Like after when he when he said that, okay, don't tell me he was offended. I was totally offended. I'm gonna tell you why because we didn't have that conversation. M hold on, let me let me fit. We didn't have a conversation. So when I heard a record and I'm hearing like bleak, you went head away and I'm like, damn, all right. Then it comes to me. It's like you know what I mean, I'm rotting for the rocking. I
ain't trying to change. You just gave you some game to make the transition from the streets to the fan. And I'm like, you try to give me the game. Like we sitting and I'm I'm sick about that ship. But it took a minute for me to realize with the game on that record, that was game right there, Like yo, that was it because it wasn't like he didn't say that it was the same because Leo could have been coming to you on the strip of Jack Listen, like what I'm saying is that that line beings. I
ain't trying to change you. Just give you some game and make the transition from from from the outside looking. Then when people hear that, they you get the perception that Jay is telling me, Yo, you gotta do this. You gotta chill, you gotta do this. Your only problem you never had that. I had the secret commensa that you never had the conversation that you might think we had because you hear that, but you the same. That was the conversation, you know that one the same thing.
So we had him on here what we said as long as man he blee was like, yo, man, I don't like that. Yeah, so wild. That was that. That was the game, the burn out, you know what I mean, I'm in my feelings like I'm do you mean you ain't like? That was the game. And that's why he said beans to tell you if he wasn't in his feelings. Yeah, yeah, I don't, don't. I don't know, y'all. Rocket Front of Stories. It's raking because it's real ship. It's real. It's real ship.
Ain't like little bullshit. It's real Like to me, no, it is not like like I wear that ship. Like you know, when you google you, I learned this from pit Bull. You're more famous than Banbi sues the other Babi sees the other basis gangster the gangster when the gangster. Yeah, when you google Beanie Segul, you come up first. I am the only Bani sees. But that was the single part that was supposed to come off. That's and the fact is that this is thinking about your conversemens, don't
forget about it. Come on, we're more accomplished. I feel like you want another shot just to being honest, I'm like a tiny man. You don't want to dream a little bit, a little bit, a little bit to listen man, huh yeah, I mean I just want I just want you to have fun. But but beings, you know, all jokes aside um, one of the people out of mire. You want the people where you want the people that
always came around. We've always been genuine. It's probably just you DMX and Scarface's man and um, you know immediately kind of thought of you when the DMX ship happened. Indirectly, you know what I'm saying, because of the real camaraderie that we had between the four of us. And you know that's why I said, you know, come outside to take the truth. And I said, I know I said it earlier, but it's like, you know, right now is the time for us, man, you know what I'm saying
for all of us. You know, um, you know there was a time but we didn't respect our older brothers. And I was a part of that. You know, the people that came before us, I they didn't give me love. I didn't want to. I didn't give a about giving them love. This is the older stakes spence about hip hop,
and right now I'm seeing it changed. I'm seeing people actually want to listen to us, want to just you know, get game from the O G s. And you know, this show was one of the uh examples of that where people actually like, you know, I'll meet a new young boy every day, like, man, I know you're gonna let me on the on the show, but I mean I watched this, this is this is not so as a friend, as a brother. I don't know how long. This is a beautiful thing that we guys gonna last.
But it would not have been complete without having on on here because his his his what's what was so fucked up? About our people. For five years, I've been digging you up, saying how much I wanted you on the show, so how much? And the one time I said something that was different about this show, you're here. Yeah, yeah,
that's crazy. Just thinking about it and listen, this is documented for five six years, every time I had the person for Philly, Yo, your beaches, when you at your pull up, pull up, saying nothing more positive ship right, Just think this is real talk. Look, anybody whoever watched Drink Champs, whoever watched the Philly episode of Drink Champs, can I actually pull this up? This is real talk. And the one time I just was, you know, playing to see if I could actually get and then this
is all this. But guess what, they didn't know The joke was on them. They didn't know that I was calling you and saying, this is exactly what we're gonna do. We're gonna because we're still gonna battle yea yeah, yeah, yeah, we're still gonna. But to think about it is I also want to recognize to ourselves how fucked up sometimes our way of thinking is. Yeah, is that I can say for five years, for X years, your bees, yo, go come to the show, bro, we need you on
the show, so suss. But the one time I say anything negative, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, bass, we don't get to you later. You got a whole segment. Brother, you're gonna relaxt and you know why. Let me just tell you something and I would be honest. The room about Philly is really don't stick together. The room about
Philly is y'all got beef with everybody. And if I was the one time for two thousand and twenty one that Philly stood in carragerie, I don't even know what that word means, but I know of me standing together, and I know I ain't pronounced it right, but just roll with me. If that's the one time I feel
I fully felt great. I fully felt great. I'm sitting there at a fitter and all the young boys from Philly was like, yo, man, no order to bumper, and it was all Philly, and I wanted to say the one time I got to see y'all standing together was what's what's close to me? And I don't give a fun You're all wrong, but I'm just playing. I was
playing because I'm just playing on some real ship. I really, I really love the fact that everyone from old rocket Feller to middle rocket Feller to new rocket Feller came out from just plade to all these people, and and I'm gonna tell you something, that moment wasn't about me at all. That moment was about giving you your flowers. This is what we this is what we do. I know it was a little like bugged out the way
it happened, But let me just tell you something. People, Now, that's cool, that's cool because you know why, you know why. That's our people. People wouldn't recognize me from picking you up for five years, for six years, and I promise you, I'm looking at you. I can't even I can't even break eye contact. That's documented, well documented. Beach. Come up here, Beach. I'm working with you, Beach. I want to give my platform to you, to you. No one paid attention for
what I said, tell bees to come outside. Everybody said bees come outside. So guess what if that's the way I hadn't do it, And that's the way I gotta get to us to make some motherfucking money. Fucking come outside and guess what, guess what comes side. I gotta stop saying the word nigga I don't like that. I don't don't want to say the word nigga. But guess what,
you came outside and we're having fun. So this episode is about you, and I'm not saying nothing else into that night on the party, and I feel like you would come out with like Eddie Murphy went, bread leather arm, are you going? Are you coming up with red leather arm? Made some noise for Noiri, Even putting in South in the funt of your gun like that takes some like you could have just camera. Yeah, you could have pulled me to camera first. That might have been your best
back listen to tell the truth. They actually was pushing me towards camera, and that's why I went, you know, I think it's about to get crazy. Let's get it. Let's get you. It's about to get crazy. Let me just ask you. Let me just ask you. But if you was to take jay z records out, your can stop excuses. Don't do that. You can have it. You can have it, you can have it, you can have
you can have take records with you. But if you think it was kidding me what I'm saying, what we do, it's no, that's not That's all that's still that's what we do. Is not a jay Z record. First, that's a Freeway record. That's not a jay Z Records. The freewere Yeah, that was that. If it's just your records doing that. See what you're doing right now, what you're doing, because I want you to. You're coming to my gym and you're trying to watch this farm for the fight.
We ain't doing that. But I'll be honest, I don't I don't need it. I wouldn't wreck it that I got went easy. Okay? Is this a bad? Is that that same? Honey? Honey dos okay? Cash money? I'll promise you. No jay Z Records agreeing with you right now? She looks j Records, house comes records out jay Records, No Jakes recor need to stop this man, No jay Records. Let's let's honey, I made it, said jay Z was early on for ReBs. Already know I made for Round.
I made for Round. So it's difference. So you gotta saying you gotta way too much time on your chance and you swicide you gotta keep you over there right now. I'm sorry, I'm sorry you you you're talking about production. No, no, no Jay z. No, but you keep saying for round. No, No, He's just say for a round. He said for my man arrested development ship. You might sink a ship wrong. Your means fun that I don't give a fun. But listen, you funked up with saying you're gonna take your mom
jay Z's records. I know I said I could know, you said you will? Could you? Will you related the way we wanted to do it. Let me ask you this, Yes, if I don't use no records with jay Z, would you use no Wreckers produced by Pharrell? No? Because that's different because you know why. Let me tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why. Because your records will be advantage to you because of the person who he was price that had. I've not been who Pharrell might not
be who he was. So what I'm saying isn't do can't say that duction is different. That's like me saying, don't use no Gurug or no jay You know what ese like me saying. That's like me saying I can't use no Kanye westing? Do you not know your first place? That's what we're saying it for one For me, Kanye West, wait will be there. I wish, Yeah, I never use Kanye. Use Kanye espuch as you want, you can have it. You just don't want you to use Jake for you. I called for you, make sure you were ye zs
and everything. That night I pass you use Kande, No jay Z side, no your side. I don't even know. I would play golf, my brother. I'm a I'm a holy hood nigg I don't know. I don't have no handicap. But how can you say that no where? I suggested? He he agreed. I said, y'all agree, I don't agree. You didn't agree. You take out a hundred thousand No jay Z records. I'll tell you we got it on film.
All your feeling Niggers were sweating. It was like niggers, wrong person of no j Z right and take all that ship away, take on albums like little free to take my albums away. I don't have an album there. I don't have twenty albums worth a street saying this, my man, I'm gonna be honest. I don't even know what my mix tapes. Ship is two years mix tape, His mix tape is run over, Yo. This is the this is the best we can ship can we use mixtape? Ship all your records? Let me use all your records.
But I'm saying you took that side back. That's a side back me and my man right where you going? Band from TV? Better be your first uh song than because if I do thousand some bars, you can't even do that. What's a band from your song? A thousand bars? Ye? Bet? Yeah? Nobody really remembers that. I'm just being honest. Are you kicking me in? Only you that signed you? That's it. It's like, yeah, it was a classic beat. It was a classic. It's what I came to drink. It was
a classic song. We got signed over it. God bless you. But that was it. That's where it stopped. You didn't get all right. Listens, stand up Bobby Smurder to joint when you hear Bobby fresh my turn on Bobby Smurder. You never heard Bobby Smurder without fresh My Tanner Again, you didn't do that the bad from TV. I'm sorry, Are you kidding me? No? I'm not. I'm serious. But you did good. You got over you know what? You know what I got signed on for? What's the what's
the bust of Rhymes? Record? Put your hands with my eyes. Yeah, okay that beat. Y'all went crazy in the offers over that. That what got me signed. That's nice. I just dragged the ship out of that thousand believe, I believe, and I got the footage of that day. What I mean, we will leave you run a thousand bars who love one more trunk include going crazy called jack. I got that footage. We're gonna cause they get that footage. We got you brother, get that footage. But let's let's let's
stick to the original subject. I love that. I love that originally subject it's called Swiss. I don't know, it's already been called make it happen. It's already been even made happen. Don't worry about it. You're good. I'm with you, susting, trusting. Is I flying out of her mind? No? No, I want it just as much as in fact, I welcomed this, So trust me with it. And it ain't even you know, it's not your neither. I was two years without beefing with nobody. So that's the reason why I wanted to
like to have a little bit of beat. Like I'm like, you know, peoples, the old tep and hanging out with else for two years something, so we understand why you got your platforms about nine euse I counted them nine posted I only did once and now it's your turn. But let me tell you something being let me get back to that, and this is a real talk. I really funk with you. I really got love for you. I'd love to do this battle, I really do. But
besides that, uh, let's get back to drink Champs. I really I don't want to battle somebody that's a suck. I want to battle somebody that's real. You don't want to battle someone because if your opponent is a sucker, then it makes you a sucker out there. That's fact. Because I don't want did I read this? I just said you can't judge the weight of a man by who was friends is, but by who's in this, who go up against. We're not enemies. No, we're not in this.
You know we're gonna be in it. Yeah, I wanted to do. I want to I want to do everything. We're gonna do that today. Yeah for the blows. For the blows, but stick you back to the hat in the hand. Drink Champs about giving your flowers and I'm gonna be honest. You wanted the dues that deserve flowers. You wanted the dudes that it really a pioneer the game. And that's the reason why I called you out like that because I wanted I wanted the people to buy
into it, and they did. And we're gonna do this ship like a mom They're looking for me and we're looking for them. They're gonna come outside. We're gonna trap like a month that movie that's from that's from the bench Man. My GAP's like, they're looking for me and I'm looking for them, and they tell me to come outside and we gonna trap like a motherfucker. So that's what's happening. Uh, I were looking for you, you're looking for me. Let's get it, and we're gonna go outside
and we're gonna trap like a motherfucker again. But it's all on the spirit of hip hop because I just want you to know I really, really really got love for you, and you really need something for me that you don't really know is you kind of made me an actor. I did not want to do Pay the Fall. I did not want to do Stay Property too. I did not want to do Paper Soldiers. But when I got presented to do stay property too. When Pete Crack
got locked up. You could have easily said, funck Norri, he's not team, he's a outside he's or whatever whatever. But you did, you know you you told me to come outside that time. So this is my turn to telling you to come outside. But you really did, because you could have said, funck Norri hire a regular Puerto Rican. That's black Lane Pedro. That was the role was. And I read it and I got with the director or the writer and I said, the only problem is this.
You gotta be about me like and then they came and they read. But you you could have hated. You could have said fuck him. You could have said, we ain't dealing with that, but you did so in that sense, I feel like I owe you. So that's why we're out here and we're gonna we're gonna still rumbling the jump now. But I tell you it's a respectful way. I love you with you, bro with you. That's what's
supposed to happen. Will Will Will reward fish for swimming.
