So thet me so so we went into the studio and we should start making little free styles. Right. Clue made it open because he gave us the opportunity to like to get on these tapes. Right, I'm still not really taking it serious, just like because everybody's going

their way up. There's nobody that's really you know what I'm saying. It's kind of different when you when your men, like when you spend time with somebody from more and they become famous. I'm just still my man from a little I'm just supposed to still be my man. Certain things change in life. We totally understand that. But at that one point, do I look at you as like that? Because I got plenty of stories of like why you're

becoming this stall? We're still right here and if you're my man, I'm playing different roles for you that serious. But didn't know. I didn't know until I see all these other rappers I got told you I was coming from being locked up and remember that, so I didn't really care what it is. They're becoming, they're becoming stars there their own people in their own right. And he wasn't credit on the record in the official album. Not No, that's not the truth. He wasn't credited for album Love My Life. He was being one be stuck on that game. Keep behind the real

fact that I was. So I was trying to figure out how this guy, this guy right here was surviving all the ship because I come from the ship and this motherfucker came in at every time and delivered such an energy and such a ship that I always went home like scratching my head, like, Yo, how to thank your day? of million percent Nature's session. So because I flew out on my own and when I flew there, his Nature's session, and that's how I'm leaving became. And I always felt like the brol could have been like, man, funk this other dude. Let him get out this fucking session. You know what I'm saying. Like when the Beatles played Ilied played to be I know this obviously me trappeds his credit?

Did I believes to be your record? I think he was running through beats, running through beast they trying to because when we start, can we talking about firm Ship? In my opinion, the firm Ship was contractually set up to kind of like crash right, meaning when I said that, because everybody was on different labels when they reached this peak and they decided to put the album out on Interscope Records, where nobody was on in the Scope Records labels.

So the labels say, hell, no, you're not gonna deliver album. Give it to this label right here, that's not us and make money for us. Here's your stipulation. You can only be on a certain amount of records. You can only probably be on three records. So if you listen to the album, the person that's not signed filling all the void, which happened to be me. So the outside people looked at it if it was like my album, you, I mean from from from the way that it was labeled.

You couldn't just say it was the firm. You have to say it's nas Asy Foxy Brown presents the front right. And since they did that, and Sony was like, nah, you're not nas. You can't deliver another album to in the scope. You gotta kind of do this, Yeah, you gotta, you gotta do this our way. So I was the person that filled in the gap. If it was probably called Mega at the time, it might have been called Mega. But if Omega wasn't on depth him and they might

have said the same ship too. I didn't have no paperwork. So at this time I'm filling in records and I'm vibing with this guy. I got stories with my first time in California with this guy. Remember, I remember one time I was in the studio and these guys left me right him and Jungle left me, and then they came back into the studio while I'm still in there right in the record with brand new sneakers and branding right,

to Compton. I want to see Compton. I don't care if I'm nothing else right, And Jungle goes to this party with the same sekers on and the same basketball jerseys on. Mean why the whole party got on suits and ties. And this guy goes to party in Compton comes back talking about, Yo, these guys that shower caps on them. Everyone he wanted to know. I used to go. I said, what, I want to go and see the

actual woods. He's like, party, I want to go to those, That's what I mean, Like, Yo, this is some real this is my brother right here. I don't remember what. They're sitting the corners with shower cap. I was like, New York, never heard of no ship like that. I love it. I love so. But let's just tell these guys right, so we walk in. He was able to end the rack and like, you know, go outside the storylines and beat somebody up and do you know you know, you know, so when they had so when they had the when they made the soundtrack, they had to look for hip hop artists and him and me. But what had happened was the album was finished in so a lot of the so a lot of the songs that came

out on the album were actually heard already. They were they were they wound up on mixtapes without the choruses on them, and and and you know, I understand that the game was kind of a little little tricky. It was tricky. So when we put the album out, the songs was already two years old. And so I'm trying to convince the people that it's just dope, and um.

We had a lot of problems when it came down to create my first album because it was sample clearances, it was, it was, it was songs that was released premature, it was, it was. It was a lot of you know, crazy ship. So when we put the album out, it was already fighting the battle because the songs had already been heard and some of the songs that I was banking on was either wasn't cleared or they was released

or whatever.
