His Drink Chas motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper, he's screed is your boy in? Or he's a Miami hippop pioneer? What Up is d J e f N? Together they drinking up with some of the biggest players, you know, I mean in the most professional, unprofessional podcast and yet number one sorts for drunk fast drinks, motherfuckings New Year's Eve, that's it's time for drink Champs. Drink up, motherfuck mother. What a good vie. Hopefully want this to be. This is your boy? What up is d J e
f N? This is drink Chance, motherfucker. Yeah, y'all makes up and right now. I love doing these episodes. When you have you know, artists extorterin there, then you have the manager extroter their you know what ianth I'm saying, the person that can talk about in front of the scenes and the person that can talk about behind the scenes. The person they gonna talk about what it took to get them in front of that camera, and the person is god talk about what it takes to get that
person in front of camera. I love this combination of artists. You know, our management role I love. These two brothers right here. One is a relatingist, we smoking advocate, got ten ten independent albums, got albums with all type with motherfucker's. I can't even name so many because he's got so many. He got more and it works. Damn. He was the first person to work with can sell them. You know, understand I'm saying. I called him the East Coast. I
called him to New York snoop doll. You know what I'm saying. Get you don't know what motherfucker's smoked up. And the other one, you guys, the manager extorter there, the man is top of the you know, damn there running cinematic, doing what you gotta do, bringing artists from everywhere, bringing them together and making them working, and not only making them work and having them work, but making them make some money. Take I think both drink Chams alumni.
I think you you briefly. I was on briefly in New York. Yeah, no, man, you've been on camera. Dri You've just been I think Christmas Special we made Christmas on But I've been on the set of A two hundred times. But yes, yes, yes, so hope we're gonna start with you, right being's watched by the way, I mean a lot, you know what I mean, Like I
was glad somebody pointed out that little thank you. Let's start with you, right, because I remember seeing this blog right and it said this guy was saying, Yeah, before you want me to manage, you, think about what you're asking me, right, And he's like, yo, because you're asking me to put yourself before me. You're asking me to think about you before I think about my kids. You asked me to think about you before I think about
my family. Anything like that. So being sure when you ask somebody for management, and I thought that that was real, real, real, honorable, true. But it's also a side that artists don't see. So it's a two part question. Well, let's let's start in the one part of it is that accurate statement. Because let's say I'm managing you and I got plans to go out with my wife and my kids, and you say, oh, hove, I got emergency. You gotta come to the studio. Guys, I can't go. I gotta go full up on nor
you gotta do. You know what I'm saying. So being a manager, yourselfless, you put your artists before yourself because that's the role of the job. Goddamn it, goddamn now smoked. This is that like, it's how how was it with you when you did you start out? You have management or that wasn't not something? Um? Well shoot, how I
started out? I ain't originally have management. UM. Me and Johnny came in together, Me and Johnny Schife right Cinematic, So you know, I helped start Cinematic with Johnny, which, um, which tied into being an owner of the Smokers Club, a tour that we started at south By Southwest. I mean so that okay, okay, I thought that was a part of I knew you started it, but I thought that was south By Southwest, So that's we launched it
at south By on nine. Um, we had Devin to do headline it, and under Devin was Smokers Club, all right, So the Smokers Club is basically our breakfast club of pot smokers. UM. The tour started with me currency and Big Creek Um being Cornerboy paint Um, and you know, gradually it extended to Juicy j Um, Joe Be, Badass, Eppisode Be Real, Met the Man, Red Man, Um Burner. The list goes on. But uh, you know, it's something we just started as just our crewe, you know what
I mean. Niggas just always smoked together. We smoked the same type of mar wanna keep for me on? You know. It was just something that we could start for us by us, and it just started as just as an idea on shaped roof, just you know, we just smoke this club named the show at south By that and then it turned into a south By the first two thousand nine. That's pretty much our drinking traps. So it
was just a crew just sitting around. He would be playing poker and I would be recorded, And if you really think about it, poker and recording, it's kind of like the same time. So what are you doing that coup point? Alright? Cool in the background? Alright, cool? All right? So yeah, so that's that's crazy. So all right, spoke. What's them moving on? How did you in currency even link up? Well, me and Spitter? Funny ship is I met Spitter with Spitter with smoking blunts. He's probably gonna
hate this. No, we're gonna spin into that into that. But um I met Spit, I want to say, because he'd go on a because you don't know, I was into that, so I mess Spitting in two thousand and eight when he was on the Freshman cover, I met him through Mickey Facts. Mickey had a session and he had he had spit of the he had Corey guns there. You had a few people there and we had cut a racket prematurely. Um. And then maybe like a year and a half later going to d D one seventy
two shot out to Dame Dash. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's one of my mentors. Relink with Spitter, And this is the time he was living in New York. Ain't becoming less crazy nowadays, he's craziest sane. It's one of those craziest sane. You know what I mean. You know when he was telling the truth, he was yellow so much passionate. Yeah, but I don't want to keep going so um. So that was around the time he was living in New York and ship and you know, I always know where
the weed is at all, got it? So that was our bond, smoking weed and eating weed brown And a lot of niggas think New York don't got good weed. Like a lot of people like like if you don't know, that's the only l a niggas that that feel like that just now he is though niggas is weed snob, so snob weed snobs all right, so on to you know, we call this thing called fan weed, right with Sometimes the fans got good weed, and then sometimes they got
weed which is whatever they think is good. But that might not fit criteria, so that would be the weed that would be like, you know, give it to the homies or or whatever. But when I say weed snobs, we did niggas that we're gonna turn the hook. We're gonna turn our nose up. If the weed ain't right, we might send you back with the weed. Throw a couple of times dudes through weed to me on stage and yeah, I'm never worried about smoking whatever. Some one
just throws out. Can't give me nothing. But but it was like a criminal, like a girl throwing panties on stage, Like at first, let you say something when I first. You gotta realize when I first was going on stage and people don't read at me, this is there. Coming to Miami another going to Atlanta um strip club ship was kind of corny to us. So throwing our culture that's our court. But I didn't know that at the time. So meeting on stage. A person don't want anything at me.
I like, the first time I want to do wead at me. We beat the ship out to do like we were in the crowd whom he was like a strip no, because it's the same thing you're doing. So it was it wasn't so he said, you look at what I do. And then we looked and I was like, oh, court to pan, okay, this is dack, you know what I mean. But but it's it's something that that that is different. But okay, I'm sorry because because you got me reminiscing this ship. So you know that's that's just
the definition of weeds. Not for us. It's a person who knows it. We know it. And if you come with something that's not it with some funny names and some ship you want to name, that's not even gonna send you back with it. Let me tell your funny story man and styles p right, that's another weed SnO, okay, lit right, we get, we get. I don't know what change, so let me tell you. So we all we go
to HT Times Cannabis Cup Award. Right, so we're the judges, right, me and stole A. Everybody else is not look like us. So we go to the Hot Times mansion. And the Hot Times Mansion was ill because the higher you got in the mansion, it was like a seventh floor mansion. And Answerdam, You've been the answer them Asterdam was a small She's like that. So but the higher you got, the small of the room, Scott, but the more potent this ship was. So they had dabs back and like
this is a fact, like like fifty years ago. Anyway, this is probably like the only time I got mad at styles people Styles being sitting there looking at we like inspect the gadget and you know, I don't know why, maybe mad, but I was just looking like, yeah, we hunt and we don't keeping moving. I was like, I'm shot. He said, your Norri, I'm taking my job. Sious and he did serious, was like and then he was He
kept saying, I'm trying to be invited back. But now she is crazy because at some point it goes from just wanting to get high to wanting a feeling like it's at a certain point like I like a sour o g feeling right here and there I can do my flavors to the runts, to the CERTs, to the to the cookies of what I'm but predominantly, if I could pick, I'd like to keep my lungs old school, like the sour of the old geez. So, so how is it with you saying? I mean I'm an old
g guy, you know what I mean? And I still smoke sour from time to time if some good sour coming around, I found no good sour from long time. Next time you come up top, I got yeah, no, so um, yeah, you know I funk with the flavors every now and then too. But for me, you know, runs with funk with runs and I you know, I funk with me and I funk with ain't about Nick,
ain'tbody over there. But um, you know, when it comes to the funny names and ship outside of the ones you feel me, it's like nigga, we could just name some weed. We can name this weed right now, get a bag marketed, and it's it's whatever we say. You don't spoke up, o G. That's the first one. But my second one is Jesus told. Now, Jesus told, just make sure the packaging is good and out right. Now they just want the bag. You want me to bring it?
You want me. Look, I don't. I don't want to pick up your hall on niggers too much, but I'm gonna be honest. You know, the first time I've ever seen we marketed chice bubbs. It was a spot called three Wise Men. I can't tell if it was a Hunting forty three or hunting forty kind of rising. Maybe we're gonna fall off word. I've never seen this. I never that was this, but there was a spot called
three Wise Men. This is what Biggie got machine gun funk from what they used to do was everyone had twenty bags, dimebags whatever they used to just give you, I know, like a fortune cookie. So we used to say machine gun funk on it, or like Buddha Buddha. So that was like the first marketing. So they had the same exact ship that what's your COLDA had them one four nine or what's you called it had a hunt four when you come up with dry burn Bridge. That's the same exact sh But the fact was they
took time out. It wrote me a note. I kept coming back just for that. And then who was pick up your Heart? Yeah that's the next the very next person who marketed weed that everyone is copying off of now. No dis respect to everyone, from cookies to runs to everybody, all of them. I know everybody. But if they didn't really know the history that branching bag, you couldn't duplicate that, can you remember? Let me just tell you something. Let me just tell you something. Listen to me. You couldn't
bull it. You could not go to Chinatown whenever. However he did it, they could not. And if you did it, you it looked at it looked at through gazing, like the way his bag one, this ship was. This bag was so crazy. This I've never told this story before. Pone, I'm sorry. I'm ready bones in jail. I literally can't see my man in jail. I can if I wanted to. So I'm lit, though I get licked up. I get lit, you know, So I'm like, I I want to know anyway. So what I couldn't do is keep it shortly laced.
So I told her. The one thing I didn't tell her was to take it out the bags. So the next time the chicken showed me, she was like, yo, that ship cut my whole ship up. Because she must have took the ship and not take it. She left it in the triangles. That ship got on y'all. I mean, what kind of let just this is how, this is how, this is the first time. I kind of think that I was being spiked because it was one time I woke up. I had no bud. Wait, did they spiked
your weed? I thought I thought I was bit spiked because I won't got I had no bud, have money on me. Everybody in my street like yo, yo, you want some, but I'm like nah. I waited for our cab. I went all the way to a hundred and fifty first Street at satan Nick before I smoked. Yeah, he was on another type of time and it was late and it was brown on the weed. He had the tostic It wasn't always green the top not talking to It's called tostick. And then he had the green. I
never remember what the green was. I was suggested was Joe, but Branson still out there. We're gonna get him on the show. Branson got the juice bar right now to and he got his own. Fampaigne got his own still got tiger bone. To another person in that conversation, I want to say that you know I'm market and at least for me, is the person and that put me on to real weed for real, and that Shice Bubbs because because because at first I thought you and See
Bubbs was a group that was under dip set. That's what I thought, because that's what I first seen you at right right rightly see now, sh Shics had Purple City, which was his own movement with Kasa a um a mafia. I was just a young nigger that used to be around, right and I was a part of a group smoking
numbers at this time, just doing my work. I mean, this was what this was what Johnny, This is just me, you know, just trying to find my footing, and Johnny linked me with Shice, and Shice took a liking to me. So I want to I was Purple City, but it was like I was a little man. I was a little and that's what it in a cruil city, okay.
And Purple City to me is stip set, so right right, right right right, And this is before and this is this is before I knew Jim and Camp, you know, so I was still an see me, I would think all of your hall of niggas just know each other, like by default. I think y'all just took at this point or you didn't know them at that I didn't know them at this thought in my mind you Max b Cam oh, y'all was in the same home room
punishing around that time. I used to be around Max because Max used to be and the sessions with Shice, you know what I mean, and shooting the knick Knack video and all that ship Like I was there for the Trap Nigger video, just sitting behind the scenes seeing how she was moving, wanting to be extra in the video, just to be in it, you know. But that was, you know, part of my dream ventus frames on what are those those pieces are? John Paul got to you right?
Come on looking at my so bang you you're working on your own all right immediately right? You know what, I'll wait for that for the shot, but you are, so how do you go from We're gonna gonna do some shots, Lea's around, Oh he's outside. I feel like he's doing a little bumball. So so how do you even even I got I got a bunch of management questions we actually got this Thursday, We're supposed to have
Eric Knix and James Cruise come up and kick some bolly. Now, um one thing that I noticed, right, I didn't know how much a headache artists for That's what I like. I wanted to do that. And I technically can't get mad at any artists because there's not one thing that they've done but I have not done. So I technically gotta shut the funk up. But how is that keeping patience? How is that? And and okay, go ahead. I mean it's like it's like anything you do, you gotta know
what you're signing up for. And every artist is different. The way um and what this is't not the way and with is not the way I am with styles. Every artist is different management it is not like a broad thing is ala Carman. So the things you may need for me, he might not need. I might have to call you every morning at seven a week. You up to go over business, you know what I'm saying. So you just gotta know your personnel and just kind of like it's like having children almost you know, you
know what Noah likes? You know what? You know? What do you keep your clients out to a minimum because you can't spread yourself to things. You see, Now, I'm part of a management company. I'm the president of cinematic management. So I have other managers under me, so it's like delegation. I learned delegation. So all right, you go with this artist, but I'm gonna still call and check and make sure
everything is running smooth. So is it about knowing the staff too, because what if you put somebody with with deer that that don't smoke and like he just knowing your personnel not to send nobody else who does for me. If it's somebody who don't smoke, it's not gonna work. Well, you know what I'm saying. So for sudden with this, I'll try to go or he'll handle it on his own,
you know what I'm saying. Styles somebody like I don't book him a hotel and don't get a balcony because he got some mot make sure they got vegan options for you know what I'm saying. So you just got to know your person now. Like one time I um I walked in the room. We we this is like the no smoking policy just started. Everyone in death Jam was like, yo, don't smoke in your fucking rooms. Put
you so everybody, we're all on point. Then DMX teas to be downstairs, like you know what you're doing checking the mouthtop But I don't know, keep going to the DMX, moving this movie like the cigarette. I'm like that, I'm not ten times flatinum trying to do that. But um so, now so now now what is there? Were crying? Miss right? If you what is there a difference from working with a new artist, um then working with the elder Statesman? Because the Elder Statesman been through it before. He he's
not getting too super excited about new ship. You know what to bring to him, like he has a certain standard with a new artist, like you kind of gotta hold his hand and walk him through everything. You try to be at everything, every first, every first award show, every plaque ceremony. Older guy, like you know, he knows what he likes, he knows what to do with most, most most, most of all, he wants ship to be routine. Who's the most improved artist? Who happen? Like who's the
artist that you worked with? And he was like, I'll never work with again? And then you wind up saying you know what he is? All I don't know? And there's there's gotta be pros and constant like the old artists could be more stubborn than the young yards. They're more stuck in their ways. So it's like you're trying to change somebody behavior that has been used to first class flights and the remote and the rich cars and for twenty years, and you were like, yo, no, not
this budget. You manage the artists now that's from the era in the nineties that had the budgets and had the big labels. They don't understand that mentality. It's hard to crack and be like, no, that's what I want. It's very tough to work with people who were who their hey day was behind them sometimes like it's got to pick and choose because sometimes people be like the plastic cup then mindset of this is how it should
be and not this how it is. You know what I'm saying, you wouldn't want to I'm ship, come on man from left Frock bro in bro I like, I'll be sitting pictures of whole with drinking ace of Spade. Like there's like like, yo, you don't want to upgrade your cup. I'm like, no, they're gonna wantain you. Baby, I want to rEFInd you. Come on, let's get this. Yeah. Oh my bad, my bad. I apologize, I apologize. Come on, let's get some shots going. What you what you're doing?
The shot I gotta do. Say you guys have some you want shout the shot the in with the Columbia white, with the Colombian white. He doesn't put no ice in his ships. Shot. It's like how you call it. It's like he's sticking that ship. It's like drinking a heater, that's true. Says like drinking to eat you know, you know what to eat? This from New Yorkers, it's yo. I don't know if they both got it's a rock. I'm not I mean rock, but I gotta choose out
of what you gotta do. Say it over there. I'm gonna with the brown, all right, Downtown Brown, right with the Brown. I respect that guy. Baby, come on baby, were sucking them both? Baby, yeah, I'm sucking them both. You know I mean? But I said, I mean Puffy show shout out to the vote, man, um, you got yours right, So yeah, I don't know if you'll know showing us about us. Yes, our show is about bigging up our legends. We don't need you, you know, tell
him to happen. We're gonna tell you to your faces, how much we appreciate you, how much we appreciate you. Brother thing. Let's take us through slot. Yeah, I'm back now, okay, okay, you got something because because I needed that cop not hit that bloom. So hold the whole thing. We gotta take it back to when we first met if Garcia studio Miami. I remember he wasn't It wasn't a hurricane time was it? It was? It was like a storm. I remember wrote a motorcycle he had. He couldn't leave
because it was crazy. Super. Oh was there too, Super? That's want our son is called my son at three o'clock. Don't don't don't, don't mind interested Hey, you're gonna call me an hour and forty minutes later you called me. You in the next room, bro or I needed a stile the paper got Damn, he's the Louise Papa Cheese. I'm sorry. Who was it that he was with? It was you know, this is how he says that he
puts himself out. You know, there's a hurricane coming, and it was in the studio with us trying to do mixtape ship. Yeah. I remember that was when the first early early trips to Miami and film. Wow, Wow, that's dope. All right, So it's been brought up. We didn't um when I when I do this these interviews, I always you know, go to Twitter and I actually, you got something for smoke deser, you got something for bottle because botticles to come through later. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's supposed
to come through later around Bob's thirty Christine. And then obviously I said, Yo, any questions for ha fame. Obviously, people never really hurt your side. It never will. They don't think. All they hear is you know whatever whatever was going for a lack of better term for people that don't know we're talking about because when we first met you, you came in the game betrayal. So if you could, like, you know, just elaborated as much as
you feel comfortable about, um, what happened with that situation. Now, we we worked super hard, We got together, we did all types of ship independently, made a bunch of money from the ground. From the front. The ground was really just us to maybe to three to three people at the time. We got a lot of endorsements, We made a name for ourselves and part of the ways right he's doing what he's doing and I'm doing what I'm doing.
So um, obviously you know for the world that people know, you know the situation and um and so was that the last straw is because then he felt like he was obligated to something or I'm not sure. I couldn't even tell you how he felt because we never speak about that, right and just just speak after the situation at all. Blast is there something you want to work out or just leave it up to God? But leave it up to God, because I heard him say like like he made the mistakes in certain things? Did you
make mistakes? I'm saying nobody perfect? I'm pretty sure. Did you think he was genuine? And to say I thought he was genuine when he said that about I don't know, I wasn't about you. Like when he spoke about you, I felt like he was genuine. It was like when it came to you. Like I'm not saying he was a genuine say and other situations. I'm not saying that, but I'm saying when I when he came here and I asked about the whole Vange situation, I felt like
he was genuine. That's it. I feel like I felt like I felt like, you know, for me, you know, cutting the cookie like RB right, I felt like he needed someone to actually blame, not to say it like that, but he needed, like I don't want to say a scapegoat, because you know this was this is a very very serious situation. So that's why I felt like you understand I'm trying to say, oh, or now you know what you're saying. I just can't speak for like, all right,
I don't know how you felt. Oh, you know what I'm saying. So so if if that you don't have to elaborate on that, but if that explain to people that that is going to get into this game, that is going to get into management, and it's gonna form a certain friendship with certain people, and didn't we'll have to deal with this explained to how that fails. I always saying to people, like companies break up every day,
partners go different ways in business all the time. I think it's the only sensationalize because it's rapid, because it's young black men people start a business together, that make buddy together and never speak again. That happens all the time. I'm saying down to Apple Windows, the people that started McDonald's ship happened. That's business, really, you know what I'm saying. That's a good way to say, but this is the
music business. But the way you said that a manager puts the artists four four four, right, because because I managed as well. And it's just it's difficult, man, when you put so much. You know, I would probably because I know what you're saying, and you're being politically correct. Let's take him how to be crazy, right, Just I would like to explain for people that's going to get it because like like like being a managers something very personal,
but it's not personal. You got you gotta always remember at the end of the day, this just like we had a friendship before music, so it wasn't just business. But as far as like other artists that were just generalizing, it has been happened in the music since the fucking started. Does that make you better? That does? It doesn't make you better? And make if you don't learn from experiences that because the publishing I never I never took nobody
else published. But you you learn from experiences, so you know now when you have an artist, you would never take his publishing, you know what I'm saying, But it's the friend it's the friendship managers, because most hip hop artists are managed by their friends in the beginning. And so that's the difference between other genres. Now most but most but let me cut you off, but most of their friends when that's when when they break most of
their friends that the managers. The manager, that's the friend. Once they break from from the artists, they go right back to selling licks. Not of them. I don't know. I don't think, And I say, oh, I just think the manager. You're not gonna know the manager story because most of them are behind the scenes. You wouldn't even know. Yeah, I think. I think the fact that people know me is a testament to my work. You know what I'm saying.
People know me because I really get busy and I'm doing great job, and I think some of my reputations speak for us. Forces I none, but it forces sometimes manages to become kind of like artists, so that doesn't happen to them, so people they don't just fall behind the scenes. But that's what I'm saying, Like this is nothing new that's been happened. In the sixties, James Brown fell out, what's first bandages? You know? Was it rough?
Because because because let me, let me just be clear, and I just want to because I just want to just get to get to it right. Um, when we first seen you in the game, we only seen you with Troy was y'all was like Biggie and Puffy y'all was like, damon, Jay, you know what I'm saying. So I imagine, and Troy was Troy was up, for lack of a better word, like he was up and then this this thing happens. You guys break away, he goes just his thing, You go do his thing in those
periods of time, but you building rebuilding? Was it rough? Because I mean some people have got to be looking at you, like if you're not with Troy and watch it, you know, I mean watching Suke with you. But this is the artist with you. For them together, that's a blessing. That's the best thing in the world. Whenever something happens, like like you fall ill, golf a bit, or you lose your job, the best thing that ever happens to you is knowing way you stand with people, you know
what I'm saying. So people that wasn't funk with me or they thought it was over, that's beautiful. I know, I have faith for myself and faith in my ability, and faith is testament to your work ethic that with you regardless of that. So if you don't funk with me, don't. Boy, that wasn't rough. I got loved ones that have like real friends and family, like like you was cold to be. I don't want to take a prom. I have real friends, have real family, a wife, have kids, have I got.
I got real friends, Like there's a shape people that you know what I'm saying. That was there for me. It wasn't rough. It was an adjustment. It was like, all right, this is different. I gotta figure this out. But I didn't have any I didn't have any uh doubts in myself. I never told it. I never thought I would never be beggas out here y'all enough. I didn't know the first one going, But like I didn't doubt my ability. I didn't think I wouldn't be ever lit or where I am right now. No, now, I
ain't gonna lie to tell the truth. I felt like it was rough for both of y'all at one point because we saw y'all as that you know, is that that Biggie Puffy, that Dame Ja and I think everyone kind of wanted y'all to reach that potential and didn't break up because just real so when I was on their way and it's shortcut of it. So I felt like everyone had their opinion, from people from hit side of the industry to people from your side and people the industry period. Do you feel like I'm a little
bit accurate in that? Um? I didn't even say, Bro, like I'm not. I'm not like years ago. Bro, It's like, I don't. I don't. I don't even remember the emotions and feelings I felt five years ago. You can't remember that. You know what I'm saying. I know we're working together. We can't never take that away from he's a hard as worker, about hard as worker. We did some great ship. We made somebody with basic history. It's like, you know, definitely could change that. That's like Jay and Dane didn't
work out. James wouldn't want to do great things. They wouldnt want to do great things. But you can't erase the history there. You can't erase the history. And you know what, I just want you to know, man Um, Eventually, if at least y'all get on talking terms or you know, whatever terms. I don't know like I would. I would I like that man, because you know, I remember y'all together being great and you know, hopefully maybe later on
in life. You know what I'm I'm sure if Benny tells you a Poe fell out, oh well, I would say trash the trash out like that. Yeah, not mean phone never fell out like that, So I would say me a trash. But I got love for trash and um um, I really really like it was his birthday the other day. I've reached out to on but I didn't have to like us where I sat back seeing everyone else saying happy birthday. I could have been like that, you know, let me like, I'm too big to see
nigas bigger than you know. No, y know y'all a happy birthday. Bro. He was like, what it's like, Yo, that's big coming from you. I'm like, why, Like I hate Nigga's to say you people, okay, so you're good, like you know what I'm saying, like, but you know it's so big up trash. So like I said, like, you know, I've been through crazy ship, you've been do crazy ship. Eventually, if you would come on speaking terms, that's some motherfucking plus in life. Let's make some noise.
But goddamnit, I gotta get on something that's been on my chest because he's on smoke busit chest. Do you have the hookamania? Oh yeah, that is that the whole ship I don't bring you all right. I like to think this is the hope before we found out that he used the word nigga. Right, cool, looks I was a wholemaniac and that's what the same. It was to hurt you when you didn't hurt me. It was sickening because I don't know what to do. I'm like, damn
that man. It wasn't exactly what they caut I'm saying. I mean, they don't even see. But he was da dating, no nigger, that's what he said. He said at least not at least she was. She was dating, right, but right he was like me, you know, if it was a six ft eight people too, that's my favorite. He remember that part now, he said, maybe I skipped over that part. I was a camaniac. I was just like, he's racist me alone. But did you see what he
sex case? Yeah, that ship will goalca with his man and all I mean, hold him, been upart a lot of skin. What I'm saying that Rick Flaire hasn't been you, Rick Flair, that's my that's my guy. Met Rick Flirt four and a half for Horseman, I met Fley. I want to say a year and a half ago. First joke, y'all, dog yo, listen, Brady, righty Parper might have been the first drink Chaps he was the other day I was like, he's the first person the interview people in his own game.
I said, holy ship, drink chance might have been a riddy roddy Piper. We just Piper what was it called, Piper's Piper, Piper Piper's first The first thing Rick Flir said when he seen me, he looked at my chain. He was like, I'm as a fellow. Do you think that's crazy because I was coming from the hood, right be growing up. Paul and we have this liking to a life that we know is Santa Claus, Like we
know this is fantasy, but still we watch it. We watched super Fly, Jimmy Slicker, we watched Sting, we watched pull On. See the thing is my mom's and my mother and father, I want to say they introduced me to wrestling, and they told me what it was us from the beginning. So they said, it's a saying the close wasn't real at three years old and feeling me so and didn't it didn't take my joy of Christmas. I don't think my mom still ain't. Like my mom's
just like no, no, you know what I'm saying. Close is me and your father we work on for the ship. So so so with the Santa Claus speech was the wrestling speech, like so you know this, this is not real. It's entertainment, and you know, for me watching it and just learning how the ship works and just you know, having friends in the business now and just being a smack that's what they call it. Just knowing the behind
the scene ship. I know what it's hitting for. However, they're real athletes and they get injured and that that ship is really like you can't just pile driver and say no this is fake. Get you it's what's going on? Man? You got you got hand sanitizer. Yeah yeah, so so yeah, so I learned smoking put your mask on it while you're smoking A right, please you can't. We're just trying to be cap't. But that's all so so so so yeah,
I don't understand. I learned about Santa Claus being fictional and wrestling being fictional or at least you know, um the story, the storytelling purpose of it. Same way, Have no disrespect. I watched Love and Hip Hop or anybody else will watch Love and Hip Hop, and you just gotta just know what you want. Didn't know what you know what it's for. I'm not you know whatever. Maybe it's really maybe it's not. I don't know what's going on on TV. It's not Love and Hip Hop, not
for no money in the world. I'm not going on no no, no, no TV, both TV. So I'm not going on TV to go beef and I get mad over so enough with Love and Hip Hop, I'd never and I respect everybody on there. I mean just expect a couple of times, a couple of times and in marriage boot camp and then I see the homie they can have it. I said, they can have it better than me. I respected you. I'm getting off something like a little bit. I would work for myself basically like
the past ten years. It's not really the orders cracked up to be like working for yourself, like I want to have a job where I could report and come in like I really you have a job when you want to do maybe you ain't gonna like that ship exactly this qu I mean, it's like someone ways rather be major, someone thiss rather be independent. Definitely want to every listen, I'm gonna be on they don't want to colorate in yourself. Yapend you got ten independent albums, I'm
gonna get to that. Wait a second, I'm gonna be if you got a guy who three albums right major and a guy who did three albums independent, same grind, same hustle, same type of hit records. I guarantee you the guy that's independent. Mike got a little bit more Brad, but he got way more gray heads. I ain't get one great yet. It's coming, brother, He's a managements coming down last year. And that's the point I'm trying to make is you guys can make the same amount of money.
It's just independents, but the independent leaves a longer legacy to their families though in ownership. Okay, And I'm not working for anybody major to say this. I want to say this because his the see saw. On one hand, you're absolutely correct because you're leaving a legacy to your family as far as riches, as far as ownership, ownership, ownership. But that record that a major put five hundred grand in and gave you a hundred million in the audience,
that record will never die neither. It's not ownership. It's just like the lady in the projects, she's lived there for two hundred years. She's paying grant but accident lady, do she own it? She said, this is mins baby. She knows you don't own it. She knows she paid the city eight dollars a month, eight dollars on the major. She's amazing. And I'm agree. I agree with that. But what I'm trying to say is it's kind of like, and remember, times are different to being a major in
the nineties, talking about catching that major weight. But everybody don't catch your hit. The sign on major only one percent due. I ain't talking about the ones that don't, not even the ones that point point zero zero one point to person listening, bro, I put out the ones that do for one hit. I've done this. You can tour for three years if you smart. Now your ship is a different era. I'm telling you it's different. I can't. I can't debate that. That's the reality. I can't debate
the budgets different. I've done a half a hit a year and a half tour. I've done that. Grimy wasn't a full fledged half a whole hit, but I've done a whole. But now I'm not saying independent is not not independent. It's that it's not for everybody. You can't like yo, if I'm if, I'm if I'm a major. I go to Minneapolis and I gotta go to Indianapolis the next day and I missed Minneapolis morning show. I could come back to Minneapolis. It's cool, you're my bad.
I only go to the morning show. I'm gonna do an afternoon meet and greet the room. You mix it one time and independent that it's like because they know they got that power over you. It depends what kind of independent, okay, because you know if you eat one obviously, um not directly like I did business with Chuck Wilson. I have shout out to schuf Wilson just because I learned that's not baby Grant, that's baby grand same. You know, sub subsidy um I learned the business from I won't
I won't. I won't say doing bad business as if he somebody did anything that I wasn't aware of, right, But you learn certain things when you're independent that you might not list major, right, So you learn from experience. So you know in the hoop we got to this phrase is cheat the niggas. How you teach the nigga right? So cheat the niggas? How you teach the nigga right? So cheat the nigga, Cheat the niggas. How you teach
the name, Cheat the nigga? How you teach it? And I'm not even saying that we're change the cheat of y'all. Cheat y'all, how you teach the y'all. So I'm not insinuated. I got cheated because I had a lawyer. And when you got a family and you independent, so to speak, you know, if you're not busting the road doing toys and getting features of doing what you're doing, you gotta
figure it out you on the street. You feel me and um when the advances in different languages come, even if your lawyer is saying to you perpetuity, which is a word, I feel like every in dependent audit artist should know one be afraid of that, right, you gotta know that word because that word you say needs forever, not gratuity, not taxes, no perfect grat right right, not gratuity, not not nothing. Perpetuity is forever. And if you see
that word, you run from that word. If you're independent artists. I might be giving away too much game, but I don't care. I'm a artestly proartist. How did you learn this word? Somebody came to you and pity from having certain assets and perpetuity. And then you know, when I go back and they explain this word perpetuity to me, I'm like, well, what could I do when it's like you can't do nothing that you know? So moving forward
because that's the learning curve. And that's not to disrespect anybody out but but honestly, to know what that word, artists need to know to run from that word. Um. And I'm not saying that's I don't know what kind of business is doing that or what what's what? And I'm not slandering him because I'm sure he's gonna see this is sole love. I'm I'm getting money and who we're talking about, talking Chuck, I'm talking about the business anyway, He's he he's actually a good thing, you know what
I mean? But you know he does business. You you get what you want somebody else. At the end of the day, you ain't got to do with you. I'm throwing perpetuity. Maybe they won't see that. Maybe they won't kids,
Maybe the money's worn. Perpetuity don't contribute to you while you know, moving forward like I own everything else of my master makes some money to that girl the way, you know, like if it's time for me to just pass my ship down to one of my kids, a piece like here, this is for you, this is for you, this is for you. I can do that, and I feel like stepping away and just consulting and doing what the funk I feel like doing. But who made you? Like? Was it was it that ages turned you away? Or
what shocked? I tried to shucking jove, you know what I mean. I went, I went and I said what l A read shout out to l A read, shout out to errand read, Yeah, that's that's my homie. And uh he got me in there and I did the whole you know, performing in front the staff, Silvia. But the Bobby's murdership, it's not one of mine. It's not one of my favorite murder and I didn't jump on the table, but to have to do that, it's not
one of your favorite moments. That's not not because you know, looking back at it like I'm I'm happy that it didn't happen because it might have put an expiration date on my ship. Right, So I felt like my ceiling. You can't tell me what my ceiling is because you don't know what my ceiling is, because I'm still going. You can't see my like Freddy Gifts, Like Freddy Gibbs had the same attitude. You see, he just linked up what Atlantic. I think you deserved that experience, not I
mean just to funk all somebody else's money. I mean, but I get you like guarantee, so you're not not up ben't. I'm sorry. It's marriage is something FU announces, right. But sometimes you have a paid for a pussy like baby pussy like I'm listen, I don't know we knew your things, right boy? All those pays anybody pa pussy? What do you paying? Sorry, get your man? So everybody people puss here and so it's a favorite pussy. It feels so much better to tell him to leave when
the homie paid for it. So you're like, cool, Damn, I'm beat up the homie pay And that's what doesn't is that's how it is. That's you know what I'm fair. That's what the homies pay. Boy, you're that's what the CC. I don't. I don't. I don't know neither paying for pussy. Paying for pussy is like you know, movies or dinner or and it's not in the fruit. Well, I won't do away, but I'm just saying that's the analogy that I'm taking it in because I don't play in that
ball I don't play in the ballpark. I just got but sorry, But based on what he said, Freddy Gibbs and I don't know, Freddy gives business, but Freddy gets check, y'all. It's different when you're independent and then go get distributed through that's a whole ball game. So I don't think he got distributed that I think this album is, but atlantic different. You can retain, right, you can go all
the kinds of gol Major is a different contract. Yeah, you're that leverage now, I'm saying that conversation because his partnership is not doing its partnership it's the soul in and I learned that from speaking of Nip God blessing. It's his birthday to day. Everybody that's take a moment of silence for this house for brothers. That's the piece net. You know, that's that was one of my good friends. Um. You know what sign of cinematic first Johnny Johnny found him.
Johnny found him. I feel like I want to see Steve the bells and Steve want to say, was Stu Felli fell? No, Steve, Steve just did that shake was the label right? And I feel like, um, when we were working with Shaun Kingston, shout out to Shaun Kingston. He was writing rounds with Shaun Kingston and like that yea on the first album when I was all singing you're boy, singing ship, You're my inside jokes, I wouldn't
platinum before I wuldn't platinum. The little shot you like together und doing this job around the shot around the time this is my shot glass, around the time he was working on with Sean Kingston Kingston Matlock shout out the shout, shout out the mom um. So you know, around the time he was working with him, he was you know beautiful girls was making the sun all right, um and Felly was helping break the seance records. And
I feel like Felly put Nipsey on ships radar. And I remember the first time we heard got the name of the record because I don't give a fuck. Ryan with my window on my be timed up a see burning and I was like, oh, ship, this nigger is It's serious. And you know, Ships is a is a person that if he funk with you wherever you come from, he gonna he's flying out. He wanted to go see how you living? Actually what's going on? When you met him?
Shot she broke together. It was many sandwiches, you know what I mean, Like we made it look good kind of turkey and cheese. You bless man is because he was an always kid about his diet, even though he would get were from the horse would be a little different, but shots from Upper west Side, so you know he he related to what was going on. So you know any time he liked the artist, he will fly out to with from everywhere, like everybody about from Mississippi, you
know what I mean. But we flew out the l A, the South Central and we linked with Big You and Steve and then and he was going out as management. He was just going. I was just going with my homie because every time you know, he made a move, I was the way you know what I mean, like we didn't your shots, just shots together, god dad, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Moving forward. Nick was the person that never really put me on up and you said, Lipseys told you something that Verbage just not not perpect by the way we learned. I mean, you know, viewers, um. But but Nick was the one that that really screwed me on you know, doing it yourself and and the verbage. If you do want to upstream your ship to a major, it's not you're being signed to a major, it's your partnering with the major. So it's a partnership. It's sold with verbage.
It is how they look at you too. Told us back in the day too, you know what I mean. And even speaking to Dame, you know what I mean, Damon always tell me you'll cut the middlement, and I mean like this is you know, he was always even though he was you know, the label, he was still pro artists too, because he wants every artist that come up under him to be elite. You know what I mean, whoever that is, I call him Professor X because that's
his whole you know spill. But um Nick put me onto the partnership and you know, doing the Proud to Pay campaign. Like I wish in handsight, I would have listened earlier when he was telling me this, because I would have got to where I wanted to get to sooner, you know what I mean? But um never took ecstasy were a word mm watchrooms because the most extreme ship I probably did was drink lean at one point in life, and and that wasn't no good. Yeah, he's in control.
It's like this. You've ever seen the Bionic Man. That's when you drink. Yeah, that's just stupid. It's like that. That's how you feel or that's how you see, that's how that's how your money. Slow motion on sleep with your hang out with p Rock. Okay, that's right, by the way, if you're not following Peak Rock on Instagram, you see to smack yourself in the face. He's hilarious on Instagram. You don't know he throws it up there
he you think about this, Nigga Pete. I don't know when he goes to sleep, how he wakes up and he's like, I know, at five am, if me and Pete Rock, it's not seeing out. I'm gonna get a thread of a fucking text message at six am. And I'm like, how were you? Uh? I just seeing you tweeting? I mean I just see you on the Graham maybe at midnight, my nigga, it's five am. But Pete is the most fucking entertaining person on the ground for me because he's going to go rick shift from every other
page and that's the news for him. So basic. Yet I used to carry Pete Crates to get in the club. See that's the old school hip hop. Ship hip hop? Yeah, what year was this? Gotta be like, I'm thirty six, so I'm still fairly and young nigga. You so coming up like Ships always found his way to managing these legendary artists. And when are you a sex one year connect? I connected with Ships when I was seventeen, so okay, red the year and this is when I was bad rapping.
But anyway, um M, yeah, we'll get We'll get to that, okay, but um any better luck to them. This is before this, before I got commercial. I mean, pop was always out moves, always this is t Rex. Rex was the first nigga that I knew that was rapping for real, you know what I mean, because we all we're all from the same block. Me ranks Move, you know what I mean. So that was the first nigger that he was the standard of rap when we was coming up younger. Rex
was the first nigger. Um was like the Floyd Mayweather is Floyd Mayweather. I've never seen them moves a battle. I didn't have seen him to anybody's belief. I'm not saying that I've never seen the moves a battle ever in my life. And that's o'clock in the morning. Or I might have called him. We called each other, don't because because he posted some ship about Move and you know that's my favorite battle rapper. I just wanted to talk because that's the type of nigga. Buster is like
a five o'clock in the morning. So I was like, Yo, I know that that nigger ain't got no ball, and I think ain't got no album because I'm murdered Moves bigg as fan. But I can't tell Buster this at this time. I just want to be for him. I'm about to go jogging. So this is the perfect steroids that knees like in my mind, just so I'm like, yo, what's uping? Was? Move? Ain't out mad? Gonna be that fire? He's like, what exactly why we took this long? I'm like, I'm like, I didn't know he had to go, But
I'm not saying that that's the one to beat. I'm like, what do you mean take h along? He's like yeah, because because people think battle rappers can't can't make a piece of work. And I'm like, yeah, so he made a piece of you mean a piece of work. He's like, Yo, he made him and he's going in on this ship. I love that ship because like Buster really he really really believe. He believed that. He believes his boss is there.
So it's just about he's the rappers, So it's just about applying, Like that's like having the paint, having the outline.
It's just about painting in between the lines. So that's all he has to actually do is paint in between a lot in my opinion, because because I know who Buster is, that is Yes, listen, I called Buster almost like fourteen times every month just to see it, so exactly like fourteen like in an awkward moment to like an awkward times like eight thirty at night you're in the studio and he's like, nah, I'm over here, and then I'm like all right, cool to thirty in the
morning the studio, Like he has not stopped, has not He's he's the most relentless, but he's got to be the world heavy work with Buster Man. I was managing him for a minute. He's very, very particulous, very dedicated. Meticulous. That sounds like a great word to say, difficult to tell, you know what I'm saying, Like he goes to profession like Dr D is meticulous, you know what I'm saying. And that's a that's a purpose. He's my friend. He's difficult.
He had a great album coming to He's albums, him and Drey's album come out at the same time they are Listen, listen, he's coming out with an album now that he's getting divorced. Yeah, albums coming out. Who's coming out? You gotta do He had a tree nut Let me do it. Bro mm No, I'm not saying because of that. I'm saying because when you get bad music like fire him to go work. It's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's what I mean most albums, fire Man, as we tell
your something, bro, that is my inspiration. I call him everything I said. Every couple of days I just argue with him, like I just want to argue with him, like I want to keep imagine that argument not an argument. I just want to disagree. That's what it is. Because he's a very strong disbeliever of disagreement. He likes to debate the debate. So I'll be like, I'll just say something like I don't think that's conect, but I can't imagine anybody winning. He gets bustered at any debate. I
never said I need that energy. I need that. What are you talking about? I need that? And when he gives me that, like all right, who going to write? He knows that ship, but that he's he's a very unique individual. So you guys also work with camera. Yeah, also seems like a difficult individual. I'm just throwing it out there. You don't use the word difficult. Would you use again? What's it called meticulous? Meticulous? Cam is not difficult? Sure he don't want ping eminem No, you're not that guy.
Can just want to make sure you have to call service there to get him there and make sure the money right, money right, and call service. You got to get our money right and get our call service. Get camera on a here, got them and make the things got that. Damn my money are right and we're gonna go service. Let's work this out's working this out. You're not your brother that you know. You know me and Cam at one point we was like Jay and Nas of our era and we didn't be able to get
it back together. You ain't offer me so champagne. Now I knew Brooklyn Hall of name. Never. I'm just hoping that you know what you're not supposed to keep my telling bottles close friends. You know this drink champ So I had to come to smoke waverers. What do you we got something going over that smoke or is that this smoke package? Were don't be going any compliance and see very soon smokes club ships and what's those shope? What's those two drugs that's different through what? This is
some This is Miami's finest. This is some les. Sorry, and this is some way from this first way from the like the way from his waits okay, and this is on some runs runs. I mean, this is all ship that's gonna make you sweat. Okay, I'll give you, give you a little smoke this ball that I'm talking about. Babies, we get here, baby, baby, we're having fun. Okay, okay, can you roll one one for me? You wanted me? Oh that's a negative, that's right, just negative? Come on,
come on, come on? Do we have more? Yeah? We got more to God, I got that, got some paint. I don't know if you're smoke pickles and I got some. I'm gonna be honest, but I'll tell you trust my lungs is old school niggas. Niggas get speaking to papers because we backnes We appreciate them niggas from what we're doing with the smoke. Chance man, let's do it? Brother? What have been doing? Because we got to me too?
Because you look this collective for there's a collective item for the needles that do want to come to smoke papers and smoke. I'm not I'm a hohless. I'm not gonna smoke this. I called hip hop member in my house. Some don't be honest. Where gets that? But what we're doing with the small boa, where did he go? We all learning to do it? Listen. Actually we already think
we gotta move for y'all. Well, y'all on even like you know, yeah, we're actually let's get this morning where boom yeah yeah, l a a couple of days because me and we got our own podcast when we're on FaceTime, so we just see that. We just need to We just need the people to hear what we got going on, okay, because that's our conversations as it is, because you're working together now, right, work together, brothers, the teamwork, make the dream work. But yeah, we need to do the small champs.
We're gonna do that, brother, We're gonna do that. No, we got your back, bro. And you know what, let me tell you. I respect y'all both like and motherfucker over respect. So and you know, putting the play together. So if this is ain't nothing to it, but to do it, god damn, you definitely get open the bottom and then take those shutting the drink and get the drink. Was talking no, no, let's drink and you got to
drink drinks ain't no more. But because you were over there with Hoke Hogan a cinematic change and the Smokes Club chang and you were out here looking very rich and relationship with DAP. But Dad, that's look, Dad watched me grow up, you know what I mean? Dad knew me before I rapped. When I was playing basketball. Me and Gilanni his son, Um, we both went to private school.
We U was the niggers in the hood that wore un you know the big words because the private school that was that watching wrestling and just reading books because I like I like reading books. Um. But me and Gilanni, we was the two kids out the hood that went to private school. And we both like basketball. So before we went on our journeys to get to school, we'll be in the school yard shooting. You know what I mean? Um? And fast forward when I started rapping, they always supported me.
But do you ever went to DAP store as a little nigga, I used to be. I used to go to that crib. Who'd you see? Who'd you see? A store? Like? I ain't gonna front. I never was really in the store. I heard all the stories I heard about the Mike Tyson Miss Green that tell me old oh man, bro, I hear all the store forty two So I'm out of lun. Let me let me put you on. When we was younger, right, you know because kids as Crew, so a lot a lot of the kids that that
was the first bootleg as a as a kid. So if your iceberg didn't have Gilmo on it, you know what I mean, Niggas was coming for you. Niggas is going. It was like a joke, right, So when we was younger, we didn't get the significance of who he was and what he was in this hip in the hip hop culture right now, fast forward, before he got the Gucci that style, well a kid it was and Louis were talking both bigs DAP styles. But before he even got there, I used him for the Don't Smoke Rock cover with
me and Pete right, just because we had turtlenecks. The whole suit. DA did all of that. So the whole asthetic come up, put it up the wholest I wanted the whole aesthetic to feel like, you know, after you doing. I wanted to hole in aesthetic to be like after New Jack City, you feel but after Nino Brown you feel me like, well what that would have looked like? And the modern right, and the whole the music was like black exploitation because you know that's what I was
watching in and just studying lines samples. We know, we got the whole album we played, so you know, and it wasn't the directors BA, yeah, that's not rich people are boring taxes, right, it's right. And it wasn't direct, very very hot questioning because because you know, it's okay because it wasn't direct interpretation, so really do And it's not a coportuity, not because I got it, because you know, like I said, I bumped my toe hit my head so much in this ship, right that if you don't learn,
you deserve everything you get. So at this point, I'm just moving off experience, you know what I mean, and speaking to my piers and knowing that you know a lot of people living of experts that okay I was, I said, but but you know that I'm moving. You're gonna looking into it like I'm start missing right right right about shout out to the hot But you know that the fact that I've been through so much ship just doing business, you gotta learn from it, you know.
So I'm moving with a sense of being wise than just being thirst like all money and good money, like I'm I'm good on certain ship, you know what I mean. So they had one of the first Sad Rocket features as well. I was the first Niggers to give a Rocky a feature. And and you know I always believed in Rocky and Yams, God blessed Yams used to come to my shows. Was what rockies here out had the twist, he had the two grads. Hein't had a perm. Let's
talk about that. You know. He was the first thing I've seen when Jeremy Scott's at that time, you know what I mean. He was just and Rocky always had this energy with him. Um like he was from right. But I'm gonna tell a real story, right. So my man Steve, my brother, somebody I grew up with that was managing me, right, So we went into the whole before. He was like you know friends that come in that they end up managing people. And he's still doing good
because he's managing other big artists as well. Um. But he was the one that encouraged me to work with a Sad Rocky at the time because the record for Local that I had, I wanted to put Juicy Jalen record. This is when Juicy j was getting trippy. He was just coming off the Smoker's Club tour. We had a report and he was already speaking something like now I'm gonna put Juicy on this. He like, no, let's keep it hall on as this kid a sad rocking who told you about I mean Steve, Steve, Steve Um And
you know I always no, no, Um. I always took his word as goal because no, not Steve Wi from dev GFC, GFC, GFC, Steve r GFC Steve right about. But but yeah, you know when when he told me like, let's keep the energy and harm, you know what I mean, I couldn't really go against that. And before and this is before, yeah, this is before, was just before anything. This was just me betting on somebody that please my man, saying that al right, this kid is gonna be next.
And I'm like, well, what could be the worst thing to happen? Right? So I put the nick on the racket and nigga started going. Then after a while, everybody hitting my phone for Rocky. I don't manage this snicker. Everybody's trying to sign this thing. Everybody trying to and fast forward he signed the polo grounds and A seven and everything else. Brian Lee. But you know, you know, so Rocky and he always be. I know you well,
I know of him. I don't know him, but I know you know since But once once Rocky got to where he got to, he still came back and was like, Yo, what's up? What were we doing? But you can still get a record with him right now, you know what I mean, after the drawers that you know you gotta add withdrawals. My nigga, he gets to the money. You know what I mean. He doing, he's doing doing, He's doing what he's doing. But you know he he never got weird on me for me, like he always was
a nigga to be got rid of you. Let's just throw it out. This drink Championship got weird of you know some of the weird niggas. But I won't even say niggas that got weird on me because it's the music business, you know what I mean. Like I could tell you that they getting business on you. Look that kid. I can tell your niggas that didn't get wet, you know what I mean. Niggas like Big Prip. You know I mean, niggas like Whis Khalifa. You know what I mean,
He's currency, you know what I mean. Let's get on the phone. Let's see this picks up first. He definitely picking up for me. Smoke blunts. He kicked me on the studio. The thing is with my friends with their phones, the niggas. It's gonna be interesting these niggas. He's gonna kill Tom's nickicking me out. He didn't kick me out. You know I got guns, but friends on see him young. We all got problems, like why why are you calling me a facetop? You know I don't go No, yeah,

Let me take a drink and I got ashes in my ship and then he manna but get you in there and you don't. I don't know what it's like. Cool shot shot,
It's like what he's cuming me? Yo? Love you Joe? You show me a ceping love you think? Alright? Cool? Holy ship. I was totally called on. I felt like I was calling somebody else. All right, all right, um, let's see, all right, we got what we talk's just keep talking. You got somebody else, and I feel like you got somebody else. I got a I got a few people. But you know, I don't know what these niggas are doing. Yeah me just try anybody Brook called the dog Lama right now, these Niggs is gonna be
calling me back when I'm honey hanging gonnaswer for these niggers. No, we're gonna We're gonna keep it going, keep this shipping. But y'all think it's not drinking this motherfucking this is number. What is the difference with Cliko? What is like the move? It's just ship, I don't guess. I just like the bool. I like the bottle. I like the fact that it come in a little box, sometimes come a little bag. Every nig is don't drink that, you know what, I'm man,
and that stop saying that. Man what everyality? That was just that, that's the left right, every they don't drink that, you know what, Stop saying that your real life or I'm trying to stop that in my real life, you know. Yeah, And you know what, you know what? The crazy thing was different. I had a great had a great uh. We went to Denver and then din I had like thirty five people with me and everybody getting money, God
bless everybody getting money. Beautiful thing. And when I looked around, the only person I heard that word from was from us. So I just wanted to correct that because it's just like it makes the white people that's cool with us feel uncomfortable when they see us say that sometimes. So I just like, you know what, we're better than that.
We we can do better than that, and we're the most career because you know, it was one point when I was in Denver and it was I was with all my wife friends bro, because all of my my Colorado Terry in Colorado, Frances they're all white, great beautiful people. But they listen to the music. They drunk us and they edited theirselves every time a word come on in the rap music. They ain't slipping up and going. They're making their own edit. And I'm like, they could do that.
They've drunk just as drunk as me. Why don't we participate in that? So that's that's my flight. I think I'm gonna lose. I don't care. I can can change my environment, my circumference. We got deeper, a little y'all practice. They want practice, y'all practice, And you know what I'm saying, You know what I mean. You know what I mean. You can't call everybody king, and you can't call everybody bro. I'm being honest. I'm gonna go listen to your classics
and replace nigga with da different. Can't replace the path. You gotta let the pass moving folds. It's just like you said, you can't take away you. I can't take away anything with the pack. But moving forward, we gotta you know, we should. We should because we're the Yon days, y'all, and the y'all was in the yard days is geta y'all, y'all, y'all, you know, back to the seventies. I'll take back to the seventies. What's that? Stop calling people slick and slick.
You can't say blood because blood right now blood that you might think it's Gang of Philly depending where you are. It's like conted right now, Brooklyn on the gang ship. Yeah, yo yo, cripping blooding. But it's the little homies, you know what I mean. It's little blaming a little homies. I'm not blaming them, no, no, no, no, But I'm
not happy. I'm just saying that it's coming from and I'm saying, you know, for me, like anybody that I consider my little homie, I try to put him in the path to some money or to some type of opportunity to where it would be fruitful to not be in the street or to not be, you know, in any kind of game, type of time. And I respect gang time, especially in l A. You feel me like because you're going hard, but like you actually, how much
time do you spend that? I spent a lot of time in l A when I was working with Sean, and you know just how. And I won't even just say right and his ship because Sean wrote, he wrote, you know what I mean, like he his hook his hooks, all of them hooks came from him, you know what I mean at the beginning where he was fifteen sixteen? Did he have some assistance? Assistance? What I mean? You know everybody don't got the on me in mind at that time when they're putting you in grown frown people's
situations to solve the light. But you know, he still had to deliver that ship because you could write, I could write for my mom's but that don't mean that she's gonna do what Sean? Did you feel me? Because you gotta deliver that continue And it wasn't even like writing the whole song since I might everything. Shaan got a mind and the pen of his own side. I never discredit him. That's want to say something, right, now
I'm smoking his diamonds. You know what diamonds is? What's that trying one of those home grown that some of that smoked that he'll here's y'all a right here, my y'all all right here, just keep you telling what timons is. You got diamonds is like yeah, but you know, listen when I put that on the ground going like that and I put it on a blunt, let's just see
these weeds enthusias. The fuck is wrong because you know that he's supposed to put it put it in the dad and the dad, but I'm figuring out the fouls a way to. I ain't gonna hold you. You know, I took that dad. But a few years ago, fucking with the nigga whiz Man and I swear man niggle almost killed me off that dad. I said, from there on in, I'm never smoking and ship ever too much. Like when to the studio, it's like, is we based free basis? Let me it's a little bit free based
by freas. That's not in the rag in the rate, but the kremblay torch you it's a little bit made crystals. But let's not forget for people that's watching that might think of something else. It's the purest phone. It's the pures phone. Do I need it? No? I don't need it because it's very How does it creative? How does someone doesn't know? Well, I don't want to be uh, I don't. I don't want to give any misinformation. But you know I'm not a botus, but I believe it's
melted some something. I can't explain it for my days because the green thrones to be hitting me like yo, I could get somebody burns just but it's a lot, break the back drink chance to Paul, it's a chance. So I had a chance, though. What's good? Smoke Disney whole vain? Okay, okay without stroke? What up? Calm? Cool? Cool? What's go on? Dad? That's come? I don't know, baby? Why do you pick up though? Okay, that's a great excuse. You already to Atlanta? Yeah? Yeah, I just got back
last night because it's my daughter party today. I have a bag to here. Bron made a grown as man man's that's that's that thing. Her birthday will hit you later, brother, Oh holy morning, bocka mobe baby. So now we all want one one? Yeah, we all one one, so I know one of these niggas. Wait, oh way you got one, then it ain't get your que No, you gotta trial, man, We're gonna make this more. I'm about to say, call the ghosts. Man, I'm about to call I'm about to
call this because I'm hungry. I'm about to call them nigger for problem on twelve. I think I'm gonna wins. I think you will win with that called you one, no LEAs you long area, then either ticket Star, they call the restaurants. I'm gonna call you Paola right now, hold on to get the thing. They open, they pick up, you lose. You're not going like holy morning, brockam and I think Bottle's gonna come up. And a couple of ten minutes, Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna ask somebody with
the chill spreeweld moment right there. Man, he got a lot of lineage, and everybody said good. The other the trust you gotta know what happened to you, gotta choke. PJ called listener. Let me ask you this. The PJ called listen. I feel like I'm hearing now. This is the thing. So one of my favorite artists of all time is the Harlem dude, big What does big El mean the Harlem? Now, I mean, you know that's a
good question. Just somebody like me that was born in an era big al and studying rap patterns and studying big El himself he is on Russian war. Well, a young kid. I don't really know how that core relations might not does it? Oh? A young kid from Harlem?
Now you know it's certain young kids like like my artists, like Jay Graham's to Jake Grams is of the world that actually, No, it's meticulous, good vain word to to to certain rap music and study patterns and watching battle rapping, you know, doing different ships, to to shopping his sword paws. Studying somebody like big elwol work fan because metaphorically how he structure, how he set up his boss structure, the type of beats he wrapped on. You know what I mean.
That's for somebody that that caters to lyrics. I mean like a Benny the Butcher, you know what I mean, Like that is ship that kids could take it. The first we talking about that, Yeah, we ain't talking. We didn't talk about that. How how how was you like the first person? I feel like, let me. Let me say the first person, what do you mean he's humble? He's a humble Guy's a humble god. When people think of New York City and like New York City rappers,
they don't think of Buffalo. No, no, I don't have to think of New York City rappers. He's one of the people that they think of. He got the people when you go to certain cities you think of, who could they? I mean, West has sent me a song. I feel like if like h Hit of four hit the three um called Mr Fuji with some wrestling ship and I remember Combat Jack telling me about and this is before the eminem situation, so I was be trivy to knowing and be and you know, hearing how niggas
gave it up and I was already a fan. So when they hit me up, I'm like, you know, anybody that like wrestling that's doing that type of rap that that I know, I'm like, I'm embracing it because it wasn't a lot of people that was doing it at that point. So um, that's that's how I link with them. And you know, niggas just created a bond from then to where you know, it is just moving unison's as far as we keep each other current to what's going on.
You know, even East, Like I was the first person to give East a feature that was a known nigga, you know what I mean, Like he's a staple in of sitting my babies Davies. Yeah, you know what I mean, like like and that and these niggas right now because these niggas is you we gotta know because they're big artists, you know what I mean. At this point, these niggas didn't surpass a lot of people's visions for them, you know.
Um So yeah, you know, I don't even take it like you know on some like stick my poke my chest out ship because each one teach one you for me, like and I'm still nigga is still on their journey at the end of the day. So that's how I give it up a whole van and say I'm too humble, too humble, man, you know, when you want to you go to every city, like you know, let me come on, man, I know he got the weed. He might add a bitches.
He's nice, he's cool, he's dope. M c he that nigga from me like the Snoop dog on me up what I'm saying. Yeah, I want to call this nigga Yo. You got a wich cruial Yeah, like im breaking Jackson Man like you know, I mean I introduced Rocky like that, you know, I mean that was the first time in them. That is man Boy four Am meet me, Dame Rocky Bari,
Killer Pink and Perms involved. It was just some Holland ship four Am in front of Elport though, you know what I mean, Like, that's not Jim Burgers about to see food joint by Jim Bows on the hill of course treatment projects. Right, Okay, I'm very familiar exactly. You know what I mean Cubans. You know my favorite burger sounds Cuban I want to be cut fading burger spot in the world is Jimbo's Jimbo Still Rockings Tune four. That's why I eat tees Burger Baby to this day,
to this day. Yeah, Burger Baby reminds me of Jim bos Bro Jim Bows to me is Jim was just the hard on thing I feel it, not in the Bronxe to It's uptown things, Okay, uptown thing. Jim jim Bo's is like Jackson Hole Jr. Jackson Hole Jackson holes for queens in my mind as a host for queens, I'm not I'm not your but yeah, so jim Bos is still pop. Jimbo still popper. You come on Saturday, we got to go to and bowls. Didn't get some sad all that man? All right? You know and eat
hot dogs? Pose. No, he's the Glizzie Glizzie. I'm gonna just stand. He said, you'll give me one with everything on it, and he don't put new Bizzy. It's just a bunch of car there's my pa. I say, I said, I give me, give me a hot dog everything on it. Do you like? Yeah, I said, let me Glizzie with everything. I gonna be honest. I think it to New York onions. It's that dirt New York crowd, understand talking mustard catch up.
Like when I go to New York, I can't be on the diet because I gotta I gotta have a I gotta have a hot dog everything on it, no hot dog, and I gotta have a disrespectful pizza. I gotta have a piece of where I put on nothing but red peppers. Then I'm putting on garlic that I'm putting on the palmer Jan and then I'm putting on the pepper again. Yeah, salt for three minutes. You might you might as well have to use you. That's team backs and I'm like a just but yeah, listen, is
it ending your mind? My child? You know back then, like salt will make everything taste better? Like you even you can have a stake. That's a fact. That's a fact. That's a fact. That Je's Louise Papa cheese. Man. You gotta holy wow, I'll be drinking because I'm drinking drinking with you. Drink drink. I got a lot of this mixed. It's Mike, open that o. Man. Let me see how you're a real chap and you see how it was
not you know, you know me in real life. I know you're real Lifecially, you don't see how I don't trust something. The whole time he's popping, I'm look that we should drink in our champagne a little extra kick. I did not like them at that place. I'm gonna be honest me. I know I listened whole veins ray as they come out and popping. Well, we're trying to say we're chilling, yo. So every night you know these guys is popping, so you know, I want to support
my dudes. I'm good, but I want to support my Thus I come out these niggas got Rose and Patron. The y'all is like, no problem. They follow it up my cap. I have no idea. Probably about two and a half bottles in, Burt Killer said this whole night, how you know when you're birth your birth? Tell whatever it is? Yeo. So I'm tell him home many things I'm hitting. I am about four cups deep in before I realized that, y'aller got y'all. I'm like that because I don't like all right, let me just see. Let
me be careful when I say this. It's not I don't like to kill. I like to be aware of when I'm inhaling to kill her. I don't want to want to be prepared to take my asthma pumping and realize after seven as my pumps to Killer was in the air the whole time. I don't want to learn that way. Tell me to kill us in the y'all. Y'all right, right, So I'm over there like this four glasses. I go to the and he's like, no, you go nowhere. You got you right here, take another. I'm Boston, but
I'm like this, yeah, this is perfect. I said this dream chance everybody, somebody, somebody spiced me, and I say one of them's like the patrol and the way that say, oh my god, you made me speu point in the club and the club that was like that disgusting. That's a Brooklyn show. Because I'm gonna be honest as a nigger with a little bit of class, my class. It was good. I wouldn't take get separate. I would still
do the same ship. I would take them on and take a shot with the shot, but not in the same class, because you are doing uppers and downers, like taking heroin and cocaine. That's how you're equating that. That's a that's a good one. That's take and didn't take cocaine after don't take it to it's not again. That was That was a totally terrible That was a terrible analogy. But he was saying made a lot of from that name. Listen,
my face is like this crazy. Let's listen. Listen. Broke me up like like suck me up, like give me funked up. Don't don't don't sneak fuck me up when you sneak me up. But it was like it was also dope because there's no rules to this drinking ship. It's actually like if y'all would have came and you would if this would have bust open, would have been bet, you would have won. I think it's just like he got the cleaking. He too, that's the super and he was just in Ross clear. Yeah, it was each other,
the big brousavy Ross got a compound. That's a compound, horses all type of ship. That's the bro. I feel like when he first gat me like six in the morning, you wake up, pull up what I'm saying. Yeah, that's my guy. He said it his horses, He got horses man. Anything you want in life. The biggest pool in the US, he said, Draking Kane. Any bitch they ever backed, has enough room phone, enough room phone, he said, yeah, you
need to have Sunday service on the front lawn. He definitely could you can fit about people on that front lawn easy. I ain't got a cross motivation and kind of niggas support independent artists, support independent artis heavily. They got songs, videos, and what he did was when he first came home off his you know, last stretch with whatever, right y'all. He sent me back that person like a week like when he was on house arrest, and I didn't expect to even get it. The scle model to
Beeping Facts sent me. He sent me a verge back and was like, YEO, what you're doing baby rolls? Come shoot the video coming in Atlanta. Boy for Nothing, always been solid Sid. It's not that he's not wants to do it. He wants to. I fulfilled the whole favorite to the respect that it texts you know how you're doing it? But this is good. You're straight. You need something like you know what I'm saying, never no issue, clan nothing, evere, solace, solace solid, Get you all a
game like how you do I'm you're gonna watch. I got something I gotta I got a segment, got a ship. You know why? I don't know. I ain't no talk to me. Don't talk to me right now. Don't talk to me right now. I got to take a piss he sneak take a ship, all right, we got we got Yo takes the fastest pisces ever. I don't think he pisses bro. I don't think her hands. I don't think he knows we're doing it now, so he might take a little look. He don't. I don't know what
he does. He does not piss. He goes in it, he opens the door, comes out of the core. He's a time traveler. Uh. I wanted to do this. I've been waiting to do this. He's gonna take a while, right, motherfucker man, God damn it. Fatherhood podcast, you're gonna be on it. Need to alright, let's say no more. Hope they too, Yeah, let's do it. Let men, kids, you got to you three almost ten and seven. I got two right now, two girls and no no, I got a boy and a girl. I second was a boy.
And what's what you got? I got a two boys in the girl. How's the three going for you? It's crazy because I got twins and my um my eleventh about to be twelve, and my son is autistic. So that ship is like a battle. Wow, my oldest is sixteen and he and teenage like so fucking bitches and doing what he's doing. So that ship is a battle. So it's like trying to figure out what's happening, Say mom, for all of them, for for the two we gotta fight outside. The girl beat him up. Bro, probably on
the phone, where where are your gloves? That sounds like slide I said that boy. Sound MANI Bro, you took too on. Man, it's pretty good. We're gonna looking at We had a fatherhood podcast plug. I'm done, but you listen. You see this time too. He used a minute. No, no, no, that's too long. Yes it is. It's true. Half of forty two is usually what he takes. I promise you, I promise you that it's he's a superhero. He goes
in the bathroom, or he's taking the top traveling. He opens, he goes, you know, he asked him question, I go so and he's coming right. I used to be um, I'll tell you later. I love to wat my hand.
