What up is d J e FN and this is
drink Chats motherfucker Happy? I will make something right now. Where it comes to d j's, when it comes to producers, when it comes to hit makers, when it comes to all the round hustlers, I think I see them in the guy co conversed with the other day. The man got endorsements with everybody from wait watchers to whoever. The man is the ultimate, ultimate, ultimate, ultimate hustler, super motivational speaker.
Sometimes when I'm having a bad day, just go on his Instagram just to feel bad, because he tells you you are the best. He doesn't play about this he's serious about his business. Has one of the best house I've ever seen in my life. He got a part of his cribtics outside inside, but it's outside inside. I don't know if you understand, that's how crazy it is.
And in case you don't know what I'm talking about, the number one DJ in the world, one of the number one hit makers in the world, one of the number one hustlers in the world, constantly doing this thing. Motherfucker d Jaker. I gotta takes from the super legendary. I appreciate that for college. Let me let me get right into it, right, let me just get right into I'm sorry, I'm sorry to cut you off because let me pop that. Let me pop. But this is what
type of caging it is. When you come out. You know, you don't pop regular ace. You pop the ropes. You understand. I made the call and hold I believe it ain't sent these two bottles of rolls, but I had to get I had to make it completely. Have a case. You know you gotta have six bottles at ACE. But let me just ask you call it right, um um, you had a viral moment a couple of weeks, right, you just going live a fan love right then, and the home girl just started dr and behlf of all
married men in the world. I was very proud of you at that moment. Now I appreciate that. I mean, you know that moment was um, which is a real reaction what I'm saying. Uh, So it wasn't because she just walked right by, because you see me, Like, she just walked right by me. And the thing is that I got I have no problem with her might talking and it's their business. Whatever anybody want to do. God
bless them, because you know I love everybody. And it's like, but you know, on my online platform, you know what I mean, I just asked not to do that. Um. And the reason why I was starting her talking to me normal is because at the end of the day, it's you know, I got a lot of people that support me, and you know, I also want her to be able to get her message across without you know,
so the extra stuff. Um, it's crazy because I end up going live again like a week later, she popped back up, but she came back on here talking to normal. Got numb but love for your respect, that this and that, and now she was telling me how she's an entrepreneur. You know that she has her own Um, I think she sells like I'm not if I'm not mistake, and I think baby suits and you know, just different stuff.
So I was like, man, that's beautiful and let's talk about oh my lives, oh my love what I'm saying. So you know, that was just a real reaction. I'm saying at the end of the day, is you know what I'm saying. Even if I was looking at it, I'm not doing nothing wrong. But I was just like, yo, like what you know, my son situation. But it was just a real I don't know how to be me. I'm saying it just me. One night, I'm out with my wife, right, but it's not here, yest brick house,
brick house. So I'm at brick house and the girl comes up to me and I guess you wanted to say hi. So we're saying hi. But the only thing she did she just looked. It was like she just turned around. It starts turky, and we all just walked away. We just like, come on, she doesn't know that we with our wives. But that's crazy when you can see people that that's the only way they know how to communicate. They you know, to get your attention is just you know,
taking that. And you know, my girl's super cool. I'm saying, my girl, she she's my best friend. I'm saying, and I've been together friend like over thirteen years and she's um my best friend. What I'm saying, she's just my best friend. She will never trip about nothing like that. What I'm saying, she's a guy. I just anybody know my girl, she s a real one. So I'm like, yo, yeah, yeah, no problems. If I was one love that was a super Legiti that was that was Joe. That was so
moving on. Let's take it. Let's take it from the beginning because a lot of people, a lot of people just think that you just started and you just you came this guy. A lot of people don't understand the grind from the beginning. Last people, I mean, I understand that. You know, I'm talking about I'm talking about the genetics right the world. So how did you actually because I believe it's Louisiana. Then you moved to Atlanta though, so I was raised in Florida. I was born in New Orleans,
but I was raised in Florida. UM And while I was living in Florida, went back to New Orleans, um again, because my finances wasn't right how to get back on my feet. And my mother and father lived in Florida at one time, but they went back. You know, everything got took it away from them. I'm saying, Um, basically
like ship got real, what I'm saying. And it was happening to me when I was like fifteen, and um, you know, God blessed me and let me see, um the blessings and then you let me see how quick it will be taken away, you know, at a young age. So that's what you know. When you see a lot of me and a lot of my talk, that's just me, you know, my experiences of real life. So I lived in Miami for over about twenty seven years, I would say seven something like that. Um, so I've been raised
in Florida, what I'm saying. I lived in Orlando for a for you years too, But Miami was my home, my heart, and it's been over twenty seven years. When you live in a city more than twenty years, you know that's your life. You damn near born. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, this is this is my home is what I represented to what I screamed, and I had love for everywhere what I'm saying. But you know, just to answer your question, you know what I mean, I became DJ caged, you know what I'm saying right
here in Miami. You know what I'm saying. You know me and him, you should rocket club cream. What I'm saying, like fifth in Washington was like one of the first hip And you know what I love about your relationship is because he rapped you so hard, repped you so hard, know what I'm talking about, another level you're saying. And he would bring you to two shows in Miami. This's when he had the what what you know? And if that would bring him bring you down? And I just
love how y'all partners and and how the friendship. But let's take it from this. So when when did you start out first? Was it DJN or was it so DJ? I saw a DJ and UM at an early age. I would say probably about thirteen four a team in in Orlando, and then I came to Miami. What I'm saying, so you know, UM, I started DJ early, I'm saying. And as soon as I started DJ, and I immediately got into production. So you know back in them days, you know it's called the beating overcame, So it was
DJ Cavin beating overcame. Um and you know, nobody knew me what I'm saying that this is me just living my dreams. You actually press the buttons. Yeah, MPC sixty I'm saying, drum machine. Look, you know, cast your keyboard what I'm saying, like with and a lot of vinyl record Obviously we sampled a lot of that time I'm saying, so I was I was more of UM MPC and a lot of turntable sampling, you know what I'm saying. So, and that's how the music was putting it out at
that time. Um SO production and DJ was kind of like together. But obviously you know DJ broke the door down for me. I'm saying, uh so, you were producing from the get not they get but two years yeah for sure for shore Mics ninety six days. So I started DJ. Then, um you know when I came to Miami, I end up doing underground radio. He brought up mixed Signy six. I call it community radio, and they call it what I'm saying, um so, I would when I
used to do Mick Sagny six. It was crazy man because um shouting the Butterfuco Daddy Saul and everybody was at mixed SIGNI six and UM. I remember coming in there with like Crates and I'm like, yo, I wanna I wanna rock, know what I'm saying, and They're like, you know. I was so persistent and consistent, and they finally let me on and it was a late night show, and I was, you know, I've ripped it down, and everybody was calling up like who's this guy? Who's this guy?
His voices, the way he played music. You know, they showed love what I'm saying. And I end up rocking so much, got the calls from the city from the streets, will just keep coming in, coming in coming in. But at the same time, as I only had like a one hour show, what happened was, you know, how can I be down? Was out here, so how can I be down with in Miami? All the DJs wanted to go to the convention. I want you to be on
the radio, So I stayed on the radio. Everybody left their show, so now I'm joined the afternoon show, the morning show, the night show. I slept in the apartments. You know that the station the floor under you was ninety four point seven that was at that station. Literally are yeah, we're like rival underground radio stations with houses. Yeah, this is that's the way the ground radio locations. What you're saying, because you know, you know the receiver somewhere.
You know what. That makes sense cause I was stretching Barbados ship was in an apartment in New York. So you gotta remember Miami didn't have the commercial radio. Wasn't really know what I'm saying that we was playing the hip hop here you was saying. And that's why I love being on the shoulder because he was playing it too, and I was playing it. And so now I'm on the radio, everybody hearing me, the whole city in Miami embracing me. But also when people came from out of town,
because everybody come to Miami. What I'm saying, especially at that time the morning a weekend, how can I be down? Everybody coming? So all the artists end up coming and you know, calling up, like, yo, call it up, I see you doing your thing. Boy, You're coming up, and you know, I'm like just ripping it down right and then um fat Joe would come to my show, Big Pun will come to my show. Cameroon will come to my show. KR Swarm will come on my show and
wrap for like two hours straight, not one break. What I'm saying, like, why Cleap will come on my show? You know, every artist will come on my show. Um, and you know that's when they came in town. But the city of Miami, you know what I'm saying, read me so hard. And I read the city of Miami so hard. You know. It was every day you heard Cabot on the radio, Like you know, that's just part
of a day in a life in Miami. You get in your car, you in your crib, you're gonna hear DJ caled is a seven days week, seven days a week. One day you're saying, like, so, you know, and then it got bigger than then. Uncle Nuke called me shout the Luke Um. Luke called me like, y'all want you to do my new show on ninety nine Jams. It's the big station. So he gave me the opportunity, which
is equivalent right right. So I end up doing co hosting with him and d jan on The Luke Shaw on Friday Night, and I still kept my underground radio. I was I'm making a hundred hours a week. I'm saying straight up, I'm hustling. Yeah, yeah, this is where I go driving. We're ate is twenty crates and record crates, jumping on a tri rail that's the train and getting to the you know, like back in the days it was in Biscaine View. I say it now, you know
what I'm saying. We'll get ready back then, you know, eventually, you know the way. I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but you know what I'm saying. So Luke called me up and let me be um a DJ on the show and a co host. And that show, Maori, it was so big, not just big
in Miami, big in the world. So he gave me the opportunity and and and I'm very grateful for that opportunity because um, not only did it get super big, you know what I mean, it was so big that it had to come off the air because it was just too big. That big. It just kind of so you know, Luke was touring and we did the show for you know, for years, and and when he left radio, I end up they end up keeping me to doing the Friday night show. So I was grateful for him
to give me the opportunity. So I started working at nine nine Jams and from nine nine Jams on Friday night show. I went to having a Friday night show to a five o'clock mix in the afternoon and um sometimes do the night show mix at nine o'clock. But then eventually, make a long story short, they gave me my own show. You know what I'm saying. I end up doing the night show like how Flex would have a night show. So I'm breaking records down like I'm
breaking records. I'm breaking every record. I'm breaking records in my AMMI I'm breaking records out whatever great music I would break it. I was passionate I would I damn me. I got fired and suspended so many times for breaking I played Rick Ross record hustling for like an hour straight. The program director at that time called up, like, yeah, that's something I'm sorry, is that something you got from Master Flex. I'm definitely inspired by breaking records bringing it back. Absolutely.
I remember you broke that Garcia record for us. Yes, I think it was the first time you actually did it that big and then so many now but the way. You didn't heard you do that. Yes, that was the first time I heard you do that. I got suspended. I came back on I did the same thing, suspended again and threatened to fire me. I was like, listen, you're gonna have to fire me because I know what this is and I know what this is gonna do. For the CD, I was playing Ross Trick, treaming up
pit Bull. You know the list go on. There's too many records a name, but um, it was the reason I'm bringing up hustling because that's a moment that nobody could forget. I remember that, you know what I'm saying, And everything I did on the radio I did in the club, I did in the club and play Yeah, I should rock the club. Prevay when b and Matthews who come in the club, you know what I'm saying, and you know it would be a hundred at least five hundred of them. I'm saying, they always showed me
love and they come rocking. A matter of fact, I was probably, Um, I met Jeez. I know Jeez as just being a street dude. Then they said, you play this record and end up being Jeezy and the places erupted. You know what I'm saying. So like, there's so many special moments that prevay and my birthday. Um, um squashing that getting to that rushing the temple you had a
lot to do with Rick, Ross and Jess squashing the right. Yeah, well you know, Ross my brother, that's family and Jez my brother, you say, and you know, you know Ross home team and whatever the situation was. Me personally, I knew it wasn't nothing. It was it got to be miscommunication whenever you know, um, cause the energy, but it was it was my duty as a friend to every
day bring up Yo, they sit down. It might have took a few years, but I always brought it up to sit down, what I'm saying, And we finally sat down with me Ross, Jeezy and hip hop, you know what I'm saying. And um, I talked to Jez so many times and I think Ross end up bumping the Jez one time, and you know, and just you know, I could feel like the energy was getting closer where you know, we could sit down. You know what I'm saying. I was there at the BT Awards show. You know
I'm saying. You know, it was always um, I guess what they say at attention, you know what I'm saying. But I knew it wasn't nothing for them to be beefing, you know what I'm saying, because beef is that's a big word, what I'm saying. And at the end of the day, as a friend, as a brother, and for hip hop, I felt like, you know, cabals don't for unity and love what I'm saying. So both of them felt comfortable talking about any situation with me what I'm saying.
So we eventually sat down and it's crazy, we sat down, It was beautiful, was in the studio, and we made two records. You know I'm saying, one for Um. You know, he cut one with Ross and Ross cut one with him. What I'm saying, like for both albums, you know what I mean. It was just incredible, man, just to see
them brothers come back together. And the only thing I wish, man, I wish you know, they never had that situation because I would have loved to hear them to make an album together, not saying you know what I'm saying about saying that and many tours they missed together because those two were so powerful, you know what I'm saying, So shout out the Rick Ross, my brother you know how A and all a lot of Rick Ross albums, Like you know, a lot of people don't, you know, like
you said, you see my success now, but they don't realize can not just a DJ and the producer, but also a music executive. You know, I'm saying if somebody had played the background, you know, I was blessed. And our records with Ross and produce and you know what I mean, just classic albums like Teflon Darn and Deeper than Rap, you know, as many more I'm saying I was blessed. I was. I was president of def Jam South.
My office was in Miami, and l A read put me in position, you know, New York and Miami, back and forth. So I was blessed with all this you know, energy and responsibility at the same time I was shaping up my career, you know what I'm saying. So everything was like each key leads to the next key, you know what I'm saying. I see, you know, because the
keys never run out. So I was just like to be able to make and sit in the studio with Rick Ross and watch him cut these classical albums and records, and you know, what I mean, and to be a a and on the credit um even executive produced whatever with him, you know what I mean. I want to thank Ross for believing in me, and I want to thank l A Read for believing in me, you know what I mean and giving me that opportunity because they
can never take that away from me. Because he ships are classics and Ross every at Ross jumped on every single record I've ever asked him to jump on. He's on every single album I ever put out. That's just one of my great relationships. You're saying, you know what, we brought his name up. I want to make sure that I give him his flowers because he's a legend. We're gonna go back to ring. We waited four years
when this goddamn make so. Something that went over my head just now was, you know, when we interview people, we always go through their music. We didn't have to do that with you because we know your music, right, but we was going through your music anyway. But someone on someone pulled up my boy Diego pulled up on the Instagram, and it's something that blew over my head. I liked the picture, but I didn't know what I was like and I've seen it was an overal. It
was an owl, not an ovial. It was an owl with the key in his mouth. So I'm not gonna lie. I like the picture of I didn't know what I was like, yeah, and my boy said that's yeah, yeah, but single. I am working on a new album. Um, you know, speaking of albums and catalog, you know what I'm saying. I have eleven albums out, eleven motherfuckering albums, the Lloyd um and I'm working on the twelfth album. And yeah, I mean you know it's Alan Key and and I can't even you know this this this this
this drink Chance, drink Chance. Yeah, I can't even. I can't even do the sh I'm doing. Yeah, Drake is definitely on UM DJ CALLI single. And the vocals sounds so incredible, you know what I mean, the frequency, not motherfucker, just the sonics, the way that ship sound. It's just it's incredible, you know what I'm saying, Like, Um, that's that's my brother man. It's like family to me, you know Drake, you know what I mean? He always supported me.
You know, think about the records we made, like for free, I'm on one. I want to go. Let me just tell you, I'm on one. I need to ask the question right because to me, it feels like when you said, that's my brother, it feels like he feels that way about you. And what I'm saying is, when I don't listen toil, I'm on one. I felt like if he was at a place in his career where he was doing what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. He's still doing that, I know, but you
know what I'm saying, But that's what got there. So he could have been like, so was that something I made at the studio? That's something he sent you. So I was on tour with Wayne Um and Ross was on that shore too, and me and Drake would go in the studio. I would and our records for Ross, like Astain Martin, I was. I was. I was there when he when he recorded some of that. You know,
you know Rass said it to him. But I end up being the studio seeing some of the creation and of course Um, you know, working on my projects, and we always talk about doing something. And he blessed me, He blessed me, He blessed me with a verse and the hook. Yeah, I'm on one. So he blessed me like he he loved me. He wants me to win. So he's like, your Cali, check this out. And I'm like, who beat was there? Um? T minus did that one? So I'm like, what the fuck? I said, Yo, let
me finish this. Let me go let me you know, because I'm big in collaborations, big in the unity, I'm saying, and I said, let me finish this. I'm gonna go get Wayne and I'm gonna go get Ross. And I'm on tour with Wayne and Ross, I'm saying. So I'm like, um, we're gonna get this ship done. What I'm saying, like, so I get the ship done. Um, And you know he blessed me man like and from every step of the way from mixing the record, Um, you know we were you know, I was a part of me and
I said, my guy lu Diaz to Canada. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, And was on the face time. I remember when he when he sent me the verse. I was in Atlanta and this is the first time you word together. I'm on one. I'm on one. No, it's not fed up. He did like eight bars um just before he like blue Blue. You know what I'm saying. This is like when he was mixed tape. You know I'm saying, and I'm on one one of my biggest
records ever. What I'm saying. And I was in the club and he texted me like, Yo, I'm gonna send you something. So I run to the hole til I leave the club. He sent you text me like yo, I said, Yo, I'm in a clock. I get out. I'm a different city, Like I'm running to the hotel. I went and bought champagne. Batter fact, it's on. I filmed it. You know in newt Days, you the face time was the liftime how He's like, yo, hit me at Skype. He's like, you hit me after you here.
So I'm skyping and I'm like, Yo, this ship called I'm a boy Like you know what I'm saying. So now I'm like, oh ship, we made it. You know what I'm saying. We got one. And he loved me so much that he blesses me. You know what I'm saying. When you work with Drake, anybody that works with Drake, and I know a lot of artists, you know when you interview and they ever worked with Drake, you know, nine out of ten, Drake is going to say, here's the record. You know what I'm saying. Let me tell
you when you work with Drake, that's what you want. Yeah, exactly. So I am not always j a producer. I am a Hannah. I am a music exactly a real music man. Never ever deny fucking hits. You don't never do that. That's what a real exact music man is. And you know what they say that a lot of people, a lot of people when they say, like Kanye, you'll send Kanye record, he'll send you back. Still he's picking the production when he's giving it. I mean yeah sometimes and
sometimes we go in the studio and play vibes. It's just it's it's it's called a relationship trusting. Yeah, it's called energy, you know, because you're still you still gotta you know, finish the record and we still gotta talk about how we're gonna do this. It's a lot of work behind the ship back. The end of the day is um, he loved me so much that he blesses me. He don't just say this is a feature. He treats this like this is this is the video? Were the
best over? Yo? This family, you know what I mean, And this is this is something that we're gonna do and they're gonna talk about this forever. You know what I mean. You know you see me in Canada, uh on that we're the best jack that. You know what I'm saying. Back and forth. We're working. I'm not fucking modeling, you know what I'm saying. Especially I'm flying and fucking Toronto. My son. Can I tell you about this new record? Yes, please talk about this new record this time. My son,
my son Alarm, it's five months old. The day he was born, he was born like at eleven o'clock or something like that, seven in the morning. I was on a jet to Toronto. I kissed my queen and my son. I said, Yo, I gotta go, Daddy, gotta work. I got kids. Jump on the jet to Toronto, Drake. I'm in town. I go to the NBC's house is called the Embassy, Okay, and we've been talking about working together. We go in the studio, me and him. We catch
your vibe and energy. We played basketball. We're kicking it. You know, we're walking the studio. Um cloth talk going on. You know what I'm saying, That energy can't say everything. I'm saying. Family and we talked about making music. That's one session. That's I'm trying to tell you he's part of creating. That's one session. I leave. I have to go do All Star. Now to reminder, my set alarm got born. Daddy gotta go work. I go to All Star former All Star. After I ripped down All Star.
I'm eating at this Italian restaurant. Italian restaurant. It's also it was in Chicago right freezing. Um. I'm sitting down eating calamari. I get a face time. It's my brother Drake. He said, Yo, what you're doing tomorrow without him? Without let me say how? I answered him. I'm gonna be in Torowhanto at the embassy. I'm on the way. I don't question with six. Guy calls me. I get to Torano. You know a salt. That salt is the restaurant. That restaurant,
I'm sure you own a piece of It's incredible. So it's closed, said, cago, have something to eat? Didn't come by the embassy? Did ship closed? He called the chef, the owner, everything, whoever running They open it up for. I go in there. They treat me like a king. I'm eating pasta, gaining five pounds. Uh, calamari fish that look like from Italy. You know what I mean. The champagne coming out and they're talking out they want you to sit in there, Drake sweet, you know what I got.
I'm watching. I documented it on the Instagram by saying nothing. I'm just giving you the experience. You know what I mean. I landed. I remember landing in Toronto. The driver he started talking about Canada and Toronto. So I said, I said yo. He's like, um, he asked me a question. I was in the back. He goes, Cadi, how do you how do you spell Toronto? I'm like, d r Hey, Now, let's not get this confused. So I go to the crazies and so I go to the Cristic is the
second session. So the second session, he's not you're coming, want you to hear something. So I hear it. I'm losing my mind. This is the record that's coming out right now. We're talking about when it comes, it's coming. Do I know when it's coming? I don't do. We know the name of it, I do, but I can't say it. The reason why because we're coming out next we gotta give everything a presentation and um, and my
fans deserve it. And I love my fans. They know how we get down with Kalin and Drake get together, it's always a presentation. And so we're listening to the record and we're coming up with our ideas and ship like that, you know, you know, talking talking video. We're talking a bunch of ship and like it. I left. They're very happy, you know what I'm saying. Um, And it's special because my son was born. I went straight to Toronto to create another historic moment, you know what
I mean? And you know it's coming what I'm saying, And I'm working on my new album what I'm saying, But right now I'm focused on that. You know I'm saying. You know, but that's my brother. He loved me, know what I'm saying. He loved me. He loves me, Drake. This is this is I call this Drake. Let's the spreads and ship. He'd be drinking I'm saying, he'd drink wine with with like I call it, Drake. Okay, what is it? What is in there? I don't even know? He told my text my chef the ingredients. I see
him drinking that on the ground all the time. Yeah, I thought it was Santa Marcarrio with soda and unbelievable. Yeah, unbelievable. But we listen to college. We don't don't know, if you know. Our show was about celebrating people's accommissements, celebrating hip hop, celebrating you know, in this day and time, so many people want to wash people off. Because you've got ten years in this game or whatever you've been in this game forever. You're kicking ass, you monkey foot
and doing what the funk you gotta do. And we want to tell you face to face how much we love you, how much we home team. That's the reason why the thing is, this is Miami. I'm going to raise him. You want to clip what Mad sent. I might never be a Miami guy, but I lived in Miami for the beast. But I'm a New York guy. But when this this was born and raised, drink Chaps has has been birthed in Miami. So that's why I was so important for us to have you because you Miami.
Yeah you a Miami statement. Before you move here, we always looked at you as rapp in Miami because you came here, so much. You know what I mean. We love you, so we were hold on. You can't flip it on me. It's about you right now. You've been trying to prove it on me because you're a good guy. But listen, we can't do it today. Today, it's about you. Today, it's about you, and we wanted to let you know we're proud of you, brother, like we've seen you from
the beginning, hustling, doing whatever you had to do. And trust me, where you at now and the accomplishments you made me and the brother first, I know I can speak for him as well, and he can speaking on his own. We're proud of you, broke. He want you to continue to do what you gotta do and make some other noise for college. But now we're gonna go. We're gonna go, We're gonna go deeper. This is drink champ. Let's do it. Let's do it. Joey Cracks FaceTime, Holy Moti,
I'm not answering FaceTime. I hit you back, and you want to go. I wanted to go back to the temple. You brought up the temple. We gotta go back to me. That's like a big that that that marks the whole arrow in Miami. The temple. Yeah, so okay, hold on, let me because me being the outside him the temple is your birthday for my birthday party every year. Okay, there's two part questions because you as you said the temple, right, but why did you call it the temple? Um man?
You know, I was you know, Kara Swan is one of my biggest you know, he's definitely one of my favorite mcs um But like I am, you know, I'm Arabic. What I'm saying, I'm Palestinian um and just I love I felt like the Temple to become party inside the temple and like the temple hip one um hip hop, like he said in a bunch of records, I'm saying and and actually I don't think I got it from him saying it that it was just a connection, you know what I'm saying, and and and it was it
just connected. And he would you know, I remember he would freestyle at my show and say at the temple and this isn't that so um, It's definitely inspired, but I wanted to you know, I'm Arabic, so I just felt like the temple was some super dope and it was my birthday party and we do it every year and in Miami knows it's one of the biggest parties in Miami. Um and I made it not about me. I made it about hip hop. What I'm saying where my goal was just trying to bring every DJ and
every artist together. It started off with like me Tony touch O, c Me had South Brox and Brox and Fay South Beach, Me Facto and Punn you know. Then I had something with me, you know, Wu tang Ye Cleft Cannabis. Then he got to like DMX every Daddy and then the t I you know whatever era as
a kid, whatever era was popping. I had the major lineup, like the major lineup and no, no, no, no. You can mark history by like Miami hip hop history and say, remember this year Temple, This is this year of the Temple, this year people, because it's legendary. No, it's it's true and legendary and bust the rhymes and what year you started it? I came. I'm trying to think when I came to six, it had to be not I think
I came to Miami three no earlier than that. Now, I think it was I think Big Ton when when when before pun before pun one? Is not any six no before puns before number four, before before Big Punta recorded twins And that wasn't even the first when was um oh see yeah, that's time was ni n It had to be like ninety now that three. You gotta be in that that thing that came into Miami in
the nineties, for sure, you know what I'm saying. Um, And it was just it came from here to here the year and end up being like it was guaranteed sold out. If the club would be sold out and it'd be like ten thousand people outside, that ship made gave me the biggest high. Knowing that we're rampacked and there's ten thousand outside, you know what I'm saying, not being rare like the true And besides the performances, the
city of Miami came out so legendary. I'm talking about every barbershop, every close uh store with you know, I used to pass albums saw almost Besides the party being so big, my marketing was so incredible because I'm passing out on the flo, I'm riding a fight with a banner, I'm rapping tour buses, I'm on every mic, hijacking every club.
You know, so coming the party, you know, you know what you know, and don't forget my dj and styles wasn't regular, like no, not being really how one of the DJs like, oh ship, he's here, he's about to come fun the place up and he's not coming like to just play music. He coming like to make fucking history. When I walk out, that motherfucker, they say, who's that? You gotta remember I came before they had Instagram and tweets and and and all that ship They said, who
was that guy? My name saying in the streets, calgo broken the mud, you know what I mean? That's just spread it everywhere, you know what I mean, from Jamaica to Brooklyn, the motherfucking Carol City. How did you photo love with reggae because a lot of your style feels like the most DJs in Florida period, South Florida specifically, they're gonna be wolvers and reggae and hip hop. Yeah what Miami's a Caribby in place. But but but I was.
I was from a baby around Roster and like, um, you know, Bouja Bantam my brother, you know what I mean? Bound to Killer. Yeah, he just dropped the albums out right now, gonna get that. So the the dancehall culture was as much as I love the hip hop culture. Is how much I love the dancehall culture. And if you listen to like my last album at Holy Mountain, you know, he's a real speaking of my was done that that was like one of years ago, and but it came out probably twenty years but it was done
probably twenty seven years ago. Finally came out, and that and that movie was my man sas severa. He used to stay with me and we was brothers, and I up doing the music and he wanted to do the mute movies. I'm like, Yo, we're gonna get We're gonna, we're gonna We're gonna find a way to live our dream. What I'm saying, you know, no, it's a classic. What I'm saying. I've seen that ship get made. It's too many, that's a whole another dream Champ. That's too many stories.
I don't make that contributed to your style, like the sound, because now I was already sound clashing, and that's I was so nice to do Rocket's Island Madhouse. But before that, I was always like I grew. I was born hip hop like I breathe eat sleep hip hop. I was born like this, yeah, you know saying, but I also was born with the dance hall culture too. And that's why Jamaica love me so much because you know, not they don't know Calid for where he's at right now.
They know Cali from the mud, uh, you know, going to places that people can't even go to in Jamaica, you know what I mean, And ripping, sound clashing and and all right on another to this day, I wrapped um, but it's the love on another. I love Mountain. Yeah, you know every party. Every record has a different story, what I'm saying, from records getting made, everything has a
different story, you know what I'm saying. That's what I love about making music, Um, making albums, you know what I mean, even in the process, because everything has a different story. Like Wild Thoughts, you know one of my biggest records. You know, when I produced that, I was saying to myself, the only way I'm gonna make that record.
Like I had the record, I was like me as a producer, I'm saying to myself, the only way I would let this go if I can get Rihanna and not it's gonna seeing my drive until I can get I put Bryson Tiler on there. Yeah, put Bryson Tiler on there. And you know, I'm a fan of Bryson Tiller. He's incredible. He's very talented, and I wanted to do a collaboration where you didn't expect. First of all, Rihanna is the biggest. I put Till on there, and of
course I got to prove. You know, when you work with a big artist like Rihanna, you know it's okay. I'm saying not not no disrespect, but that's just out of respect. And she loved the idea. She did that for me. Everything has it. It's just everything has a different story. But that's what I love about making this musical, but not even just making it, I love all show.
Being behind the scenes. I've been behind the scenes. There's so many classic ship you know what I mean, as a kid growing up and then as a music executive. The rooms I've been in, it's unbelievable. I've worked with jay Z, Kanye, Beyonce. You worked with jay Z after he said, um ain't nobody working with the future with some ship. But he had Future on the record, which one nobody you know, ain't nobody playing Future with my son?
And you know, I never really got into that. But I know that jay Z is a great man, and no futures are great man. I know at that time, Um, obviously it was I don't think it could be something because I came to Future in jay Z and we did a record call I Got the Keys. I don't, I don't. I don't even know you know what I'm saying. I to be honest you, um, but the blessed is that I got Future and jay Z on the record. I got the keys the Future. I love Future being
him making incredible records together. You're saying, And jay Z, that's my brother, what I'm saying, And Future my brother, and we made I got the Keys, I remember making I got the Keys. Um. Jay Z put on all his chains when he did his verse, every single chain on what I'm saying. Um, when we made top Off, you know it said, you know I came to him, And that's another record I did with jay Z, Future and Beyonce. I came to jays Yeah, top Off the may Back and I made Shining with jay Z and Beyonce.
Record I produced. You know what I'm saying. So I was saying to myself, like, on top off, I came to jay Z to get it on, get on it. He got on it, and when he played me his verse, I was like, I got an idea, Why don't you bring the queen in right here? That's a crazy question to ask. You gotta have you gotta be strong to ask that. Yeah, you got and I'm scared. I was scared, But I'm like, you know what, I wouldn't be calid without trying. You know. Let what I said. I said,
you know I'm not afraid to be told no neither. Yeah. If I be told no, you know me what that second? Because So when I played it for him, I was so excited. I got jay Z on another record it's j yeah yeah. Now I was like, now I can see you coming from I was so excited. I was just like, Joe, imagine you bringing in the queens? Did
second thinking? Though? Your second thinking? The reason why I said thinking second back where we outside, that's how we sweat the reason why I did second guessing for a second second think it to say it is because I just got them making a record with them called shining, and that's a whole another story. I gotta tell you that story. So so you felt like you were doubling down.
But I'm drinking the right thing about it too. We're drinking that good A reason why I said, it's nothing wrong for me asking when you make good music, you made great music, and you've got great chemistry and got great energy with somebody, Well, I just do one. Let's keep going. And that's how I feel about every artist I work with, Drake Ross, Future Brain. If you listen to my albums, my goal is to continue to work
with all these great artists. If you look at it, if you can rentinue to like Rihan, if you look at great directors and great people producers, look at Adam Sandler, you look at Ben Stiller. They always used the same exactly people. Chemistry is nothing wrong with it as long as you made great music and the fans love it. What I'm saying, Um, So I just brought up to Jay. You know, Jay always give me this look like call you you know, but as a friendly that's my brother.
And I've seen this thinking hope, you know, like thinking like come on, you know the queen you know, say, I just leave. I'm already happy I got you. He's like, y'all, it's like a thing. Like a week later, I'm already ready to mix the record. I remember I was in the back of a fantom with the fucking stars on it and this chilling. It was like a nighttime in l A And he's like, yo, texting me come to
the crib. I come to cribs. Beyonce there. So I'm like, oh, ship, they played me the record and it's Beyonce on that. I'm losing my mind. Oh oh, so they didn't tell you she's on there. You just think you coming to career for someone. I'm already happy. I'm always grateful. That is gonna clear it. I'm good I got hold. Beyonce is on there. Now I'm losing, you know, I'm you know, when when Beyonce in the room, I'm like in the corner.
I get nervous, as you should. I just want to say hi, and I want to leave because I'm just like, yes, she got so much. She's it's Beyonce and she acts normal, but she's not normal that she's incredible. But let me tell your story. Not only they did top off, you know, I gave. You know, I produced a record called Move Forever on Beyonce's Lyon King. They played me that too before I came out, So I'm getting top. Yes, double whammy. I see how I was feeling. I'm like, we're the
biggest work with working jay Z and Beyonc. I did and also produce a record with Beyonce on another record that's not even that's for her. I'm like, what the fuck? I left that crib like yo, I told my woman. I told us saw. I'm like, yo, we out of here. You were saying that other house. Yeah, just so, um, you know, I was blessed, blessed that have two cribs in Miami. I saw one of them. Um, and I want to shout out Danger too, because he did some
programming on Moved Forever with me. That's my man. Also, Um, there's a version of Move Forever that just Blaze did like a breakdown to you know, saying when you when you work with Beyonce, you know, I'm saying she produced some of it. I did, and and then you know other people got involved, and that's just a beautiful thing because, um, you know, working with Beyonce, you don't know, like you
shot music or something. You don't know what you you know, you say you wake up in the morning and it's Chris. I'mnna be honest. You're not supposed to know when you work with Beyonce. Whatever she's saying, you just shut the funk up and roll with it. In my opinion, and the biggest in the game, biggest you gotta she put she helped change my life. Bro. She put me on
on formation tour. I'm saying she um Jay and Beyonce put me on the Run tour Like I'm forever grateful for beyond st jay Z what they've done for me, and they're shining together. I'm gonna tell your story. I go to Puffer is on the road with you at one time, right, I go to puff crib be sitting there. He comes out. He goes, Man, I'm tired of ship. I said, what's going on? He said, following college on tour, paying my own bus. He said, but call is the
only guy give me to do this. It was hilarious, said, I kid you not. That's that's the first thing he said to me. He said, Yo, Man, College, He's the only guy could give me to do this. I wouldn't. I wouldn't followed him on the whole door and I
paid my own bill and I didn't even mind. I said, this was the touring with Beyonce jay Z. Like it's that's the love, you know what I'm saying, the love that people will come on my set, and like from Puff to every artist, me goes the let's go on every single I don't want his name one or two because everybody came, what I'm saying, and it was just so much love, man like, and I'm forever grateful to be able to get on the stage and perform at a stadium sold out every single night with the two
biggest artists, jay Z and Beyonce, and he was bringing out guests every night. I'll bring out guests. What I'm saying. I would do my set, my DJ set, and then I come with like a a like like thirty artists, you know what I mean, and people would would so fly in like Puck did, and you know be like, yeah, I got you, got you, got you, Kaleg. It was just it was beautiful you I'm saying um, and like you know, we made UM the shoting record. And when I made the Shoting Record, yeah, that's what I mean.
I remember hearing that sample one time. I was at um Uma Private Room eating Susie and Ship and it's his record came on. I'm like, shoot, I wanna sample that ship one of the restaurant you can pull up in the boat. This was in New York. I was in New York, so I heard a sample and I'm like, Ship, I'm gonna go sample that ship. I'm saying, so we got the sample. Um um sample idea came from me
being at the restaurant, so I heard it. But you know, to get Beyonce was I came to see Jay and I've seen Jay at um uh at his office in New York and I played him. I said, can I come play you some ship because I come through. So I brought my speaker. I played him to beat and he was just like so when I've seen his head moving right like like mean like this, I said, oh Ship, so I want like this, I'm saying. He's still like this and I'm like, oh Ship. So I went like this,
you know what I'm saying. And then then I saw seeing him like like like in his head. Oh Ship, So I'm looking at lett me now I'm like letting to look like, you know, let me you know, got his hat on he you know, because he got love for me and that's that's his Yes, his big homie. So he's like trying to hold still composure you know what I'm saying, Like, no, not playing side You'm saying. So I'm like, oh, Ship, I think we so boom.
He's like, yo, you know, leave that with me. You know what I'm saying, he ain't confirmed now, and he just like leave that with me, So alright. Cool. So that night I went to um how to do something at the ESPN thing in the Barclays, How did you like a presentation and introduce what I'm saying? And le Brawn was getting honored that night, and I didn't know Jay Z was gonna introducing honor Lebron. So I just
got there seeing Jay at the office. So I'm not doing my thing at the I'll come out of backstage. I see Jay. I'm like, oh, Ship, what's something my brother you know? Sayings like that Ship is hard with you what you gave him? Like, and so I missed something in the office. I also said you should let the queen here this too, So he really looked at me, because that's the first time I asked. He really looked
at me like I was like, dude, you got me. Yeah, yeah, he's looking at me like, you know, they haven't made it and them two haven't made a record a long time, so boom. When I seen him backstage, he just gave me that look like like I'm proud of you and I'm working with it tight look. So I'm like, you know, I'm I'm I'm playing smart, not doing too much. My brother um, because I say night was the Rock Nation Christmas party, so you know I'm gonna see it at
the Rista party. I'm gonna go ahead and beat you there to it. So I go back stays and I see a bunch of SUVs and my man said, y'all think Beyonce is in. I'm like, yo, go to our car. It's not. It's just it's walk to our car and it's stay focused. We walked to the car, we get to the party. I had the party, so bone we
had the party. They ended up getting this I'm chilling and somebody grasps my touted my shoulder this and I'm like this and I turned like this and she um Beyonce goes, yeah, I like that record, something like you know, you don't get me. She touched my shoulder and music was pointing, so I think she said like something like I like that record. And first of all, when I turned my head, you know what starts stuck when I see Beyonce. So I turned my head. I wasn't sure
if it was heard. I'm trying to tell you, I wasn't sure. My mama on my kids. So I turn my head. I hear I like it. Then when I do that, I see from the hand, I see hold and he has his hands in his pocket. Now he'd be having his hands in his pocket. And he was like like, yeah, yeah, it looked like it might happen. Yeah, like subliminal reading the mind, grace read minds. You know that right, the whole Sagittarius. I'm Sagittarius, So I could you know what I mean? There's certain keys I can
I can pick up on. So it' site boom. So now I'm in New York, I get to l a Um, it's almost tord for Grammys. You know what I'm saying. You know the Rock Nation Brunch. You know I'm saying. Boom boom. So the rock Nation brunch. He's like, Um, I'm going to the rock Nation brunch. So I get a rock Nation brunch. She's like, Yo, after the brunch, come to the crib. I'm gonna play you something no matter of fact. He goes, Yo, record gut a matter of fact. Hold on the text because I want to
get everything. Is his a big moment. The text came in the night before the rock Nation run. Record done. I don't know what that means, because I mean, I know I got now, I got hold on my I'm good. But he said record done, but it was a different way. The text Reddit said record done. And I'm like, okay, I don't do too much of mine. I love you, thank God. Boom boom. And then he's like, after the brunch, come to the crib. So I go to the brunch. I see put there's a picture of me, um puff
and Hold. I don't know it's a picture in and I'm looking at Hold like this, and Hold was telling me at that moment, hold your head high and walk around this event and hold your head high because the record done. I'm walking around this mother like nobody knows. So I'm walking around the man told me to hold my head high. I'm walking around the whole brunch like this. I go to the crib, Beyonce is on the record. Beyonce and holds on the record. T I comes walking
in like dirty minutes later. He heard it. Um, there's a few people heard it, and I'm bugging out like I'm it's my it's my DJ on the record. No, no, it's already on the road, my record, my record. It comes with they don't come first. That's a big fucking abdue my motherfucking another snow. It's a fucking hit. Alright, alright, play with if you want. But I'm losing my mind. So check this out. You know, the Grammys to Sunday. So I got the record, I'm not good. I'm gonna
mix it. I gonna click the sample. You know what I'm saying. I got time, You know I ain't. Don't. No, I ain't got no player where I want to drop it. You said, I'm gonna get it already, get the art work, mix it. You know what I mean, take my time. I still gotta do my my ship to it, my producing to it, drops this, that and that. He's like, yo, let's dropping ship Sunday and this, you know the bunches on Saturday. I said, I said, ho, I gotta clear
to sample. It's Sundays, you know the Lord, everybody it could a sample and then I gotta mix it. You know, I still want to go in there and do my thing to it. He looked at me, like, I know you ain't tripping, right, I said, no, I ain't tripping. I said, I ain't tripping. The record almost bust it, I said, I said, no, I ain't tripping. I'm saying I gotta clear the record. Like I don't want to. I don't. We don't want to get suld. I said,
I see where you're going. He basically saying, make it happen. So I'm like, I leave. I got every you got my lawyer, I got everybody. Or we got to create a sample right now, Callie, I don't give a funk. This is CALLI, jay Z and Beyonce, just Beyonce and jay Z on this record. But let me they're gonna pick up. But let me ask you, do you say that with clear the sample that you say that sometimes I don't. Sometimes I don't know this one. I had
to they know eventually bout about this one. I had to because I need them to answer now you know what I'm saying. So they cleared it right away. I ain't sleep. Who was a sample by? I forgot that the exact name. It was like some like overseas type thing. I'm saying, somebody who needed that check. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. To be honest with you, I told you I heard a ship in the restaurant.
That's a good team. Because Sam did here something my sysam it you know, like I say old record or something. So that's all You're gonna be the next motherfucker just now now no no, she's saying, we're here but big commercial for you. But what I'm saying is so now I'll get the record mix, I'm making the artwork. I
got it cleared. It's Grammy night. I'm getting the record approved from jay Z and Beyonce while they're at the Grand be and it's coming out that night because Hole said this car up Sunday, It's coming out that night. I got l a read everybody, I got Silvere Rohme, I got everybody, epic, everybody a whole like mean, like you know, have it ready once I get the approval that they cool with the mix and everything. They approved it backstage or underway to their seats. I don't know
how they approved. I'm sitting there's my first time getting nominated. My I'm got nominated major key programming from I think. So I'm sitting here like stressed out. Um, I get the Texas approved. It's coming out midnight. It came out midnight that night actually came right after the Grammys. It was over Foam let it go and we made history. Record went number one on radio, and I was just grateful man to to be able to work with the
King and Queen. I'm saying I was again. Um, jay Z Beyonce, if you're watching this with you know Drink Champion is the biggest show. Thank you so much. I'm very grateful for your relationship, your friendship, and thank you for believing me when it comes down and making music and produce some records and just just being here for me. I appreciate you make some noise for that, goddamn it. What's dump about these stories too, is that someone would say, oh,
it's easy, how he gets these records done. It's done, and you know, I have an answer for that I love when I hear that, let me see you do it, Let me see you do it? What you think my records just appear? No? No, I mean you had Nas. I love. No, I'm asking you like you had Nas on um joints where like Nass literally working on this album. NAS album done, NAS album done that as I was going to. But what is your specialty to get these artists? Were not Nas another brother that I love and Nas.
Nas loved me and I love him. I am a NAS fan on another level. And it's coming his friend for so many years. I've known Nas for so long. It's so beautiful, beautiful that he's my friend. You know what I mean when I check on him. We filmed that video in bhamas Um that record. So when I work with Nas, I always try to tell Nas right when I started making an album, Like say I started
making an album tonight just started. I try to get my NAS record and sent to him now because I know it's not gonna come a minute, it's gonna come how the process. He shows you how focused I am I'm making records. So I'm like, yo, let me give it to him now. First you gotta like it. And I know when it's gonna come, it's called the day before that I'm gonna get done, or maybe sometimes a
week before. But me and him made so many great records together that we have this bond that you know, when I tell him I need it, you know what's jenuine, I need it right away. You gotta love the record, what I'm saying, And met him make great records together. You know what I'm saying. We really do. And you know I just talked to him, I think about three
weeks ago to tex him send him love. You know what, you hit me back, show me love and U I love dude, what I'm saying, like, we made great records together, and we shot We had the best time shooting that video on the Bahamas. We was like, you know, I felt like a drink were chilling and and I feel like that's a classic what I'm saying. Yeah, by the way, hold on, I'm not gonna lie. I've never drink this rose fast. You know. Uh, the wood tapping best lookers
followed them on Instagram. God damnit, you already know that. But this came from Eline Mo. Motherfucking um. It's a spade. You know. She gave us the rose. She gave us rose. I haven't drink rose in a minute. I've been staying away from sugar. But today, Uh and do say we're some motherfucker answer rock God damn makes some noise for that, goddamn and Columbian White Columbia. We're only keeping the hip hop.
We're only keeping the family when you're keeping it. That So let's get into a couple of artists that you you've you've worked with and put on, Um, how about flipped the narrow. That's that's that's your artist now flipping the best. Very excited about him, very very excited about him. Um, you know we put out leave Me Alone. My partner up with Shikes. You know, cinematic, so we partnered up together and we got flipped on. We the best cinematic epic.
And um, we put out leave me Alone when double platting and put out how I Move a little Baby, shot a little baby love working with a little baby. Um, and that went. Um, I think platinum. Um, I think it's going about to be platinum, and we're about to come with the album. He dropped the mixtape. Very excited
about him. His growth is just getting don't be from Brooklyn know what I'm saying, And we're going signing some more artists and um, there's a lot of things I'm doing in uh this year that I'm probably gonna announce about just the brand. As far as the label side, We're bringing some more people on the on board and
the international artists. Um, we ain't got nobody international right now, but you know, we're looking for greatness and saying like you know, you can't never really know when something's gonna come to your table to come because you know, music is a is a feeling, is survibe and then the way we're the best is running. It's running like it's a family. You know. I'm so it's just gotta fit and it gotta fit for both of us whoever we work with, and it just it just happens, not like
one day I'm just looking to sign anyone. It just I wanna hears something that's so incredible that makes me want to be a fan. But you talk about how difficult it is sometimes as a CEO, because as a CEO, you have everything in and in in this atmosphere you can you can reach any artists, and then you get these artists and you give them the same platform that you have, but they might not reach the deal with that. I mean no, you know me for a long time. You know me for a long time. I go hard
for everyone I go. I don't think nobody go harder. Um, I promote hard for everyone. I try to push you to be great for everybody, not just artists, people that if it's Ivan Kiko. My friends that work with me has been down with me from your patty. I pushed them to be great. I want them everybody. We gotta be great. We gotta be great. You know, we're a family. You know what I'm saying. So um, but as a human,
you gotta know how far you want to go. I'm saying, you know, if you could be presignory all my life and I'm like, you know, you gotta go harder. You know this and that and that. Some people, you know, it's a decisire you have to make. I'm not saying people don't go hard, I know, but some people go hard. Is that about that? It's just everybody got their own
way of doing things, no matter what. But me as a friend, and that's somebody that is working with you as a partnership, I'm always gonna put you to be great what I'm saying, And everybody works hard, but everybody got their own way of doing ship, the same way you got your own way doing your show. You were really particular, how do you want your show? Everybody got their own way of doing ship, and you have to respect that. I love that what I'm saying, But how
hard is it? Like when you're executive and I'm just suing the executive column and I ain't talking to the brother college the brother cause everyone knows you have the one of the most purest hearts in the world, right, But what happens when you're invested into an artist and and you you're digging into a hole almost like a boat. Like people say, don't never buy a boat, because if
you buy a boat, it just keeps thinking down. So what part what time does you say you're like, you know what, it's not working through you step away or how does that work? Um? You know what I mean? I never step away really to be honest with you. Um, you know it's you. You're welcome here no matter what unless you do something disrespect for a violation. What I'm saying, that's just anything. But we're not We're nobody no. So, um, if you want to be here, let's go. Let's walk
to the wheels fall off. He said about if you win in is now, I know it takes time. I come from nothing, man like, I didn't start overnight, but I know where it takes to get there. I don't you know, callid callid me. I never. I don't give up, um, And so I'm not gonna give up on nobody else either, unless they want to not be here. And not being here doesn't mean you don't love me, don't like me. You know I'm saying. People grow. What I'm saying, I've grown,
I've moved situations. So but I always kept my relationships with everybody I've been with. There's nobody, there's nobody can talk bad about Caled. And somebody talks bad about Caled, then you need to really look at them. You can't please everybody. If somebody talks bad about cal, you really need to look at them. You know what I'm saying. And and and at the end of the day is um, I'm blessed that nobody really talked bad about me. What I'm saying, you know you no, we all are human.
I'm sure somebody I said this, that, and that. But at the end of the day, is come on, I can't see somebody saying something bad about Noriega because I know Noriega pure. You know what I'm saying. But at the end of the day, is I represent pure? You know what I'm saying. It's love always right, and that's the thing. I'm just gonna push everybody to be great. That's what I do. And everybody know me know that. That's real ship. I gotta make some noise for that. So he wanted to go now, I want to go
more old school Miami show. I want to know you got any stories with like Uncle out Man, Uncle Al one of my favorite DJ's uncle I me and him did um. We did the Luke Show together. And before the Luke Show me I knew you had the stories. I just wanted you to tell me, said, you just talk about the radio show. Um. Even before the radio Remember he had a Luke Show, jay Z and he
had girls show. But we gotta set the stage. The LUO on nine nine Jams was so big because we didn't have a hip hop mixed show on commercial radio like that, a regular first time really hip hop plane. So it was huge and we didn't know. The beat wasn't around yet. It was just nine jams and and that was huge. Miami was run by the Underground Radio and which which Uncle I was a part of. Yeah, King, Uncle I was a king. He's a legend. He is somebody I look up to. His style was, um, you
know I always tell great DJs. You know, we're not just a DJ, we're an artist too, And he was a perfect example of being a DJ and an artist. And he put records out. You know, he's he's a he's a legend and I'm honored to be his friend. He loved me and I loved him. And then we end up doing the Luke Show ran your show together too, and I was just even more incredible. I would do my ship, he would come with his style. We did
clubs together. He's a legend. You know, I'm saying somebody to this day that, um, I'm inspired by and somebody that is a good man with a good heart. And his slogan was piece in the Hood, you know, same piece in the hood. Like he brought love to the hood. Like he's this incredible person. Um, let's putting put it up one time for Uncle. So m what made you say, know what, I'm gonna start putting on my own records. You know what I mean, because I get you know
you're a DJ, your producer. But then you said, you know what, let me go in and make my own album. But wait before you answer that, actually, do you remember Caress won't performed a cameo. I was there and so I'm already on my mixtape ship and I'm I come back there with this digital four track and you were spending that night and then you came back there and I'm getting a freestyle and then you're like, get me a freestyle. If that's I know you you got freestyles
on the radio. But I almost think that because that ended up on the mix tape he did with Tony Touch if I'm not wrong, And I was like, I think I got calls first verse ever. Man, it's crazy because um, you know that show was legendary, totally touching Caress. It was it was carrass no no. But he did a mix tape yeah, big promote the Miami shot a Booger and Humberalian crew authoring the whole crew and Carre Swan.
When I tell you, cameo was so rampact. The only time I've ever seen it like that was when the food Jis came and it was just an energy that's just unbelievable. And um he brought me out on stage and he just picked me up, just shouted me out like yo, DJ call. I'm saying, boom bo and I think he did the tennis ball thing. You know what I'm saying, Cass, this is the same show. It's not the same show. He does a tennis ball, but he ball. I didn't know special what. I've never seen this show
caress one, so I felt offended. Chris. You know, it was just like I'm trying to remember that moment, but I do remember the style I have it. I haven't still you have the four track, and I remember because because cars One called the four track. I used to take that around everywhere. He said, this is the Mini Chunk King studios right here, and it was him. And what was the dude that he was with, Durrell Durrell. Durrell was an artist he was rolling with at the time.
I remember. I think his manager was West. Yeah, I think it was West. His name was West Legend. But I haven't Yeah, you put it out, you put another tape but I got the tracks, want that. I want that ship. Okay, we have to address this. Rick Ross got on the back of his record. He said he had a whole thing addressing baby. But he said, what hurt me is, brother Colin? What do you say? He said, Well, hurt me is whatever happened with you and my brother Colin.
I mean he was bigging me up. You're talking about the how does become rivals? Yes, yeah, he was big in me. My brother count is blessed, he's showing me love. And uh, I mean Ross loves me his family. You know that. I do know that that's my brother. Um. You know, not only do we make music together, not only was um. I was blessed that he had me as a and R a lot of his albums. But he's my friend, you know what I'm saying, my friend, um, And I'm just proud to be his friend. And and
just you know, I love his family. And you know, I think when he made that record was more like you know, Ross has always been a big brother, not just for me, but for a lot of people. And he's like a big brother in the game, you know, like you know, we look at jay Z is big homie you know, I look at rosss like big brother, and he was just basically what I'm saying. He just
cared about his people, you know what I mean. And at the end of the day is I know Ross always has great intentions to everything because he's a real person that he would come to the table. You know, you're a real man, like any situation could be a problem or no problem. A real man should come to the table. And you know, and me and you had a situation, whe should get on the phone or go come to the table. You know what I'm saying. And you know it can't be that serious not to be
able to go to the table and fix it. Um, he was just showing me love. He was bigging me up, showing me love. And um, I've loved for bird Man, I've loved for Ross, Ross, you know, his family, And at that moment, at that time, was more like Roster saying, you know, I just got out my situation with cash money, and I appreciate cash money everything they've done for me. Um, and not just speaking about cash money. I used to be on Cosh. Remember Fact Joe brought me Fact Joe
got me my first deal with Cotch. Joe Crack. I love you for that. You know what I'm saying. He believed, he believed in me, and he believed in me to get me a deal at Cosh Records. From Cosh Records, I went to, um, was we taking over? Let me tell you something that's I'm gonna be honest. I don't even know if I ever told you this. I've been around you so much and I've never told you this. That's one of my top five. That's why when I
hear why you know why? When I moved to Miami, that was like the first record, like when I was like finally was like and I just heard that ship everything. I loved that. Right, I'm gonna sucker for not telling you that a long time ago. You know, I'm just saying I should have said that. That record like We're taking Over and I'm so Hood changed my life? Those are those too? Like my life? And what came first? I'm so Hood? Or were taking over first? Then I'm
so Hood? Okay, okay, And those two records changed my life. And I want to shout out Joe Krack for getting me to deal with I don't grund black? Was we the best? Ts cos Um? And then After that, I think I went to UM. I ended up being president of Deaf Jam and Jeff Jam South you know as
an a and on. Then I end up getting my label deal with had a label deal at Death Jam, and then after I left Death Jam label deal I had UM, I did a deal with Cash Money Universal, and after Cash Money Universal, I went to We're the Best epic. What I'm saying, so you know now, so
describe described thus transition from catch so from catch. So that's what the reason why I'm bringing out all these deals is because I want to let the new artists know, even if you had a bad deal, be grateful, because I was grateful for every single deal I ever got, because it's a learning experience to get a better one, and after you get a better one, you learn more and you learn more. Me I'm a grateful guy. I don't have nobody ever did me wrong, nobody, not one person,
because I am grateful for the opportunity. When you get an opportunity, is you gotta be grateful now, So no one did you wrong? In your eyes, No nobody get me wrong, because at the end of the days, we're all men, and at the end of the days, That's why I said, we can come to the table. Sometimes you grow, you know what I'm saying. Earlier in my career, I might have made my first deal, might have been twenty dollars. But look at me now. I'm a CEO,
I'm DJ Callett, I have eleven albums. I'm working on my twelfth album. I have a brand called We the Best. I own my masters. Uh this I mean, look at me, like, honestly, I'm grateful. You know what I'm saying, Like you know what I'm saying. Like, and I learned through my process. I'm sure nor when you first got to um So anybody ever worked with appreciate them. I love them. Uh, And to this day I don't. I don't believe in Bernard. No bridges, only God I can walk on water. Don't
burn a bridge. Only God can walk on water. The only time is I feel like it gets so serious. If somebody violates you, hurts you, you know, that's something to that point to your family, that's violation. These are opportunities I'm feeding my family. I don't call it the music business. It called the music blessing. Musically change my life. It makes me take care of my kids. I love music. Yes, you have to know how to do your business. Yes, you have to to cash money. Um it was dope.
You know what I'm saying. I was excited first of all, I'm a cash money fan. Was it was what I'm saying on Cots behalf was it like what cos I never wanted to leave Cosh And That's what I'm trying to tell you. Wasn't about the money. I loved Alan ground Black. I never wanted to leave Cossh. But my you know, I just got don't dropping. All I do was whin I'm wanting. I'm selling. I'm I'm selling records at a time where everybody thought I couldn't do it. I dropped off so hood brown paper bag. All I
do is win. We're taking over m Hue Records, huge fucking records, right and my contract is up and I'm like, yo, Alan, I stayed, but I need a bigger bag. You know what I said, because I proved myself. And what you know, I'm saying, like, you know, you gotta use of time. And what I'm saying is, you know, if you're gonna use leverage, you have to have you to bring something to the table when I brought to the table is that I make hit records. The people love me and
we're the best. Brand is getting bigger and bigger. And I was just like, and he wanted to do it, you know what I'm saying. And you know I gave him the opportunity to do it, and he tried. He tried. He tried what I'm saying. You know, his finance people wouldn't let him give him the bag I was requesting, and I was changing the business up a little, you know,
you know, I saw I wanted. And this is another thing I want to tell people to his partnership is it's actually everything works good for for different type of people. Did me. I love having a partner. I love my partners, Sarney Music, Epic Records, I love them. You know, rock Nation is my management. I love them, They're my partners. I love when my management can make money. I love when Epic and Sony can make money because we're making
money together. My business, My business is right. Though I don't have my masses, I can get my other half any time I want. I can buy any time I want to get it tonight if I want. But I don't want. I like you in business with me. When you when I make money, you make money, you're gonna want to make money with me. And you're gonna if I say I wanted, I got, I'm wanting to do this that not not not They're ready to support and
fund it. That's a blessing. It's called great partners. You know what I'm saying, Um, And I can do it the other way. I can own one of my masses tonight. I own my masses. You know what I'm saying back the end of the day is I love having great partners. You know I'm saying. You know what I mean like it's nothing like like why now you're your partner for this show? Is who? We've got three partners? But and do you love it? Yes? And I love them? Thank you.
Let's leave my partners. That's big up to title, let's big up to. Let's big up to. That's a pill. Let's not forget drink fucking chance. What I'm saying is, um me, I'm speaking for cat. Everybody's different. Every I was independent for years. I forgot before I before I went to Epics, Sony, I was independent. You know what I'm saying, like, um, and that's when my fans experienced the keys. But let me tell you that's what snapchat came. Yeah,
so listen to that. I end up my deals up, you know, leaving cash money, you know, or soon I'm broke. When I say broke me as in like I had nothing to show for and I told about I'm broke because I wasn't getting paid not it's called you know, just because I just wanted to, like just for the fans, not for me. Um. But is that what Rick Ross
was mad about? Because it felt like we're gonna get you because the thing is that what I'm trying to what I said, it broke, meaning as in, when I went in depending, I said, yo, I need to own the house. What if I stopped today, I own nothing. So I made sure I bought my last dollar. I bought my house, make sure mom and dad was straight. Now I'm on the road every day doing parties, hosting. But I was just making enough money to pay the bills I'm saying. And then I went independent. I spent
all my money on that. I changed a lot album over like two million dollars. You know, whatever show I would make, I put it into the album. This I put in the album. But I say it broke me. As in, if I made a hundred dollars, it went into the album. If I made you know, it kept putting in there. I changed a lot. Comes out it doesn't do too good. But I'm independent to this day. I still get paid off the album to this day. I still get and pay I want of that to
this day. So I know the feeling of independent. To this day, I still get paid off that album. But what I'm trying to tell you is, but it's a thing called When I went independent, my label deal was up, my publishing deal was up. I was free agent across the board. Mhm. They try to count me out even like sorry, sorry, they try to count me out. They try to finish me. I up being free agent, and guess what happens. That's what God does. I left people in my world my first time I ever let my
fans in my in my personal life through my Snapchat. No, because that's you know what I mean. You know me, I've always been like that. I don't even know what Snapchat is. My man mos and um white side of you gotta get on Snapchat. I'm like, all right, fucking what is it? So I'm at home. My album is dropped. I'm a little depressed, so I'm having my spiritual moments like I always have been called always been like that
with my flowers and that snapchat. And one day my phone broke from the jet Ski, so I wanted an Apple store. This is when you lost that sea had lost the seed. But my my phone broke. I wanted to go to jet Ski. I wanted to get a new phone. So I'm in my flip flops, white tea and my shorts like I always wear the career it. I go to the Apple store in Avare. I walked in the Apper store like you already a new phone, and the guy looks at me like like you've seen
a ghost. So I'm like, don't get twisted. The people got love for dj J. They want pictures you know they might want And he was really lost that want to see me. No he didn't know. He just see me. Like I was confused because he's like really excited to see me. So I was like after so he's like immediately showed me mad love is now. I turned my head and I see like ten thousand people in the store, fans.
The whole mall found out was in the mall and the whole store was filled with fans and they were screaming my name and talking about Major Key and bless Up and Lion and I'm like, what the fun always got love, but this was like on some beatleship store, the grill right there next to the the app store. I ain't need my house in a months because it was like the Hotmaday time November December when you start doing snaps. Yeah, that's why I start door And so
I'm like, I go home on yo. I told my girls, like, yo, you know, you know people love DJ Cally, but something going on. Ye, So boom, I go. It's New Year's time, New Year's Eve. Come, i gotta do a party in Vegas. I'll pull up my tour bus. The promoter Mike, So I get there, um um to my bus and he's like, yo, I bus pull up so people see me. Mike said, Yo, you can't come from the front. You we gotta take you through the back door. And like, I'm not, yo, bro,
what you're talking about? Bro? Like like you know what I'm saying, Like I'm going, I'm going to my room, gonna you know, I'm gonna chill out. I'm in Vegas. Nah, you can't. You can't. It's tens of thousands of people by the elevatory. They they're going crazy for you, telling about you trip it. So I go on there and I see they see me. They bump rush, So I'm saying, I mean, you know, I'm snap, y'all, what up? Room?
So I get to my room, you know, so I'm they're telling me I can't hang out because it's too crazy. I'm like, yo, bro, I'm in Vegas. I just drove all the way out here. I gotta go party. So it's out for the club. I get to the club. They take me through the kitchen back door, and the promoters like, yo, the whole club sold out, fire marshals, and Ship is insane. He's like, UM, we want to talk about um giving you a residency. You know, I know you'd come here once in a while, but now
can we do like the real deal. I'm like Ship. So from that day on, you know, my fans embracing me on another level. What happened was you know, I always tell the young world be you. You know what I'm saying, I'm always gonna be called I'm not gonna be No, I don't sound like nobody. I don't try to be like nobody. I am cald what I'm saying. And from that day on now the reason why I want to bring up the free agent world word is I'm free agent. The whole world is screaming. DJ called
the whole entire world like the world. Uh. I got every record company in the world calling, try to fly checkson Yo, we're sending you to Well, let's do a new deal and do a deal which wherever l A. Red called me. Lad is the first guy that gave me my first label deal and he gave me a huge executive position. So I never forgot that. Ten years later we reconnect. He calls me at Christmas time and says, hey, I heard your freeation. Wow, what I gotta do? That's
what He's an epic. Yeah, he's an epic now and at this time, not now, but at this time, I said, La, you know what God talking to me. You know what I'm saying. And you was there for me. You believed in me early, early, you gave me my first big check early. Let's do business. Wow, brings me the epic. He leaves epic Um. Sylvia Own was president at time. She's a chairman now at Sylvia Roma's family. She always showed me love, So hod l A and Sylvia two
people that love me what I'm saying. And Sylvia's chairman now as she loved me. And my partnership has been so great from ever since, you know what I mean, It's just been incredible. And the more of the story is I was free agent when they try to count me out, meaning as in the balls in my court. So any deal I did what's gonna be done right incredibly and a blessing, you know what I'm saying. So I just want to tell everybody out there, don't give up even when ship time go even hard, when times
go hard, go hard. When times is great, go harder. So I don't know, I ain't stopping like I don't. I make music. Brand. We're the Best is a brand we do. We do movies, TVs, we do music, We do everything. What I'm saying, we bless because I just wanted this to be just as involved as every episode ever. We always do shots. You don't have to participate. If you want to, you can poll shot in there. It's okay, It's alright, give another one, you know, because and it's
all our people's shots. We can sterilize your cup. Do whatever you want to do. Get a you know, besides the drink you haven't already because I'm having this is what I'm drinking, but I'm having another one. Um, I'm gonna go prefer with shot. You want me to take college, I mean, that's it. Um um. If it's a shot, let's go do say you're saying so do say baby. You know what I mean. We gotta do it. You gotta be right out the small flipper. Do let me
be a white all right, I'm drinking brown today. This is what we're doing. Man, happy, have the happy quarantine happy every motherfucker being here. You don't want to shot? I mean, I mean we could pure around your cup and do whatever you let me. Let me get ye, let me get That's that's one right there, but that might be too like tall. Yeah, that's ther fin ship. You know. Hey, guys, you could do that one here the plastic joint yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, that's straight from douce.
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. Water that we respect. We respect this, by the way, by the way, we respect this, by the way. We want everyone to be careful during this motherfucking time. You know what I'm saying, Um, go to And I just want to tell people like, it's not I don't think the ship spiking up is from people from Miami. It's these motherfucker's visited. Man. Get the fun, go back home, whatever you want, whatever you want, you can do, hold on, hold on, we got wait for
the ear for to come back. You don't go yeah, let's do it together college. Because our show was about digging up our artists brow and you are legend, bro ship, You've done You're broken barriers, and you continue to break barriers. There's there's things that you're doing that people can't do. And I wanted That's why I was so adamant and so like emotional about having this. It's because it's not
because of our audience. Is because your audience. I want to show you know, I want to say this to you. Know what I'm saying, you agend you a legend, and this platform right here, I recommend every artist that because you know, Normy Hand picks artists to get on here. Let's make that clear. So I'm that, but I want to I want to say that all the other great artists out there, make sure you do drink champs. Let me tell you why this is a sucker free show.
Ain't no whole ship on here, you know. And that's what I love about it is because you know, we talked about life music. Um, you give the people their flowers. And at the same time as you get people information you want to know, and you know it's coming from a good place and and and that's important that we do that for each other, you know what I'm saying. So I got nothing but respect and I'm honored to
be on here. I appreciate you. So let me just ask you when you got your first number one, right, was that a feeling like I made it? Or was it feeling like it's not enough? Well, um, I was I've been I should have a lot of number one radio number one, you know, because people because there's a Hot one hundred number one, Billboard Hot one hundred number one, and there's Billboard number one, radio number one. Okay, but
your first number one like urban. And you know what I'm saying, I've been blessed to have a Hot one hundred number one, and I've been blessed to have an urban number one. I don't rhythmic number one. You know, I don't know why they label radio number one, but whatever they label it, I had it. And the reason why I'm saying that is because I want artists to know it's a blessing to get any number one. It's
not about stunting um. But the first time I got my first radio number one was the best feeling in the world. Nor because I come from radio. Let's be clear, You and Ludicrous was probably the only people who transition. We're successful. We you know, we love a lot of people who came from radio transition and went to the artists mode. But a lot of people wasn't taking serious because I think him and are different though that what
I mean is, you know, I'm not. What I mean is a lot of other people came from radio and then so many people they were so good at radio that people couldn't take them serious. And this is a different cases where both of them were great. Dude, I think Chris Love Love was great at radio. This is me, me, me, you know, to be I come from straight the streets, right, I'm saying, um, you know, ground up, not saying nobody else did. I'm saying like I came from is a
witness to that. You're conking radio. Yeah, no, for sure. You know they told me I couldn't have a radio show. Had the number one radio show for over thirty fourteen years still to this day when I put even me, what I'm trying to tell you is me, the difference is for me, I can speak for caw it is. I didn't let nobody put me in the box. I knew I was gonna be an artist. I knew I was gonna be a great DJ. I knew I was gonna be a producer. I knew I was gonna be a and R. I knew I was gonna be a
music exactly. You know what I'm saying. I knew I was gonna be a father. I knew I was gonna be everything I'm doing now and I have a lot more still to do. I knew and when I was coming up, they had people tell me that you will do none of this ship and you should only do one thing and that's it. And I'm like, no, I'm not doing that. I'm doing everything I want to do and I'm gonna do it big, you know I'm saying. So that's this important, man, because you know when it's music.
Think about it. I should do street team. I should do street team for for this is the story. I should do street team for uh you know black Moon. You know what I'm saying. I just do everything Shampoo did, Street teams I did in Miami j once if I did it before that, I'm talking about like when before anybody before you knew me what I'm saying, Like I should do street Team Orlando, and yet I was doing the street team I was. You know I come from. I'm hip hop. So what I'm trying to tell you
is but music, hip hop music. We could do so many things hip hop. We were executives, were marketers, were a radio programmers. Where why can't you be a DJ and a radio programmer? Why can't you be a DJ and the biggest music executive? Why can't you be a D And that guy runs real estate? Why can't you? You can do whatever you want to do? You know what I'm saying. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
But where we come from, it's hip hop, and hip hop doesn't have one thing and so many things we're doing, you need a team. Like if nobody put an album out, somebody got to promote album, right, somebody gotta pass out the flies, right, everybody got different positions? Why can't we do them all? I did them all, you know I'm saying. I never relied on the I never relied on the promoter to hire me. When I used to d J, if Ian would tell you, I never relied on the
promoter to hire me to DJ. I promoted my party parties. Yeah, and the fans came out and see me. I became a demand. The promoters want to hire me then, but I still was an entrepreneur. We're doing my parties too. What I'm saying, So, what happens now? Because everything you're saying is fucking so dope? Right, But none of us has been experienced with this COVID nineteen thing, right, none of us? Right, what's the what's the new business model of trying how you to promote your new product? Now?
That suppose because you know you said you couldn't really give us all the information of what happened, But let's suppose your strategy of promote when your next single is going to the club's going to Tipico, going to you know, uh, Dominican jumped out of me. I'm sorry, Dominican. Uh, you know what I'm saying, Like, let's most that's how you usually do it, Like you go to mangals and you go to you know whatever whatever, Right, but now we can't do that. How do we? I mean we have Drake.
We made it clear that we have Drake the next single one. How do you how do you? How do you? Um? Are you thinking about the next Msiness model? Yeah? How do how do we have that plane go by? Yeah? That's right, that's right. I love your um. I never
right now the pandemic. Thank you God. I am so grateful for you because you know, I know it's hard time for a lot of people and it's tougher, but I know we're gonna come out this stronger, better and greater because this is gonna make us greater because we're all experiencing this same thing at the same time. It's like rama Don for the world, for the world. So now did I just kill That's beautiful? I me coming
up in the game. I never relied on the show m to pay my bills, even though even though I'm booked seven days a week. Not right now, because nobody to do. What I'm saying is but I always told myself, never rely on that ship because God forbid something like this happened. You're in trouble. What I'm saying, so I never relied. I so I always do so many things that goes back to me saying, don't just do one thing. Um,
I feel like the pandemic. Social media is more than anything right now right and always the big thing because social media is everything basic but more than ever now correct. So what I'm saying, content goes through social media, Messages go through social media. UM. You know, we hope everybody puts out positivity through social media. Unfortunately, you have some negatives that we don't want to see, but we want more positive. What I'm trying to tell you is we
have to now be creative. I'm saying, like, do social media. I did the other day, I did three Zoom concerts. They hired me for three Zoom concerts. You know what I'm saying. It was, did a show from my backyard? You know, did a calg artist set, slash DJ set? You know what I'm saying. Did that? Um? If it's promoting something we use our social media, we got. If it's music, you know what I'm saying. Um, thank God, you know the world changed. It's on streaming. Now you
listen to your music. It's not like you you were allowed to jump on your car to listen to music. You can just grab your phone and this set the music. There's no excuse. But now, but that this shows you who's right. It shows you use a hug. Right now, we're doing drink h We're gonna be able to stream this on Title correct. We'll be able to see this on Revolt correct. Okay, you know what I'm saying. So
we're not stop hushling. Now think about it. You built this, You're still gonna be able to a matter of fact, you might have more viewers. Now, that's what they say, because everybody's sitting down. Well, you would hope come to the right content boom boom. But you have to look past this ship me, I look past the pandemic right now. I'm looking to build my empire. Right now. I'm out of place in my life where we're so blessed that I'd be crazy not to level up even more. That
means I'd be just lazy. I can't do that. I'm about to go to the I'm a student of jay Z Puff Daddy shout out my brother Joe crack um and I'm student to like you know, jay Z Puff and Joe. He's at my brothers watching out like a quincy Joe. Once I look up to a doctor, Trey I look up to I am a student. I'd be crazy where I'm at my career right now because I'm not not the level up. Even more, I know what I gotta do. I'm about the level up. I'm about to take it to the next level. You're gonna see it.
And it's a new decade, So we gotta go to the next level. So I'm looking past this ship. What I'm saying, Um, but we gotta we got we we we gotta learn a lot from what happened with this pandemic. We have to learn because we're not in the club, We're not in the stadium, we're not in the arena, we're not hosting a uh doing a walk that their life is based on just music. Put out hits, put out great music. And I recommend you to put out music. And I recommend it, and I pick up every artist
out there. Everybody doing amazing job. I'm inspired by everybody. You know what I mean. Um, I wanna I want to push all of us, all of us to do even more. Um, put out records that's gonna be we can hear twenty years from now. Let's put out records that we're gonna hear twenty years from now. When I make records, I make sure I try my hardest and I hope that it connects, that it can play twenty years from now. You know you talked about we're taking over.
That's a long time ago. You know what I'm saying, All the doers win, that's a long time ago. Wild thoughts, that's a long time ago. I'm on one, that's a long time ago. You know your records, those are classics, they played forever, and us as producers, DJs and artists, we're all doing great, all doing great. We are blessed. Let's push each other even harder. Now that's that's you know icons like you y'all open these doors and uh
other great icons. But when I listen to those records, I'd like, damn, you know, I want to make sure I can hear my record, honey, years from now, twenty years from now. You know what I'm saying, that's so important, you know, saying, because heard doctor Dre. I think he said a lot of um quantity, but we need more. Um yeah, you know what I'm saying. It's just because it's so much and everybody's doing such a great job, because hip hop has grown, and that's a blessing to
know that hip hop grows. Hip Hop is everywhere, not just if is everywhere. That's a blessing. Let's keep Let's keep being grateful and and for the opportunity, and let's let's keep doing what hip hop get for us. Let's do for hip hop. Picture with him and Dre and no no, I mean I'm just talking about picture right because we don't we don't know abum yeah, we don't know where the Kanye and the Dre album looks. Right
when you see the snoop and um Dre. So many people hit me and be like yo, what's up you? And for real, like room do you think? Who do you think is? You're like, I'm going to God when it's the time for a hit? Who is your number? One? I mean, I don't want you to be biased for you, this is I got, I got, I want you big one. No, no, no, no, You're gotta be careful. You gotta be careful that we do. I got so many beautiful friends, but so many beautiful
friends that we make kids together. But right now I can't. I can't. No, I can't because I got too much love. Because obviously I make massive hits with Drake, I make massive hits with jay Z and Beyonce. I make massive hits with Rihanna. I make massive hits with Little Wayne. I make massive hits with Ross and make massihits with Future. I make massive with Chris Brown, I make I got too many artists at work with. So what's your what's your number one dream record? Maybe it's if somebody you
never had before. Let's talk about the people I never want. I'm his friend. We've talked several times. She queered my sample for my last album. UM, I've always said I wanted to record. I want to do a show. Thank you, thank you. I want to I want to go a couple of times. Appreciate, appreciate. I was also sooning you videos. I'm so glad you didn't posted me because I was. I was dancing to it. I said post this. I love this record, though, but I want to work with Andre.
What I'm saying, um, I want to work with Rihanna again. What I'm saying, I want to work with Rihanna again. It's like it's something I really really want to do. Um for a lot of reasons. I'm a fan. I love her. She she she shows me so much love. But we made such a big record together. We made such a big record together, and I believe in you know, when you got that great chemistry. You know what I'm saying, why not give him up another one? What I'm saying,
let's do another one. You know what I'm saying. So it's like I would love you know, Um, I want to do something with that that Dre mean. You know I was told Dre me and Dre talk several times and he told me, when you're ready, come check me. I'm saying, so I might. I want to make sure when I come do him, I come with something that we can collaborate. You know, that would make history. You know what I'm saying. Um, Yeah, you know what I'm
saying that I think those are great names. Let me ask let's just say the next DJ, the kid that wants to be just like you, what is the business model that you do that nobody understands? How does a DJ producer make money doing these projects. As people would say, well, you maybe you gotta pay all the features. I mean producer, I mean as a producer, like if you you know, getting beat some people's albums. Me, when I came up in the game, I didn't charge no one but your
A projects. I was wanting to say, It's like and a lot of Um, I didn't charge no one, but I got my publishing. You wanted to get the places people I always charged nobody because he's gonna get the published. Somebody paid me is because they loved me, and that he's paid me no matter what I asked for it. Um. But to my day, I would get my publishing. And I'm saying, um, so you know why did you do that? I mean, I just felt like I wanted to pay my dues and keep going. And it's like, do I
care about ten thousand dollars? Do I care about fifteen? Do I care about five thousand? And in a time will come forty? It grows. But I'm talking about if I knew that I would get my publishing, and I know my relationship will grow. And I know if you have a good relationship, even if you don't charge they want you to make money because it's I'm not saying, you know it's wrong. The charge I'm just saying at the end of the day is, you know, and I'm
talking about when I first started. I still do it like right now, if I gave you a record, I'm not charging you. I'm not charging noriega. I know I'm gonna getting my publishing whatever. That's you know that business model for the four albums on my albums is each thing is different. Um nine nine point nine is relationships.
But we do make money together because we own our publisher's publishing, her publishing, my publishing, and we all split our publishing and we pray the record get bigger, the record get big that that money he was gonna give him a peanuts compared to the money that will grow when this ship is huge. You know what I'm saying. And I'm not saying, oh, don't charge for your beats. Nah, But I know if you have a good relationship with artists, you know that artist, if you make so many records,
you don't have to tell him to pay. He's gonna pay you because he wanted he just he just he love you, she loves you. You know what I'm saying, but yes, you can charge. It's nothing wrong with that. I'm saying me, I didn't call Kala, didn't Now if I don't know you, like if you if I don't know you, Yeah, it's different. But the takeaway is that publishing is the long term. Yeah, it's a long term because it's forever. That's why I tell you to make
records that last forever. Make copyright records. Like every day I get a hundred emails about somebody want to licensed by records. Every day I get like, if I don't get twenty emails a day about songs I want to get licensed every day, I get it. You know what I'm saying, licensed, license, like that. But that's just a
certain part of of earnings. There's other earnings and what I'm saying radio performances, you know, you know licensing, Um, you know, just the royalties off the albums, how much it sells, and you know, obviously if it's your own album, you gotta recoup what you put in, and then you start profiting after you put in. What I'm saying, Um, so some people like to spend big, you know what I mean. And then you know, if you make time this music. You're gonna make the money back pus a
lot more. That's why I saw amazing to have catalog. I have a big catalog. I got eleven albums, So imagine all those records, A lot of those records on each album at least three or four big hits, right, So I'm saying they last forever. Thank you God. What I'm saying like, you know what I'm saying, Like, that's the keys, You know what I mean, that's the key you like forever, You're gonna hear the records. You're for real, did forever? You what I'm saying that it's nothing, you
know what I mean, It's just the way it is. Please, buddy, how are you sober and walking into ship? I understand. Let's leave that for the drug people. Bro, you're bugging, so go it. What is your favorite part of the game, man? Like, like, is it is it? Is it making the records? Or is it performing the records? And that's a trick for you. My favorite part of the game is when they tell
me I can't do something. I mean, they say, you can't do it again, can't make this record, you can't pull this off, you can't do this you can't do that. You can't you can't become this, you can't that if you don't know Cali by now, if you tell me that, it might be the worst thing you ever say in your life, because now it's gonna get done and you just feel me to do it better. Yeah, it's like it's like you practice something. You know what I'm saying.
So we're all going on. Did you see what happened with Swiss and uh Drake? I've seen um the blogs bogs and that was Do you think that, um? Because you have a wonderful relationship with Drake right, beautiful relations So I have a relationship with Swiss beats, beautiful relations relationship, So I can't see where they went wrong. Do you don't know nothing about it? I don't know nothing about No, I swear my mom and my kids. I don't know
nothing about it. Called for I don't know nothing about it, um um, But you know I always pray for it at the hell if it's UM, I don't know what that what it is, I don't know. So I couldn't even I can't even come on it. But as a as a friend, as a brother, I wish beautiful guys and I pray to God that gets healed. What I'm saying, Um yeah, people, I suppoke to Sweat and I spoke to forty. Um. I didn't get a chance to speak to jobs. Great guy, um Buster told me spooked the chobs.
But I wanted to nip that in the button immediately as a person that's hip hop and bassador. You should do that because you know, people know I tried to. I try immediately, and yeah, I do it all the time like that. That's just what it is. That's why I broke up. You know, the jeezy and most thing earlier is because I feel like we need more people like us. The thing is we respect love. Of course, you don't want listen, guys, we want love, man, you know what I mean straight up, especially in a time
like this. Look what's going on in the world where like, if you don't want love right now and you ain't never been about love, that's that's what's gonna make the world survived, is love. You know what I'm saying. We gotta unify, we gotta be together. We need to listen to listen. I know you hear call and say love all the time. I mean it, I live it. Know what I'm saying. It's impooring that we love each other. You know, we're all human. We all human, we all
sometimes get out of characters. Sometimes it's and not that, but we need somebody beside us to either fix it or hear it up. But we need to. We we gotta love each other. And I know it sounds easy, but I I we we we gotta love each other. Man, look at the world going through man God forbid tomorrow they say he is in this motherfucker Now you know what's just sitting there like I don't know it. Like I'm just being I got kids, what I'm saying. You know,
I got kids, So I look at everything different. I look at everything different. Um. You know, so a lot of times I don't even like do an interview because I don't want to be asked about somebody else's stuff, you know. And I'm not the saying because you brought it up. Now, I'm just saying, it's like because at the end of the day is your shows would love so I know it pop. But people, I could switch it up and twitch it up and do suing. Not you, I'm talking about it. But that's what that's how this
game is and we don't need that. What I'm saying, you know, we gotting it up like the thing is like for one thing, like when you kept posting right, um, no more shots, let's do it. I got one more shot left to me, a couple more questions and that's it. College. You know we were waiting for you. Let me just tell you something, Bro, You're a legend. Can you just spelled? You're the rumor that you thought it was. He wasn't coming because of me. I don't know what I say.
You know what I had to bother My partner had to actually actually it was super excited to do this show because I know he knows a lot of the history of from from the beginning, you know what I'm saying, like beautiful cream and because you know he knows about all that, you know we should uh go right there and fifth in Washington and the records and promoters from the back of the trunk. You know it's so much we all but just go go DJ's I'm sorry, what
do you say? That's how we all through the all of you got that we were Google in one b see in Baltimore, boy, shake ship. It's not go go it's Miami basies de ga me base. I'm sorry, that's it kind of sorry. We're going to jump me right now. We're not go d you know what I mean? Like bass music was different, like it's coming ship. Yeah, man, as a part of our culture. What's going? Yeah, bigg him up? And what are you drinking again? Meet? You am about to come out of my own. We got
a college guy. I don't know what kind of spreads that he got. We're doing a shower, what buddy, I'm in with the shot. I'm in. Let's go. I'm in whatever shot. Color. Want to make sure you just everything you gotta do one what college you gotta do it? Fourteen? Don't don't put him on that. I'm not trying to put you, trying to put you the daddy stay. But yeah, yeah, alright, alright, damn, where then is my shot I'm gonna do say again? All right? Cool? Colin went to say, I'm going to
say alright, cool, I'm way too late. Yeoh, but call it man, it took this long and we I just want to tell you to your face, you're a legend. Anytime you want to say your ship, when you want to announce that really drinking the name of it. You don't have to make it. You don't have to go. You don't have to go to Ellen. Cheers, now go to Ellen. Please keep pushing the Elope forward. You know, we got a lot for everybody. But of course we got love for um. Let me because you're the great
to give you the greatest speech maker. But let me just make my speech. We love Ellen. Ellen about once she had, she hasn't brought me back. I only been once, Yeah, a little bit. I took a little matter like the fly to atl A were home team. Bro. Sure, I just want you to know that, like drink chances, born and raised in Miami, and whenever you want to talk your ship, whenever you don't want to talk some you just want to spread some ship. This is the This
is the platform you deserve. Bro. Your brother is my brother, and I don't only get any person on that because we know our relationship. But we're family. Bro. Sure, we're family, and you're a big figure. Sometimes I think you know, I think you downplay who you are too, like you just like cool whatever. But when you sit down with us, it gives us a platform to we got our own platform. I appreciate we gotta support each other to support but we we uh one of you know what I mean.
You know, it might have took us a long time to get here, but I always believe you know, when the time, it's the right time. Um. But and yeah, that's right. And um, you know I always wanted when I wanted to do this show you I'm saying, I always wanted to do it, um a certain way. But I thought about it, and after me and you spoke, I'm like, you know what, you know, this is the way he do it. You know what I'm saying. Guess what. It goes back to what we were talking earlier. And
I respect that. So I'm just happy that we're doing it and it's not the last time you're doing it. I'm not fronting on the college. Didn't avoid the show. He just wanted to do it in a big way. Yeah, I wanted. He was like a friend, kept putting it on me like you were like to be on the yard. Thing was God, that's me because I wanted to. I want to keep it real because this is drink chaps.
I had to look out for you as a brother, No, I appreciate that, and as a brother I was like at that moment, if we would have been on some yard or whatever like that, that's not what Colin is I need to I don't need to introduce all people to who we know from the beginning. Yeah, I mean, you know, at the end of the day is like I said earlier, anybody speak bad on calig you gotta look at him. But what I'm saying that you know what I'm saying is back then, No, I appreciate that,
very grateful for that. Back the end of the day is I want to be clear. I have no problem with no one, um and I got love for everybody. The only time I'm gonna have a problem with somebody if you play with me and my family. You know saying, and you know that's anyone correct. So what I'm saying is it ain't that serious. We're too blessed, man, I'd be crazy. I will refuse. I refuse to complain. There's no way God has blessed me and you and everybody year.
We are too blessed. Am I trying to sound like a preacher. I'm just being real. Especially at a time like this, we have to come together. So again, any messages on this show know that we mean nothing but love. Goddamn quick little story. So my family in l A. I have a godson slash nephew, and he tells me who is he? I'm like, yo, He's like, I love music, I love I love DJs. I go, yeah, who's your favorite DJ? And I'm waiting for him to say, yd, Well,
at least you picked the home team. That's right, that's right. So so and then that would started to show me. Yeah, that started to show me and this is this is what I'm talking about years ago, you know. And then a little little kid, a little kid to three year old kids. So it started to show me the level we were going. I was told him. I was like, it makes me so proud to see the home team growing, to see where we where we could take this. We've
seen one like this is what I want that. Yeah, I'm saying right now, I look at everybody, who are you know when we all came up, That's what I'm talking about the era. Yeah, everybody. You look at everybody, we all show blessed. Like I'm looking at everyone that we super blessed. Man Like, um, I feel like Miami, We're special. What I'm saying, we just we just specially look at all us doing. We all got big platforms, we all came up, we all um and we're still
doing hip hop. What I'm saying, so like, I just think it's incredible. Did you did you think and be honest, coming from moving down from Orlando, did you see this vision for yourself? What was when I moved to Miami. Um, I knew it because I knew my hustle. I knew if I was just do what I do mean as and I knew I mean this in a humble way. I knew I was, I was great on the train, exist and I was I knew and I knew my hustle would inspire us. But at the same time as I knew I how to do it because I had
no choice. Meaning that's in like you know what I mean. If I want to be able to have a family one day, you know this and that now got to provide And I gotta work hard. And if I want to live my dream, I can't dream it, I gotta I gotta bring it to light. So I just knew my my my hustle and my talent was was was a force. You know what I'm saying. And Um, I'm just I'm blessed at ut that everybody just like I said, like it was at support, You supported me, I supported you. Um.
We we dealt with certain promoters, you know. We it was loyal with certain people, you know what I'm saying. And look how far it took us by being loyal, you know what I'm saying. Um. And you know, when you're so loyal and you're a good person, people love when you grow because they have nothing bad to say about you. And they know those days when it was
really raining, they always think about that one person. And you know, I have a lot of friends that when it was raining for me and them, I was there and they were there. You know what I'm saying. So you know, I know that go a long way, you know what I mean? Now, real talk. You're saying, like if you know everybody that knows me, I'm still friends with everybody, ninety about nine of them, you know what I'm saying. Some of course, you know what I'm saying.
You know, it's just you know, you don't go right or something like that. Back then the day you know, love loss, you know, sometimes it's love from a distance, you know, I mean that happens with everyone, I'm saying, but um, at the end of the day, man, we bless. You know that he was supposed to be in the temple? Do you remember that story? I remember I wanted Nori bad, but I knew I was going through you. No, No, you got mad at us because I know we can't
get them if we don't go through you. No, that wasn't the truth. That's not the way it happened. But well, I mean I remember, like I know, I wanted so bad. But this is a policy. It's like history, but it's history. It's it's yeah, what what what with the blue shirt? Yeah, you had already come to my stol but you were doing the CNN pro where it was your first Miami show as n O r E. And remember and this is this is invest in peace roll up because he
was in the middle of all this. And it was a discrepancy where you thought, literally you thought that we had took Nori from your bill because we had done with Vitator. I think we I think we did promote and it got cut off. No, No, you had you gone and makes a six and you said, I'm gonna announce a surprise guest. But and then how big the temple was yeah, yeah, yeah, you were. You're hyping the surprise moment and if we weren'ted that, Nori bad. But
while you're doing that, I'm dealing with Violator. I'm doing record. I didn't know nohould do street team, either one of you. But I'm just saying that this is what I think it's ill about. The situation of this was double a bit. So we all come to the record. Remember we all met to get records at Cream and all that, and then you stepped to Eddie. He was like, yo, y'all did me dirty. And we had just that day, we
had just sent the deposit. We had just cleared everything with Violator, so we were happy we didn't know anything and sounds it sounds true because I always thank you. I'm so honest. I don't know how to whole nothing in. Don't you be rated any No, I'll come to the person and if you loved after it's just about I have to get out of my chest so I know if it's really love or not. I'm gonna think like, yo,
you tried me. You trying me, we're throwing down and if you end up not throwing down, So enough like it almost went down, but love at the end of the day the other day, and it was after that because people told me, it's like me been had yea since then, like late nineties or early two thousands. It was the first show, his first show, every Miami christ
de Yeah, we did that Warsaw Warsaw Yah. Yeah, that was and I was just stressing people and I had to go through that process and Bells I paid from Warsaw. I don't listen. I don't know which one of y'all had this show, but I know what. Hell, first of all, it was war so it was your show. You guys hired me to help you put it together. And it was when Poone got out. Yeah, no, both of those shows when you guys busted everybody from No, no, no, all right, I gotta be ninety nine. It was ninet
when came may be at Warsaw. Was me doing the show when poone came home? Yeah, y'all hired me to do the show. Yeah, it couldn't have been night whatever. Guy, you don't remember the date, No, I don't. I remember that everybody got locked up that trip. Yes, ninety nine, late ninety eight, it could be late maybe people crazy. I had to go a fake idea. It was boys this when I feel in love idea, I said, Miami, I said, Yo, you could get locked up and just
pay for a bell. They don't, they don't really finger prints you at this time. Let's not go there. Yeah, let's leave it alone. Let's leave it alone. Thing history stories and the thing is as crazy because um no, I'm sure part two don't even listen. I'm grateful to be on the show, and um I'm excited. I can't wait to this ship and drop next week. Yo. But I just want to tell you, bro, because we're brothers and y'all brothers and everything, and sometimes we wait for
the white time. It's just like it's like it's like, you know, the person to want to take the shot hot to right, they want to wait for the right time to take the shot hot to right. But the right time is never the right time because none of us are never going to be perfect. So I just want to extend that to you. Let you know that Green Champs we here. Sometimes you want to talk hopefully hopefully you understand the power that we have from this.
We this, we did this. You know, I don't want to go into the deeper, you know, depth of of you know, dumb ship. But we did enough. But we love you college and you listen. Both of y'all legends to me and y'all legends to the world obviously, but you know, personally, I know y'all what I'm saying, and like, you know, me and his brother go way back. Me and you go way back. Um, and you know you you chose one of your best friends. That's my that's blood to me. What I'm saying, his daughter is my
god daughter, your son my son. You know you have a beautiful white people family. We love y'all. I love your wife, I love your housekeeper. So listen, thank you. So I'm just saying you right now, you're saying like, not only is this a beautiful place to be at, I'm encouraging everyone. Remember nor in your fan they hand pick who comes on the show. But if you get the call, don't like yourself. Yeah, don't play us. Got there.
But I just want to thank you, um for the bottom of both of us, because again, we just want to reiterate. You know, sometimes you know you're gonna want to get some shot off your text. But after we get up quarantine because we're still about to go onto another version of quarantine. When you get it comes time to get someone of your chest, you don't gotta go.
You ain't gotta don't you know what Kyla did has I don't want to seem like I don't want to seem like cos been fronting on us all more than us. The problem was Kyler is doing the right thing, but he was trying to say, let me do something different, let me put you on the yacht, let me do that. I get it. I was like, not for the first one, for the one, but we got we gotta. We gotta do a yacht. We're gonna do a yacht. That's it.
I'm saying, we're ready. Yes, spirit quarantine. Yeah, but we might we might be catching sharks man Joey Crack do it like we do a double job. I already know, like he get I get my I believe we pull up to your career one time. After that, I do I do a taking. I do a double job. Lets listen to to college. I don't know if you understand I live a life too. Nobody there's your life like no, you know, it's like if you're hungry, look at Noris Uh. If you want to see a light like somebody's happy.
Look at Nora. I'm like, he got his routine right up about of ship. But he got a routine on each day under six s lopster. Yes, yes, that's a fact. That's a fact. Congrats on your son. I just had my son now, yo. Yes, you both got two kids. Know my second one. My daughter's a toddler and I got my son a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful God,
blessed man, blessed. Isn't that right man? Because for a lot of years I didn't know your ship worked, and then I realized, old ship, you can have kids, alright, cool, because you know kids a little later. Let's be clear. Let's be clear for y'all. Let's be clear like you have kids a little late. I'm sorry I went too far. Just tell me, but you know what best thing ever happened in my life? My kids. I do everything for
my kids. That's why, um again, everything is loved because thank to my thank my kids for everything is loved. What I'm saying because if I didn't have kids, I probably would be a little. You said a little, a little, But I'm saying, like my kids when we have kids will change your life. I'm saying, it's not about COVID. It's about my kids and my queen. I gotta take care of them and not just that, you know what
I say on this mite repossessed my kids. What I'm saying, so you know again, we're all human, you know, you know, we're all human. But at the end of the day, is got nothing but love. You know what I mean. You're using road game now, this is this is this is a new Beijing. That fact Joe got got this because this whole this is Ross beard oil. And then like Joe got this, I've been using Ross got his own beard oil. But then um, Joe got this. Okay, twisted you know, you know, I just put a little
make it. You know, you get a fresh cut, you wash the two days, you know, and then they watch out. But my ship gotta be always like fresh. I got my cut this morning, drink stamps and then fatrol. Get you the Beijing. I mean, yeah, Joe got this. I got samples right now. It's not out yet. It's about the un I don't even want to call it because's not really Basically, it's a special it's a special alert.
You know, I don't know what Joe's gonna call it, but it's a sample I got and I love it because like you put it in, it makes it right, and then you wash it like run wash to wash. It's just it goes back to your natural vibe. But at the same time, it's got this glow. I got something for you. I gotta have that ill Blade game to know how to connect it. You know, Yeah, you gotta have that. You gotta have that. I don't watching you gonna be honest, I'm want to I just want
to say something. I'll just bring two bottles duce Um no excuse Asus Spade Rose and I feel fantastic. It doesn't It doesn't take it away from your taste. Pilot pilot, just enhanced pilot in your taste. You don't have a pilot in your taste, not a pilot like your taste. And hands is my ship? It made me more sharp roar. Did you see the Jedda kiss and um fabulous? Yeah? Ship was my ship? Was that ship? Man? I was last night. I was all in the comments with the
fire and them too. It was with my brothers and I just got that felt real fucking um. That was so hip hop, you know, saying when Jada was playing and wrapping on some of the Beasts and then Fab you know, playing both don't playing street records and then you know, and they they had so much other hits, twenty four hours to live and all them Fab think, you know that's so much more. Um. But that's that's one of my favorite. That was like one of my favorite.
Hyped him to be on versus noura'son lection, you know, yeah, yeah, don't look at me crazy. I don't know we rehearse this question that there's no rehearsing drink chance questions. I like that. This is a fact. Wiss called me as I'm comment I'm sending it means from Jada. I don't know why, because Jad is gonna call me. It's gonna be like, what's going on? Why you keep posting? Right? But that's my brother? Right? So then it Swiss calls me and says, yo, they keep talking about that Cam
and Nori. That should be I'll be hell, hell, that's hell. You listen man, like they're celebrating your brother. This is a celebration everything every day. No, I know what I'm saying, but that's it. Let me make my statement though, everything that's doping our community, it's doping our community. I could be a fan of it sometimes without participating in the actual thing if that's my choice. Listen, if they say, yo, would it, I'm with it, then I'll do it. But yeah,
I'm with it. But if Cam says he's not what at all? Whatever, it's okay. I'm good with being a fan of I'm good with watching versus all that. Like I couldn't believe how much I was a fan of Um, Like the kildn't believe it, Like I was, like when I looked on I was like, seven minutes here, that's a classic. I was that one Bonny Beanie Fab and Jada Um because they're together favorite as you think, as
you think that's your favorite because they're together. I mean all were incredible obviously what I'm saying, because you know, but um, they're my favor that those were my two favorite, probably because there's two recent ones. But to my butt, it just was they were together and it was like it was done, like it was done like like how it's supposed to be done. Meaning that's in as far as turntables in a mic and paying playing the catalog.
They just sit there. They actually they took time for the fans and get a little more than just playing the record. They didn't have to do that. What I'm saying, I'm gonna be honest with you, I have to give it to h Bounty and Beanie Classic because the way they did it, now that's really they said it. That's like, explain, explain the difference, because that's how they really do it, Like you're going on the show, come to a really battle just like that, and they did. They eventually did.
They did it a nice way on versus they should do it in a different way. But in front of talking about and cruise behind everybody's crew, behind each other ready, yeah yeah on the stages. I think that is beautiful right now. Wow, oh no, no, she used to be real deal. That's saying, wasn't real deal that I'm talking about. But you know that really at one point that's what made it so special that they had that back. But but besides that, that's how they really perform, you know
what I'm saying. With the rhythm and and that's just a special love Jamaica Dancehall. That sent me for life. That was incredible. Who would you like to see you on the verses, um, I feel like you and Fat Joe taking the same stance. Now, I'm I'm now, I wouldn't battle now. I don't even consider the battles a celebration because it is. I wouldn't me. I'll do it probably like like when I'm twenty years, like right now, I'm working on the twelfth album, right, I think it's
probably what um so I would say. You know, everybody has a twenty year anniversary like bad Boy twenty years or uh, you know, will report, you know, saying like I want to do it again, like I think I would do it when I'm like fifty. Okay, so let's take you out of you know what I'm saying about anybody in reason why is because I just think it's great to remind people your catalog and it'd be dope, you know what I'm saying, to get your flowers and take you out there crazy as a fan? Who would
I want you want to see? And you know what, I'm sorry, I give you a two part question because of your love for reggae, I wouldn't like to hear your reggae. I want to see Sisila and Capleton that's gonna be two legendary. Um. I would love to see boot you and shaa Yea. I would love to see um. You know those two are like powerful. Okay, now hip hop and hip hop M and again, I'm not saying these guys battling. This is celebration talking. He's an icon,
he's are legends. I don't want you know what I'm saying. The reason why I say that is because we battled our whole life. Hm. You know what I'm saying, we battle. I mean, you know how I should. I was battle mentality my whole career. D J and Wise I'm saying like, but you know right now we're celebrating and we we we we we worked this hard to get here to not have the battle, you know what I'm saying. But that's when you become great, you know what I'm saying.
But um, hip Hop Wise, who would I want to see? I would like to see um obvioulsly who wouldn't want to see the puffing Dre What I'm saying, that's the legendary? Um? Wait, what did you say? Puff? Yeah? I know they were talking about it. Yeah, they were talking about it. You know, saying that would happen. That'd be dope. What I'm saying this because those are two massive catalogs. Um I would like to see nas nas Man, y'all trying to you
only Yeah, you gotta leave mother. I mean, you know, going against NABS would be I'm talking about whoever decided, whoever this size is celebrated. Ens eyes. That's that's dangerous, people, that's a dangerous to go. Now. I can play every song album cut and it's a classic. I'm just saying that would be an ill celebration. So it would beautiful. I'm saying I wouldn't. Man, I'm gonna be real with you. I would. I love about the versus is me not
trying to pair somebody that when y'all are down. When they announced Jada and Fab, I didn't expect that at that time, And I was excited when I seen the jersey and said, fab and you expect it, because no, I expect that pair of But I wasn't thinking at that time of Joe. I felt good when it came organically to the table, kind of like that, don't you see. You know they just got the do with a Lisia Keys and John Legend. We got Father and Jada, oh Ship.
You know what I'm saying, Like, I was just excited about that, and now we're excited about this. You know what I'm saying, Oh man, I wouldn't recommend nobody doing that. Drake against anybody, Yeah, Drake, Drake, they got a versus a whole coach. Yeah, Drake is incredible. Drake against Quincy Jones, Hugh against Cuincy Jones. But you know, you hold on because you know what. I'm not gonna go there, but I just want you to know you are leaning towards
the Quincy Jones of our generation. That's a big, big up. I'm just being honest with you. I'm sorry, I'm a I'm a I'm a super student of Quincy Joe. I'm just happy that I have a relationship with him. You know what I'm saying goes back to um, you know, like whole you know, knowing somebody I've been a fan of all my life, Nas and you know puff and these are people that I fan, trade and have a relationship with these people and now they like consider me
as brother us not like industry brothers. No, forget the music. We're talking about our kids. We have dinner and we have family, We worked together, we get money together. We were team. Oh so me being a student of Quincy Jones. But I was so excited when I got to meet him and be able to pick up the phone and go to his house anytime I call to hang out with him, get some keys from a more knowledge. He
got the best one in the world. Or No, he's incredible, he got the best stories and and he's like, um, it's like he's been part of every generation generation. You see his house. He got pictures with everyone besides like Michael Jackson. Artists we're talking about like Jackson five, not forget just the artists, we're talking about anything like I damn me, I think that he's not us. He's been here forever, a second beautiful thing I like, and his
stories are so in right of Wow. Still reiterate my question, what's that? I ain't know? It was a question I thought was showing up this statement. You are Quincy Jones, man, I'm just the artist. No, no, you gotta you gotta take no. No, no, I appreciate, but no, no, I gotta I gotta stop you bro. I no, no, you are Quincy Jones. How the way Quincy put we are the world man. You put we know you know what sellers? Uh? You know you know. I definitely somebody that put people
in the room together, um. And I put people in the room together that would never be in the room together with UM. I definitely, I mean just a lot of artists. It doesn't have to be. It could be. Um. You know, you gotta understand when you work, when when you work, when you work with cal when you work with Calid, I feel like everybody takes. And when I say this, I mean it's in a positive way. We take, even me, We take all our egos away and make
music when you collaborate what I'm saying. And I've been blessed to make some big collaborations in my career. But also besides making the music, I've been blessed to be in a room to be a sponge oh like people that I dreamed and been a fan to meet, you know what I'm saying? So like um And when you brought up Quincy Jones, that guy is like it is in other words, you are virgin of Quincy Jones were giving you that titles? Man, I see you so huy trying to I'm a student. I don't know. I'm saying.
That's the last thing I want somebody to say. Called think he you know it's I'm calid appreciate that you speaking from an old generation of hip hop. We're coming from a generation we want to pick up our versions of hip hop. We want to make our versions the same versions of whatever the funk it is. And you know what, if we're looking at you like Quincy Jones, fucking exception to somebody could tell us we liars. And guess what, I don't think they can tell us. I
don't think they can tell us we liars. Bro I don't think anybody anybody can tell us to be liars. Alright, make some fucking noise, right, and you continuing to do it? Which is which is so? Which is so beautiful? That's the reason why. Now moving on, what was the scripancy with you and Joe Buden? What's there is discripancy? I don't have a problem with Joe Budden. I mean, you know, Joe Budden's Joe Biden. You know what I'm saying, Um,
his job is is um. You know, I think when he was when he did speak on my name, because you know what's weird about Joe Buttons. He showed me love. He'll show me love like no, not that in person. He shows me love, Yes, by them out even on his shows. He showed me love. I can't take away when he shows love. But then he'll he'll I mean, I guess, throw darts or dissed me. But when he does diss me or throw darts, Um, he's misinformed. He's um. You know, doesn't have facts. And you know I come
from I come from a cloth. You know I'm not gonna speak on nothing. And that's I'm ready to speak on that. And I know what I'm speaking on And you gotta know before you speak. You know, you gotta know what you're speaking. You know what I'm saying. I just think that's just as a as a human being, a man of respect. You know, you can easily call me and ask me a question. Um, if you can't get a hold of me what I'm saying, you you know,
got a problem. What I'm saying about back the end of the day is like um, And you know what he does on the show, it's his business. God bless him, and God bless his success. And I hope he makes trillions of dollars are doing what he does. I want everybody to be rich forever, Ross Voice rich forever. You know. Um, but you know he shows me love. There's some days he don't shows me love. There's some days he don't. And you know, I can't sit down a lot of
even say I watched the show like that. But when my name is be spoken, I guess it, it spikes out, not talk out on social media. So if you tag my name, I see it, I'm saying. So that's how I usually get to hear clips and then I'd be like, why he even how my name even coming up unless it's about something you know, love, because I don't. That's all I promote and not forget this promote and that's all I live by. You know what I'm saying, So, um, I don't know what it means. It's something you know,
I don't know what I mean. I don't Just right, let's just be clear with you. When do an interview, what I do is I go to Twitter. And when I go to Twitter, because I wouldn't have went to Twitter with you because I wanted to keep our interview top secret. But when I went to Twitter after, I was like, yeah, I gotta guess coming up, and there was like, motherfucker, we know the guests coming up? We got college right boom? So there is to act? Yo, Is there a problem with him and Joe? I don't
know what it was. I don't. I haven't absolutely no idea what it was. No, No, I mean I mean I said, like I said, I can't have a problem with somebody that I really don't know what I'm saying. Do I know? Do I know? But yes, I know him. I have not been in rooms with him and talk to him and we show each other love. You know what I mean. I know him for a long time. What I'm saying, but I don't know you enough to diss you. And I'm not saying he might not think
he dissed me. You know what I'm saying. He might think he's just doing his podcast. You know I'm saying me, I come from a different cloth period. You know what I'm saying. I don't some ship. I just don't understand. You know what I'm saying, because I'd be saying to myself when I do that, that's how I look at in anything, forget podcasts, forget in life. I say when I do that, But I gotta remember not everybody's me right what I'm saying. That's something that I have to
learn more. I can't think everybody's gonna move the way I move. Um, but again, he's doing it. That's what he does for a living. But um, you gotta know your facts. You know what I mean. You have to know your facts when you speak. You know what I mean, because if you're speaking the truth. You know what I'm saying. You know, ship, If I need to address something, I'll come on the show and look in your face. But I can't respect somebody that's gonna, you know, not know
the facts and not know the truth. You know what I'm saying. Again, Um, he shows me love, I can't. I can't say he don't. But then you know, there's times I guess maybe he's having a bad day, bad movie. You know what I'm saying. I don't know. You know what I'm saying, But it's all up. Has you ever been on trunk Traps? Yeah, maybe it's been on him once. E's been on him once and it was great. It
was great. We had this whole podcast on He didn't believe this that because I mean, and you know, I'll dress I dressed a couple of other people right now, just in case you want to, you know, relax, Colin, I'll take the hot secrets. Yeah, I want for you to come back because I was going going in right now, so I want for you to go back. But um Tom slim. We can do a quick time slim. Okay, alright, first those we picked up on um as we gonna do. We do right now is one minute. You got the
um time I do a quick time of slim. It's just one or the other one of words. You can answer each other where you want, and if you don't want to answer me, you can say pat ass right, all right, we ready. I don't know, I know, I don'd on. Let me let me think of some good ship. I know cor is gonna pass. He's a political name. What he's gonna be a big one? Yea, yeah, yeah, you right, my brother. I love you, bro this in case you don't know. I don't know if you're still feeling,
but I don't love you College. I swear to God, I'm going to war with you. I don't even know you, but I'll never call you when I'm that guy. Know, we don't know, because I'm up to all right, listen, it's alright, cool. No, No, don't worry, because I gotta give my life together, all right, you ready, No, alright, cool, no, because I want to keep it, keep it eye. Let's go. Finger licking, m or KFC finger licking. Goddamn great answer, um, Nicki, Minaj Cardi B I love for both of them. Great answer.
I'm not gonna go into depth with that, all right, nas or jay Z. I love both of them. Jesus, I knew that was the answer. And I can't pressure him anymore, all right, little Kim Foxy brown Man legends, alright, what shut up? No, stop it? Alright, Cool, he's thrown me off. I'm gonna give him one. I'm gonna give him one. He's gonna have to he's gonna have to answer, all right, alright, cool, there's no one on one time. It's lying. We gotta give him something. He's gonna ask them.
I mean, let me think of this one. There's time still going another time, all right, cool? Last one? I got this one, Daddy Yankee, and wow, I mean I have to say, and well, because I have a relationship with him, I don't know Daddy anky like that. Not beloved though I don't know him personally, I got I'm saying, ain't well I got to know him and you and you head of working with him? Um, we were supposed
to work together. Yeah, he sent me something, but you know, I'm you know, I want to do something with him too, but I think we're gonna end up doing a few things. So how is it? I'm sorry we got that for like all right, but how is it? Like? Do you work with somebody you think it's hot, or you work with somebody that you vibe with? I mean both. I work with your moody that I'm a and of. That's hard, but I'm a fan of because a lot of people I'm a fan of, you know, because I could be
a fan of somebody that's that It hasn't. Yeah, of course I've met people think that's out of my vibe. But um, also, when I do get a chance to work with somebody, if it's a good feeling like um, and the and the vibe is right in the energy, you know, and we get to know each other, you know, it becomes more than music. What I'm saying might be lunch, dinner, you know what I mean, going on vacation, you know what I mean, So I gotta be I want to
be a fan, even if you're brand new. I want to be a fan, you know because when I listen to my albums, I'm a fan too. He's are all great artists on there. So I'm a fan making the music, and I just want to I want to have that fan feel, meaning as in loving your music and me, you know, learning. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, So it's the million out of the question, right every just an answer every hater in the world right now, let's just answer. We're gonna answer every hater in the world.
Right So, the same person that's in DJ college position right now, the same person is an E f N position right now. They're saying, Yo, the only reason why these guys are making it happen is because they got brad shit. Did you did you build your career from paying people? Nah? First of all, I used to make a hundred hours a week. We didn did reiterate that. I'm saying, talk to these people night. I come from sleeping in the back of my hones civic. You know,
when I left my mother and father. Don't get twisted. When I was with my mother and father, They raised me and they took care of me like every mother and father should do. What I'm saying, you know, excid about where you live there that's it's called love. You know what I'm saying. It's not about money, It's about love. But when I decided to move out house at fifteen sixteen, I didin't finished high school, I'm saying, um, and I decided to move on my life with my music career.
I was broke hundred dollars a week, slept in the back of my um you know how to Honnes Civic, you know. Um. Then I end up getting a BMW I've never paid for for like two or three years they were looking for at a high you know what I'm saying, Um, Um, you know, getting evicted in all my apartments because my music was too loud. I couldn't afford it. Understand about you know shot U my brother nasty. You know what I mean. When I when time was
super hard. You know, I have nowhere to put my equipment in my records, so you let me use his garage and let's set up my drum machine. So anytime I wanted to go make a tape or something or touch my equipment. I would go, Um, you know she was garage because I didn't have a garage no more. And then you know, I was at hotels, hotels, what I'm saying. And then you know, ship start progressing and
you know, started making a thousand a week. You know, then finally got me a nice little apartment in Marriman, what I'm saying, and then after that started making two thousand a week. Because the hazard sounds you know what I mean, like, um, you know, I guess people always see your success. They never see the they never see the struggle to get They never see the struggle to get to grinding. Because if you think this is success, I look at it as a blessing. Okay, I'm being
I'm just getting start to be honest. Puff took fourteen with us, We took two with you. My number, you're unlucky number three. You don't have to do this. Come but you don't have to do whatever you want may to do. That's it. That's it, that's it. He's gonna be love with us and you get to you you take it yourself. A man ship. Uh, I forget, I'm I'm forgetting. This is an interview. This ship is more like no, this is this family is gathering. This is
like family gathering. Bro. You can I say something? Yeah,
please say something something interviews in my lifetime. He is special one because you know how to like get you right, and then he and Het all the right ship and then he's gonna come, but it's gonna come in like and then it just with a question you look at like damn, you're not mad at him, but you're like that was like you know, you know, like Jordan, he got a certain way that you know, even the man will can bounce and turn around and still like you
know what I'm saying. This Mannority just came with so much ship. And then while you're doing it after like some ship, like a theory is something you take a shot and you're like if you're taking a tote some ship, you don't even know what the going on. So it's like st from like everybody cooling it background, like oh, this camera's are to some I'm trying to figure out
what we're doing because let me take over. Let me take over from there, because you know why I call it, I'm honest, bro, one of the biggest people in our culture and I we not just me I'm sorry, I but say I want to. When I say I want to, I mean dream chance. We should cover every step over your fucking journey because you know why, we're proud of every step your and not only that, we're proud of it. We knew it from there, we knew listening, we knew
it from here to there. But we want to be here. Well, it's actually you know where we like I'm we're malleible and I told you that my house is right here and there and you're like my house r here like that, But we're here with you right now and wherever we started or you started, but we're both together right here. Don't get me wrong, you're the biggest in the game.
And let me interject a little bit because seeing your whole journey, when when DJ's and we all come from the same place, there's always gonna be that competitive spirit, you know what I'm saying, Like that there's the dj K you know what speak speaking of competitive you know, early in my career I would say, you know, it was a competitive spirit early, But now I don't compete. I just don't. But you know what I'm saying, I've got about that because the thing I was just telling
that to my girl the other day. I was like, Mom's you know, I'm so happy. You know, when I'm making my music and stuff, I'm like, I'm so happy with how much we have accomplished. And I think I put it on Instagram and I said, I could retire like jay Z and Michael Jordan's right now, and I'd be happy with everything I've accomplished and grateful for all my blessings. And I'm be very happy, like literally happy.
But guys like me got more love and more blessings to continue to put out because of the love of me loving music hip hop. You know what I'm saying, love, You know I love this ship. You have to love this ship to really do this ship on the levels that we're doing this, Because you have to really love it. I'm saying. If you don't, I don't, I don't recommend you doing it. You know, this ship gotta come from love. What I'm saying. I didn't want to interrupt you, but
it was Craig. I said, I felt like I could retire like Michael. I said, I feel like Hove and Michael Jordan's. I can retire and I can come back any time. I want, and that goes back and saying, you know, I always work hard to try to not try going to be and timeless, I'm saying timeless, And I'm always gonna put out music that's impactful, what I'm saying, and and everything outside of music, I'm gonna do impactful
and time was as well, know what I'm saying. So that's where I'm at in my life, what I'm saying, And that's why I say I'm a student of a jigga and a pup daddy. They come back anytime they want, know that you know what I'm saying, and know that they don't have to, but they love it so much that they keep blessing us. You know what I'm saying.
But you know, but the point that I was trying to make is that competitive spirit that we all come from, which is a part of hip hop I'm saying, and so and more locally, US DJ is like where it be DJ Abs and us and and all they were brothers, but it was competitive. But what I think is so dope is that you'd be hard pressed to find someone from Miami that I can't appreciate your journey, I can't support your journey, can't say that you're not repping the
home teams. What I'm saying at the end of the day, like it would only be complete hate to not understand what you've done and doing. Man, that's what I'm saying, everybody, everybody. That's that's all we asked for is what he said. And um and you know, beautiful because that's that's that's that's that's love. I mean a lot to me. That's that's that's a sound bite for me. Iri. I think you know we man, I hit crazy on the Instagram
of the day, all of us from Miami. You know what I'm saying, We rep Miami so hall because we love Miami and we and that's what's so beautiful my sameing. Other cities don't do the same. But you know we're talking because we I'm passionate about our hometown and this is our home. Um, it feels so good to screen three o five Miami and how far we came, you know what I mean, day count I don't know what the fund is that ship on your ship I got, I got you. You're gonna get on soon. No, eventually,
one thing. So I feel like we covered. Yeah, we we we we definitely covered um, but you got this single coming out. Listen, we got wet. I don't know. And then that's not even bullshitting you, like like trying to like trying to figure out single. Yeah it's me and Drake. But what I was trying to tell you is another day I wanted did you do drink amps when I dropped my singer Noory like funk that we're doing this ship Nobody's true. But you don't have to explain.
I really don't know what I have to explain, you know why, because I just want you to know. It's not about the saying, It's not about fucking legend. I'm like, this is your city. I'm in y'all city. I'm in yall city. This is please come on, give me yourself the region. Why because you is the city of the party city in the world capital. You are the party capital of the world. You're the golf up. No no, no, no,
we we we we were so happy we did it. Now, I was just telling you, you know what I'm saying, Like to answer your question, I don't know when my singles coming out. I really don't, and I'm grateful for when it does come out. Am I ready, yep, I'm ready. Just know that the whole album is done. No, no, the whole album ain't done. Working on the album single
being done. You know I'm saying, Um, you know, the pandemic shift a few things around what I'm saying, So, um, you know things now we can function a little more than we did two months three months ago. You know what I'm saying. We were too. Months ago, we wouldn't be at the table. You know I'm saying. You know, we knew how to come here and say with the gloves, with the team, with the disinfector. You know I'm saying, But two months ago it was told, can't even do that.
So now you know, things are you know, things were more functionable now you know it's it's it's it's close, it's near, it's coming. Yeah yeah, what's that glove? Thank you? More gloves? Brother? Whatever you need? Bro goes for man. Do you want a little shot? No? No, no, no, man, let him go back to listen. We appreciate ain't gonna she sanitized that. I smell it looks smells fantastic, but it's it. Go back we got we got no, No,
I appreciate it. Whatever y'all want no Listen, college bro, I just want to know you do we get a good show? We got a good show because I don't get a chance to watch every single dream chance, but I do watch a lot of them. Did we get a good show? No, we got a good But it's not the last time you've been gonna be That's the problem. The problem is not Bob's having a good show. Listen, You're supposed to be here, Miami representation. We're gonna be here when we get ross back head. He's in the
Atlanta nigger right now everywhere. That mean you know his unbelievable love it. Don't even talk about it. I don't want to give another shows. God, I love him a real one. It is a real one. But but we need to know, like when you need to talk to the public, we just would suggest. We're not saying do it. This is just a suggestion. Come to your brother in my No, don't, don't, don't, don't do it. Don't man, don't do it. I'm a black part of the game, y'all.
I'm going to deliver this message back. You're already called me. I get it. I love you really, God, your whole family ye come on, I love you, but I would like to tell you, as a brother, the same thing. Nas told me this. I said, I can do every publication. I could do your ship and every publication would take it. She blew me away. No one that NASA just do my publication and and you know what not but Nas, Nas, what's your beautiful about? Nas? He only does set. We
don't no more shots in my Listen. You are the same colorer, bro. This is the reason why you could talk to us and you could say, Yo, I don't want to or don't want you know what it is, nor you know what you know what it is? Um? The way I came up and you know why a lot of people you know love me and respect me besides the fans like the game, is because I never forget where I come from. Um, And I always do. You know, I certain radio, you know, because I come
from radio. You know. UM, I always do certain TV because I remember when they wouldn't let me on those platforms and some of them did and took the chance. You know what I'm saying. So I always got to remember that. So I try to do everybody as much as I can, and if I do, I want to do it, not just to do it. I want to do it to inspire the young world and leave a
beautiful message out there. You know what I'm saying. So and I'm I'm I'm always, you know, trying my hardest to do that because these the game has change, going back to social media. Like you know, they're all gonna take so many question this show, so they take their clips and know this show today that we meant love about everything we talked about. And I don't know what to tell you because we love you, you know what.
You know what I tell you, and I love everyone everything you said it's great, and I love you for saying you know what I want to tell you. The other part about that conversation, it's feast, Oh motherfuckers. The thing about it is we love you. You love this right listen, listen. I'm gonna be honest. I know it is you what man? We love you. Listen, We love you. Where a black jacket, a great jacket, a white jacket.
We don't do thank you man. But at the end of the day, sometimes you just got to just walk ahead. Now now, now I know that I never said the invitation has never been there. We did our first one. It's great to know that the invitation is still there. And you know what I'm saying, if you want to you know what I'm saying like that, you know, we never want to know what you know. You're saying, thank you so much, what y'all said. We love you, were you were you in drink Chap's atmosphere when you have
he have that funny moment where you just want to talk. Oh, for sure, go to New York. No, no, for sure, But I just want you to know, go to New York. I want you to know this. But if we get an opportunity and sebody asses and we end up doing other shows, I don't want you to thinking, oh way,
no no, no, no, no no, I'm changing. And it goes back to the point because I'm gonna be real with you, please be real, not point right now, like no, it's not even that, it's just somebot the point where it's like, I mean, it's in a humble way, man, Please, I feel like Michael Jordan. I feel like you should be no no, no, not not like I tell my life like no, it's not no better said about the Shows's about like I swear to you, I'm so grateful
for everything I've done, and I'm happy with it. For the old called five years ago would be we gotta do this, we gotta do that, we gotta do that, we gotta do this, we gotta do that, we gotta do that, we gotta do that, we gotta do that, we gotta do that. And no, and we love the people that want us to do it, but we also got to do you know what I'm telling myself when we need to speak and speak this love, let's do it. That's what we're doing today. We had drink, sing and Mina.

You don't know if what was happening.
We're your whole other crewe to secret society, like you know these niggas that got you know when anybody got beef, you know there's great niggas that got your society and like that was stabbed. The whole neighborhood for you and you are in the neighborhood. Yes, you and you are in here with the secret society, stabber about somebody front of college. Guys. We're stabbing everybody. And I'm just saying that because it might sound racist. You're saving everybody. Doesn't
mean he's just saying. He means that in a different way of saying everyone. He just loves me and I love him. That we all love you, not just me. I didn't hear any hate. I don't College, bro. I think it's episode is like everyone loves Raymond, but everyone loves College. Can we grow with that? Everyone loves all love at all times. Come make some But we wanted
to let you know only ship all right. If I got more of this, I'm a legend hard But you know what, We're proud of you, everything you did, proud of you. Keep going. So we ain't stopping that one thing. I can't promise you. We're not stopping. And um, it's just I got a lot more to do. You'm saying I got a lot more to do. And right now, like I said earlier, and this this great conversations we're having, is that, um so only right for me? To level
it up even more. You know, there's levels of this ship and eat key leaves is the next key and like because about the level up even more? Because I'm about to level up even more. I swear to you, I got some ship playing because of word. You know what I'm saying. I'm gonna be real with you. Please be real with me because lack of a better term. we're selling property. You know, We're gonna continue being a great family man. And and and everything you see me do. Just know I'm doing it for my kids. What I'm saying, which I know you do it for your kids. I don't know you do it for your kids. And you know what that is, um, And that's why we saw passionate about everything we do.
