And his Drink Chas motherfucking Podcast Mason, He's a legendary Queen's wrapper. He's like, it's your boy in o R. He's a Miami hippop pioneer up his dj e FN together they drinking up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast and your number one sorts for drunk Factor drinks motherfucking every day is New Year's z That's time for Drink Champs, Drink up the mother. Would it good be? Hope? Would it should be? This your point in R? What up is d j e
F Yeah, Yeah, yeah, R. Mason about it? If you want to proper introduction. When it comes to comedy, the man comes from comedy royalty. When you think it's a dynasty dynasty, I feel like I was born on the set of a Living Color and I feel like I feel like it's very murdered movies he ever done. It was my very very favorite movie. I'm gonna get your suing in case you don't know who you're talking about, your mother and motherfucking incredible mother. First off, you know
we don't know if you know. Drink Chance is a drum show that we big about legends, because so many people want to give props to our legends after they die. People want to say how great Marlin was after you die. We don't want to do that. We don't tell you that. I don't know if I'm making it. Yeah, well I'm scared. I'm scary. I don't know what. I don't know what this niggat stinking straight out the key. Still I was
like seeing number with make some this isn't stand. You want to believe that it was not the bad You're straight out of the dog with skinny food in and nobody cares about an animal seeing that straight dog? Are you smoking weed? Smoking man? But I'm a medical man. Want to be sticking Yea, you just wols it up. That's on the job powderwer. So let me just let me just say your Netflix special behind, I can't do. Got had to work now. That's okay, that's okay. So
you're out here right now. You got to image if I started saying dumb ships, I got you. I mean I know you were somewhere to right, he said je he said you got the juice man. Yeah, so I don't know if you know. Like we we we interview people who have ten years in this game or more. One of the comedians we interviewed was Mike. We had Jack t K. Kirkland. T K was the only person who asked for a spade. He gotta relax twice as well. Yeah, he didn't take a damage anytime to take on. We
got at least we got with you. So now you really come from You really come from when you had to be funny for real and your own family move it this way. So you had to come from where you had to be a joint. Where's that whole Vegas? It's already all bad. Get the best out of it and your coughing up. I don't want to tell your but he just got out. So how is it? How
is it growing up? Because right now I just we just obviously Christmas just passed, and you know we all the kids got around Christmas and you know, all of all of us we interact. How wasn't like growing up in your householding Christmas and Holidays and you know things giving up to that because everybody's funny in your fami. Christmas was a lot more fun when I didn't have money and I received gifts when you didn't have you didn't have to give him out. Niggas don't get Christmas.
This was not fun. At the point, I was just like, I really love that nigga like that. I don't I really got a buy show. I don't know this nigger. No, but I was. I was fortunate and blessed man. My brother Keenan and my mom. My mom always made sure we had a dope Christmas and we laugh a lot. And Keenan always made sure we had a dope Christmas. And damon, um, you know, they got us a TORII and me and Sean was just blessed that dope as
big brothers and sisters. That kid loved us. You know. Now, let me I ask you a question about tortured us. Always wanted to ask, yes, is he really a DJ? Or was that just for a living? You know it was DJ? I saw him, and you know, I always wanted to ask a J. I was like, come on, man, I'm gonna tell you something. Back in the day. Was back in the day, Sean was like the Milli Vanilli of DJ. Yeah, it wasn't like he it was little sinking DJ movies. But now he is in DJ. Yeah,
he does parties all over the place. He's mine as well. I want I want you want to be like the who the little Asian dude to jump up and down? Not college right, choke a little, okay, okay, okay, okay, don't can't give people basking people. He got a color, right, you know, he ain't going, ain't doing a nigger party. And I can't get my mouth. So the Living Color
was like the flat version of Saturday Night Live? Right, why do you thinking Living Color never had like spinoffs like Anchor Man and like Ladies Man like and there was a spinoff. I'm making things like why why do you think like actual movie didn't comfort in Living Color was such a big thing, and when it happened, it was so big that I don't think everybody knew the behemoth that it was. I think it was just like this big explosion. We were like, oh, we had no idea.
You know, you understand sat In that Live has been around for twenty summer thirty years, so they've got to really look at the business of what Saturday Night Live was. When the Living Color happened, you know, it was just a bunch of young dope niggas and nobody knew like nobody knew it was gonna be the brand that it was. I mean, in hindsight, I wish the Living Color was still on and lim Color was only on four or five seasons because of the business that transpired. You know
where satting that live. NBC takes care of of of of of people to make sure that I mean, you the reboot. Um, you need you need the right support system to do a reboot. And Lit Color was such
a dope show it you don't want to suck that up. Yeah, and you gotta get more writers than they had, Like Keenan got a great eye for talent, like on on the Look Cup of Reboot, he had hot talent, and like Little l was on the Little Kidna get out of Gonna get out Little Damon Syndica Steele once again, I we gotta he knows who's dope and I'm high, you know, actually got to them a taping of the original I ain't gonna lie. I'm so I don't even know where if we just filmed that was that it was?
It was the window. Come on, I'm we don't get windows. But what happened? My heart? You're alleging all they take a little They haven't even started again. They haven't started. He's happy. Happy. You're not smoking, You're dad's smoking. You be at school, my daddy. Don't that glory that Puerto Rican noying? You know? You know you can? Do you feel do you feel Damon Waynes is underwrating? Absolutely? Yeah,
absolute fucking news. I feel like Damon Wayans and you know I'm his brother, So I'm not the one to answer this question that you could you can? You can? I'm talking your best this question because be like, oh you you're just saying that because he's your brother. Damon Wayans is like to me to top three ever, you know, to me, he's you know you got Richard Eddie and Damon say Red Foxes. Aren't you named after Red Fox? Isn't your middle name? My name? My first in the mulling,
that's the Jackson Foxes son. That was great, but that was highly I just said, rip. That's that's all the shot. Jason. Hold shut up, y'all gonna stopping. Everybody graffiti on the wall like this is king standing this nigga, he changed color skin. Everybody in here is high. Who is this? Okay? My husband? If it's still like you see, get out of my hear you live streamer likes get out, Get out Me, so before my damnit, He's severely underrated because from when I look at comedy, I look and when
I judge and listen, there's just there's other greats. There's great things about everybody, you know, everybody, But Damon to me, as a guy that can do characters, he can tell the joke, he can show you the joke. He talked about his part and being part of the joke. He talked about his pain and made that funny. He talked about his truth, he talked about his life, and then he did things that was innovative. When he twisted up his arm to play hands. I've never seen nobody do that.
I've never seen nobody do that. I've never seen somebody say what if I committed suicide and I live and my feet was attached to my body? And like the images that this man would create to me as a little even as a little boy, as a man and as an artist, I go, Damon WANs is that dude. And I'm just blessed to have been raised than the house with a legend like him, an a legend like keenan age gap between you get some fucking air conditions that all this look champagne, sampagne cool you down? Pretty
too luckly to drink. What's the age gap between y'all the older brothers? Um my brother Keenan, I think uh tena and sixty is about fourteen fifteen years aged between me and Keenan, thirteen years difference between me and Dammon, and like a year between me and Sean, because you and Sean came late into the Living Color right like towards the end of it, me and Sean game, I can't Sean been around for a while, fake DJ and
then now it's the really. But I came on the Living Color on season four when when the Titanic hit Iceburg, I came. But I got one dope season characters. I got to do things I never I always dreamt to do. I learned to write sketches because me and nobody's writing for me and Sean, so me and Sharan's right for ourself. So um yeah, if my answers get cut short, Now here's a funny here's listening and sweats gonna happen. This no air condition the towel, and it's called here's a
pretty girl. Somebody little mention and do this. Let us explain. We have a we have a different studio that happen the studio, but we thinking you from Brooklyn and we think it. You ain't gonna be your part. You your party that want some crazy shit like you know after hearing that Tupot got shot this nick he's smoking and they'm still wet. Mind you the baby did you make the baby all? He's got a good job. So you
was getting tight. It's too light too, and we all that ship my daughter really we rolled that unanimate my both got chicken. You got chick thing over for charging you got you get whatever he needs? Really crazy ship ahead, he said, pop both days this naken trying to plug it into anything game sh charge yo yo yo, Yeah you useless right, I can't see the weird. So let me ask you a questions. You can ask me a
bunch of questions. High you have like little you know you like you know passing of Tupac and you actually played in the film and you actually killed Tupac. The rim you talk the rim like you ever does it ever ever get spooky for you where you sit back and say, damn, you know I acted that out once you know what I'm saying. I don't get spooky for me. I mean, now that you think about in this neighborhood you got me in, I guess I guess it's high as I miss my nig yo misses High's fun. Yeah, yo, No,
that's right. What the that's right? What over the window we got we got over the door. But we got a cage, we got a cap we got Yeah, your clothes, a cage is gonna get. But until it comes to it's over there. In the meantime, Yeah, I'm about a tea right now. Closed the gate. I'm probably get lung in front over so we can't keep it to up. But you need to give you firm blood blood. First of all, I think we should shout out, go get
back to the two pat question. We shout out. You have the improv tonight all right, during I can say the wrong long day down down. You're here tonight and on Monday. One show tonight, Friday, two shows on Saturday, one show Sunday, and then New Year's Eve, which is Monday. I got two shows. So bringing the New Year's with me brand new said nothing you've seen it wokeers, uh um, So come on. That's funny for me because that when
I was a little look at the comedian. That's what I certainly go for to make sure they don't repeque material. You know what I'm saying. It's like, it's like sometimes when I go see j for a show, I'll go see Kanye as something. Every show, I want something different. So that's what you're saying, like every time, it isn't that repeated material every show. Here's the thing rap y'all can do that people people don't want to end. No, we can do the same song, but yeah, don't lay
it out the same way. Yeah, but y'all can do that in music, I can't y'all in the audience a sing along. I can't do that and fucking stand up, nigga. This is like, No, that's the with we heard the old ship with the new ship that if somebody come to my show, I made my open up asked how many people seen me perform live before, so then I can guess to me about how many people have seen the new set. So if there's jokes that I have in my arsenal, I go, I'm not gonna do that.
I'm just gonna show them all new because sixty five people in the crowd just clapped that they've seen you before. So I gotta come at this brand new, even unless I'm working for a special. But I never like to repeat the same material, Like I like to go out there and give a fresh show. And if I do any special, I ain't doing that ship again. It's dead.
It's dead to me. Dead to me. Now, I could do a character and re reboot the character, like you know, and put the character into the situation, but I'm not trying to repeat the joke. You had a Netflix special in the in the smack Dead in the middle of like Monique controversy with Monique is saying that, but you know, and then you had you had a Netflix fessional. He was very quiet about what they don't get that money
all that. I feel, I feeling you side that I'm gonna get that money right bills to pay her sugar you need to sugar checkers out. Sugar Checkers is expensive. I don't get that. I was gonna get that money, don't. I don't want any talk about it was mine. It was in the middle of all that. But you know, my my feeling on that the whole situation is like you know, in the ud negotiation, everybody always feels that their value and is X or your your worth is X.
But it's not about worth. They're gonna play you your value, and your value is what they deem the price they feel comfortable paying you you no matter what. Worldwide they run numbers and they go, this is what we're gonna pay you, and now you can Netflix don't get your numbers because they don't want you to feel well. I think, you know, it's part of the matrix Netflix. They'll they'll give you certain like hands about where regions you're doing
well and things like that. But you know, in the art of negotiation, there always comes to time where you have to say yes or no. If you say no, theyn't walk away and you ain't the negotiations over. So you're gonna on press tours and all that. I don't think it's helpful, you know. But at the same time, you know, I love Monique. I think Monique is severely underrated. She's kicking she's barely underrated comedian. The girl is She's
a very funny lady. But at the end of the day, you know, you're what they're gonna pay you, what they're gonna pay you. No matter what you try to do, They're still gonna be like, yeah, I heard all that, but we're gonna pay you this. So for me, you know, in that negotiation, I was like, you know, we got to a number, and I was like, whether or not I like the number is not important. What's important is that I go ahead and do this and I show the world that I do stand up and coming out.
I don't feel it's coming out. I don't feel like I'm not feeling how high because he was quiet and it was the words on your cave, okay, the words on your look like I just that movie I did, Sondison coming on when it does, I'm just like, so, your favorite movie is The Bridges questions? Yeah I have to because I'm dyslexic. You just you just get hit movie's favorite, Like, so it's your favorite movie is The Bridges of Madison County? Does he go? Is that your
favorite movie? For real? The Bridges of Madison County? Can I be your man? I don't even know what that is. That movie is in County. I don't even know what that is. All you hard? I should put this on and watch all She laughed, out not go shot him. I didn't know what the hell another border? You don't have Porter weekes ship killed? How such a contact? How it's a romantic movie that I gotta go there and
watch it with my wife tonight. Bridges Bridges, Mariges, Bridges of Madison card they said, Midges yelling, this is the trip he's you can't talk no more. Okay, Bridge Mount County. Here's why, because Bridge battist County was a movie about a woman who was Marl Street and her husband. Okay, her husband goes on the road trip. She has two kids, and when he's gone, she this photographer comes in town and winds up smashings wait, feed it down the way
her husband because he's her husband. So they wanted to fall in love in three or four days. And then what happens is he husband comes back with the kids and she's like, should I leave or should I go? Now?
This happened. But what happened was the children found her diary and her book, and in the book it tells about this love story that mom cheating on dad, and meanwhile they're going through stuff in their life and the whole thing is kind of like a lesson about life, which is love and lust and choices that you make, and it's there is no wrong choices in life, and
there's no wrong experiences. Because that experience that she had with that dude for those three days getting all slobbered out, it was wiped all over the kitchen sake gave her the tenacity and the love to stay with her children for the rest of their lives. So for me, it was a beautiful book. Beauty. It's a great book, but it's a beautiful movie. In your is this an odd moment? I got a quart. The human got it when you coming and feel like you see how need go a little.
So what's interesting is when you when you Google you and you say your top three rappers it's Jay Z, Nas and Biggie. That means Ira you to no no. I liked it. Still, I don't see give me up a Most comedians, you know, they don't have that traditional list like that. I can tell you really listen to hip hop, that's what you know what I mean? Like so many people would I just say Tupacs, It was Nas, Biggie and Jay. I believe so many people would say
Tupac just because Tupockets dead. Two pockets are great. Two poets are great. He's a great um. I'm gonna give it up a pup because of his diversity. I gotta give it up for you know, dear Mama, make me make you cry? I call I heard that song. I called my mama and she talked about your knew Pops big like that. When you worked with him on the Rim, I knew he was special. I knew that. How about Bernie, I knew he was special. There's the thing, you know
he was a kid comedy. Huh did you know he was a king of comedy when you met because remember he's playing Well, he wasn't a king of comedy back when we was doing that movie. But did you see a king of comedy anybody I ever put in the
movie or anybody I put in the movie Bernie? And and don't be a manage my name is I've been't producing since it was Yeah, I forgot about that the class And then when you was gonna Burnie my friend and let me put him in waiting and tell you what's so fucked up about it was gonna wins because Bernie was a friend. There's not what I'm saying to say. I put Bernie on. I'm trying to say that I've
seen something special Bernie. If I ever put anybody in anything, because because I see something special and I'm not I meaning me and my brothers, because y'all see nothing spash in the black woman. I have come together. He's got real. I don't because I want that. I want to Jack, can we can I get down? How much soul do you need? You need always? I don't know. I'm looking into it. I'm going but because his thing, if we
see it, we're gonna put you as me. And Tiffany was having the conversation and had this right he could be floss in my Y's like how come you never put me in something earlier? And I was like trying to say you bad now. My friend had a conversation and I've always thought Tiffany was super talented. I never once. That's why I put it in The Funniest Winds, which was a comedy show that the TVs, because I've seen something in there and I was like, yo, if you do X, Y and Z, you could take it to
next level. And sometimes just because you're funny, it don't mean you're ready for opportunity. Because sometimes it's about the not being funny that you need to do for this specific role. But that girl has always been brilliant, Sydney cast Steel, brilliant. Do so, how did you feel about Cat Williams? When Cat Williams made that, he actually he not only Tiffany, he went at Kevin Heart as well. And I don't like beef and comedy. It works for wrap. It works like somebody coming in and shoot us on
me your old alam gonna be? Can I get another one of these? You show you know what? You know what? You hunted out a wine. You're trying to kill him? He said, right fixing sixpence. Oh my god, you want some of your hunt it out ship. You ain't gotta whine over you ain't got over that. Oh yeah, we gotta open it, come into you got this motherfucker? Thank god.
Damn so um so so super talented, right um. When it comes to putting people in things, and me and my brothers for years always trying to put people in things that we think at that time they're ready for the opportunity. If you give somebody an opportunity before they're ready, what you do is they blow the opportunity and now they have to start from scratch. And now you once you fail, you gotta all the way back to the back of line instead of getting there, getting there, getting there.
I see you, I see you, I see you, see the progression and go. Now you're anointed, and as long as you're a part of that journey, then and you do it with a good heart and good intentions. I think you're good. I'm not a hater. I don't see there go I putting they getting there because but if he blew up, if he blow up, if he gonna take life from me, No, they get every movie I do. If y'all on the house, take the ball with nigga, n take them said you came in on the house foul.
I'll be on the other side. Try this right there. No, no, like we we we right in the art of comedy, it's it's like a basketball game. The ball. Just don't stop trying to create fights between friends. No, No, I honestly don't think Cat Williams was hate And I didnt think Kat Williams was voicing his opinion. And nowadays is dad hating voicing your opinion? Can we have an opinion? Like can you go to a movie. Not enjoy it, but not dissing Cat is. That's a good cat. Cat
is a brain comedian. And you know, sometimes what he says people can misinterpret. But we all know Cat, so we know what what he's trying to say, and so we don't get offended by it. You know, I sometimes cats just cat. You just gotta let cat be cat because he's different. Don't make him bad. He's just cat. Um. So I don't think it's hate. And you know, look me and my gaps, we talk, all of we talked sometimes. You know, he'd be like yo, mall and blah blah blah.
Mike was in a movie with me, like like, there's no I don't work in hate. I work in love and I ain't got no way. I grew up in a fraternity, which is my brothers, and so for me, comedy is a fraternity. So every one of my hip hop comedian friends at y'all my brothers. I don't want I don't want to hate on you. I don't need
you for nothing. I've been eating but half I've been through something like that where you felt like somebody was hating on your felt like it as a misunderstanding because you know, I don't want to just point like comedy as it's as if it's a perfect work. So how you can't talk to about because you know why because the thing is in hip hop we have just nine bloods have a conversation because I spoke to nine have bloods. I've been like this because of hip hop we have
disputes and coral corals and all that. But in comedy, one thing I'll tell you, I'll tell you some funny ship. Um. I was actually jealous of comedians one time, right, and I'll tell you why. I was telling to say, are you motherfucker's? One time the knight came out of Mike invited me to a to a show after he does drink chanced. This was like the next day or something like that, or maybe that week. So I go there. They went to a pack house to about full everything
and it was not one incident that happened. But I want somebody got stabbed. I wanted the fire cracking when it went off, like the Puerto Rico said Stamp about the NA was just like, don't let ya tell me coot on me stabbing. They just have somebody came here. But but is there a perfect scene in comedy or you guys are regular humans mean meaning like you know, because like you know and hip hop. It's not that
it's not that we have beef. It's just that it's emphasized because people are so like you know what I'm saying, Like in comedy, I'm just not a dude. There's gonna be a part of beat. Either I'm gonna we're gonna fight, Oh we ain't. But I'm what I'm not gonna do it? What are you gonna do it? Day and be like no, yeah, I'm not gonna talk over airways. Either we fight or no we ain't. If not, then let's let's not play this. Let's just be cool and called to day. But I
got a number of for everybody in comedy, everybody. I don't like when other people talk bad about anybody. You know what. I defend keV all the time. People on the talk it's and I tell Kevin sometimes it's hard. It's heavy with heavy as a crown, heavy as the crowd, the crowd, heavy as the head to wear the crown. You do gotta contact. I like this. He just likes you like I thought you did cocaine. I'm not you'll find here. He's one of this kid. Let me tell
you something. I would tell your funny story. Why I don't Focom's no. One day I'm in club, probably wanting in the club. I don't know why the club, Charlie. They locked me in. No smoking girl, help me get out. Let me tell you something. Let me just say something. I mean, Brian want throughout. One day and Manna walks up and here a couple of this homies he had on the transcode here, Yes, what are you having on the bed? He has more talking there? Don't know what
him too? Can you bring tilies if there should be tomorrow? The jack so let me just tell you. Right so I've seen them. And he had like a trench cold on. It's a cold night in Miami, and I said something about his pants. I said, how you got those pants on? And he looked at me and I had like twelve chains on, and he said, well this is that's like me telling you you got on all these chains. But I'll look and you know he came up with fifteen thousand jokes about me and that very minute, and you
know you have a little tay of nigger. You can see him thinking about what he's saying about you like a battle rapping and I looked at this nigger, I said, I'm sorry, I don't remembered to the side. I was like yeah, because I just look at me. He's gonna be a bad damn you. How comedy is like, because you've really, I literally seen you came up with fifteen hundred jokes about me, like right down, just the way it works, just comedia. This was funny where he's like,
this is Thomas Thomas Jones. They're running back for the jets. I'm so high I can't open up. We got your brother, you got VI are you gonna put the high bones? We're gonna say it's sucking easy. Put your sailing in value is open to me. That made severe Thomas that he did a big mommy good even been either. He's like, I don't know what you's good, Julia containing all that's hilarious.
That's hilarious. So um damn I don't know when to go no, no, no. But is that how comedians is When you see something you could just really like a lot of people like like, you can't be you can't be taught funny you you just is it ordered something automatic? We're taking the environment. Okay, all right, you want like terminated and you walk from rooms like it just happens real quick, and people go when you get there from God. Damn, my phone is high. Um um, it's it's it's not taught.
I always say inspiration comes from God when I when I say something funny, it's like God goes, Yo, Nigga say this and his mouth opening ship he like, like it just happens. It's not like when it's forced. People be like, that's forced. But I don't. I don't need to force my nigga. I just choose to go all the way there. But how about like heckless when you want they don't want to do this, they don't want to go home. I got first of all, I got the mic and nigga, everything you say sounds like I'm
away winning to be clarity. And then you look stupid and you draw and you got your girl with you and she looked funny. My nigga, you lose tonight. What's your bill, nigga? What did you eat losing? I'm gonna look at your life, nigga, And what's some shoes looks like Yo, put the light on them. Shoes. He can't put the light on me. Already got the light on me. I'll throw all everything funny about me. Now what do you got, nigga. I'm I'm gonna get into your pain.
I'm gonna talk about your daddy issues, nigga. And that's why I say, don't talk with a comedian right yet. I learned that because we will try to if we have to kill your whole city. There's a terrorist in this city. I'm blowing him the old city. I gotta get him. He's in that bunk over there. But I know that's gonna be casualties. But that, nigga, he gotta go. That's just we have a bomb like one night and just just nothing worked for you. Sure, but I did,
don't I like to do that. It's funny like you talk about more to come up on the come up. You can't do that. I like the bomb, get nah, I can't because you learn from it. I don't understand what you said. I like the bomb. Here's why. Because I'm growing. I'm not there. If I go to a show and i'm there and I'm not getting paid, it's one thing. When I'm doing the show, y'all come and see me. You'll paying for a ticket, I'm gonna give you a show. If I'm going up to like comedy cafe,
laugh actory, comedy testing material. Is that that's true, that I'm going up there to to grow in some way. I'm allowing me to use the stage for my progression and comedy. So it's not about if jokes don't work, that's all right. Not everything you think is funny or great, it's just not happen. It's part of the process. Not every run you rights on't be hot. But when you say that one and you see the Puerto Rican to go, we gotta you know when you said somethinghow so it's
the same thing. And damn money back, Wow, you're making money like you want to tip. This is a trick, got ideals? He would be like, damn, I thought, then give me a hunted um. So so you gotta try to stuff out. You can't be afraid to fail. Bombing is part of comedy. And I feel bad for the new guys that come out and they bombed, and then you stays and then you see suicidal. I was going through a hand like that. I could if this wolf was like this building was two stories high, that ship.
They hurt. But when you when you're g in the game, just go, nigga. I'm just trying ship. I'm gonna see how it goes. And sometimes, for me, a bomb is the best thing I did because I made him quiet, because I got to express what the funk I wanted to express without your judgment. See, nowadays, everybody want to judge you for your thoughts. I gotta go to dark places. My job is to go in these dark tunnels that everybody looking scared to go in and go get these
fucking jokes. So excuse me if I offend some motherfucker's on the way there. I'm gonna going in and get these jokes. It's like free psychiatry for you, Yeah, and for everybody else. I'm going to heal. I'm going out there for just my healing. I'm going there for all you nigga's healing because all y'all been through this ship. And I'll give a funk what the joke is. You gotta be able to go down there. You've gotta be able to hear silence. You've gotta be able to offend,
offend motherfucker in order to get truth. Yeah, because that's somewhere between awkward and entertaining is hilarious? Is it harder to being comedian now because of of everybody being so sensitive, everybody being like right now, like like right now, I can right now giving you a fake example. I'll give you example. Um, I probably ruin my career. Ship there beer is nothing I do that back. Why did be say like this? It was the call for his hunt
of dollars. You're doing the call away a hundred dollars ship cocaine. He did a hard part for real part. Okay, So what we're talking about this beer? Talking about? Um? Given an example of how jokes about twenty I got, I got, I got, say boy, it's high with amaze that y'all. You know your job, your job, ship, go keep don't job, but let your job is don't remember ship. You remember ship, and maybe you'll be right now. Twenty one Savens dropped the album. In his album one line,
he said, I want to have Jewish money, right. Yeah, he made no disrespect to the Jewish community. And what he's trying to say is you know Jewish people and say the wood always have money, right, So if we can offend people in rap with those type of lives. What is comedy like, what is the future comedy there? Listen, people, people don't get offended by that in comedy people people
ain't seeing what's happening. There's outside forces that are intervening and coming at us and attacking us on social media. And these are shots and these bots are created from other countries. Is trying to take and bring down everybody and anybody that's successful right now, they're trying to bring it down. They're trying to create these wars. They're trying to make us ultra sensitive. They're trying to create and
disrupt us and create uh unharmonious society. And these stupid motherfucking people feeding into this, and the press picks this bullshit up and the press puts this out and they feed it back in. And what's happening is you're killing the core and the five of America and what and and people don't even understand that we're being we're being puppeted. He's stupid motherfucker's and I'm not even this is a high thought. It sounds said. It goes to the heart
of us going on. And that's tower that's in the front seat. Special Special Time in the front seat, and then they said he woke up and said stay woke. No, but understand that we're being manipulated and bad and what people are doing. His feeding into this. This is a bigger agenda. That's that I may die after saying this ship and it's not because I'm saying it here and a little I don't know where the funk we're here. So what I'm saying is comedians can still do what
they do. You can still not give a funk. But what happens is sometimes when you don't give a fuck, you do a joke, and now the corporations is like, yo, we can't message you because that joke you did has before Like what kims the only funk with me? Because yes it was because I don't think Kevin Hard could have stepped stepped down? Um you think if he did what? What was it? In your opinion that they wanted an
actual apology for something that wasn't that he did? Again, is red think he said something that have passed everything else from the past. Mind you just sucked up, which is twit tens twelve years ago apologized before he made his first million dollars, I gotta make some noise, so he's gonna say something loud of this. I personally don't think comedians need to apologize for Chris Rock thing that. I don't think comedians need to apologize anything. I ain't
gonna lie. I know I saw that lie. I'm not gonna trust. Here's why we all grew up in the neighborhood. I'm sitting there with a bunch of especially poor people, right, nobody here on the fluency and white guys says niggers. Right. We all grew up in projects and he's pending tentryes and ship and you always got those white boys that you hang with. That's your niggas, and you go yo, I do it. I talked about my special you get
that the Nigga pass because y'all are that cool. I know you ain't saying nigga at me with the eon. I know you ain't saying nigga in a disrespectful way. See, it's not about a word, It's about the connotation of the world. What do you mean about what you're saying? Because nigga, you can say hi and I'll be like what you mean by HW? I could be like, yeah, like what that could be? Except exactly what. It's what you say behind the word. I don't get caught up
in words. And I think as a society what we have to all do is get less sensitive. My nigga, nobody trying to hurt nobody. This is love and we have to read between the lines. And what's the comedians convenience? Was that one place where that passed there wasn't regularly you just let it ride. I'm not politically correct. I probably would never be. Now. I don't like being locked in the cave with the weeds smoking. But if I
was politically corrective, I can't do that smoking. Um know this windows think I want to kill You're right, this is we doing like thoset Vegas, those vegas for the bunker. Like this is you say, like who from little be a good coping? This didn't serious going out met the Vibes House Studios, House of Vives. I'm sorry, I ain't gonna bake this bullshit up y'n't do nothing. Wants your birthday? I want bob you some man. It's a good bump sholter.
What happens when things like that, like for instance, like azz right, he gave he gave a bitch head and yeah, like y'all was ridiculous. But she didn't like it, and she she feels that she cut down with me too. I feel like that's that's out of me too. Was like, now hold you on your almost that's what I'm saying things. I'm sorry, you need a correction, right men. We was out of control. Absolutely, we was out of control. And it's okay. I have a daughter, I got you know,
women in my life. I love you know, my sister is my mom. We had a good run, and it's okay for them to start getting a correction there right now. It's it's it's it's it's getting there because they need to be valued. But it's a correction and it's rightful, and so I'm not mad about it. But the things that annoy me sometimes is when it goes too far. And that's when you're like, all right, now, you're being sensitive. There's a point where people stop taking your plight serious
sleep when it goes too far. But you bitches, I don't think. I don't know drug me. Y'll tell I'll tell this much. I don't drink that niggas coffee. Did you have a broke lot with me? I didn't like me a nigga too much. You say nigga like yeah, but you know, like what cos me right? I feel
like I still he's still my hero. In terms of comedically, I don't have to like everything about you that's real, but I'm not going to denounce the thing about you that was great because that makes me a fool like afrikand it we love African bad Bottom or o j or no Jon sample you're talking my boys. That's I totally forgot about. I thought that's what you made. Yeah, but any of them, you have to respect what they did great because Cosby if it was, but Cosby did
be no probably Obama in the office. Cosby made black people and then what rooms possible Cosby is real. It's really broken for them niggas for twelve years. I want to rob them to I didn't want to road saying. But at the same time, I don't condone him doing anything harmful to women because like I said, I got a mama, got daughter, got sisters. It's just in humane. It's a it's true and like I said, I wasn't there. But if it's true, yeah, take your ass to jail.
I'm not gonna sit there and be like yeah, and then you know that one deal is always one girl. They're going, yeah, he might have did it, but an episode he did with about THEO with the shirt. But but but if you do those kind of heinous crimes, you should you should spend time in jail. And there's no excuse for that. But to sayde wasn't a great comedian,
it's not true. But um, look look at the difference between him and Harvey Weinstein, right, And I know we all in Hollywood, and there's no we're not trying to be politically correct. He tell this, I knew Harvey. I look at Harvey. I say, I think he touched up. I did three three more plays. I did four movies with Mer and Max. Let me tell you they don't just rape women, they rape niggas too. In the deals, oh my god, the deal took the scame with the franksise,
you are franchise, you don't take this ship. He went to fast. No, but this character, right, and you know, like I said, I'm not I don't know, but when a bunch of women come forward, what you have to do is something Terry Crew rust his ass. That wasn't Terry. It wasn't barby somebody somebody else, and I wanted to meet the negative, to touch his crews. He was trying to commit a new way to commit suicide. He's like, I don't want to jump over the I don't want
to shoot myself. I know I'll find the biggest nigger I know. Um so, so what I'm saying is like all these things, like I said, they needed to be a correction. Women deserve the right to be protected. They deserved the right. I tell him, my son, us as men, we gotta do better. We gotta do better. We gotta tell our boys, hey man, you can't do that. Hey man, no, you ain't supposed to you know a woman. No, no, no, no circumstances. I get it. I get you made to
call with you the N word. Well guess what, nigga, you could walk down the stairs. You ain't got you walk away. I had a good example in front of me as a father, Black men, men of color, men of anything. You need to be your kid's life, and you need to be present and you can teaching is the right way to do. Shout and women shouldn't have to fight for their rights and their equality the same way Black people shouldn't have to have fought. They should have been a given that I'm a fucking human being
and I shouldn't be treated like this. But it's not. And so when people are fighting for their freedoms, then we should support that and support their rights. Are not. Now you being one of the successful comedians and one of the people. By the way, if you're coming to the show tonight in Miami and it's gonna be in Durrell and I got one show, now I got you're gonna be at least you're gonna be. Yeah, I don't know,
I'm talking about. Let's pick it up. So I got two shows tomorrow, one show Sunday, and I got two shows on Monday. And I want to say, if you're coming tonight, um, it's probably gonna be a terrible show. Special showing me. Let me just tell your something. You are. You are one of the You are one of the top comedians out there. You one of the people that
we identify with the hood. This is the reason why you know constantly and you know what I can tell hip hop helps that hip hop helps the gap between comedians and wrapped absolutely. But here's what I want to ask you though, um, was there ever any scrutiny after white chicks, right, because there's always this this thing that they say that to unempower black man, that they want to put a skirt on us, so they want to put you know, lay, So one of that created that theory,
the wrong blood red the white horse. We have to allow this was you guys script. You came up with that. This is my brother Shaw came up with it. Okay, we all wrote it in and produce it. Okay, cool, So that's that that's the white people don't do this, so so so can we something like that this was your guys thing as opposed to because people think is it's always a white pon that says yo, we were trying to even even if they did if it's a
brilliant script. Right, nigger, you telling the story, you shallow minded motherfucker. Let art be art. Don't come in here with your scrutiny and your bullshit. What are you doing to better society? What are you doing the better race? Because your opinion, my nigga, is just an opinion. So why don't you do something that's actually gonna be effective instead of pulling us apart? Let's bring us closer together. Goddamn white people don't sit around and look at Rob Williams.
Agy don't address here emasculated the white race. I haven't heard that yet. Robert Williams will addressed black time. People are were trained. They're trained us to hate on each other. And we kiss my tropical duns so high up keep keeping he was rubbing his Jesus. Let's so we're trained to hate on each other. We trained. We have to open self up. Why is it that we call out forefathers of comedy, coons and buffoons, but white people call their's greats. Rob, do they look at do they look
at Charlie Chapman and Buster Keaton and call them? I don't know about the cruis who I'm just saying in terms of I mean people call I mean, I'm just saying for anybody, Yes, sometimes yes, yes. And it's been labeled that throughout history, been labeled that. Why we have to look at my heroes in a negative competition of connotation. The people that made it for us to be in
this situation. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be where we are, to be able to tell the kind of stories about the kind of black man that we are. That man did what they had to do back then to get us in the game. So who we look back and judge. Meanwhile, they look at theirs and they applaud, and we can't look at ours and applaud, applaud the effort and go, here's what I could do differently. Com but even then, but look at when Robin Williams puts
on the dress. White people don't Tom Hanks will address when he did, and did anybody go Tom hankshl like he's emasculating the white man. They embraced that we have we have to embrace Alix obviously, did you hear that? Women like that's what happens to the black man. I had the bullshit, don't listen to do comedy? Brother? Was it funny? Was it funny? And I listen. I'm doing a movie that's polarizing. I'm doing a movie that speaks about black and whites. I'm doing a movie that empowers
both races. I'm doing a movie that is about like it's it's really a gender movie. It's White Chicks is so dope because it's you would think it's about black and white, but it's moved about black and white, it's about female male, it's it's about pop culture, it's about weird things was going. We was ahead of the curve. So for for for for US Domitory podcast. Yeah saw hasked to quit basketball California's Jersey. Are you playing basketball? And you got a terrible game? Really real talk though.
When I was driving in with Boris, what do you call him again? I said, we're gonna interview. By the way you go, I said, by the way white chicks dress like Oh. I like talking like that. But I just think it's all about how we view things, and I want to change the perspective of how we look at our past, because you know, sometimes your pass is handed you the way it was handed to you. You can't fix that. I can never change the fact that
we were slay eaves. And when you learned about slavery in school and you black, and you start sinking in your seat out of shame, because then I teaching about all the other slaveries that happened and every other fucking continent. This is telling you about the black experience, which makes you feel lower. I shouldn't have to feel lower about
something that was not in my control. I should be empowered by the fact that I went through my that experience was still here and was stronger than fucking never. And it wasn't for whatever experience that happened, Nigga, I wouldn't be there, we wouldn't be the people we are today. It's gonna turn. That's what happens when you give me contact high making sense. I got this nigga crying. Look cry. You ain't never felt so good at now, and I'm so sorry. Every different don't know what this is. I've
never seen nothing. It's black again. It looked like he's It looked like you s close this, nigga. Let's explain because so many people they want to give these people when you're a great you're great. I want to look at you in your face and tell you how much of a fan I am of you. It sounds like I'm going to die when I drink this because you hit me out, hit me out. If we're not gonna bag each other up there, who's gonna pack each other up? And as people and I'm not talking black, I'm telling
about our culture. We gotta keep continuing to say that you know what you're doing out there and how you doing it out there. We respect what you're doing and we love I got you want me, I'll take some more getting you had nineteen fucking bloods, So I just go a little. That was terrible funny to you know what. It's a Swiss. Did you get a character of that right ball? Yeah? Listen, all right, you know that it's all bad in my chest. I'm not to think a
thirty years, I've never seen him quiet life. I can't set a Moloto in my chest thirty years and I don't know what's gonna happen to me. This you so someone made this in jail money character Like, look, that's it right there. Before you're rating niggas, ego, take your shot. Just take a shot of this. Make you be sure. I hope you out. Take a shot with you. You just say, you know. I just want you to know my first bit. I've a diner the three and a half years I shot a nigga out to see in juice,
So I remember you ain't get the message. I remember day get the message. Queens was life. This nigga's whole came back. I'll tell you about that part. Yeah, give me you go on another shot. Give you a little shot, give a little shot. But what's the unity you because because I ain't gonna lie, I ain't ana lie you You are a great sport. You came in here. You can't keep giving me emotional speeches before I see you already? Like, how are happy you? Like? I got you? Come that
great number one for the ship. I ain't say great, but look at that. That's it. That's it, that's it. Come on, I got you, man. Let me give you a little bit more that I got cool. Called me a little more because I don't want you don't have to believe like that. Come on, I gotta know alright, alright, look everybody, look, anybody take the shot. Hold on, let me tell you something. All of our all of our crew and off they didn't want to come in today.
When I said is in the motherfucking building. You know what happened? The whole dream chaps are turned down. Here. Yo, here's the thing. I don't smoke bleed right if you did high, I'm already high as hell the last hour. Let's go to do it. I can't get used to that ship. That's good. After here you go after the third one? We don't we can do the third, we have a home and that's a good one. That's everyone, but he Brooklyn last totally ship good brother, that's just
bad right one. Somebody might to go down forty. We got one job, so what's that? What's the next move for Conny? I have a question for you, What the funk did you go? Let me get anybody high and drunk and do a podcast? What the what's next? We don't get anybody show another that's my next showing shot. But he opened that window or last its long. Comedy. Comedy will be here forever. Comedy comedy will be here forever,
and as long as we keep pushing the limits. You know, sometimes if I say something offensive, I was supposed to and I was supposed to give up that part of my career to be brave enough to not give a funk, because all the real greats at some point, you gotta you have to go that I'm gonna say it, and you gotta be truthful because nobody else is gonna say it. Because that's why the motherfucker's and comedians and to us, we gotta say it. And if I lose all you niggers,
I don't give a funk. The people that shots to take them home with us. I'm still talking right, I get drunk. I'm kind of drunk. Money, You got drunk where I'm wanted to put your glasses all right, nobody drives better, So for me, you have to push the limits. We gotta not give a funk. We gotta keep going there. And if I lose fans, fuck them because the ones that I don't those are the ones that I'm supposed
to have. And it's stuck with me because they know that I'm protecting them by speaking truthfully about what the fund is happening. And that's always And you gotta be a real nigga funck. All this this you can't beat. You gotta beat politically correct nigga comedy is not politically correct. This click correct comedians and they do great, but that's for them. For me, I'm not that nigger. Somebody fought it and trying to cover it up and ship many people wanted to be a point nobody not give. My
job is to not give. My job is to talk about what people want to talk about. Some I'm gonna beat that nigger. And if I ever if I ever say something that loses fans or loses a show loses endorsements, then that was all supposed to be lost for me to find the new mean and for the audience to find that I'm a true motherfucker. I always spoke my motherfucking mind, and those that loved me will bring me back to the top to make some noise for that cause. Let me ask you this, because yeah, I'm trying to
do I'm trying to be good at my job. I got one. So listen to Richard Pryce Richard Pryan story. Question get deeper and deeper, because when I heard the Richard Price story, and this is God honest, I kid you not, I don't. I think I said it on the podcast. I'm not sure, but when I heard it, I felt like it was either you or Mike Gaps. I don't feel like anyone should ever be in the running for it. I just feel like I think either one of us were at the Justice and it was
a great experience for me. Man Um, I don't know what's happening with the movie. Um it's been through you know. It started out my brother Dan was gonna do it years ago. It was gonna be actually was gonna do it, and Mike and me and Mike, and so we said, Eddie murphih is gonna do a plate Richard or be
at a point all right? And for me, I'm just I'm bloods because going up for that audition brought me to the stage that in the movie did my brother Damon called behind a smile um brought me to the stage. So my hero and comedy meaning going to play his life. I felt like, I do Richard Price story, I should get my ass on stage, gonna play the greatest comedian. Never I didn't get my ass on stage, and so I started doing stand up and that that's the thing
that really got me started doing stand up. And so the movie happening or not happening, it didn't affect me in a negative way. I was like, God, I want I don't It'd be great to play. I want to play great. I'm gonna be a great And that's what
why I'm playing doing stand up every goddamn weekend. This weekend, I'm at the Miami and I appreciate you in Dural Miami, and I got two shows Friday, once your Friday to show Saturday, one show Sunday, two shows on Monday, New Year's Eve, Come off, Come and then next weekend I'm at the West Palm Beach Improv. And the weekend after that, I'm at the improv in Orlando. Tonight we got me not dropping this tonight, not missing um so because you know, you know you gotta go so um you were supposed
to let hit this tonight too. That sounds like us. Yeah, don't worry. The fans will hit you and tell you. So. You were supposed to play Robin, Dick Gracon Batman. They Swiss directors and they can change. And Tim Burgen they're supposed to play Robin supposed to play Robin's supposed to play robbing and Batman Batman, but it was would be the first black blocking robbing. Yeah, but you know what's the tightson fit? You would happened two days Robin Robin
way too bid. But it's like your fine, I look at it like this, man, if it didn't happen, I try to tell us. I tell us an audience, I tell us to people, I tell us to my kids. If it didn't happen, it wasn't meant to be. What's God trying to tell you when that didn't happen? For me, it was God saying I don't want the easy road for you. I need you to have a harder road. If I did Robin, I would have never written Don't be a Menace. I would have never did and never
did scary movies. I would have never did created Wayne's Brothers with my brother Sean. I would have never did get the things that I wound up doing if I didn't do those. If if if I didn't not how do I say this, it's a double nigger. If I, if I didn't have happened, that's inan I would I would have never done it. But being that I didn't do Batman with the movie Backman, being that I didn't do that, it was the best thing that never happened.
So open up on the door streets. But you relieve yourself because you got g I Joe when I ain't gonna. I don't even know he was in g I Joe. I went out there to see it, and I've seen you was the only nigga that my nigga, and the first thing I saw, they killed me. In the second one, they like killing I could kill. They never killed him. In the cartoons. The thing is living in the cartoon. Everybody over the lasers once again. You know I don't. I don't. I don't sit there and the whole tight too.
Things that didn't happen. Keep it moving. I got shipped to do, so if it don't happen, believe me, I got shipped to do. And I'm always doing something new. I'm always trying to grow, trying to get better. So I don't sit there and be mad and be hurt and nick and I go, what's funny about this? Because I'm gonna use it somewhere. I'm gonna express this on the stage something Nicka is gonna feel it. But at the same time, I go, all right, so how do I take the same energy and put it into what
I'm doing next? And listen, I don't even listening. I was on my next question and the program ship like DJ, that's what's up. But listen, I'm in Queen's. You went to Loguardia High. The air got to high school. No, you gotta stop from New York. I'm from Queens. Tried to like make like MICKI Minds was the first person to make LaGuardia High popular. Breath Now are you disrespecting the gods? This is why they when you just like
our baby girl. And that's what I'm I see Nikki and I'm like my baby like because we came before. So whenever I see Nikki, I'll be like baby because we fam l ag fam. So you gotta think man on my aps Alpaccino, Adrian Brody, There's been so many great people to come out. Look way high school. I didn't know that. Come on, you was just man like, why would you pull school? Man? You take the Holles call like I don't trust the holl call just with beans in his front seat dollars? Why he ain't got
nothing to say? Man, Come tell us we got the Jews. Come on, Yeah, thank you Peggy. So you was in Je because of killing dogs? And movies are funny? Yeah some juice? Yes are your well you know we're watching. I want to thank you, love friend that these cats me MoMA Omar became friends actually best friends. Yeah. You know what would again? What we we we to this day? We still right? Hard? Um? Why you put this time?
They go on? You ain't got understand, yes question, but I auditioned for juice, like like the year they graduate of the year before me. We all kind of got movies At the same time Mallin got more money, Omar got juice. I did this independent film which you have gold Boom, and then I also got the rolling juice.
Now I knew, I knew forest what I'm not. I'm sure there look I am I but I met Ernest Dickinson when I was an internal do the right thing is back, and then he put me and gave me the opportunity to do a scene where he allowed me onma to write the pool all see the whole Brendon with a spool shine the super scene. Me and Omar
wrote that it wasn't in the script. We like, we wrote it and he set the cameras around it, and then you called me back and then we ends up doing then you don't put flow away at the time set went out. So that's God saying, smoke this man's face. Stop working real good a stick being friend with this guy's dope. I mean, like what you see, like Mama is I mean, it's not an act. You know, he's
he's he's he's a he's a supportive brother. You know, he looks out for people, he wants the best in you, he pushes you, he's you know the way his big brothers pushed in my looking all the more as a as a brother and a friend. He definitely pushes you like you know he was. He'll say something didn't make you mad, like you know, I ain't sunk with that nigg of the day fun me either. When he wants, yeah, but want, he makes you understand the means to get what you want and he pushes you to get there.
I just want y'all both to know, you know, um drink champs. We realized that there wasn't a platform for us to pick up big up our people. There's so many like I Just like I said, I don't want to keep reiterating myself, but I do want to reiterate that if we're not gonna pick each other up, there's no people in this world. You see me at once, we all y'all come do my podcast, and today it wasn't about publicist and all that you nigga hit me. I appreciate keys. You know, we made it happen, said
I need this, said yes about it, man. I know would love for all that we do, man, because it's so hard for us in this industry. And I just pray that one day we create our own industry. And the only way to do that is to have conversations and have have interactions that me and you had, which is like yo, mo, nigga hit me. It's communication is building. Let's let's go. Do you you're doing a podcast, I'll be I'll hit you up in a second. Yo, Yo, I'm doing the soundtrack for such come come do? Can
you do this? Just in case you know I started problem. I'm sorry about that call on pologize for his first time though he got I'm fine about I see the one thing he claim he only comes so playing because the baby that looks so much like that again to night, this is you, this is you. That's funny. Man. Listen, man, listen, MoMA man, and I want to thank you and mince both of y'all think y'all take your time out, appreciate because again our culture.
