And it's drink Chess, motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper. He's greed is your boy in o R. He's a Miami hippop pioneer. Put up his dj e FN together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast. And your number one source for drunk drinks motherfucking every day is New Year's e just like it's time for drink Champs. Drink up

mother mother. He said, gree Hope, it's you. That's your boy in o R. What up his dj e F and his motherfucking military crazy world up to drink Chance Move podcast, make some up and right now. If you in joy hip hop, if you enjoy music period, this is hands down one of the top producers, one of the top artists development persons in the world. The man has took people from nobody and made them superstars. Not once, not twice, not three times. I'm talking about over ten times.

He was the guy with to go two hits at one point. If you didn't have a j D record, you just wasn't late on his back to Oh yeah, he definitely put a land on his back. Landers running hip hop right now. We got motherfucking one of my favorite producers in the world, Jemaine Depri now off top um. Criss Cross just turned twenty five. The album just turned twenty five? Like how how how is that? How did

that feel? Um? They don't feel like it's no, but it's crazy because you know, like that's that's Um, I never thought it would even be something that people even care about, you know what I mean? So for people to still care about it and you know it's my that's my history and they've grown folks now, So um, now, ja do you have such a like a remarkable reputation like you worked, you work with kids, Yet you've never had an allegations of doing no crazy ship like you know,

no mar Kelly ship around around you at all. Your ship is super clean like people people give you, they take my care to make them a star is real and you never like like you know, I paid to the room, is just because I'm in the same industry. You have a clean reputation is nothing like you just you're just really there to make stars, I guess. And

how is that though? Like how is that? Because um, I can see like I can see the chain I was too young to see criss cross right, but you know I would go backstage and I would see you guys, and I seen him go from like a kid to an actually grown man. Now how is that to see the transition when you see people. I mean, you know, it's really funny, is that? Um? When you speak about the kids, it's only the only ever worked with two kids artists criss Crossing, But everybody thinks I worked with

that's all I worked with. But yeah, so I mean really both of them, just watching them grow up and I mean it's it's like it's like having a kid, you know, like you see him, you watch them and the brat was quote she was a teen, was changing everybody. Everybody was everybody's been and you started young too. He was dancing with Hudini and yeah, that's that's kid pop

right there. That's real. That's real. Like that man, So you like you cast to me was like the first people like stepping up for Atlanta showing people that because at this time and for the South at this time. But you're from Miami. He's from Atlanta, out from New York at this time. Us in New York, we always thought it was like Bama's and y'all was slow, and then you came out with your music. Outcast came into music, and we realized, oh, they're pretty much the same as us,

just with a little accent. But how how do you feel like seeing Atlanta being at the forefront of hip hop? Now? You ever thought this day? But I think I think it's amazing, um because I um, Criss Cross was actually the first, you know, rappers to bring platinum music to Atlanta as far as the rap goes, you know, space artists coming out of Atlanta to all the show. So

Death based on All Stars was my artist too. But I'm saying as far as like you know, Cris Cross's first album, they sold eight million records, you know what I mean. So it's like they was the first people in Atlanta to create what you'll see right now. You can't just say it's like me like that. How old was you at that time? I was seventeen? What you so e records? I don't even know how. I don't

even know the count back. That's just a lot of money at seventeen, super So was it ever a time when you went like you realize that you know, you're not yourself no more like you got Hollywood basically ever want no no no, because you know, I had this UM. I always had people that seem like they didn't you know, they wanted to check me, you know, because I was so young, So I was I always had to deal with the young thing, like I'm the young nigger soul.

Everybody think they got one up on me. So I was always out here to just try to prove myself constantly over and over again. So like when I was mixing, UM, I was. I was excited like that one day what you're talking about, Like I was. I was on my Hollywood ship at the studio and I was excited. Chris Cross was number one and Bruce Springstein was like number two and like he was popping and um and I was.

I was running around the studio just really excited. And it's like the first day I met baby Face, and baby Face was at the studio and he came in and he was like, I was like, oh ship's baby Face was like yeah, what's up? And he's like, yeah, you got that little record jump humhump didn't make it. He hit me with the little record and I'm like little record popping, Like that's why I was at But then he hit me with it. You know, yeah, you got a little record. This pop is good, right, but

it wasn't. He didn't really seem like it didn't seem like I did nothing that towards you or was that towards rap period that was towards me. I felt like it was to work like that, you know, And he was just like, you know, um, as a producer, songwriter, you know that don't really mean nothing until you can do a multiple time to prove. When he said that, my Hollywood ship went out the window. Like, okay, baby face just tried to stunt on me. I gotta get

this nigga back. I gotta go working, you know what I mean. So I just from that point on, I just started like focusing on putting out more and more artists. I wouldn't even think about nothing else. Hollywoold have nothing. Just let's go that that's real right there. Now. I gotta ask you about this line said, I gotta see be with Jermaine because for he owes me for the jump ship? What he what does he talking about? Yeah, you don't remember that he never did he ever get paid?

But you know, what was that about? Like now, you know, like, um, everybody thought I stole that song, and everybody wanted to say I stole a song from somebody, like I don't. I don't know why, but you know, it's just like like I said when you when you were young, it's a young producers, young artist rapping and hip hop. At that particular point in time, young niggas was getting to like the straight son like NA, no, no, we want

to lett y'all. N we're not letting y'all V. Then the record got super big and it was like, oh, ship, they end what we're gonna do right, So then it was like House of Pains and Stolen. The records come out the same year. No John came before a House of Pain record. But they think that they they said that the label because we signed a rough House and Joe Joe Niccolo basically Joe the Butcher basically signed us and it was his label, so I think they thought that.

Um Joe played their version of the song for me and then I went and redid it. You know, there's people just trying to find it all the time, and you know, uh, and then Naughty they did jump, but they did something before they did. Um I don't remember. Um they didn't. Yeah, before they did opp they used to do this jump thing on on stage. It was a part of their act, like so so you know they felt like I took that from them from for the song as well. Okay, did you ever get together

and talk about the squash it or anything? I mean, me and KG was cool all the time. You know, Trench just was like trench translation like that, we all we all, it's all done now recently we did had the hip hop on his awards. Right now, they say I'm a hater because they never invite me, right, but that's not what I'm bringing up right now. But they don't invite me. Right, let's do that. I gotte. But

let me just tell you something. The only part of the show was I didn't appreciate you a masterpiece sharing that moment. I felt like you you had you needed moment. I felt like he needed his own moment. Is that well? I mean it was my second time being on it, so I think that they was like I think probably, I don't know one if they you know, they even thought about it. I did it before where I really you know, me and Puff performed, Um, I did Criss

cross franchise Boys Can. I did like a whole big performance before when I was on it the first time, So I think this time it was just they was just really trying to like show which labels they felt like from the South. It wasn't really about me per se. It was about the labels. So that's why I think we shared. It was really like what labels they feel like? Put light in the South. Okay, you could be humble,

I'm not gonna be home. You deserve your moment. They should have had you out there especially, had saluted the whole so so deaf. Sometimes they were mixing songs. They had a big fat Joe and Remy mar performed with Trick Daddy. Yeah, it was like they didn't it made It's like I feel like I feel like hip hop deserves more, not that this is the hip hop on its at all. When we deserved more. I felt like that whole moment should have been a social deaf moment.

It should have been like like I felt like your artis should have came out and performed for you. You know what I'm saying. At that moment, like all the artis or people would have just fans and you like even like you know, I noticed is throwing it out there be even like a jay Z gonna come out and you know, do money anything with one of the new young artists. I just felt like they could have did better more because for us, going all these years,

we were not celebrated. Um now we're living in the times where it's it's social media so we can celebrate it. And another thing, this is what I want to tell you. So I want to tell you if uh those our guys names, you know where I'm going. I wrap right off. Let us disgusting. He said he wasn't top ten producer. He got a game. I gotta I got, I said, Yo, I don't understand. He gotta relax, he gotta relax. It's like I was, I wanted you to walk out of

the interview. I'm like, I don't even hate them, but I was just like Jave, like you all hands down, like listen. And there was times where you know, labels with it was sitting around they be like you need a Jermaine dupri record, Like this is real ship and I'm talking about people had to come and then like what what Jason sad? He said, I'm even making your ship tighter. There was a time where you really had to come to see you in order to make it hit.

Like you define the word hit record, you do you believe? You know, you believe. I think that's a hard like I carry that that's hard. So I never really try to pay too much attention. Somebody come to you. Yeah, they come and trying to get a hit record, and that's you know that, it's not even the room for me to even like just be cool and do anything. It's like, oh God, they want they want this, they want that, they want I gotta try to get this again,

you know what. You know what I noticed and maybe you can help me with this that if you kind of maintain being a producer, you won't ever fall off. Like at some point they're gonna get tired of the artist because he's the front man. But if you're producing records and you know how to do it and you maintain a certain a producer can never fall off. Is

that true? No, Now, you can't if you start like copying your sound, copying your sound, like you know, like when people like people would come to me and say, I got a new artist, I wanted give me some of them usher records, that you, and I'm like, no, I'm not. I'm never going to do that like I would. I would always try to stay away from that. That

was raping my job even harder. Basically because Chris Cross sounds like Criss Cross, Murad Carry sound like Murad Carry, sound like this brand sound like this Nobody Records sounded like I took this and gave it to this person. You know what I mean. I couldn't do that. Did you ever have to be in the studio of the right carry said a wrong vocal and you had to tell her to do it better? She's probably like she's would be scared. She's not, She's not that, she's not

that artist. She's she's cold in the studio. She knows exactly what you want to do. She's telling me like, shample this, nigga, this ok now, Now you worked with Jack JA made I'm actually random industry stuff. JA made this album four four four right now? Now? Had I would have loved that album and twenty five? What I would have loved it at thirty five? I'm fourty, I just turned forty. I love it. But is it because I'm forty or is it because it's just a great

body of work. You love it because Jay's rapping, you know what I mean, He's rapping right, you want to hear jay Z rapped. He's rapping like he's he's giving niggas balls, he's throwing shots, he's doing he's doing what we wanted to hear jay Z do. And then then on a on a different level, like the way No I D chop these samples up. It's like this is new by the way, the music sounds like nothing else this ever came out right, So you should love it.

If you love hip hop, you should. You should be you should cherish this album because it doesn't sound like anything else that's album, and it made him seem like he wasn't trying to sound like that sound neither, like so many It hurts me sometimes when we have legendary artists who are legends, they will need nothing to add on to their career and they go to try to, you know, get get the new future sound or the

new Suzy verse. I always kind of like hate that because it's like you don't always have to be the same, but you can always just just stay in that realm. And j did was completely opposite. Was just like he just did him. Yeah, I mean that album is called to me. Like I said, I think that um from a production standpoint, I think was genes that he went and found one producer like nobody else has been doing

that recently. They just did something else that was just a mindset of separate with than what's going on in the game right now. You think you think the way he released the music also has something to do with him having the luxury to be able to do that album the way he did it, like, you know, putting it out through the through the phones and not having to worry about certain you know, expectations of releasing records

the way it used to be. I know, I think I think I think he had a responsibility that people was holding it to him, Like niggas wanted jay Z to come out, and like, Yo, I'm let's hear jay Z and jay Z. Let's hit jay Z in a way that none of these other little young rappers could. Let's make sure that they don't sound like they could even come nowhere around right. He did. He did that. He basically a tone like Yo, this this what y'all do.

This is what I do. And they given time, y'all want to come over here, y'at right now, let me ask you a question. As a producer, right, you haven't gotten just a studentsically, you pop one of these bottles, pop it over there, because you know you're not that skilled. I've never been in a studio with an artist, any artist, it doesn't have to be hip hop, and they just didn't deliver it and it turned you off. Yeah, let's talk about it. J d um oh man. I mean,

it's happened a bunch of times. It's happened a bunch of times. Um, I won't say that it turned me off. It's just a learn it's a learning lesson for me, right and UM be careful. That's hot? What is that rose? I guess one of the one of the one of them. I guess one of the ones that really shot me the most was that um Whitney Houston. I was in the studio with yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeahs told look that was when that was when you read

my name. J was in this thro so um myke cadence of writing is I'm a rapper, so I write songs like rap records. So I try to get the artists to sing like rappers, you know, what I mean. So you listen like Usher, he basically sounds like he's rapping when he's singing these songs. Um so my canons. F what's good? Man? Man? You know these days, man, Stamps dot Com is making a trip very short for you. That's right. But these days you can get practically everything

on demand. That's right, man. So who who's still going to the post office? When you get it on demand, it comes to your career, pick it up and all that. toe nails. I do things like that with stamps dot Com. Yeah, man, you know, I just don't want to deal with the lines at the post office. I love the post office, but man, if I could just use stamps dot Com, it's gonna save me a lot of time, a lot of headache, and just a lot of just a lot of time I could be doing other things. You know, so right now, use our name for this special offer. That's Champs c h A m p S. Tell The four week trial includes postage and digital scale. Don't wait.

Go to stamps dot com before you do anything else. Click on the radio microphone at the top of the homepage and type in Champs that stamps dot com. Enter Champs stamps dot com. Never go to the post office again. That's Champs c h A m p S. Drink Chance, Baby, let's do a lot of times these older artists they can't really catch the cadence and that that was really shocking to me. That was like the learning lesson to me.

That let me know that what I was doing was something that was, um it was younger, I guess, innovative, I don't know, whatever you wanna call. I had Whitney Houston in studio. I wrote a song for her and she couldn't catch my cadence and I was like, I was really fucked up? Was Whitney Houston. I'm like, she wanted the best singer in the world, Like, but she can sing, but that that that cadis just on wasn't.

That wasn't what she was used to, so it didn't really It didn't like make me like I hate this artist, but it really it really let me understand that what I was doing was something different than what what they was used to. Now, have you ever had an artist at Hollywood on your soilot to This is to you man, right now, this is J D. Jermaine depri. I don't know what they called horrible that we celebrate your life.

We celebrating your career and were celebrating you. Make the like if you ever gott Hollywood on you like, like you know, come to this session late, come in and just not perform and just you know what I mean, just you know, drink some Hennessy and you're like, man, I remember you from the beginning and now you just you know what I mean? Nine of them I mean, because you know, like I'm really when it comes to the studio ship, I'm really like, um, I'm way different

than any other producers. Like I don't like, I don't like people in the studio when I'm working, I don't be with the girls in the studio and people I don't be with none of that. I'm trying to get the work done right. So a lot of people don't really a lot of artists. They don't even they think my ship is too like cookie cutter. But I mean that's how I do. That's how I've been doing forever, right and um so it's really like straight to the point. When I go to the studio, I don't really have

nobody come like too loose. Um. I mean I have had situations in the studio that's crazy thought it. I mean I I thought about this one on the way over here, and I never told nobody about this. I know you wanted this story. I please, I want to I don't know what it is, but I want to go that. Um. I was in the studio big right now, and the first time I ever seen biggie every first time I've ever seen anybody not write their lyrics. Now this is before this is all money and we keep it.

But I don't want to cut I'm definitely not cutting up story. But isn't it scary to see your motherfucker's go like this? In their head they'd be like, that's how people write rounds, But out they be like and it's like, yo, the first times you're going even further big, never mouth nothing big with the biggest smoke. Ten bunts listen to the beat and never mouth one time. He's not even bobbing neither. I mean he bobbing, but he never was like never, not one time. I'll sit there

and watch them. I'm like, I gotta see how you do this, because by the way, I wasn't doing this. I was still writing my wraps on paper. But I saw this firsthand by him the first time. I'm like, I gotta learn how to do this? Ship like what is what? How do you know? How do you? I don't write nothing that. I don't write anything, especially education. How do you? I'm like, how so? And he don't

even he's not talking to you. But where he's doing this, he's like sees rolling rolling another one, and I'm like this nigg is chained smoking blunts and his verses done right there and he's like, yo, put the microp I'm ready, And I'm like, when did you write the rat? And he was like, I got it in my head. And he goes into going to vocal booth. It's not like he's experimented with like it sounds it sounds like he

was out there rapping, but he didn't do it. So that studio session was um this song called just like me with Usher. Right, So what he did was he wrote the rap for Little Kim and Little Kim at this particular point in time. This was the time when Big I'm thinking he fucked Kim's sister, right, this this is in the music in the music, and she found

out about it. So she was upset when she came to the studio about this, and and and he and she couldn't really get her to do the rat and me and Usher was just you know, we were there young watching what's going on and Big Pool strap out on her on camp yes to later verse or just let her kill her? Oh my god, I was about to say he was real ship like him. She was upset and really couldn't do though. Was she wading out? Yeah, Like she came, but she didn't really want to come

because she was upset. And he was like, yeo, we got j D and us here, you can't be back, and like you know, and I'm like, what's going on? What is going on right now? And it just went around for a minute, like said it was. It was that kind of deterred the studio session. But it got to a point where she she really couldn't do her rat. So he pulled out the studio and they went into the hallway. And when the hallway, I thought it was gonna go out there to talk, so I just went

out there to watch and see what's going on. I went out in the hallway and followed them in the hallway and Big and they start having an argument. Current Big they have an argument, and it got so heated that he asked his man Seagut. He said give me the gun. And I was like, the gun, you about to doing this? And he was gonna shoot hip right right in the hallway. This is great, this is crazy. That's that's that's one of my crazy stories that I'm

gonna ask. Okay, Okay, I knew he wasn't gonna smoke though, but now, um, let's speak about the dog. Who where is it that you'll try to hide it? Now? Scared to bring that out? And I'm sucking drinking. I just want to know because this is a very distinctive drink. When about I just came here. Oh I'm I'm talking about what I'm talking about, the chick up drinking very very night. I told you, he is it. Julio, Oh my god, j I gotta stop this. Okay, I don't know.

Don't don't eat you closer to it? Can you that I gotta stop that we're gonna get it done, Julio. So look, let me, let me let me ask you something. Right, this is a this is a hundred episode. Oh yeah, this is so every every episode. It's funny to me because I think I know the artist, because you know, I've been in this game twenty years, so I think I know the artist. So I pretty much say what I think the artists is gonna order like to drink.

And I knew that I was gonna order to rip, you know, saying whether it was a relationship with public or not that I did, I can do that. But when you said don nineteen forty two, you are the only guests because ever requested this. Now I know this is a rich ship. It's like a home girl a mona, and she goes to the club and she takes seveny dollars shots to this ship. Goddamn, let's make some noise for seven dollars shots. So I need you to break this down for me. Tell me why this is this special.

I mean, this's just I mean, if you're gonna drink tequilla, I mean it's a lot like let me say this, it's not the only to quill, but it's just that that this that party to kill the party. It's that party to kill it like that, and and and he go down smooth, I gotta drink a whole bottle of this. You can drink a whole bottle of that. We're gonna try to see that. You know, this is the drink bad while we're here celebrating Jermaine Duprix. You know what

I'm saying, that's the first thing I've seen you. I'm excited. I'm ahead because I feel and I know about what I was gonna cool. Sign me on this. Fully, I feel like you're a producer that gets more props just worldly as opposed to just hip hop and hip hop. We had to praise you more. And if hip hop ain't praising you right off, they're not, I'm gonna praise you. We're gonna praise you. Drink Champ's gonna praise We're gonna have fun tonight. I'm drinking out of area. So this

is a smooth one described this to kill me. And it's just you know, like like Ship described the bottle, It's like it's like it's like it's like drinking don like you know, like when we first started drinking champagne. We was drinking all kind of was trying to see what was going on, right, and I found a safe place with Dom Perry, like the dump and putting like by the way that grandma in the top mixed Grandma, you ain't inside the bottle of dump and it's amazing.

Wait wait up up did he say grandma in the dump? Continue to put the grandma inside the dump? And you know it was stupid, right, But then as time went on, we started drinking this this, this rose and then it's gotta. You know, it's gotta. It's got a very very smooth taste. The same thing with this. It started out drinking um. What was this ship called what the kill him? Other? Huh jo silver. People started drinking. People would drink. They like to die at night, Like at night they just

died and they just come back to life. That pron just was too too hard. It's too hard. It's straight to the bottom of the best. It's slip. Let me, let me float to the bottom. You know what I'm saying? Hot Southern. As as we was moving around from the you know, the patrol. This came about, so you wanted to stay with Tequila's what you wanted to do. I mean I didn't want to. I just kind of just found on this. I'm gonna be honest with you. Um j D as a as A as a real drinker.

You just describe yourself as a real drinker. I didn't know the first time someone described look at the way he look at he described the move the case. You got a glass, I'm not to kill you. Ice ice this hot. Let me get the cups. I don't want to put it all the ice. You know what I'm saying. I'm staying to still, I'm still fun out somebody I used to saying, that's where they don't know. Stay night last night, last night. Let's get into start, let's get it.

Let's get into as it talking about wound my birthday last night and live. Oh you're a virgo, leave it you're cousin. Yeah, okay, yeah virgo, Yeah, okay, I get a long way yeah, okay, godhead. So I got to take a shot to that. Okay, let me help. I'm gonna take some of that. You gotta cool to kill a guy I'm throwing out there I'm gonna start sweating like sunny D b D give me, give me a little like you gotta only take a sip of that because this is now you gotta throw that back. I'm

not to kill a poor buddy. As you can see, I'm not a great guy when it comes in to kill a poor So listen, we this is your shot for you. This is my first. By the way, by the way, this is my first. I took mine. Alright, it's my first. M Dawn Happy Birthday two. Ms at Lee said I had it one time in the club, but I was drinking. I don't remember. Said that doesn't count. So let's go. Oh, that's smooth, smooth, it's smooth. That it's you know, it's that salt that to kill the rings,

that salt I take. That's the ship that I hate because it reminds me of Mexico, like when I was like just I just woke up. I mean that period. This is this is you know, you can site. That's that's when I hear that you have to keep a sip. I never understood it, but now I get it. Let me ask you, Jeddy, what's your favorite error in hip hop? Um? I like that right, I'm like that was like I got look at it speaking about the question, because that's

a good question though, right it is. I gotta pick myself. I think like for me, it was probably like, um, let's say the nineties, the last part of the last part of the eighties. Suck me up with that one. Now, last part of the eighties to hip hop music in general? Hip hop? Okay, I subscribed that era. Who's the man we're talking about rock Kim, I'm talking my run dmc DC. Okay, I'm talking about Big Daddy came coming into the game. Now what came. We talked about Cane with with the

with the three three, messing with my daughter. Now that's not that's that's Hollywood. That was later. I'm trying to about Green Cane. Yeah, instead, that's your favorite hip hop that's my favorite. I mean because I'm sure I got the rope on. I'm into that. That's that's my you know, Slick Rink is my favorite rapper all time. Sick We're looking for you, Dug your fresh too. I just found out that Slick Rick almost shot Big Daddy. Can I just found that out? Yeah, I'm just like I was like, yeah,

you're trying to kill somebody. You try to shoot them on the tour in the bus because the apparently you know, sometimes when I do drink Champs, I don't immediately go back and watch it. But whatever. Eric Sherman said. Yeah, he said to me, you know, my phone is going crazy. I just changed my number. People are like, yo, he missed this one. It's like you you know he's describing the ep M D had Potlems with Rock caring them back in the days. You know they're all cool now.

But I had didn't know that because uh, I was a spectator at that time. I'm just from the sideline. I didn't even really technically come out to ninety seven, you know what I mean. So be looking at that and so many people are calling like it, and they told me that story that's lick Rick actually happy, but Big Daddy came and actually pulling the gun down and try to shoot them. And then they told me that

Kane and Rock him hap people. I was just listen, I gotta say that for when they're here back to Jamie and we're gonna have Big Daddy came, so so by what is your favorite hip hop the nineties? Nineties? To god? That makes a noise about I got down. Now, why why you picked that that? Right? Because I was like there, I'll first fell in love with hip hop any specific time in the nineties, the middle anywhere from

like ninety three to like nineties six seven. That's my favorite. Yeah, it's I ain't get a chance to really lived through the eighties, you know, had the YouTube all the good ship that was going on in the eighties. But the nineties I lived that, you know, I mean that was ro pox everything. See for me, it was just the most the creative, the creative era of hip hop was the best. It is like people was trying to do something nobody sound like public Enemy. We gotta mention them.

Like even in the nineties, we gotta say that even when you came out with original style, there was versions of fake Wu Tang's, there was versions of fake marb Beach. There was version versions of fake MP. So they're like the copy of met style that people are doing now. Like I can't say that it exist in the nine but it didn't fly in the nineties. Oh no, no, no,

you got checked it flies, you got checked for that. Yeah. Yeah, So that I mean an era like you know, just just like identifying off you know, brands of deaders and like what was gonna be what niggas wear to future? Like just seeing that and being able to, like you ask that question, for being able to go back and look and say which one I really like? It was that arrow away where people was really like, this is what y'all gonna wear down the road. This is gonna

be you know what I mean? Like that's why Chris Crush to me, was so um fly to people because they had they had all of that flavor, and it was like, con't you discover them in the mall walking walking through the mall in Atlanta? Just heard them. It wasn't rappers at all. They never rapped. You just said you guys are gonna wrap yeah green rock. They did you ever cut them? The mall of check right then? You just want you just you just aora. They was in the mall and they just looked like like grown

as men at eleven and twelve. They was in. They was in foot locker. They're already rocking the back of the and they was just shopping and they was buying sneakers, And I thought, I thought it was a group that already came out that I didn't know nothing about it because the girls in the mall was tripping like girls. They had girls at the store buying them ship and all kinds of stuff, and I'm like, who are these little guys? And I walked up to him, like what

do y'all do? We don't do nothing. We just kicking And I'm like, y'all just kicking Like they had so much swag. I was just like, they gotta make a record. Somebody got to you gotta do something. I mean, I've seen it immediately, like they had this they just had this ore about them. And then we went back once I met him, I mean we talked and then we

went to that. We went back to my house and we started creating the idea and then it was like everything was about gear, Like everything was about wearing closed starters and like of a fly ship. Yeah, all that, everything was a big everything. When I Pepe it was hot,

that's sound to spend it. So I had to be down with you know, it wasn't hot, so we was we was we they were just trying to figure out clothes and then it was like one day, um the light skin Chris Chris Smith came to the house and he had this big ass jibbo jump on and the jumper was so big that you could actually spin around it and not even like it was so big. It

was like the oversize. So I was like, I was like, yeah, you should flip it around backwards because it was already so big and it didn't make no, it wouldn't make no difference. Anyone couldn't. And our Baromada was the mall, you know what I mean. I found him at the mall, so he was gonna go back to the mall and see if this work. So he put his jump on bappwards and we went to Liney Squad and we went to Lineary Squad with no they still had no record.

They still I had a record. We went to Lenny Square. He had to jump on backwards, and the whole mall was acting like they've never seen nothing like this ever, And I'm like, what the funk just happened? How is this possible? But what were people doing? Like that? Was just like, oh my god, what is this what y'all got on? I'm like, it's just a regular as jumping turned around backwards? Was it cross color? And they just freaking out? So then from that point, I was like, Okay,

we're gonna way our closed backwards. We still ain't have no song though, so it's like we gotta get a song to go with this. If I get a hit record to go with this, y'all gone. That's what I just kept telling them, like it's oh, they didn't have braids or nothing. We just started like just trying to figure it out, like Okay, I had the art development here. Yeah, you know what I mean. So it's just it was

like just really just like trying to end. And Left Eye from TLC that was my group before they got signed in the face, So Left I was living at my house and and and so it was you're going please please drink some moment. Yeah, So Left I was living at my house without my mother even know when she lived and she lived him side of my house

before Yeah, before TLC. TLC was my groupe. It was called Second Nature and Left Eye right, but Left I stayed with me and she was on the like trying to get an image thing all the time, like the patches and the and all that ship. We was there every day just trying to we was doing ship to ourselves that like cut our whole eyebrows off like we was doing crazy ship just each other to be like figure out what we could come up with to be to stand out. And she was partially part of helping me,

you know, developed across at that. Now. I've seen you on a reality forget which one it was, but they brung your white kid, and I think he's something for you. And you said this kid has talent immediately, right, And I imagine that's how you felt, because that's how you just described Chris Coross. You've seen them and you knew it. Have you ever been wrong? I said, I don't see it, and then the person goes and blows up. Yeah, damn good listening to see. I wasn't wrong, but I the

people around me was wrong. Okay, let's get to it right. So so because I don't know what you mean just now, So like John Madden, I don't know what year was. This is the first time they wanted to put rap music in the video They never had rap music in the video games. So they came to me. They was like, yeah, we want you to make an intro for John Madden. And I ain't had no artists. I mean I had artists, but I ain't think that my artist was like animated

enough and right. It was this guy who's on the radio name Chris lovel Love, right, and he was making these animated as commercial sounding radio so I went and got him. He was in my neighborhood. I went and guy, and I say, I'm gonna put you on this John

Madden video game. And I basically signed him at that point, like Yo co signed right, he was on the John Man they sold whatever you know, went on Joey Madden that ship pop. And at that point I went back to my office and I asked everybody in my office. I said, Yo, we should sign Luda Chris, and everybody told me no, but he was Chris lovel Love. This was Chris lovel Love. And everybody, the whole staff told you that. Everybody was like, he's it's animated. They ain't

really don't know what that's gonna be. But animation rap was hot at that time. We had busted rhymes. I always animated, very very animated. I mean I was into it, I just but at the same time I was I was dancing between tinted to be an executive and letting the people in my office actually do something right. So I asked people and they was like, nah, we don't really know about that. And to this day I'm mad because that was my was he already rolling with shock

at that time? Huh with shokah? Of course they've been together. Yeah, So I mean that's that's the that's the only one. And I wasn't wrong because I used him. I already had put him on to John Mann, so I knew what he was cool. I just didn't react fact like I should have fun fact fun fact two. Okay, goddamn high fiveda especially. I was waiting for you to like them blunts. You got your O baby, we we listen, listen,

we got new mincrophones. I was gonna say, um, it's a couple of artists that j D because I'm telling me he was supposed to sigh j Z. I threw that in the end. What you what you got? But little more now? Yeah? Earlier? Yeah? Yeah, who brought him to your cruel love? Who love? Because yeah, it was cool, it's true ship. I don't but it wasn't no signing though.

It was like he brought him to me. They came, but it was never like yo, I don't know, it just ain't never seemed like at that time, I'm gonna be honest St. Louis, It's not even like back on the map. They weren't on the map at all. So it was it was a risk because I remember telling Penalty Records because he's a company with Cooler Love. Cooler Love had my my homeboy, who was my man, and now I just met him back there. But it was Pierre card so coulda Love had wronged Nelly to Penalty Records.

And I heard the ship and I was like, yo, I said, yo, listen. I didn't know how to sign anything. I was just to the side, down down baby. I think he was shopping to dinner with that. Yeah, I swear to go. I told nil Avini and I was like, yo, I said, yo, listen, that's how I knew if you if you listen to that first album, he shots me

out two times on that album. I had no him because I went to them, because that's the same time David Banner didn't David Banna was signed to the Penalty and quier let us excuse me, you're right, and they wouldn't give them money for their budget, so I said, we take to take the money out of my budget. Didn't know this guy was gonna wind up being David

Banner years later. But I told the motherfucker's but Nellie, I said, yo, look, I said, yo, look, this is different to this thing is a lot of times New York companies who couldn't think outside the box. See me, I would go to these towns. I would go to St. Louis and I would got to hang out on the worst club, the ship with we They only see you cups like this too, on the bottle and they just bring you. They don't give you the bottle, they bring

this lastic. You're like a whole lot. Then I want to a bottle like this is this that type of place like you can't have a bottle here? And I was out there St. Louis is real, like this is blooding cripin for real out here. I told the lady, I said, what so you had a chance to do it? Thirty thirty million, damn everything. You know, you gotta be on the Dream Champs to come damn one. That's the only one. But when I said, Gez about a little bit, but let me but all right, so let me ask you,

speaking of Jez, let me ask you Atlanta. You got you guys got to see the b M f Era right, like the beat that like that ship was big for us because that was like modern day Alpole mind Dave Ridge. We've never seen we've never heard of like these guys, like those type of guys in the South, Like we've heard it like that in Hall of Man, the Bronx and Queen. So the first time New York people was hearing being like what the but you you got YouTube right, you got to live. I lived in that lant at

the time. I don't think I was only to getting to the club. But I've seen it. I've seen it. I've seen I've seen it, you know, the first thing I've seen it actually come to light. That's that's crazy, that's um, that'sn'tly like the fifty cent. I hope that he really got the story the way it's supposed to be, like they should have called me. I've seen the ship from scratch like day one, like before it was even like a crew like this. I've seen. I know you know,

I meet you used to be in the club. Me, we used to be in the club, and it was just like him and like one person. Matter of fact, I had a security guard that he took from me, my man, Big Jay. He took my man, he took my security and that that was who he was rolling around Atlanta with. And then like he got this idea to just turn that ship into a game and make it bigger than what him. I'm a Philippa Rose. Even though I think you can't keep switching. Now, listen this drink.

You don't want to. You don't want to show you what pup didn't happen. We don't want to show you like Jeffrey. Yeah, he made a Jeffrey you know what that is, and he makes he makes everything everything, everything on here and put it in one cup. I ain't gonna lie. I died for twelve seconds, like twelve seconds. I was like, you just say I'm coming coming see No, you don't gonna do that. You don't gonna do that. J d oh Okay, that's that's but this is fly hot.

That's two. What's that? Like? This just that's the new Grandma, yeah instead of Grandma. Yeah, you're bringing the rose. It don't look bad though I can't even lie. It looks good. This might be something right, So new drinking letter inside ship has to your favorite ever? But what is the the most fun you had in music? Me? The eighties? Yeah, because I mean you wasn't really on in the eighties, were you? I was, I was on tour. But you know, for me, it was like it's a story that nobody else,

you know. I like being a part of stuff that that I can't share with other people, you know what I mean? Like at twelve years old, I was realized it was a role that I'm sorry, I don't know who took over me. So at twelve and twelve, I've seen ship that like niggas that's fifty ain't never even seen, you know what I mean. So so it was like that that that that era for me, just like that's what I learned. That's why I saw you know what I mean? I was, I was, um, I love my

virginity at twelve. Goddamn huh. You know, I don't think we ever talked about vorginity on drink Chap like that school about asking you talking about later on? Yeah, yea. That error just me running around and actually seeing, like you said, going to different cities and actually realizing that it's other stuff going on besides where I was at. Right, So that was just like the most fun for me.

It was just like, Um, I got a chance to actually really just like run around and see ship and be on tour with run DMC and the Fat Boys and Grandmaster Grandmaster Flash and Houdini at twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old. I don't know what's better than that. Now as a person, I could tell I know you love music just from your justtography, But what was you ever

frustrated with music? Because ever one time when you was like, man, fun this ship, Like yeah, as far as not frustrated with music, just frustrated with the fact that the way people looked at Atlanta, you know, like you said already about the Bamas, Like I was catching that. I had a group before Criss Crossed Um caused Siptom's leather. It was two girls that was on Geffen and uh they was like the girl friends of Hohodini and I and I life, real life, real life. There was the girlfriends

of Whody. Then they happened to live in Atlanta. I met them one too when I was young and like, oh, are you living in Atlanta? Yeah? Okay, well Shi, when I get back home, let's kick it. And then I

got this idea about them both. When I was putting out day records, I used to go to New York and have to give my record to like Red Alert and Chuck chill Out, And I don't think I remember Chuck chill Out saying like, man, I can't really play this country ship like something like that, And I just was like, that's that's when I really like, Oh, I'm I'm gonna make this THI he gonna he gonna change his words. But is that how you developed like being global?

Because like when when you hear a germane pre record, it's like it's for everybody. Yeah, that's what it was. I don't want I didn't. I didn't want to be stuck like that, you know, because I felt like, like I said I was, I was the one taking the hardest shot out. Cash was not when Chriss Cross came out, you know what I mean, they weren't even even they actually outcast told me they tried to sign this up

to death. That's one group that I didn't never man that you paid it a way hold on telling on you had a chance of sign I don't care, but I didn't know they said it was calling my office but I don't, you know, the one't never no meeting like that, so they didn't have a buzz, and then they I would think, because back then, that's how everybody was trying to get at, like you know, but I'm saying artists, back then you had to have like a buzz in your actual neighborhood before you even got to

any offices anywhere. So I would think outcasts had got bus and the locod I mean, I'm find out a bunch of like Florida was with us last night. Florida also told me that he came to Atlanta, came to my office and tried to get me to sign him, and I never met him at that time, so you know, so there's a lot of that going on. But anyway, like Cris Cross was the first rap group to going, like I said, from a platinum standpoint, so it wasn't

nobody else there. So we was taking all of the heat as like you know, these little young niggas country niggas from Atlanta blah blah blah blah, and we was getting that. So I was just determined to like you know, change people's mind from that from that place. Right, So after Criss Cross, you running into female from Chicago? How did how did how did you link up with the brad? How did that happen? Well? Escape came after Chris, I apologize,

Risks go to the skate. Escape came first, um and escaped. They came to my birthday. I had a birthday party and like my neighborhood, and they came and they sung Happy birthday to me. And you knew the group or somebody got Ian birt he brought him to myse and let him sing Happy Birthday to me. I ain't even had no label at this time. They came and singing, and I told him that day like, yo, when I'm gonna get it, said, I'm gonna get a label deal. When I get a labeled deal, I'm gonna sign y'all

was my first group. That's what I told him. I don't he probably don't believe me or whatever whatever, but it did happen. That's what happened. So um, So that's what you know the escape story. Like that's they sing at my birthday and they lit right now. One of them is a housewild. The one is a housewild and they they get together right now. Together is good. I think. I think I think music should be universal. I think you should be able to do music until you can't,

until you can't do until you can't. Yeah, everybody to do it. Then what what you want to do? I keeps playing this time. That's what I'm like. I told you about. Now you want listen, you can set it up. That's the one who come on when the table that right through. I'm not drinking that show co yeah j D. First, you gotta be taking what it is. It's herbs, it's no side of faith. This is in the juice balls. You know juice balls. It's JUPI on crack. You want me to take a shot of that with you too?

The same way you'll explain that we all got to drink it. It's very no. You gotta try to ship. You gotta try about now, you gotta you gotta late try to It isn't drink Rick Warsted four Rick ros did full Yeah fifty did four fifty? Did he do? He definitely did it? He did five shots, make five shots. But that it's just a shot, all right, Come on, let the shot glass gone. I can't put it in a definitely put don't even every roads ever, roads ever? Uh? I still got to kill it all right? Cool? Are

you gonna put this show? Please? Put this? Are you gonna be respectful my birthday? I still got it off my birthday a lot of two. It is sent on fire right. Look at that, yo, and let me let me tell you. Let me tell you one thing. Not not only I respect you, but the world respects. The world respects how you stand by your people like you always stand by even I want a little crazy for a week. It was maybe two maybe two weeks. Gotta be able to four months. You still sit about my legga.

That's my like. I love that. Take no pens with him? Ship did when I did the do it was don't stay on my phone, everybody, you got your all right? Now? Check how we do it, Jay, That's how we do it. It's the only thing. You shouldn't have smelled it. But this is you know, listen, this is the only how we do it. It's odd. It's come on you ready, you gotta take the glasses off. Just just what this just just a little bit, but you put it right back.

He's put it right back on. Come on, come on a bount y'all making me drink the ship see shot you, Nina, I just want you can't tell here. You go on, go on, yeah, ready for this, let's go. Let's go. You go go away about to change. You take your stress and change it. It's a little away. It's why do vegans drink? This is your story? You tell me it. Actually it's actually a good story. It's gonna be a

sex drive. It's an early like they're saying that there's people that wake up in the morning, they take a shot of that, they clean up, go to work, and they come back home and they take a shot because I get you up and then also put your ass to sleep. Look at Bousten boy, you said such job when this supposed it is supposed to be an aphobia. It's not like you walk around like the ever did you know that you be not gonna sit down. It's

not that. It's like, but if you play the game, you'll be ready because you have maybe have to play the game, you'll be ready. You go, that might need another one, no more, no more. That thought the version was real type. So let me let me let me ask you something, uh get a little real right now?

Because you did multiple records with Big was after Big Past, did it because I don't think in hip hop we would have thought that first off, that like using big lyrics that we wouldn't have thought hip hop would have made it this far, and now the hip hop has, we wouldn't have thought that hip hop would have took it there where actually you could actually die in pop? Like how how how did your life change after that? Um?

I don't. I mean I'm in it. I mean I've been in it since I was twelve, So it just feels like the dirt that I come from. Um, I've seen way more ship than just you know, the Big East. I mean, I was the craziest part of our Big Death is that I was in the truck before I had got in the truck with him. Yeah, I got in the truck because it was l A and the tension was, you know, everybody was already on like this high alert in l A. So when when we came out the party, I was coming out the party with

Big and Big like my man, like he was. He was always looking out for me. So he was like, yo, Jennie, you can't stand out here. This is l A. You can't stand outside. Yeah, he telling me this because my car wouldn't my car hadn't come up yet, so his car was there. He's like, yeah, you can't stand out. Saw you getting here with us, and and and when you know we're whatever, how are you gonna do it? So I jumped into I was basically in that truck.

My car pulled up right before they pulled off, and I got out the truck and I got in my car. They pulled off, and that's when I heard the shots. Oh you actually heard that, right? Yeah? I was right there. Who So how did you start moving? Different? Was? Yeah? I mean we had a whole bunch of that, Like we had, like tell me what Toler had got us security at the time. Yeah, it was crazy. I mean you had because you ain't really know, like you definitely realized,

um that it was real. But but like I said, me, ship that people don't notice that that beef between Puff and Shook started at my birthday party. WHOA, okay, yeah, exactly, Okay, but we gotta get straight into that. But let me ask you, are you are you ready for this? Because this is something that that that that was was crazy to me? You ready for the pup thing when we had pupforn drink chance we want to get here with

Pop said alread what he said. Okay, we already played for the stupid Okay, yeah, we're trying to be professional with Jenny. Come on, this is this hilarious. We're trying to be pession. Has your phone homes Let's look derby and you know homeboy was in the tunnel, you know, and we go and have a conversation this time where we run the tunnel. You know, I'm saying, so to make a long story short, you know, this is where the act the parties out of course, at this world

famous tunnel. And so then when I had I ran up and I asked him and he said, now, so about your main dupri And I was just like yeah. I was just like, wait, hold on, okay, now I just live to answer on the way. You just don't know what you want me to say? Party the party.

But well, I mean that's what Pop said that came into Yeah, came in the tunnel and told him he was looking for no, no, no. That when he said at the Source Awards talking about me, right, what side do you think is a little Come on, man, y'all know better than that. That's not that's not. I mean, we was there, I was I was dead by the way, Like I said, I'm I'm the guy that's been like

at the forefront of everybody movement. Me and Snoop, Me and Snoop was like this, That's how came like so me having beef with death Road never was like that wasn't even Suld was in my office coming to Atlanta, kicking it like hanging out in my office. And that's what I'm saying. And like I invited Sugar to my birthday party. Sugar came to my birthday party with just him and his one dude. I invited Puff to my birthday party. Puff came with the whole bad boy crew.

They had beef from that, from that sort of ship. But I wasn't never even thinking like it was no real being. I wouldn't even invite it. I wasn't thinking about it like that. But the whole night when the party was great, beautiful party, everybody had a good time. Then we went to this after party. We went to the after party. I guess Puff and Shugg had something kind of like saying said something to each other before whatever at my party. So they got to this after party.

Shuld came to the club and Puff went outside and they had their words in the middle of what's your street, Maurice? What street was on? Anyone open? So anyway they had they had like day little words, right, and they went outside and they went in the middle of the street. They were in the middle with the middle, the middle of the street. Puff and Shuk outside in Atlanta and at your party. Is it a calm conversation. It's not. It's not a con conversation, um, but it's it's a

very hot style conversation. And their cruise no crew, I mean, got one person. Puff got a crew, should got one dude with him, right, And all I know is Puff started drinking his champagne while they was talking, and I guess somebody must say something to him. And next day, I know, you know, Wolf rest in peace. You know, he let off a shot and let off a couple of shots and shug Man got killed right there in Atlanta. That was the beginning of that whole ship. Like, I mean,

you're starting at the source of wars. But I'm saying for like real, so so you're saying like like big and maybe Pop might have been like had not to do with this, yeah, but it affected like if it went into that, but they ain't had nothing to do with this. This was all like CEO the CEO ship and what Poppa are we talking about? Then? Did he have big at that time or not? Yeah? And then what the ship? Who who was? Should death? Yeah? I mean its like this after what I said. It was

just saying after he's saying that. After this is like, you know, after soce of Wars and I you know, I started having any birthday parts where I called people and have everybody come to my birthday. So it's like your ship because I remember he was you the Temple ship. I'm your side. You know that everybody coming. They came to Atlanta and this happened. You know, it actually happened at my at my party. Wow, Nobody don't ever talk about that. Nobody don't actually know. This is like probably

exclusive for y'all, EXCLUSI them. You want another show at nineteen, I'll just I'll just feel like and it's your birthday too. Man, It's Saturday night and I'm in Miami. I'm gonna take another show. Look what you do? Yeah? Just trust me. Yeah, I gotta go in right, I'm not to see if it's on birthday. I want to see. It's a real aprodisia. Okay, yeah, definitely. But now look now, because everything, let me tell you what,

I gotta be you up too. For one week, right, at least a leaping the way more than one week. Every way I went, people were just hating on They said, damn funk this nigga domain a pretty you bad cannon jacks and god damn, excuse me, excuse me, Let me let me be Penny be nice. Bro, you back Penny good nice. Didn't make it nice, yo, Listen to me. Listen to me. That is everybody's tilda hating on your Yeah, this was hey, j Because I'm telling you from another stick.

I would just walking like I was actually hearing Miami going into what's the club that that that on Monday night out here? King of Diamonds? No, the one that that just be going to do one? No, not alright, So Mocha was a different club. But we had pulled up to me and Jane had pulled up to Mocha. I like the way he say just makes noise, for the way he says that Penny, that's Penny. Salute you.

You're preparing for the s looking about your battle do it you all camera, y'all you didn't even have a shot. I don't come Yeah, come on, let's listen. Solo by the way, chans with this ship. Oh she made me want to go to B Street, B Street. I don't feel it. Oh, I haint a lot of CEOs that come from the show. They go in. I mean that is bad. I hadn't walk over there. I'm good that it's bad to us either. I might take it up. It's not bad. Let me tell you something I gotta do. Three.

Three's my limit. I drinking tagging bone for twenty years and I'm still not used to it. Like twenty years. We got video of US military. Listen. J D. Lemington, Nigga's never seen this coming like you. I think you created the celebrity couple. M not boy. Yeah, but that was meant to be like everybody else. Like you know, like when they see the celebrity couples, they think they think of that because he bought me and Whitney, they

were the same person in reverse. I understand, Okay, you know what I mean, due respect when I say it, but they were the same. That's why you can't. You can't well, Michael and the Pressida. That was the opposite. You can't be with a girl and you smoke, you can, You're not supposed to be with the weed smoke girl. I'm just throwing it out there because at some point you're gonna be like, yo, damn did you just can't be It just doesn't work. So I don't know. I

went a little crazy. All right, let's get back to this. So how did how did that? Even? Does that come on? Most black people who grew up in that era and seeing good time, it was even scared to even speak to Did I tell the Star a story on the on the podcast? One day, I was in the studio and they said, everybody gotta walk out the studio, right, And I was mad as fun, like what I walk about the studio? And then they said, because Janet Jackson

is about to walk through. Mind you were in the studios to clue your whisper, because that's how much I was spat Penny goddamn it, they said, Janet Jesson. I don't know. At first, I was like, why I gonna get out? And then I'm with Chris Lady and Ship you know, he's rich as ship, and they go, you gotta walk out. He said he I ain't walking out, and he said, but because Janet has to walk through. So when she walks through the studio, everybody has to walk out. So when they said it was Penny, I said,

I'm out. I'm expecting whatever. Penny wont give me that, Christie, Christie Christmas. Like I said, Chris, you gotta relax certain people. You just kind of walk out and then let Janet Jackson walk through. And that's a highlight of my life. I have never seen to error after that put you back. That was your girl. Make sure she saying that, give me a high five, nigga, do you know what good times meant to our era? Like we that was a Pamela what's it called? Um um? What's the foxy brown lady?

That was? That was like the ideal woman, like every black man wanted that, like you're fro the lood, you want to pay grid. That was the error before, but then my error came and then that Janet Jackson and you got he whispers every time he said that, you like you understand, like I'm asking some person ship, but it's respect because like as a nigga, that's a that's entertain like we didn't think people could go outside the box like we were rappers. Was just like we didn't.

We didn't see that. We didn't see that coming. Even when you said you said, you said Bobby and Whitney, Bobby was technically R and B. You represented hip hop, So just how did that happen? I wouldn't was crazy, but you know, like I mean, I don't know how to tell you. I don't know, um yeah, just playing ship. I don't know how to take I don't know what I'm I'm saying. You know, you get to talk with

people just like anybody else. Like you know, you get your shot, you shoot it right, that shot a naked commercial. I shot my shot and you know what I mean, and it works and it worked. How did how did this go down? You didn't mean that like live? Like where did you first? Honestly, yeah, we did. We met that like live. We met not like live live type.

You know. It's crazy is that I met Janet with Chris Crush and we got to go backstage and see her, and I was like, not so famous, but they was famous, so they were She's been famous, but they got all attention. So they actually was the ones that that she really wanted to meet more than anything. So um they had, but I was like the crew, I wasn't them plus j D. So I was got a chance the opportunity

to go through there. So we went backstage and they were talking to her, and all I remember saying was, y'a, I'm gonna see you again. You're gonna see me again. That's what I told him. And I was, and you saw saw God damnit back. And I read somewhere that she said, man, I missed g D or something like that. I ain't gonna go get that back, y'all, listen. I read it somewhere. I read it somewhere. This is like somewhere. It was somewhere. I said, oh, ship, I said, damn,

I wish I had. I wish I had your number at that moment. I swear to God, I would have called you with some real nigga ship, like the real nigga. Well nigga, bring back to the A man, bring him back to the A five niggas, because that's dope, like like like J and B. Like that ship just looks right. I ain't even gonna lie, this is my man. He probably don't. They probably don't give a fun. But I like seeing Nas and Nikki like it's just it's something about that that I don't like. It feels right. We're

making him. He goes out there and Gucci shoes. I'm like, go ahead, nigga. I'm not going ahead, niggah. Y'all listen. This is the first time I wanted to be a troll like I wanted to because people, oh man, he wanted to post out. I wanted to be like you fucking pitch. Let a man be happy after forty people be lonely. I'm happy. I love my wife. Right, sometimes I look at my wife. I love lo Loo. That's what people need and not see Nas. I'm like, I'm

seeing what Nikki, what call us? And for whatever you think about that, that man look happy? Man, fucking niggab who cares what anybody thinks your personal opinion on whatever. Let the niggas be happy. Let nigga try for love. God damn it, hip hop can't be in love. You're gonna relax. Everybody makes some love, make noise perfect. I got lost in my ship. Look look listening. By the way, you're gonna get fan mail all the time. We get people to send us out but Nia invited us to

his wedding. I feel like he's a fan of us. We gotta gotta we got a big already passed. Yeah, where's the camera Joe at our shows? Let me see what's because I can annoy my Wednesahza Colosso and a barta. Oh this is Spanish people. Oh that's why. Definitely the marriage of that. I don't know if we can make a guy. But let me see where's that? I don't know to see Sunday four September, we're coming. Oh, I hope, I hope. Where was it that? Let's where is that?

Because they're from Hartford, Connecticut. But this is we're gonna do for of Fifield, Massachusetts. Listen, what we're gonna do? Fans who really want us that they wear that. I don't know why this is crazy because they think we're gonna just drink with everybody. The fans really want us that they wear to send us, and what we're gonna do. We're gonna crash. I'm sucking. We'll pick a couple of

It're gonna crashing right announced. We're gonna walk in with Tiger, but I'm gonna get suited and booty I'm bringing up that's it? Which one with the pockets up here? Yeah, because you know there's much that you don't got the pockets right there? You mean, dude, are you cool with the new wive us without the pockets right there? It's kind of because I always held my weed on my cigarettes right there. You know what I'm saying. That that's

Spanish ship right there. That's Spanish it right there. You and got lost for a second. Gotta relaxed, Indian. You know that's not getting that. Go you throw the challenge that I got the TV show about you Got the Power. It's called TV show. Okay, hold on, hold on about you now you flowld on on. That's the first time I ever announced talk. You're going announced it right now. Come on, everybody hit the table movie eybody hit the table about challenge shows coming, Okay, so we'll TV It's okay,

it's called Wow Challenge. Oh you killed that. The niggas made fun of you and you made millions. I'll tell us about I just think of this thing. Is this thing is it's gonna be kind of like a combination of um. If you would have combined like a catfish and a pump together, you know what I'm saying, And it's pretty much it's pretty much we just because you've got people who who we were front on the ground

for certain reasons, you know what I'm saying. If it's you know, Mouer's dealing with brilliant situations or you know, they feel like having positive comments makes them feel some type of way. But the n of the day, it's just like be who you are, but we bust them. It's like a family member of a friend might be like, yo, man, I hope me be always on the grammy be doing where he really ain't. So we set them up. They'll

set him up. We're gonna come bust on me. And I got two cast minutes so I can't name just yet. And then we we go head and crack down on on on the case, which is you know, ho positive and that's coming top of the year. And I'm like a fake kind of a producer now, like my producer nigger in me is like you suck nigga. That's all it's coming top of here because you know what I thought, I thought the trolls you ever throught of that? Like troll like going to meet the actual trolls. Like, let's

suppose the person say something. I'm um, I think Maino and at Lovell was in the mall one time, and then if somebody said something to them and they actually turned around and they went approached them, It's like, Yo, why did you just say something of me? And I was like, damn, that actually show actually works, Like you know, I landed in Ohio and something I say, well fuck you, ohired on funk with you? And they're like you pulled right up on him and the cheeseburger babies and what

did you what did you just like? Oh? Ship? You know you you don't know this guy. This guy is he's a troll. You know. Tes not thought of that show, But yes, show that shows it's coming. And whatever they was, they was from where we actually give them a chance to like live that light for like a day, you know what I'm saying. So, yeah, you already shot something shot the absolutely wait you think you do? Come on, I think you do, baby, I think thank you should

hit the blood for the first time. You know, Jaie don't smoke, but I think because you know what I'm saying, No, we don't. We don't if you never smoked no, we don't want that. Don't I can feel like, if you're smoked on the weekend, I'll be like, all right, cool, but if you're never smoked, I don't want to do that. It's okay, I'll take another shot. We're taking a tagging. You want gonna go back to eighteen forty two trying

to serious? Don't wait, that's we had to read three years my lucky one, so this didn't been the last I got you. I'm gonna watch up right now. This is crazy. Come on, I'm gonna go out after we did okay, and you're single right now, I'm just gonna throw this out there. I just want you to be prepared full when Penny come back. We gotta you. Gotta do this to the name of hip hop and the

name of hip hop. Putting that pressure on me that a little bit, a little bit, Yeah, we gotta bring that back to the hip hop because listen to j D. This is something something that I've been I've been thinking about, and we've been speaking about on this podcast a lot. Hip hop should be its own religion, like we should. We should have our own award shows, we should have our own union, we should have our own everything. Like if a person gets sick, let's about somebody from Houdini

got sick right now? It should be a union. It just just come and just you know, provide those services, you know what I mean? Of course you with the relationships to them. But see, do you think this this union should? Is this? Yeah? I think it should. Damn I totally forgot me. We said yes, okay, no, boud what's about? No? No, no, I'm cool. This is what jurer shot? Though you want to switch? Two is my max? Three? Three is a lucky three is y'r max? No, I

keep going. You can pour some out, you can poor some out there and do something. Yeah, because you don't got a lot. Okay, that's no problem. Let me pull someone your ship to look at my shot. Cool. That's a good shot at cool. Cool? This is it? Jadn't make it to the club to not God, it's over. Goddamn all right, cool niggas it's crazy. Oh man, that's awesome. What's crazy? Listen? Yeah, what's crazy about this is that we listen. That's not good. I'm vegan. It's goes with you, yea,

that's why that's why you wanted more. I'm gonna be honest. This don't it ain't that bad. It even sounds like I called them more. It's like this. It's for men. If you don't eat me, you used to be not is it alcohol? No, it used to be No. Yeah, it's talking about fermented yes, fermented. Yeah. I mean it's starting, not thanking like it's consider wine. It's what they call it. Ain't that bad. Look at if it ain't burn no more, come still burning my throat and don't burn the more.

I'm good with. I gotta do four oh man, other four with you too. But I just read this this invitation, So let me ask you what was the wireless moment you on my ride like making music had, Like what was the craziest like you want that story? Yes I do. I kind of do. I kind of do. I kind of feel like, um, um mc, don't kill me. Um. But this is this is exclusive drink Champs exclusive exclusive.

So I want to do Always Be My Baby remix with Bratt and Escape at her house and she lived next door to Ralph Lauren and uh like upstate New York right and um she couldn't never really drive ride carry they went and she was married Tommy so he wouldn't let her drive and the security have to drive around. But she didn't like that. She wanted to get out of drive, so Bratt became her oh D like yo, let's go. So I'm downstairs making a beat in the studio. Her and Brat they don't broke out, took a car

and left. No security, don't know what's going on. Some downstairs trying to make the song, get the song right, and then our son is like along going off in the house. People running around frantic, like you know what the fun is going on? Like you go to time of my Toler house. I guess I can say this is something like people outside with their good guns. Yea. So my security come, they make us check out straps because everybody else got their strap. You don't need no

strap over here, and everybody got guns. So that's how this house was. It was like, that's what's going on. So um Tommy and everybody's looking for Mariah. She's disappeared. She's completely left the house, and I'm downstairs and and Brat's with him, so they think I know, I think I'm in on it. So I'm getting like questioned and I'm like, I don't know what the fun is going on? And they actually really questioned me, like you know what's

happening people? Yeah, everybody security And they went to McDonald's like like that. They went to McDonald's carried and Brad went to McDonald's. Okay, now I want to know who ordered. I don't know, because you had to be right, was

probably high, so she probably all the food. But anyway, I mean like, so I'm in this house getting basically question like where it's this woman at and I don't know, I don't know nothing about it, but they're not they're not believing me, right, and they the security dude is about to get fired because he allowed her to she snuck out. It was just like some real crazy ship. Yeah yeah, Tommy's gonna kill him. Yeah, He's like, you're about to die because you let her get out of

this house without you know what I mean? Like that was crazy to me because I'm I'm fresh, like just from Atlanta. I'm like, what's going on and I'm way out in this house that's way out of state New York. And it's like that was crazy ship right there. Like just to see a star that level, you know, actually want to do something that's different in their life. And she did it, and it was like to see people panicking and Nigga's almost like beating me up as well.

It's it's crazy. What's what's the funnest session You've ever had? The best studio session? Like that? One time? It was just perfect. You walked in to beat. The sample was on point, everything like um, me and Nelly, um um grills. I can't hear you. I can't hear you. Come on, come on, come over here, come over here, sing sing it, sing it, Sing it, nigger, we can't hear your Paul, we can't hear you. What does he say? All? That

was almost good? That yeah, okay, so so so basically this session was was me and Nellie had an idea and he was gonna take the the the LLL cool J Candy ship like candy the bottom then in infinitive man then then and now he took the flow from from Candy right. Um, that was the flow he wanted to put on this. That was his ideal yard. Now that's just an idea you want to take, you know,

because Nellie was you know, buff. So it's kind of like a St. Louis version of LLL cool j you know what I mean, Like I went so so it came up with the you know, let me see a Grill. And then we was like with ship, if you do a song about grills, we gotta get Paul Walkers Paul making. So we got Yo, we gotta get Paul Walla a song. Now, I don't know why this song had to happen this night. Now you can make a record like a week, but we just got Nelly wanted this song to happen right

soon as we started making an idea. So we made the idea and then we went to the one twelve One World, one twelve where the players the work. Yeah that we went to one twelve and we got drunk. I'm telling about completely, like drunk as a scumps. We got sucked up, right, So we was sucked up. But in the midst of that, on the way to the club, Nelly's like, Yo, I'm gonna call Paul wall and tell him I'm gonna send him a flight. He's gonna come to the studio while we at the club. This actually happened.

Car wal got on the plane, came to the studio, got to the studio, he heard the song. We was at the club put the net least, thinking like, yeah, when I get through, we're gonna get back to the studio and Paul wall Park gonna be done. So we leave one til we get back to the studio. Paul Wall is there, he got he got his part, and the studio is popping right. Like I said before, I don't really have like a whole bunch of people in my session, but this was like Nellie session is weird.

It's all kind of ship going. Didn't sign him felt bad anyway. So so and this is the first night I tried lean let's go, let's just take it there. I got a story too. Fun me up. It's the first night. So so Paul wall gotta he pulling up right, and I'm like, man, let me try that. Ship say like j D, you don't want you don't want to get on this leg. I'm like, man, what movie is that? Wry like you don't want to try this. I'm like, man, let me get on this. I want to see what

it did. So he got this this like t He's a treaty. That's what they drink like, He's a treaty. They part of ship with this. He's a treaty some some ship. I'm like, okay, so I'm thinking this just ship looked like like like some kool aid. I got on that ship and I'm like, man, this ship ain't nothing. I'm drinking poopoo, turning up, give me some up boom, like this ain't nothing. I don't know. I was going in.

I was. I was. I was really like mad because I'm like, wait a minute, y'all never said this ship was something. I don't think. I'm about to start talking slow and kind of ship. I don't know what's going on. But none of that ship happened to me. So I'm like, I'm good, but I was not good. I was the whole another. I was dancing shirt off like like like that's like you ju Wally and I had I had a fight. I had a flight that at six am that morning, not happening. But I was up and I

was drinking lead. They were smoking way so if I was getting contact and all kind of ship, but I was going it was. The music was right Paula versus Fresh, something about grills. I was like, this ship, this ship is gonna be a hit. I knew that song was gonna be a hit. I got on that plane. Man, I threw up in the first class. Oh man, I never, I ain't gonna lie. I want to picture thrown up your first class? Okay, which way did you move? Because you had a window? Seater had a window. So I

had to I had to let the lady. I had to let the person know that was sitting with me, like, yo, I don't feel right. Ain't this ain't gonna be good? So I was like, I'll be back. Got a little they got a little back, a little thing when you posted do it in and I'm like, this ain't. I ain't I got. I feel like it's gonna be way too much. This ain't. I ended up doing up a lady on his maid. I was fucked up. Yeah, that was my experience with lean. I'm not working with that.

That shared me twisted. I say that shaw me twist that class. No, I never do it. I'm mad because you know, you know what, I hate answering. The whole question is at first class, like, so what do you do? I mean so tempted to be like myself, crack I do I do? I do it all the time. This depends on what happens. You're one time to dude says to me, my man, you know everybody's recognizing you. What do you do? I was like, you shoot that ship in the back of the housphone. I told them missed

the camera. I wanted to be smoking. I'm saying the camera. I had to tell because I don't want to say on my wrappers. Sometimes it's embarrassing to me. I know what you mean. You know what I'm saying because I say in the right situation. I don't like embarrassing because like the typical black people, I'm good. Let see, you must have been, you know, flying to privats and all that all the time, like I'll be with the regular rich white folks that just ship. Then be like, so

what do you do by producing sousel crack? I don't should go to that time. I've been going on it off because sometimes maybe it's cooling the niggers coming thinking yeah, I told him because it's just I don't want to say rapper, like I don't want to say media. And the thing about it is I can get away with anything I say as long with somebody don't walk through this be like, yo, what else side? I just told this. The guy advented the microphone yeah, I understand. When I'm

walking through customs or something like that. When I'm always see this ship, they say, what do you do? I'm not acting straight up, don't say rapping him pot through rapp yo, Yo, listen, happer weed what else? He front man pulled them on. Yo. At one point, I'm gonna be honest, I've been down my first I was ninety seven. So the ninety seven to like so funny. No, no, no, that that's just my first solo. I was a ninety eight then released. Okay, so first release just component over,

he said. So from I remember, it was one point you could say I'm a rapper and the police would be like, yo, yo, get this nigga escort. Then you see you're wrapper what they pull out? Oh my god, oh ship Yo. I seen the error shift. So like when I could sit down, the person asked me what I do. I just be cautious, something like I don't know if he's a Trump supporter. I don't know where this is going. I had that. I had that one time,

but I hadn't fixed that. Okay, I fixed it. You know, like the you know, the magazine is on the airplane. The depends on did you shot from because they get me all the time that I got to fast somebody like every I got the cover of that magazine, So walk up the ship. I was on the plane and I had a cover of this ship, and niggas knew what the funk I was doing there at that point, Like it was like I had that speculation. Why don't

you talk about the speculation? But I was on the cover of every seat, so everybody knew who you are, and you sat there was a good moment. That's a good moment. That's a good moment to take something. J D. Let me tell you something in case you don't know, man, we've seen what you did. We've seen you sit here and take an arrow of music and take an artist like about while like a the brat, like a crisscross, like a jacket edge, like an escape, and we seen

you tell them how to make hit music. And that was the beautiful part of it. A lot of people appear you and puff together like you're the puff of the South or whatever, but it is it is you kind of like each other. But you did your own market music. You set it off, You did what you had to do, and we want to salute that you understand we want to sit back. I'm clapping up for that. And don't you ever do an interview with any podcast. I don't say your top three because to me this

this is the top three producer. This is to me, it's it's puff Drey in Jermaine. That's the top three to me. Then after that generation becomes for real Timberland's the Swiss and beats. This is for me and because we Gotta we Gotta. That's a little bit before dre and but that and you know what, fuck hip hop.

We don't have to like sometimes sometimes I'm not saying that, I say I don't know like funk that that category because when a person about you know, you know, you know I'm going in I want to But when I say listen, listen, I want to make a point, I want to make a point. I'm gonna make a point. Oh it's still called veggie like we veggither like Christ is in the building. But let that we didn't drink

that whole bottles, but we got another one. Listen. What I'm saying is to see when you say when you say, when you say you give a person the title go which goat means greatest of all time. This should be day. There's a lot of people that could be the greatest of all times. They can't just be one. In boxing, you say the greatest of all times. Mike Tyson might be the greatest of all times for the nineties era.

Muhammad Ali might be the greatest of all times. From the eighties era Pakia might be the greatest of all times. From the two thousand and such and such era. Madewell, it's the greatest of all times because that's who the fun my favorite box right. But so why in hip hop we can't have multiple greatest of all the time. I mean, actually you actually can, but it's no we do. And I'm going to change that single handedly. And there's a lot of people that's the greatest at all times

of their era, and I want to salute that. It's just like Big Daddy came. Come on, Haitian people, you gotta help us. It's my my friends, the Haitian people that got they finally happy. Theess Tis didn't come. We went to another place. But listen, what I'm saying is we we have we have to keep. That's the thing I respect about you, like I've never really heard you go at somebody else? Did you ever do with this record? Yeah?

I did. Dr Dre Dyah, I got at me him and Eminem and they had did like a little song something about what little song is that? Some song where it was this and me, I don't know, but but but but you know, like it's this sensitive hip hop niggas that, like I say, some real ship and niggas get sensitive and want to be defensive, right, because what I had said was that if you put Dr Dre in the room and you put me in a room, who's gonna come out with a song first? Dagn't like that.

But the truth of the matter is, I'm gonna come out with the song before he does. I don't need no niggas to write nothing for me. I make the beats and I'm gonna write the lyrics and I'm gonna do the whole song. I'm gonna come out with the song first. Like that was my tip. If you want to challenge me, anybody want to do that, that's that's what you statement. And like at that particularly, that's why they didn't like that statement, you know what I mean?

They thought I was trying to shine them. I wasn't really trying to shine them, just like I have to let people know it's a difference between how I make records and other people make records. Like even when people say about me and Puff, me and Puff do have a very similar stylus far like marketing our artists and being labels that move in the same type of motion. But when it comes to making records, Puff don't make records like me. Nobody don't make records like I mean,

it's people that make records like me. But I'm just saying it's a different it's a different situation, and I wasn't like even like I'm saying that about Puff, I'm not dissing Puff. I'm saying, like we just I make records differently. I can write a whole song criss Cross that eight million, I wrote the entire album. You wrote all their lyrics, every every line. Wow, that eightmen, God, Damn I let the count nobody money. But I'm just thinking about it. I'm like, damn eightmen in the nineties

is the eighties or nineties? Nineties? She got it without you know, like thousand dollars in the eighties meant different inflation. I no like drug dealard money. Yes, this is this. Yeah, I mean hip hop, that's what we should celebrate. We should celebrate that. Listen, man um, there's a lot of brothers out there doing the wrong thing, doing doing a thing to feed their family, and we can't judge that.

That's not that's not what we're here to do. But Leo Colon said this on the podcast, and he came and he said, this is the perfect time to get into the music business. And the reason why he's saying that now is remember back then, we had to press the c D, We had to do the artwork. You had to do them cut the middle of the photo

shoot like right now, like that serious. Any kid could go on the back of his room, pick up a fucking footy loops anything time I had which and then just and make a whole career like back then, like you had to be ill to get out in the eighties you said your favorite everyone was the eighties. You had to beat just to get in the studio was difficult. Just yeah, they probably even take your account. And then

back then they had the eight inch rails. That's like carrying the doorf Like like I got a human here and you cut this take from me and then you remember back then. I'm sorry, I'm showing my age a little about forty years old. But you couldn't punch in you remember that that eram where you had to do your whole verse mission, you know, like I was part of the punching. You can punch punch it. It wasn't it, Yo Ano sex Unique studios they hand punching you had

to take. Yeah, yeah, Unique Studios. But you're across the street from MTV. It goes you like yo, you're fucking and you gotta you gotta yo so yo. That's why I do you notice like has keep it real? My minimum is seven songs a night, like when I like, when I'm focused, I go to the studio, I do seven songs like this four hours. My young boys be sitting there still right. I'm like, I wrote my whole ship before I came, because that ship was crazy, like

coming from where they come from. Playing session was serious. Like nobody they don't know nothing about that. They just make the records in their bedrooms and they only laptous. It ain't paying that bread Like me, I was trying to get out of the hood. So I like, I'm not like, I can't I can't live the way like I'm still to this day if I book a studio like my pay for somebody else ship, like I have the song written, I have five songs written. That's how

you should have it. You should be going to the studio already. Don't play in the studio. It's not a spot to play. It's not stopping playing. And you still love the studio after all these year Keep it real, you ain't lose a little bit of love for music at some point. Come on, tell us that story. Dad, you got pissed off one day. Why I don't know. I don't know. You just said he never said not because I got I got goals, like I got these

goals that I ain't never really achieved yet. So I still like, you know, come on, I'm still like I think you achieved everyone. What does it take for you to be like you still haven't achieved? What goals have you not achieved yet? I mean like, like, so, so when I first started working with I shouldn't we did My Way album, and we did when we got to con uestion, this is my confessions. This is so listen. When we got we got the Confessions, we had this

conversation about like we gotta sell ten million records. That's the type of talk you. Yeah, that's very scared to talk to you understand, because we know like you don't you don't mean nothing if you don't do nothing like that. Right, as far as where I'm coming from, people look at me like, you know, I had success at the success that nick still look at me the same way. So

you gotta do something just like fact flips. Right. So we was at the studio like, and we gotta sell ten millions album, gotta go diamond, and and and and it did. It went diamond. So the last it's the last black artist to sell tim million to till me a record, clap your hold on you plotted this before it half all right, let's take it back to the but but but but like that is still like small compared to what we was actually trying to do. Like

we just looking at Quincy Jones. Quincy Jones is like the master to me is my idol, right and the hip hop m Jones in case you didn't know that you are the hip hop Quincy Jones. Appreciate that you Yeah, you know, it's a really compliment. I mean. But but at the same time, saying that I can't really take that yet because he did way more than me. He still got way more under his belt than I have

a chief And at fifty Quincy Jones made Thriller. At fifty years old, that's when he created an album which became the biggest selling album in the history of music. At fifty, I just turned forty. So you give me hope. Yeah, let's go. So with that being said, you asked me what what my like? I'm still looking at that like, Yo, okay, I'm not I'm not fifties. If he did it, I got opportunity to do something bigger than that. I gotta try it. So I'm just that's my goals, just to

try to like some some artists. I don't know if it's gonna be us. I don't know it's gonna be, but somebody we're gonna do something that's gonna be crazy. Now, I like, I liked it the way, but I just going through this. You know what was that controversy and the first person you see, I should taking a picture of what is you? You still hold on? We got new shots about to say, I felt like apolate in me. I love the way you stood right there by your

boys side. You didn't give a funk about no controversy, none of that. Like I actually enjoy that type of loyalty. Like why isn't that that type of loyalty respected more in the industry that because they ain't really nobody to really do it? Like no, I mean, like niggas act like they're your homies, didn't really you know, Like I know, like all my artists, they came to me at the time when they ain't really had no other friends period, you know what I'm saying, Like she was at my house,

we made my way. It was just him. He come to the studio by himself, no friends, no assistant, no nothing. So I actually became like a real true friend in him, not like just to producer. I'm doing everything from him, like you know, I mean, I'm hooking on girls, I'm doing everything. So if that's our relationship, you know what I'm saying, I don't. I'm still I gotta be the person to tell him like this is bullshit. You know, this is bullshit, Like let's go through it, you know

what I mean. Other people are gonna talk to them differently. I'm gonna talk to them the way that that's supposed to we talked to. So, I mean, I don't I don't know if it's a lot of that in the world. You know, niggas called niggas when they need something, they don't really actually be fucking niggas when they ain't got you know, when they're in a different place. God damn, that makes the noise so so so now we've got you both here, like, um, you know there's been moments

where in the hip hop you guys didn't agree. How did you and and you you came back and you said, you know that's my big homie, you know what I'm saying, But like, how did that just feel? Like when you know a person you're coming into the game with, you're just not seeing out of eye and it's different opinions. But the thing is, every time you voice your opinion, it's in the public eye, whether you think it is or not, whether you think it is or not. Like,

how how is that to go through that? I'm gonna him answer, I'm gonna drop my shot. Okay, this is this episode fo good? Yeah? No, I mean pretty much, you know it was we were like the same person said yeah that that shot made that But it's just it's just it's the same person. You know what I'm saying. He pretty much raised me, so it's kind of like, you know, all the game and all the lessons I

learned from him. At one point, I felt like, like Ship, you know, I wanted to start calling some shots and putting my ideas into things, and sometimes we want to see out the art because he was the coach. He was to you know, he was the teacher. You know, I wanted that I was shying the master. I thought, you know, I wanted to playing my way so that it's it's at some point, I'm I'm standing up for you.

Every artist at some point start feeling that. So and you know what they do, They say I did this Ship, and they forget about everybody else because in order to make somebody great, it's three or four people behind absolutely but me, I've done it. Everybody does it, everybody just what I did. So you had that moment, Yeah, I had that moment. Did the third album? I had that moment. You did this thing, but it just didn't feel right,

you know what I mean. I was in the studio with Tipped, Me and t I was working on my third album together and it just was different, you know what I'm saying. And I came to the conclusion like if I can't get down what he wanted on the Forefarm, then I'm cool long music, I got movies. I could do that ship for life, so I don't really got to do it no moment. And I remember just going to Malibu and pulling up on j D and just

telling him like, look for all the business. Ship still looking for And then I just told him, like all the business, just kick all that ship to the side. We gotta get back. When I got back Platinum, the next album Platinum, and we wrote it were right back in pocket. Then I had to listen to them was records. I ain't want I'm like, I don't wanna do that ship on and I just buckled down and did them.

They came number one hand. So sometimes you just gotta you do, gotta listen because he's been doing this ship way moment and not have so you want some now, I don't know you can take that with you to go play. No, I'm just checking it out, Okay, you know we put that, we're gonna package that up. Yeah, definitely you can take that with you out because because that's some real I don't know to call it, you know, yeah,

because it's it's kind of crazy. I mean you might, but this is this is this some premium ship though y'all need to keep this head nor birth. We're good. We're gonna have a bottle for you anytime you come back, because I just want both of y'all to know that, um, this is this is a big platform. What I mean by that, I'm not trying to tell you know, but what it means to hip hop is when they when they told us how numbers because a fun but when they told us and they told us how demographics for

sixteen to twenty four? If me up? Because we we didn't have like people on on here on the Dirty like we praise legends, we say, you gotta be a hip hop legend. But for this to be working, this show, it means that even though people don't give a funk whatever is the hit right now, people want to learn what happened in the hip hop Oh yeah, I mean that. But that's but that's that's you know, like that's what

I said. That's what That's why I picked that era because it's like the stories today in hip hop, they don't mean nothing like the stories that you know what I'm saying, Like the story like it's just ship that you actually live in life, you know what I mean, and make these records just like you know how made money. Anything. Was like I was driving down the street and I and I heard jay Z, please let me stop if we're here, that's my very next question this niggers. God,

go ahead, y'all this nigga cool. I just taped in my cold and my phoners. I'm like, yo, next question and you went there, let me shut the funk up. So I'm I'm driving. I'm driving. First of all, I got.

I got like Atlanta. Atlanta was like um a city that nobody knew what was going on in Atlanta, right, but everybody was paying attention to New York in l A. But it was like this this this um this article that came out one day one morning I read and it was like Puff did an article and they was interviewing him, and it was like, yo, we went to interview Puff and he's driving around you know, Manhattan in the Bentley you know, and he could had back was

due they you know, they explained like the black man that really ain't supposed to be into Bentley driving around bent and they was actually describing his life, and it really frustrated me because it was like the morning that I was going to pick up jay Z from the airport, I was in a Bentley Continental team driving around Atlanta with a do rag on. It had the same ship, but nobody would see it. Nobody wants seeing what I

was doing. So I was I was like, I gotta make my records, gotta be big, my rexors gotta be bigger so negs can see what's going on. And on the way to that's so, by the way, this song this, I had no idea what the song was gonna be. I just want to make money. Yeah, I just want to make a record with jay Z. So I'm driving and I'm listening can't Knock the Hustle, And he said deep South, deep in the South, kicking up top game, screaming through the some money anything. And I'm like, deep

in the South. That sounds like me. That sounds like he's talking about. But what song he said that? Different song? You know, he says that in the hustle. He says this and can't knock the Hustle. So I'm listening to Knock the Hustle and I'm like, he said this, that's what I saw. I'm gonna be called. I want to kick him up from the airport. And when he got in the car, so literally when you were picking him up, you heard I was talking, this is coming, like going

to the airport. So I get to the airport, pick him up. He getting my car and UM, I tell him right then and there, I'm like, yo, the song is gonna be caught, money anything. And I heard I said, I want to use this part from Can't Knock the Hustle deep in the South, kicking up top Game, screaming through the sun Route, money and anything. And he was like, Okay, you gotta beat. But I had made a beat before. I had made the beat before I left. Oh, it's

I made it beat. I made the beat before I went to the to the airport, so I had the Steve Aarranteam weakened my knees. I I had to be looped up already, and I was like, we're gonna wrap over this ship. And the only reason I had picked that beat is because if he did this freestyle on the Clue mixtape where he took. He took the Drew Hill beat that I used for the Sleeping in My Best Ship sleeping he and he was like, um, he's like, y'all want to He took my whole intro, y'all want

to dance, I'm gonna make it. He but he changed it, and I was like, Danny Snika jay Z be listening to me. That's why I felt like because he was like the real super super backpack rapper, people gave him all kind of respect. I would never thought he was really checking out what I was doing. And I heard that he took my whole part, so I was like, oh, this sniker really be listening to me. He took my ship.

So then I just put this whole thing together in like twenty minutes of how he was gonna make this record. And when he got in the car, I said, you know this's gonna be the song. He was like, what the beat sounds like? I said, we get to my mom house, We're gonna gonna listen to the beat. We got to my mother house. I had played the beat for him, and the beat went around for like ten balls, sixteen maybe maybe balls, and then niggas I got my rap let's go. And I was like, what, how the fun?

Where this the biggie ship? I'm like, what the fun? When did you write your rap? And like I just wrote it, let's go, let's get in the studio. I'm like, I gotta learn that trick. I gotta learn to do that tomorrow. Like, and that was the last day I stopped. I stopped writing on people. I've never written anything since then. What year let's j B. Yeah, but you're definitely like you had straight a's in class only really could do it good? You had straight It wasn't not. I never

finished high school, did you ever? Specially education? Special education? Second shorts? I have seven students and three teachers. Really stupid. Really was real for me. She was real for me growing up. Really Yeah, I listen, I can ride it round on my head, but that's not gonna take but listen. Okay, so listen, I'm gonna tell you, like my my Criss Crush theory of how I made Criss Crush into rappers. I got in the car one day and these niggers was like infatuated with ice Q at eleven and twelter.

It was infatuated ice Q and they knew every ice C word lyrics, all word for word, and I'm riding in a car like, yeah, these niggas saying this recited. They were reciting the raps like they know. So I'm like, ship if I write them a song that they like they were recited, they were recited the same way. That's that's that's basically how they became rappers. It's not the cold version that I prefer, but I'd keep going no, no, because you see you see what how heat pop? You

got the big bottle right there? You know that? You see did you see how heat popped? You're gonna do it different that that big bottle pop right now. It's gonna look, we can't even pay for this rent. By the way, it's gonna throw this out there. We're in Windwood. I don't know if you guys started, what do you start? We started from downtown Miami with this podcast, Yeah and yeah, downtown, and then we went to a little Haiti we was living. He was came to the spot we came to. They

came to the dad. We have dad. He said, there, everybody shout sexy Windwood. This used to be the one perto Rican Hud. This is the Puerto Rican Hunt. Yeah, this is used to be the part of but but this is nice right now. You know what, it's the cuivalent just like the village like in New York. In New York, it's like the villains. Like you walk around, you can see bos oh, you can see you can see Tommy Motto right there giving somebody a flower. I

don't don't get it twisted. Keep walking two blocks down, yeah, two blocks down right here. But but this is like, this is like the happening hood in Miami. Talk about it. What you were saying, is the happening hood talking about it. I'm not gonna lie. Our coolert system sucks, but we're cooler. Yeah, we need we need to frigerator. At the end of the day, we gotta get a subsi walking walking, freezing champage.

Because you don't listen. I knew he was gonna order some champagne, you did, I knew it, Like well, he ordered both of these joints, that and that. Now when he ordered the ascid, this nigga, he is smooth because I only know a rich motherfucker who ordered that. Like, you gotta be rich to just say I want to what is that nine two don't saying just two like when you order that, like I only seen only in my life, Like I'm forty years old again, i'mna keep

throwing out there September six, turn forty. When the older that, I'm like, damn, they they like a different calibern like you know what the funny ship is? I'll do. You probably don't even remember this. We have read on the Vada. One day, I land, I'm pissed because I had a six hour lay over somewhere. We don't know what about. It's the Impact convention you walk through. You said, your playboy, it's super Thug. My super Thug had just came out. He said, I'm gonna remix your ship. I'm like where,

I don't even know what that meant. I was so good. I was like where, like a right, Like I didn't even know what a remix cubment back there, So I was like, all right, cool, And I said, yo, what you're drinking? And and you said don Perion And I had the motherfucker President of Penalty say I was because I don't know what the fun I didn't know what don very it was the we know the impact of do you remember that? I don't remember talking to you. But yeah, I ain't gonna lie. And you know what

you did listening to yourself. You also remix Super Doug nil Alvin just gave this thing about vocals back then. I just give like giving them this I never came out because somebody has it. No, he got it somewhere, he got it. He got it because you know, I never wanted to remix superd Thug got to take. But we met your at the impact of Mention and Reno Nevada. This is before because this is by the way, Super Thug didn't need no remix, but no remix the white people.

I'm being honest. I'm sorry white people. I like up this. This ain't nothing back to y'all. But the white people can said you need to This is that time. This is what I'm telling him. Tell you this that time Nika said, if you don't have with your main defree reason you're over. Okay, look I probably Jade, let me show. You'll let me share. This is class. This is a little class class. We need a different cups out. No,

not even it's not fair new cup. This is you know I couldn't it just went to France at once, so we learned some ship and we brought it back to America. Listen, look look at that, Jake, Look at that Jad. What you gotta do like this? No? You that was your fall, Okay, I want to let you sew it up. Lets you shut up? Boom bloom. Look how we do it boom and then Wes there's no spell. Look at that, and then we do it. This is they let a hood nigga France at once, let me

the friends. No, I can still go out there. I'm saying, you know, my wife love France. God damn it, Yo, Holy moly, guacamole. Oh it's my time. I gotta you really went in on the tag of bomb prospective. Are we're gonna do a dog? No? We done. You're gonna take that to go, Take that to go. That's my nig I'm gonna see if this Tiger bomb ship work tonight. Yeah. Yeah, that's all you, my brother. This is what we do. I don't know if listen, I don't know if you

know what we do at drink Chaps. The thing is I sat down one of the one of the greatest compliments in the world I have a guy was one day Leo Combs. He tells me to me, said me, you know how Leoco talks right me to be out polo lounge right and bad with the hills like I always drove by this ship because I'm a hood nigger. Like people don't invite me the ship like that, you know. And I've been good with that for twenty years. And I've been like, I understand, but you ain't gonna you

ain't gonna invite me. There, I get it. I get it because I come with niggas like y'all. He come with limit again. I come on the things that got knaves. They don't even getting plays as soon as they want to think of the knife and the next day that's just just what I am. But I want to give people jobs like so it all comes and he says, he comes to me and they're like dam He said, you know what I drink Chance works And I said no,

because I don't. I'm just giving myself, giving my old, just respecting the hip hop, and I'm congratulating the parts of hip hop I love. And Leo said, because you guys don't do gossip. You guys just celebrate the hip hop the way it is. And it's like as complic hated as that was. It's very simple. If you're a person that's been down in the hip hop no how tough this is, to survive more than a year. How many people you know was the hottest dude in the

world last year? You've seen Tim He might have gave your elbow like it. What's something? My god? How you doing work? Y'all? God, that's where you did? You are so to survive anywhere more than three, four or five, six, seven years? And I'm talking if you took about double digits, every man who participated in this game should be saluted. Look at football, football, you got like what a year two year expansion? Basketball? Or maybe fine hip hop or music. See,

they limit you. You could go to funk out of here. So when you have people that are standing there, it's been down there. There's a drink chance, don't realize it's there's nothing organized, but we're very organized. Why should we throw this out? And we got you? But you know, when you see people that got double digits in this world, there's no other way that we have to do with

salute these people. You gotta sit back and say and now I now yo you d J and again because I heard you started out as a DJ, so you'll be oh, yeah, d J. Yeah, let's describe that. Let's describe it. I mean, um, yeah, I started as a d J. I mean I started making my beach based on DJ and it was like that's what I wanted

to be before I became a producer a DJ. So I got these little realistic fake twelve hundreds from Radio Shock, and I was Radio Shock, bigger Radio Radio Shock for radio had all the ship that first shows came Radio so signed like the bell drive turntables from Radio Shock. But but I told my mother my father I wanted turn tables. That's what they bought me. They got the Radio Shock ship and from there I became a DJ.

I just started making like mix tapes, saying doing whatever I had to do, just before I with May Records. So I've been DJ and like since I was fourteen. Now, when you go to a new crowd, there's people are your d jan this might be out. I'm gonna go off there and say it might be a white guy who don't know who you are, and they're coming to you and say, play some fucking Kelly busy name Kelly Price, What what's the bus name? This goes to the MTV Award.

Come not Cardy B. But what's what's your name, Katy Perry said Kelly, He said Kelly and p's Katy Perry? Like, what are you doing that moments? You don't do requests? Yeah, no, real DJ does request that's not that's not that's not your mother, right. We do what we do and that's it. I'm not doing the request. I don't do question and I don't you know. I mean, for the most part, I don't really be playing all the type of records like I played what I listen to, Yeah, you churned

up this guy might they just ordered seven. I don't care. This is DJ DJ do it said, it's like a song for you years. Let me ever say this. I'm gonna say this about as far as me DJ, and I'm not like i'll DJ like a mix tape. So once I start DJ and as far as tempo and vie, I don't. I don't like people to come tell me, oh, somebody just bought bottles. We need to change it and play the champions here like in the midst of my mix, like you that ship is whack by the way. By

the way, they don't understand how whack that is. That's so whacky because you you were destroying the momentum of the club. Break that down. I'm just saying, I don't know. I mean thinking about it. Where if someone want to go on stage when you're doing the show and stop you and say no, I want you to play this, that's motherfucker. I got my set to me doing what

I do. I'm just saying to me, that's whack because the club, the club is already funked up from Instagram ram and people trying to just like take pictures and not pay attention to the party and in the first place, so once you get the club, everybody dancing and doing they gotta do, and people having a good time, and then the mothercker club, I don't want to say, yo, we want to. He's created in my drink man saying

that's what I'm saying. So come in there, you say that, yo, you want to you want to change the momentum of the club. I'm looking at the people like I'm not like I watched I watched so many DJs dj these house DJs and these these e d M d j's. They don't even pay no attention to the crowd. They just been playing music. They don't give a fuck, you know, like not like that. I'm I'm looking at the crowd like, damn, I just played this record and ain't nobody really moving.

I gotta get you another song really fast and fine, and the energy dictates how you're gonna move. Yeah, Yeah, I don't. I don't like I don't like you. I don't like you coming in the club telling me I don't if that person buying drinks keep buying drinks, y'all let light it up. Do what y'all doing. I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing. You gotta keep the party going so you can tell us a spiritus like one time.

They don't do it all the time. They try to do it all the time, and I just be like this in a corny record, like or is it just because you had your set together? I mean, I just yeah, a lot of times I'm just like, I'm not doing it, you know what I mean? If they want to, they let's just tell people. Don't go up to the motherfucker. DJA want to shout somebody out? And I'm like, y'all want to sample right because I never met this nigger in my life right well, in my mind, the nigga

is my homie. It was Mom, Okay, Prince coming to the club. Just float by you. Float He's not gonna play Prince. I'll be like, Prince, get on the microphone, shout me help, well right to play it from you right now, this time, the Prince, just float by you. He gotta get on. Don't say nothing still, I don't care. It's still dangerous in my set. I don't care. I'm saying, I don't care who you is, just like yeah, d J j D. You come in the club. It's all about the vibe of the club. Like if I play

a Prince record right now, niggas is trapped out. You fucked up the whole club, the Prince, the prior you just so he's flow through. You got to play Purple Night in the club. You like that. I'm telling you. Listen to hit everybody in a certain part of their bones that we didn't understand because we were sucked up from Mike already. Like Mike already came in, So the Jackson five funked up something like damn niggas is like, oh ship, this is real. ABC. ABC is to the

Jackson five reals like you like it? No, I don't like it? All right? Cool? Let me see what what is that? That's that's that creates a little bit you know, which one is it? I don't know. Definitely they get me every time I go to what is it? Blooming down? They get me and my watch the ship. They got us both lined up every time we walk through. They're like, yeah, this is the one. I don't know when. Yeah, that's cooled, that's crazy. Yeah that's that's that's that real c black.

But I you know, you you know to the Golden Baby, it's imperial. It's called right imperial, alright, cool? And then the adventis eventus. I don't funked up. I'm just spraying niggatance anywhere. I'm in New York City the other day spraying dogs those advance that I've wasted that bottle. I'm a lie man. It smells like listen, let me just say something j D and Balo off for y'all. In life, everybody needs a little bit of therapy, all right, be a little time to get your problems off, talk about

whatever whatever in life. That's what I did. I said, I'm gonna take my days off, and I'm gonna praise hip hop. I'm gonna praise my legends in hip hop, praise people who contributed to the hip hop. And that's what why I drink Champs. It's working because this is our form of therapy. And we have not formed our show and like a month, so y'all hurricanes and shows. I don't episode. I want the record here, okay, I wanted nig niggas gotta break my record. So hem you're talking to me seven right, that's what it is. Oh yes, Tavin says

terrible want. Yeah, all right, what's got me? We're going on? Yeah, ship clean save just let's make let's make sure right nod, I hold the record, alright, j D. Let me just let me just explain to you something. You see my two guys right there, those are both twins. That's my twin right there. He had just had a recent accident and and you know, crashing to me, Bro crashed and you know, now he's disabled. It's okay, but we're gonna rob with him every step of the way. And then

the other twin right there, he's on mass steroids. He's my this is big, This is big. This is the hundred episode though, Yo, I could have died on episode for the eight now, I ain't gonna It's the fact throw Danny Garcia's episodes, the last episode before my accident though.

And it's crazy how he recognizes that because I need He shows in my love on Instagram and shout out to all the fans in Pakistan and Thailand when they got talking about fucking everywhere, Yo, all over the board, the Netherlands, we got people everywhere, We got legends, we got by waway here in my nigga. You sleep y'all sleeping on by. He is a legend. You're right now. We were to read the pre legends. You mentioned them names people nowhere. But we're living, we're taking shots. I

just took my hund shows to tackle baby. Just get it in a seven. Ye needed the other twin. So that is the other twin that I hang out with him and he wanted to drink tyger bone and what happened? Come on, I work out seven days a week, six seven meals a day, so I'm not STOs. Four years ago, Tiger sent me to the hospital with seven shots. Saving to the hospital, Vegan. The light was I had to do something with you trying to commit suicycle? What the fun at the hospital because I went to the high

because for some reason to meet this. I'll tell you cream then I'm gonna tell you where is your problems? You can't eat poor leging? Same day you're god, you gotta right. I'll take your shot today. That what's up? Let's taken today? Mom saying he taking gotta catch you. You gotta catch you. You know you do another way just say we take a shut up. I was listen, I was watching blow last night. Oh, by the way, if I wasn't making music, I'd be a drug dealer

flat out. I think, huh, I think everybody here would be. I mean, but I would be a real smart drug dealer. Yeah, we can tell we might be dumb drug dealers, but we'll be talking. But yeah, Like I actually hate the movie Blow because they treat my nigga. But but but I funk with it because you know, that's one of the dopest movies. But you know in the Nigger, they come back from Colombia and then they got the cocaine on the table and the dude telling him like, like

what the raided the cocaine is? He like, usually if it's like one point, you know, one seventy five the purity right, and the ship go five and then they like, yo, god damn, where the fun y'all get this? Can I can? I can? I do a lot of this ship? And then they hit the ship and they're like they're talking, and then he just come out of nowhere like I can't feel my face. That's that's how I feel right now. That's what test like, I'm touching my lips and ship

myself want im drips. Let me just say something. I want to thank you brothers, because I can talk to you guys all night. But I know we just have the most fun that we could have. So I'm gonna I'm gonna end it on the strength of we're loving y'all because we're gonna keep going and keep going and keep going and you know what, you know, thank you for coming ahead because um the basis of our story. Uh me and my partner teacher here friend right there.

It's like, why don't people respect people after they you don't have success and continue to do something else like what happened? Why don't in hip hop and every other genre music, rock and roll, jazz, like you get to a certain level and people respect you. People will say for the hip hop they give you a milk date, like you got an inspiration date, motherfucker by the twenty four September such such such better you should be out. And then Caress One, which was one of my favorite rappers, said,

why would you say because you're attracted? Huh So I hope his message is correct because as a person get old, as a person, continue to put it working hip hop and we continue to salute them. I want, I want with Carresstress Caress One message to be down. Why would you say because you're attracted. So at one point I heard people say, you know because Jay said, you know, let me saying, he said, you guys on Instagram putting money to your air that ain't running over here. And

I understood what he meant. He would this in the young generation. He was understanding, go get a black card. Yeah, man, go get some credit, go get something, Go buy a vehicle, go, you know, so you can actually what people too that as it was disrespect because of his elderness. So before that I went came out what we wanted to do. We we wanted to say, the older you became in hip hop, the more you just kept reading supreme in hip hop, you want to salute that, you want to

respect that. We want to sit back and what's actually called the scope, the like when the aunt comes and put the man with the magnifying glass. Oh yeah, that too. But we want with the magnifying glass of our CEOs, the people that come out here and help keep pushing hip hop forward, because the thing about it, hip hop should be his own religion. Hip hop should be its

own gospel. It's be its own race, like people should at some point in the near future, people should register you know, black white, you know, and then hip hop, hip hop, bird up, bring back the right up to relax. Nah, but you should know. But you're right, you're right. But this is a different moment in life from some mama, like at the end of the day when people should register the vote, we should register hip hop like hip hop.

I'm I'm on, you can tell me to play. We should register hip hop because that's what we did with Borraq. It wasn't it wasn't a race thing. I think like it was a race thing. But we knew he was hip hop when we knew. We knew he knew whole lyrics because like he knew whole ship. He no ill maggo, let's vote for that name. Yeah, vote for Jesse. Let's just keep it real. I was dead. I was like, Jessie,

I'm much you. You voted for Jesse Jesse Jackson. Yeah, No, I won't get nobody nobody about he voted for Jesse. But I'm trying to take something down right now, he's you're still singing that. I expect that. I can always recognize a single nigga right now, I can always recognize the single nigga drinking more talking about he don't get everybody here. You understand it and he don't even know. But your side language game is because you know what, I want to spoke a cigarette, but I'm gonna spoke

with some week. But what I'm trying to tell y'all hip hop started on the park respected Puerto Rico Islands before the fucking United States. Absolutely, absolutely still was that the Puerto Rico's a hip hop hip hop came. Did you did you? Did you realize that? I'm sorry I got political on y'all this This wasn't a part of the program like that. Don't blame that's right there ahead. Did you see hip hop come to the aid a Puerto Rico before president before? It's still our president still

has an Absolutely he didn't let the man. He did what I'm saying, it's still what he's doing is not enough. And hip hop, the community is still coming to private citizens are helping Porto. And then I see it in the Atlanta one year you had two ft of snow and y'all y'all went crazy. This is not huh. Atlanta never had a christis no no. But how do you feel as Americans seeing that happened. I mean, that's I

think I think that's the that's the beauty of hip hop. Though, I think it's like we shouldn't be surprised because that's what hip hop does anyway. Hip hop has introduced people to everybody to different something completely, you know what I mean? Like, you know, I don't I don't even know if that Like when I was first started making music, I don't think it's no Puerto Rican girls in Atlanta. He I mean, I don't think it was no girls in the fil I know his friends, well, they wasn't not around in

College Park. I'm just saying. So it's like hip hop introduce you to that type of woman. Hip hop introduced you to, you know, going to the Dominican Republic, like we went to dr for what we went there for. Um, it's like a music it's like a big conference. Yea. Yeah, he better remember he was wound over too much, too much liquor. Let's give him start, give him the story. Good, Okay, I gotta tell you all, Just gotta tell you because

I'm dropped and I need some food. I played the FI we got you, we got ain't They worked him all right? Listen I'm dropped up, hell up and go to d R we out there for this convention. It's uh, I don't know who convintion it's a DJ convention. And these Dominican girls come back sounds like a bastard, and they don't speak no English, right, and we don't speak Spanish exactly, so it's just like a whole bunch of just funked up, like what's going on? But do you know?

And every language getting naked is the same talk and getting naked. Yeah, So this guy I go back into I go in the room, but I was in there fucking this Dominican girl getting around that one and he's talking to her crazy. It's mad. It's not you learned, saying he learned speaking crazy ship in the world to this girl and she don't understand nothing he's saying. It's like spens. I'm like, it's not even everything for us because she don't know what the talking. Yeo, I'm not

saying this thing was talking to a president. I'm saying the craziest ship in the world that you can fox me say to her. He's sacking it, sir, Yeah for me, dude, me for listen. By the way, I was there why this was happening, and I couldn't believe it. That's why I'm telling you because I'm like this niggers sucking to her. Okay, she don't know, she don't have nothing, he's saying. He's saying it to her, like you you gotta come on. She's like, what the what are you talking about? Yeah?

This thing? It was wow? Okay before we go to bout rocks, go right to you. You did. Look he's crying. Look but what what? What? What made you know that? That was? Is another door with it about? It's the same. Now we're in the same room. I mean, we're in the same say about we got a house. We got a house. So what happened about? I mean he pretty much said it just the day. I was wilding. I was wigging because you know, it was fun. I was like, you know what I'm saying. I was like, ship, you

don't know. I was like, this is like practice for when I want to talk to an American girl like this, So I was like I expect. I was like, yo, fun, we're gonna have some fun. It's my first time. And then we really took the jack really took Germany for some reason. So I was like talking. It's like Jay got the plane. We had to girls in there, and I was just like fuck it. I was just charged up. We had had a good time. I had a good time, for sure, at a good time. I had never seen

no crazy ship like that in my life. What did you talk about? I don't understand saying crazy. I'm saying the girl don't understand you. He's talking to her like she suck my dicks? What did she do? Such as la? He's so, where were the instructions going? I try to understand what you're saying. You said suck my Wait wait listen, by the way, listen, before I came over here, I told me he's like, don't talk about how about called me and say you're jad. He's going with these stories.

So I'm trying to get these niggas some stories. That's right. I'll give you the challenge. I'm just giving y'all some exclusive ship you back. We got to ask you because I think about the whole time all. That's what I I'm not lying on it. I'm telling you to act you real ship know lies? You know what. By the way, I get mad about my life right because my life is so real. It's just so real. It's I see

so much ship that niggas ain't never seen. So I like these type of opportunities where I can tell y'all ship and say ship, because I be I've seen so much since I was twelve that nobody ain't never seen. You know what I mean? Like, so it's crazy that you have to keep all of this ship like in your give us. You gotta give it out. That's what I'm saying. We need more, two more hours, Okay, give it up. You gotta give it out. So I ain't

gonna lie. I've been holding my pep since listen. I looked at times let as no, no, listen, let me take something, damn miss e leven o'clock listen listen to ship. No, you gotta relax. You gotta relax. You got relax. You gotta see that you relax. Got This is what we do because seeing hip hop, they give us an expiration day like yo, right was picking the way to listen. That's their ways, twin and that's the cocaine. Cocaine, cocaine,

oh ye, cocaine, fucking aybody. I want to I really want to say this that I'm sorry, man, your SCE was trolling when I did the rap Radar ship. I think it's going so hard on me. Yes, I why the fund you want them show on Twitter? Going stupid that one call me like, Yo, you gotta do Norrise show man that nigga show this ship. You gotta go do that nigga show. You did the wrong show first. I didn't wrong. You didn't want to show first. I was gonna bring it up, but you did, so I

felt like I got out there. I was like, come on, slot them niggas wasn't out. You do remember reading or Nevada when we was out there. You remember you Impact listen by the way Impact a conference and you know you know what. I know what I and you know what. You know there were shot niggas that moved when the West Coast niggas came. And I remember j D standing there with me, like he he stood there. I was there, but j D was right there. I remember he not moving.

So I said, damn, that's my nigga, Like I know we never officially said that, but I appreciate it. When all the East Coast niggas when up stairs. And that's how I met E forty because E forty came to me and said, damn anybody for the East Coast went up and I'm the only nigger that actually got a

fucking record this in the West Coast. And I wasn't this in them, but I was standing up for my coat l a lay and I stood there and one of the only other motherfucker's that stood there was this Nix And then this is how note it's done Perreon story the truth. I said, what you're drinking. I thought he's gonna say handy straight and he said dog very all. I was like, oh, this ship. I told the grad the president of Regulator sitting there, Levine, this nigg is

the one dog very I'm not moving. I can't move. Get that nigga. What do you want? And I bought you bas Do you remember that? Yeah? Yeah, I want your very. I don want to think you're drinking. I told you, just like, alright, cool. You tested me out. He was like, all right, cool. And they asked me, wh I might have drink that ship. I'm gonna keep the black black. No, but that was some real ship. Come in. No, that was some real ship, because at that time it was either you full fledge East coast,

like Atlanta was looked at the East coast. Keep it real, like we didn't have the division that these kids have now, like you gotta be for men Fest. Like it was all like it was almost like the NBA, you know, like the NBA, the NBA they said this is all East coast. They say Miami's East coast, Atlanta's East coast. It was almost like that. Yeah, it was like, I'm East coast, was East coast. I mean that's what Atlanta is, the East coast, though the miamis East coast. It is

what it is. Yeah, we're all the He's got us stick together. You never likes not real. You want to claime your soliss that steroids? It's steroids you want. I don't give he'd be moving up, man, Come on, it's the twist that you see. We met the other twins. This is the the twin work out. Yeah, good look what's steroids? I know about the creams called It's called maintenance. You got you gotta maintain every musch in your body every week. That's it. If you maintain everybody, every mussel

in your body, every week, you'll be It's good. A little lady, I'm so sorry, j D. Let me tell you something. Man, if a person work alright, you know yeah, you come in you know him and Mike's do you see him? L a fitness didn't see the different. I'll be sliding on my two. What you can do is, he asked, now keep it ready? You know you know this eat You're I have no choice now but to become a professional as eater. There an't go so they come to my room. I'm a professional ass eater or

now choice? You know my god, she's getting bigger now side that should getting thicker when they get us, because you know so, I'm just wearing the little bit and go on. You know hey, but look, hey they can to son. He's like dirty, he's still has a little joint. I want Chinese think you said anyway, They don't always relaxed, say this is the way it works. You love me, you gotta little my twin, you feel me, you love me, you gotta love you gotta love both for words, no

chill chilling? How many can least? How he like, I'm like yo, I see a passage in the club. I told my twin, I'm like yo, you gotta funk her from me? Mon nigga and he goes and bags and foxing from me like that's fat, Like this, I can't beat the dog. He stops on. He you know what I'm saying. I'm like, yo, you gotta do what I can do for her, you know what I'm saying. But we don't shut him. Yeah, he's temporarily out of service for the moment. You feel me for Max. I'm gonna

look again, man, I ain't the first purpose again. Yeah, babies only mad ten months? Baby? Let did it. Let's get that we are able who money? Right now, let me say something. You know, we're sing a little anything. You know what the day you died right there now when Winwood, this is very good, right, you very bad if it used to be very that's because you're like a like a fisher Miami guy. Okay, you gotta relax, like let's talk about the millennials. All right, it's very good. Now.

Now we're in like the upgraded section and we're still hooding it out j D. So now we gotta take one more shot. I'm done, but we don the one two the one thing right, right? Shoot one more that's it. No, you can take that to go. That's your always right back because yo, because j D, I don't thought a great job, very good. Oh look look at and that's for you and j D, I just want you to know we could have got like mad journitorial, what's actually

going stalistic? Don't want to do that. We are both fans and you you know what we do when we're about the film people, We just sit there and be just listen to the old music. We come here early and we just sit there and we just listen to the older everything. We make a playlist Spotify title, Hi us, let's give a good playlist how people should be representing. And the thing about it is, I guess the reason why this show works is because they quote unquote called

me a hip hop legend. But guess what, even up, I'm a hip hop legend. It will never take me away and my brother d J fan mixtape king, it would never take it away from me not being a fan of what originally played out. And I've never been scared or afraid to be a fan of anybody. I love being a fan. Why not the thing in hip hop we stop praising being a fan? Yeah? People being afraid of being fast, yo, yo, spread of that Creed got hold on home. That's that's a hundred of spray.

You gotta gonta put this in your go go find some business because little business overhead. Happy mother. But but you know this is my nigga. You know you know twin good you could do whatever funk you want to do. All right, you're gonna pop hold on hot champaign, kill people. You already know. So what I what I want to continue to do, to continue to praise our legends d D in case you don't claim it. It's like sometimes people come to me and be like, you know you

put the Neptunes on. I'm like, ah, the Laptuns are gonna be here. The Neptunes, whoever, whether they gave me a record or not, they were talent for the more though you did for them. But that's my way of me. You know what you for them on? Thank you, Thank you. But I don't want you to ever forget what you did for the whole Northern East Coast and hemisphere. You know, we didn't know what was happening in the LANDA. We didn't help. What's the hotels they had? Yeah, YEA had

the hotel forget it. It was like, no that's a switz Echel that came later that was next to the Linux the More. Yeah you think I don't know them. Yeah, And they had moved Chris under that too, and then they also had and also had the Polling restaurant. I've been doing different areas, you know. But it was like King like Quinto, Queen Quint like, you know, my first first business to atlant I was hurting. So I went to Quinto. It's like, it's like forty and then I realized,

I said, Damn, these niggas moved the same way. They allegate the same way they but they got accents and I said, I was in New York. We retard. It was rules. You know, you don't go to a strip club in New York. That's what we want it too. If you go to the strip club, you don't throw money, go too, you don't take the ships. Three. I did

all that my first week in Miami. But in Atlanta when Players Club, I'm gonna tell you what trans the whole ship when player when Players Club came out and ice Cube focused on Atlanta strip club, you know what I'm saying. And then when I went to Atlanta, I don't think the only club that's still open from back then, this Massi City. That's the only I'm correct, Yes, like there was other clubs. There was, Honestly, I just came later, right, came read later, and you guys introduced the strip club.

Even though Miami has been hip hop culture of Miamia. No, but what I'm saying through hip hop hip hop here too, we're to live and all of them and Luke and everybody. Yeah, but we we we can give you to Atlanta. We made it. We made the strippers famous. I mean, we can battle that in my own name one Triple Brad to start, who what's the name rap from? Yeah, shutting Rad. That's only one though. One said. I'm saying, like listen, I'm just saying like to like. I just think to

like birth y'all. Y'all gave birth to the death because when I was Atta, you can't even touch a girl in Atlanta in the strip club. You can't get a real lap dance. You can't get in Miami. You can get full all lap dance everything. See you know what I'm saying. I don't know what time I stupid to this from the nineties. I'm talking about Miami Atlanta, Miami, and Atlanta is the only place where it's real strip clubs. That absolutely, I believe that your true strip clubs. You

can see a bit hole insides. You're right, you're right. But I think what he's saying, this is what we can all agree to, is that we broke records. Y'all, y'all did with y'all, y'all did y'all in the strip. But what we but what we did, we we we made the strippers famous in Atlanta. That's what we did. Like white chocolate sugar, uh man, Like we started making

the the strippers. The strippers became Like I mean, I'm probably a bad ambassador for the strippers being famous in Miami, but I guarantee you made a lot of strippers in Miami famous. Tim, I mean, you got something. But I'm saying that that focus became. Atlanta's focus was like the strippers. Right. It was a club called the Gentleman's Club, and they used to focus on like the hottest strip of a month. Right, you go to the club, you you see the girl

as soon as you walk in the club. They got a big old sign out there like this is stripper of the month. Right, The strip of the month, so you start, we must go to the clubs for that girl. We had stripper of the day in Miami, you know what I mean? And that to me, that's that's what the strip club is lost. Now, the strip clubs. I just think that don't focus on the South. The strip

club culture is a Southern thing. I'm saying, yeah. Two, and before we end, before before the thing is, we broke records in the strip club in the South, in Miami, in Atlanta, I'm assuming like that's the way you broke record. This are two things I gotta gotta. I gotta get established before you get out of here. All right. When you think the strip club culture, it's as a person from New Yorker East Coaster, I always think Miami or Atlanta, all right. And for a strange reason, every time I

think about Lemon Pepper, I think about, yeah, yeah, motherfucker. No, he's taking the stripper Lemon Pepper, motherfucker. I need to understand. Now, you from more high right from New York for me, and you gotta ask, and you from Miami. Correct, listen, Let's do a game show, all right, let's go. Let's do a game show. I don't want to say, where did the strip club culture start? And I want to see which one of y'all say it started anywhere? An okay,

so severywhere, bro. Second, I'm saying, like, no strip coach sex she at some point. That's the reason why New York didn't mess with strip club culture because we thought you had to buy sex and all that. You didn't understand the movie. Actually y'all have pasties in the club. That's horrible, man, Okay, you win, you win that. But after we've seen the movie Players Club, New Yorkers was like, oh, that's what they do. They go there to check hill. We didn't know that. You don't agree with me, are

with way too young on this one. Stay out, Stay out because you're my brother. But Way to the Street was almost like being in a club. Jad you no more, just no mind to us. We're just here talking. But at that time, when the Players Club came out the movie, you remember that, that's the first time New Yorkers realized that Southerners y'all actually go to strip club that chail, Wait,

but what year was Players Club? Because I could imagine we got a guy he got to google in front of him, because before that movie came out, y'all was already coming down to Miami for it wasn't it was starting Luke's peep show. It was not working with strip clubs. J Strip Clubs was like this, he's talking about New York. I'm just saying, by the way, by the way, I'm gonna say this, but but I'm saying it was coming was coming down. Let me just say this, like, what

are you talking about with the New York ship? Like when I put out, when I put out to us and I put out the young bloods, rightod is coming here. So when I put these records out, um, case Slate, Case l he tried to he was dissing me. He was mad at me. I don't know why, but I never I don't know what it was, but Case Slay has said that, Like one of my street team guys went out and they just saying that. Case Slate was like, Yo, if you bring another one of these Southern records in here,

really not with this ship. This is before New York sounded a little way in New York sounds right now because so so so the strict club era where he's talking about in New York wasn't on this right. So I New York had their own way that they were doing sues rightdevu in the Bronx, Right. So I went to Sues and I was checking out how they were going on the Sues and I was like, Yo, you

know what I'm gonna do Atlanta versus New York. So I got every girl from the General's Club, Magic City and um Strokers and all these places, and I put them on this toolbus. And when I took them to New York and we went to New York and we

did this battle between Atlanta and New York. Amber Rose was still stripping at Sues right de vue at this particular point time, um and and and it was like you could tell like it was a completely different era of what was happening in Atlanta compared to what was going on in New York. Now, New York looks just like Atlanta, strip club sound everything. Back then, y'all killed us. Yeah, we killed you because that over we had. But it

was the culture that you're talking about. We we I brought that to New York with the with the thing and just you know, Atlanta was ahead of the you know, the fake asses, all that ship. There was Atlanta was at it that it was on that and this was this was after Luke. So it wasn't like not like I was, you know, disrespecting Miami, because Miami definitely set this off. But it was like after Luke stopped his penetration of what he was doing calls, uh, it was.

It was you know, Luke was the guy that was letting everybody know what was going on in Miami. Is Once he stopped that, Atlanta took that over. But we took it over. We took it over, like I said, in a in a light that put the light on the dancers, the girls, the girls. That was you know, you wanted to see this girl. You wanted to see this girl. You want to see this girl. That was That's what Atlanta did. We put the light on the girls. So that's why these chicks got a meaning. Father was Yeah,

that's where that started. No hard, Yeah, that's where that started. No heart, They roofless out here. You ever see the girls, Yeah you gotta relax. What yeah, because you let me tell you something. If you ever see the Spanish guy sad just bring them to Atlanta, Spanish everywhere. Did you drop what he knows? He told me you had to bust up r. Yeah, yeah, because he was low. He's still.

Let me tell you some Cuban bitches the better swimming Columbia. Listen, listen when this guy that's a very authentic I forget a married I'm so real good free crazy. He's that's fucking yellow bowls. I was going crazy. You gotta relax to right, all right, listen listen, I'm so sorry your bas been through this all right now, I've been through this about just looking at j D Now, I was little,

right when was little? Huh? Please tell us I had all these ship of girls around me and by just usually be like yo mad because he was just mad at me because I had on the stripper girl. And then it was like the one day like I had we took this trip to Dallas and the nigga went crazy on the triple girl on the bus. Right, they

got mad. He was like a little he was like a little kid, but he makes crazy like he was like like almost like damnly try to take everybody hustage and some crazy ship because he wanted this stripper so bad. He wanted this girl so bad, and you had it was because I had it with me and he got old enough and he went and all these girls there was like he stripping. This nigger went and all the girls so bad. I was I wasn't going to bring this up. Oh my god, I'm so you know, I'm

not a gossip guy that stuff. He's gonna bring it up. But I gotta bring it up because J j J gave me the super liese. So what is it media take out that's saying that you responded to future? Yeah, no, I've seen that now that they the media just took what I said and put it to you want to be patty, you could be No, No, not at all, not at all. It was actually about a check who I took to the islands, and then when I took

it down to no bullshit, listen, no bullshit. I took the girl to the eyelids and um, the whole time, she was, you know, front, like she didn't have a dude or whatever. So when we got back home, my partner's slim was like, yo, did you know? And I was like, I had nothing to do Now, I swear to guy, had nothing to do him, gonna do him. And when I seen who the nigga was a select

the nigga's a real sucker though. So when I seen it, that's why I was like, oh, Ship, like I really had your bitch in the Bahamas and I see you now on Instagram hugging, loving, holding her hand, kissing her. Now, oh that's just not the player move. Like her mouth was in places, and so when I saw it. But

the crazy Ship is she actually called me. When she called me, she said, um, hey, look look look you know, can you just say like we were just broke, like we were just kicking it right when I was in Atlantic, like we weren't doing nothing right. It's the person. I'm like what you're talking about. But my mind clicked like, oh Ship, she in front of her dude like I'm gonna just play along with it. Now. We cold, we ain't never, we ain't never. Did nothing just to save

her little relationship she had going on. But I didn't know who the nigga was. When I say who the nigga was, I was like, oh, this this nigga, And that's what prompt me to put the tweet up about the broad She got real lost me. So that's how I don't know what's going on. I don't know. I don't know what's going to be old as before this. I don't know, but I'm what do you mean? People? People have no idea, just whatever he said. Look, don't don't go, don't go, don't gonna polo put jamas. You

know listening about Listen, you're a great person. You could do whatever the funk you want to do. Look about And that's the great thing about it. You. The thing is, it's a great conversation. I just heard the other day and they said, you know you you see you think here a great artist. They say, yeah, alright, cool, Well they they artistry starts from such such, but when it's new school artists, you get to see them make mistakes from fourteen all yeah, because we didn't have that back then.

Like back then you had to like do something and for in order for people to even recognize. But the new generation could throw the record and you can see their mistakes from the very beginning and our errors. We really like we have to actually have a record label like YouTube is everybody's record, Like absolutely, I want to say in speak on what you're saying like that, I didn't make no mistakes like I was speaking, I was

speaking about. I'm just saying. I'm saying I think younger generation, which is really weird because people always really got something to say about about what they never really know. I mean that was like that was like the like the Funds, like Funzy, like zyaz Bro was like Happy Days. Niggers is mad at because he bitches you want the shots. I ain't like that. I'm just saying, like you ain't. You ain't really got no reason to be daddy bull. I seent you get you get it in hell me,

I gotta kept this call. I'm gonna get there. You go, You're gonna do it whatever. We gotta end. Do a picture in the drop. Listen, Thank y'all. Listen. I'm gonna be honest because by why thank you always. But they supporter of this show, by the way, great great gus. I'm gonna be honest just in case both of y'all don't normal reiterate, will we represent. There has never been an outlet in media where a rapper is controlling what rap media listens to. I don't know how I did it.

I don't know how to fun Me and this motherfucker came up with this idea. For for some reason, people come and tune in and listen to this, and if you don't believe me, you will see it on your social media. You will see it because you've seen it when um you did rap Radar. It's my bad. No, I don't know listening since Impact a fiction, all right, but that's all people. We're not listening them and we don't want to be a competition for nobody. But that's not what we do. We just want to I mean,

you was really trolling them that it was ting. I was tilling you give it on. I'm a little want understand you. Was like daggers listen. Listen that time to Impact convention and read No nobody. I don't know if you know them, niggers would have killed all of us. It's West Coast against everybody that day. So anybody who's still in that lobby I respected. I never felt anything. They were never talking about me because you by the way, that's go back to the pump that yeah, but you

are talking about you don't want Jay. You made global music. I made straight music at that time. I made music, and especially I had a record called l A. So I stood down there and it was only a couple of people that stood down there and you stood down and I said, j D, um, can I buy you a drink? And you said that ship to me said I want Don Perion. I said, damn, I didn't know what that was. I turned around. New to Be said

he won what as a Don Perrea. That ship was like four or sixty at that time, So I can't I said, I can't tell them, nigger, I ain't got it. The president of record, they was saying to him, I'm good now any time I see j D. And you know what, these years later, you probably didn't even know what that moment meant to me. You was probably the only East Coast Nigga that stood there standing with me. I don't even want to talk about. There's other people

that was there. But they went upstairs at some point they found their girl, and I stood there. You know, the only person I still deal with my uncle Wise. This is my mother brother and my uncle Wise just stood there and and and you didn't know what you did. You're just like, yeah, I said, you let me buy your drink. They said, yeah, I drink on perry On.

I didn't know what that was, but I went and I went and I did that, and you stood there with it, and then the forty walked, this is all in the podcast, It's all document, and then the forty came because they were all right there, but they were like that, thinking me a land But now I'm on the super doc. What what? What? What? Have a No. One record in the country. You just gonna relax, But I don't know how to tell them relax. I don't know how, but I'm like, yo, I'm not a ups

I'm still waiting in front of niggas. And then yeah, I know, I love it. I know you don't even know drop.
