AYE!plus is a native of Washington, D.C. Born and raised in Southeast, D.C. in the Hill East neighborhood, better known as 17th & Compton to Native Washingtonians. He began rapping at a young age when he was a member at the Eastern Branch Boys & Girls Club that had a music studio he would spend time in with his peers. As one of the early DC rappers he came up alongside Shy Glizzy, Fat Trel, and Lightshow during a time where DC Rap began to become more popular than the original sound of the city, Go-Go music.
