KEVIN SHINE TOP A&R EXECUTIVE FOR RECKLESS RECORDINGS/UNIVERSAL

A native of Chicago, Kevin Shine, CEO of the F.I.R.M., is a visionary, business entrepreneur, music industry executive/consultant and professor of music studies. He is known for his extraordinary contribution as an educator at the prestigious Columbia College, Chicago, where he taught music classes and was responsible for 70% of the students obtaining employment or internships in the music business. He is also the recipient of the “Outstanding Service Award,” presented to him by the college, in recognition of his commitment in training and teaching students on music education. Kevin also lectured at New York University (NYU) on contract negotiations, and takes time to serve as a panel speaker at industry-related conferences across the country.

Known to have a giving heart and desire to share his years of knowledge with others, he takes time to mentor up-and-coming artists who aspire to be in the business of music, as well as discovering assisting with the early development of career
