Born Oct. 23 1975, Korey L. Smith started a journey. Raised in Cook county on the South side of Chicago, he was like all other kids running and playing, but Korey always had a Walkman with him listening to music. As he grew older; the listening to music became a passion to create music, as the now age 12 K Smooth, began to write rhymes/raps in his spare time. Participated in a few talent shows, battling at lunch, or even in the hallway during high school, K Smooth started to develop as he wrote more and more...Through the years and after numerous underground mix tapes, a full length album with group members Inner City Hoodlumz, a solo venture, and many features on other projects, K Smooth is still going strong creating new music for true hip hop rap fans...and he's not going anywhere
