Episode description

Dr. Sam Kimbles, psychologist, Jungian analyst, and immediate past president of the San Francisco Jung Institute, sat down with me to talk about Jung’s psychospiritual crisis and the origins of the Red Book. What follows is a personal story about how Jung’s process affected Dr. Kimbles, and why he is exploring the material in both lectures and workshops with the general public. We talk at great length about “Active Imagination,” which is a process Jung developed during this time of inner transformation.

Sam Kimbles and Sara Phillips are holding a two-day lecture and workshop in Santa Rosa, CA on June 8 – 9. Download event flyer.
