¶ Introduction to Plasma and Its Role in the Body
I don't know about you, but when I'm using AI for my business, I don't need it to tell me what to do. I know what I want. I just need help making it happen. With Wix, I finally have an AI tool that gets things done the way I want. I just have to describe the type of website I need and it's ready. I can even ask it to manage my inventory, plan my next marking campaign, or help out my customers. Wix gives me AI wherever I need it. Try it out.
¶ Welcome and Lab Review with Dr. Paul Savage
at Wix.com. And the plasma is the conduit that carries everything in the body. So it carries good, bad, and ugly nutrients, hormones, medications. Inflammation, toxins, oxidations, it carries everything. So in the plasma exchange, we throw the plasma away because we want to get rid of the bad stuff. And then we recombine your cells with a replacement fluid and send them back into your body.
Welcome back to the podcast. Today, I am actually reviewing my labs with Dr. Paul Savage. We did the Vibrant Wellness. total toxic burden test. And my lab surprisingly were quite high in toxins. Now there was an issue. There was a flaw with my lab test, which we'll explain as we go. that my urine creatinine levels were very low, which meant that I was over hydrated. So the results are not necessarily accurate.
¶ Understanding Plasma Exchange and Its Benefits
But it did show very high toxic load, which really surprised and shocked me because in general, as a 44-year-old, I feel amazing. I feel like I have tons of energy. You know, I lift weights six days a week. I'm in my sauna. Tons of energy for my wife, for my kids. Very rarely am I fatigued throughout the day. I feel phenomenal. I rarely get sick.
So I was pretty surprised at the results. But with that said, we go through these lab results and we talk a lot about the plasma exchange. And if you have been listening to my podcast for any period of time, I've had Dr. Paul Savage on before. In fact, episode 605, we talked. about the most powerful way to reduce toxicity and chronic inflammation. And we talked all about plasma exchange.
The stuff that mdlifespan.com does, I mean, I'm a huge advocate of what MD Lifespan, MD as in medicaldoctorlifespan.com.
¶ The Importance of Detoxification and Plasma Exchange
what they do, what Dr. Paul Savage has been doing. He is just a brilliant mind in this space. Somebody that I'm learning from, particularly with Plasma Exchange, which is a patent pending therapeutic. Plasma exchange protocol designed to address harmful toxins. All of us are being exposed to so many different toxins. That includes microplastics, pesticides, industrial chemicals. All these things drive chronic inflammation.
And of course, on this podcast, I'm a huge advocate and I constantly am talking about opening up your drainage pathways, making sure you're peeing, pooping, sweating, and breathing toxins out of your body, making sure you're taking care of your liver so your body's able to deactivate. and move toxins out of your body. So critical, so important.
But even if you're doing that, you may still have a very high toxic burden. And particularly if you've got chronic illnesses, chronic inflammatory conditions, I would highly recommend checking out mdlifespan.com. Check out their plasma exchange. They're seeing just absolutely amazing.
¶ Personal Experience and Future Plans
results. I've been in the natural health space for a long time. I've never heard quite the stories that plasma exchange is seeing. And that's because it is the most scientific way to dramatically lower your toxic burden quickly. And it's very safe. And they do a detailed screening to make sure that you're a candidate before they actually do this therapy on you. But it is really amazing. And it's something that I am personally going to do.
Dr. Savage and mdlifespan.com are opening a clinic out here and where I live out in the Atlanta area sometime soon here in 2026. And so I'm excited to get going. We're actually going to do. When I do my therapies, we're going to do another follow-up podcast with that. I'm going to get my total toxic burden lab run again. So we're going to do all of that again as well. And I really want to see kind of pre-post results.
and how my toxic burden drops. So I'm excited about that. And I'm really excited to share this with you guys. If you have tried a lot of different things and just don't seem to be improving your health or perhaps you were diagnosed with a chronic disease, then I would highly, highly recommend considering the TPE, the plasma exchange. It is just a powerful therapy that can really revolutionize your health.
With that said, this intro has been long, but I'm a huge advocate of this. Again, mdlifespan.com, revolutionizing natural health and medical health in general. So really great stuff. Check it out. And be sure to leave a five-star review on our podcast, of course. Share this with anybody that you know and that you care about. And without further ado, let's go into this interview with Dr. Paul Savage.
This podcast is sponsored by our friends over at Paleo Valley. And did you know that as you age, your natural production of collagen declines? This results in fine lines and wrinkles, joint pain, dark circles under your eyes and more. Cause you see collagen is like the glue that holds your body together. And luckily there's an easy way to feed your body additional collagen. It's called bone broth. Studies show consuming bone broth.
protein can boost metabolism, support gut health and digestion, reduce cellulite, grow healthy skin and nails, support joints, and more. But if you've ever made bone broth, you know it's time consuming. I mean, who really has a time to simmer bones for 48 hours? That's why I like to use bone broth protein powder. Simply mix a scoop with hot water.
or add to a smoothie or even a baked dish and reap all the benefits of collagen-rich protein in just 30 seconds a day. Now, most companies use the hides or the skin of the animal. This is less nutrient dense than the bones. That's why I love. the Paleo Valley Bone Broth Protein because they use 100% grass-fed beef bones from cows that are never fed GMO grains or any grains for that matter. They even test for over 40 pesticides to ensure this is the finest.
and purest bone broth protein on the market. These bones are slow simmered to extract as much collagen peptides as possible. They use no chemicals or solvents, just good old-fashioned bone broth that's then gently powdered. And it contains the amino acid glycine, which promotes healthy sleep. Research has shown that a three gram dose of glycine improves sleep by lowering body temperature.
and boosting serotonin levels now serotonin is the key precursor to melatonin and it does this all without causing daytime drowsiness each serving of 100 grass-fed
¶ Interview with Dr. Paul Savage: Plasma Exchange Explained
Bone broth protein from Paleo Valley contains 15 grams of collagen protein and 3.4 grams, so that clinical dose of glycine. You can save 15% off, 100% grass-fed. bone broth protein by going to paleovalley.com forward slash jockers. Again, save 15% by going to paleovalley.com forward slash jockers. Well, I'm here with Dr. Paul Savage from mdlifespan.com.
I actually had him on episode number 605. If you want to go back in time, we talked about the most powerful way to reduce toxicity and chronic inflammation with plasma exchange. therapy, which is cutting edge, revolutionary. And Dr. Paul, Dr. Savage actually went ahead and we got together. We ran a vibrant wellness. toxicity, full toxicity lab on me. A total, it's called a total toxic burden lab.
And we're going to review that in this podcast. So this is great. And Dr. Paul, I mean, he's just been in this field for a long time and just seeing amazing results with plasma exchange. And so for our audience that's new to the topic of plasma exchange. Most of my audience knows that toxicity is a serious issue in our society, and it's at the root of all chronic inflammatory conditions, chronic degenerative conditions.
Dr. Paul, what is plasma exchange? How does that work? So plasma exchange is a device that, I mean, if you go to a blood bank, if you go to a hospital... We have many different machines that do a lot of different things with blood, including blood donations, plasma donations, dialysis machines. But plasma exchange is a variation of that.
Because what it does is it actually takes the blood out of your body, centrifuges it to split it into the liquid part we call plasma and the solid part we call your cells. And the plasma is the conduit that carries everything in the body. So it carries good, bad, and ugly. Nutrients, hormones, medications, inflammation, toxins, oxidations. It carries everything.
In the plasma exchange, we throw the plasma away because we want to get rid of the bad stuff, and then we recombine your cells with a replacement fluid and send them back into your body. In about the next 24 hours, your body will make... on its own new fresh Dave Jocker clean plasma I mean everybody makes their own plasma and body does this continually so in essence it's an oil change for humans that's what we're doing and just like an oil change
If you had an old car that had a lot of dirt in the engine, you'd have to change the oil. frequently, many times. And they usually change your oil, wait three weeks, change oil, wait three weeks, change it. We do exactly the same thing because it takes that long for the system of the body for the toxins to leave the tissues.
reaccumulate in the plasma so if you do plasma change too soon you won't get the biggest bang for the buck when you're trying to remove the toxins and if you believe as I do and I know you do that the toxins are the root cause of virtually everything you don't want to have, you have to do the process in a way to get them lowered and removed.
Yeah, that's a great summary. When we're talking about toxins, we're talking about things like, for example, mold and mycotoxins, environmental toxins, like, for example, BPA and different chemicals. We're talking about heavy metals, lead, mercury, all of that kind of stuff. And all of us are being exposed to this on a regular basis. And so we always talk about...
Reducing your exposure. Number one, that's always key. Do your best to reduce your exposure. Open up your drainage and detoxification pathways. That's always critical. But beyond that, the reality is that we're just not getting all of these things out, right? And for some people, their bucket, their toxic bucket overflows. early in life and they have significant symptoms for others. It's later in life. But, you know, all of us, our goal is to keep that toxic bucket.
low, right? Keep our overall toxic burden low and to eliminate as much of these toxins as possible. And plasma exchange, you know, I know Dr. Savage has been seeing patients for a long time. And he was telling me how it is the most revolutionary thing he has ever seen when it comes to helping people improve their health. And can you just touch on that a little bit?
Sure, Dave. I just really quick want to back up a little bit as we talk about the toxins for people to realize there's over 200,000 different toxins in the U.S. land. And we're increasing that load by 100 million tons of toxins every year. So this is a problem that's escalating, and it's going up by about 10% to 12%. per year even now so next year will be 110 million tons and so you can't avoid them at all but with plasma change you can markedly reduce your toxic load
But the interesting thing that we also discovered was there are ways to make your environment safe so you don't put them back in. Because you and I know rule number one of detox is don't put them in the first place. Absolutely. There's a whole bunch of discussions about how difficult is that to do. It's actually very simple. There's guidebooks on how to make sure your water is clean, air clean, food clean, home clean, cosmetic clean.
It's not a lot of things you have to do because 90% of the toxins that you get exposed to are inside your house. Yeah. So you can't make that space clean. It works. Matter of fact, the patients we've had three years now had plasma. protocol three years ago have lower toxin levels today than they did three years ago because now their body can detox. Those pathways do open. But you're right. Some people, their body gets so overburdened.
because of many different things it has to do with age it has to do with how much fat you have because your body hides it in the fat has to do whether you're female or male because women don't detox as strongly as men do um and so we're really looking at the 60 year old thin female who use cosmetic products They're literally the most toxic people we're seeing. Yeah, that makes sense. Back to your question. One more time.
Yeah, so then I was talking about what kind of results are you guys seeing with the plasma exchange? So amazingly, I can go through the data. We do 200 biomarkers. on most patients beforehand.
and afterwards so we can show people the difference and we're looking at the immune system and we're looking at inflammation and oxidation and antibodies we're looking at the way your body detox around the pathways we're looking at over 110 different toxins On the toxins alone, we are seeing remarkable reduction so that virtually the vast majority of the patients...
have their toxin loads come under what's called the 75% NHANES ratio. That's kind of our goal because what we do know is that the government measures everybody's toxins in a select group of people every two years and then they post those numbers so when you're looking at different ranges on a toxin test one of the things people have to realize is that's not the range of where you might get sick and where you are going to get sick
That's the range where the government has taken... a toxin and measured it in a bunch of people and mapped it out and that upper range is the top five percent of the population and whatever that number was that put you in the top five percent that's the upper range number And then the other number they look at is the 75% range of where the top 25% is. Whatever that number is, is what they call the moderate range. So it's not based on disease. It's based on a survey against you and other people.
But the vast majority of people are relatively healthy. And so we really do start seeing a correlation between when people start getting further along in that path. So what we're seeing is...
Most of the toxin levels, especially things like heavy metals, forever chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, phenols, phthalates, plastics, BPA, glyphosate, mycotoxins, they all markedly reduce. It's not a matter of... if we can get them down it's just how many plant how many oil changes do we have to do to get them down to where it's an acceptable range where we think you can manage that load by yourself and then start doing the things you do to get them even further down or
where you start feeling better because we always tell people this is the first step of beginning to feel better because once we get the toxins down, now the body has to heal. So we're talking about the people with the chronic fatigue, the mold toxicity.
¶ Reviewing Lab Results and Discussing Toxins
the heavy metal toxicities, people with autoimmune issues. It's just all these people with these chronic inflammatory diseases. There is nothing that toxins love to do that make those things worse, if they're not. causing it to begin with, they're certainly complicating it all the way through. Yeah, no doubt about it.
You know, we're going to go through my lab results. And, you know, it's one of those things I was pretty shocked to see what we saw on the lab results. In general, I feel like, you know, now I'm 44 years old. I feel better than I felt, you know, even in my 20s and 30s. And I do a lot to take care of my health. Obviously, I have air purifier, water filtration, try not to drink out of plastic.
You know, in general, I feel like my family are in our home. We rarely get sick, you know, and I've got four young kids. And so I feel like I'm doing pretty good. But looking at these results, I was quite alarmed. And so we're going to go through that. Dave, you are doing good because... The first thing that we look at when we're evaluating a toxin test is how sick or well is the patient. Because it's not just a matter of how many toxins you have.
It's a matter of which toxins you have because not all toxins are created equal. There are certainly ones that are much worse for you than other ones in the environment. The other thing is, how are these toxins playing against your health, against your DNA? Because certain people, I'm sorry, but they're just born with...
Bad DNA. They have a lot of inherited diseases. They have bad detox pathways. There's just a whole bunch of these combinations. So in some patients like you or your family, if you have good genes, you might be able to handle a moderate toxic load. Whereas somebody else with not so good genes, not so much. Now, me, I'm good old-fashioned Irish, so I don't have a lot of good genes. All the guys in my family have died by 65 from either cancer or heart disease.
And all the women died before 70 with Alzheimer's. Now, I'm the youngest in the family. I'm the so-surviving member of my core family. And I'm just coming up on 65 now, and I've never been in better shape in my life. So that point of that is genes play into a lot of it, but how you manage your lifestyle and how you manage plays up to that as well. So there's one thing about getting the toxins down, but another thing in looking at...
how they're playing against your health and your DNA. Yeah, no doubt. Let me share my screen here. Well, this is page one. Do you want me to go to page two? So this is a great place to start, David, because a couple of different things is this is a company called Vibrant America. We use this company because of the ease of the administration. It's just a urine test. You do one sample in the morning. How easy was it for you to collect? Oh, super easy. Yeah. And then they have a...
ability to do a QR code on your phone so it registers everything for you. It's one of the easier companies to work with. And it's very comprehensive because they had 12 different categories of toxins, and we measure about 109 in total. If patients or your readers or listeners are ordering this test, this is called the Vibrant America Total Toxic Burden plus the PFAS add-on.
So we add the forever chemicals on there too. And those are very important because they're very dangerous. So when they do this test, we just want to make sure that they have all four of those tests listed. Let's go down to the next page and we'll start with the top of the page. Because what this company does is give you a summary in the first few pages. How many pages the summary is depends on how many toxins that you have listed. So the first thing they're listing.
Is it all the toxins that you had in your body that put you in the upper 5% of Americans with that level of toxin? And so that number, that's a division between the yellow and the red, is that level. The government does this every two years. I'm telling you, those numbers edge up every year. So it's still 5%, but those numbers keep going higher and higher.
Every year they revise those numbers, except in a few cases with lead and a couple other things they've worked hard to get down. The vast majority of these things aren't regulated well enough to make them go down, so they just constantly keep going up. But these red, yellow, green doesn't mean you're critically ill, you're moderately ill, and you're healthy. It just means that you're in the upper 5% of America, the upper 25% of Americans, or you're in the bottom 75% of healthy Americans.
And that's very important to realize because, David, what's the normal healthy level of any toxin in your body? Zero. Zero. So anything above zero is abnormal here. These are not supposed to be in our body. The vast majority of these are manufactured. They weren't in our environment a thousand years ago, and they're in our environment now. So that's the take-home message is if you have any of these above zero, that's not normal.
So one of the things on understanding this is when we looked at this test on 300 healthy 50-year-olds in Chicago, the average number of... Toxins in the high range was 5, and the average number in the moderate range was 8. Now, if you're just a regular mathematician like I am, and... you have this upper 5%, upper 25%, you would expect that every person would, if you're the average person, you have five in the upper range.
and you'll have 20 in the moderate range. That would be the average American because that's what this is based on. Our group had five in the upper range and eight in the moderate range because these were healthy people who are in longevity and health and things like that. So that's why there's a little bit of a differential in those numbers.
So one of the things we do when we talk to people is we just give them a comparative of where they are compared to other people. So we add up all of the ones in the upper range. And how many do you have there, David? Quite a few. Four, five, six. Probably about 20. And there's more on the next page. So you're way out there. But here's one of the things I want people to make sure they do. And I don't say, okay, the problem is with you. Go down.
You see that creatinine? Yeah, creatinine. You see that creatinine is very low? Yeah. So they correct mathematically for low creatinine. But when you get really low... A lot of those numbers that were near the green and yellow kind of drift over to the yellow. And the ones that were kind of near the yellow and the red drift over the red. So what we're having here on you is a little bit of low creatinine shift.
I would be telling patients, we need to go repeat this again. And I don't want you drinking so much water during the night. We want that collected where you're not drinking a lot of water. You have sips, you keep yourself... hydrated you know but you don't drink so much during the night that you're watering down the sample because that causes a drift in the number so we're going to send you another test and so we can do this again because this is one of the things that
Many doctors don't realize, as a mathematician, having done bio numbers for a living for many years, this is the part where you're like, wow, I got so many toxins in me and I'm feeling pretty good. You know what I know in medicine. If the patient feels really good and the numbers look weird, it's probably the numbers that you have to kind of look at. And in case here, we actually have evidence that it's probably the numbers. Now, when we repeat the test and you're not so well hydrated,
And we'll see where these numbers shift. But the fact is, whether these numbers shift or not, they're there in you. It's just to what degree. So let's just pretend we're going to shift those numbers about 30%. the other way so that 20 now came down to about 8 12 and it might be even lower than that might be six it depends on how big the shift is and there's no way to calculate that so repeat it so on the moderate levels
¶ Understanding Toxin Levels and Their Impact
that you just had up there you had about yeah 12 i think it's uh maybe 15 so you had about 35 out of 109 which is much more than even the average person has But there's a shift there, and I think we could probably safely reduce it by probably, in your case, half. But we'll repeat to do that. But for the purpose of the discussion of how to read this, that's one of the main points that people miss, is you've got to look at that.
If it's too high, they shift lower. If it's too low, they shift higher. And even though they correct for it, there's a fudge factor there. And the further you are to the lower or higher, the more the... So that's why I want to explain to you that I didn't really think these were overly worrisome because.
When you take into account the shift, you're probably more in the 17 range. And as you know, as I told you, most Americans are in the 25. I mean, that's the average American. The healthy ones we had were 13. You're probably, I'm guessing, the 17.
That's kind of how you read this whole thing, so I don't want people jumping off bridges and get worried, like, oh my gosh, look at all this stuff, because you have to be able to interpret the rain as well. But like I said, these are still going to be positive in you. probably just to a different degree.

¶ Detailed Analysis of Toxins and Their Sources
renew your energy and transform your mind, body, and spirit. Tune into the Dr. Josh Axe show every Monday and Thursday, wherever you get your podcasts. Now this company tells you. Each toxin in the high range, what it is, where it came from, how you might want to get rid of it. It's very good information for people to read, but I want to make sure people, when they read it all the time, take it with a grain of salt because just because it says it's a carcinogen.
doesn't mean you're going to get cancer. Just because it says it's an oxidative, doesn't mean you're going to break your DNA. It's just that these things have been tracked. But it is a good thing to read when you realize all of these things are dangerous. Even the people like... Mold's not that dangerous. Mold is one of the top four toxicants that we look at. We're looking at mycotoxins, plastics, the forever chemicals, and the pesticides. Out of all the ones we're going to look at on the sheet,
The mycotoxins are in the high category of problematic for people. And you and I know that because we've been in this field long enough. We have people who come in knowing they're mold toxic, go into a moldy room. eat food that, and they literally get sicker on the spot. So mold's a real...
problem in the universe because it's one of the high toxicants and because it's all over everywhere. We didn't have so many problems with mold when we lived in caves and ate fresh grain. But now we live in wood houses and we eat grain that's been in silos. for 10 years getting moldy and then they bring it out and make it into bread. And so we're getting most of the mold that people get is either from their house or it's from the grains that we eat. And you had a lot of mycotoxins.
So this is a breakdown of each different category of mycotoxins. And you can see you're pretty extreme on most of them. Yeah. But some of them are worse. So when you start looking down that list, you get the strataginus, the... that's the black mold that's the one that that's on the page before that's when you have to which one is the black mold right about the the z alone you don't have it that's like the one you don't have
Which is great. Good. Like a, yep, stachybotrys, that black, that form of black mold. Yep. Yep. Yep. And keep going another one. Heavy metals. Here's the heavy metals coming up. There you go. Now, see, on the heavy metals, again, pretty good. Pretty good, yep. Just palladium. Palladium is high, yep.
And that comes mostly from water supply. So you are filtering your water, and it doesn't use any metal. I mean, you have to check on that part. Sometimes you find it in the filtration system. But we can pass on the heavy metal part from you because... It's pretty good. Now, the environmental toxins, keep going until we get to that list. Those are probably one of the ones that we start getting really worried about. The phenols, they're not the most worst except for the...
biphenyl A is absolutely terrible because it comes from plastic. So this test does not test for microplastics. But we did on our original patients, we had over 500 of them, we actually did microplastic testing. at the Finland lab that did it for the heart, the cardiac, the atherosclerotic. We did the same lab and we compared it to the Vibra America. And what we saw is a very strong correlation between biphenyl A and phthalates and the number of microplastics.
which makes complete sense because biphenylate is a plastic byproduct. So if you have this kind of a level in biphenylate when we do the next test, then it probably is. You probably do have quite a bit of microplastics, which is not uncommon. It's one of those ones that everybody has, but it's one of also what we consider a forever chemical because they're very difficult to get out. The PFAS, the forever chemicals, and some of the pesticides are...
pretty difficult to get out. Yeah, my two highest are bisphenol A, so BPA, and then triclosan, which is an antibiotic. Correct. Yep. But other than that, so really what that shows me is it's really probably more plastics. Plastics are environmental because they're phenol, but... They're in the category all to themselves because they have all sorts of – to the size that they degrade and what they give off when they degrade. You know, plastics – Yeah, it's hard to avoid.
It's hard to avoid these plastics altogether because I try my best. But, you know, I'm a little bit skeptical of maybe my espresso machine that perhaps. That is running through plastic, right? And maybe disphenolates. And you're putting hot water through plastic, which is the worst. Right, right. And that's probably what's going on. In general, I always drink out of stainless steel or glass.
And so I'm not intentionally doing much with plastic, but to some degree indirectly or where I can't see it, I'm being exposed to it. Right. But again, on the environmental and especially the pesticides, the parabens and the other markers, you're registering really well. I'll go to the next slide.
This one here? This part gets a little worrisome because there's the pesticides, and you're lighting up the pesticides pretty well. And those are one of the high toxicants. Remember, mold, plastic, PFAs, and pesticides. are what we consider to be the high toxicants. If you're going to get a toxin, those aren't the ones you want to get. And pesticides, amazingly, it's everywhere. It's not just on your food anymore. We know that people...
who live within a mile of a golf course, have a 300% increase in Parkinson's. And it's related to the pesticides that we're using. And people who live in farmland have a lot. And it's also on the food. But interestingly enough, something I learned from my environmental toxicologist.
You wash your food, you buy good food, but the majority of the pesticides people get is when they walk through the yard, walk through a field, and they walk into the house with their shoes on, and that's bringing the pesticides into the house. Key point. Leave your shoes at the back door always. Yeah, that's interesting. I like to do barefoot walks too. And although we don't spray our yard. Now you're putting your feet right on the pesticides. Well, we don't spray our yard.
and I'll do barefoot there. I wish I could tell you that that would be okay, but the fact is it's kind of like the organic vegetables. They were grown organically without pesticides, but the neighbors sprayed their field with pesticides and it all drifts everywhere. Sure. Yeah, exactly. And I'll do walks around my neighborhood and...
All my neighbors use pesticides, or pretty much most of them. The phthalates here, which is the way that you soften plastic, is also very low. So that's another edge up on... The fact that you might not have a lot of microplastics, but putting hot water through plastic would certainly increase your BPA without necessarily increasing it. Yeah, I'm getting that BPA.
And another one, volatile chemicals. So you don't have a lot of the automobile combustion fumes around you, which is great. Or you have a really great HEPA filter in your house, which everybody should have as well. We do have good, yeah, we have air filtration throughout our house. So that's helpful. Remember everybody, if you got an air filtration center filter, you got to replace them. I mean, you just can't leave. I mean.
Frequently. Most companies say every three months. I recommend people consider doing it every two months because they start losing their effectiveness when they get full, depending on how many toxins are floating around. A vast majority of toxins get in through the skin and our respiratory tract. Right. Yep. So breathing them in, putting them on our skin, or if we're showering in unfiltered water. Absolutely. Was that...
Are we up to anything else on this? Just the last one, which are the forever chemicals. And you had a couple of them. I think this is, is that the PFOA? That's Teflon. Yeah, PFBA, I see. Yeah, that's, isn't that PFOA? PFOA, I do see PFOA, yep. Yeah, PFOA is Teflon. And so those are the non-stick pants. Okay, maybe eating at a restaurant or something. No, we don't have those.
Yeah. So, you know, and the PFAs come on everything that's anti-grease, anti-water. So microwave bags on the inside. They're now putting it, I mean, PFAs are also inside soda cans. also to keep things from sticking to the inside, the sugar from sticking to the inside of a can. So cans aren't safe to use either when you're trying to use PFAs. But they come also in pizza boxes.
Anything that's styrofoam, anything that's like any paper bag that doesn't absorb grease, they're all PFAs, galoshes, boots, jeans, all these things. For women, probably the biggest source of PFAs is the cosmetics. Yeah. Gosh, so I'm being exposed to a lot of this stuff here. Well, like I said...
I don't think it's going to be as bad as you think. I just wanted to go over this one with you. It demonstrated a very important point for patients that they needed to see, which is if your urine is too diluted or too thick.
¶ Plasma Exchange and Detox Strategies
It shifts these numbers to varying around. We'll send you another kit. We'll have that get done, and we'll compare that. That'll be a good follow-up, because then we'll get a better idea of actually where you are. Yeah, for sure. Well, you know, based on these results, I'm definitely interested in getting plasma exchange. And really all of us should be should be highly interested in getting this.
This is really revolutionizing, and I'll put it on this for those of you guys who are watching the video. This is the website right here, MD Lifespan Plasma Exchange, just like Dr. Savage talked about early on here. You know, this is a revolutionary therapy for actually pulling these toxins out. And of course, we recommend a lot of things like using our sauna. Infrared sauna, obviously, can be amazing.
drinking lots of water, making sure you're peeing and pooping and sweating and breathing out these toxins as much as you can. Clearly, of course, I've got to redo this test, but I'm somebody that's very health conscious. I'm real conscious about what I'm putting in my body. I'm practicing regular daily detox strategies on a regular basis. And yet, I still have...
a higher toxic load. So anyways, the plasma exchange can be powerful. And you guys have seen people with all different types of conditions come in with this. We have patients come see us who... just want to live longer and they believe that getting the toxins out is a good way to help augment
a longevity. And I think there's a lot of research that says the fewer toxins you have, the longer you're going to live because we certainly know toxins cause everything bad from cancer to Alzheimer's and neurodegenerative disease to heart disease. We have other people come to see us who want to get pregnant, but they don't want to.
transmit the toxins to their baby. We've been able to show that marked reduction in the toxin load of women. We have people who have autoimmune issues, people, what we call the immunity patients, like chronic Lyme, chronic mold, who can't get better. We have the hypersensitive patients that everything they react to because their immune system is so toxic that it's reacting to everything.
We have patients with cognitive issues, especially, you know, there's been a number of studies that have been done on patients with Alzheimer's, early mild Alzheimer's, and the effect of plasma exchange on improving those patients. We've seen the same thing when we've used our protocols with people with early cognitive issues. Now, it can't fix everything. Patients who have cancer, this isn't going to eradicate their cancer, but they may want to do it after their cancer has been...
determined to be free of cancer to make sure they don't get another cancer again by helping eliminate some of the toxins. You know, you and I both have patients come to us all the time who they had the cancer scare and now they want to clean up their life, which is great. I mean, whatever gets you to come to the table.
It gets you to come to table. But this is one of the things that they may consider because if you've had cancer once, you have a higher probability of having again. And I think that has a lot to do with the level of toxicity.
¶ MD Lifespan Clinics and Services
Anything that's a chronic inflammatory disease is made worse by, if it's not caused by, the toxins itself. Yeah. So guys, check out mdlifespan.com. And it's mdlifespan.com forward slash plasma exchange if you want to read more about plasma exchange. But mdlifespan.com is the main website where people can find information. You guys have clinics.
all around the United States, nine different locations at the time that we're talking, but you've got, I think you said 18 more opening up here soon. 25. Coming up within the next 12 months. That's right. Yeah, that's kind of proof of concept right there because you're seeing that people are getting great results. There's more consumer demand now for it. And so you're opening up clinics.
The goal is, I'm sure, every major city in America. And so trying to hit all the major regional areas. One of the things I'd like to let your listeners know is you can sign up for an evaluation. There's no charge for that. You can buy a toxin test from our website, and one of our clinical healthcares will interpret it with you. There's no charge for that.
For the test, yes, but not for the service of the clinician to read these things to you. We have people go through the whole evaluation phase. The only time that we charge a patient is if they choose to move forward with plasma exchange. So we just want to be of service to people because that's... Part of the mission statement of MD Lifespan is to make sure we increase the awareness of the existential threat that toxins are to you, your family, and your health. Yeah, that's so good.
Well, Dr. Paul Savage, you're doing awesome work. Guys, again, check out mdlifespan.com to learn more about this. And we'll be doing another, probably several more.
