8. Getting Whole or Getting Right

Religion places inordinate emphasis on getting right. It presents the idea that God cannot and will not love and accept you until you “get right.” Then they provide their own personal list of what it will take to get right with God. God the loving Father, on the other hand, sent Jesus so we could get whole. Everything God desires to do in your life emerges from wholeness.
