Now coming up a little bit later in the hour, we're going to be joined by a researcher doctor, who is going to deliver a message that I think is vitally important for all people to hear, all human beings, because we all produce a gas inside of our blood vessels that dilates our blood vessels and allows the circulation of the human body to a cur But as we age, that gas, called nitric oxide, starts to go down, and it moves
down precipitously, and all these health problems start to come at us. Heart issues, circulation problems, memory problems. The list goes on and on, immune system problems, all tied into the loss of this vitally important internal nitric oxide gas that we make in the endothelium inside the blood vessel walls when we're young, and it starts to decrease as we age. Doctor Nathan Bryan is going to be joining us to discuss this topic we all need to learn more

Growing up in the Midwest, it was one of my favorite foods. I woke up and I could smell the bacon downstairs. Mom was just cooking up, frying up the bacon on the stove, and I couldn't wait to get down there to woof a whole lot of bacon strips down. That's just what you did, and I still do this day. Remember
that. But I don't eat bacon any longer. And if I do, it will be turkey bacon. And if I do, it will be organic turkey bacon. But this article may be of interest to you. Bacon, a very popular, maybe one of the most popular breakfast foods, raises your risk of type two diabetes, which is on the rise in the United States. It's epidemic. Really, there's over one hundred million people who now have
either pre diabetes, the condition that precedes type two diabetes diagnosed. And we're talking about over one hundred million people and each serving eating just two servings of red meat a week. And again, I'm here not to try to talk you out of your red meat. That a lot of people enjoy their red meat. But I am here to tell you about this new finding out of Harvard University, the connection between eating bacon and driving up your risk of a
disease. You never ever want to have. Now, you might say to yourself, well, I know a lot of Type two diabetics that are doing fine. And that's true. You can manage a diabetes, but why have it in the first place. It can be reversed. But now scientists are trying to point out that consuming red meat, and in this case we're focusing in on bacon, they're saying there's a risk factor. Harvard University researchers examined
the eating habits and diabetic rates for two hundred thousand people. Talk about a huge look study and advised people to limit or avoid red meat, or at least limit red meat to one serving per week once a week. I mean, there are people I know and I growing up in the Midwest. I'll tell you we had red meat three times a day. Bacon in the morning, hamburgers at lunch, and some type of steak or something at night.
It was three times, you know. And of course looking back in the rear view mirror, it makes sense because everybody that in eyesight was obese or headgall lighter problems, or had heart disease and diet ety young age, and it just the list goes on and on. A typical seventy grams serving of red meat is equivalent to about two thick strips of bacon or about one and
a half sausages lying on your plate. Now, these findings out of Harvard University linking bacon and red meat usage ratcheting up your risk of type two diabetes is real, and they're suggesting that eating just two typical bacon sandwiches or one
steak per week raises the risk of type two diabetes. Scientists claim, however, that swapping one serving red meat for another protein source, and here's the payoff for another protein source, because the meat industry has done a very very good job at brainwashing Americans to believe that unless you're eating red meat, you're going to be so protein starved you'll die and you'll be ugly until you die. But folks, look, there's protein in every virtually everything you eat.
And they, of course these scientists now out of Harvard who are now raising the alarm about the connection between bacon consumption and type two diabetes, which you never ever want to have because it's just a brutal disease, especially when it's not managed or reversed in time. We know that sugar in the bloodstream.
It just tears you up. It damage your kidneys, You could end up on dalysis, heart disease, increases, stroke and blood pressure, and just you know, wounds on your body, sores that don't heal, neurobity, borophal neurobity, the list goes on and on. You don't want diabetes, so maybe you want to take a look at changing up your meat eating habits. developing type two diabetes by a wopping thirty percent. That's massive, massive, And if you take it to the next stage, you'll say you do some exercise, because you're not exercising currently, and that's key to diabetes as well. Type two diabetes. People who exercise are less likely to get type two diabetes. People who are watching their weight and watching their calories and watching what they put in their piehole are also less likely to get type two diabetes.

And I know you're flying all over the world discussing nitric oxide, its value, the background behind it, how important it is to the human body. But what really caught my attention recently, and I asked you to be a guest on the show, was a chart that I came across, I think was on social
media. Robert Lufkin, who's a medical doctor. I think he was the one who generated this or at least posted it where it showed on this chart chart, which fascinated me, Doctor Bryan, because I'm board certified in anti aging medicine through a four M. It fascinated me to see that human beings at up to age twenty, we make about one hundred percent of the nitric oxide we need to feel function to perform optimally, and then as we get
to our thirties, it goes down to eighty percent of our nitric oxide levels. Forties, it goes down to fifties, fifties, when we're in our fifties, ag down to the thirty five. And then I'm I'm I'm now starting to choke because I'm over the age of sixty and I understand that it's down to fifteen percent of our nitrocoxide levels that we've produced when we were aged
