an effect on blood pressure. The information I'm about to present regarding chocolate being an anti hypertensive food source is courtesy of none other than doctor Joel Kahn, MD, who is a clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and one of the world's top cardiologists, a best selling author, lecture, and leading expert in plant based nutrition and holistic healthcare. Does anyone that taste does anyone not like the taste of chocolate? I mean, I don't

Off my list, of course, it's pepperoni, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, and French fries, which I used to owe d on big time. Oh d on those. Oh yeah, all of which I ate lots
of them fifty plus years ago. Well, the good news is that a new analysis in a prominent healthcare journal has confirmed the cardiovascular disease benefits of consuming dark chocolate dark chocolette. Now I suggest you choose. If you're going to eat chocolate, and many of you will, there's no keeping you away from
it because you enjoy it, that's fine. But if you do choose to go to the grocery store and get chocolate, please get a high percentage of cacaw c co co high percentage of cocow seventy percent minimum or higher if you're going to consume it at all. It's a healthier The higher you can consume the cacow percentage, the healthier it's going to be. And the higher it gets, by the way, the more bitter it's going to be. So
just so you know, the problem with chocolate is not chocolate. It's usually what they put with it, and that is the sugar and the other stuff that goes with it that adulterates it and makes it much worse for you. So keep that in mind. There are healthy chocolates. You need to find them in health food stores like natural grocers. They have them. Go look for them, find them. of cardiovascular disease, a medallion randomized study was conducted. The researchers obtained some relevel data on dark chocolate intake and cardiovascular disease from publicly available genome wide association studies. They found that dark chocolate consuming dark chocolate intake was significantly associated with a twenty seven percent reduction in the risk of essential hypertension, a very common
form of high blood pressure or hypertension. Twenty seven percent reduction of essential hypertension wow, as well as with a suggestive association with reduced risk of venus thromboembolism by thirty one percent. That's a lot. I mean, most drugs can't even do that. The study provides evidence for a casualty between dark chocolate intake and the reduction of these kinds of problems. And so I'm not here to
promote chocolate, but I'm giving you advice. In fact that evident this indicates that the flabonols present in dark chocolate can improve what is called endothelial function, promote vasodilation, and prevent platelet aggregation by increasing Here it is, here it comes. Don't blood each time for the Hill outrage because it's nothing, but it is really outrageous, but we got to get this information out. Lawsuit accuses a Chicago medical doctor of abusing more than three hundred
women over decades. Where was the medical board outrage? Where was the hospital board outrage? A lawsuit against two top Chicago hospitals accuses a medical doctor OBGYN specialist of sexually abusing more than three hundred women, most of them Latina and
Spanish speakers, and alleges that the hospitals ignored the women's complaints. The complaint is the largest is the latest chapter in the legal saga against Fabio Ortega, MD, who pleaded guilty in twenty twenty one to sexually abusing two patients.
This suit, filed on behalf of one woman, alleged's staff members at north Shore Medical Group and Swedish Covenant Hospital, now both operated by Endeavor Health, concealed complaints about the former doctor's behavior for years and years leading up to his conviction and knowingly gave him a platform to sexually abuse hundreds of patients. Women reported they reported again and again and again, attorney Simone Shinton said in a
news conference announcing the lawsuit. This lawyer said, and I quote, they were told to question their very experiences as women. They were told that the very abuse that they complained about was medically necessary and normal. Believe it or
not. Close quote. How outrageous is that the suit filed in Kokautie Circuit Court on behalf of the women and identified only a Jane Doe three hundred as in three hundred women at least described the alleged experiences of several unnamed patients dating back to nineteen eighty nine, saying Ortega this MD, performed unnecessary public exams
and asked patients intrusive questions about their sex life. In the case Jane Doe three hundred, who the suit stated saw Ortega twice in twenty seventeen when she was twenty two and pregnant, Ortega apparently assaulted her at that point. She
was one of Ortega's last patients before he was arrested. According to the complaint, when Jane Doe three hundred's husband asked why they were getting a new doctor in the middle of pregnancy, the North Shore Hospitals employees repeatedly told them the doctor was simply unavailable, according to the suit, This doctor, Otega, MD, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing
two patients out of the three hundred. He has since been released. Endeavor Health declined to comment on pending litigation of specific allegations, but said its hospital have absolutely no tolerance for abuse of any kind. The representative of the law firm supporting this stated that while this first suit is filed on behalf of only
one woman, three hundred alleged victims still exist. The outraged ladies and gentlemen behind this is the medical Board. Where were they three hundred patients over this period of time, decades abusing women, allowing this MD to function within a practice, and where are the hospitals? This is so outrageous it raises my blood pressure. And that's why it's the health outrage of the week. I've
