Hello, thank you doctor Bob, and thank you for your wonderful show. We got through the entire We got through the entire COVID pandemic, wondering should we vacs, shouldn't we vacs?
And we got through the whole thing with your natural suggestions, and my family's healthy because of it, and we don't have any of these vaccine nightmares. But my question today for you, sir, is I am sixty three. At around age fifty, I was getting a regular every three months a urinary
tract infections followed by a PSA test that showed four point six. It wasn't for till seven years later, and taking Flowmax and other medications that I read something about deep urinary tract infections burrowing themselves deep in your digestive track, hiding from antibiotics that usually give you a temporary relief. So I started taking apple cider vinegar with the mother because I understood it would kill bacteria hard to reach
for the antibiotics. And seven years later I started that routine and I think it was six months after that my PSA went down to two point five. And my question is urinary track infections that are persistent and lingering give a bad PSA reading. Yes, they do because your body naturally creates an inflammatory process when you have a urinary track infection when there's a bacteria that's attacking the bladder wall, and usually it's seventy percent of the time eighty percent maybe E.
Coli. So you have to real and you can have a PSA. However, go up if you exercise within twenty four hours or you have sex within twenty four hours of having a PSA tested. So any kind of activity that stresses or strains the region that the prostate is in the lower of Donald hillaria can cause the PSA to a test at a higher level. And some people even question the validity of PSAs, by the way, just so you know, and I also question it, but there is a more accurate way to
measure prostate health. In my opinion. That's through snography an ultrasound of the prostate to get a baseline that shows you the size of the prostate, the shape of the prostate. And if then you get a baseline, you know where it's at. One it's healthy. When there's trouble or you decide okay, well I'm gonna have another one, you go in and have another one,
you compare it. I have done this over the years with men who have had PSA readings all over the board and they couldn't decide what it was and they didn't want to go in for other invasive tests, so they had ultrasounds instead and that works. So the answer is yes, having urinary track infection could absolutely raise because it's inflammatory. Every body moves into an inflammatory or stage to try to attack the invading tissue, but it also impacts the prostate
tissue itself. So the answer is yes, having a urinary trac infection will do it. Now. Apple cide of vinegar is great for a lot of things. We often use. Also, something called demano demanos is the element that you've heard about in for years. It's been old treatment for urinary tract infections in general. Through cranberry. That's the actual ingredient in cranberry that works.
It's just that when you're trying to drink cranberry juice, usually people won't drink it if it's tart, because that's the way you should take it. They usually are drinking ocean spray, which is nothing but just sugar water. And so it's best if you have a urinary track infection to increase water, decreased dairy, decreased red meat, get off the sugar, the alcohol,
and this too shall pass. If you go to the health food store and pick up some powdered demanos and you just stir that into water and drink it. It creates what is called an anti adherence factor, which means that as the E. Coli, which is usually the invading infection organism, doesn't have a chance to cling onto and stay in the urinary track long enough to breed its little family and expand, and it washes it out because it looks at it and it takes it out. So demanos works very well for that.
There are other things that can be found in health food stores and sometimes, unfortunately, depending on the health of the person, they may have to take an antibiotic if they're so bad off. But I've had great results of demanos I've had great results with using large amounts of garlic which has sulfur in it, which works really well. Hot baz work, sits baths work very well. So there's a lot of ways to manage urinary track infections to clear them up and therefore allow PSA testing if that's what you want to do to be more accurate. I have a family member that had her gallbladder taken out, and when anytimes she eats anything, she's got a lot of cain in her stomach. And I do need us that she eats a lot of salt. But I remember hearing you talk about that a few months back. Some kind of salt substitute you can take for that. Could you please give me to nak up? Yeah, it's not actually the same salt. These are tissue salts called plasma

Hello, good Hello doctor Bob. I have what they call barretts. Yes,
something to be a r etts. I believe it's health is built yeah, Barret's esophagus. Yes, yes, And I take P A N T O P R A C O L one a day and I just hate taken tills. But they said I should take it to prevent cancer. So what can you tell me about that? Okay? I understand the rationale because if there's excessive acid, that's refluxing up into your esophagus, which is what Barrett's esophagitis is about. It can erode and create a chronic inflammatory response and change
the cells of the esophagus. The esophagus should not experience acid of the stomach up there. It's moving into an area it shouldn't be. But most of these barrets US problems are caused by what are referred to as diaformatic or heidal hernias, which are not treated well in a conventional medical setting, even though they can be completely cured now they have you taking a acid blocking drug. with her esophagus problem. Now, appropriately, she's being treated symptomatically with an acid blocking drug, and that's fine, But that's frosting on burnt cake. It is painting over termites. It's not really getting to the reason why she has her problem. It's not a deficiency of anti of drugs that block the stomach from producing acid, which it's supposed to do. Our stomach is supposed
to produce acid. It's how we protect ourselves from bugs, germs that we come in contact with every single day in our food, water, air, and that's how we are sterilizing everything. It's with stomach acid. It's how we take a steak. If you eat a steak, whether it's a t bone steak or a salmon stake, and turn it into soup, that acid breaks it all down. Stretch that stomach down out of the esophagus so it's repositioned so you don't regurgitate and reflects that acid. And then don't eat on a full stomach, or don't lie down on a full stomach.
Wait at least three hours after eating before you lie down. That's how this happened, it's how it probably occurred. Very good information. Thank you so much. You're very welcome. Thank you for your call, because so many people, Irene have this very problem and they go Okay, so I got Barret's esophagitis. Oh yeah, and then they carry that around almost like a badge of honor. Oh finally I've got some explanation as to why I
developed an anti acid deficiency. Why I need that prevace said or that nexium or whatever does your drug is on the market, Why I need it? I have such a deficiency in this drug. No, you don't have a drug deficiency. You have a functional problem. And until the functional problem is removed and corrected, yes, your body's going to punish you with excessive acid
in yoursophagus or some other symptom. That's what symptoms are for. To warn you and to take an anti acid drug without getting into or exploring and investigating why the acid is there is the equivalent of taking a hammer out of your glove box in your car or out of the console and smashing the lights that are telling you you need oil and water. You're just ignoring them, and you're just shutting down the light because you don't like it. That's a disaster
waiting to happen. And so is a person in her age bracket taking an anti acid drug which interferes with her assimilation of minerals and protein and foods she
needs because acid, ladies and gentlemen in the stomach is important. It's not important as it relates to regigitating it into the esophagus, but it's a temporary fix of what is going on and what her doctor really should have done, in my opinions, referred her to a chiropractor who's trained and applied kinesiology, or anybody who knows how to stretch the stomach down out of the lower esophageal sphincter which it's caught up through and stuck can't get down on its own.

The website, however, is spelled out. You got to spell out the word doctor d octoarbob dot com. One common mistake that may disrupt your sleep for hours many people don't consider or think about. One of them, of course, is late night caffeine or even midnight feasts. They can also
disrupt your sleep. I think caffeine can disrupt people. And as you get older, because our livers get tired and they just quit breaking down drugs like caffeine as well and as efficiently as they did when we were in our twenties, thirties and forties or younger, so they longer you use caffeine. As you get older, sometimes that starts to disrupt your sleep and you don't even realize it. You go, well, I only have a cup of day. How could I've been doing it for forty years? How is that now
affecting me? Well, it affects you because you don't break the caffeine down and metabolize it. Therefore, your nervous system is stimulated all the way eighteen hours later. Also, here's another thing that can disrupt your sleep, and most young people don't realize this. Posting on social media shortly before you go to bed can delay the time it takes for people to fall asleep buy up
to three hours. That according to a study by Duke University, the researchers on fifty one thousand people found that those who posted on social media within an hour of their bedtime, let's say your bedtime. You're always trying to get to bed by ten o'clock. If you're posting at nine or leading up to that bedtime, you were twice as likely to stay up late because of the
fact that you're looking right into a device that is waking you up. As your melatonin is trying to kick in and bring you down into a sleep pattern, you are waking it up. Like bright sunlight getting into your eye with the blue colors and all the colors that are coming off of your cell phone or your laptop or your tablet or whatever. Electronic devices that shine light wake
you up, and some people more sensitive to that than others. Those who posted several times shortly before bed were also more likely to still be awake late into the night than those who posted just once. It is thought that getting likes and comments causes an adrenaline rush that blocks normal sleep hormone activity. Blue
light exposure from our phones is also known to disrupt sleep cycles. So if you have young children who are having a hard time getting up in the morning, shut down their activity with their cell phones at night, won't you please? Otherwise they're going to be wanting caffeine just like you wanted first thing in the morning. Doctor William Myerson, a data scientist, who led the research, commented saying and I quote this could be a result of several factors.
The screen lights are disrupting the circadian rhythm to the anticipation of a response. So here we have a way to better understand why some people are sleeping. It's not maybe a sleeping pill you need, or some drug you need tile at all PM, or whatever you're going to do to zap your body, but rather your behavior. We'll finish up after this. Now, the last segment, I was talking about how there's a lot of common mistakes that people make that disrupt their sleep, and some of that has to do with posting on the internet, having the blue light exposure off your phone late at night, eating late at night, using caffeine anytime during the day. And part of this study that I referred to is out
of Reddit, which is a social news website. Forum users are more likely to stay up past their bedtime and post on nights when they posted an hour
before bedtime, especially if they were active on high engagement forums. The study that they looked at, which was published by the Way in the journals Sleep Medicine, researchers looked at over fifty one thousand people who used Reddit the website and they looked at two hundred and thirty six million posts put up there by users between the year two thousand and five and two twenty one, and the scientists used a model to estimate the users bedtime based on one time stamps that
of their Reddit posts, and they then analyze the data from when the users posted within an hour of their average bedtime compared to the nights when their post was much earlier to find out whether their bedtime was delayed. And sure enough, the results showed that on the nights when the users first posted early in the evening, only about six percent we're still posting after their estimated bedtime. The data also showed that when users put up one post late in the evening
ten percent we're still posting after their bedtime. But when they put up four or more posts to their Reddit thing and this could be any way that you text or post on the internet on yourself phone or your tablet or whatever. Those late posters. The more you post up and the more of that blue light shines into your eyes twenty three percent we're still posting after they normally would have a fallen asleep at a normal decent time. Just by blue light hitting
your brain via your retina's, the more sleep disordered you are. So if you're wondering why you're not sleeping well lately, you might want to put that cell phone down hours before you go to bed and not right up until you go to bed, because it'll interfewer you're asleep.
