The most common type of heart disease is coronary heart disease HD, which is said to kill an estimated three almost three hundred and seventy six thousand people each year by itself.
Coronary heart disease is caused by athlorosclerosis. The topic where you are on right now, the build up a plaque inside the lining of the large coronary arteries that supplies oxygen rich blood to the heart. Right here we go. Here, here's the list of lifestyle changes that can help keep your heart and blood vessels healthy. Since we know that heart disease is the number two killer behind medical miscare number one.
Exercise on a regular basis. Be more physically active. Everybody knows about that. We need to get more of it. It's so important to do that. You could be on the best die and the best supplements and the best mental attitude you can. If you're not exercising, you're missing the bout. So start slow, build up. Find something you enjoy, something you can stick with that becomes a behavior. I personally like to exercise outdoors I do. I love to
hike steep mountains. That's my deal. You can find yours. Just get moving. Next, get enough quality sleep. Sleep is so important. Make sure that bedroom there's no light coming into that bedroom, the bedroom is nice and cool, there's no sound, you don't have a TV rollin or a radio roll and no good Your brain will try to figure all that out and keep you awake. So get some quality sleep at least seven eight hours of sleep per night. Next, if you're smoking, please quit. Your relatives
will appreciate that you being around longer. Avoid exposure to secondhand smoke too. Don't be in the same room as a choker. Manage your stress levels. We all are under certain levels of stress in life. Let's face it. You just got to figure out a way to manage it. If it's excessive, try to find ways to rebuke it, counteract it. There are ways to do that, biofeedback, exercise, sex, There's all kinds of ways to reduce stress, positive mental thinking.
I mean, there's prey, koga, whatever it may be. Find that stress reducer and utilize it on a regular basis. Next, eat a well balanced diet. I'm a big fan of the Mediterranean style diet. These other extremes of keto on one end and extreme veganism on the other end. Some people do really well with those, and they're applicable many times,
and you can't you can't complain about results. But long term, long term Mediterranean dial and Mediterranean diet it's easier to stay on, to comply to, and I think it just it just continues to show a wider array of people advantage themselves by eating a more Mediterranean style diet. It's the diet I eat and it served me well. But again you can there's all nuances on either end, depending
on the person, depending on their activity and their needs. Next, make sure that you're taking nutritional supplements to fill in for the nutrients that you may be missing in your diet. We can't all eat completely raw food twenty. You know, when we're awake, we're going to get into some processed foods, and some of us from time to time eat ultra processed foods. You should stay away from them as much as you can because they're nutrient devoid and they're not
as good for you as whole foods. But that's what nutritional supplements are about. That's why it's important to take nutritional supplements to fill in the gaps where you're otherwise not able to get those through the food that you're eating. Maybe it's your schedule, maybe it's the taste or some other limitation. Just make sure that you have a good supplement regimen. I come morning, doctor Baumer named iss Sunday, and I'm in Texas and I've asked question a couple of times about my husband and he can't see eye drops, and I've parach a program the last two weeks and I haven't heard a response.
