Ladies and gentlemen. Stick around for the entire of the hour. I've got a special guest coming up who's going to tackle the topic of toxins, things that we come in contact with every single day, thousands of toxins in our
food, our air, our water, cosmetics, you name it. Ran into an interesting article that prompted me to invite Clayton Thomas back on the air to discuss it, and that is that a study just came out showing that the average America consumes the equivalent in microplastics of a credit card worth of microplastics every single week. That's what they determined in this medical study. And you might be saying, well, no big deal, a little bit of plastics
not going to hurt you. It's like eating a credit card each week. The problem with. It is not just the plastics, it's the toxins that are in the plastics that you're coming in contact with, heavy metal toxins which will derail your immune system, your fertility, and so many things. And we'll get into that coming up. Do not miss that conversation. But I thought i'd start out with the kind of a continuation of last hour talking about
weight. This new fad drug people are using the Hollywood focus on weight control and weight loss, oh Zempick in the news. Again. We've talked about this drug extensively here on this radio show. It's a very dangerous druck, but so is being overweight. I guess there's an argument for that, but
it's all about benefit versus risks right. In fact, the death of Lisa Marie Presley back in January this year, the autopsy results are in and oh zempick may have been involved in her death, or at least a part of it. We'll get to that in a moment. But oh zempick, an injectable drug that was originally designed to help people die, beats being used for weight loss because it inhibits a person's appetite, slows down the digestive process.
You don't even move the food along through the digestives, and it just sits there and you feel full. But there's so many side effects of this drug, the latest of which has to do with suicide and suicidality, the thought of taking one's own life. Concerns are growing among doctors here in the US and in Europe that O Sempic and similar weight loss drugs may be linked to
suicide. European regulators this week opened an investigation after patients in Ireland reported suicidal thoughts or thoughts of health harm and now now with emphasis on why did it take so long? The Food and Administration says it has received get this, at least sixty reports of suicidal thoughts among patients taking the weight loss drug or its sister drug, Wagavy. Now, if it receives sixty reports, you
can just about multiply that by ten that people aren't reporting it. FDA always looking out for big pharma, who provides about fifty percent of their funding each year and often cushy, high paying jobs. When doctors at the FDA leave their governmental jobs and work for big pharma companies. If you don't think that is a good old boys club, you are as naive as they come. Now, it's feared that many of many other cases of suicidality and outrights suicide
are of course, and suicidal thoughts are not reported. You think the FDA sat on this until they were forced to divulge what they've what's been happening here with this drug because the end, after all, they were the ones that approved ozempic, but they had proved it for diabetes. But it's going off schedule. Now they're just turning their turning the other way and saying, oh, well, okay, so you injected and people are losing weights, what's
the big deal. Well, we've talked about it on this show. There's so many side effects of osimpic. Here's another one, killing yourself or having thoughts of killing yourself? Why on the drug? While being on the drug? Now? The Reddit group for people taking the drug shows how dozens of patients have suffered from depression from taking ozembic and drugs like it after taking up the weekly injections, saying they feel hollow inside and as though rarely anything makes
them happy while they're on the drug. One of the more chilling posts came from an ozempic user in Canada, saying which read and I quote. I never understood why anyone would commit suicide. Now I understand since I'm taking ozempic. I'm on my third week not injecting, but now I can still feel the side effects after three weeks of discontinuing this injectable drug for weight loss. Users have also taken to TikTok to warn others about the weight loss drugs,
saying they were left struggling with low mood and anxiety. One user of its sister drug, which is basically it works the same way, called Wagavie, said it put their anxiety on a level of a thousand percent. Another user of Ozembic admits that suicidal thoughts maybe a side effect. Well, actually, the drug maker Nova nors Dick or nors Dick Nova nos Disc, who makes Ozembic, admitted suicidal thoughts maybe a side effect of the medication and says patients
should be monitored and taken off the drug if this occurs. Well, how are you going to know if somebody just blows their head off because they're on this drug. Doctors they're not sure, they're not sure how the drug interacts with mood, but theories suggest it may be linked to low blood sugar sparking sparked by lack of eating, which can raise levels of stress hormone cortisol, increasing anxiety and it just becomes a snowballing effect from there. So this is
very problematic. This drug. It may be a may have been involved in the death of Maria Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. She died back in January, age fifty four, from cardiac arrest. And she had previously had weight loss surgery earlier and was, you know, as a lot of these Hollywood elites are, was heavily drugged up. She was in a lot of pain, apparently was on oxy code ome but and she was taking on top of that an anti psychotic drug. We're talking
about Lisa Marie Presley here. Now they just got in the autopsy results and they found that her cause of death was in part due to her intestines becoming trapped an intestinal obstruction from a previous weight loss surgery. So people think, well, you know, if I it too overweight, I'll just go in and have it and I'll have some work done. I'll have my digestive system replumbed. I'll have a stomach staple, or I'll have a stomach bypass surgery
done. Well. Guess what When you cut into the digestive system, scar tissue happens. And when you try to cut some of the stomach out and reconnected to the small intestine, keyloids, keyloids or scar tissue happens. And they're believing that it was her weight loss surgery that eventually scarred up. But
guess what she was also taking. They believe ozempic, the Hollywood blockbuster drug ozembic, may have been partly responsible for Lisa Marie Presley's death back in January, according to the LA Coroners Report, along with a whole a bunch of other lists of possibilities. All right, we're going to turn our attention to an article to caught my attention about a week or so ago, and it goes like this. You may have seen this average person inhales the equivalent of a credit cards worth of microplastics every single week in the United States, the studies suggest, raising the risk of a host of health concerns, including everything
from cancer to infertility. Wow, well think about that. I mean, if you, if you want to get some person spect of just you know, take one of your credit cards out of your walled out of your purse and just look at the size of it, put it in your hand, move it around, and realize that you may be inhaling one of those credit cards in terms of the amount of plastic and that credit card each and every week. And you might be saying, well, a little plastic done.
It knows in goes out. That might be true, but what may not be going in and out of your body is the heavy metals that are associated with that plastic. Can you say mercury, led cadmium, arsenic, and aluminum. So when I saw that article, I immediately thought of Clayton Thomas, and we'll introduce you to him and momentarily, but it has been estimated that an average adult takes about twelve to twenty breasts per minute, and that can mean, you know, over twenty one thousand breasts every day for an

And I asked Clayton to come on the program today to discuss this
with us. Let's get back to him, Clayton, Let's begin with the topic on this segment of the show. Explain what micro plastics are and why they should be a concern to my listeners. Well, it ties into what you were just hitting on, which is which is kind of terrible, you know, as far as the face mask effect. You know, so my
microplastics are formed in a couple of different aspects. You've got the production of different plastics, and you basically have the dust and the fallout from you know, plastic different plastic bottles, but the production but also the breakdown of these plastics in food. You know, if you have foods that are stored in plastic bottles, if if you have you know, the production of these some of the as they as they break down in the environment. The small pieces,
very very very small pieces we're talking on like micro and nano. We'll get into the air and you can you can inhale them. The other component that is not I haven't seen it talked about readily, right, and you know that the media will will address one single component to kind of deflect from another area. And this is more prevalent in your neck of the woods, but it affects the entire globe because of because of our landscape, the Great Pacific Gyre, and if you've never heard of it, you know, for
your audience, you want to get freaked out a little bit. Look this up gy r E, which is a new continent basically that's been developed by plastics that are in the Pacific Ocean because of the tides of all all basically created a massive continent northwest of where you are. It's like a big plastic bog, is what it's like. Yes, it's it is the size of a continent. So you have you have these plastics that are not just getting into the air, but they're getting into the ocean as they as the water
breaks them down. It's fish try to feed on them accidentally because they're creating a really a really bad version of an artificial reef that the Pacific Ocean, and you can you can look towards the Atlantic Ocean as well, coming off the coast of Africa and Bangladesh that they have these same issues that it's what we're breathing in, it's what we're consuming if you're eating fish, and there's been research done on this that fish are loaded with these same plastics and when
we're consuming them, or they're going up the food chain. Because the smaller fish get get polluted, the larger fish eat, then we eat the largest fish. You have this amalgamation of toxicity that just continues. And it's the it's the hard part to look at because this is not something we can change soon, quickly, or maybe at all. It's been done, and we
talked before about these forever chemicals. This is not going to change. There's there's a long process for us to go through to be able to become effective at environmentally cleaning up these issues. So the most important thing that each of us can do is invest in our greatest asset, and it's not goal. Surprisingly, it happens to be our own body. If you're not making that investment in yourself, you're you're going to be a victim of your environment.
You know I've heard, but I was sorry to interrupt you. I was telling one of my colleagues about microplastics and how we take in the equivalent of a credit card size object in a week, and this doctor that I know is sort of a conventional oriented doctor, he just couldn't wrap his brain around that. I said, well, let me give you a better example, I said, do you ever wonder where all the tires go that are on the on the highway when your tires go from being really full of tread to
no tread and you have to go get new tires. Where do you think all that plastic and petrochemical coming off the rubber off the road? Where do you think that stuff goes? Do you think it could be going in your nasal cavity because it's so small you can't see it and you're breathing it in And he goes, well, yeah, I can understand that one. But microplastics, where else would they come? It's like he just couldn't get it. It was almost like ignorance was blissed as this guy. It was hard
for me to but he got the tires example. But you're making these examples out of the out of the plastics. What kind of health issues do my listeners have to be concerned about when they're taking in all this talks and coming off of whatever source it's coming from all of them, And it's very it's really difficult, and I've I've been studying, you know, this aspect of environmental toxicology heavily and the remediation thereof, so the removal of these toxins for
about eighteen years. I've studied the effects of them for about forty from growing up in a veterinary practice. And it's very difficult for people to understand and accept initially the facts that all of our issues, virtually every one of our health issues, and as you mentioned, from infertility to Alzheimer's and everything in between, all comes from the same cause.
