You know that wildly popular drug that everybody's talking about right now, where people all especially the elite and the movie stars and all these famous people bragging about how much weight they're losing taking the drug ozempic. It's an injectable once a week.
Well, here's the headline, ozembic weight loss drug could be deadly, could have deadly consequences. Fans of the icon movie star Madonna are concerned that her recent medical crisis requiring emergency hospitalization intubation may have been something to do with her having used the super trendy weight loss drug oh zimpic, or perhaps the reason she developed a serious bacterial infection is due to COVID nineteen shots she took and
their associated adverse side effects as in zapping the immune system. What if all these ill advised decisions Madonna and others are making are really the cause of her recent rush with death due to her immune system collapsing. We'll get into that a little bit later in the show, you won't want to go anywhere, especially if you're thinking about, well, I think I've been gonna take this drug too. I've been having a hard time dropping those fifteen twenty five fifty
pounds. This is gonna do it for me. Everybody else is getting results, Why shouldn't I. We'll get into that on the show today. How could an agency whose mission is to protect the integrity of our food supply and drink supply choose to approve a dangerous substance such as an artificial sweetener aspertaine when now the information all over the news of late this popular artificial
sweetener is expected to be declared as a potential cancer risk to humans. This has been out there for fifty years we need to dismantle that FDA. I'm telling you right now it is so bought and paid for. It's incredible. But I digress. We begin this hour before we go back to our phone lines, and if you want to join us with a comment about any of the things that I've said, or you have a personal health concern or question, I'm here for you and I'll do my best to help you out.

Now, For years during my practice career, I can't tell you how many times women would say, yeah, my doctor placed me on hormone replacement therapy because he said or she said that if I take hormone replacement therapy, not only will I feel better and not have hot flashes and low libido and night sweats and drivaginal tissue and all that. I my bones will be stronger, I'll have less risk of heart disease. It'll I'll just be better.
And we learned that. Back in January, there was news out about hormone replacement therapy HRT potentially important in reducing women's risk of dementia. Yeah, the news out there was if you take hormone replacement therapy, which, by the way, this substance called HRT, you know where it comes from. Well, it's made from the urine of pregnant horses and other synthetic artificial substances.
That's where hormone replacement therapy comes from for women. Now, a team of researchers, now this is reported back in January of this year, team of researchers said that there's evidence, potential important evidence that hormone replacement therapy can reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease in women. And they talked about the study and so forth. Of course, you know, I knew something was not right
about that at the time, so of course I discounted it. Now we have the latest update this week, taking hormone replacement therapy for just a year. Remember, when women are placed on this drug, whether it's in their fifties or their sixties or even earlier or later. They're on it for life usually, but taking hormone replacement therapy for just a year maybe may raise the risk of dementia. That's what a shocking study has just come out and said.
Finally, so, taking hormone replacement therapy HRT for as little as a year can raise the risk of Alzheimer's disease, the worst form of dementia. That's what the study is suggesting. Published in the British Medical Journal of all Places. The research was carried out at the University of Copenhagen and Danish Dementia Research Center. Those women who used hormone replacement therapy prescribed by their doctors HRT,
which some doctors hand out like candy. I might add, those women who took this hormone replacement therapy almost twenty five percent more likely to develop dementia or Alzheimer's disease later in life. According to the research involving this was a gigantic study on sixty thousand women. The chances increased the longer women were taking
the drug. Hormone replacement therapy used to treat menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and reduced a sex strife and drive aginal tissue. The subject is controversial, with the scientific community divided over whether HRT
can heighten a person's chances of dementia or improve their brain health. And I remember when this was hot, before they determined that HRT also causes cancer, doctors were telling their patients, Oh, if you don't take it, you'll have osteoporosis, you'll get you just still have a miserable life, so you better take it. And women were duped into taking it, and then they
of course announced that it would increase their risk of cancer. And it kind of died off and it went away, and then they brought it back slowly. The drug companies aren't going to lose an opportunity to make a buck here, so they brought it back hormone replacement therapy some years back, in a lower dose. So you know, it's sort of like poison light. Does anybody remember this? I do, because I reported on it on this radio show that I've been doing for forty years, well in syndication, going on
twenty eight now, So that's what's happening here. But there is an alternative. You don't have to put up ladies with hot flashes and night sweats and mood swings and reduce sex drive because things are changing with your hormone system. During the last segment, I've been talking about hormone replacement therapy. How for years doctors who have been pushing it on their female patients have explained to them that if they don't take it, their bones will crumble, they'll have dementia, they'll probably not have any good sex life and just have tremendous hot
flashes and just be mood swings and everything else and depressed. And now we're seeing a large study sixty thousand women studied over a long period of time, published in the bridge Ish Medical Journal and research carried out at the University of Copenhagen and Danish Dementia Research Center. Women who take hormone replacement therapy or HRT twenty five percent more likely to develop dementia or the worst form of dementia Alzheimer's
disease later in life. That's huge, folks. And as I mentioned, you know, you gotta think back if you're old enough to remember how hormone replacement therapy HRT was really pushed on women decades ago, increasing their risk of breast cancer or varying cancer, uterine cancer. And then it fell out of favor as the standard of practice because somebody women were saying, forget this. If I want to have a reduced hot flash to get cancer, I think I'll take the hot flash. No, thank you, And so, of
course the HRT drug peddlers they settled back down. Yeah, and then they let it rest for a little while because they know people's memories are short. And then they of course snuck it back into the marketplace again at a lesser dose. Of course. So we're not going to give you the full dose
of cancer, just a minor dose of cancer. Because these kinds of synthetic analogs, these artificial hormones that come from the pregnant horse or other synthetic sources, are not of your body, not of nature, not of your human body anyway, and so they're problematic big time now. Experts at Harvard and Mayo Clinic said, well, there were strengths of this study that I allude to here, including its large size, good data, and varied treatments.
Observational research like this cannot replace clinical trials, and inasmuch as I agree with that, I mean the writing is on the wall, though. Are we just going to wait until we massage this before we tell women that they have a twenty five percent increase chance of developing dementia and perhaps the most severe dementia, Alzheimer's disease if they take a hormone replacement therapy for a year or more.
We're just gonna sit on that and hope for the best and wait for you seventy five years or something worse, like what happened with women developing these cancers from taking hormone replacement therapy for the many years that they cause cancer, and many mothers and sisters and aunts and daughters. No, I don't think so with every problem there's a solution. This is not easy because you're dealing with a very complex body and a very complex system in the endercrine system,
the hormone system of a person. But are there options? That is the question. So if hormone replacement therapy doesn't work and it's dangerous and it can increase my risk of dementia and cancer and blood clots and all the other things that you could find yourself online, what can I do then, doctor Bob, Because I don't like the hot flashes that I'm having, I don't like the mood swings, I don't like the night sweats, I don't like the reduce sex drive, loss of libido and in the drive agal jay. What
can I do? Well, there's biodenmical hormone replacement therapy. You can actually get tested to find out what your estra dial, what your esterone you know, three different estrogens, your progesterone and your testosterone and your DHA. What levels are currently floating in your bloodstream and being generated by your body. You can actually measure that through saliva. It's a very accurate read on where it's
at. Ask your doctor to perform that a salivary post menopausal if you stop menstruating, postmenopausal hormone test, or if you're still menstruating and you're getting hot flashes, a pre metopausele. It's a salivary test. It's simply a spit test, not even poking you with a needle to get blood, even though
that it should be a backup test. This is very sensitive and if you don't, if your doctor refuses to do it or is clueless about it, then find somebody who does it. Vitamin D supplements may reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events such as heart attacks, among people age sixty. That's what a clinical trial published in the British Medical Journal found. That doesn't mean if you're younger it won't help you. It
will for so many reasons. There are hundreds of reasons why vitamin D helps human beings, and of your deficient in it, you are in trouble and most people are deficient in it. The researchers say this is the largest trial of its kind to date and further evaluation is warranted, particularly in people taking statins, cholesterol learning drugs, and other cardiovascular disease drugs. Cardiovascular disease is a general term folks for conditions affecting your heart and blood vessels, and is
one of the main causes of death Globally. Cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes are set to increase as populations continued age and chronic diseases become more common. Observational studies have consistently shown a link between vitamin D levels and cardiovascular disease risk, but randomized controlled trials have found no evidence that vitamin D supplements prevent cardiovascular events, possibly due to the difference in the trial design that can't
affect results. I believe that's what it is. In other words, it was designed to fail before they started using gigantic amounts of vitamin D two given the person once a month and hoping for the best. To address this uncertainty, researchers in Australia set out to investigate whether supplementing older adults with monthly doses
of vitamin D alter the rate of major cardiovascular disease. Their D Health trial was carried out between two fourteen twenty twenty and involved twenty one thousand people between the ages of sixty and eighty four who randomly received a one capsule of either sixty thousand i us of vitamin D two or placebos taken orally at the beginning of each month up to five years. Of course, you got to rerealize
this is a common error in the study. The whole design of the study was wrong because giving vitamin D two, which is less effective than vitamin D three plus one blast of it a month instead of a daily use, which is better A better way to use vitamin D. The rate of major cardiovascular
events was nine percent lower. Even when they because they used the wrong type of vitamin D D two and they only gave it once a month, it was still nine percent lower than the group that wasn't taking vitamin D. And the rate of heart attack was nineteen percent lower and the rate of cardiovascular revascularization eleven percent lower in the vitamin D group, but there was no difference in the rate of stroke between the two groups. So vitamin D three every day.
