so very much for tuning into the program today. I want to let you know that coming up, we're gonna have a very special guest on the program a little later in the hour talk about a very important topic you won't want to miss out on, and we've a lot of other interesting topics as well. Next hour, we're gonna have this week's installments of the Health Alternative of the Week, the Health Outrage of the Week, Product Recall of the Week, and we'll finish off with the Health Mystery of the Week, and a
lot of news in between all of that. But we begin this hour with a very troubling article that was recently published related to popular antibiotic drugs linked to heart damage, linked to aortic heart damage and deadly heart conditions. Now, there is no getting around the fact that antibiotic drugs can save lives and have since they came out I think the late forties or fifties. On a regular
basis, it's a miracle, there's no question about it. But when you overuse them, or certain strains of antibiotics are given to people, it can create a problem. There is not a single drug that doesn't have potential adverse side effect possibilities. The average pharmaceutical drug has the potential to generate seventy different adverse side effects, and antibiotics are no different. This particular class I want to talk about today, excuse me, is called floral quinn alone antibiotics,
and they go under the names. You may recognize these because maybe you've taken one of these drugs. One of these antibiotics cipro, levi quinn, Avalochs, bex della, or factive, but the more popular ones are cipro and levi quin. They've been linked to serious heart issues that according to a boxed warning issued by the Food and Drug Administration. The box warnings are placed on
prescription drug labels to inform buyers about serious or life threatening risks. Now, I have talked about cipro and this class of antibiotics in the past, related to a bunch of other adverse side effects like rupturing one's achilles tendon while being
on these drugs. Now. The FDA first added a boxed warning to this class of drug, cipro leviquent and all the rest of them back in two thousand and eight because of the increased risk of this problem that I just mentioned, tendonitis or the Achilles tendon ruptures which are being reported with people on this
class of antibiotic. The FDA included an additional warning back in twenty eleven for people diagnosed with myasthemia gravis, and in January twenty twenty two, little over a year ago, the FDA announced that this class of antibiotics, floral quinolones, cipro leviquent and all the rest of them should be reserved to use in patients with no other treatment options for acute bacterial sinus sitis or acute bacterial exacerbation
of bronchitis and uncomplicated urinary tract infections. Because of the risks generally outweigh the benefits. And I'm here to tell you that with sinusitis and bronchitis and UTIs, there are much much better ways, in my opinion, to treat these things than using this risky class of antibiotics, cipro leviquent and all the rest
of these floral quinolones. Now you should always reserve the ability to use one of these drugs, but it shouldn't be the first line of defense in my opinion, especially based on this latest stuff about the heart risk, the aortic damage risk, the deadly heart conditions that could come from using this class of antibiotics. But even with warnings, researchers found that in April twenty twenty two that floral quin alones, cipro leviquent and all the rest are still some of
the most prescribed antibiotics globally. So doctors haven't let their foot off the gas pedal when it comes to trying to not prescribe as many antibiotics because of our fear of having antibiotic resistance. And that is a problem because we're running out of options. I mean, antibiotics can be that miracle drug, but when they quit working because doctors are overprescribing them, overutilizing them, and as a result of that, the bacteria figures out how to change its structure so that
they resist the next round of antibiotics. Now you don't have that tool anymore because doctors have overutilized it. They've overutilized it on people with sinusitis, thinking
that that's the best thing for sinusitis, which it is not. Most sin situs is generated based on fungus, mold, and yeast, and the better thing to do there is clear nasal spray, the rescue nasal spray with the things in it that helped to get rid of the fungus, mold, and yeast and therefore the sinusitus and this particular scenario that they're talking about in this article. This is likely due to the fact that doctors having unsatisfactory knowledge of
the safety profiles and risks of these floral quinolones. Hence more education on adverse reactions to these antibiotics may be necessary. That's what the authors of this particular article are saying. Doctors need to have better education when it comes to this category of drugs. Now that drum has been beat to death over the last five to ten years because of all this antibiotic resistance talk that's been going in one ear and out the other in doctors who love to prescribe it's their fall
back drug. Anything, you know, if I don't know what it is given antibiotic, and you know, good luck with changing those kinds of habits. It doesn't seem to be working now. I know a lot of people say, oh, no, doctors have changed their ways. They're just not
prescribing antibiotics. Well, some doctors, that's true, the conscientious ones that are reading their journals and are realizing that they're messing their patients up by giving them, and they're messing mankind up and messing up a good class of drugs that otherwise is life saving by not prescribing these antibiotics, especially when it comes to giving people antibiotics when they have a cold of virus, and they do, and so many of them will just you know, it's like hail Mary,
get the ant if in doubt, give them an antibiotic. That's how we got here, folks. So if you've got a doctor who loves to prescribe antibiotics, I mean, you can't get out of that office without an antibiotic prescription. And you're tired of it and you recognize that it's risky for you, well then let your feet do the walking and talking by finding a new doctor. And in this case, the aorta, the main artery to
the human body that supplies oxygenated blood to our circulation system. This artery comes in from the left side of your heart and runs down the front of your sort of like the backbone your spine. The FDA reviewed the revealed that this floral quintalone antibiotic class increases the risk of tears in your aorta, also known as aortic dissection or ruptures of the aorta aortic aneurysm, leading to excessive bleeding
and even death, and it is a very high risk situation. The finding has occurred when unembiotics we're given by mouth through an injection or injection, and in turn, the FDA warned against the use of these floral quintal loans, cipro leviquin, and all the rest of them in those at high risk unless there are no other unless there are no other treatment options available, and there's almost always treatment options that are available. But it's not just you know,
your a order rupturing or tearing. You take these drugs and get agitation, delirium, disorientation, disturbance of attention, hearing laws, hypoglycemia, kidney fail your kidney stones, memory impairment, retinal detachment, you name it. This class of antibiotics, cipro leviquin are problematic. Big Time just wanted you to know. All right, we're gonna come up with our special guest day with

Former US president asks why our chronic illnesses on the rise in both children and adults. This unexplained, alarming rise and illness is caused by toxins and chemicals in our homes. Wow, you'll be hearing his words sometime during this hour,

So, based on these scary things that were in CBS News, Associated Press, and other articles, I invited a special guest to join me today to discuss several of these troubling articles that recently landed in major news publications. Thank you very much for asking what do you think of these scary articles that just keep on coming? Warning is that we live in such a toxic and polluted environment it's hard to get away from it. You know, there's there's two things to this one. You know, you can't look at them as scary because it's really just the continual pounding of the same message that we've had for for many decades. Right, if you go back and you you
remember the movie Aaron Brockovich and what a what Aaron's done? I mean, what what that movie showed was you know, the really some of the beginning of the awakening for people to realize that these chemicals, these toxins, you know, some of them are are naturally occurring, others are being done through industry, some of them are being released intentionally. But even even when you hear hear these these settlements come out like three m oh ten billion dollars for
you know, for whatever they released and whatever they done. What you don't hear, and what you won't hear is that they've actually done anything to clean up all of those things that are the mess. Right for these forever chemicals, you know, once they're released, and you have to understand going back to the key foundational talks and of all of these, which is mercury, right, And you know this clinically because you've been in clinical practice long enough.
It's it's mercury. You can start with mercury, which is the worst neurotoxin known to men, which was published in nineteen seventies that it was the primary cause of virtually every chronic degenerate disease. And then you you begin compounding our exposure to these lists of you know, pesticides and chemicals and new you know, teflon and pbds, p PCBs, PBDEs. We can go down, we can just we could talk for days and just continually list, you
know, a single talxin and what it could do. Because every year, I think there's about thirty thousand new chemicals that are produced that we have no freaking clue what they do to us. So I think it's really important for the audience to understand you, regardless of what you're dealing with, you have one issue. We are all polluted. That is the foundational piece. But I want you as we dive into this, I want to do one more thing because you know, through through life we are learned. We are taught,
and we learn through a trial by fire. Right, some of the greatest weapons in history are forged, you know, through fire and unfortunately over in the last couple of days, and it's very close to your community. I wouldn't be surprised if you had friends or people close to you that you have been lost in this. That the fires that happen at Lahinah were horrific, and so you know, it's important you know, for all of us

And even even if you if you live in an environment where you've had a cat, right or you have you know, friends who have cats, and we know that, you know, we joke about having the catwoman around. And if you go into someone's house it's got multiple cats and they haven't been taken care of it very well, and you walk in, you're going
to smell ammonia. One of the worst things. One of the worst things is cat peet. The craziest thing is, though if you're there for a very short period of time, it could be ten minutes. After a while, you don't smell the ammonia and the cat peeing mark because your body becomes overburdened with what it dealt with and it shuts off the signaling because it's so overpowering. and more of these forever chemicals. Now scientists are finally recognizing these toxins in our water, air, food, medicines, cosmetics, heavy metal toxins and these are all dit literious to human health, and so he agreed to come on the program to discuss it briefly. Clayton, can you just explain to people briefly what is a forever chemical and why do they need to be concerned about them? Well, they're you can you can look at them, as
you know, toxins of all different kinds. You can go from heavy metals to different environmental pollutants to you other other natural components that are toxic to the human body. But when put in the environment, they don't degrade as we as we understand with radioactive isotopes, they will, they will degrade and they
have a half life. And these these chemicals, these pollutants, these toxic heavy metals, these other these other toxins actually don't go away, you know, so they actually recirculate, which I think is the real scary part of what we're what we're seeing and what's been published. You know, when you talk about the the scary components of you know, what's going on in society if you go back ten years ago, and and I'm not a scientist, right, my wife holds the three PhDs and PSI, DDD and POSTOC at
Harvard and everything you know, but I do. I do a lot of reading. And when I was reading some of the publications and the literature, they came out about what atrazine and some of these these other hormone memetics and these heavy metals are hormone memetic. A lot of these toxins are hormone memetic.
And what they were seeing in fish and frogs is that in some of these lakes and rivers and streams where these these chemicals have been put into the into the water supply because of industry or whatnot, that you had, you know, fish or frogs becoming hermaphrodites really really quickly, so they became transgendered. And this this is not new, right, This has been something that we've known is a major problem for over a decade. And we know that
animals are the first line of response. You know in this progression of humanity. It's why we do animal studies, you know, with right, with mice and with dogs because they respond quicker and if you see outcomes in them, you're going to see outcomes of humans. And then as we trans we transfer time, you know, a decade, you know, we can say
a decade later. What do we sit in the middle of We sit in the middle of people and kids thinking that they are something that they're not, or that they're feeling something that they're not, and they want to transition. And you look back and you go, this is all chemicalsiity base exactly. It's just it totally dismantles. There the working of a normal hormone system goes upside down. It's really said, now, what about the concern that scientists
and are now finally picking up on this. It's late in the game, but they're finally picking up on the heavy metal toxins that are showing up everywhere and they're starting to measure it. Now, what are the heavy metal toxins to be concerned about and how do they potentially impact the average person listening to this conversation. So we as one not to go down the entire list but
we can hit on the big ones. But the most important part to understand with this is if we look at mercury, cadmium, arsenic, lad aluminum, caesium, strontium, got alnium. If you've ever had an MRI, you can throw graphine in there, and really, you know, aside from the heavy metal component, I would actually throw glisty in there as well, which is you know, in round up and you know used as a desiccant now and you know as a plant killer. That kills you as well.
But if you're one who has issues, if you're if you're not functioning or living at the best life you ever thought you could, and that you have symptoms that maybe you've been diagnosed to something, it's these metals that are the underlying etiology or cause of all of your problems. And that's not me. Then I'm not a doctor. You've got the thirty years of experience in this
that we probably agree. But the published literature going back to the nineteen fifties, and that a study that was done in the nineteen seventies actually validated all of this that mercury toxicity alone is the worst neurotoxinunknown to man. It's the second most deadly chemical besides dioxis, and it disrupts every system of the body.
And then you look at Okay, so this is like extremely toxic to humans, but they put it in amalgam fillings, they put it in vaccines, it's in fish, it's in the water supply, it's in the air, it's in the soil. And then we look at the progression of symptomology and humanity over the since the nineteen fifties, and we've progressively gotten sicker because these toxins are forever. What's in mom goes into the baby, and it's
just progressed through humanity. Well, Clayton, you know when a US president is finally talking about it. You know that that is on the radar screen. And we have an audio clip I want to play to the audience. Folks, listen to former President Donald Trump talking about his concern over the toxins that we are being exposed to today in our environment. Go there has been an unexplained and alarming growth in the prevalence of chronic illnesses and health problems,
especially in children. We've seen a stunning rise in autism, autoimmune disorders, obesity, infertility, serious allergies and respiratory challenges. It's time to ask what is going on? Is it the food that they eat, the environment that we live in, the over prescription of certain medications. Is it the toxins and chemicals that are present in our homes? Every year, we spend hundreds of billions of dollars to treat these chronic problems, rather than looking at what
is causing them in the first place. Too often, our public health establishment is too close to big Farma, make a lot of money big Farma, big corporations, and other special interests, and does not want to ask the tough questions about what is happening to our children's health. investigated and held accountable. When I'm back in the White House, I will establish a special presidential Commission of independent minds who are not bought and paid for by Big Farmer, and I will charge them with investigating what is causing the decades long increase in chronic illnesses. I understand Big Farmer. I believe better than anybody else I know where they're coming from. What did you think of that, Clayton, when you heard that coming from former President Donald Trump,
actually bring the truth out and he's actually still holding stuff back. But the data, the information that is now available is becoming so prevalent, and it coincides with the problems that humanity is having.
