We're back with our mid-week check in episode! Starting today and moving forward we'll be checking in on the standings around the league every Wednesday. This week we're talking about the hot starts for the Diamondbacks and Pirates that have them higher up in the standings than anyone anticipated they would be at this point in the year. We're also talking about the surprisingly slow starts from the Phillies, Cardinals, Dodgers, and Padres. Juan Soto is struggling and has said the pitch clock is affecting his mental game. The MLB is testing some new rules in the Atlantic League and for the most part they SUCK.
