Episode description

First responders are accustomed to the bright lights and loud noises associated with an emergency scene, but for individuals with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), these sights and sounds can be debilitating. Saranika Griffith from Lancaster EMS joins the program to talk about sensory bags, developed in partnership with Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, and how they can be used by responders to help patients with SPD.
