We are back from a week off, life got a little crazy for us all. We survived and lived to tell the story. Kyle checks in on how life at Birds & Bones is going, and the changes he has made in the first 90 days. Barrel recaps all the crazy in his life, and how busy he has been, and whats next for him. Welcome to don't drop the tongs. We're back, yeah a little, I want say vacation. I think we were on a midlife crisis. I think me. I think I'm gonna blame I'm gonna blame this because Barrel was on a midlife crisis. A midlife crisis, it's called barrel was working like a crazy man. And also I love how Kyle's like, oh, tries to blame me. I went back and looked at our group thread. There was a day I believe it was two weeks ago. Phil said, can anyone

do Wednesday? And I said our Tuesday. I said I can't, I can do Wednesday. And we never heard from Kyle. So he always wants to blame. No, no, no, no no, because I let you YouTube Prima Donna's figure it out what time? And then you just tell me and I'll put a pause in my day and come down here and do the damned to pause. Yeah, you need to put YouTube, figure it out. You just tell me the time, and I'm not all of us. I think you, bro, I think you had like a touch.

You know, you ain't see him working like a dog, you slipt, You ain't see it working. You ain't see I see the watch. I see him at the pizzaia, I see him on stage. We have my phone out, I have my phone up and ready to say. If Eric Church was the secret show artist and Marylyn didn't let us know about that we brought, I would have went off. Yeah, I got a good story about that. Bro. No, I don't want to know. I want to hear a barrel story because I heard there was a blooper on stage at

that secret show. What was that about a blooper on stage? Did you lose your barrel or you said the wrong name or the wrong state? Like what was going on? I saw some kind of something saying oh no, no, no no. I know you're saying no. I didn't say no no. This was funny. So we we introduced the artist. The artist. If you don't know what we're talking about, my radio station work for it does what's called a secret show where we don't tell you who the artist

is that you're going to see until the artist walks on stage. It is a a level country artist playing in a super tiny venue like fifteen hundred people general mission style show, but again you don't know who you're seeing until the curtain goes up. So we go out to do the introduction and two of my co hosts so we can get good audio for playback in a video, have a clip mic on You're like a live mic, and they introduced the artist and the crowd goes crazy. The artist was Thomas Rhett. The crowd

goes crazy. Everything is awesome. We're getting ready to walking off stage. Thomas comes on stage and in the video that we posted that also our corporate retweeted the last thing you hear before the video goes off, you can hear me. I got caught on a live mic on somebody's live mic and goes, shit, they like that one here as a day. But it's just it's well, I mean, you're not supposed to swear, you know. I mean that's one of the It's like, damn, this barrel is hot,

ship barrels hot, taboo words. And I was like, live mic, live mike, yo, this this back, this barrels chasing my ball, shaping my balls. That would have been yeah, if barrel would have said something like that, Okay, I get it, but not like that. What I don't see that. It was fun, No, nobody had. Toby was mad about it. It was. I was like, live Michael, you're not paying attention. You're not paying attention. You didn't even know he was busy. That's why I'm calling it out. Is there controversy

over there? That wasn't really controversy. I called myself out of it. He got he got five he got fined five thousand dollars f CC fine, fun thousands. Won't let me be if you say that on trust your radio. Oh absolutely, you're getting fine. For sure you're gonna find one. But thankfully it wasn't interrestrial, so I'm good. Yeah, but that was that the aliens. So, Kyle, you said that you have a first story. I want to hear this. Yeah, so check this out.

So last weekend was what do you call it was Country Thunder out here, right, yeah, And everybody here is like, you're gonna get slammed. You're gonna get slammed. And I keep telling people. I'm like, look, I've been to Country Thunder for fifteen years, right, fifteen years straight. I still got my tickets. I haven't gone in the last three And I was like, it's a camping festival, So I load a trailer full of everything I could possibly ever need. For five days. Once I get

to camp, I don't leave. I went into the town of Florence probably twice in my fifteen years that I was out there. That's why I was telling people, and they're like, nope, you're gonna get slammed. You're gonna get slammed. And it was slow, so we didn't get a lot of country thunder traffic, but we he had a So I was telling the staff. I was like, look, anybody walks in here, everybody just chill out, let the people eat, and then you want to ask him

for a picture later, ask him for a picture later. So he had like one dude came in. I had no clue who he was, but he was like, I mean, he was majorly hitting on one of the waitresses, just all just all about it, just going to town. And she keeps coming back to me like damn this guy blah blah blah, tell me all this stuff. Anyways, so then she he finds out that she's only seventeen and then that stopped. Whoa yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah Carol, And I probably led with that. You know, that's how

guys get charged. Yeah, Well, she's the person that works here. She's very bubbly. She's like one of our top waitresses. She's very outgoing. People just love her. And I always get stopped by people and they're like, hey, that waitress is an asset, you know, they just they love this girl. So he was the country artist was like gasting her up, like, oh man, I got my own golf cart. I'll pick you up in the golf cart. I could take you out to country

other we could drive around. And she's telling me this. I'm like, come on, man, he's it's a golf cart. I was like, I don't even know who the dude is. So we found his social media. Some be a see artist that plays on like a center or a side stage. Oh see, all right, yeah, we don't want to out

anybody, but yeah, I mean here was it nobody crazy? Well though, those things happen more than you would think where we're not going to, yes, but Baryl, you and I, You and I have had this conversation about artists, bands and other things, about what they eat, like the weirdness of what people eat. Oh yeah, you mean, are you talking like weird requests? They have weird requests or like a lot of them,

which I didn't know A lot of them are vegan. So here, I think a lot of times an artist will say that they're vegan, or they'll say that they have all sorts of crazy dietary restrictions. Yeah, I mean, yeah, sometimes they are vegan. But sometimes you'll have artists that I'll say they have crazy dietary restrictions. So therefore the food is actually made

fresh, versus saying yeah, I'll eat whatever. Yeah, and your guy goes out and gets you something, and you're you're getting walking food poisoning, right, you know what I mean, You're getting you're getting having the ships on the road ain't for exactly, so you say hey, and again there are some of them that are. But it's it's something where you're like, hey, you know, I'm I'm this, So therefore you're getting it made

fresh. You're getting it actually with hair put into it, versus getting something to gets slapped in a box that bounces around the back of a truck until you eat it and then you're on stage with the squirts. Yeah. Well so this guy, this guy, this country artist whatever he was with the guy who owns all the property at Country Thunder, who rents out to Country Thunder. Yeah, and then there's like a country Thunder CEO, which I didn't know that existed, but I guess that's anyways, So it was them

two and the country artists. They were all eating, and I kept getting these special requests on these tickets, like there was a smoke chicken sandwich but no no seasoning, just chicken, no bun, and like it was just a list, and I'm like, what the hell is this? So anyways, I found all that out. So it's kind of slow, and Eric Church's tour bus breaks down probably a mile maybe a mile or a mile and

a half from the restaurant. So the band, all the band got out and they started walking downtown Florence, right, And I'm good friends with this girl out here. She owns a like a boutique, a chick boutique show. Yeah you're saying that, Yeah, the Desert Honeys. She's friends with Double l Okay. Well, she was telling me, she's like, hey, Eric Church is walking around on the streets. I'm like, yeah,

okay, good call. And uh, anyways, I guess he So there's video of the man himself with his kids and his wife walk by the restaurant. Come by again, Eric Church opens the handle door of the Bone, looks inside, and we're packed at this time, it's like four point thirty. It's dinner crowd for all the older people. And he looks inside, shuts the door and leaves. It's too busy. Can you imagine that?

Yeah? I mean, but here's the deal, bro. Yeah, Okay, it'd been great to have him in there, but guess well, bro, problem, it's a bad problem to have. It's a bad problem to have that your restaurant was sol slammed out and you're making money because guess what, his money's just as green as those people's money, and they see we're going to come back time and time ago. So yes, it would have been amazing to have him erk, but it also really bad had Eric Church

walked in and there at anybody in there. Yeah. True, But I have it on video, so I gotta I gotta buddy that owns a pizza place out here, so you have you actually have him open the video video on video with his hat and those damn glasses, Barrel with his wife and his two kids. Barrel. I haven't posted yet. I don't want to post it because no, because I don't want to do that. Send me the video because I'm curious about this glasses thing because he generally doesn't wear the

glasses. Yes, the Eric, sure he had the glass. It might not have been him, but I'm almost positive it is. Hey, send it to me. I'll let you know, because maybe you got du impersonator. I don't know, but uh my buddy at the pizza place, he was he fed jelly Roll and his whole band with all these flat bread, weird artesian pizza requests at like eleven thirty or midnight on Saturday night or Sunday

night, Saturday. What did I tell you? I know, I know he was telling me about that, and I was like, the Post Post. He was telling me the same thing. It's the Post show man, and they usually try to get something a lot of times. Pizza is a common thing because let's be real, you can eat pizza coal. And also it's pizza's pizza, right, you know what I mean, Like bad pizza. Bad pizza is bad pizza. But you know, bad pizza is better than a lot of things. So yeah, I'm curious. I want to

see the video. But good, I'm glad. I'm glad you survived it. So well. One more thing, we you're behind barbecue, Birds and Bones one small Business of the Year in Florence, Arizona. Well there's what three, But you hain't even been opened a year. That's no. But if I was like twenty years and you came in in like three months and I would have something, I would I got a lot of hate on on on social media about it, a lot of hate people like these people have

been opening for two months and y'all are giving it to them. So many businesses in Florence and this and that. I'm just well, like, what do you say to that? Like, I didn't. I didn't pay for it. I didn't vote for it. The Chamber of Commerce and the businesses vote for who is the small business of the air. It's not like it's a political You paid for it, That's what That's what I'm saying. I didn't pay for nothing. Like what you what do you pay for it?

You me for winning? Like, what do you do you You paid for it? Exactly? You didn't vote for it. Well, I didn't get to vote, I know. So you know, didn't you fight with all of the congress people in your town? Yep? You the congress people, so yo, the council and all the yo. So what you gave them? What did you give them? What you gave I didn't know those guys eat here. I've never even seen them in here eating. I've never seen the mayor in here eating. Is that it ain't the mayor of Florence,

that's what That's what I heard. I don't know. I don't know what you're talking about. Move on from that microphone broke out, But anyways, that's it. That's my life. Well all right, so let's get let's move on to one other thing. We're gonna get an updated on how Birds and Bones is doing. You are what almost two months in? Yeah? You still enjoying it? Yeah? Yeah, you still slam. Still gotta wait every day, Yeah, still gotta still gotta wait. It's uh,

but lunchtime is insane here. Dinner is getting even worse. Now, not worse, but I mean busy, we're cooking more. Refrigerator space is killing me. I mean it's absolutely just killing me. We have a vault here, since none of you two have ever been here in eight besides Phil, Phil has been here, but he has an eight. That's what I was telling me the other day. Thanks for coming on. Well, no offense. I'm kind of out of my bubble. Yeah, got it. So

there's a vault here. This place used to be a bank. There's a vault, do you ghost? Look like we're looking to try to turn that into a walk in because I need I need freserator space, need it outside. You should put it outside. No, bro, we got a patio. If you've ever been here, you'd see that. You mean it with the wheelchairs, with the hula hoops on it so the handicap could pull itself up. Yeah, I saw it. I saw it. I saw it being made. No, life is good here. It's good. It's busy.

It's I'm just busy every day. Well good, I'm glad that you are busy. I'm glad things going well. Have you had any employee issues. You're two months in you had to uh we fired two of them. You fired too, Well, that's employees you have been fired. You're a month. I hope that wasn't Pop's girlfriend. It's not Pop's girlfriend. I don't know what is why you why you say, like Ronald Rey, get it out of the door. I don't know anything. I know what you

know about? Anyways, Moving on, all right, So we got to get to a couple of things here now. Phil, I feel as if though you have been talking about new things coming from Phil to grill, rubs, sauces, everything for I don't know, three years, two or three years. We've been doing this podcast for almost two years, coming on the fourth of July weekend, So two years we've been hearing about you having new sauces, rubs, et cetera coming. And I saw something on our friends

of Barbecue Island's Instagram. Yeah, you gotta the new rubbout drop some tong brother, So they got one rub Okay, So what's the worst thing you could do on like somebody you're digging right, you know, you know, you're on a date, you were digging in somebody or whatever, and she's like, oh yeah, I'll come out with you, blah blah blah, y'all get a little bit touchy Philly and then she's like, all right,

I gotta go home or she'll give you a little something. But okay, but that's what they're doing to me with my rubs, bro Like dropping one at a time. So it's like, I don't really want to go public public with it because I have three coming out all together. It's going to be the drive you want that rub to sell, right, Yes, but like they're dropping out like not in like it's like every two weeks, so they're testing whether or not you're putting pushing the product. No, it's already

a done deal. They just need it's already packaged. It's already a done deal. Now my thoughts is on the other hand, that part, Yeah, it's it's a I'm actually investing in that because I can't deal with you know, like how long it's taken. But yeah, I've been pushing the same thing for two years. But I do have Triple O G, which is my original rubb Me all over. Rub Me all Over is not a name of one rub anymore. It's actually a part of a series. So

you have Triple O G. That's my all purpose rub. Uh. The only thing I did to that was grind down the Italian seasoning so you don't see those green leaf flakes that would used to be in there. So it's like a regular barbecue rup, you know what I mean. So, and that's my all purpose. And then I have for chicken and pork, I have fruit. So you're about to have me say fruitflies, fruit flying I

got fruit Flyer and that's what Barbecue Island has. Barbecue Island has fruit Flyer and that's for like pork and chicken and it has heavy apple and Hallo peno on it. That's a good one. Is there any Is that the only place you can buy it? Like, I'm sure like A's and stuff, I haven't even checked. I'm waiting for this last one is my I love it on beef. It's butter butter Blackout. It's butter garlic and Blackout is

the Worcestershire that's in there. And man, now I'm going to drop the tons on a little something because I'm I'm I'm like a little bit up set right and here I might start something with this show right here. All right, I'm a little bit upset that it's taking so long to get this last one drop. Right. They told me it was the date of the seventeenth of April that it was coming off the we're talking about now, I'm not going to drop that part. If you know, you know, If you

don't, you don't. So so they told me that it was like, okay, cool, it's going to come out on the seventeenth, Now, I have smoke Slam. We'll get into that in a little bit. They have a store and they're waiting on a product before me, so they can you know, set up shop and sell my rubs while I'm out there or whatever. This last rub seventeenth and I still don't see a link to buy. They haven't shifted. So I emailed and I was like, Yo, what's up. It's like, oh yeah, it's dropping. It already went

through production. We got to create a link. It's you know, ready to be shipped. Now I got to go into it. Here's the drama, right. I don't know if they're holding me off on that because one of my competitors has from the same distribution company, has a new rub called but a Garlic coming out and it says coming soon on their website. Guess what. Mine is not even posted coming soon, doesn't say anything. One of your competitors, one of my barbecue competitors. I'm not going to call

out names, Brody, I'm not calling it out names. If you do your homework and you listen to podcast, you'll be able to figure it out pretty easily. But one of my barbecue competitors has a rub coming out and it's called And the only reason I know this is because I went to the website right and I was like, yo, did they create the link yet? You know it's that product, you know ready? And I didn't see a link for mine, but I've seen a link for his saying coming soon

but a garlic. They like dropping these like albums like, oh, well, say something. I'm not I don't have a big deal. I don't. I would have said, send me my product. We could release it, you know, a month later. I don't care. But I'm like, bro, like really like, same company, same product coming out that at the same time. He might be mad at me. I caught it first because I saw his product. But wait till he sees that I got the same thing. He's going to say feel the same way, Like did

y'all nicks ingridio. No. I just I saw this, like maybe like two hours ago. I just did. Just happened. It just happened where I saw the link and it said coming soon butter garlic. And then when I went to fill the grill, it only has my two rubs, triple og and fruit for fire right fruit fly. Because Barrel got me wanting to say that, yeah, it doesn't say nothing about but no one said nothing. Nobody said anything about buttery blackout, and it's not even on it,

you know what I mean, coming soon or nothing. So I'm just a little bit curious if it's going to cost some contributing. So what's the drama. The drama is there's one distribution company and we got the same product. I haven't tasted his. I'm sure he hasn't tasted, mind, but it's the same product coming out at the same time out of at the same place. Like that would be like, okay, me and you are cooking in your kitchen and at the same time, I'm gonna do bacing chili whatever,

right, and you that's your thing. And then all of a sudden, well phil real god baked chili, baked chili, garlic, same time, same time, same time. So I don't know, like, but it's interesting. My advice doesn't hold the candle. But I'm just saying, I

think you need to start pushing what you have. You need to start pushing what do you I mean, who cares if you only got two out, who's more than you've had for Because yeah, because you could push it on here, you can push it on social media and the businesses that have your rub, people actually will go in and look for it, grab it by it now if you're not promoting it and the rub just sits there like they're gonna be like, Okay, let's not order this again because it doesn't sell.

Yeah, you know what I'm I'm pushing. I already got. I already got the whole marketing playing down on how to push it. I'm ready, I'm ready. You have one out now you should start pushing it. So Yeah, by the way, I fill the grails, rub me all over fruit and fire rub as well as the uh ap rub. It looks like you rub me all over ap rub. It doesn't called the

O G, it's not called triple OG. They haven't changed that one yet. See that's what I'm saying. I don't. I don't want to keep I don't until they get it right one hundred percent. I don't want to tell people that because just like I said, i'd say, go there and you get my rub. Oh this is not the right rub. Then people like I'm not messing with them, you know what I mean, He's giving me bad information. I want everything to be straight and set. I want

to have product in my closet. I want to be able to ship on order before I mention anything. You know what I mean. Well it is on Amazon. I've been hearing two weeks for two and a half years, so I know me too. I've

I have been using my uh, my Green Mountain. I've been just hammering that new one, Dude. That new GMG is a it's just a work horse. It's just a dang good smoke. I've been using the heck out of that, you know. I cooked. I did some Texas style ribs, which I really like. I'm being on the Texas style ribs. Style ribs where you just do

salt, pepper, garlic. You don't do any of the butter, the honey, any of that. You just doing texastyle or all that. A little barbecue sauce, wrapping up and foil and cut his kind of finished him off in a warmer love. I like that style. I don't know why. Okay, I really enjoy that. That's kind of my new I don't know, I just love those. Uh what else did they do? Oh? Ude? The other day I got bored and I was like, but I'm like, I'm making chicken thighs again. So I think I saw that

The Bachelor of Chicken was on screen. Dude, exactly, I make The Bachelor of Chicken like NonStop. So I went ahead and just did The Bachelor of Chicken, which is just chicken thighs actually seasoned with your two rubs with Phil's og rubbed me all over, and then I topped it with Kyle's green chili bacon. Let's the most basic thing in the world to make, trust me. And I got exactly calls of gourmet, but I took him.

I took a couple of chicken thighs and they came off and I took them, and I also smoked them some bacon, and I did some red onion. I didn't smoke that obe anyway, as long as your short. I chopped it all up really fine, had a little ranch and made at one of the you know those things you've been seeing all over social new trend is like the chopped sandwiches, you know, where you take everything and chop it up all fine, mix it. Oh, you're not talking about chop cheese.

You're not talking about New York chop cheese. Right? No, no, what what? What's what's the beat? What's the protein chicken? Oh? Okay, go ahead, pay attention. So yeah, I did. I made that. And honestly, it was like, this is so dumb and so basic, but it's really good. So I made that. Other than man, man, I've just been working like a dog. I had a buddy of mine in town, uh this past weekend, and he's just

he's just a gasser. Dude. You ever have one of those friends that come to town and you just you just gotta hang on the entire time you're the're there because they're just wide open. This comes to this dude. This dude's like another level of just he's just a beauty and he's just insane and I love him, but golly, he is just he's wide open. It was like back to back nights of two am and three ams and just and

then Bart got to go to work. He counting his He's counting his hours, just like if I go to bed right now, I could get to got it. He got in last Friday. He got in last Friday, and I picked him up from the airport and we went straight to a brewery, then drank and next thing I it was three o'clock in the morning, got up. Rinston repeated that on Saturday, this went hard in the pain

On Saturday Sunday, I was just like I am dead. So we just kind of like laid low at my house and this dude is show just ripping through IPA's going out stop. He's just a machine and I'm like, I gotta go to bed. I gotta work Monday. And he left today Tuesday. I got over from work yesterday and the dude is just sitting there on the couch and just got his eighteen pack and he's just crushing through cours like eighteens. I'm like, damn, this dude is just a work course.

So yeah, did a little bit of that. That was one of my excitement that or you say the fun of there, but I do have to say something here. I have to give Phil his flowers. And he actually did something super super cool for me. Oh so, if you remember a few weeks back, Phil was back east, then goes in Connecticut and he entered in that competition using my mom's pizza doll recipe. Right, he enters

it in and he finishes third. Well, Phil comes home with a trophy the other like last week, I don't know what I think it was Monday, I don't know what day it was. They'll run together. I get this texted like four fifteen in the morning, and I'm like, what the hell and it says Phil the grill. I'm like, oh, he's in jail, but he wasn't. And he's like, what time you go at the station? I tell him. He's like, I got something, gonna bring it by. He brought me by the trophy. Oh, let's go.

So he brought me by the trophy and I gave it to my mom and she has put it up in her kitchen. She is she's got yeah, she's got up in the kitchen. She was so happy, she's so over the moon with it. My dad and I have renamed when our you know, our family group thread. You can you can have names for things, you know, you can name group threads. So I don't call my mom mom. I never have. I call her Nita because because my mother,

my mother's name is Janet. And when I was like only fifth grade learning Spanish or whatever, you know, Janita is Spanish for Janet, so I just shortened it, like in fourth grade and started to call my mom Nita. People think it's I call her Nita like I've always called a Nida, and people like what. So now we have renamed our family group thread to Nita's award winning kitchen, and she's got that trophy posted up in her

kitchen. She is so damn happy about it. So, Phil, that's you you truly, truly truly made made her so happened and she was just tickled. It was the best and it was it was really cool. So thank you for that film. You already know I love it. I love Phil. Phil. Are you going to uh? Are you going to sholo the sholo sc a contest? Cowboy John? Yo? This is probably going to be the second time I missed. There was one time I couldn't go to show because it was Memphis of May and uh, he actually kind of

like he still keeps that date. But Memphis of May kind of pushed this. But it's ten grand bro, ten grand, I know, I know, yeah, I want to go because I how many There's only eighteen people signed up? No way, no way, no way. Wow, you're making me wanting to go. But Troy, he texted me, Yeah, yeah, Mark hit me. Are you picking him up on or? They got a rental truck. They're coming out to Florence getting using all my steak

stuff. They're gonna come eat at the restaurant and then they're gonna head up the should up. But there's only eighteen people signed up. Ticket out No first place Steak is fifteen hundred bucks. And and now mind you, mind you, mind

you. They're great at a restaurant, right, They're great at a restaurant because yo, you you don't care about now that you know what I mean. You just want a good bite, taste and rib great at the restaurant. But for competitions, guess what, yo, Brodie, these supermarkets have been having more meaty batter, thicker ribs like fries fries. I was gonna say so, I used to get my ribs as the fries. But I'll rock Prairie fresh primes all day long. Brother, I got here. I

love Prairie first primes. I had I certain too, I do too, But I got me a hand selected batch frozen ready for one day when I can finally leave here to compete. Oh yo, how many you gots? I'm telling you, I've been getting a lot of my joint from a supermarket, like testing in the backyard and just getting prepared for the cop It's all been from like supermarket ribs, Kroger, fry Kroger or Fries ribs. Yeah, I've been on point. They've always been on point. Yeah. So anyways, where you're getting You're going to a grocery store to get your ribs. Do you have

that planned out? Like what's the deal? Yes, me and Smitty are scavenger every night before we go home. We've been going to the stores and finding like two packs and putting them together like you know what I mean, like, yeah, do you need baby do you need baby backs? Or your regulars regulars, But I want to make sure they all like our award winning ribs, you know what I mean. So you know how like the grocery stores can have or wherever you go, bunch of shops whatever, they'll

have whatever came in the case. Right, Okay, for instance, Kyle, how many and not because I want to borrow, but how many ribs you got set to the side? Probably fifteen fifteen? How many packs or how many weeks did it take you to get to them? Fifteen? Probably all month long, I mean exactly months exactly. But that's what I'm saying to get them to get the competition ribs that you want in your low Wow, these are the ones, exact mean, because I'll go through the case,

which is fine, and I'll still load the refrigerator. But then I'll get one that's like you're like, oh, this is funny right here exactly, that's the one that those are the ones we want, and so that you can't just do it one visit at the grocery store, you know what I mean, you can't you if you need that many and you need perfect ribs, you got to go like every other night, you know what I

mean, grab two and grab another two. Friends, Bro, I made friends with the fries manager over here, well not out here, but I mean in Waddell, and I made friends with him, kind of talked up what I was doing and blah blah blah. He's like, bro, anytime you want to, you know, we get ribs at this certain time. It was like Tuesdays, I think Mondays or Tuesdays and he would take me back into the cooler and they would have freaking stacked Yeah. What you had

to give him him to take you back in the cooler? Nothing, Bro, I'm a nice person. I'm a nice person, so I'm nice. I was like, bro, can I look through some of these? Yeah, look at what you want? Don't hurt yourself. I'm like, all right, cool. The case is to go through all the Phil used to be my connect to get the Prairie first primes, and when I couldn't get him from him, I had That's the prize was where I want to go?

Yea, That's where I had to go. Definitely, definitely, And and you know what, and you know we were injecting him anyway, right, So like some of these already are already ready to injected exactly, especially that and some of the fries ribs too, already are in a solution. So they're already in an injection, you know, solution to help tenderize them. Yeah, you just gotta watch out for that because you don't want to you don't want to put too much tendrizer in the thing. exactly, You'll you'll talk them out. Yeah, we don't want that. When Mushy is ship, So Jason Baker's loading up a cooler ribs as well. No, I'm taking a Koler with me on the plane. I'm filing southwest how many how many racks of ribs are you taking with you? I don't know, probably fifteen. No, you're taking more than that. You know how much that's going to be? Wait, they charged by weight, bro, you're gonna take an ice chest full of ribs. That's gonna

be like fifty pounds. Okay, yo, yoh, wait, hold, I gotta dropped. I gotta drop of Tom's on sunny. Right. So we go, we go in a week to Connecticut see my grandbabies, and we do a cop right. I snuck in the comp on a family get away, right, so you know that's already what a spouse like. Of course you will, right, of course you will. Just so happens, this's an sea comp in town while we're supposed to be visiting seeing our grand babies. Right, So you know she's already like a little tight with that.

Right. So I'm you know, I booked a rent the car, I bought the inline tickets, and I tell her, I say, look, I spent all this money, right yo, Alice, you could do is just upgrade our seats and do backcheck. Right. She was like, sure, you don't know much about don't what it was one hundred and sixty dollars. That's not the other two luggages. That's still with forty to out

the beat. That's that's the same field. If he has anything illegal on him or could not have while walking through TSA, he puts everything in Sonny's purse and let's hegetus. Yo. Yo, wait, I told you about when we went on the cruise. Right. We go on the cruise. We got all over our luggage, right, so we're peggeted and I was like, if we fly, we gotta fly to New Orleans and catch the cruise. Out of New Orleans, we go to Belize and Honduras all this other shit, right, So I tell her, I told her. I

told her way to the cruise this year. At the end of the year, Man, I'm so glad on the restaurant no more. But anyway, yo, while we're packing our close when I packed it, yeah, exactly, you'll figure it out, yo. I'm gonna check on you in five years then I'm want to ask you how you still love it, yo. But yeah, so we're packing our clothes and I'm like, Babe, I think my bags are getting too heavy. Yo. I got right, I

got like four chair pay bottles. She got like two bags. I put two it each by blah blah on the way we get through now, yo, no, when we get to when we get on the ship, they bring all our bags, you know, wearing the haven. We got a butler and everything. Right. I had them making me digging bots at two in the morning and cutting off the crust because I could do it right. That's why I don't need to be rich. Every time I got back to the room, I was like, let me get a bill tam, but

no crush. He was cutting crusted off. I was having faking, making fake and chales. But yo, so check this. So we get get there, I got the bags in there. My bags come right up right. We already off the port, like in the water right now, right, And no bags come up. And I was like, all right, man,

don't worry about it. Let's just go eat dinner. And by the time we get back to the room, your bags are gonna be here. Yo. We go out we had some drinks blah blah blah. Yo. We probably back in like what thirty in the morning, and so I'm calling it by bot with no crush, right, So he's like, my bag's still not here. Let me speak to him. He's like, my bags is still not here. She's like, oh, I know, all right,

let's see your bags have been contained because you alcohol on the ship. Ah. She thought you was gonna be on the seven day clus in the same clothes or whatever. She could buy it at the gifts shop. I had to pay a cork and fee and then then you know, I showed my ass, right, So I got blue bell there. I'm walking around on the ship. I'm at the clubs and on the ship they're like, yo, when

you get that bottle from I was like, my room. I had to pay twenty five dollars to get to s Court, so I'm drinking the old So I'm drinking the whole thing. I'm drinking the whole shit. They were eating and everything, and I'm making a point to I go around every table after I cleared

He used to work for the city way back when, and uh he helped to do all the construction on Main Street, put new uh like, help resurface the streets, bury the tunnel, do the uh what do you call

it? Redo the sidewalks and all that stuff. They found a coffin right in front of the our restaurant, right there was a coffin, and they didn't I mean, they found I guess they found a bunch of money. They found all kinds of crazy stuff when they were redoing everything out here, and they found a coffin and nobody wanted to touch it, so they concrete it right over it right in front of the windows of the restaurant. Probably no, And this dude's old. This dude was old, and he's like,

dude, I'm serious, I'm dead serious. There was a there was a coffin right there. They don't know who it was or blah blah blah blah blah. But I was like, oh, that's funny, because let me tell you some ghost stories. So I tell him the stories. He's like, yeah, I don't believe you know, I don't blame it now that happens. So, yeah, there was a coffin. Yeah, No, was like, wouldn't you think, like we're twenty twenty four, you'd

probably take that out and probably do something with it. Yo, let's let's go digging, bro They found money, you said he found them not in just front of the restaurant, but I mean the entire town of Florence on the street when they redid everything.
