Pres. So the whole idea is we're going to this is for podiatrist basically, a lot of us have our own practices. We want to be more efficient and I was kind of poo poo about these things. To tell you the truth like this, because it was a pain in the butt to set up but like I wouldn't go without it in like when the batteries run out I like get super a ppppp and I'm like I gotta get a battery. So we're going to talk to them about about this this gatekeeper. Okay. Okay.

So I'll start here. Hello and welcome to Paradise. Practice Mastery. My name is Don V 0 and I have Jamel log here from gatekeeper. Welcome to Mel. Hey, thank you for having me pleasure to be here. You're welcome man. So tell me how you got into, like, this stuff, like with these Gatekeepers tell me about what's the story behind this stove behind this wall. I think, I think it's pretty entertaining.

Gatekeeper itself, actually started out kind of as an originally, as a Kickstarter project, so we actually got started, but But we actually had so much interest from outside of just what we thought was just the retail community that actually came much bigger than it was initially. Now it started pretty much. He went from Kickstarter to talking directly to physician to saying hey you know what, you

have this thing called HIPAA. Not sure if you guys have heard of this and I think this could really really work for you guys and it really can help a lot of us out. And we kind of just went down that Rabbit Hole In, You know, here we are five six years later with a much different. Much bigger customer base and I think you say so yourself. Some pretty happy Physicians. Yeah, so we've tried a couple of. So in our hospitals we were

residents. We had these like cards was like a credit card and you come you come to your station and you hit you hit it with a credit card and it logs you in and we looked at those for private practice and we're like gosh these are expensive and to set it up and then we got the first rendition of these and I want to be very Frank.

The first rendition like if my partner was closed by it logged me out in log me. And I was frustrated to no end and like I sat down and I couldn't see my login thing. But you guys had this cool thing where I have to sit and hit enter first. And then I can choose which person if they're people that are close by. So it's really improved, but I like it because I can keep

logged in and all my computers. And it just, it keeps me where I was at before, and the other doctors and things like that. So it's kind of revolutionary. Oh, how come everyone doesn't have. It is just people don't know about it or are they using other things? Um, I would say they are using other things. Secondly, they have heard about us yet, using once they do?

That's where all the questions come in and they gently want to try it. But really, I would say, you know, once they hear about us, they actually tried, they realize think you did yourself. You don't want to go without it. It's really just been about exposing people to the new ways and the easier ways. They can reach compliance standards, but just make logging into their computers. An easier process and more seamless. So, to explain how you explain it to your customers, like it.

What does it do for us? Doctor sir. Absolutely. First thing it does lets. You focus on your patients not necessarily needing to remember I'm to log in here with this 12-letter password and then this account but that 12 other password. So really it's all about simplifying, the login process. But I'll let them know. Gatekeeper kind of becomes your one key to rule them all, cuz I'm no Stokke and fans you

pretty much. You just use your token, you tap it to a sensor or you enter a pin or you press enter and you're in. Usually, you get access to your records, there's an extra Aspirin level component to it. So if you're accessing any web-based Neymar, Another Log in there, you have to worry about. Remembering your goal, keep hitting, enter, enter, and use to get exactly what you need in terms of the patient records right in front of you.

You know, there's, I think there's components that I don't use and I think because I see in so maybe you can talk to like people that are using it. Some Advanced features interesting word offers to remember my other passwords and I don't use that one like I can see the little logo when I'm logging into. I don't know other stuff. And hey you want us to remember this? And I don't But what are some kind of high high level things for efficiencies that you can do sure.

So on you get to save all your website passwords and gatekeeper and what that means is now any time you log on to your computer or I say a different exam room computer, those passwords follow you. So really it's all about. Saving you more and more time. So what happens if I'm at home and I don't have gatekeeper at home like and I want to give access because that's why I use the Google password that I probably shouldn't. That's why he's those?

Yeah, so what were actually doing is number one working on a mobile app so you can actually have those passwords If you at home like a Google Chrome extension or something like that, or I'm essentially going to be on the phone. So, to be something similar. But also really, I think you guys actually using the cloud version. So folks, like you, if you have to just install gatekeeper on your home computer, those passwords to be there too. So I because because I am going to laugh.

I will hack. I figured out, I leave one computer without gatekeeper. Okay, you know why? So you can why tell me looks like because I don't remember my password. I like a I don't remember it because like I have 62 s sick computers or sets has seven and and so this one I leave its Mark to log in every morning. So remember that password otherwise I don't even know my passwords and so that's why I leave one without it. I will say there are some benefits to it.

I'm not knowing your password.you. Don't worry about it. Someone stealing it from you. You'd be surprised how often in the market. You hear that people reuse passwords. So it's best in times if you just don't even know him if you don't need them. Yeah, so yeah. Means What do you guys see? Like what other similar Technologies like people that use gatekeeper?

What other cool like techy things do other other, any other similar things like sister products or things like that, that other people would tend to use to make them more efficient with their computers or at the office? I don't know. Um, ski question. I will say sister products. Not too many do exactly what we do but you will see other similar like password caddy. So like I'm pretty sure you've heard of you be killed, do all those and of some come comparison like products.

But what I was meaning is like this really cool. Cool Tech thing, are there other cool Realtek. Things that we might not know about. I don't know, like, for one would be like VoIP voice over IP for our phones, or I use Google Chrome and I can log in and show presentations and any other cool tips that you have, if you're a techie type of guy, cool tips. Well, one, I mean, your phone's your life and blood. So I mean any app that's available on the phone and computer, that's what you want.

I'm always kind of on the go So I use things like Trello for keeping myself, organized. I use things like, man. It's freezing, I use them all the time to see if they're not equipped for from my mind. But I actually use this this keypad that people usually use for gaming, but also use it for work. It's perfect. Because basically just like, it's a little keypad right here for your desktop, click this button, it immediately opens up an application or program for you all to Delgado.

That's what it is. There we go. So God. Yeah. I believe that's the name of it and basically I've saved it to be typical presentation so it's like, oh man, I'm running late to this demo or something. Oh, wait, click the button. It just brings up the general version that I use. So I can make some quick edits. I can tie it to applications or if I want to start like particular program, but it's still got obviously that's one of things. I use a lot. That makes that's cool.

I haven't heard of that one. What did I find? That works is called brain toss and if you've heard of that one, no, I have that's new one, it's an app where you It and if wherever I'm at, I can just record an audio and it'll send me an E, A transcribed. Email with that idea because I'm out and I don't want to open up my browser to write an idea down. So it's kind of a new way you can take pictures and we'll send you to an email.

She can deal with it Monday or whenever possible one that I use but I like that Delgado one that's cool. Yeah cool and it's also a little bit more with it with a gatekeeper. So for everyone that's listening gatekeeper basically you know I don't get paid for gatekeeper. I just think it's a great product. And I one of the challenges we found maybe you've improved this, you sent us in the mail and then we troubleshoot because you have like an IT group that helps troubleshoot and get

things working, right. I think in the beginning, you guys actually came here but I think you'd out to a virtually now. Right. Yeah, a lot of what we do now is virtual, we do actually have different managed service provider partners that can go on site and work with us as well. So we actually have a lot of tools out of school to help you with that initial onboarding. Yeah. But now I would say, like you said, we've kind of got it to a science.

What we can do it virtually. Any time in the making of like the distance from the computer and how sensitive it is and things like that, those were things, I found were struggles and the first versions. Yeah, we made that simple now where we've taken out some of the options and kind of streamlined it where it's like click this set the setting for particular range. Let's say close, you know, six to 12 feet far, 10 to 10 to 15 feet. So we made it really simple and easily adjustable.

So we can do it quickly over voice-over video, that we can quickly. How many people use your products? How many ducks are, is it just doctors or other people that use them? No. Um, how's the doc is a main industry but I would say people in manufacturing and then law enforcement you'd be surprised. There's just it's really everyone in this everyone in the world now just costly dealing

with password. So if you can figure out how to make that process easy for them to manage, you can get it a lot of yeses to see a lot of happy people. They can avoid typing passwords. Yeah but in terms of providers I would say thousands right now because we have Many different small and medium-sized practices. Some similar like yourselves that have really gotten on board with gatekeeper been very happy so it's been fun over these past five years, watching the climate change.

Now being a like a Visionary. Where do you see you guys in three to five years, like what's the future of? Yes, people are going to use it more but other more things, you think it's going to be able to do or you get a branch into other stuff, other ideas? Yeah, I think one thing I'm really excited to see us into is the physical access Market. I think if we can get people to kind of Have, can I keep one nice secure device to access both physical and physical and

logical. Space is basically computer and doors. I think it's going to open up a lot of room, even more for gatekeeper because it's like now you won't forget it because I can get in the building without it, you know, to me, it'll be almost like getting a mass these days, you step out the door, you run back inside to get it, you know, I think you're right on there.

Let me just tell you a joke. Like we all like we have to bring these home with us like in the beginning and you have to figure out where you're going to put it too high. Certain bag in my backpack. I put my gate because if you leave it everyone has access to everything. And have you ever seen in, right? What they have like and people's houses they have these face recognition, right? So you can know who it is to open the door or the voice. When was voice?

Do you remember that guy that had the dental work? And then he tried to open up the door and you couldn't be good with rain and everything like that. So I think it's either going to be our phones or some type of a even another device or who knows in the future. They're going to implant. You're a keeper in my hand and I can just walk around with it. But not yet. Cool. Well if you want to learn more how can they learn? What's the website? You guys? Have sure.

He's go to www.gkyork.ca s.com and everything's right there for you. Cool. Hey thank you for your time. That was a lot of fun. Awesome. Same here for
