Today I’m joined by the amazing and inspiring Kathryn Tickell. She plays Northumbrian pipes and fiddle. Is a composer, performer, educator and recording artist whose work is deeply rooted in the landscape and people of Northumbria. She has an OBE which recognises her incredible career which she began by learning tunes from shepherds in the rural community where she grew up.
