And now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talk.
We're live at Dodgers Stadium after the Dodgers beat Derek Jeters Yankees eighteen to two. I'm joined right now by NLCSMVP Tommy Edmund, who had a career high four hits today. Tommy, what was going on in that first inning against Will Warren? It felt like you guys weren't chasing and he had nowhere to go.
Yeah, we came out hot, you know, kind of attacked him early, got a bunch of hits early in the account, and then once that happened, he kind of ran from the zone and we just kept putting the deal a good at Bess, how.
Much does a game like last night carry over into a game like today. It feels like you guys turned it up after coming back from the road trip.
Yeah, you know, we got really hot in the second half of the game yesterday. You know, it just kind of continued to build on that offensive surge. We got a lot of momentum going right now, so hopefully we can keep it up.
What can you say about the way Kim play today?
You guys combined for eight hits at the bottom of the order and obviously great defense with you too.
Yeah, such a great player. You know, he comes in. I know he hadn't had a start in a few days, but you know he was just ready, always working hard and put together some great at bats and got on basic ton.
To you want to give Keikia Curtis cy shout out here.
Yeah, I know they scoreless inning. I know he knows how to get guys out.
Tommy, thanks a lot for stopping. Great to see you, and we'll do this more often.
Let's do it.
Thank you.
