Tommy, you guys win the two games here in Tokyo. How much sweeter does that make coming all the way out here and the experience.
Yeah, it feels good, you know, always good winning some ball games, and you know it's good to get back out there and play some games that matter and to do so in a great environment.
What did you see from Sazaki today? You had a pretty good view of what.
Was going on. Yeah, you know, I mean his stuff's electric. He just kind of had a little bit of trouble raining it in today. But you know what impressed me was he did a good job of baron down when he got bases load in that third inning. And you know, I'm sure that this isn't the easiest environment for him to pitch in, you know, coming back home and wanted to impress everybody, but you know, we got all the confidence in the world, man, Tommy.
The Dodger offense seemed to really get things going there early on with you and Key k Homering. Did you feel like Steele was getting predictable because he doubled up on the fastball and the slider and you're at bad No, And.
I wouldn't say predictable is the right word. I mean, I had a a couple of bad chases early in the day, and you know, just trying to stay short and not try to do too much. And that's kind of what happens when I when I, when I shorten things.
Up, makes it easier. When it's a full count, you kind of have an idea it might be a fastball.
Yeah, you know, I wasn't really guessing fastball or anything like that, but you know, just trying to see the pitch and and uh, you know, trying to make sure he's on the zone.
Hey, it worked. Thanks a lot for stopping.
You gotta thank you.
