Transcript

Speaker 1

We are alive at Angels Stadium after the Dodgers beat the Halos six to two and ten innings. What a night for the Dodgers and what a night for Miguel Rojas. He drove in the go ahead run at the top of the tenth thinning. How big of a win was this for you guys to come off what you did in Arizona and find a way to get this one.

Speaker 2

Yeah, we all knew after that series in Arizona, obviously, we all know the importance of that.

Speaker 1

And he wasn't intense four days, you know.

Speaker 2

I think the whole the whole thing was kind of like a little tired today. But we talked about it yesterday after the game that we needed to come ready to play these two games because I know when things like this, you know like they're not they're not playing to get in, but they have nothing to lose, and we have to bring it every single day, regardless of the opponent. And I think it was a good show that we that we fought for this one today. Hopefully we can get another w tomorrow and.

Speaker 1

And go enjoy the off day. Not only did you drive in the go ahead run in the tenth thinning, but O'tani made you run in the third inning. You scored all the way from first space. How are you feeling?

Speaker 2

Yeah, I mean I'm not gonna tell you that it's an easy one. Like I say that that that series in Arizona was exhausted for everybody. I think we play long games, really really exciting and five games and everybody's a little task. You know. We have to just push through these two days and hopefully we can recharge on on on Thursday.

Speaker 1

Before I let you go, how personal do you believe Mookie took it when they walked or Tani in front of him?

Speaker 2

Yeah, I mean, those are those are things that's gonna happen. You know, it's all about matchups. Like when you when you see it from from his perspective right there, he's he's feeling disrespected, he's feeling like you're gonna know who I am, and that giving the edge, you know, like to go out there and and do what I do. You know, he's a he's an MVP, and the that's

that's what good about this team. Like we have three guys who're gonna end up in the Hall of Fame hitting back to back to back and that's a privilege for us to have. So courus to Mookie that he he always take a personal.

Speaker 1

And he did the job right there for us. You know who else is a problem, Miguel Rojas, thanks for stopping.

Speaker 2

I'm a problem.

Speaker 1

Mahya, you are okay. Thank you
