We're live at Dodgers Stadium. After the Dodgers shut out the Guardians Ford to nothing behind a great pitching performance from Jack Flaherty and certainly got enough offense. Max Monsey must have felt good to attack on a big insurance run there in the bottom of the eighth.
Yeah, it felt good, especially you know the left on left just good swing for me. But you know that Jack was unbelievable today, an extremely hot day. He went out there and took care of business for us. You know, most teams you can tell we're kind of reeling from the heat. So for him to go out there and do that put us in a really good spot.
To win monthly. I know you get a lot of attention for your offense, but you made a great play at third base early in this game, a hot corner shot from Jose Ramirez to get two outs early. How big was that for you and for Jack?
Yeah? Yeah, that was a you know, that was kind of a key point in the game. And be able to get two outs right there anyway possible as that was big And you know, these knees have a couple of jumps left in them, but you know it was a good one.
Yeah, is that the highest you've gotten off the ground in a while.
I don't know, I don't know. You know, I used to be able to dunk. I might still be able to, but you know, who knows.
How much fun are you having. I know it's been somewhat of a grind, but you've come out on the other end of it pretty well.
Yeah, it's it's it's really fun to be back. It's, uh, you know, you miss time. You realize how much you missed being out here, and it's you know, it's definitely a blessing about here every single day. And I don't I don't take it for granted. And it's, uh, you know, it's especially better when we're getting wins, and that's what we've been doing lately.
