What to day for Max Month see two home runs, seven RBIs, including the go ahead grand slam in the sixth inning. Max, what were you thinking right there leading up to that at bat as Davey Martinez has taken Soroca out, then they're repairing the mound. Did you feel like momentum was on your side?
Well? I feel good about the bet. I faced him last night, so I kind of saw everything that he had, and you know, for me, it was just keep the ball off the ground, get something in the air, get at least one run in, hopefully find a guff and you know, obviously had better than that.
Your go ahead grand slam was your two hundredth career home run. How A where were you of that?
Oh? I was pretty aware, you know, obviously was trying to get it for a while, and you know, very blessed to finally be able to get that, and I'm very excited about it.
How high is your confidence not only today but leading into this game, in this entire month of June up there?
You know, But for me, it's it's always been about the team. So my confidence in the team is up there. We just had a really good homestand play some tough teams, and you know, this series right here is always a tough one. After you play the Giants and Padres, you know you have the Nationals coming in maybe not as much energy, and so for us to take two and three, I think that's pretty big for us.
You guys got to feel good going out on the road, like you said, closing out a long homestand winning every series.
Yeah, we're all looking forward to the off day tomorrow. I think a lot of the guys need it, so it'll be, uh, it'll be nice to have a little refresher.
