Now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talk.
We're here with guys that made a big impact today in different ways. Matt Sour, who got his first major league win last week, gets his first major league save today, and your guy, James Outman almost gave the ball away, Sour.
No, he knew, he knew, he knew to give it to me, right it was. It was stuffed in my pocket the whole time, never a doubt.
How does that feel to get your first win last week and first saved?
Now? That's awesome. I mean it's a blessing. I mean the offense just putting a ton of run up there when I'm out there to throw. So just found the zone and let's put up zeros and get the win.
All right, Sour, thanks for stopping. I'm gonna talk to Tarzan now. It sounds good, hey, Tarzan. James Outman, your second game back, you started that seventh inning rally. How does it feel to contribute in a win like today?
Feels great? You know Nack and Matt threw the ball great. I wasn't behind Nac, but I was behind the Matt and he looked really good, like all of his stuff look good today, and uh it was. It was nice to have a good view of it. But to answer your question, getting it started, Uh, just you know, trying to do my job as best as I can.
Yeah, and you also had a great slide under the tag at the plate. Did you think it was going to be as close as it was?
It was looking pretty close. They're playing a little shallow out and right, so, uh, I just tried to get on my horse. Dino was telling me to go keep going, and uh, uh yeah, luckily we're safe.
How good does it feel they hit a major league home run again?
It feels great, feels great, nothing like.
It always good when it's a win too. Thanks a lot, James, and you're number one fan. John Papadecas sends hiss Call of the Wild to you, Tarzan.
All right, thank you, John, appreciate it.
