What a tenth inning for you? What a game for you? Not only do you drive in the tying run, but you score the winning run. I know you're a little out of breath, but take us through that inning right there, you know, you know.

Speaker 1

Yeah, they took the lead in the top of the tenth.

Speaker 2

Uh.

Speaker 1

You know, there's situations to get the runner over or try to drive him in, and in that situation and stuff is too good to to try and move the runner. So it was just about locking it in and getting a good pitch of hit and not being too anxious, not done trying to do too much. And uh yeah, I kept telling myself this, moments like theseus are the

why they brought me here. So the right man of the plate and uh, I'm glad he gave me a good pitch to hit three two, and uh I was able to capitalize and fires with a greater bat, Jay with a greater bat even though it didn't finish our way, so you know, just missed it. And then Tail did what tail does? Driver run in. The driver runs in and feels good to sweep.

Speaker 2

How big of a sweep is this for you? Coming off the Phillies series and now you're tied with Philadelphia for the best record in the National League.

Speaker 1

Yeah, no, I mean sweep sweeps, win regardless of of of situation. And of course we were in a in a stretch here. We're gonna play a lot of really good teams back to back and it's not gonna get any easier, going to Milwaukee for four and then San Louis for three, and uh, you know it was big for us to get this win. Uh, not really caring about the scoreboard, just worrying about ourselves and uh, you know, we did what we have to do to win this game.

Speaker 2

It's only August, but key K is playing like October. Thanks a lot for the time and see you on the plane.

Speaker 1

Thank you, sir.
