We are alive at Dodgers Stadium after the Dodgers come from behind and beat the Red Sox in eleven innings, seven to six, And I'm here with the man that celebrated ten years service time in the big leagues in a big way, and that is Key k Hernandez Key k. What a game for you? Late, Always ready, always clutch. Yeah, obviously not starting the game. You gotta be ready for whenever your name gets called upon, in my case is whenever a lefty comes in to face a couple of lefties.
Uh, it was really really hard to see that first of bat, but then you know, the shadows went away, and there's no secret with what Kenley's gonna try and do to you. And uh, you know he gave He gave me a good first pace of hit. I swung through it and then made a good pace restrict too, And then I was trying to, you know, stay on top of the ball and uh, you know, put the ball in play, and I happened to catch the ball off front.
And then after that the third of bat, it was you know a lot of a lot of self talk just to stay stay in the at bat, stay confident, you know, Uh, telling myself there's no better, nobody better in that situation, and uh, you know, I'm just happy that I came through. I haven't been able to come through for the team that much, especially here at Dodger Stadium, and uh, definitely a great one. Feels like you had a lot of clarity. Your mind was pretty
clear today. Yeah, you know, it's a pretty special day obviously. It's it's hard to feel like it's a special game when you're playing regular season games. And uh, you know, my my I got my whole family in town, my wife and and my my parents and my sisters. Uh they we had a great morning. Uh you know, kind of appreciating what this this whole journey's been about. And I'm just really thankful that that I'm back here and that uh you know, it's it's it's crazy how the world
works. But uh, you know, to be able to celebrate ten years of service time at Dodger Stadium playing against the Red Sox, the other team that I played the most time, uh my career, it's a it's a pretty special one. And to be able to come through for the team twice like that, it's a start to put its words, Hey, we know that Key k Hernandez really well. Thanks for stopping and congratulations. Thank you David. There is the man, Key k Hernandez coming up big for the
Dodgers. He tied up the game twice and scored the winning run on Will Smith's game winning hit. Key k Hernandez with a game tying home run in the bottom of the ninth inning off of Kenley Janssen and then a game tying base hit in the bottom of the tenth inning to send this game to the eleventh as the Dodgers get the win seven to six over the Red Sox.
