Transcript

Speaker 1

And now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talker.

Speaker 2

We're live at Dodgers Stadium after the Dodgers deliver and win on the night Clayton Kershaw records his three thousand career strikeout, and we're here with the official human counter for Kershaw, the one and only Freddy Freeman. I guess the front foot was working in the ninth.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I was better a couple of better swings tonight, but you know, I just hopefully, hopefully we can get some.

Speaker 4

Momentum going with it. But it was good.

Speaker 3

I'm glad we were only gonna win for Clayton on this day. So when we have to go in there and toast to him, it's a little bit more happy mood than not winning on this day.

Speaker 4

But Clayton eighteen.

Speaker 3

Years planned to do it in front of his home fans that I got the walk to pitch for a long time, and the way he did it the last last probably the last batter that he had, and to get it in front of this crowd and so he can have his moment. Credits of the White Sox were letting him have that moment a little longer.

Speaker 4

Just a lot of awesome things after the night.

Speaker 2

How special is this for you, Freddy, to deliver a walk off win on this night.

Speaker 3

Yeah, you know, you always want to be in those situations to be able.

Speaker 4

To you know, potentially win a game and to come through.

Speaker 3

It's definitely nice. But credit to Mookie getting sackfled. There's a lot of good things that happened in the bottom of ninth for that to happen. But more importantly, we hope Max is okay. And then also this is this is Clayton's day.

Speaker 2

Yeah, hey, it's Freddy's day too. Freddie all start, walk off, hit, all of it today.

Speaker 4

I appreciate it. Thank you very much.
