And now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talking.
We're a live at Dodgers Stadium after the Dodgers come from behind and beat the Yankees eight to five, and we're joined right now by World Series MVP. He came up big again tonight against the Yankees, Freddie Freeman. Can you just talk about the energy in the stadium and how you guys do what you do and come back. Yeah.
I mean, we obviously knew coming into this series and a lot of people we are gonna be coming to this game, a lot of people talking about just like it was last October. I think I've been doing interviews about this upcoming series for a week now, so obviously if people are very interested. But you know, beating Max Free that's extremely hard to do. It's a top five
pitcher in the game. But when you have Joey o Tani and hitting homers and Tony giving us six innings and cutting it out, that was huge for our bull fan going into games at thirteen in a row. So there's a lot of good things that happened tonight.
What changed in that sixth inning against Free?
I had real answers. You know, it's just you know, show I handle home run, and then you know, Tayo and Will got on base with singles, and I kind of was just looking synk er in because I figured he was gonna try and get a double play, and you know, I was able to lift one there and we were able to kind of keep it rolling there and get four runs off of Max. It's really hard to do and that was huge for us, and we obviously got a couple more interurnance runs the next inning.
Freddie, you doubled to add some insurance runs in the seventh inning. But I gotta be honest with you, I think the sellout crowd was very nervous with you sliding feet first into home plate tonight.
Yeah. I mean, once Dino sent me, I was like, I gotta make it so but I'm doing okay. I'm gonna get some TLC in the training room after this game. But I'm just glad I was able to make it.
Freddie, what a game, what a night, what a player, Freddie Freeman the man.
Appreciate you, David, Thank you very much.
