And now your host for Marongo Casino Dodgers on Deck, Tam Chase. Hell, Hi everybody, and welcome in to Morongo Casino Dodgers on Deck. Your Los Angeles Dodgers thirty nine and twenty five on this season, first place all alone atop the NL West. After salvaging the series in Pittsburgh with a win last night over the Pirates, the Dodgers are now in the Bronx for the
start of a huge three game series against the Yankees. Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound for the Dodgers in this series opener, first pitch coming up at four to five. Coming up over the next hour here on Morongo Casino Dodgers on Deck. We got a lot to get to before first pitch. You're gonna hear from Dodger manager Dave Roberts, David Vest. We'll check in with us throughout the show, but in forty five minutes he will sit down one on
one with Mookie Betts. Shortly we'll hear from Kirsten Watson. We'll get your O Toddy and rewind the latest on the Dodgers injury front, and in just a few minutes we'll head out to the Galpin Motors broadcast booth and check in with Rick Monday and even Nelson Well. Last night in Pittsburgh, the Dodgers got out their offensive funk is they pounded the Pirates. Yeah. A quick start for the Dodgers. Top half of the first inning, Mookie met Mookie
Betts gets on base, Shoel Tani gets on base. Third bat of the game, Freddy Freeman bets off of second base, so Tony, not being held at first, has a big lead. Fitch to Freddie. He drills one deep to right field. In is bat. It has gone a three run shot for Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers jump all over Bailey Falter here on the top of the first home run number eight for Freeman and the Dodgers on the board. First three nothing, three nothing, Dodgers lead. Just like
that, Miguel Rojas added an RBI singles. The Dodgers were rough four to nothing. Walker Buehler got the starts and it was a rough one for him. Didn't get a lot of help on defense, a couple of airs behind him. Throwing theirs from the left side of the infield. He gave up a run in the second and then three more in the third, Naked Zales
the two run home run, as that tied the game at four. Walker Bueller would go just three innings, four runs, three strikeouts, seventy eight pitches before the Dodgers bullpen took over as far as the offense was concerned. Tied four to four of the fifth, when tay Oscar untied it, Walter turns and delivers the one zero pitch, and this one is hitting the air right field deep, heading back toward the wall. It goes. It has
gone a home run. It's an opposite field homer for Taoscar Hernandez, his thirteenth of the season, and the Dodgers take a five to four lead. Opposite away home run for tay Oscar. Dodgers take a five to four lead, and they would bust it wide open in that fifth and they'd score six runs total. Key k Hernandez an RBI double he scored on a catcher's throwing there, and then Mookie Betts a three run home run, his tenth of the year, fourner and ten feet to center field, as the Dodgers took
a ten to four lead. They tacked on one more in this six on a Key k Hernandez RBI single. The Dodgers would go on and win by a final of eleven to seven. Michael Grove gets the win in relief. He pitched two solid innings out of the bullpen. Every Dodger starter had a base hit last night. They scored a eleven runs on fourteen hits, three home runs, two three run shots for Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, a pease toa Oskar. Hernandez was three for five, a single, a double,
a home run. He was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.
As the Dodgers get the final game in Pittsburgh, they avoid being getting swept as they are now thirty nine and twenty five on this season and now a three game weekend series none bigger than this in the Bronx Yankee Stadium Tonight, Tomorrow and Sunday Night Baseball, Yoshinobu Yamamoto gets the start tonight in the series opener and with more, Let's head out to the Gallpin Motors broadcast with on this Friday afternoon, as we welcome in Rick Monday and Steven Nelson,
Guys, thank you. Tim countdown in the Boogie Down continues before game one of the three game series for the Dodgers against the Major League leading New York Yankees. It's been a minute since the Dodgers have visited the Bronx, Rick Monday, have you ever played a big game for the Dodgers against the Yankees or you know, perhaps like six of them in a series. It could be, could be in nineteen eighty one that was at the old Ballpark.
But you start to look at these two franchises. You know, one thing you don't do. You cannot walk into a store and by tradition, and both the Yankees and the Dodgers have been able to build that tradition over the years. And if you look at these two story franchises, I mean, they have not met in a World Series since nineteen eighty one, but they have met in World Series eleven different times in their history. And all we had to do is that I know, you were on the field and talk
to a lot of people. This had all the makings pre game of what you would see in a World Series with people, masses of media on the
field. Yeah. What Rick is trying to say is there are a lot of people standing around doing nothing just to be here because they know how big a series that this is, and for the Dodgers in particular, they're coming off a series loss in Pittsburgh. They did stiff arm a sweep with they win yesterday, and I thought it was important for Dave Roberts and the team as they have to acknowledge that while this is is just a three game series
in June, this is bigger than them and bigger than the Yankees. This is one of those series that is important for the sport of baseball, and I think it's a good point. I think also Steven, that it may be magnified a little bit more because the Dodgers had not played particularly well, including yesterday, even though or last night when they wonted. I mean it was eleven to seven was the final. They had fourteen hits, they gave
up fourteen hits. Walker Bueler only went three innings in that game. The Dodgers also committed three errors in that game. So there's a world of improvement. And I mentioned that because this Dodger ball club is more than just capable of playing better baseball, they have expectations themselves of doing exactly that last question before we step aside mode, this is a collection of All Stars. There's
a collection of MVPs as well. Of course, you know the trio that the Dodgers have, but Aaron Judge as an MVP award, John Carlos Stanton has won. Juan Soto, who is not in the starting lineup tonight, he figures to be someone who could win one someday. Which of the All Stars do you feel is the most important in terms of the outcome of this series? I think trying to keep the All Stars on the other side quiet.
That may be difficult to do because if you look at the Yankees, they've won twenty of the last twenty five, they've won eight in a row. They score a lot of runs, as do the Dodgers. The Dodgers also slightly above the Yankees as far as team batting average. But this is basically an ad agency's dream of just looking at these two ball clubs with all the faces. Here's the other part too, similarities. Both lineups are top
heavy with the stars that you're mentioning one through four in the lineup. The question may be what's the outcome depending from six through nine In either one of these lineups, the Dodgers will not see Derek Cole. They will not see Carlos Rodin. They will see some good pitchers in this series, a Cody Potit, former UCLA Bruin. We'll start tonight against Yoshinobu Yamamotol, his first start in New York. When we check back in TC, we'll get into
Yama Motors turn against the New York Yankees. Sounds good, appreciated, guys, As we count you down to first pitch, Dodger fans, get your game day meal on at Shaky's Pizza Parlor or are your Shaky's Pizza, Chicken and Mojo's right now at Shaky's dot Com. Coming up here on Dodgers on Deck, you will hear from Dodger manager Dave Roberts. We'll check in with David Veasse, who goes one on one with Mookie Betch. We'll dive deeper
into this pitching matchup. But I'm next. You're O TAWNI rewind and we'll visit with Kirsten Watson from Sports and at LA. It's a big one Friday Night from the Bronx, Dodgers Yankees. I'm Tim Kasis, Los Angeles Dodgers Audio Network is Loronzo Casino, Dodgers on Dodgers on deck y'all on the official home of La Dodgers Baseball. It's the Dodgers and the Yankees from the Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Dodgers lost two to three in Pittsburgh to start this
road trip, but they won the finale last night. Yoshinobo, you have a moto against Cody Petite, first pitcher, Yankee Stadium, coming up at four O five. This is the Otani three Why well? Last night in the win over the Pirates, Smookie Bens and Freddie Freeman each hit three run home runs. Shoey Otani was one for six at a base hit in the first inning, but failed to reach base after that, struck out three times,
still hitting though three eighteen on this season. The Otani Rewind brought to you by Eto a ins Oocha, Japan's number one Green Sea, available at your local diso stores, Amazon and etoen dot com. That's it t O e N dot com. This is Kirston's Corner with Kirston Watson. Kirston now joins this live from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. You can feel the buzz from South California. Kresten. It's Yankees Dodgers, always fun, but kind
of feels like the Dodgers are the underdog in this. Yeah. No, it's a weird one right now, especially because the Yankees are playing incredible baseball right now and now they are going to be without jan Soto tonight. But manager Aaron Boone was saying that it doesn't seem likely, but there is a chance in when she could be available off the bench, and he does expect
him to see him in some capacity in this series. But when it comes to today, there is definitely there's I wouldn't say you feel it like from the Dodger standpoint. Those guys they know what they need to do. They need to you know, they've been playing decent baseball, but they know that they can play better. The defense yesterday was not very pretty. Dave Roberts talked about that, but the offense has kind of gotten back on track and
hopefully we can get some really solid pitching from Yoshinobu. There should be a fun one for him today and just leaning into this atmosphere, but it is that weird dynamic that technically the Yankees are the better team. Technically they're the best hum in baseball right now. And even though we are number one in the West, technically they're number one overall. So that should be an interesting one. Yeah, no doubt. Kirsten is brought to by Cars for Kids.
The easiest way to get rid of that old car just donate today. Your car could be picked up tomorrow. Is that easy? Donat now? The Cars for Kids that ORG. That's Cars with a K. Big news for the Yankees. Juan Soto a little banged up and not playing tonight. Yeah, not in the lineup tonight. He wasn't place on the il, which I think is a good sign. He is a bit. He's on
the bench, He's going to be available off the bench. But when Aaron Boone was addressing the media earlier, he was saying that he underwent some imaging and an MRI, so it's just showing some inflammation and his forearm. They scanned the elbow. No structural damage, so he's not even having an injection or anything. He's just going to take some anti inflammatories and hopefully that will
help. He didn't necessarily go into specifics as to just like what exact where, exactly where the injury things like that, but he did say he was asked if he's going to be available in this series, and he did say that he does expect him in some capacity. He said that he does believe that he could be available off the bench, whether that's a pinch hit situation, it doesn't seem like in The good news is he has been playing kind of through this, you know, as much as it started bothering him.
The fact that he's been playing, the fact that he is not is not going to be an il stint at this point. So they feel good about that. From the Dodgers standpoint, though, that does mean that they dodged a bullet because he has been playing very very well. So if they only have to see him in a limited capacity, I think that could be a very good thing. I have no doubt about it. Less Wan Soda the better still the coveer on Moroco Casino, Dodgers on deck. We appreciated curious,
So we'll check int with you a little bit later. We'll previous pitch matchup, David Batsay goes one on one with Mookie Betts. But up next we'll get you an injury report and well here from manager Dave Roberts been leads up to Dodgers and Yankees from New York. First pitch of four o five
of Tim Kasi's Los Angeles Dodgers Audio Network. This is Morongo Cassino Dodgers on your home for LA Dodgers Baseball. Brogo Casino Dodgers on Deck continues on this Friday afternoon Marongo Casino Resort and spot a Grand Slam four Good Times Dodgers and Yankees from the Bronx start of a three game weekend set. First pitch at four oh five. It's the LA Dodgers Injury Report, presented by UCLA Health, the official medical partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Max Munsey on the
IL, Joe Kelly, Ryan Brazier, Bobby Miller's in Oklahoma City. That is certainly good news, as is Kyle Hurt, who is making his way back from shoulder inflammation. Clayton Kershaw is throwing today to hitters in Rancho Cucamunga. Not pitch in the game, won't be out there in front of fans, but is there well before the game today, throwing a sim game to hitters in Rancho Cucamunga. All right, let's head back out to the Bronx Yankee Stadium. Here from the Dodger Skipper questions for Dave, Dave, can
you just describe Dave? Can you talk about the pressure in the dugout with Dave Roberts, Dave? With this matchup, what are you looking forward to most? Just about Yankees Dodger. I know we talked about two historic franchises, but with the game here today, what are you looking forward to most?
You know, this is historic, it really is. It's been a while since I've been back here to Yankee Stadium, and uh, it's about stars, and uh, you know, I just want to I'm excited to see the stars show out, and I know that the Dodger fans are going to show out too. But it's good. I'm excited for our guys to play against the Yankees, and they're playing the best baseball in all of Major League Baseball right now, so it's a good It'll be a good series.
With Yoshiobu on the mound, what do you like about this matchup for him? And kind of how he can be find different ways to get to their lineup. It's gonna be a good test for him. There's a there's a balance of left handed hitters, right hand hitters, you know, guys that control the strike zone. You know, Judge is swinging the bat so well right now, you know we dodged a bullet with Soto. But for do go. You know, Alex is familiar. I know he likes playing against
his old ball club. So I think just kind of figuring out way to attack these guys. But getting strike one is going to be important. Do you think there's a test for him just with the atmosphere too, for Yoshi in this kind of environment for the first time, I don't think so. I think that. I think Yoshinobu kind of feasts on on you know, a lot of eyeballs the moment, and he's pitching a lot of big games in his career and this is just going to be another experience for him.
But I don't I know for sure that this moment, the stage won't be too big for him. I hope. So now you know what, But for me to be fair, it was in the old Yankee Stadium, the original Yankee Stadium. But yeah, Yankee fans, uh I have we have a great relationship, all right. That's Dave Roberts, the dugout. I'm not sure that's the case, seeing he was part of the Red Sox team that beat the Yankees in that comeback series, and of course that stolen base
that nobody will ever forget in Boston. Brought you by Service Titan. Dave Roberts a Titan in his own right, and he's got a plan before his team hits the field. This is Marongo Casino, Dodgers on Dead on your home for the blue all Season Low Dodgers and Yankees, Joshanoba Yamamoto, Cody Petitz out of UCLA at the pitching matchup. Plan serving all Angelinos,
Lacare dot Org joining Tim kats on Dodgers on deck. I accept everybody for who they are. This is Dodger insider David all Right, David, you traveled the Dodgers a long time and you guys were just in New York as far as the team taking on the Mets two weeks ago, but going north at the Bronx Yankee Stadium, it's a different animal, right, Yeah. Only the third time since I've been traveling with the team that they have come
back to Yankee Stadium. The first time was twenty thirteen, and the storyline then Tim was Yaciel Puig, who was on his meteoric rise at that point in time in Major League Baseball. He was the story that August in twenty thirteen, and then the Dodgers came back in twenty sixteen, and now here they are another headliner type of series with them being back in the Bronx.
On the concourse right now, I walk through some of the concession stands and Yankee Stadium is selling T shirts with both Otani and Aaron Judge on it, Baseballs with both Aaron Judge and Otani on it, frame memorabilia pictures of Otani and Aaron Judge on it. So that is how they're selling this series to
their fan base. It's a home run fiesta between show Hey Otani and Aaron Judge and I gotta tell you tim on the field before the game for both teams batting practice, it was playoff like atmosphere and walking on the concourse, same thing. A lot of Dodger fans, a lot of Yankee fans,
and it had that playoff buzz on the concourse. David is driven by Ford F Series, America's best selling truck for forty seven years in county and Ford giving you the freedom of choice Yas Hybrid Electric Head of your Southern California, Ford Dealers and find yours Ford F Series built Ford. Dodgers won last night, David. They scored eleven runs, fourteen hits, three home runs. They win the game, but they weren't happy afterwards. They were not happy.
Walker Buehler was not happy after being taken out after only three innings and giving up a game tying three run home run. Evan Phillips was not happy giving up a three run home run and throwing thirty pitches. Dave Roberts said, it was the worst play defensive game of the season. Miguel Vargas was not happy with the place he made in left field. Mookie Beck certainly was not happy or celebrating his home run. He was more lamenting the two heirs
and one third misplay that he did not make. So it was a not a great trip to PNC Park for the Dodgers after losing two out of three and being in the clubhouse after the game last night, Tim, That's the feedback I got. It was not a vibe of a winning clubhouse after a game. It was more of the vibe we just lost a series. And certainly you have to applaud the Dodgers for holding themselves to a higher standard. But I know they're happy to turn the page out of Pittsburgh and be part
of a huge series here at Yankee Stadium, no doubt about that. All Right, daved time nine to pick the ponies with the Dodger Derby. Severino delivers and there's a line drive deep to left and Mookie Betts with his forty first for careear leadoff Paul Grond Wasting no time. The Dodgers take a one to nothing lead
for Bets his fourteenth home run of the season. He's knocked in thirty four and when the Dodgers score first. This year, they're twenty three and thirteen one nothing God. Here's La Dodgers broadcastre and World Series champion Dodger Rick Monday. Always special to be a Yankee stadium when it's Dodgers Yankees, even more special to be here with Rick Monday, who has his nineteen eighty one World Series ring on wherever he goes. Yeah. I got a few looks coming through the hallways today and I just made sure that they saw it. A lot of them wearing seventy seven and seventy eight rings. However, they made sure that I
saw those. I don't remember those World Series Rick, Yeah. And you know what, we were talking along with the three of us and along with the Stephen Nelson about the fact on the field you just came up from being on the field asself. This is kind of a playoff atmosphere, and this is a considerable period of time before the first bitch is made into nice ballgame. But I've always said, you get the Dodgers and the Yankees together, I don't care what sport it is, could be Tidley Week's contest, and
I think people are going to really pay attention. And this is like playoff atmosphere coming into it. And for the Yankees, I mean, they've created their own playoff atmosphere by coming in with ann incredibly terrific forty five nineteen record. And for the Dodgers, hopefully they're on an upswing after having dropped two out of three to the Pittsburgh Pirates and they just completed the open of this
a six game road trip. It feels like that's why this series is so anticipated, because the Yankees are one of, if not the best team in the American League, while the Dodgers are one of the best teams in the National League. These are not just also rans in twenty twenty four. No, And I think the other marquee value is quite frankly, is that what players have done if you consider combining both of these teams. I mean, there's the billboard atmosphere. If you look at Aaron Judge, you look at
Sho o'tani, you look at Gimcarlo Stanton in what has done. We're not going to be seeing Soto at the start of this game. A little strange. He says he was taken out of yesterday's game and had the rain delay here and he came out said there were soreness in the left fore arm. But the odd comment was after the game it does not bother him to throw, does not bother him to swing the bat. It's just a little bit
of soreness. And I know they did imaging today. He's not in the starting lineup, but there's plenty of billboard atmosphere to come around, including with the Dodgers Freeman and Benson O'tani. So yeah, this is this is a big stage with bright lights. Rick, I'm not sure speaking of the headliners.
If you are aware of the fact that at the Yankees team story here, when you walk into the main concourse, they are selling a dual bobblehead of show Hey Otani and Aaron Judge for the low price of one nine would you like me to get you on, Well, I add to your collection as well. That's not a bad deal quite frankly. I mean we saw the prices that were put up immediately on the show Hey Otani. The first
of a few that'll have this year at Dodger Stadium. We saw within an hour of what some of those posts were close to five thousand dollars on one. It was supposed very early. So yeah, it's one of those things. Hey. By the way, I want to follow up on something we were talking about yesterday, and that was, you know, yesterday was the anniversary in nineteen thirty nine and that Carl Stoles had the first Little league.
He organized Little League Baseball to teach sportsmanship and teamwork and everything else. There was an antasty conversation that we had about travel ball and going around and concentrating only one sport, and I said, well, I thought it could be burnout in some instances, and I've kind of witnessed it here and there. Antesty conversation point I'm getting to with Bryce Harper today on MLB. The Phillies are in London ready to play that series beginning tomorrow with the New York Mets.
He was asked about that same question about travel ball. Then he said, look, growing up, he started in the little league, but he said he played baseball obviously basketball and football. Then he says, look, I felt that the motor skills developed much better in being able to play a few different sports is growing up. So it's just kind of a follow up in a conversation we had yesterday. Yeah, and obviously Bryce Harper was a
heralded high school player coming out of Las Vegas. He knows it better than most. Yeah, and he did play travel ball, but he said he was not just concentrating strictly on baseball at that particular time in high school. And again, you know, I would recommend if the young person has interested other sports, play them. Yeah, no doubt, great advice. Rick Aaron Judge show, Hey o Tani center stage here at Yankee Stadium with David Besse. I don't know about that, just the opening act right here with
Rick Mundane and the closing act on the post game Dodger Talk. Thanks a lot, Rick. We'll check in with you and Steven Nelson a little bit later. Should that'd be five bucks for that plug? Okay, sounds good. I'll get you that bobblehead or at least an arm of the bobblehead, give you a photo of me. We'll send it back to you in the studio. Tim, Thanks a lot, guys. What a star studded weekend

now what will likely be vast fielding insults from a Dodger player. It's an engagement of endearment is high and tight. Mookie Bets is no stranger to the concrete jungles of New York where Yankee Stadium. Dodgers here for the first time since twenty sixteen, Mookie Bets and a Dodger uniform at Yankee Stadium for the first time. I know everybody's excited about this series, but how do you feel about it, knowing that you're in this uniform for the first time in
this stadium. I mean, I feel good about it. I mean I don't think the uh. I think that the rivalry is still still pretty close to the same. Obviously Red Sox Yankees is that's uncomparable. But I think with both teams and both teams being pretty good, I think the game, the atmosphere will be pretty similar to to Red Sox Yankees. What was the reception for Mookie Bets when he came here as a Red Sox It wasn't anything
good. Every time you step foot in Yankee Stadium is nothing good. But you know, it's always fun coming here, and you un friends with a lot of those guys over there, and we understand the competition and we know that that's what makes it fun. Muki in the NBA, you know sometimes you have guys measure themselves against other guys Kobe weigh Lebron Kobe, Magic Bird, all that stuff. Do you ever measure yourself to see what Judge or Sodo is doing or anybody else in the league. Nah, I can't do
what those guys do. I'm not five to nine, one hundred and seventy pounds, you know. So it's I can't do anything at six eight two fifty or whatever how much he weighs or want Soto who's yeah, what six one sixty two and he weighs two thirty twenty two thirty. So there's there's nothing I can do that they can do. Or yeah that that that that they already do is so there's no sense in really trying to compare my skill set to theirs. Well, I feel it's the opposite. They can't do
what Mooki Bets can do. How many players in Major League Baseball superstars can do what you've done the last two years right field, second base and now shortstop and also last year hit thirty nine home runs. See I'm looking at it the other way. Guys can't do what Mooki Bets can do. Yeah, I mean, you know it is what it is. I do what
I can to help us win. And you know, I was just kind of blessed with the skill set and no, and guys that are five nine one seven, he probably can move around a little easier than somebody of their their stature, But you know what, different bodies come with different skill sets. I love what you said after the game yesterday. You're feeling like you're twenty one or twenty two years old. Why are you feeling that way?
Oh, I'm just obviously eating really good, making sure the engine is going, and then just my workouts and just taking extra time to take care of my body, you know. And as you get a little older, there's things that you got to do that to make sure you can keep going, you know. And I just had a lot of experience seeing people, seeing some do it the right way, see and some do it I wouldn't say
not the right way, but a different way. And so I just have some experience with seeing things, and so I'm just trying to make sure I take care of myself. It comes to a certain stage of everybody's life, right where you can't just eat McDonald's every day. Yeah, that's exactly what it is. You can can can be eating something like now, I don't. I try not to eat after like twelve o'clock. You know, it's
hard. It's hard, you know, because you know we're getting home at eleven o'clock and whatnot, and I just try to eat light mills that late. You know. It's weird. You know when you're when you're young, you can just eat the two or three in the morning and nothing right. But if I do that, now, I'm screwed for rest of today.
So I gotta like you just gotta roll with the changes, Mookie. I've enjoyed your podcasts going back to last year, and I think you told me that when you interviewed Aaron Judge last year that was really the first time you've ever had an extended conversation with him. What did you find out about him during that interview that you were surprised about or you have more appreciation for nothing? Really, I mean, I think you know we've had that was probably
the longest sit down we've actually had to have but gotten to have. But you know, playing against him here and then a couple of All Star games, you know, being on the same side, we've had some new conversations and that's probably nothing new that I really got to learn. I mean, you know, we all know who he is, and he's he's a pretty open book about himself, and so I just know he's an awesome dude and
he's a he's doing things the right way for sure. Mookie Betts is our guest before I let you go. You know, he was the jewel of the Yankees' front office eye this past offseason. That was the guy that they wanted the other team and the other borough wanted him. He or in New York. Ultimately he signs in Dodger Blue, and tonight he has a big opportunity to pitch on this New York stage for the very first
time. Yeah. I think he's going to hear it from the local crown here too, because they understand, Hey, look, we were in the hunt to try and sign him. One thing going to be looking at for Yamamoto. He challenges hitters, and that's a good way to pitch aggressively. However, first pitch batting average against this year is four nineteen. That location of the first pitch are the Yankees going to look at those numbers. You better believe they have it very well in tune what's going to happen, so
that first pitch could be very big tonight. All the hitters, the Yankees lineup has some feared sluggers and sluggers who'd like to ambush that very first pitch. We'll be looking forward to Yoshinobu Yamamoto getting off to a good start in this one, and for the Dodger offense to keep it rolling after two good showings the last two games in Pittsburgh. Tim all right, thank you guys, Dodgers starting thirty nine and twenty five, the Yankees forty five and nineteen.
They got the best record in the American League. Dodgers atop the NL West. They go into action tonight, the Dodgers with an eight game lead over the San Diego Padres, an eight and a half game lead Overbooth, the Diamondbacks and the Giants, who are starting to win baseball games, and the Colorado Rockies, they are sixteen games back in the division. It's a
big one from Yankees Stadium, the start of a three game series. Two historical organizations, lots of history and championships, Dodgers Yankees, the first of three when we come back. I'm Tim Katsi's me Moroco Casino Dodgers on Deck on the Los Angeles Dodgers Audio Network
