Your Los Angeles Dodgers thirty seven to twenty three on this season. After dropping the series opener on Friday night, the Dodgers bounced back with a win over the Colorado Rockies last night. Today they go for the series win against Colorado. Kevin Stone on the mound. First pitch from Dodger Stadium is coming up at one
ten, coming up over the next hour. Here, I'm Arongo Casino Dodgers on deck. We got a lot to get to. We're gonna hear from Dodger manager Dave Roberts. We're gonna preview this pitching matchup. David Beats goes one on one with the Bulldog, Oral Hersheizer and his puffs in the park day no pun intended with the Bulldog. Shortly, we'll check in with Kirsen Watson in just a few minutes. We'll hear from Rick Monday and Tim Neffertt
over at the gallupin Motors Broadcast booth. Well last night here at the ravine. Yama Moto was good. The Dodgers bullpen really good. The bottom of the lineup was great. Yoshinoba Yamamoto got the start. The right hander wins six innings, allowed one run on seven hits while striking out seven along the way. He limited the damage in the second, giving up a lead off double. Two batters later, Bretton Doyle a sack fly to rights and the
Rockies took a one nutty lead. At the bottom of the inning. The Dodgers entered back and got some help from the Rockies bad defense as well, Tioscar Hernedez scoring from first on a throwing there that tied the game at one. Two batters later, Jason Hayward give the Dodgers the lead. Wantrol out of the stretch. Pie has leads at first, held on by Montero and the pitch and Jason clubs it to the gap at right center. That's gonna get down and go to the wall. Pie has off to the racers.
He's gonna get waved around third. He comes to the plate, the relay is cut off and Pie has scores in the second well. The run scoring double is Hayward and the Dodgers lead it two to one RBI double for Jay Hayes six to the season. That's the top tier play the game, sponsor by Arco Quality, top tier gas for Less Dodgers a two to one lead in the fourth, the bottom of the lineup came through bases loaded for keyk Hernandez as he singled to center score and Andy Paez Dodgers a three to one
lead. Then in the fifth, Will Smith delivery with the big hits one out runner at third as Freddy Freeman rl Smith trying to get him in here, three ball, two strike pitch and Will lines it down the left field line up base hit Freeman scores, rounding first and heading to second with a run scoring double is Will Smith. It is four to one RBI double for Will his thirty seventh run backed into the season. The Dodgers extending their lead
up four to one. Yoshiyamamoto with the six innings before turning it over to the bullpen for the final nine outs. Daniel Hudson a cleaned seventh inn. Blake Trenton got the eighth and put up a zero. Evan Phillips his first outings is coming off the il came in to close it out in the ninth he had a one to two to three in you only needed eleven pitches as a Dodgers beat the Rockies four to one last night. Yamamoto gets the win. He's now six and two. Evan Phillips picks up his ninth save with
the season. How about the Dodgers seven eight nine hitters last night? Five hits, two ribbies, two runs scored. Dodgers now thirty seven to twenty three on the season, a five and a half game lead in the NL West. And today the rubber game of this three game series against Colorado. Gavin Stone on the mound to face the Rockies first pitch at one ten and with more we head over to the Galloping Motors broadcast booth and say hello to Rick Bunday and Tim Neffer. Guys, thank you very much. Tim.
Sunday afternoon baseball at Dodgers Stadium and the wrap up of a brief three game homestand it's the rubber game two between the Rockies and the Dodgers. Dodgers winning last night four to one after dropping the opener by the same score four to one. It was a pretty good outing for Yoshinobu Yama Moto managed the game very very well and got his sixth victory, and the bottom part of the
Dodgers order really started to hit. Also, Freddie Freeman a multi hit game with a single and a triple, and a three hit game for Andy Paijaz last night. Yeah, and I think Yamamoto in at first, hitting two runners left on base, two also left in the thirds, kind of wiggled out of it. Pitch count a little bit high at six innings one hundred and one pitches, but sixty seven we're in the strike zone. His split finger fastball, tim we continue to just talk about it. When he gets
that over and steadily gets it over. I mean there's some hitters that have been absolutely confused. Last night, we saw the breaking ball, and it takes people by surprise. I mean, we've talked about him many times. He's five to ten, weighs one hundred and seventy five pounds, soaking wet, and yet he gets it up there at ninety seven miles an hour, and that fastball zips past some hitters and they look surprised at times. Dodger
bats eleven hits last night. They hope to continue that today, as they'll face a left hander in Austin Gomber. Gavin Stone will go for the Dodgers, and Mookie Betts back at the top of the lineup. He's hitless in his last three games. Oh for his last fourteen, Yeah, oh for fourteen. Show hey Otani, you start to look at what he's done the last dozen games, hitting just two to eight. But this Dodger ball club, now you have to look at the positive side too. I think they're
feeling it. They've won now four of the last five. It's a good foothold win today and then pack up. They leave tomorrow, go to Pittsburgh and then face the Yankees in New York, and hopefully the trip back from New York is going to be less well, less restrictive than it was coming back to last time. But the Dodgers have a ball game nine innings at least today to pick up the victory. And one of the keys today too, is going to try to keep Ezekiel Tovar off base. He's six for
eight in the series with a home run. He's done everything, and he's a delight just twenty two years of age, but he shows much larger than that as far as the birth certificate, the way he plays the game. Also at short stop, he covers a ton of real estate. Defensively. It is Louke gerrig Day around baseball. Garrick died on this day in nineteen
forty one. Also ninety nine years ago. His streak of playing in twenty one hundred and thirty straight games began the Dodgers thirty seven twenty three, five and a half up in the division and the Rockies fourteen and a half back there twenty one and thirty six, and the Rockies and series finales this year are six and twelve. We got your magical moment of the day. We'll get you an injury report. What up next? You're
O Tawny rewind and we'll visit with Kirsten Watson from Sports net LA. As we lead you up to first pitch, Dodgers and Rockies from the ravine. I'm Tim Katson. This is Los Angeles Dodgers Audio Network. It is Lorongo Casino, Dodgers on, Dodgers on deck y'all on the official home of LA Dodgers Baseball, Dodgers and a Rockies rubber game of this three game brief home stand against the Colorado Rockies. Kevin Stone, Austin Gomber. The pitching matchup
today. First pitch at one ten. This is the Otani three wide wand all out of the stretch ready to deliver. There goes Otani for second base. Pitch is low for a ball, throw as high, and O'tani's in with a stolen base, and I guess that answers the question, how is his left handstring feeling very well at this time? He goes first pitch and he is now fourteen for fourteen in stolen bases. One to old pitch from Rogers and Showy wraps one up on the middle latch up base hit. That's
the swing you'd like to see on a show. Hey Otani showy Otani won for three last night. That stolen base is one hundredth stolen base of his career. Kirston's Corner with Kirston Watson. Kirston now joins us here at Dodger Stadium before the finale of this brief three game homestand three games against the Colorado Rockies today the serious decider between the Dodgers and Rocky So it's split the first two games and Karsten no better guy to have it on the mound than Gavin Stone, who has really been pitching well lately. Yeah, he's been getting deep into
the games. He's been efficient. He is someone who it's kind of like we've gotten to see him evolve as a big leaguer the last two years, but we've really gotten to see him like become an ace of sorts. Like obviously Tyler Glass now is ace of this rotation beat. He is someone who has found a way to just fill out the rotation even more. He's been really consistent. And even Dave Roberts today when he was talking about just kind of this evolution of Gavin Stone and he was saying, it's the focus for
him is that fastball command. When he has that, obviously everything else is kind of in play. But for him, it's just seeing his conviction, seeing how he's handled these moments. That's what's been most impressive. So today will be a challenge. Of course, with this Rockies team, we've been saying, they've been putting up some good stuffy exactly, so hopefully he can limit them and the offense can find a way to give him some support.
We're starting to see guys trickle back health wise. The latest Evan Phillips for this series got in last night and pitched well in the ninth inning. Bobby Miller pitched another minor league rehab start last night and he's gaining traction on coming back. Yeah, he's gaining traction. Look the results yesterday, they weren't great. The velocity was a tick down, But I think when you take a step back and look at everything as a whole. The most important thing
is that he is still healthy. They were looking into just kind of they're looking more into what led to the results, A Roberts said, But he talked to Thomas Albert, the head athletic trainer, and health is good. That's the most important thing. Now. There is still a conversation as if, considering yesterday didn't go as he had hoped, does it make more sense Originally the plan was just three rehab starts. Does it make more sense for
him to maybe have two more instead of just one more? That could be something that's really they might take in, especially their rotations pitching well right now, and you want him to be not only healthy, but the stuff to be really good spot more competitive pitches. So we'll see how that plays out. But they are open to the idea. And Dave was saying this last night that if it takes him a little bit more time, then it takes him more time. They would rather get him back healthy and in a good
spot where he could be successful. Speaking of time, hopefully you've had enough time to do some laundry over these three days of being home because East Coast road trip quick back home for three games and now it's back to the four to one to two, Pittsburgh, back to New York. I just want you to know laundry has been done, but the suitcases are still on the floor. Like it didn't make sense for me to like unpack that. I was like, okay, just take the clothes out. Wash one needs to
be washed. Sweatsuits still because you know, we have our trap, so it's still in a pile ready to go. And even like my toiletree bag because I have you know, I'm now like a pro in this game. I've got my home toilet trees and then my travel toilet trees. Those are all still packed and in the suitcase. But the suitcase is literally laid out on the floor. So I'm just gonna have to put I guess new outfit. I don't know. It's literally it felt like, besides the fact that
we didn't really get to put our heads on the pillow. When we got back here, it was like, m yay, fifteen hours later, we're gonna the day the sun is rising. The sun was rising in New York, and then we landed in here and the sun was rising here, and now we are gonna get back on a plane and go back to the East
Coast. But you know what the positives we're playing, Well, yes, we are going to Pittsburgh, which is a beautiful stadium, and then we're gonna go play the Yankees, and that is one of those experiences that I have never I've been to Yankee Stadium, but I've never worked a game there, and so that's how I do my stadium checklist. Love it. So I'm getting close to the end. Get ready to check that box in New York. It's gonna be fun. Kirsten, appreciate it. We'll check with
you after the game. Dodgers fans, enhance your listening experience by downloading the iHeartRadio. I've been listening in HD. Max Munsey on the iel with the Grade one oblique strain. Joe Kelly on the iel at the shoulder strain, Ryan Brazier on the iel at the right cap strain. Bobby Miller made her my minor league rehab start yesterday in Ranch with Kucamonga. He is scheduled to make one, possibly two more.
Clayton Kershaw through a SIM game yesterday. He is rehabbing. Bruce Dark, Gradol, Kyle Hurt, Tony Gonsolin, Dustin may All on the sixty day i L image and done for the season after Tommy John surgery. All right, let's check you with the Dodger Skipper anything Dad. Question for Dave? Dave? Can you just describe Dave? Can you talk about the pressure
in the dugouts with Dave Roberts? How much more favorable is the schedule going to be for you guys when you return home from this East Coast road trip again, it's gonna be uh, it'll we can kind of catch our breath a little bit. I thought, uh, two days ago we were a little sluggish, and you know, it just kind of it is what it is. Yesterday I thought we came with a lot more energy, and you
know, we can get through this one. We have an off day heading back to the East Coast, and then six days later we get another off day. So the schedule going forward is really going to be manageable, and so it's good to see that. You know, as far as the dates, the days off, the toughest part is essentially behind us. Now, how unusual is it? Have you ever experienced that just coming back for three days on the West Coast and then going back to the East Coast. No,
no, we haven't. And you know, I'm sure there's some reasoning behind it, but I think with the balance schedule. Now there's some things that are different for everyone. You know, some teams are playing sixteen in a row. Some teams have got to play six on the East Coast and fly back to the West coast for three and go back to the East coast. So it is what it is, and we're not gonna overthink it. All right, there's Dave Roberts down the dugout, brought to you by Service
Titan. Dave Roberts is a Titan in his own right, and he's got a plan before his team hits the field. You need one for your growing contracting business too. Let Service Titan help you implement it. This is Marongo Casino Dodgers on Deck on your home for the Blue All Season Law. It's a Dodgers and Rockies on this Sunday afternoon. Gavin Stone, Austin Gomber the pitching matchup. First pitch set for one ten joining Tim Kates on Dodgers on deck. I accept everybody for who they are. This is Dodger inside there. David Basse all right, DV Max Mounsey, what's going on with that oblique injury? Yeah? Max was in the Dodger clubhouse after
he took some ground balls, but was not throwing across the diamond. He was just throwing him into a bucket which was standing nearby, and I asked Munsey, what is going on and he said absolutely nothing. And it's extremely frustrating because with this oblique injury, he is not allowed to do any physical activity. So it's kind of a wait and see period for Monseie until that oblique strain calms down. Because the reason why it's taken even longer the Dodgers
and Munseie thought he was over it. He went to camel Back Ranch in Glendale, Arizona to start swinging again. All of a sudden it wasn't completely healed, so it set him back a little bit more. So, right now we have a very frustrated Muncie. He feels helpless, he feels like he's let his teammates down, and right now all he can do is just sit there and wait until the oblique heels because any type of exercise or rigorous activity, he has to engage his course. So there's nothing he can do
right now that is frustrating. David is driven by the Ford F Series, America's best selling truck for forty seven years and counting. Ford gives you freedom of choice, Cass Hybrid Electric heady your Southern California Ford Dealers, and find yours Ford F Series built tough. Bobby Miller made a minor league rehab start for Rancho Cucamonga last night DV. He gave him some runs. Overall, what's the concern or no concern over these last two outing for hims Tim it
feels like writers are trying to make a story that isn't there. I mean, they keep asking Dave Roberts about Bobby's velocity. There's wondering of why it was the way it was. Did he get hurt or is he not effective?
That's not the case at all. If you go back to listen to our conversation before Friday's game, he made it very clear that he feels like he's ready to go, So I'm sure the adrenaline was not at its peak last night in Lake Elsinore, and a scout that was there was watching Bobby Miller text me and said that it appeared that Miller was trying to get the feel for that curve ball he was talking about on Fridays. So it felt
like what I gathered from that scout A, he's healthy. B it was an okay outing because the adrenaline wasn't there, and see he was working on stuff. So whatever you read or hear, there is no panic. It's fine. He's gonna go out on another rehab assignment and it will be better than it was yesterday. That is carily good new. All right, Dave, we're gonna cut you liost. We'll join back with you in just a couple of minutes. Day's gonna go one on one with a bulldog Oral Hersheizer.

This is one of the shortest homestands I can remember in recent Dodger
history. But here we are the finale of this short three game series. I'll tell you what. We were on the plane out of New York to LA. Longer than it seems about this homestand it was thirteen and a half hours for a five hour flight, doing a lot of different things. But yeah, very quick turnaround, no question about that, and the beauty of
it. David Bassey, we have a chance to repeat it out of New York because, first of all, club leaves tomorrow to go to Pittsburgh and then on to New York to face the the lovable Yankees, which I love going back there because even as a kid growing up here in Santa Monica, I did not like the Yankees, except for one guy that was number seven, Mickey Mantle. I watched him very very closely and then later on not to drop names, but got to know Joe DiMaggio, so there was a
little extra compensation of a time out. Didn't really like the Yankees, and I think the reason was because it seemed like they won all the time. Every time we turned on the television on that Saturday morning to see the game of the week, it seems like it was the Yankees playing against somebody.
And this still happens to be the fact many many times. You wonder how many times the Yankees and the Red Sox could be possibly televised nationally, But it'll be the Dodgers and the Yankees if we look a week from today,
televised on the getaway day to end the next road trip. You know, it's funny you bring that up. I remember going with you to New Yankee Stadium and it was the first time the Dodgers had been there, and they were showing highlights of the seventy seven and seventy eight World Series, and you shouted outside of our booth, why don't you show eighty one? That's what
I said, where's eighty one? Darn it? Where's eighty one? Yeah, they showed, and I understand that we do the same thing here at Dodgers Stadium is that you show some monumental game or a hit against the very team that you're playing, which how much agitation does it make? Not a whole lot of agitation, because quite frankly, most of the guys in the opposing dugout when they play that highlight either weren't on that team or some of
them weren't even born at that particular time. So it's kind of a distant thing. But yeah, it's a good memory because it did flash in my mind. They showed seventy seven, they showed seventy eight against the Dodgers, and both of those years, unfortunately we lost to the New York Games and then able to have redemption in eighty one. Yeah, I did yell out, where's eighty one? You didn't show that one, darn it. Rick.
You always talk about back when the Dodgers trained at Vero Beach when you played, and just shortly after your retirement, a lot of the Brooklyn Dodgers would come back as instructors. Yeah, do you remember that spring of eighty two because they had so many heartbreaks against the Yankees and finally broke through in fifty five. Your teams did not have as many heartbreaks, but broke through
after the third time. And if you start to think about the Brooklyn Dodgers, I mean they had to live with it each and every day because they were in New York. Yeah, so it was like a Crosstown rivals. They live with it a little bit more. I don't remember specifically what happened. I do know that there was some smiles on some faces, including the fact there were a few other Dodgers of former Dodgers that made their off season homes in Vero Beach as I do now as well, not because the Dodgers
are there, but because of a little Italian that's your wife. Yeah, your better half. Oh no, actually it's not. Barbarlely is my better seven eights. She is not my better half. She is my better seven eights. But it's always good to have that type of compass. Hey, speaking of the Dodgers and Yankees, today is Lou Garrigh Day, and obviously we all know his story and his famous speech on this date. Certainly a well respected player that played every single day and was as strong as an ox
and strong as an ox. It really took the baseball world by storm. So this was actually the date nineteen forty one that the Yankees learned the sad news that Luke Gerrig, seventeen days before his thirty eighth birthday, had passed away into sleep because of als. So it was on this date in nineteen forty one. This was also the date that Babe Ruth happened to announce his retirement after so many years. I was going to ask you a question yesterday
about Babe Ruth. I mean, obviously he was a two way player. Otani the two way player. He will be again next year after coming off the surgery. But for Babe Ruth with the Red Sox, a pitcher and a hitter, predominantly a pitcher. Then he went to the Yankees. Do you have any idea how many starts, how many games Babe Ruth pitchment in a Yankee uniform? Well, I've read about this. I'm going to say
the over under is fifty. It's way under. Only five. Wow, only five, because they realized, hey, look we can have him every day in the lineup as a hitter versus just as a as a pitcher, because you cannot go two ways on that. It was before the Otani rule, So you game has changed so many different I think exciting ways that the game of baseball has changed, including the number of strikes that a hitter gets, for example, has changed. It used to be you could get an
out by throwing at a runner. This is a game that's constantly evolving and constantly catching our attention. No doubt that was so primal. Rick, Well, thanks a lot, Rick, I'm glad you've evolved. Yeah, I'll seeing the plane tomorrow. Okay, sounds good. Hopefully we take off on time. We'll send it back to you in the studio. Tim, all right, thanks a lot. I'm Tim Kates's Los Angeles Dodgers Audio Network well, this is Morongo Casino Dodgers Hunt's game on your home for LA Dodgers Baseball, Dodgers and Rockies on this Sunday afternoon. It's a beautiful Sunday after noon here in Los Angeles. And I always remember coming to Dodgers Stadium and would be extra excited on a Sunday afternoon day game when Oral Herscheizer the Bulldog would be scheduled to pitch that day and usually the Dodgers would win and Oral Herscheizer joins us.
Now winning every day on Sports at LA. Thanks a lot for the time, Bulldog, appreciate it. I appreciate you, Dave every day. Let's see if they play one hundred and sixty two plus spring training plus the postseason. I'm doing ninety regular season games. Eric Carros does a few, just Co Mendoza does a few. Joe goes away from us every once a while to do his national stuff. And today I'm working with Stevens, so this
is gonna be a good day. Hey. Speaking of Eric Harrows, he was mentioning your name on this last road trip where there was a rain delay, there was a doubleheader and a plane flight delay. He was saying, the veteran head of oral herscheizer knows what trips to take off, so even the younger care is still appreciating the veteran leadership. Did you mention the B game that he went through? Did you mention some of the other delays? You know what? E Ka, I broke him in a little bit.
I remember calling him over to the mound on my thirty second start because I had come back from shoulder surgery, so there were incentives in my contract and from the last from thirty two to wherever I ended up with a number of starts, I was getting a quarter of a million dollars per start. So I warmed up for that thirty second start and he was at first base and
right before the first pitch. After I warmed up, I called him in and I said, hey, come here, pick up the rosenbag and pretend like you got something really good going on over here, and we're talking about something. But I just want you to know, when I throw this first pitch, I'm going to make more money with that pitch than you do all year. Now get back to first base, kid, and I get back to first base. But that's the kind of relationship we have, so I
understand why he's saying that veteran guy got me again. Speaking of one of oral Herscheiser's businesses in Claremont, Californi Foothill Boulevard, You've opened up a memorabilia shop. Tell us about it, and it seems like it's more than just coming to buy an autograph photo. Yeah, it really is a very eclectic place. It's twenty five hundred square feet. Six different rooms that we have, and some of the rooms are dedicated to specific things, like we have
a Dodger room and of course it's painted Dodger blue. And we have a Laker room, of course it's in Lakers colors. We have a football helmet room, of course that is mostly NFL and college football helmets that are autographed. And we have a main room, and we have a miscellaneous room, and we have a wall that's dedicated to celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Britney Spears and others. So yeah, it's a museum, a gallery, a baseball
card store, a game used equipment store, a baseball autograph store. It's everything. And a lot of the stuff came from when the Dodgers honored me as a legend. We got all of my stuff out of an attic and it was like in storage and people weren't seeing it because we had just moved into a new house a few years ago and I never really pulled it out of the boxes. So the Dodgers put me in the legends and they're like, we want to have a display. Can we get some of your memorabilias?
So I pull it all out, we give it to the Dodgers. They make a display up there on the fifth floor by the offices. And now that display has been gone down and my partners, who own a lot of memorabilia and their wives are probably saying, can we get rid of some of this because it's taking over the house. Said, you know what, the people should be seeing this. It shouldn't go back to your house. And I go, you're right. So that's how portions of it became kind
of a museum. We have an in house relationship with Dave Hobrick, the world famous artists. So it's a very nice place, and I would appreciate if people come by, because it's not necessarily about always you're going to buy something as much as you're going to get to see and experience some great stuff Legends, Addict and Claremont. You can find it on six nineteen West Foothill Boulevard, and you never know. You may show up and the bulldog oral
Herscheizer might be there. And you know, obviously we say memorabilia when it comes to your personal items, but you left your arm on the mound at Dodger Stadium. I feel when I look at your trophies that that's a piece of history. Do you look at it the same way? I guess yes, I do. You know, the older you get, the more you capsulize things that happened in your life. And in opening the store and having the museum slash gallery there, I think it's all about the story. I
think that's why people want to go. That's why people own baseball cards, or own memorabilia, or want to get an autograph ball, or want a painting of a special moment. It reminds them of something. It's a memory of a happy time, of a time when they rooted for things. We've
had a soft opening there in the last two days or so. We're not opening to the public till June fourth, But one of the most talked about pieces there is Kirk Gibson in the on deck circle, not hitting the home run and actually be in the batter's box or having the ball land in the right field pavilion, but Gibson getting ready. And the reason I've told our guys is like, that's probably because that is the biggest impactful moment in their
baseball life as a fan. And so it really has kind of steered me in how we need to flavor the store, and like, it's not just about favorite players, it's not just about telling a story about a person, but it could be an iconic moment and Gibbee is cemented in everybody's mind because of that at bat. I love it. You just gave us a little inside look. As far as the tour of Legends, addict and Claremont or thanks a lot for the time. We love you and we're so happy that

guys on the call today, Rick Monday and Tim Neffett. Thanks again, Tim, We count you down to the first pitch at Dodgers Stadium, Dodgers and Rockies rubber game of this three game set, as the Rockies with a win today, would take three straight series against first place teams. They've beaten the Phillies, the Guardians, and now are one went away from taking the
series with the Dodgers, but the Dodgers with other plans today. Gavin Stone back up on the hill, and Stone at five and two, comes off his best start as a major leaguer, seven scoreless against the Mets, a season high seven strikeouts and no walks. Yeah, it only had three hits against him in eighty seven pitches. Talk about the very efficient. Also look at Gavin Stone, the breaking stuff along the fastball here and there. But the first couple of times in the lineup he has been right on track.
Third time has been a little bit problematic. Up until the last downing that he had the Dodgers on the flip side, Tim have got to figure out and said, hey, look here's Gomber coming on. He was scratched from his last start because of some elbow soreness, but Black, the manager of the Rockies, said, no restrictions on the lefty today. Six foot five and one thing that he does fastball, has been hit for a high average. However, when he gets a head and count or when runners are on
base, he's thrown the off speed pitches three quarters of the time. So the Dodgers have to adjust and adjust a lot. Today. Gomber has faced the Dodgers seven different times. He has started three of those games. His record zero to three against the Dodgers with a five to sixty seven ERA.
And the Dodgers, as far as facing left handed pitching is concerned, they have a seven eighty five team OPS that's on base plus slugging against lefties, which is the second best in Major League Baseball, only behind the Baltimore Ors. Yeah, and for Gombert, don't take him easily. I mean, he finish his third best earned run average in the month of May. It
was below one and he's really riding a streak right now. The Dodgers have beaten the Rockies thirty six of the last forty six times at Dodger Stadium, looking for another one here today in the series finale, Gavin Stone against Austin Gomber. That's the pitching matchup. Lineup's first pitch, right around the corner, Tim all Right. Dodgers star today with the five and a half game lead in the Western Division of the National League over the San Diego Padres,
seven and a half games up on the San Francisco Giants. Giants playing host of the Yankees that game getting ready to get underway in San Francisco. Meanwhile, the Padres, they're the plot of the seventh inning in Kansas City, tied up one to one with the Royals. But the Dodgers looking to take care of business on their own with this series against the Colorado Rockies, who came in on a little bit of a roll. Dodgers looking to squash that
today. Kevin Stone on the mound in this series.
