And an exclusive interview with David Bassey or Dodger Talk.
Austin. Tony Gonsolin back on the mound for the first time since twenty twenty three and gets the win. You were a big part of it. Did it seem like the same old Tony?
Yeah, you know, he was mixing his pitches. I thought he was landing his curveball good. I'm sure he's nervous, has been out there for a while, and I thought he threw the ball really well.
Could you tell he was nervous because before the game he said he wouldn't have many emotions.
Yeah, he doesn't have too many emotions. Yeah he has. He's an emotional guy a little bit. But no, I thought he threw good. You know, he was landing the curveballs.
But he was nice.
And uh, I think he's just gonna get better with more more starts.
Are you guys a good match because of how well you're able to present the strikes lowing the strike zone.
I just like Tony. I like his mix. I like the way he pitches, and you know, it's fun catching him.
How about you doing it both ways? With three hits, you were this close to your fourth.
I know I felt good to you know, it's you know, baseball is a long season, early season. He can get it like really down if you know, you go full a couple, hope for a swing a lot. But I felt good today.
All right, pack that bet for the road trip. Thanks about there, He goes Austin Barnes, the longest active tenured player on the Dodgers. He helps Tony Gonsling get his first win since August of twenty twenty three.
