Andrew Freeman is not in the dugout, but before every game him and Dave Roberts are devising a plan and it certainly came to fruition in this series. Andrew, how proud are you of this group to be able to come back and to come back against that team.
Our pitching staff was unbelievable, twenty six consecutive scoreless innings against that offense. I can't say enough about how each one of those guys started with Walker and just all of our pen guys Yamamoto tonight, and how they all pass them aton together to one another, kept them scoreless and allowed us to win two executive games.
In your mind, when did this series change? Was it when Walker Bueler hung tough or was it when Taoscar Hernandez hit his grand Slam to show that this team had fight?
I think both. I think Walker taking down the innings he did put us a position to.
Do what we did in Game four.
But I think Tao showing that life also not only to the Podus but also throw dugout, I think that was meaningful as well. And not you know, we've been in a little two year punk in the DS and the guys that have been here are like, oh, you feel that. And so for Tayo to hit that homever, for our friend to come out in game four and do what they did, I can't say enough about this team.
One dude, twenty six, What.
About Yamamoto Andrew? You hurt a lot of critics, a lot of doubters coming into the game tonight. How proud are you of what he was able to accomplish?
We saw him last year in big games in Japan, we saw him in New York this year. His ability and there he is Travis.
Smith, the hype man for the Dodgers.
His ability to compete was never a question for us. He's getting his delivery right, getting.
Things locked in. He missed a lot of time.
This stuff's really good and he's not afraid to compete.
So that's a good combination and we got to see that tonight
