In this episode, we will talk about the California Boater Card, program objectives, how to get a card and dispelling some common misconceptions. We will meet, Kristi Jones, Program Analyst with California State Parks’ Division of Boating and Waterways and Doug Powell, Retired Lieutenant from Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department as well as a member of the California State Sheriff’s Boating and Watercraft Safety Committee, and a member of the California Boater Card Technical Advisory Group.
